It’s more soapy and ambery than original like Nivea . Original is really a beach sent if you ask me and more fresh and sharp . Onyx is more creamy and thick .

I really love how Olympea has a good balance in between sweet and salty scent. I like this version better than the original because it is creamier and deeper than the original. I could say that this one is more 'intense'.

I bought this last year (early 2022) and I had a traumatic experience with JHAG Vanilla Vibes which also had a sweet and salty scent around before (early 2020), but thank God I have a very pleasant experience with Olympea. I love it so much! It gives me a sweet but sexy vibes. Plus not a lot of people use Olympea in my country, unlike another sweet and sexy fragrances such as Libre or Black Opium.

I think Olympea in general deserves much more love. I have a lot of perfumes and I don't this this is generic in any way, it's very underrated. And this Onyx version is absolutely gorgeous inside and outside. I love the combo of sweet and salty very much, in food and in smells as well. (I love pineapple on pizza) so this is very satisfying smell to me

It’s the same perfume as the original but for reformation there is stil Lilal in it . What is now forbidden in perfumes . That’s why so many perfumes are reformulated .

I got the onyx first, but found it a bit too harsh or strong to my taste. I have to spray lightly.

The original is quite popular as far as I know, so I wondered and got curious whether there was a difference betweeen the two. I didn't notice any difference on fragrantica apart from the bottle.

I now also got hands on the original, and I smell a difference. To my nose it is more pleasant. Less sharp and deep when spraying.

If you look at the composition of the two on the top right side of the fragrantica description, I then noticed that there is a difference in the AMOUNT of vanilla, white flowers, amber etc. I've seen this before with other originals vs collectors. Same stuff, but different amount.

The onyx, if you ask me, is deeper, sharper, maybe more spicy? And the original a bit brighter and less heavy. This is mostly noticeable in the first phase. Later, on paper at least, they are pretty much the same.

It is the same fragrance as the original (salty vanilla) - just a blinged up bottle. Longevity is not great on me (3 hours max) silage and projection is low (probably a skin scent after 15-30 mins). It is a pleasant smell however I literally sprayed about 30 sprays to make it project for a just a short amount of time. I got a good deal on this but not worth the asking price. I would not repurchase due to the lack of performance but it’s a nice scent.

same as the original. I got rid of mine.

this one was waaaaaay too strong. I sprayed it on a hair scrunchie and can still smell it. TOO much for me.

if you like the general scent but it is true strong try M&S island perfume.

Same juice, amazing bottle!
If you, like me, love the original Olympēa EDP, go for it! The bottle is absolutely stunning. Excellent longevity and sillage. Could not be happier with this purchase!

How does Olympea Onyx compare to Olympéa and Olympea Legend, anyone know?

gaz525

Where can I get this?Nothing on the UK Paco site or on any perfume sites in general.....

auroramaria

The bottle is almost the same as Legend also when I saw it I was hoping for a new version of Olympea even though there are quite a few already but this one follows the trend of the collectors bottle which I find so boring Ah well
