Hmm... to me it just smells like plum when I first sprayed it on my wrist. Then it dries down to what seems like an apple pie. If you take a quick whiff, that is. Really weird to describe it that way but to me it does! Like sour apple pie though. I hope someone finds it the same. I mainly got it for the bottle I shall be honest. It is really cute to add to my collection. But the scent is like a meh for me, sorry! The "plum" smell I was getting smelt like pink pepper to my boyfriend though, just as the notes list mentioned. Regardless, neither a love nor a hate, just a perfume I feel okay to exist in my stash.

I love this scent so much. I can't even describe what it smells like exactly; it's so well-blended and unique. It's very feminine, and very soft-spoken. Lasts at least 8 hours. Sweet-spicy in the softest way possible. It is coquette, all the while being work appropriate too. How did they pull that one off? I do kind of get the pencil shavings other people have mentioned, but it actually doesn't bother me at all and I think that's what makes this perfume so unique; that facet blends so well with the rest of the notes. I bought a 10ml of this and will be sad when it's gone; I may have to buy a bigger bottle if I can get my hands on one.

Schondis

On my skin it smells kind of sweet orangey/peachy, with a hint of pencil shavings. I think I like it, but also my 5ml mini bottle will be more than enough😅

HeatherNS

Peppery pencil shavings. I gave it away. If you like dry and spicy, you might like this.

lemqua

i'm sorry but i can't smell anything but pickle juice. maybe i'm just not used to peppery scents but every time i get a whiff of this i imagine somebody cutting up pickles. maybe a hot pickle.

lmnsvgz

Peppery-musky-sweet. Pink pepper note is quite strong and at first there is a BLAST of bergamot and pepper. Then it turns into pepper with slight sweet undertones. Not vanillic sweetness but balmy yet powdery sweetness. It is pretty yet unique

The pink pepper is very evident the entire time. Somehow this perfume is what I think of when I think about french perfume. Despite being very spicy and powdery I think the flowers also stand out. I own a bottle that is almost empty now and I think that’s because of how versatile it is, it doesn’t ever feel out of place to me, it feels appropriate at all times, climates, seasons. It’s also one that I don’t smell often on other people when I’m out, maybe because it has been discontinued? (I’m not sure it has been) Safe blind buy for someone who likes pink pepper.

ainsleyymiller

soapy and spicy. not crazy about this scent but it's definitely a versatile, easy to wear but still unique smell. i am selling my 5mL/.17oz dabber bottle (applied about 6 times total), message me if interested.

Opalescence

Summer spice! Peppery, soapy, and fresh. Ginger isn't listed, but I smell it; perhaps it's a combination of other notes. Moderate longevity and sillage, and unisex to my nose.

adoh

This is honestly so peppery I kind of struggle to match it with whatever outfit I pick for the day, sometimes I feel like it's wearing me more than I'm wearing it.

hpeeters

SPICY SPICY. I will update after I wear it. BUT I plan to layer this with DAISY LOVE (a lovely sweet floral). I think this will bring the sweet and spicy full circle and be a fun mature scent for special occasions and night-time.

Lenniecha

It’s an interesting one. Pink pepper is the main note from opening - very strong, to end - very soft. It settles with a lot more complexity than just pepper tho. It’s woody, soapy-powdery and a tiny bit peppery on the skin. Very intimate, no sillage to it. My boyfriend qualify this scent as « that’s what I think most of the old ladies smell like »… which is not very flattering. It’s a no for me, but I’m sure it settles nicely on some people who are more into spicy and powdery smells.

LeahBear

This just smells like the 90’s. Like Impulse body spray. I wore Zen, ICO and whatever the Spice Girls one was. I can’t pick out notes. It’s hardly there no matter how much I put on and it’s gone in 20 minutes. It’s what being 7 years old smells like in my memory.

kayvee1102

If you lover pepper and spice this is for you.

KippieBall

This took spicy to a whole new level of extreme.. Used it only once or twice

velvetdoe

for the first 30 seconds or so , i get something almost like toothpaste or mouthwash- very strong and minty. that could just be the alcohol though. after that, i get something almost aldehydic, like l’air du temps, but sweeter and more pleasant. it reminds me of a fancy hotel, i’m not sure why. that lasts for about 15-30 minutes, give or take, then dries down to a beautiful, sweet, soft spicy, elegant well rounded fragrance. the beginning threw me off a bit, but the dry down is absolutely beautiful. love it

villiruusut

I acquired a set of Lolita Lempicka miniatures that included this because they were on sale. I've dabbed some on the back of my hand and the initial scent was so intensely peppery. After giving it time to dry down, the pepper lingers but is less aggressive, and the florals and the patchouli begin to really shine. For some strange reason, it reminds me of my dad's cologne/hair products that he used when I was a kid. Spicy and balsamic - would definitely consider it unisex.

AriaLennon

This perfume is the work of art that begins with an intense black pepper scent. Charmingly abrasive, refreshing, and out of the ordinary. A crisp, dark pepper is present. But the cinnamon, clove, anise, and fenugreek linger with the sweetness. This gives off Addictive, Superlative, Intoxicating, Invigorating vibes that are almost too good to be true. Beautiful fragrance for pepper lovers. It is a very enjoyable and addictive one. The bottle is stunning. I absolutely adore it!

Ferra_Verto

An old favorite! Tangy pink pepper with sweet pea, sitting on a bed of thick elemi, patchouli, amber, and tonka.
Very bold but yet very girlishly sweet and endearing.
Amazing sillage, you can definitely leave a scent trail, and lasts for a solid 8 hrs
Perfect to ush in spring and can continue on through summer.

loraxsix

I love this beautiful scent! For me, the pepper blast is brief. Citrus and heliotrope quickly take over, with a touch of tonka and resin. The amber and patchouli support at a low volume in the background. There is a sweetness, but it is a natural subtle kind of sweet. (Perhaps the sweet pea?) Lasts for a good six hours. Projects at a moderate, wearable level. Perfect for Spring, Summer, or anytime you need a whiff of brightness.

The references to fizzy drinks are accurate. I consider this scent pure happiness in a bottle! The four-leaf clover bottle is unique and just as lovely as my favorite original LL apple!

fleader

Si Lolita isn’t a girly scent. It doesn’t contain any notes that read particularly masculine either, but since it is so peppery and dry I could see it working well on anyone, regardless of gender. It does have a youthful and brisk, bracing, even prickly quality to it. I imagine a quick walker and a quick talker wearing this.

It starts off very very peppery, then the elemi comes out, and the the amber and vanilla and heliotrope, and then I can see how it fits in as a Lolita Lempicka scent. The pepper, sweet pea, and patchouli all share a dryness that really keeps the scent feeling weightless and airy. This dryness works beautifully with the elemi which is itself dry and peppery, though it thankfully does NOT smell like a dill pickle here (I have been burned before).

Pamilo

My batch is an original batch from the 2009 release. On application, there's a momentary 'signature' anise illusion reminiscent of earlier Lempicka creations. It's gone in a moment, but whilst there it's like an aroma of Sambuca or Ricard a table or two distant. There follows spices and resins, topped-off by the pink pepper.

Once the florals pile-in, it's sweet pea and heliotrope (colloquially known as "cherry pie plant" in parts of East Anglia) I notice first. The drier scent of wallflower follows, some varieties of which are described as having a vaguely clove-like fragrance. Amber and tonka serve as a warming foundation on which all else rests. Curiously, patchouli (a favourite of mine that always pings my radar) is the single note I am slow to pick-up on, but does become more discernible deeper into the drydown.

Once it settles, Si Lolita is essentially spicy, balsamic and resinous.

The bottle is a pretty design without being girlie. It is pleasingly eye-catching and reminds me of the classic-chic of Nina Ricci from 40 years ago. Delicate but not fragile.

Si Lolita is one I choose to wear in warmer weather. Womanly and demure.

Abry_81

Our noses mature and tastes change years ago I only enjoyed one type of compositions so when I tried Si Lolita a year after its release I did not like it very much, I never gave it another chance until recently I tried it again and I loved it, that lucky for me to find these two fragrances after so long
I must acknowledge that it is a polarizing and a bit contradictory essence because it is simple and complex at the same time, what characterizes this essence is basically Sweet Pea with a super high dose of pink pepper, this fragrance is quite spicy, with the characteristic sweet touch of pink pepper, when it comes out it feels fresh (bergamot and tangerine) but very spicy due to the aforementioned pink pepper, this initial slap passes quickly and the pepper settles but is present throughout the duration of this fragrance accompanied with a resinous note (elemi resin) and an amber accord and slightly sweet and earthy (amber, tonka bean and patchouli).
This fragrance is further from the concept of the house of enchanted forests and fairy tales and it is presented in a beautiful bottle in the shape of a four-leaf clover with a ball scarf in the purest and most chic Parisian style, the fragrance itself is Inspired by the young years of the designer and if the main objective was to transmit youth and joy, for the year it came out it was a unique fragrance, even today there are very few similar ones and it can be used perfectly by both sexes as it adapts very well to the Today's standards, in addition to having a different shade in each individual, the duration is quite good depending on the factors (although it can be used almost all year round) with a medium projection.

venussansfurs

A bit of an oddball because it starts out heavy on the sweet pea and gets spicier as time goes on. So I can't decide whether it's more appropriate for spring or autumn wear. Suppose one could pick either but it's rather perplexing and I wish it would make up its mind for me, lol. A nice, uncomplicated daytime scent with a cute vibe that matches the handbag box mine came in.

Livvy111

Bought this without really smelling it before..RISKY but it paid off. I checked reviews at the time and it had 5 stars. So I bought it on offer. One word- Complex in its opening, linear, straightforwards and calming in the drydown. The pepper is quite strong for about 5 minutes and a bit 'fizzy' in the opening. I was a bit worried like 'oh no what have I bought?!' but the dry down is super unusual, and EXPERTLY balanced.

The pink pepper although prominent at first is not sharp and cloying like a lot of modern fragrances. It drys down to a quiet woody floral. I think its great. Very unusual but not offputting. If you smelt this once, you would remember it for a long time. Very distinct.

And the other ingredients do not 'fight for space'. They are complimentary, just sweet and borderline unisex that keeps you wondering what this fragrance wants to be. This fragrance is a bit of a dancer. It moves with time and you cant quite pin it down. I find it really nice to wear. Those who complain of a medicinal dry down- nonsense (for me anyway). Maybe it depends on skin chemistry. I tend to like fragrances with a bit of a mineral/balsamic base note as it keeps me from feeling sick by the end of the day. A little does go a long way. Wonderfully different from all the sickly sweet unoriginal garbage out there.

tonkatsu335

From the top to the middle notes, it has a spicy ginger ale aroma. It also has an earthy note of patchouli.
After drydown, the spiciness is removed and the fragrance becomes powdery and classic.

The bottle is very pretty with a complicated and bizarre shape.
I was surprised by the spicy scent contrary to the design of the cute bottle and box.

Enrium

Having loved Lolita Lempicka, I really wanted to try this one. And I wasn't disappointed! Lolita Lempicka seems to specialise in girly scents, housed in whimsical bottles that are much better than one would expect at face value. Si Lolita is no exception - the quality of the ingredients used and its expert composition make this an impressive addition to an underrated house.

The opening of Si Lolita is a nose-tickling spicy pepper with hints of sweet orange and ginger. The initial spray is like the first sip of a fizzy drink, effervescent and bright, reminiscent of ginger ale with cola-like qualities. It manages not to be too sweet; instead is refreshing and slightly herbal. The patchouli gives it an earthy depth, beautifully complementing the other ingredients from the first spray.

The drydown is more floral, with the powdery resin notes coming to the fore. The spiciness remains, but gently fades as the scent dries down, becoming more musky. A hint of tonka bean is evident as it becomes a skin scent, and the patchouli is the last thing I can smell. Sillage and longevity are moderate.

Another great scent from Christine Nagel, SL is well-blended, fresh and interesting. Spicy citrus done well, with no dreaded potpourri vibes. A decent autumnal feminine fragrance, this is versatile and utterly pleasant throughout. 4/5.

Joani_Cheddar

i like it, i like it a lot. SPICY IN A PAPRIKA TYPE WAY, soapy in a clean sense and sweet as in a zero sugar, non fat gluten free diet treat. Nice, a different type spicy soft fragrance which may or may not open with the scent of cinnamon red hots.

IndiePenScent

At first spritz I worried that my sample had lost the pepper, because while present, the elemi resin and patchouli were so bold. Then the pepper showed up, probably the pepperiest ladies red pepper I've smelled.

After a few minutes a juicy citrus steps up to swirl it all into a sassy pepper floating in sweet mandarin juice with a good amount of patchouli giving it some depth. As the dry out continues, the flowers further muffle the pepper, and by the end the oily sweetness of the tonka bean, the sweet amber, and the patchouli are all that's left.

I would say the pepper and mandarin stage project the furthest, on me for about twenty minutes in cool weather, and the swirly "stable drydown" stage for a further two hours, maybe three, (and able to be extended with warmth as it resurrected itself every time I had to jump up and run around at work), and the patch/amber/tonka "ghost" stage lasted as a skin scent for several more, only I took a shower before bed and washed it off.

Or in other words: the Wachow! stage lasted from my house clear to my desk at work, the stable drydown hooked compliments from folks until after lunch, and the day finished with a nice quiet skin scent.

PlanetGrl

This was a blind buy that I liked for a couple weeks but one day rather suddenly made me so nauseous I washed it off. I tried it again a couple days later and had the same experience, it went into the bin straight away after that.

ginasmells

Drenched myself in this at Uni. Was probably offensive to a few people but I was 19 and didn't care!

This PEPPER with a lil resin and a lil sweet pea. So yummy once your nose adjusts to the pepper. Not nearly as sweet as other Lolita fragrances. Less sugary.

If you don't like nose-tickling scents, you won't like this. It feels like smelling a glass of soda at first.

The contrast between the brazen banging pepper and feminine resin is playful and fun. It settles to the skin nicely and mellows down to an sparkling balmy floral. So there's hope if you hate that pepper blast. I, however, loved it!

I second Jmalone84's mention of Eau des Merveilles (which I also own). Bright, almost unisex, spice. This has a softer floral element though. EdM's girly little sister, perhaps.

Trailkatt

I really want to like this. I do enjoy Si Lolita EDT very much. But every time I try the tiniest spritz of Si Lolita EDP, I am overwhelmed by pepper. I can TASTE the pepper. For hours. At least 4 to 6 hours. And not pepper as an accompaniment to the composition. It's like I've used a pepper mill to grind a generous amount of peppercorns directly on my tongue. It's actually (kind of) funny, because my senses' reactions to this perfume are pretty ridiculous.

What's really frustrating is that after about 20 hours (really), I'm left with a very intriguing dry down. The elemi adds an interesting facet, and the pepper at this time has tired itself out and is just adding a pleasant spicy sensation. 20 hours is a bit long to wait for this stage though I think.

Personal chemistry and perfume can have some interesting and puzzling reactions. I really want to find a way to enjoy this perfume, so perhaps unwisely I'm going to continue experimenting with it. Applying it farther from my nose and tongue next time though. Wish me luck

luluatte

The bottle is so beautiful. The juice smell nice as well, but its too peppery for me. So I'll give it a pass. Hope lolita lempicka will make a flanker that omit the pepper.

Jmalone84

I got a little mini of this one and just say it’s really nice. Light, peppery and gingery with some sweetness. Reminds me actually of Eau des merveilles by Hermès or perhaps one of those Givenchy irresistible perfumes (in the red bottle).

I would recommend this for casual spring summer wear possibly. Projection and longevity not overly impressive. It’s nice!

fgamz

I was expecting something actually spicy. Reading other reviews I was disappointed. I like perfumes with a kick and that has a masculine take. This ends up smelling like a luxury soap. Nothing special to me. Didn't get a pepper, only sweetness. Don't know why people are saying this is strong and spicy bahahahaha that's not what I get.

MichelleMoon

Wow. I knew I liked spicy scents, but this one took pepper to a new extreme. I love it, although I'm surprised that I love it, since it is so intense and unlike anything I've ever smelled. I can imagine there are many people who will be put off by the pepper explosion at the opening. I will hypocritically warn you that it is not a safe blind buy, although I ignored this advice from other reviewers and bought a bottle anyway.

I love Lolita Lempicka fragrances, and although this one is very different from the rest, there's something about it that makes it identifiable as a LL scent. It is not syrupy sweet like many others in their line, but there is a mildly sweet resinous base that rounds out the edges. It definitely has a masculine vibe, which I happen to love.

If you love pepper, this is for you.

Update: just to be clear, when I say pepper, I'm talking about dry black pepper.

Apiaceae

So.... I like it, but I am confused. That packaging does not match the juice. What was made to look classically chic, is actually a spicy, sort of unisex, resinous bomb. Reminds me more of Opium or Fendi Furiosa than anything. A bit sweet, but not straightforward sugar. Not a safe blind buy at all, but beautiful and elegant without doubt ❤️

pakhomovao

It is very good. Lasts all day but in the end becomes much softer. Spicy smell that I catch from time to time. Velvet blanket, very cosy. I like it for office wear.

YesVeruca

I appreciate the comments that this isn’t a safe blind buy and I get that. It’s lacking the sweetness that LL scents usually have and has unexpectednotes for the brand. Like others I agree it’s a spicebomb with the pepper coming out immediately. Except for the marketing, this could easily be unisex or a masculine scent. The Elemi comes out and adds a medicinal note in the end that’s unusual and not unwelcome but doesn’t make it any more accessible. It sits soft and close to the skin after maybe 2 hours. Nothing like the little purple LL apple and seems like something that would fit in the Etat Libre D’Orange library.

Di_berry

So! Finally I bought Si Lolita! What a beautiful bottle is this one.
For the fragrance... I´m falling in love with this one, everything I read here from other reviews it´s true. Super peppery at first, but then... Then it sits on your skin so peacefully, but with a masculine twist.
I´m really getting something here, like a dilluted version of Midnight Poison or something close to that spicy-aromatic-patchouly, but it´s so soft that becomes really comfortable for daily use.

Rose du soir

The spiciness of Si Lolita is no joke. And this comes from someone who loves big spicy bombs like Kenzo Jungle l'Éléphant and enjoys pink pepper heavy scents like Angel EdT (the comet one) or Twilly Eau Poivrée. Si Lolita is floral, sweet, very feminine ; but it's also sharp, raw, unapologetic, it has a big personality. Pink pepper and elemi smell like essential oils, and there seems to be a good dose of cloves here too. Unfortunately, this reminded me of a personal experience : the smell of my dentist's practice. It was all here : the waiting room, the camphorated and sharp disinfectants, and even the rubbery gloves. The lovely sweet floral notes could not tame the medicinal smell. And I have nothing against medicinal scents in general, but when it comes to something reminding me of the dentist, I really can't. Obviously scent perception and skin chemistry are a very personal thing, and Si Lolita certainly doesn't smell like the dentist to most, or it wouldn't have sold well otherwise. I can easily imagine to some people, this strong spicy accord is quite addictive. Unfortunately, it really doesn't work on me. Not a safe blind buy, but I strongly recommend to anyone who likes pink pepper to get a sample of Si Lolita, as it's truly unique.

chinook

The opening smells of candied dates, spices alluding to Tibetan spices and oil, a deep scarlet color. As it warms up, it reminds me of a woman that is attractive but reserved. I smell animalic musk, wood, while the dark sweetness and cooling herbs sing throughout. It’s very unique.

Nicki6089

I don't like the opening but I love the dry down

idolinam

this fragrance very nice smell with Thierry Mugle Angel. Layered with this 2 perfumes is very interesting :)

wolfpup

Oh my gosh this is one of the best perfumes I have ever smelt! It is so gingery and very patchouli but the biggest is totally pepper, but with a lot of bergamot and mandarin. The next note for me after that comes sweet pea and amber which mix into such a beautiful fragrance. I had to choose any perfume in the world and I didn't already have this I would probably choose this. The only problem is that after about ten minutes it turns into a kind of a plastic.

SailorV

Si Lolita definitely stands out from the other Lolita Lempicka scents. They're all sweet and this one isn't sweet at all. It's a pink pepper bomb, dry, spicy and kind of woody (I often get something woody from pink pepper). A lemony note cuts through the dryness and makes the fragrance more fresh and lively. Underneath that lies a strong elemi note that is resinous, but not really warm. I only get a light whisper of a floral and wouldn't have identified this as sweet pea.

To me, this is a fresh spicy, cooling, clean scent. I could imagine that it would work well as a summer scent for those who are into non-sweet orientals. In my opinion it could easily be unisex, too. This is relatively light and doesn't last forever, so it doesn't hurt to spray a little more.
It's pretty enough and certainly a surprise from Lolita Lempicka, but too peppery-cool for me. I would like to try the Eau de Minuit version with more amber and additional vanilla though, that could be right up my alley.

PinkRainbow

This is a sweet, young and carefree scent. The profusion of light flowers and spice spells happiness. Walking through a field in the summer sunshine, smiling at the wonder and beauty of life. The sweet pea note dominates, sweeping the rest of the notes along its path.

jhinampas

I love it...

I own more than 50 perfumes and si Lolita is one of my favorites.

gtabasso

This isn't all that spicey. In the top it is myrrh, cola, sour, citrus, balsamic/elemi. As it dries down the florals present more and the tonka/vanilla, hint of patch.

Alyluz222

This smells exactly like Cover Girl's Clean Pressed Powder, the one in the brown compact that has that Noxzema scent. I really like that slight medicinal powdery scent. Great clean smelling, and unique, subtle everyday type of scent to keep in rotation.

MissButterfly

I have been coming back to Si, Lolita for years.

It opens with a sharp burst of pink pepper, which I adore; makes me feel quite dizzy at that stage. Then it becomes milder, settles down, the pea is lurking around, the tonka beans and elemi add the bitter, earthy taste to Si. Everything is well blended with a hint of patchouli and amber. Lasts about 6 hours, stays around: I feel it when I turn my head. In my opinion the "sweetness" is not dessert-like, more like authentic August flowers (I had the similar impression with Zen Eau de Parfum).

I agree with the opinions below, especially the one about the sunflower field. I can add something there: the scent is hay-ish, dry, makes me think of harvest; late August and early September. But this year I will be wearing it during spring, my least favourite season (sorry) to make it more... spicy. Will wear it during early Autumn as well, because it fits so perfectly to shawls, sweaters and coats; to hot teas, pumpkins, rainy days. Maybe it is because of smoky, balsamic notes. To captivate it all in cute, elegant, parisienne-like bottle...very unusual.

Mysterious, not loud, not obvious, yet sensual.

Crystal clear. Dry. Peppery and sexy, and yes, the bottle is beautiful.

Bee-young-ka

So, what do you wear when its 47 today? (110+)

Well you don't want to clear rooms with heat charged scent.

So bored of minty/cucumber green tea.
please no more summer fruits!

here is a summer staple that should be in every collection of those who live in the heat extremes.

Peppery fresh with a tonne of character.
pink pepper , sweet pea & elemi.

Many of us Italian/Aussie desert dwellers like this.
Sadly Not often in shops here.

"Gold bottle?" (makes butterfly shape with hands)
"Si! Si, & little scarf" (flick scarf over shoulder gesture)

bitna39

It reminds me of a wild field with full of sunflowers.

I personally think people do not like strong smell such as Si Lolita than fresh and light smells, so I do not use during the day time.
However, I just love this smell for my own bedtime.
I do not spray every night but when I do, I really enjoy the smell and makes me feel sexy. Can't stop sniffing so I even leave a drop under my nose, weird?! haha

VioletMingy

Smells like what a mature, somewhat severe business woman in a Victorian-inspired, high-collared blouse and black skirt suit, who might secretly be a dominateix by night would wear.
It’s full, very powerful, rather sexy, and a little bit masculine. It smells like somebody wants to have kinky sex, to be quite honest.
You can’t wear this without arousing.......suspicion of a shiny catsuit and a whip.

snoopyQ

This is a tomboy!
A woman who knows she succeeds on her own. Who is chasing her personal dreams and won´t let them slip away.

This scent is very interesting, spicy and intriguing.
Not your typical fruity floral girly, innocent scent.
The sweetpea in this takes off the spicy edges and calms them.... like someone (spices) who is so driven, so much so that they forget to enjoy the space they are in but have that very close friend (sweet pea) that reminds them that work is not everything in life.

Basically a spicy sweetpea, very unusual and cool.

tigermilk

The pepper in this opening is off the hook awesome! I love the first 3-4 hours of this juice but i can take or leave the dry down.
The end is just a little bit fussy and musty for such a green opening which is takes it from a love to a meh for me.

FloatingOphelia

Very unusual combination. Smelling this in the box I was put off but once I sprayed( idk what possessed me) it became sexy and sweet/ peppery. My friend liked it a lot and asked where I got it. I just tried it on...this is like a cute little dog who has a sassy side. Surprising and not at all typical. I'm not sure any other scent has this combination or anything close.. I'd possibly buy this for cooler weather. The bottle is adorable it has its own tiny scarf!

_christine_

Even the EdP is terribly lightweight - which is good or bad depending on your preferences. After the first peppery blast, Si Lolita is a forgettable skin scent of generic amber and tonka.

Christine Nagel creates many, many fragrances and not all of them are winners. This one is unoffensive, but also a bit uninteresting. It would be a fine choice for someone who isn't terribly interested in perfume and who is looking for an inoffensive, daily wear scent.

Consistent with the house, the bottle is lovely and fun. I wish the fragrance lived up to the captivating and original packaging.

UnearthlyApothecary

I was afraid I wasn't going to like this, but I ended up finding it to be very lovely. Yes it is very peppery at first blast but then the sweet pea drifts into the picture followed by resin, amber and patchouli. There is a slight medicinal vibe (I always love that in a scent for some reason) a tad masculine,I could easily see men wearing it. After it settles for awhile and that wonderful tonka comes into play, Si turns very warm, creamy and comforting.

Mrs. Do Son

I didn't know what pink pepper smelled like before this perfume. I see that note in a lot of scents I like but the note has never been dominant enough for me to pick if out. Pink pepper is heavy here and now I get it. I'm not a fan.

This perfume is pretty but it smells weird. I think the intense pink pepper is really weird and otherwise ruins a beautiful balmy floral. This perfume is soft enough that it wouldn't offend anyone.

I'm glad I bought a sample instead of blind buying the bottle. A $2 sample is easily worth it to learn how to pick out pink pepper.

sandifitzg

lovely scent but after 5 minutes where did it go?

refikama

Si, like sugar'n spice. I love black pepper in all its forms and Si Lolita can be a tribute to the beauty of this spice. And to its role and importance in human history. Bravo, that black pepper persists in every phase, and in lovely changing aspects. Lempicka says that she dreamed of a parisian lady and Si, you can see Lolila in the cities. Lolita goes to the spice market in İstanbul, in a sunny and cool spring day. Only Lolita Lempicka that catches me.

dan.radu

Hisbeloved, you're going to laugh, but wearing Si Lolita I was told that I smell like mustard! =))))) LOL, awkward experience! I think Si Lolita is absolutely beautiful, I don't get the ketchup/mustard thing at all.

Hisbeloved

Alrighty..this is gonna sound strange.. I absolutely love original LL.. but after spritzing my Si Lolita sample on my wrist, my nose started to detect an odor.. I smelled Ketchup! Yes, Si Lolita turned into ketchup on me. :/ And I sooo wanted to love it. I see all the rave reviews, and it does smell lovely before it hits my skin.

Cauda Pavonis

A fairly common but pleasant enough fragrance. I don't know what it is but you've smelled this combo all over the place - a reviewer said it's the pink peppercorn, fruit, and patchouli. Si Lolita has an interesting powdered make-up quality to it, but that's basically it. If you like mainstream fragrances, this is a pretty good one, a little too boring for me, though.

The 100 Days Challenge - Day 28:

The first review of the 2017 is a total affirmation to life: "¡Sí!". It opens up softly and unisex(y) developing into a more feminine spicy scent. Discreet and calm yet exultantly confident in its demure nature. A green light evocative of future rendez-vous and startling synchronicities. Cabalistic.

Today's word: Affirmation.

loilovesperfume

I bought this si lolita eau de parfum 50ml and si lolita eau de toillete 80ml in prestige philppines for a good price. This eau de parfum is not so different to eau de toillete when it comes to scents. They so indentical. Its soapy, clean, and citrusy. At the first time i sprayed it. It gives me nausea. Coz it has a strong blast that i cnt explain. But i give it a try. I wait for a heart notes and dry down. I smell the soapy scents but citrusy. I can detect the pink pepper and bergamot. The dry down is so clean and fresh. Smells like i was from the shower.its very floral also. I cnt smell a sweetness in this one. No cloying whatsoever. Even if the eau de toilete and eau de parfum are very identical. They have a differences to drydown. The eau de parfum is so floral and green but the eau de toilete reminds me of AQUA DIVINA by BVLGARI tht smells like aqua, floral and green.the longevity last for 6 hours on my skin for 1 spray. The sillage is nice coz it conquers the whole house. The bottle is really stunning. A transparent shamrock shape with a golden lining on its shape. I like the ribbon on its neck and also the crown name by si lolita. Its pretty amazing coz it doesnt have a lid. Tht crown that attach in the neck i think symbolized the lid. The box is made from a white cheap cardboard. With a lot of prints. This perfume is for a mature woman. Not for teenage girl.

luxurylover

I used to really like this scent a few years ago, when I got it as a gift. I will go to France soon, do you guys know if it is still sold in drugstores? I would gladly grab a bottle of it.

mishlava3000

Unusual! The hint of sweetpea amidst the pepper is quite intriguing. Lasts well into 7-8hrs and piques the senses. My daughter was complimented by her crush whilest wearing this and so it tells a tale of young love to me. I love that it made her feel pretty and special by sparking a compliment in a very young lad. So sweet.

Anna2025

l bought this because l love La Lolita Lempicka and l loved the bottle some one says lt similar to Ferre which l really really love ...The perfume is normal remind me of some thing l smelled in the past but sure not my Ferre

Well this is update ..... Sorry La Lolita I really love this perfume It's really awesome a Lovely rich scent . I think it's only needs some time to feel its beauty!!

Antonia99

Pepper, some herbs, citrus and very light floral with more pepper. The dry down is pepper and a touch of warmth from the amber and patchouli. It is like nothing I have never smelled before.

LoveJoy22

Uniquely GORGEOUS! At first spray, you get a blast of pepper. But wait for it: The true beauty of this fragrance comes out once the dry-down occurs. . .This is a beautiful & sophisticated peppery milky/creamy luxe soap. There is also an ever so slightly brush of sweetness that you get, but it is not sugar or
fruit! Si Lolita has a therapeutic quality to it that is truly lovely, & is different from anything that I have smelled as of late.

Madrona

I feel like Christine Nagel loves pink pepper. I, for one, struggle with it in perfume and my default stance on it is to be standoffish. The fact that this manages to be a weak like in spite of the pink pepper overdose is thus rather remarkable. It does somehow smell like a Lolita Lempicka fragrance.

Sabretoothkitten

I bought this cheap for the bottle, wasn't too sure about the odd peppery aspect but several men complimented this. Must be sexy/ animalic or something.

Sailor Pluto

What a Strange scent! Very unusual and kind of medicinal. Not a safe blind buy but I respect its originality!

Update: It takes some time to get used to it, but once you have tamed this little monster, it is so pleasant to wear! Fabulously original and addictive!

For The Love of Perfume

Wow, I never expected this.....is it me or do you get a slight tobacco scent after a while...I am quite liking this.

scalene

Opens with a beautiful pepper which sadly doesn't last and gives way to sweetness. I "like" it but not love it. Likely to become my daily scent this fall.

Update: After using it on a daily basis, it grew on me quite a bit. I really appreciate the complementarity of the florals to the spice, and the projection is insane - I won't wear it to class again. Somehow I'm not smelling the sweetness as much anymore, I think my nose is trained enough with Lolita that it started picking up what's in the background.

Overall, can easily be a signature fall scent. Apply moderately.

Bee-young-ka

Both my older Aunts love this, I gave Aunty Lia a half bottle who immediately asked me to purchase a full bottle (they are not of the internet generation) and her sister Maria like it so much I'm ordering her a bottle too.

Fresh not sweet and appealing.

Maybe it's an Italian thing? Si!

gugute

I absolutely love it. It smells fresh and very different from anything else I own, spray it in the morning and it will last all day. Even longer on clothes as I discovered when I got into my car and could smell it quite strongly, only to realise it was the safety belt that must have caught a bit of it two and a half days ago!
Overall, one of my favourites.

GainsbourgFan

Piquant & peppery, this isn't the type of fragrance I naturally gravitate to but I do really love it. It's got a very effervescent quality, like a fizzy cola or more specifically a Dr Pepper. Spicy but sweet, fizzy & herbaceous.

Quite cute & easy wearing during the daytime. I'm in my late 20s and I feel like this suits me very well for a casual daytime fragrance, but would be a bit too youthful for anything more special or during the evening.

blake.lee

Love this! It smells like pepper and honey on me. It has a crisp, herbal sweetness to it I find very unique. It's slightly soapy at the very end and my husband commented it reminded him of an expensive French hand soap his great aunt always put out in her guest bathroom. I think this is a pretty, clean, spicy sweet scent which can be worn by a man or a woman.

Bigsly

To me this could be marketed as unisex, because the peppery quality (and likely the elemi too) is quite strong. There's a kind of watery-textured but indistinct fruit, though not much in the way of florals. It's definitely not too sweet, nor syrupy, nor animalic. Though I'm not usually a fan of strong pepper or elemi, the perfumer did a good job of "taming" those elements without going too far and making them barely perceptible.

Cauda Pavonis

Another quick review: I don't know what to think about this one. I expected it to be fruity on top and warm and ambery during the dry down but it's an interesting cool powder instead. I'm enjoying it.

keydday

I actually bought this because the bottle is so freaking cute! The juice isn't anything to run home and tell mom about.

Gigi The Fashionista

Spicy exotic and sweet are words used to describe this fragrance. I love the look of the bottle but fortunately the scent matches up with it's aesthetic appeal. The scent opens with citrus a detectable mandarin with freshness and sweetness. The fruitiness is there for a while, refreshing but not yet spicy. The sweet pea pops out soon afterward and the heliotrope. The heliotrope is the only detectable flower on me. The rest of the time down to the dry down it's a resinous spicy aromatic and balsamic scent. The patchouli is behind all this. It's what makes this scent stronger and longer lasting. Gorgeous, and very seductive. It's best worn at night and in the fall or winter. I like how this smells in the air as well so I spray it in the air and walk into it. I also enjoy smelling this on some of my girlfriends that I know wear it from time to time. It smells luxurious and classy just as it is still sexy. This can match up with a little black dress or cocktail dress. It's a girl's night out fragrance. I have received compliments only from women when wearing this one. Love it.

Pastelstreets

Totally a fall/winter scent for me.
Reminds me of a nice hot cup of spicy Chai with whipped cream cuddling in front of the fire place watching a movie with your love.
Long lasting on me

Edit: this is my favorite of all the Lolita's.

witchbaby777

The sophisticated sister of anyone who wore Bath and BodyWorks SweetPea in high school. It's youthful, floral, peppery and energetic. I wear this fragrance when I want to feel fun and flirty.

Jernê Knowles

A spiced fragrance and can be behaved, so I define Si Lolita Lolita Lempicka and step to believe that before dying can find everything in this life! Which I imagine to someday find a scent that was spicy and oriental touches, and this aroma could be contained ?! So its output is spicy and citrus, and I must say that I thought I could not stay cool this output because mixing something citrus with oriental spices right away does not seem like a good idea, unless you're in a bar taking some and taking taste, however, this scent this combination gave super right, he was plump his departure, aquecidamente engaging as a warm breeze from the east in the late summer days. Also he does not take to evolve much for your environment, the citrus is go away and remain the spicy notes, I believe that is the pepper, joining a yellow lush floral with resinous nuances that permeate the middle giving stability in floral notes and spices biting the tip of the nose, is one behaved oriental perfume delight referring to a weakness "Lolita" of being that is causing admiration. Its base is also heated, as amber colored and sweetened with resins funds, making it more engaging, although at this stage already quite close to the skin, causing well-being to the wearer. No pump, no crazy lashes aromas or explosion of spices, but rather a perfume that shows limited behavior and perfectly responds to the evolution of their notes step by step volatilization of your progress.

Word of the day: moderate... (day 67)

Matt Abdul

I'm not really a big fans for Spicy accord and I only have 2 perfumes with spicy scent in my collections. Never add a single spicy scent since then.

For spicy scent, I love these two
1) Lovely Sarah J Parker (Soft Spicy)
2) Red Musk Body Shop (Less Nose Tickling Spicy)

But this ? Oh god, the spice just blow me away. It's more soft spicy, and I think the Tonka bean &/Amber really smooth the spicy scent well. Which is great. This will be my 3rd spicy perfume in my collections.

It doesn't smell cheap, it smells very sophisticated & elegant.

mirrorghost

this starts off almost salty (brings womanity to mind. not the scent but the saltiness.) then i realize it becomes more peppery and it's the pink pepper at the forefront. interesting, as i usually think of pepper as a background note. after a few minutes i get some woody florals. i guess it's actually resin and florals, looking at the notes. i like the florals when they are first blooming, but once they begin to dominate the scent, it just isn't my cup of tea.

Vegas Pauli

I like this and I get the masculine references, but I assure anyone who has never tried this not to be alarmed. This is a strictly feminine fragrance. It does start with a peppery kick, but it softens right down to a sweet/spicy almost candy coated scent thats different and complex. The spicy is toned way down by a hard candy powdery sweetness, almost like SweetTarts or Pez candies (maybe it's the sweet pea and citrus combo). But the pink pepper bite never goes away, even in the dry down. This different for sure.
Versatile, can be worn by young or mature, for work or pleasure. You can find this for a steal on line and it in no way smells cheap or generic. Overall I give it a big thumbs up.

ldyausten

@ emo_onigirl...she said "Love this perfume very much. The opening is very balsamic and spicy. Perfectly suited for fall. When it fades it reminds me Eau des Merveilles by Hermes. Very comforting."

She was absolutely right. I blind bought this because I like the original Lolita andI thought, 'what the heck'. I sprayed it before bed which is what I tend to do with a new scent. ( If it goes really wrong I won't be as embarrassed ). I woke up and sniffed myself thinking..." This smells amazing, what was it I put on last night?" I completely forgot at that point I tested a new one. This is a dead ringer for Hermes Merveilles, at least on my skin. It smells the best to me after at least an hour on the skin, preferrably on freshly showered and warm skin to speed up the scent development process. This smells, classic, edgy, clean, modern and magical all at the same time. The citrus and patch on my skin are very balanced with a low hum of pink peppercorns in the background making it sexy and distinct .

Anyhow, I'm not currently working as I'm back in school at an advanced age. I still have a craving for very wonderfully crafted scents though. This does not disappoint. Will be buying several back ups.

Yowza!

ParfumAmour

This is spicy hot, very peppery, very savory. It has a slightly medicinal background, it is unusual, especially compared with the average florals.
I like it, but I will rarely wear it. I get cloves, strong pepper, a bitter tang, it would make a good seasoning!

Aredore

I tried Si Lolita years ago when it was part of the regular Sephora lineup. I remembered a curious spicy/sweet perfume that part of me regretted not buying. I got lucky at Marshall's today and found a lone bottle of this unopened and marked down.

Si Lolita is the fresh, bracing sister in the Lolita Lempicka feminine lineup. Built upon the same structure of contrasting dual accords of Floral/Sweet and Resinous/Herbal/Bitter that made the original Lolita so good and so unique even 20 years later, Si swaps out the anisic herbal accord for a double dose of refreshing pink pepper and the moody violets for irrepressible sweet pea. Notes of patchouli and elimi resin - a balsamic note on the lighter, creamier side of Myrrh, Frankincense, and Opoponax, - keep the super sweet florals in-check and the pink pepper party going all the way to the dry down. The final phase is a bitter, dirty amber. Sweet but sharp, Friendly and strong-minded, Si Lolita is a youthful revival of the resinous perfumes of old.

While the bottle and marketing are aggressively girly, this fragrance exposes the fundamental silliness of arbitrarily gendering smells. Guys, girls, and gender non-conformers looking for an unconventional daytime fragrance that won't read on the male/female binary should give this one a test. You might have a new favourite!

tittertat

I had this a long time ago and I wish I could find it again. It was unique and kind of shocking at first but dried down to something sexy. Men loved this scent on me.

AlexGargoyl

Lovely spicy-sweet scent for a playful, girly and romantic mood, in a beautiful bottle. It has that certain 'fairy-tale' note I've spotted in other Lolita Lempicka fragrances, different yet unmistakable. What I could sense most was alternating pink pepper and sweet pea, a fun and sensual combination, adaptable to most circumstances.

spoco

I have a gift set of samples (2010) and a 50 ml bottle (2014).
Surprisingly, from the samples I can smell mostly pepper, while the scent in a bottle is less peppery and more resinous. I didn't expect there to be much difference but frankly I'm glad there is. I actually prefer the new version and it's lasting power is much better (~10 hours).

Overall it's a great fragrance, very resinous, slightly peppery and quite masculine. I'm surprised it's not marketed as unisex.

giokaal

Amazing artistic bottle!!!! The scent is not that good I m afraid ,for me there is nothing so special about this fragrance!!!! I tend to choose perfumes that have a living soul!!!!! A rich personality of their own !this one on the other hand reminds me of the people that are so neutral so they can fit with just everyone!!!!
I just sprayed a testing paper liked the peppery opening and bought it on a very low price!
Ok it's good to have it on my selection as another lolita fragrance but I sure have to layer it multiple times with others so I can achieve the depth and weirdness i m used to!!!!
A little personal favorite : I spray it over some TM Angel body cream!!!! As I do so Angel's top
Notes shine and last longer and Si lolita base gets infused with the well known sweet gourmet base of the magnificent Angel (if you spray it over the EDP version of angel you ll just end up smelling nothing but angel)
It also blends well with lolita lempicka's clasic lolita lempicka eau de parfum makes it more masculine!!!!!!

Thanks
G.

I got this as a present a few years ago and every once in a while I'll spritz some to see if I've change my mind about it.

I just don't care for it; it's way too spicy and peppery for me. My nasal passages actually hurt when I smell this fragrance. And when it settles down there's nothing about the scent that appeals to me.

Like other reviewers have said, I get a unisex vibe from this perfume which is surprising considering how feminine the bottle is.

Chelsea1605

I can't make my mind up about this one. Wearing it for the first time properly after just quickly testing it. Thankfully it's only a small sample I have and not a full bottle.

It smells very unisex to me. I get a peppery, citrussy, amber scent. The longevity isn't fantastic on me either, i got about 1 hour before it became a skin scent and after 3 hours i can no longer smell it.

It is nice but I don't think it's working on me as i'm not blown over by it.

BooVaher

I avoided this one for a while. The bottle is so hideous.
But after receiving a sample and trying it, I will be certainly keeping this one in my stable. Albeit hiding the bottle so I don't have to look at it.

At first application I got nothing and I thought to myself, "nothing to smell here, move along"... and then the peppery goodness started to warm and blossom and I was completely taken aback at how fresh and spicy it is. I am surprised there is no star anise listed as I do get a hint of it with the spice.

It isn't strong or overpowering (my skin tends to suck perfume dry quickly) but it is persistent and although it dries down to a creamy yummy scent, the pepper stays throughout.

Certainly a keeper.

TRIIRIS94

Unfortunately,not proper for my skin.After 15 minutes i smell absolutely...nothing.

Wysteria

I have some samples of this and I can't make up my mind about this one. I thought this one was going to blow me away but it didn't. At least not right away.

The description on this page suggest it's feminine, subtle and ethereal. On me it's neither of those. It's definitely not typically feminine but rather unisex. I don't think it's subtle either because of the peppery spicyness, but it is soft/ smooth. I tend to like unisex and peppery and spicy scents so it's not a bad thing.

On me it's mostly spices, pepper, balsamic and ambery notes. It's not a show stopper but it is a soft, smooth and very warm scent. The more I wear it the more pleasant I find it. It stays quite close to my skin so its a good everyday scent. For now it's a like for me but it could be that I will start to love it if I use it more often. I think I will buy a small bottle because I might not love it yet but it's very, very unique

jana.hullinghorst

I got this one for myself, and ended up giving it to a male friend. I compliment him every time he wears it! Smells incredible on his skin. Highly unisex scent.

Everline

Dun like d initial spray cuz it s all pepper, not a fan of it mayb..
But dry down is super nice thou.. Js wish d beginning part is as impressive as d ending..
However, bottle is pretty , adding to my perfume collection , it does look outstanding.

MrsTefee

I do not like this. When sprayed on my skin all I got from this was alcohol and pepper! Ill pass! I could imagine it smells nice on others though!

Bee-young-ka

Si Lolita?
YES!
I really love a different perfume and again Lolita' delivers.

The Patch in this comes across the same as in Westwood's LET IT ROCK kind of wish washy mild airy patch but the peppery notes really bring the magic in this lovely summer perfume.

Very Fresh, but no way would I call this water floral peppery number unisex.
and I love unisex, this peppery flower mix is all Feminie

the little scarf on the bottle makes me think Sofia Loren!

Nicoscent90

Received this as a gift from my sister. After spritzing for the first time I get an immediate unisex vibe from it. I can't say I'm a lover of this fragrance but if you enjoy pink pepper or peppery vibes to your scents then this fragrance is definitely for you! I have to say my boyfriend enjoyed this scent more than I did!

hdmc_2000

Not too bad. Starts off peppery, but then drys down to a clean masculine soapy smell. Not overpowering or offensive.

christianne1

PEPPER party!! This is a pink pepper bomb!! Wow, way more pepper than I would have expected from Lolita Lempicka. I have had the sample forever but never tried it because I imagined it would be a very safe mainstream smell, I imagined of very delicate, sweet and floral and it is NOTHING like that! As others have said, it is very unisex. The initial 15 minutes is almost all pepper but once it settles down it is really nice! I'm surprised I like it as much as I do. But of you are not a fan of pepper STAY AWAY because this is absolutely loaded with it. Glad I decided to give my old dusty sample a try. I would absolutely buy this.

LEXIE

Just bought my second bottle, £18 for 80ml. Seemed like a great deal considering its one of my favourite perfumes. I'm drawn to masculine scents, spicy and balsamic notes therefore this is a heavenly creation that never gets boring. I haven't smelt it for a while but as soon as I opened it and sprayed it I knew why I have always liked it.its definitely an egdy scent, not for teenagers or ones who don't understand it. You have to like spice to get on with this bad boy. I find it very sexy and comforting. Love, love, love !!!

chickincanada

I've tried very hard to like this, but sadly it reminds me of an old man on me. Something old and masculine, it obviously doesn't work with my chemistry. I have a 90% 30ml bottle in its box up for swap if anyone's interested.

deda147

This easily could have been marketed as a unisex fragrance. It's discontinued, but I can seem to understand why.
It opens up juicy thanks to the citrus notes, but quickly turns into a rather intense peppery affair. The pink pepper is all over the place and combined with the elemi it gives a spicy, warm impression. The only floral note to show up between this spicy duo is the sweet pea, which gives it a slight sweet, floral tinge. The heliotrope and wallflower are overshadowed by the other notes though. The opening and midnotes don't last really long - the tonkabean soon takes over on my skin. it becomes really syrupy, typically 'masculine sweet'; from this point on you could consider it some general masculine designer scent. The patchouli and amber provide some balance and backdrop to the tonkabean. The drydown seems just 'okay' to me: it's mainly tonkabean with a slight whiff of the pepper/elemi and a bit of patchouli and amber.

Alisha76

Peppery gourmand

After reading several reviews I was looking forward to a spicy, peppery, unique perfume.
I can't believe how much of a sweet gourmand this is! Anything interesting disappears after a couple of minutes and it's just sweet vanilla, a little floral, a shake of pepper. Again.
It's not for me but if you like sweet gourmands, it might be for you.

leighsie

The first time I tried it, I initially hated how masculine the bergamot was. But I bought it after I smelled the amazing dry down, I love the spicy floral notes that are strong on me. One of my favorites in the winter

scentist

This is the same scent - on me - as the scent of a sawmill- wonderful, refreshing but would I use it - I don't know.. If I met someone wearing this I would think: how cool and original!

Nikkafragrance

Initially Si smells like cola and pepper on me. It's a very unusual perfume, not for everyone. The elemi resin is very prominent and actually I don't like it. After awhile the scent settles into a pleasant veil of white florals. Si is a nice fragrance for night - flirty, yet mysterious. The longevity is not what I expected - within an hour it turns into a skin scent.

epiphany

Si Lolita is a delicious, light, slightly unusual fragrance. It starts in a halo of sweet, flowery fruitiness. Then the pepper begins to come to the fore - I get a really warm, peppery *sensation* along with the fragrance - it's a very visceral thing that I've never really experienced with a perfume before now. On the dry down, the pepper mellows somewhat to a beautiful peppery sweet pea. It's light, unusual & inoffensive. This would be perfect for work or day time wear.

mrsg34

I quite like this one, the bottle is girly but don't be deceived! It isn't a sweet offering but very peppery and very wearable. I could quite happily wear this at work it is a day time scent for me as I tend to like heavier scents but this is quite lovely.

margarita.angelova

Adorable perfume, very, very peppery! The most peppery one I know of; it's definitely a gourmand - smells so much like food to me. It's really interesting, even unique and the bottle is a piece of art. It's not as sweet as you'd expect from Lolita Lempicka, actually it's unisex.
A precious everyday delight.
I'm adding it to my wish list.

mschnabel666

I am obsessed with Lolita Lempicka after wishing I could drink the original. I had a sample of Si and just couldn't like it.... But... a large new tester on ebay is around $21, and I like the bottle.... and I'm a perfume addict.... So I grabbed a large EDP.

I like it. Wearing it is an adventure, I don't LOVE it but I'm always excited to see how it plays on my skin. I'm in a warm/cold (sometimes humid, sometimes snowing!) Michigan climate and I really enjoy the drydown. I haven't worn this enough to know what to expect, it's a quality, unique perfume.

I do get a peppery powder floral. I'm a gourmand freak, however. I don't get individual notes, just a cloud of perfume that changes and I like that.

Today I did two sprays of Si, and about 1 hour later, 2 of Hanae Mori to sweeten things up. It works! I get the spicy powder of the Si but the creamy vanilla/sweet gourmand of the HM. Love!
I also want to layer this with the peppery sweet of Black XS for Her by Paco Rabanne.

Kristina25

Si is a charming little oddball. Do not go expecting any flouncy girly freshness. The bottle is a trick! This is a spicy, balsamic floral with a zingy citrus twist. It's edgy, flirty and slightly androgynous, like wearing your boyfriend's shirt with a slick of red lipstick. It smells gorgeous on skin after half an hour and the notes fizzle up and play on each other. "Ooh, peppery sweet pea!...hmm, getting warmer...Oh hello patchouli!"

Surprising, unique fragrance. A wildcard in a sea of recent pink pepper perfumes.

nlinhmeow

This is a true fragrance to me. It has been my favorite for even a formal date for years and it will still be.

GlitterEverything

First spray I get alcohol and mouthwash. After a minute or so in comes a lemony cleaner scent, I'm guessing that's the Elemi though I've never smelt it so strongly before. Sugary flowers Si Lolita is not and definitely not my normal cup of tea, but I am not hating it, if anything I find it interesting so I will continue along to see where this party ends up.

15 minutes it's soapy. And smooth. But unlike other soapy frags I've smelt, this one is sort of nice.

Getting a hint of spice, the pink pepper perhaps. It's not my normal type of perfume at all but so far I would consider wearing it. For me it would be for something like spending a day out back at the pool, having friends over for a BBQ in the evening and then going in to take a shower after everyone has gone. When you're exhausted from the day, but in a good way and it's still hot outside. Si Lolita would be something I would put on to help stay cool and relaxed before bed.

I am really enjoying this perfume and may even have to keep a bottle in my collection. It is so out of the norm of what I usually wear yet I really like it a lot! I also feel that this could work quite well on a man as I don't get hardly any "sweet" with it, but again, that could just be my skin, YMMV. :)

Gosha

The first breath of Si Lolita has left me with my eyes and my mouth wide open. Such an unusual blast of (soft) spicy cleanliness, such a soapy pink pepper bubble! Quite eccentric, really, but fragile too! It instantly reminded me of Salvador Dali's Laguna, not because of their similarity (although they do share a few notes...but no...they are not alike), but because of the total "unexpectedness". This fragrance completely stands out of the avalanche of today's scents.
Si Lolita is sparkling and lively with a touch of blossoms and gentle balsamic sweetness (and here the nursery rhyme "sugar and spice and all things nice" really does pop to my mind) and although I experience it as a feminine fragrance, it does have a bit androgynous edge too. Si Lolita doesn't last on me, but still - it's so lovely. Absolutely lovely!

maxi___213

Would anyone like to trade? My bottle is 75% full. Will trade for anything.

Oh Si Lolita, my newest love! I admit to being attracted to the beautiful bottle first, but was seduced by the peppery notes she offers. I blind bought a bottle, and was thrilled with the results on my skin. Yes, there are a lot of peppery scents out there...but this one is distinctive. I would be able to smell it on someone and think ah, Si Lolita is in the house! I love how it is not cloying sweet but a gentle caress of mandarin. Wonderful.

lotus and jasmine

Do you ever get tired of scents that smell the same? Si Lolita doesn't. The notes in the pyramid above say pink pepper, but I do not detect the rosey scent of pink...instead SL opens with a puckishly intense black pepper accord. Charmingly abrasive, refreshing, odd.

SL is confounding at first. Why would anyone want to smell like black pepper? But...you keep sniffing yourself. Over time, the pepper remains, but drifts of sweet pea, heliotrope, and juicy mandarin catch your attention...

Where are they coming from? You sniff your wrist, and it's still crisp, dark pepper. But that sweetness lingers around you, behind you, where ever you least expect it. Si Lolita sneaks up on the wearer. You'll fall in love with her, after you get to know her. Cinnamon, is not listed, but can be found, anise, clove, and fenugreek as well. Surprisingly bright, given the potential darkness of the accords...but that's the point, right?

But on first acquaintance? She's really not what you expect. Particularly not from a brand known for sweet scents. And why would ANYONE create a perfume that smells like black pepper?

Think Audrey Hepburn. Think flying monkeys. Think of the most gloriously unexpected sights you have ever encountered. An elegance comprised entirely of parts that should not harmonize.

Si Lolita is the Pablo Picasso of perfume, the cubist blue, the scent that is too simple to be true. The unexpected, but much anticipated. the Cirque du Soleil of perfume.

Addictive.
Superlative.
Intoxicating.
Invigorating.
Almost too good to be true.

New today for me. A green peppery beginning calms down to a lovely floral. This has some staying power which pleases me. The price is right and the bottle is charming. I'm happy with this new purchase.

kwietok25

What a nice surprise it is! I would have never tought I will like it so much... Oh no, it wasn´t love at first sniff. It took me two days but now I´m hooked.
I don´t know what it is... Maybe its´ spiciness or that pharmacy part that makes it so special but it works for me.
Well done! And for the price as well <3

marenanne6

This opens very strong with the pink pepper. I thought it would be too spicy to be considered feminine but the dry-down gets sweet and cozy, almost akin to a sweet-bread smell. It certainly does have an ethereal touch and I quite like it, though it's not a favorite.

Narkus

The first time I wore this, I wasn't quite sure about it; second time was love. The elemi was what I had to adjust too, very herbal and resinie, and I like it! The pink pepper is strong for a few moments but settles and blends with the elemi and persists as the patchouli and bergamot enter with the sweet pea--very nice and different. The dry down is amber, tonka, faintly floral, maintaining the herbal edge of the Elemi. Respectible silage and longevity. I am so glad I wore this twice more before attempting a swap as it's warm, lightly sweet and deep. A good blind buy at a great price, not to mention how lovely the bottle is. I like the herbal undertone, not used to experiencing it with these other notes.

Oamae

Ah this one was too spicy and peppery for me to enjoy, let alone ever want to wear.
The opening is very spicy, sharp. It is like smelling pepper, some citrus fruit and there is some sort of medicinal smell lingering along? It reminds me of Vick's vapor rub. Maybe a kind of cologne almost?? I really do not like it.

The sharpness mellows out as it settles onto my skin, and becomes balsamic. The pepper is so sharp and that is what killed it for me. The dry down is much sweeter, warm, friendly. I can smell the LL in it finally. I feel like without that medicinal, sharp smell along with pepper, this one would be very generic smelling, but to me, it is unique. But as someone who loves very sweet scents, this is such a turn off!

This is definitely not my kind of fragrance.

chjena

Perfect autumn perfume - frosty forest with a bit of pepper and sweetness of resin. Very spatial and mysterious, quite mature, but suitable also for younger women. One of my favourites.

Sleek Geek Chic

blindly bought at tj maxx. i own lolita lempicka lolita lempicka and really liked it so had to swoop the only bottle there. soooooo glad. it's better than the first lolita i bought. it does smell similar but si lolita is softer and warmer. the licorice and cotton smell is much more muted.

i wish it had a real cap though. oh and the initial spray is very spicy and peppery but as always, wait five minutes. so pretty!

817flowers

Just blind bought this at Marshall's. I love it - the scent has many facets,I would say not sweet, just seems to have many changes. I am not good with distinguishing all the variations, so I can't really describe it as others seem to when reviewing a scent. On me it is very lasting even though at first I thought not. A wonderful surprise.

Shinymouse

First of all, sorry for my english, chaotic english. Well, I sprayed it on my wrist and I gave it for smelling to my boyfriend, he told me that it smelled like "those yellow HB graphite lead pencils". What?!? I smelled it again and... he was right! Minutes later, he said that it started to smell like a rubber, and, my God, I have discovered that my OH is a genius. I love him, how couldn't I? Too much pink pepper for me for now, I'm going to let this settle... and

Edited few hours later, about five or so: pink pepper has subsided, pencil and rubber still around, all mixed into a sweet patchouli wrapped faint murmur. The truth is I can not deny that it's something nice, although I remain unconvinced. My boyfriend likes it, actually. He told me that he liked it from the beginning, that thing with school material was not a negative review, it was a real perception "as the top of a pine tree" (spanish expression, it means something like "huge"), but he liked it. I must say that I sprayed it on my left wrist and, on the right one, I sprayed "L de Lolita", with the result that, at this time, "L" is held three times more intense than "Si".

hellok

This is a spicy, odd, mess on me. I thought I'd like it, but I haven't been able to grow to like it, no matter what I do. The bottle would lead you to think it's quite youthful, girly, and feminine, but it's actually quite a unisex and spicy thing. Very unusual and unfortunately not for me.

RosieRachel

Si Lolita is a lovely uplifting fragrance that's quite unusual, charming and well-blended. I think that this perfume would be the perfect companion for the colder months.

On my skin, this was harsh at first thanks to the citrusy top notes, until lots of skipping pink pepper emerges. This is followed by a dry, resinous and very powdery spicy-floral of which the dry-down is a lighter version. The patchouli gives the composition a bit of earthiness, amber gives warmth, and the tonka bean is what makes this powdery. Sillage is soft to moderate; lasted for about 6-7 hours on me (a few hours more than the EDT).

I have now tested both the EDP and EDT. The EDT is lighter, fresher as it has more floral accords, is less sweet and less peppery. Both are lovely but I do prefer the EDP as I find that it has more pepper and personality :)

PerfumePatty

Si Lolita works with my chemistry really well! I was surprised, because other Lolita perfumes did not work for me, but this one is different from the others. On me, the peppery opening lasts only a minute. Then it dries down to a very soft feminine scent with a touch of fresh balsam, reminiscent to me of that old Herbal Essence shampoo from the 1970's. It's very soft, and doesn't have much sillage at all on the drydown, but I like soft scents, I don't like strong, overpowering scents. It's a keeper for me - and the whimsical bottle looks so pretty on my perfume shelf!

tittertat

Love this one, sadly don't have it anymore due to a bottle which leaked :( Would love to have it again, the spray of the lotion.
If anyone has it and wants to swap please PM me I have a few items to offer .

ScarlettX

Very very nice sweet floral, citrusy and peppery scent! There's a little bit of everything. I really like this composition.
It has a very special scent, I think it stands out easily.
Feminine, sexy and sweet, but still quite simple.
I love how bergamot smells like in tropical tea and the sweetness of tonka bean and patchouli. I am not familiar with elemi note, but if that is how it smells, I sure it's fantastic!
A great one for winter!

Stampinator

I love this... does anyone else smell fresh tobacco? (maybe it's just the pink pepper i'm smelling here). It kind of reminds me of an old tobaccanist shop I use to visit with my mum when I was a little girl- shaved wood in glass cabinets displaying wooden pips, small wooden drawers containing fresh tobacco. It is a very faintly flowery and a little bit winter spicey citus sweet - very elegantly so. This smells very interesting, comforting and familiar and original to me - all at once. I actually also think this would smell very yummy on a man too. Beautiful to wear on a rainy day. I really hope that the rumors of this being discontinued are all lies. Such a good smell!

swampgirlie

My first lolita disappointment. On my skin it's a smack in the face of sharp (loud)soap combined with nose tickling pepper. I literally get the urge to sneeze. My chemistry definitely not compatible with this fragrance. I'm so sorry lolita Im thinking maybe this relationship won't work. Just kidding. Elle liame has seduced me ....lock stock and barrel.
#lolita4life

rkirkman

This is a gorgeous perfume, that reminds me a lot of a Body Shop perfume my Mum used to wear when I was younger. On my skin the bergamot and the pepper are the most noticeable notes. Like most Lolita Lempicka fragrances this is a perfume with a lot of floral or fruity notes which manages to avoid being too girlish or run of the mill thanks to the incorporation of those spicy notes.

lirael00

One of my top 3 fragrances of all time. I love Lolita Lempicka I love how much effort is put in a design of their bottles , not to mention the smell itself. Si Lolita is my favourite Lolita Lempicka fragrance. I love the red pepper in the opening and how nicely this scent develops over the day. Everyone who smelled it on me always had only positive things to say. Sillage and longevity are both great. This perfume has been made for the princesses with an attitude. Maybe it can be a turn off for the people who don't like spicy fragrances because if you're very sensitive you will probably start sneezing soon. But I'm not, so I can easily wear it. It's such an uplifting experience wearing this. Pure joy!

Bloodlust

I don't know what the heck an Elemi resin is, but I think it's the mastermind of this delicious perfume!

Si Lolita is "business casual" in fragrance form. Polished and put together, but not overdone. Has a presence, but isn't overbearing. Polite, but commanding.

I got this fragrance in a blind-swap, and I have never been so shocked to love something so much right away! DELIGHTFUL! The opening is pure peppery goodness - almost a bit thick and dusty, feels a bit antiquey and old-timey!
But then in a few moments you get to this GORGEOUS drydown! Peppery, sweet, smooth, silky - hard to even describe, or compare to another scent, because it stands alone. This has the same type of feel as a sheer Chanel Chance, with it's fuzzy comfort but sophisticated appeal, mixed with the peppery fizz of a department store fragrance department.

A winner!

lemonjasmine

I blind-ordered a mini of the EDP a few days ago and was so disappointed at the first sniff. Smelling it from the bottle, it was super peppery, super resin-y, almost like a strong chemical bug spray or hair spray. I put it on my shelf and forgot about it for a few days, then decided I'd finally try it out.

Yeah, the initial smell is horribly strong and artificial. But the dry-down on this is amazing. It stays close to the skin; it definitely isn't overpowering. It lasts just a few hours. Lots of floral, lots of citrus. The pepper fades quite a bit. It dries into something beautiful. I couldn't stop smelling my wrist later in the day. It's a really nice perfume.

EDIT: The more I wear this, the less I like it, actually? You might have to limit yourself to special occasions with this one.

bonnie52

Oh WOW! I absolutely LOVE this perfume! it is very different than any other I have. Pink Pepper and bergamot with sweet pea. I can't really pick out the other notes given. It is just beautiful! I wish it lasted longer; that's my one and only complaint.

llburris

Last month I ordered a splash size bottle of this and fell in LOVE! It was so sweet to me and sat well on my skin. I kept reading "pepper" and seeing pink pepper as the dominant note for this scent and was perplexed. So, I go ahead and order a bigger bottle that I can spray on.........Nooooooow I get the pepper. That's all I can smell :o( Wow. What a dissapointment. I'm going to give it some time to go through the layers and see if it changes to something I will/can enjoy. If not, I'll have a 2.7oz bottle for swap in the U.S. Wish me luck!

***************

Update: I gave it about an hour to settle down a little. It still has a pink pepper dominance but is so much softer now. It is intriguing. The soft sweetness I smelled in the splash version is buried in there now. The pepper has calmed to let the other notes kind of shine through. It keeps making me draw my hand up to my nose to see where it has gone now. Hmmmmmmmmmmm............

Maslina

Beautiful bottle, gorgeous smell, affordable price . But stay shorter time. But I dont bother to reapply many times. Love the different scent here

wistfulmaiden

This is very girly yet sassy, floral with pink pepper and an unusual scent that isn't similar to any other perfumes Ive had. I had it for a while and swapped it, but I may get it again one day. My husband really loved it :)

Lumiere

This perfume is one of the most unusual ones I have tried recently.
What is has: it is quite strong and lasting, very fresh, peppery. In fact, it is so fresh that it reminds me, in a very good clean and crisp way, of a tooth-paste or a good washing powder, crispy white bed-linen, and subtle crisp wind drying the washed linen. Then, next, distant flowers. This perfume can be sophisticated, I imagine an urban girl/woman, in some stylish jacket, catching a train from the suburban Paris (or any city of your choice) to her place of work or study. She is used to it, she knows where they serve good coffee, she knows which clubs are cool, and she is used to the urban life so that she does not pay attention at the crowd around. She is confident. Or, she can be a housewife, refined, neat, wearing a white shirt to go to see that latest art exhibition.
What it does not have: Si is not ozonic or lush floral, it is not warm either.

As unusual as it is, you may want to try this experience. My favourite ones from Lolita Lempicka so far are L de Lolita, and I also use the original Masculine.

ohrite

This is liquor! It smells exactly like Jägermeister to me. When one was too young to buy alcohol oneself, we always stole from everyones parents' bottles to make these Witches brews, and they ALLWAYS contained Jägermeister. Not just one time these concotions made you sick. They were totaly poisonous! But never failed to get you drunk. xD I guess my point is, while this perfume really does bring back wonderful memories of carefree days, I don't want lets say, my coworkers to think I'm having drinks before work. :) So I think I'll save it for nights out, or try it again in wintertime.

javaholic

The pink pepper is strong and seems to dominate. Sensual smokey incense later, unusual. The bottle is really lovely.

Cerise Noire

I find it really boozy and very sweet. I thought I'd find something like rum in the ingredients. The smell definitely made me think of fruit liqueurs maybe, like Amaretto or something.

celebrity89

Exact replica of XOXO Kunalini, except more expensive. Same old wooden box scent.

Hollie

With this one,I'm nearly anosmic.I can barely detect it for some reason. I know it's there but I strain to make sense of what little I'm smelling. Pencil shavings? Menthol? Something sweet?? If I could smell it...really smell it..I might be intrigued.I am a fan of other LL perfumes. This is the only one so far that I have this kind of trouble with. Received in a trade a half-full, or so,bottle with lotion in the cute, little cardboard wardrobe. Would be interested in trading in the U.S. if anyone is interested.

Beccaru

Is it just me or does this smell like Haribo cola bottle jellies?

Chantal

Frustrated almost beyond words.

It's beautiful, intriguing, interesting, warm, sweet, FUN. And it's gone within an hour. I thought at first, maybe it's just my nose. Maybe I'm too close to it and can't smell it any more after a while. Not so. Apparently, it truly is just gone after an hour. I am really so painfully disappointed! I love this, and it just... won't stay. It's an eau de Parfum! I don't understand!

Weeping & sniffling...

C.

Update on the actual smell, it's hard to pinpoint, but I think I'm getting flowers, sweets, spices and, strangely enough, copper. I really like it.

Cassiano

The fragrances of this brand are known for being intense, those that disturb the others, without mercy, always with good projection and longevity.

In 2009, Si Lolita was released in Eau de Parfum concentration, inspired by the Baroque style, in addition to the Parisian culture and nature. The box was inspired by a fabric created by Lolita and the bottle, shaped like a four-leaf clover, was thought to be a jewel, almost a lucky charm, which still brings a handkerchief around the neck, in the purest glamour. It is a floral-oriental, with some spices, composed around the sweet pea flower, which is natural of Sicily and only blooms once a year.

Si Lolita EDP Contains output notes of pink pepper, bergamot, and Mandarin; wallflower (mustard family), sweet pea blossom and Heliotrope, in the heart; elemi, amber, patchouli, and tonka bean, in its base.

The big surprise is that this fragrance is entirely changeable. It can present floral, spicy, medicinal or sweet nuances depending on the skin. When Si Lolita EDP came to the market, pleased a lot for being less "aggressive" than the other fragrances of the brand, winning many female fans. Moreover, became known for its unisex aspect, since some women found that the scent was more masculine than feminine. Most of the women agree with the presence of pepper, which is very strong, going to a floral heart and with a sensual and often medicinal aspect, thanks to the elemi notes. On the other hand, on men skins, the result tends to be different, with an output rich in pepper, a slightly floral evolution and a base of dry aspect and with nuances of cinnamon, a result of the vanilla accord of Heliotrope in conjunction with the patchouli, which can result in a bitter, chocolate or dry accord.

Within what I have already met until today, I would say that this perfume makes an ideal pair with Jaipur (Boucheron) and is very suitable for the colder days of autumn, that anticipate the arrival of winter.

arod

It doesn't last for an Eau de Parfum. No sillage. Spicey. It is worth only the beautiful bottle!

ryanhuynh

The opening with citrusy note make me feel really pleased. Few minutes after I can feel the peppery note on my wrist yaaa. I wanna say I love it, it's really diffrent and the bottle is really cute too. I love it. But the long lasting is not better than Lolita ogrinal

Blue wolf

I'm an artist, and I was attracted first to Lolita L's bottles; they're so wonderfully quirky and playful. And I love purple.
This is the first of the line that I tried, and it is an apt juice for the bottle. I didn't know there was pepper as a top note until I checked the notes later. Spicy scents are my fav, and this is well blended so that the patchouli, elemi resin, and bergamot don't fight but serve as a raft for the lighter notes to float upon. The flowers are also a nice balance; I love sweet pea but here it is not dominating. I have never smelled wallflower, I think it was added just for its name, lol. I have smelled heliotrope blooms on the plant, and thought its been a while I remember it as a full, rich deep scent. The pepper pops up now and again just as a reminder that its there while I wait for the amber and tonka bean to show up, I think it may take a while. Maybe the amounts are small to just add that lovely rich smoothness.
I really like this, so often flankers are blankers. Pity it's been discontinued.

SumoTigerCat

Being a lover of strong spicy oriental knock-you-over type fragrances, I took a gamble on LL Si. Mostly because I want to find pepper in fragrances that will work on me. I had and was crazy about (initially) Caron Parfum Sacre, but the pepper in it ended up killing our love affair.:( Since I've been getting into "newer" 'fumes in addition to the older and vintages that I love, this is one that intrigued me. So, I got it. And boy, I am really enjoying the heck out of it! The pink pepper is so smooth. All the other notes fit nicely with it. I'm not sure what the Elemi Resin is, or does, but it seems to be sort of magical. I've not smelled anything really similar to this... and so, I say "Si, Lolita!!!"

Chantal

A. Rose 123,

I 100% agree with you. If you're going to produce a fragrance, and you have enough confidence in it that you are putting it out in the first place, why can't you just commit to the release? I'm talking to YOU, makers of recently-released perfumes. I mean, I almost don't even want to try a new perfume until I know it's not going anywhere (I know, this creates a self-fulfilling prophecy of failure on the market, because people have to be buying the perfume in order for it to have enough demand to warrant its continued production, but I think many of you know how I feel). It's heartbreak to fall in love with a perfume that's about to be discontinued and never made again. All I can say is, if you're worried about this one, stock up and keep it in the fridge. It will last over a decade, maybe two. Fingers crossed, fumies.

Ahlamsarah

My sister passed it to me since she doesn't stand strong perfume. As i like spicy perfume, i really liked it even though the pepper is really prominent in this one, i feel the word that describes this perfume is BITTER, if you don't like spicy perfume, it's not for you.

PrincessWillow

So in love with this fragrance!! The soft aroma that lingers on the skin for hours after is magical!!

lesgalaxies

Honestly, I don't know how I feel about this yet.. another complicated Lolita!! I found it waaaayyy too sweet at first, almost like pink bubblegum or pepto x: now I'm catching the distinction between the pepper, resin, florals, and powder I'm picking up on.. it feels very familiar. However I can't remember the last time I smelled this on anyone.. so maybe it's something tied to my memory that wasn't necessarily a perfume somebody was wearing, but something else? Make up and an unlit clove cigarette?

Either way, I'm intrigued and impressed by its mystery.. who is this Lolita?

lonestarlola

I got my mini bottle in the mail today and I'm very happy. After trying a few of the Lolita line and having disappointing, meh, and pretty-good results with my chemistry(the original, Fleur de Corail and L de Lempicka, respectively), I've finally found the one for me.

This one is peppery patchouli at first sniff - good start. There's something unusual going on, which I'm assuming is the elemi, which I don't have experience with. There's a slightly green, ginger-like pungency to it once it dries down a bit and the floral notes come forward and soften things up. But always pepper. I like pepper, and this has it in spades. It's tempered by the tonka bean and the amber and patchouli gives it some depth. It's an unusual scent, spicy and rather saucy. Cheeky, but classy. The bottle is a good visual representation of what you get. It makes me think of ladies in large round sunglasses, black summer dresses and polka dotted scarves driving around on Vespas in Spain.

This, to me, is an any-time-of-day perfume but probably suited to the warmer weather of Spring.

llleticia

Is this perfume similar to Armani Mania?

happygeisha

incredible fragrance! peppery, sweet, warm and comforting... it reminds me immensely of gucci guilty with its pink pepper, mandarin orange, amber and patchouli. just a gorgeous juice.

Jasminalia

A salesperson told me this fragrance is going to be stopped. Too bad.

ellaquintero

This is what I imagine Dolores Haze would wear. Different, sweet, flirty, but still mature... Very very very very beautiful and unique. I'm starting to love the whole Lolita Lempicka line.

the_new_esta

Sold it the same week I bought it. Not deep/warm enough for me.

Dee5

Another OMG one for me. The opening is a bit harsh then it mellows down to a peppery spiciness and then it smells sweet and fresh. This fragrance is a little unusual and complex for me, I haven't come across anything like it. This was a blind buy and I think I scored with that one. This is my first time smelling any Lolita Lempicka fragrance and if that is how unusual they all are, then I'm going to find them all.

HanamiTsukimi

This one's really growing on me.

On first application it's a little strong, a little bold for my taste, although I love the spunky pink pepper. But then the sweet pea comes through to sweeten things up and the tonka bean adds a touch of creaminess. The citrus notes are barely there on me while the patchouli eventually dominates.

This is almost the opposite of what I experienced the first couple of times I tried it, when it was still peppery but the drydown stayed more fresh and balsamic than sweet and creamy.

The heavy dose of patchouli still gives it a "perfumey" quality that keeps this at the "like" instead of "love" level, that and I wish the sweetpea stayed to play a little longer. But at least I've found a use for my adorable mini bottle other than just decorating my dresser.

Si Lolita represents a sparkling, happy, self-assured personality.

the_new_esta

Pepper pepper pepper pepper pepper. And cake mix! Somehow this smells like cake mix... amazing!
I don't think it is sexy, but a beautiful fragrance for work. Right up there with designer brands as far as originality goes.

My only complaint, which some people may actually like, is that there is NO warmth. The spices are all up high, and the scent is fresh. I wish it would dry down to something creamier.

zayzay

Massive pink pepper overdose in the top notes!!! Then when it settles down I agree with action, it is in part like Fendi Theorema. It also reminds me of Sensuous by Estee Lauder, (which somehow puts me in mind of sticky ginger cake).

Reading the reviews of this I am struck by how many of us are reminded of other perfumes upon smelling it. Doesn't seem very original, and for me it is not as good as some other Lempicka perfumes I have tried. However it is pleasant and there's nothing I dislike about it, but for me there are better spicy perfumes out there.

update: My daughter loves this, and it smells so good on her.....perhaps it's better on younger skin!

cockapoo9237

"No" Lolita.

YogaRose

So unique and beautiful........Si Lolita's notes that stand out to me are the particularly the Clementine and Amber. Then, it dries down to a beautiful, exquisite soft peppery amber (could the softness be because of the sweet pea?) The patchouli mixed with the sweetness is subtle, soft, and beautiful.
EDIT: There is definitely "art" to this one and I I'm in love. Fresh, ambery, soft floral, resiny, sweetness.

This is very similar to Victoria's Secret Very Sexy 2 which has been out of production for years. I was bummed out that my Very Sexy 2 had only a few drops left.
Well, I also have Si Lolita but never actually used it till yesterday. It was so similar and later when I looked up both on here, I realized that they actually DO have similar notes.....most notably the CLEMENTINE and AMBER.
However, Si Lolita is an improvement from Very Sexy 2. If you miss Very Sexy 2, Si Lolita by Lolita Lempicka is the one to get...and the bottle of course, is beautiful.

ingridp

I just love the fresh and peppery opening, it's sparkling, energizing and optimistic! I only wish it lasted longer! When it settles down, it becomes very soft and feminine. It smells expensive, creamy, clean and sofisticated. Together with the gorgeous bottle - my whole impression is that I have a piece of treasure in my hands :)

mhubbard

Definitely a like but not quite a love.Certainly nothing like the original LL. Gentle, sweet, spicey and understated, reminding one of a gingerbread house. Soft and feminine, suitable for office and day time wear. I do not find it extremely unique. It reminds me quite a bit of Hillary Duff's With Love as well as several others. I purchased 8 samples and probably will not spring for a FB when they are gone, as I already have several "okay" day-wear scents. 7/10

sherien

This is a very tricky fragrance.. in a very good way, I love spicy perfums, to my nose .. although it is not listed.. I smell cardamom mainly and Tonka bean, with a twist of citrus and a wild burst of patchouli. It can pass as a unisex perfume, I don't see it similar to any perfume I smelt before.. very unique and truly understated.. :(

KateAnette

This is unmistakably a Lempicka, I think I could of said that in a blind test. Received it today, and loving it. Peppery, spicy and sweet. The sweetness is similar to Le Premier, it's a fresh sweetness. Sillage seems to be good as with all Lempickas I've tried. Sprayed it on a little while ago, so can't say anything about the longevity or dry down yet. I'll edit later. Seems to be potent stuff, one spray is plenty. Le Premier, L and Coral Flower are all great, and Lempicka didn't disappoint me this time either. I'm sure this will be one I'll reach for often.

wistfulmaiden

I have been wearing this for a while, it nearly became my "signature fragrance" but I always get too bored to stick with one for too long. This one had some really unique notes, spicy pepper opening and something kind of green/citrus but quickly sweetening into a slightly spicy floral...the sweet pea is a nice surpise! The longer you have it on, the more nicely it blends with the skin. I don't find it at all masculine in fact a lot of men find this perfume sexy and say it smells so good.
If you like very sweet/cotton candy fragrances or up-front florals this may bite you a bit but it does mellow out, me I personally like the peppery beginning. Chance also has pink pepper and patchouli but somehow I like this one better it doesn't have that metallic note Chance has. I have been wearing L'Amoureaux lately which is more of a spring-ish pink pepper.
I traded this one to a Fragrantican I hope she likes it as much as I do.

brandiwine1980

I really love the bottle and box for this, very pretty. To me this perfume is very unique. I've never encountered a perfume like it in my 30+ years of living. It does indeed open very peppery and medicinal, vicks vapo rub? Perhaps? It's kinda scary, but it gets better. Next comes the orange peels , as others have described along with spices. It reminds me of Christmas, those old fashioned oranges that people poke cloves into for decoration. There's a freshness along with a warmth. But in the drydown my impression is expensive face powder mixed with Loreal lipstick. If you have the patience, very warm, one of a kind, comforting perfume

Elisa S

It's funny - even though they don't have the same notes, Si Lolita somehow reminds me of Sensous (Estee Lauder). I think the atmosphere they create or their "personalities" are similar. Though I do find a combination of (deep + clean) sweetness and pepper in both..

pretty mini collector

Starts out clean, almost soapy, which I like. But later evolves into floral musk, which I like even more. On my skin, the patchouli is pretty much non-existent, thankfully. I think this is more of a daytime, casual perfume.

at first I thought this was a rather unisex fragrance but after an hour it develops a nice sweetness It's spicey femenine but very sexy.

Love this perfume very much. The opening is very balsamic and spicy. Perfectly suited for fall. When it fades it reminds me Eau des Merveilles by Hermes. Very comforting.

Too heavy to me at the beginning. Then it is a lot better, even if it still keeps strong balsamic notes. When I was spraying it on my skin, I really hoped very much that I would like this fragrance enough to buy it. Because of the bottle, of course. Bottle is totally great. Beauty. Piece of art! Why Lolita Lempicka brand can't invest more in scent creating? I would love to have such bottle in my bathroom, but I won't buy any fragrance I can't use!

Update: I am so happy to say that I have miniature bottle of it, received as Christmas gift. I love this bottle!

So this arrived today and I was picking my brain as to what this reminded me of. Alas it dawned on me. My beloved Donna Karan Chaos. So I gently cracked out my hidden new bottle of cherished Chaos and sprayed it on the left wrist, and the Lolita on the right. These are not exact dupes but in my personal opinion I find them close. The Lolita is a tad more pepper as the Chaos seems to be more clove - but the two quite similar as in the same family of scents.
WARNING WARNING WARNING... THIS CAN BE STRONG IN THE BEGINNING not for the faint of heart first spray. But I promise it does calm down.

Wow, this is one spicy mama!! I like it, but don't love it. It's got potential though; dry down is much better, imho.

I left a negative review quite a while ago and since then have changed my tune, Now I really like this perfume. At first it seemed very strange and such a unusual scent. But over the last month I have given it another chance and tried it a few times. Love it. Feminine but not girly. It has an exotic peppery spice to it.

The box -a three dimensional piece of art nr.1. White, painted with dots and flowers (poppies, I guess), playful, flirty and classic in the same time. By the way, I can never throw away any of Lempicka's perfume boxes, they are so incredibly beautiful.

The bottle- beyond my imagination and all the expectations. The images don't reflect its beauty, you must see it in reality. This is just amazing! Piece of art nr.2.

The perfume - individualistic, unique, elegant.
Every note is in its place and on its time, so sophisticated, a bit serious and very feminine.
The pepper is present, but it's soft, makes the scent "alive" and versatile. I could call it a bit "chypry" too. I don't get much flower or sweetness, I get that wonderful, warm, oriental base (patchouli+ amber), it makes me long for kisses and something more.
Si Lolita woman is young at any age, she can be an innocent, blushing angel, she can be a vamp, she can be everything she wants.
For the women who accept and love themselves. Piece of art Nr.3.

The bottles of this brand are just AMAZING! I would't buy any of their perfumes for the smell ( my opinion ). But I would buy it for the bottle.

Si Lolita opens with a potent blast of pink pepper and bitter citrus that reminds me of the scent left on your fingers after peeling an orange, which I quite like. I am not familiar with the scent of sweet pea (or wallflower for that matter), but the floral component of this perfume has a creamy undertone. This makes me curious to search out additional scents that feature sweet pea. There is also the tiniest bit of foody caramel saltiness, maybe can be contributed to the tonka. The amber is adds a warm sweetness that makes me love this. Describing how I feel about this perfume, I would say it is energetic, fun, and carefree. I adore the charming bottle with it's teeny-weeny polka dot neck scarf.

I revisited Si Lolita. The first time, I was completely turned off by the pepper. After trying again, I did what I should have done before. I gave it a chance.

It dried down beautifully. Warm and sweet. In the end, the pink pepper made this more complex. What started off as a turn off elevated it from a lovely and sweet perfume to a lovely and sweet perfume...with an edge.

Nicely done.
