Can Can by Paris Hilton is a Floral Fruity fragrance for women. Can Can was launched in 2007. The nose behind this fragrance is Jean Claude Delville. Top notes are Nectarine, Black Currant and Clementine; middle notes are Wild Orchid and Orange Blossom; base notes are Amber, Musk and Woodsy Notes.

Famous beauty Paris Hilton launched her fourth fragrance for women, her 7th fragrance in general – Can Can. The fragrance is inspired by the film Moulin Rouge and the song Lady Marmalade.

The fragrance is floral-fruity, oriental, and of course, very sensual. It opens with clementine blossom, black currant and nectarine. The heart unites wild orchid and orange blossom, while the base brings soft musk, amber and precious woods. The fragrance was designed by Jean-Claude Delville in 2007.

monkey569!

Fruit cocktail syrupy canned fruit with a warm sugar amber dry down, cotton candy, the florals give it a baby powder vibe. It last long and is strong.

Scentuality

Well, here it is. I received this bottle as a Christmas gift from my older cousin probably back in 2010. Today I finally finished it lol, it's a 50ml bottle. This was the first EDP I ever owned and to be honest it was a fun ride. I can't identify the fruits, but I do detect a girly note which I notice tends to be "orchid". So you definitely get some orchid and musk which makes it comforting and overshadows the fruits to be honest. It's a pretty fragrance, very well balanced and super versatile! This is one of those rare perfumes that you can wear any season, time, occasion, or place. It's not too loud but you can notice it if I'm talking to you. It definitely can be a starter frag for teens too. It's feminine, flirty, sensual for sure, but not raunchy. It's giving classy and gorgeous. If this sounds like something you are interested in, why not try? It's pretty inexpensive too and lasts on clothing a good 6 hours.

berrymilktea

Nostalgic. My mom wore this in the early 2010's. I remember it being sweet and powdery.
I had a body spray a few years ago but I had to give it away halfway through. It became incredibly cloying to me. Still, iconic.

auriks03

my mom would use this in the mid 2000s and i love how it smells.
i she recently gave me the bottle she had and never finished, it smells exactly the same as i remember.
anyway, i came to look up the notes and am shocked by them because i don’t smell fruitiness or any floral notes which is what i love about it. to ME this smells like cotton candy with a woody note when you put your nose to it. at a distance it’s like a creamy cotton candy but not so sugary like cotton candy. i don’t really smell any fruits or florals in it which i love

Scorpionlily

This is a beautiful fruity amber scent. I agree can can is very similar to VS sexy little things noir just without the apple note, which makes it lack the freshness that I adored about that perfume. I want to try and layer this with an apple body mist to see if I can better replicate the scent. Overall, this is a sweet and flirty scent. Good for a blind buy cheapie if you are an amber fan or are looking for a SLTN dupe.

amberomance811

I have been wanting to try this for a while on the basis that is has been compared to VS sexy little thing noir (one of my fav scents from my early-mid twenties) but I couldn’t get past the bottle as it looks just ridiculously cheap. I ended up finding a sampler at Walmart for an extremely reasonable price with a few other PH frags I’ve been wanting to try (gold rush, Heiress) and this one DOES NOT disappoint.. This smells nearly identical to what I remember of SLTN. In 50° spring weather this is Sweet but not sickly with decent projection. I remember SLTN being VERY sweet and almost screechy in winter and I honestly LOVED that it projected so well in the cold so I’m excited to see what this has to offer me n cooler weather. I don’t really get all the fruit at the opening, to me this is pure cotton candy but I really do love the close skin amber and wood that I get from the dry down in this. Really happy with this find.

jas000n

Basically reminds me of red twizzlers with that kinda waxy, candy cherry smell. There is a hint of earthiness in the background if I really think about it. Not bad!

devaluxe

I have bought this several times over as it’s just an easy to wear scent, safe for the office, fetches compliments and now that it’s older, you don’t smell it on everyone and their mother like some of today’s popular fragrances. And it’s so affordable! Some have likened it to Pink Sugar and to me, the only similarity is that they’re sweet. Pink Sugar has a burnt smell and a licorice note that is absent in Can Can. And Can Can has more amber and more caramel. I own them both but reach for Can Can more. If you like the sweet ones like the OG Betsey Johnson, Jessica Simpson’s Fancy, and yes, Pink Sugar, you’ll probably enjoy this too.

vanillaboozygrl

Syrupy, sweet oranges and lots of amber. It's not bad if you like The One/The Only One.
Kinda smells like Werther's Original. On skin about 3-4 hours and maybe 6-7hrs on clothes.

Samaraqrace

One of my favs! very powdery and sweet. Smells kind of like candy but not in a sickening kind of way. Perfect feminine scent.

XOXO_marcel

Based on the body mist:
Rich, fruity, and sweet. Surprisingly dark. I don't have much else to say about it, but it's a delicious fragrance.

Glyceryl

A nice, inexpensive fruity amber scent. Once it completely dries down there is a very soft powderiness, but nothing crazy.

Smells like sweet, delicious hard candies.

Lj123fragrantica

One of my favorites. My boyfriend says I smell lovely when I wear this :) I think it smells the best after a while, when it settles, it becomes sweeter and warmer then. Makes me think of candy and sweet notes, it's so yummy.

VanillaWoof

A light sweet and powdery perfume. It's a lovely everyday fragrance.

Nievesm

I don’t have a fancy review like most of you but I would say that it smells really nice and love wearing it to bed. My pillows and blankets smell like it. I smell it throughout the night. I’m thinking about buying a backup bottle since it was so cheap.

luna k

Even though I'm old enough to be a grandmother, I like Can Can but only when it's zero degrees outside. Therefore this is a grandma perfume. The end.

I want to smell like Smarties, powder and white musk in sub zero temperatures, who doesn't? Can Can smells like an ice skater in an over sequined costume practicing for the Ice Capades or a 20th century Vegas Showgirl wearing a neon feather headdress. Disco lights, sequins, theatrical makeup. Dramatic.

jadepo21

Oh wow is this sweet! Opens with a tremendous amount of sugary sweet fruit then settles into a soft powdery skin scent within the hour.

Anything4talishas

Got a bottle for $10 at Burlington and was so excited bc I never tried a PH frag before. It smelled like the women’s English Laundry perfume kinda. I burned through it as a cheap work perfume. It was decent. A good buy for smelling nice on a budget. Lasts on clothes and hair. My bottle didn’t have a feather on it though which bummed me out lol.

yulikat

This was gifted to me and i went thru several bottles. I would always run it through my hair and spray on my hair brush. I never minded it until i started venturing out onto other fragrances, now im quite sick of it since it reminds me of hairspray. Its very sweet in a synthetic sort of way. I dont have the courage to finish my current bottle. Thankfully there isnt too much left

Dee97

This smells like pink sugar to me, but sweeter. Quite headache inducing and cheap smelling in my opinion… I mean I know it’s cheap, but it smells too cheap, unwearable cheap lol and too sickly for my liking. Also I can sense a bit Prada Candy Kiss in the dry down but this is way more nauseating. Such a shame cos I actually like her original perfume and I wanted a nice smelling cheapie for the winter but guess I’ll just stick to Cloud.

UPDATE: I take everything back! I can’t believe how I’ve done a complete 180 on this 😂 I love it now that I’ve worn it for the 2nd time. Best I can describe it is sweet and juicy with a hint of muskiness but not cloying. This doesn’t need to be layered with anything (the mistake I made before) so any unscented lotion is more than enough. This can definitely be worn in any season. Might be a bit too sweet for very high temperatures but will try it out when the time comes. It lasts a long time too and doesn’t smell cheap or too young (I’m 26), just smells fun and playful.

Sweetlikechocolate

This is a pretty, sugary scent 😍 I like it alot! I just wish it lasted longer, and had better projection. Smells like battenberg cake

netuuu

I own the bodyspray version and it smells exactly like Pink Sugar! Suprised that it hasn't been mentioned, to me they are practically identical.

Alexchanel22

I am quite fond of this fragrance, although its longevity is unfortunately lacking. It is disappointing because I am a fan of Paris Hilton perfumes, but they tend to fade quickly on my skin. Nevertheless, I am enamored by the delightful scent emanating from the bottle, where the top notes of Nectarine, Black Currant, and Clementine are distinctly noticeable. I simply wish that the fragrance would endure longer on my skin. Is it possible for a designer brand to replicate the formula and enhance its longevity? Humorously pondering this possibility!

FlowerSeeker

A big juicy fruit at first. I can definitely smell the scrumptious nectarine. It quickly morphed into amber, and I’m sensitive to that so it was a bit too much for me. In the dry down it reminded me of BBW cotton blossom. I can see why so many people enjoy this!

Chinello23

Ohhhh I loveeee this. This is so so so pretty, girly and delicious.

Fluffy spun sugar, warm citrus and a delicate and gorgeous white floral (a marshmellowy and soft orange blossom). All of this against a slightly shampooey backdrop, which is reminiscent of the early 2000s for sure.

It smells like a warm, candied hug by someone in a fuzzy pink cardigan.

Doesn’t smell too much like sensual amber by bbw though, which is one of my all time favourite fragrances, but it’s no less pretty for it. There are similarities however!

Cons: The bottle is atrocious and not at all ergonomic haha, difficult to spray and the spritz sucks. Not too much of a bother when the juice inside is so good though.

kawaiithugg

I got the mini version from a gift box set;

Definitely my 2nd favorite in the box set (Gold Rush being #1 imo)
What can I say? She's fun, sweet, a little bit generic but I like it! I have nothing bad to say about this one. She's a safe sweet blind buy for sure!

AparajitaFlowers

I saw a tacky, hot pink body spray bottle titled Can Can in the clearance section of Walmart, and sprayed it on myself for shits and giggles, only to stop in a moment of silence, get home, and immediately order Can Can EDP online. After sampling many, many celebrity perfumes, I can confidently say this is truly the queen that should have occupied equivalent space in our cultural conscience that Fantasy by Britney Spears enjoys. In short, this is a damn good perfume I gravitate towards over, and over. The notes may seem generic, but Can Can is one of those rare gems that I can only describe as an experience. It smells like what I thought cool, popular teenagers who can drive smells like being in the 4th grade. It smells like my aunt in her party era, donning Victoria’s Secret merch. This is THE scent for a wild, 2000s and early 2010s party girl with messy makeup who still some how manages to look the hottest in the room. She’s decked out in pink and black, and has sparkly silver eye shadow.

The juicy, succulent black current and nectarine opens with a freshly squeezed fruit juice entry, and almost mimics a poached pear that has been cooled. On my skin, it immediately moves towards an amber forward dry down, with the orange blossom playing a supporting role. The orchid is barely there, and mainly contributes towards creating a creamy transition for the amber to prevent it from being harsh, as is often the case (I’m looking at you Dolce and Gabbana The One for Her). I’m not the biggest fan of amber - but the amber dry down of Can Can is decadent, rich, a little powdery, a tiny bit sweet. It smells expensive. Although the atomizer and sillage are not the best - it is simply a delight to smell it on yourself as you won’t be able to stop.

Very rarely does a perfume wow me - and this certainly did. WOW. And for only $23 CAD?! An absolute steal.

Keep in mind that this is not a stereotypically sweet, gourmand, or edible desert perfume - but rather a day time sweet, sexy, creamy fruity floral that is made significantly more complex by amber while retaining it’s freshness. I love how complex and well blended it is. That’s it - rave review over. 10/10

AoiUsagi

Despite the notes, this is an incredibly generic overly-sweet scent without a hint of fruit or juiciness. I love currant so I was hoping for some of that, but there's just none.

spellbook.soaps

This scent used to be such a unicorn for me, but it’s either changed or aged poorly. It smells stale and fades so fast :/

StardustMoonsong

Sweet, fruity, warm and powdery.. so perfectly feminine!

Gemsense

I can't get over how amazing this smells! I can't get enough of it! It's like after that short two day heat wave, it opened up the notes and now even in cooler weather this is gorgeous 😍. This is one of the best fragrances I have ever smelled!

suzanne_ronald

RASPBERRY COULIS Kryptonite! From the first sniff, this addictive scent had me hooked like a fish. Opens with a burst of syrupy raspberry that's evoked by nectarine, black-currant & clementine, and continues into a floral-gourmand heart of wild orchid & orange blossom, resting on a fluffy, sweet amber-woody base. Signed by perfumer Jean Claude Delville (Clinique Happy), this develops like raspberry cobbler: first the topping of sticky-sweet raspberry jam, and then the cookie base with well above average performance.

Contrast to Police Passion:
These are different but there are some similarities with super sweet red fruit. PP has a fresher facet, and to my nose it leans to fresh ripe cherries, while Can Can leans to raspberry cobbler.

Contrast to La Nuit Tresor a la Folie Lancome:
These are different, but there is a similar gourmand vibe. Can Can is more raspberry foreword, while LNTalF is a slightly stronger performer.

Contrast to To Be Exotic Jungle Police:
These are different, but there is a similar gourmand vibe. Exotic Jungle is inspired by La Nuit Tresor a la Folie Lancome, while Can Can is more raspberry foreword. Performance is roughly equivalent.

Contrast to La Nuit Tresor Lancome:
Different scents, but a similar gourmand vibe. LNT is a stronger performer with patchouli, while Can Can is more raspberry forward.

Contrast to Pink Sugar Aquolina:
These are different but there are some similarities in the heart & drydown. Can Can is more raspberry-jam forward while Pink-sugar is more vanilla-strawberry forward. Both have a sticky-sweet vanilla aspect. PS has beast mode performance.

Overall: Well above average performance, that becomes beast mode when layered over its matching body lotion. This has a beautiful gourmand scent profile, that's not too heavy to cloy. This is the perfect scent to wear as an addiction substitution. It's a love for me. Enjoy!

Gemsense

This Girl performs well in 80 degree summer heat! It’s weird that it’s cloying in cool weather and in bloom in hot weather. She’s very well blended sweet sexy creamy a little fruity a little sultry. Way better in the heat! Love this!

renealizette

This smells like a 21 year old would wear. She's enjoying her life right now, but she doesn't know what's up ahead. Such a very sweet, still luxurious, scent. To me this smells like a girl who just graduated college, who decided to travel first before working. She's probably in Korea with her bffs as we speak, living the chill life, shopping and dining before she enters reality. Although she knew. She knows what's up ahead and she's scared. But at the moment she doesn't care, she just wants to enjoy life for one second.

PS. I've smelled a bunch of Paris Hilton scents, and I must say she pays attention to her perfumes. They all smell amazing. It totally encompasses her lifestyle- flirty, glamorous and so heiress.

hpeeters

Safe blind buy! it is wonderfully sweet. Electrify is also amazing. I need to try more PH scents, I have been happy with them all so far.

Safyre365

This one, the original Can Can, is more syrupy sweet with nectarine and amber being in the forefront.
The difference between this one and Can Can Burlesque is that Can Can Burlesque is more powdery sweet (instead of syrupy) with the added note of raspberry being upfront. Then the other notes from the original Can Can are there, minus black currant and amber. They're both good to me, just a little different.

Lučanská

This was the second perfume that I purchased when I was 17 and I LOVED IT then. I fell in love with the cotton candy smell right away. I am 33 now and recently ordered this again, feeling nostalgic....way different now for me. There is a reason it is a 'young scent'. Must have been all the hormones raging through my body when I was younger that changed my body's chemistry because now when I smell this it is very light and soapy to me. I smell more of the fruitiness than the cotton candy hit that I was craving and it does not have the power that I remember😕

iammelody

I recently re-purchased this after decluttering my original bottle from 2008 or 9. I don't know why I got rid of it back then considering how I don't remember ever not liking it. I think I thought it was too strong (I was a timid little 20-year-old).
Wearing it again brings me back to being young, hot, and making a lot of stupid/embarrassing mistakes... But I love the reminder and I can enjoy it now as a 34-year-old more than ever. There's something about that pink, sweet, creamy, and fizzy opening to dry down that gives me such beautiful nostalgia but also makes me just as happy to be living the life I am now.
Sometimes the opening gives off hairspray vibes but that quickly fades and shortly after you're hit with the top notes, which on me stick around until the end along with the amber. I find this to be quite long-lasting, considering it lasted through a night out and I could still detect hints of it in the morning.
This is still pretty widely available online on discount sites, so if it sounds like something you'll enjoy, grab it!

perfumeandorder

This is actually a dumb reach frag for me. I wear it when I am doing nothing and want to smell good or want to add some depth to a body mist. Cheap and cheerful - reliable sweet kinda fruity but the dry down I get is the type of musk in the Kayali Musk - a sweet clean vanilla musk with amber. Lasts a while but doesn't project more than an hour or so.
Opens very fruity nectarine and fizz but this disappears on me in the first half hour. It's ok to have I would not repurchase but don't regret buying it. It really is an anytime any season frag.

ThatGothBBW

This stuff is just........okish.

In MY opinion. This just smells cheap, artificial, etc. There is nothing grown up, mature, strong, or complex about this Fragrance, what so ever. I hate to be cruel. This just smells like some generic candy/cotton candy. The lasting power, projection, etc is just ok. You'll get two, to four hours at the absolute max with this Fragrance. This perfume is pretty juvenile in my opinion, to the point it's kind of embarrassing to even wear, or own.

It's definitely not a keeper for me,it just doesn't have enough going on. but, with that being said, if you like VERY simple, sweet Fragrances, you'll probably really like this.

Edit: the longer it sits on the skin, the better and better it gets, yummier too

$kank$mell$

About 5 yrs or so ago, I remember reading an article online titled 'Top 10 Gourmand fragrances" or something like that and this perfume was somehow one of the top 10 in that article. The author described this perfume as like a sweet champagne type of scent, and I agree.

There is a sort of sparkling and effervescent fizziness to this scent that is awesome. Its sweet and white sugary but is also kinda light at the same time. I dont agree that this smells overly sweet or immature because of its lightness.

I just bought a full size bottle as I was reminded of this scent now that CLEAN just released a fragrance called "Sparkling Sugar" (that I havent tried yet) which is how I'd describe this fragrance. Id laugh if they smell the same.

anxioussteve

Just got this and OMG!!! Identical to Fantasy by Britney Spears!! In love. Strong and great sillage too. My second Paris Hilton perfume and she hasn’t let me down so far!

amandavolpe

I feel the listed notes do not convey how sugary Can Can is. I blind bought this one because it has two of my favorite fruity notes, blackberry and nectarine. The listed prominent amber note also seemed very attractive.

However, those two notes here, along with clementine, are not akin to fresh fruit but to hard candy. Can Can starts with a blast of fruit sugar and sharp orange blossom, both smells I dislike, but after about an hour it mellows into this sweet vanilla, orchid and apricot combo that's fairly pleasant. Also, the amber in this fragrance is closer to caramel than to resin.

In terms of the overall profile, it reminds me of Aquolina Pink Sugar, Britney Spears Fantasy and Prada Candy, although it's definitely the least saccharine of the group.

amg7613

Lie back and close your eyes. Imagine it’s 2006. Take your Can Can from Burlington and spray your way back into Y2K (I saw another reviewer had mentioned this and spot on). Can you see yourself getting out of your Neon with your low rise jeans? Ok, that means you have enough on! Its a creamy, fizzy, fruity soda pop of a fragrance. Is it the worst perfume? No. Does it smell like a lot of other perfumes, yes! You don’t need it, but go get it!

catonmars

Sweet and PLASTIC. This is what I think barbie would smell like.

leonemstar

I don't recommend it. It's extremely sweet and smells like kid girl perfume and cheap.

KatelynMLovesPerfume

I really love this fragrance. It's so sweet in a soft, sugary, powdery way. Honestly, I don't get fruity from this. I get sugar powdery and a hint of the black currant. However, there's one reason why I haven't repurchased this. It goes bad quickly and the smell almost goes flat it seems. And I have a lot of fragrances so it takes me awhile to run out of a perfume. And I really don't like how this smells when it expires sadly. Or else it would be one of my favorites :(

chasingbutterflies

I love this fragrance! It starts with a super sweet nectarine and blackcurrant mixed warm caramel. It stays pretty consistent to me during the dry down. I think these mix of notes gives a super delicious candy scent but it does not smell cheap because of the middle and base notes. I wear this when I want to feel confident and happy, maybe when I am feeling a little fun or flirty. I would almost compare it to my Dior Poison girl, except that Poison girl is way more complex, maybe a bit more mature and sensual. But the same sweet tangy fruity mixed with warm caramel is present in this, only a lot more fruity, fresh and youthful

coffeebean83

The nectarine, clementine and orange blossom really stand out right off. Then it settles down into a more caramelized brown sugar type smell with the amber, musk and woods. Very pleasant scent but one of the few(since I don't think most perfumes have assigned ages) that smells super young. I told a friend it was my Barbie's Skipper fragrance because it's not quite mature enough for actual Barbie. lol I could see it being a great first perfume for a 12 to 15 year old girl. Still have it in my collection but I only wear it around the house. For a celebrity perfume it's a soft moderate longevity and sillage.

Update: I gave this away. I'm never one to say perfume comes with a age group(I wear Fantasy and Pink Sugar regularly & love them) but this perfume is SUPER young/juvenile smelling to my nose. It basically sat there in perfume drawer ignored. Wasn't even wearing it around the house. Decluttered.

sibaraa

Soapy and sweet. More suitable for a teen.

mayberry

A powdery caramel. And a tangerine. I feel Prada Candy might have been inspired.

eau de dosa

When I was in middle school my dad bought the PH discovery set for me. Can Can was my favorite!

FreeBeing

UPDATE: I learned a lesson about how finicky fragrances can be in reacting to skin health. I had to come back and change almost everything I had to say about this. I must have been under-hydrated or something because when I put it on today... Magic. I got a lot of sweet, powdery musk and citrus when I first applied it. On the dry-down, the sweet powder and a sort of caramel were left. Medium sillage and pretty good longevity by itself. Later, I added a spritz of Mix:Bar Vanilla Bourbon and it revived the Can Can's sweetness. Oddly there was a mild and faint under-note of something like Glossier's "You" or Mix:Bar's "Cloud Musk". I put on the Can Can around 11 today & added the Mix:Bar about 4 hours later and the layered fragrances lasted til now and it's about 8 pm. This is nice and I think it's going to become a favorite - especially layered with the Vanilla Bourbon.

I don't get anything good or bad from this. It's so meh that I wonder if the tester I bought off eBay is the real deal. I get some of the mentioned notes but all are weak & nothing stands out. This is, so far my least favorite celebrity fragrance - with the exception of Mariah Carey's very forgettable Dreams.

RocCity3

I love this one! Late to the party, but so glad I purchased this. It's sugary citrus notes with a creamy dry-down. My mother has a very "sensitive" nose and was also pleasantly surprised how this inexpensive number doesn't have that cheap smell. Sweet and feminine, I wore this to class and got compliments. Something I would definitely repurchase!

Vabeachtiff

If you're a person that loves a good 'ole sweet scent, that's fruity and sugary with a slightly powdery dry down then you can't go wrong, here. This should be a sweetie girl's staple. Soft and girly, but sexy and fun. It's cheap and easy to grab and go. Can can lasts I guess 4-5 hours which is good enough for me. I love to heavily spray and top off throughout the day. If you like those Ariana Grande scents, give this a try. Few dollars cheaper. Lighter than Aquolina's Pink Sugar. You can wear this is any weather. The hotter, the more the sweetness projects. I love this also as a bedtime scent.

Sarahcat1111

Purchased this the other day at Ross, Along with Jlust. J lost disappeared after an hour, whereas cancan stayed on for around 4-5 hrs. Later that same evening, my husband got into my car to run to the store. When he arrived home & walked in the door he said “the perfume in your car makes me want to stick my face on your chest.” Which was surprising because I have a ton of high end perfumes and he rarely ever says that. I think the Amber note got him to wanna do the Can Can 💃

Tammesyoyo

It's like Far away Bella from Avon. Really not sure about this one yet I just got it today. The note I think I was picking up is the amber & woods like in Far away Bella. I thought this would be alot sweeter I noticed it gets sweeter towards the end and powdered. The start is different to far away Bella it's unusual some kind of sour candy fruits?. The heart and base to me is definitely like far away Bella. This doesn't resemble Sofia Vergara at all to me. Longevity was quite average to poor on my skin but on clothing this probably will last longer. I don't like that mind did not come full to the top like the one pictured even though it had celofane and it is new. So far my favourite Paris Hilton is still Dazzle. Followed by just me. Tease was ok but had little lasting power. Heiress my partner didn't like and was a bit too young for me. There are definitely copies of the original Paris Hilton out there because I used one as a teen and it was very very good. I've also smelt a copy of a rose rush one in an asain store years ago some where I had no idea what the real rose rush smelt like but when I got it, I realized I had smelt the same scent before in an asain shop - I liked it. I sprayed some can can in the lid too when trying and the liquid turned cloudy. Really unsure if this is a definite like yet.

violetbelle

I recently came across a mini set that included an *aged* Can Can and decided to spray some on my arm. What followed took me by surprise - sugar, warm, powdery amber and soft citrus florals + nectarine. I love that the fruits aren't terribly strong here. The result is creaminess combined with that inviting, powdery amber and sugar. It's surprisingly nice and not at all something I'd smell and think "teen body spray". Maybe I expected some thin, fruity, water thing. It's so good that I've been spraying it daily, even though it's so hot out. It's not heavy or cloying.
Never would've guessed by the listed notes that it would be so warm and yummy. Comforting and attractive. I get a good 8 hours, at least.

smellyal8ter

Like straight baby powder and sugar.

AmberWoods

This fragrance is perfect. I just got it recently and at first I wasn't sure. You should always give a new bottle a day or two, sometimes a week or two, to really develop and give it's true essence, after first spritz.
I wasn't really getting the nectarine or the clementine notes at first, and only getting a sour note, possibly the black currant. However, that quickly resolved itself and I am in love with this perfume. It's beautiful.
Best way to describe it is a peachy, fruity, citrus that dives into a candied, amber-sweet woodsy scent. The drydown lasts a long time on the skin, which is composed of the amber and woodsy notes. This reminds me of a warm, cozy campfire, mixed with the sweet amber resin, which mimics an almost vanilla, but darker, burnt brown sugar vibe. Not caramel, not marshmallow. Just smooth and cozy sweetened campfire without any overbearing musk, which I appreciate.
I can compare this slightly to Midnight Fantasy and Moonlight but only due to the drydown mostly. The composition is similar, as far as an opening of fresh fruits, with a drydown of amber, woods and musk. But this is definitely a citrus fragrance. I appreciate that it's not an overwhelming citrus scent either. You've got to like peach and orange blossom, which the nectarine gives a peach vibe whilst the orange blossom is slightly similar to gardenia, but barely. I almost forgot to mention the wild orchid, which I think is a contributing factor in creating a powdery element, which, helps the fragrance travel, or transition, into the drydown base. With this being said, this is officially my new favorite and likely to replace my signature scent which is Moonlight, followed by Cloud. Definitely a Spring and Summer scent as well. I only wish that it was a bit stronger. To wrap up my review, I'll give it 5 stars. ✨💗💯✨

Lilmissburticus

Candied tart mandarins! Smells so particular in my opinion. Someone said it reminds them of sour patch kids and I def see that too, blue raspberry vibes. It is strong so I don’t spray too much. I think if you combine this with passport to paris (which is a dupe of juicy gold couture) you’ll get something very similar to the only one dolce and gabbana. Love this as a summer scent!!!!

AngelikaGagalo

This scent is definitely one of my beloved Paris perfumes. I fell in love with it from the first sniff.
It's a fruity and sweet scent. It stays on my skin for a long time (even the whole day and), even after I took a shower.
I will definitely come back to it when I run out of it.

ALEXAA89

Nice but very subtle, vanilla and coconut. Its sweet but not overly, i feel like i can smell a hint of watermelon in there too although its not listed.

I like it but its very gentle, it won't be noticed from a distance and cant see it lasting long

blackcat02

It's good but not great. This is pretty unremarkable to me, I don't really remember it until I spritz it. It's not very fruity to me, I get some nectarine, but that's really all the fruit I get. Other than that it's mostly floral, woodiness, and amber.

IrishRose16

I really wanted to like this perfume since I love the movie Moulin Rouge. At first it smelled like raspberry or strawberry hard candies, then I got the warm amber mixed in. After awhile a very soapy note came out, I usually like soapy but with the raspberry it became nauseating. It smells both juvenile and old at the same time. Gave me a headache and had to wash it off.

fairycoffins

Can Can has a very candy-like fruity fragrance, like hard candies or gummies. It’s quite pleasant and surprisingly not cloying at all, even when I overspray. This was a blind buy at Ross — I hadn’t smelled anything from Paris since her original scent, so it’s been a long time, but the set with the perfume and lotion was so affordable I couldn’t pass it up. I really like this and I’m happy to have this in my collection for casual day wear. I think this could be safe year-round.

KamBam

I was really surprised at how much I disliked Can Can, as some of my favorite scents are from Paris Hilton (Gold Rush, Dazzle). The best way I can describe the scent is: musty raspberries that somehow remind me of a floral funeral home. It’s an odd scent - it’s not just a cheap raspberry scent, it’s truly not a great scent. At least, to my nose. For the price, there are better perfumes & body mists out there. If you want to try a fruity Hilton fragrance, I highly recommend Dazzle. As per most Hilton scents, this one has poor sillage and longevity.

amandavolpe

Y2K in a bottle. A bridge between Britney Spears Fantasy and Prada Candy.

mariboo

Feels soapy at first, probably because of the black currant note. As it dries down, it gets better and the floral notes become more noticeable.

Alexia1728

This fragrance is close to my heart. I’m so in love with it, from the first spray to the dry down. This blends in with my chemistry and to me, this is sensual, charming, lovely, gentle, and sophisticated. It’s just the perfect sweetness! It’s unique and nowhere near cloying. I will definitely wear this anywhere and anytime of the year. The longevity is amazing, I can still smell it on myself the next morning.
Anyone who loves fruity fragrance (I only smell hint of floral) would definitely love this. I used to watch Paris Hilton back in the day on Simple Life but I never tried her perfumes until now and I’m actually amazed! I’ll give her props on this one. She will be part of my collection ♥️👍

poppyetpear

I really like this and it's not my typical style. It kinda makes me think of pineapple upside down cake.

GabbyVersusThe

Can Can smells like the love child of Electrify and Pink Rush (both also by Paris Hilton; neither of which I particularly like).

k444yls

This scent smells amazing when you're sniffing the bottle. It's a cool, fresh, light and fruity scent. It smells quite literally like a basket full of shiny, freshly washed fruits. But the second it begins to dry down on my skin, I smell this putrid thick and overpowering powdery/musky scent and I don't know if it's just me but I sprayed the body spray at the store and it was the same scent but with no top notes. The dry down is so horrible on my skin and nauseating, and I really wish there was anything I could do. It stayed on me that way for hours. I don't understand how people could like this perfume!!

Laralaritaaa

Can Can walked so the other chicks could run.
Candied fruit, syrupy peach and burnt sugar. Sweet, pink and plastic.
I disagree this smell cheap, yes, is indeed synthetic, so are several niche fragrances, but it doesn’t smell cheap at all… actually, this is quite unique. I don’t really recall something similar to this one. Big sillage and lasts a lot. However this smells the best the less you spray.
Way better than pink sugar imo.

nateya

Juvenile sweet scent that smells cheap on its own. I wouldn’t repurchase this for for myself.

DolceX_X

Smells like LSP from Adventure Time burped in your face, a fight with a raspberry cotton candy monster and you won't win. This was my signature fragrance in highschool, it was inexpensive and wasn't a basic BBW smell. This scent is sweet but a sexy sweet, it's not boring at all. It smells like a french boudoir filled with a red velvet couch and a bowl of candy on a antique coffee table, sweet and comforting but also has a sexiness/mysteriousness to it because of the musk and amber notes. I love this perfume and going to get a bottle of it again soon, I'm going to get the body spray too so I can carry it with me on the go to reapply. It doesn't last long on skin but on clothing it will last a long time, it projects super well and isn't nauseating. It's inexpensive so it doesn't matter to me about the longevity :) bottle is cute and simple, I love the little feather 🪶💕

cemeteryfairy

This must be what the powerpuff girls are made out of. This reminds me of the opening scene where professor is adding sugar, spice and everything nice. On me this opens with a really spicy and strong amber and peachy note that fades into the most beautiful sugary amber musk. It’s comparable to pink sugar in the sense that it’s a warm spiced cottoncandy-ish scent. This smells gorgeous over Johnson’s baby lotion it lets the powdery amber and peach shine through, this is definitely going to be one of my winter staples. When I wear this perfume I just feel so feminine and girly but it’s not immature or cheap smelling to me at all. I definitely recommend checking this one out at Marshall’s or Burlington I got a 3.4 oz bottle for 19.99 if you’re into fruity gourmands :)

M1tsouko

can-can has a floral raspberry smell and it's so beautiful. Definitely my favorite out of all the paris hilton scents.

Millapetrovich

I really like this one. Different from a few reviews in here, I don’t think it smells cheap and definitely doesn’t smell like your typical celebrity fragrance.
It is very sweet indeed, but the drydown was definitely my favorite part.

Asparagus_gooey

Way too sweet, synthetic, and generic. I do smell some amber and a black currant grapey aroma but it smells extremely artificial. It's very childish and Barbie-doll-like in my opinion. There are good sweet fragrances out there but this isn't one of them. Maybe my 5-year-old sister will like it.

Edrina

This smells very similar to Sensual Amber from Bath & Body Works, except a bit fruitier. It is pretty "cheap" smelling, but I still like it a lot regardless.

xmikax

Ooof. This smells awfully cheap to me. cheap and generic, but not good generic— XHEAP generic. This is juvenile and just does not exude eloquence whatsoever. Not an awful smell, just not something I’d ever wanna spray on myself. I’d rather have on nothing than wear this.

Jadetive

Perhaps I got a bottle that is too old. This smells vile to me. Sweet yes, but also like burnt, acrid plastic.

KajiraSuzanne

It seems as if lately I am finding more fragrances that have awesome drydowns, and Can Can is one of these! Initially it's a good fruity floral with a very realistic clementine note, sweetly fresh and perfect for Spring, but not a show-stopper scent. However, as soon as the more mature floral notes and the musky/woodsy/powdery amber come into play, it's just fantastic, sexy but not too heavy, and somewhat playful. I thankfully DID NOT detect any bubblegum, although I suppose there is little bit of a caramel note that sneaks in (I liked it, and did not think it smelled like imitation Pink Sugar).
Sillage and longevity are good, I did have to over spray a bit.

Katiestark

This fragrance really disappointed me because I heard an amazing review of it from one of my favorite perfume reviewer‘s on YouTube raving about this and saying it was her signature scent. It does smell pretty cheap and smells like hand soap mixed with popcorn no lie. It’s if dawn and popcorn had a baby is what cancan smells like. I really don’t know why I haven’t given this away yet maybe because it was only $14 for the tester of the 3.3 ounce from fragrance x.com but I did and that it was really disappointing.

jamir6789

CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP. Smells like dollar store perfume. Horrible sillage & longevity. I'm not that familiar with paris hilton fragrances but this would not make want to try another one. Paid $20 at Ross for this smh. Should be worth $1.

3/10

Mmartinez67

I had this one several years ago. I don't remember exactly how it smelled, but what I do remember is that it was very sweet, youthful and lovely. I used it very often and finished two bottles. Of all the fragrances I've had, this is one of the top compliment getters for me. And It also had a very good performance. I used to spray it generously early in the morning, before leaving to work, and the people around me still could smell it in the afternoon. Maybe I'll repurchase it again some day, but for now I want to try new things. But I liked it and still think is a good option for sweet and gourmand lovers.

Update: I recently repurchase it and sadly now is a waterdown version of what it was years ago. It smells the same, but now is very weak. I'll finish my new bottle (pretty quickly, because even overspraying, it has a poor performance) and won't buy it again.

Candy-Cane

This was a blind online purchase and I'm glad I like it. This is a sweet, young, light and warm fragrance with a powdery finish. Overall a very pleasant scent but unfortunately a bit generic.

FantasyPerfume4life

This smells extremely cheap. When I smelled it since it was a blind buy, it was such a mess, it was all over the place. It's as if somebody just threw a large amounts of different notes and oils together randomly. There is no discipline. No mystery. It smells almost identical to the 10 dollar cheap Penthouse perfume. I love celebrity perfume, and I love other Paris perfumes, but this totally missed the mark.

gpaisley

CAN CAN is a beautiful, sweet gourmand perfume that actually reminds me exactly of BONBON by Viktor&Rolf - especially the burnt caramel note which is quite prominent in both fragrances. CAN CAN smells like the old fashioned giant caramelized candy apples you could buy at an amusement park.

flyingfish90

Maybe it needs time, but my first thought was wow that's sweet, like maybe even cloying. I don't mind amber in the background blending nicely with the other notes, but amber is at the forefront on my skin w/ this fragrance, and heavy amber tends to give me a headache. Luckily I only got the .25 spray vial. I guess I'll be back after I have had time to wear it in different situations. Jury is still out.

Edit: Paris continues to surprise me. Tease, w/ love, and the original paris hilton were immediate loves for me. Dazzle was one I had wear about 3 times before I warmed up to it and I fell in love w/ it (I am actually waiting for the gift set to arrive any day now). Same effect w/ can can, initially I thought it was too sweet. but now I really like it. I may buy the set for this as well!

Cathped

Very sweet but still fresh. Pleasant and easy to like. Lasting power though is nothing to brag about. My husband liked it immediately.

taylorcake1

I’ve been a blind buy queen lately. I bought this with the hope it smelled like the beautiful discontinued Dream Angels Forever Victoria’s Secret... I read a review on that fragrance that said cancan was a good dupe for DAF so I hastily bought it. Sadly, it doesn’t smell like it lol. Guess I just gotta let Dream Angels Forever go forever.

Cancan is fine, it smells like Britney Spears fragrances kinda. Specifically Private Show and Fantasy. I have no memories with this fragrance so there’s no emotions about it for me.
On the initial spray I can smell the fruits especially nectarine and clementine. Once it’s dried down I smell amber musk and vanilla. The fruits are still there but in the far background. Longevity is around 3 hours on my skin. Sillage is meh. I guess I would place it between intimate and moderate. Lasts good on clothes.

Its fine, I don’t love it. It’s just... fine.
I’m slowly starting to move away from buying cheaper fragrances and beginning to invest in ones that are more complex, have better lasting power, and are a little more unique. This fragrance affirms that for me. It’s just not special to my nose. I wouldn’t buy Cancan again, I might even give it away... I spent $12 for 1oz.

If you love this fragrance that’s ok too!! So don’t sweat my opinion. We all have different experiences with fragrances, that’s what makes this site so fun. I love reading the reviews and seeing how different all of our noses are. Cheers :-)

Update a few days later: I gave it away

Mermaid 23

Loved it, hated it, still like it in a way. It was my perfume in late teen. And I loved the sweetness and aura of it. Then I grew up, didn't used it for many years. My old bottle had a little amount of juice left. During this pandemic I was staying at my parental home, and found it in my closet. My mom keeps everything used by me as if it's a treasure! Well even after almost a decade the juice hasn't gone bad! It opens up with a very alcoholic burst which I really hated this time. I can't remember if I could tell a difference in my early years. Then it sets into a warm sugary sweet caramel vanilla sort of smell which matches a lot with Pink Sugar and Fantasy.
I felt like having a girly, nonchalant, easy to like perfume. I did not like how one dimensional this one is. Over the years I started to have a sweet tooth, hence wanted a similar sweet smell with a little bit character. I kept the old bottle of can can for the memories, and bought the original fantasy. Can Can and Fantasy gives similar vibe, while fantasy has some added fruity notes minus the alcohol at the beginning.

foxy_princess

As someone who rarely falls in love with a celeb perfume (last celeb fume I fell in love with was J Lo Miami glow) omg I'm in love. This is what pink sugar should have smelled like. I get a sugared nectarine/blackcurrant in the beginning and dries down powdery with traces of amber and musk

Kim35

This is a youthful smell, I feel it could be a great gift for teenagers. It’s a beautiful sweet scent, but nothing special.

Es un aroma juvenil, puede ser un gran regalo para alguien joven, especialmente adolescentes. Es dulce, pero no empalagoso. No tiene aromas raros o algo muy exótico. Es un básico.

MaxieF

If you're from the United States you will smell this and immediately smell public bathroom hand soap. Not the almond kind. The orange kind.

eqmorgans

Another one I got on clearance at Walmart. It was about $7. This bottle is cute in a sort of pink, barbie doll sort of way and so is the scent. Very sweet pink bubble gum and cotton candy. Nothing to exciting, nothing too special but doesn't smell bad. It's simple, sweet, cute, immature & uncomplicated. It isn't for me but will be a perfect gift for one of my 14 yr old daughters. Can't speak to the sillage or longevity as I only tried to teeniest spritz on one wrist.

kati77

I bought a sample of it, i wished this would be similar to Inside by Trussardi. I havent found similarity. Its sweet, quite uplifting and easy going scent.
No longevity on me. But it is not bad, just it didnt catch my attention.

CarmenTudor

Burnt caramel. Way too sweet even cloying. Nothing complex.

purple snowflake

Picked up a bottle of this at frag buy canada to meet free shipping number of bottles quota, and I'm quite pleasantly surprised. There were a couple of product options on the Can Can page drop down menu and mine was labeled thus: "Vintage Tester (Final Sale) - 100ml (Aged Vanilla)."

I took a chance and ordered the one labeled "vintage" and I'm not sure what that really means, or why it's also labeled "Vanilla," but in any case this frag is not cotton candy on me at all! It almost reads as a violet fragrance and I'm surprised it's not listed in the notes. It's very powdery and sweet/amber and has a very slight woody vibe, too. Doesn't last long but it was $17. I'll actually probably use it up!

Phantomias

This arrived in a large parcel of assorted minis. I'm not a fan of Ms. Hilton's antics and have tried only a few of her perfumes. The best way to describe them is the bad kind of cheap: poor in performance and unpleasant in scent and appearance. I realize my dislike for PH is immaterial for the purpose of a fragrance review, but since I'm at it ... the constant references to Ms. Hilton's appearance and status as heiress are irritating as are the cartoony designs of some perfumes. Being famous for being famous may be fun if one is rich and idle, but selling poor quality products at Walmart is an insult to the consumer. PH's fragrances give the impression of being thrown together for the sake of making quick cash, trading in on the brand name more than actual quality.
Can Can is no exception, it's overly sweet and without depth. Very similar to La Vie est belle, CC doesn't have the monster sillage or the near eternal lasting power. I can't make out most of the listed notes, just a generic sweetness and a touch of musk.
Considering that I dislike LVEB there's little chance I'd like this almost-impression.

mldaleali28

I've got this perfume as a present from my mother in 2008, for some reason she liked it or she thought it would be appropriate for a young woman. Oh. My. Lord. Pure cotton candy with some sweet fruit on background. It reminds me of a hot summer day, a fun fair, overpriced sweets, tired crying kids, generally a crowded loud noisy place. It gives me an instant headache. Definitely not my cup of tea.

JSpines

I don't find the scent itself to be horrible so to speak but I do have some issues with it. I find it overly sweet, cloying and headache inducing. The sweetness seems sharp and has a bit of a chemical undertone that annoys. Doesn't work for me at all!

spritzedsilly2

Two words... Cotton candy. Plain and simple. Not as complex as Pink Sugar or any of the other cotton candy scents. It's nice but I don't find it interesting. I forget I own it.

savannah401

This perfume smells really pleasant and it smells like cotton candy. It also lasts a long time on your skin.

Tasali

After reading the reviews here I seem to be the only one to experience saltiness from it, same thing with the flanker.
It is like an overly sugared fruitpunch with a moderate amount of salt sprinkled on it.
It makes it less cloying and more interesting to wear.
This is one of my favourites from Paris.

deadxxxmoon

Very very cotton candy, gourmand and sweet.

If you like Taylor Swift's Wonderstruck, Britney Spear's Fantasy, the Ariana Grande perfumes, you might like this.

scottgiles86

I am surprised at how much I like this given the cheap price. Not a high end scent by any means, but definitely very good for the price. Probably the most versatile Paris fragrance. Simple and not overly complex, which isn't a bad thing. Love it when my wife wears it!

spritzedsilly2

Cotton candy. Pure cotton candy. Nothing deep or interesting as other similar perfumes. It does smell good though.

patchgirl83

Early on during my JC ( Junior College ) days, girls in my class would go cuckoo for cocoa puffs over Can-Can

carrico1986

I used to have this and I really enjoyed it. It is a super sweet, girly cotton candy scent. It doesn't last too long though. I'm still not sure what the difference is between this and can can burlesque. They smell identical to me.

sydneychantelle

I am a big fan of Paris Hilton's fragrances, so I can appreciate the sense of fun and sweetness to her fragrances that do not take themselves too seriously. The notes as listed all sound pleasant together, but this fragrance has a cheap smell to it that makes no sense to me. It smells as if it is missing something and that hole was filled with alcohol. I would pass on this one and I am happy I only picked up a 30ml bottle.

nadarann

Well i have bought this perfume due to the reviews but i am disappointed with it after use it, it smells like a cheap car perfume. it causes me dizzy and headache.

SundayGirl07

This smells like cheap hairspray to me.

DebiL1211

Nectarines, orange blossoms, wood, and something green. Thats it. Not heavy on the sweetness but the longevity isn't there. Decided to wear this to bed but I sprayed it over an hour ago and now I can barely smell it. Won't be buying a FB of this one.

Avarie

Was "anticipating" this in the sense of it being a non-surprise gift, and wasn't really in a position to reject it. Although I had an idea of what was coming - a candyish scent wafting off a caricature of the girly Juicy Couture girls I used to "hate" on in my middle to high school years. Unwarranted dislike now of course, but still not a scent I think I'd care for...

And so it is. The cotton candy is strong with this one, along with sugar-topped, plasticky fruits. Luckily, that doesn't last too long, and the drydown is very faded, something vaguely sweet and not musky on my skin. Somehow that makes Can Can all the more tolerable as a day/night out scent.

Still not my style, but a real giggle to have. Can Can and other celeb smells of that era that represented a silly teen stereotype for me, that I wanted to be the complete rebel of, is now in my hands. It might become a guilty pleasure in the future, or it may not. I normally prefer my rare sweet gourmands in the chocolate, praline, creamy vanilla, or caramel vein. I can also imagine this being a winner for me if it took a more aquatic-fruit direction, something like L'Imperatrice.

geminipunch.1

Carnival fare. You are atop the midway looking down at the crowds milling below. You had a giant tornado of cotton candy wrapped on a stick but minutes later it has melted, shrunk waded up into a grotesque hot pink mess- this is Can Can. That ultra condensed smell of cotton candy.. Maybe you are working at a summer fair burning yourself on the cotton candy drum as you unsuccessfully try to spin the sugar wisps into a perfect cloud. You want to run away and quit as you can't grab those little rolls of paper quite fast enough and there is pink and blue sugar powder dusted all over the floor. The machine has stalled as you didn't spin fast enough and the sugar began to burn clogging the air release. You run away and never want to smell cotton candy again. I gave this away to my friend and she loved it but she is a fan of ultra sweet "gourmand" girly perfumes and the likes of Vera Wang Princess. Think pink very very pink.

LilyWhite14

Ok, this is sweet but it’s not shockingly sweet, especially if you’ve seen the notes. I get peaches and cream. I personally like it. The amber mixed with the nectarine gives it a coffee vibe at some point. I like all of the Brittney Spears Fantasy perfumes for the most part and don’t find this much sweeter than any of those and I’m seeing that many others who reviewed this like them too. Oh well, maybe it just mixes well with my chemistry. I may be in the minority here, but I think it’s very nice.

AHeartLikeMine

Weirdly, I got candied violets from this. I'm shocked that violets aren't on the notes list. It smells like two other fragrances I have that are violet-heavy.

elaine ong

I tested this a decade ago and recall that it was enchanting and the sweetest thing I had smelled back then. I didn't entertain the idea of buying it then, probably because it was the fragrance of a celebrity I had no affinity towards. Looking back, I wish I hadn't been so snobbish and just bought a bottle. I'd like to sniff it again someday and may even semi-blind buy it.

Melissa_T

I bought a Paris Hilton gift set that had 4 little bottles of her perfumes in it, I figured it'd be a great way to try some of her fragrances out that I've been curious about. It's funny how people can smell different things from the same perfume. I agree that it is sweet, which I love. At first spritz I get a lot of woods but then it turns into a delicious warm, sugary amber scent. There's the sweetness to it that I'm figuring is from the fruits but I don't really sense an actual fruity type smell. It's delicious and when this little bottle is gone I'm definitely buying a large one because this is a great fall/winter scent

theperfumemaniac

Deceivingly potent gourmand.

Sprayed at 5 pm, went out and it was 1:00 am and the sweetness of this was giving me slaps to the face. It is probably the SWEETEST fragrance I have ever smelled. Fantasy (popular sweet scent) has some fruits in it that balance the white chocolate/cupcake. This has very sweet elements and the fruits are incredibly sweet (To the point that it actually smells like burnt caramel/sugar). If YOU love sweet scents, get this. If you don't, stay away because it is strong. I sprayed 5 times and it was bit much tbh, but I do love the smell and the ridiculous longevity this has.

THUMBS UP

Lauraa5

This fragrance was.....not good. I was expecting a strong gourmand delicacy and received an extremely synthetic light gummy bear ish scent that honestly made me nauseous. I had high hopes based on reviews and other PH fragrances I’ve smelled. Maybe I got a bad one from frangrancenet but this one was synthetic, mildly gummy bear in the most boring way psossible, simple, fleeting, boring, plain, a waste of time.

Stasi

I love it! I've had it for years. If you don't overspray it's just a nice light sweet fruity halo of sugary goodness. It's my favorite gourmand scent. It doesn't have burnt caramel undertones like Pink Sugar does.

I just wanted to leave a review to say that I was recently wearing Refuge Nights by Charlotte Russe (not in the database) and someone pointed out it smelled like Can Can. So, if you need a cheaper alternative, there's that.

lnoskin

I got this in a swap and didn't realize it would be so sweet! Way to sweet for me. This reminds me of something I would have worn when I was 15. I like fruity and sweet perfumes, but this was too much for me. It just smelled sugary to me.

simplegeek

The bottle:
Little disappointing. Bottle is too simple looks like nobody really cared how it would look like.

Inside the bottle:
Luckily the smell is better then how the bottle looks like. When sprayed you smell the mixture of nectarine and amber. The smell is very generic It's a typical sweet fruity scent. I sprayed the scent on my wrist, neck and clothing and it lasted for a few hours on my wrist and clothes, but on my neck it lasted way longer!

Overall:
This perfume is okay but really it's boring. If your looking for something that is simple, sweet, light or starting to wear perfume this one will be great start. Can be great for someone who loves to wear amber scent or something to wear to work.

DewiShinta15

For me its so white flowery till the end. opening with sugar burnt, honey flower and green note.
I love it, its more then i expected. Nice perfume for really hot day

Sweetnsexy

This reminds me of Christmas. Go outside in the snow come back in and drink hot cocoa and watch Christmas movies. That's what this smells like. I love it! I will always wear this during the holidays.

ougrics

I read below so much negativ comment...well, I just simply adore it. I feel myself younger and inspired from this sweet but spicy perfume. It warms my feelings, I can't be negative wearing this. To me it does not smell fruity at all. Don't hesitate, buy it!

MoonCandy

Another wonderful girly fragrance. Can Can is sugary, sweet, and amazing. It has hints of berry. I feel like it even has a peachy tone. I absolutely love this fragrance. It easily made my top 5 list.

Addysky94

Of the two Paris Hilton perfumes I've owned-her name sake being the other-I like this one more. Where as the Paris Hilton perfume opens with an intense melon note and dries down to a slightly fruity/melon-y fresh and aquatic scent;this opens with an in your face nectarine opening and then warms to sensual Amber and what might be the black currant for that extra sweet scent. After that, this turns into a nectarine infused cotton candy on my skin, which to me is not that bad but is understandable why this is not a favorite of others.Because, yes, this is a very SWEET scent that if it came any closer to the edge, would be entirely too sweet and sickening. But it is my favorite Paris Hilton line perfume so far. Even though I wish it had more depth. As for longevity, it was not too shabby. I could still catch wiffs of it 3-6 hours later, with soft sillage.

KVM

This smells kinda like liquorice/ burnt sugar to me, unfortunately I don't get the sweetness that everyone mentions here, not a fan of this scent but I loved can can burlesque.

Diane05

Very sweet, gourmand.goes well with a spritz of eu so fabulous by Isaac Mizrahi .Or even a fruity perfume like Guess New by Guess.

alamolady35

For years, during my high school years I always wore the original paris hilton perfume, but when this came out - i tossed that bottle away and this one took its place! its so much more fun! this is absolutely her best scent by far. So yummy!

ladyjm89

Of all PH perfumes this one is by far the best, although it’s still not outstanding. Sillage and longevity are not great, but the scent is pretty nice. I get a caramel popcorn, cotton candy vibe from it, its definitely not a fragrance that takes itself seriously. It’s probably something you’d spritz on to stroll through a local fair or carnival, maybe keep it in your purse for a trip to an amusement park. It’s carefree and inoffensive, girlish and fun. I like it, but it’s not a love.

lolitavanilla

It is not a complex sophisticated perfume but everyone around you will notice it. It's Barbie outgoing in a bottle. Men love it. Out of all my perfumes my man prefers this one. Gets happy when he walks in and can smell this. Its cheap to buy so I don't feel bad about spraying liberally.

mamakatt38

This just smells cheap, in a very bad way. I love sweet scents so I thought I'd like this but the cheapness turns me off. It's screechy, loud and tacky. Yuck.

anneschrock1982

This is a very nice scent but I do not get the comparison to Pink Sugar at all. I own both and they are nothing alike to me. With Can Can I get a very fresh fruity opening that smells like peaches to me. It then dries down to a very syrupy rich peach smell that reminds me of peaches in a heavy sauce. It is sweet, cozy and warm but more in an amber way and not baked goods. I think this will be great for the fall and winter months. I don't love it but I do like it as a nice day scent. Just a small note it smells amazing layered with Body Fantasies Vanilla body spray. It smells more gourmand that way if it is your thing. I think this is a safe buy almost everyone would like.

jansiri

Upon first spray I smell nectarine however on the skin this perfume translates into pure cotton candy. I wouldnt say this perfume is sickly but it is on the edge of it. Im not usually a fan of celebrity fragrances but this quite a pleasant one.

pinkhavasu

I was given this as a gift. I have been pleasantly surprised by celebrity fragrances before, so I gave it a chance. That did not happen here. At first spray I was attacked by a sickeningly sweet artificial berry smell. It dries down smelling cotton candy esk. It reminds me of the girls' locker room in middle school, when all 30 girls sprayed they're various body sprays at once. Cheap and sweet. I'll pass on this one.

Beadvised

I guess this is one of her only fragrances that can be tolerated and not enjoyed. It's all cheap smelling over the top. Artificial flowers or candy. Very childish and kind of gross. I will wear a fragrance that cost this price or lower so don't think I'm snobby lol. For example I love still Jennifer Lopez it's super cheap and one of my favorites and doesn't smell horrible like Paris Hiltons fragrances.

Mrs.Allard

To me this is a candy scent, fizzy soda in the top notes and softens into powdery sweet tarts. I used to wear this for a short period before I knew about Fragrantica and about which notes are in it so I guess my mind made up its own interpretation of the scent. I only wore this occasionally because I found it too artificial and maybe even a bit juvenile for my tastes at the time. Now I'm a little more laid back and accepting of most any scent category and I don't mind smelling like powdery candy and fizzy soda on a casual day.

emilythorne

First spray delicious nectarines, they are gone in like 10 minutes max and then you are left with the most bland and boring scent that almost smells like nothing.

Coco2u

Reminds me alot of Kimora Lee Simmons Fabulosity except a bit sweeter; a sweeter pineapple scent to me (though this fruit is not listed as an ingredient - it must be the peach and clemetine).
Longevity is average, about 4 hours. A very sweet-fruity pineapple scent that's especially nice for spring and summer.

ofir.derri

Hands down, this is the SWEETEST fragrance I've ever smelled, so so SWEET that people asked me to stop wearing it, and let me tell you what - I NEVER STOPPED.
Miss Hilton, girl, you nailed it.

thinkingswan

cream soda, spun sugar, Dr. Pepper lesbian fantasy smell... reminds me of a sweet summer affair (◡‿◡✿)

Burgundy Jayde

I am wearing this today and it smells very nice if applied sparingly. Its soft and sweet, fruity and tart twith orange with powdery top notes with a tinge of woody amber vanilla to finish. The bottle is very feminine with a feather on it. I love Paris Hilton she blew a kiss to me once in Hollywood. I am very happy with this purchase because it has a great sillage that may be too overpowering and smells like I just applied it even though its been a few hours. I do not think it smells like cotton candy like alot of people are saying its more tart and fruity. I am very happy with this fragrance. Its a very nice spring and summer fragrance in my opinion.

Jazieboo7410

Hot cotton candy. I'm not a fan of cotton candy scents so this did not work for me but if you like sugary sweet scents this is perfect. It has a very warm vibe to it and is very strong so I wouldn't suggest wearing this in the summer as it can be quite cloying.

andonirdc

This little fragrance reminds me so much of Las Vegas ! Maybe it's because I bought it over there for a steal at Marshall's but I feel like the scent itself is quiet representative of the big picture you might have from Las Vegas : the heavy sun, dollars flowing, the girls shaking their asses on the street (in front of the "policewoman" ones with uber sexy outfits ahah), the loud music in Fremont Street, the huge billboards on the Strip that try to catch you eye with their over the top powerful lightnings, the strip clubs ("Hey guys, you wanna go to the strip club tonight ? Free shuttle !"), blurry night-outs and above-all, this fragrance personifies the fake-chic atmosphere of Las Vegas which in reality is trashy instead and embodies extreme debauchery ! Even the promo picture of Paris in a CanCan-Burlesque-fluffy-kitsh club fits the souvenirs I have from there...

The fragrance itself if fruity-musky, nothing exceptional but it manages to provoke all these feelings nonetheless... When I feel nostalgic of my time in Las Vegas, I spray this. I don't need to spray it all over, just a tiny little spray for my own enjoyment (this I don't want to share ahah). I even find the cat-piss felling given by the blackcurrant enjoyable.

To give a fair short review of the scent and to conclude : the first 30 minutes I feel the the blackcurrant and nectarine the most with little orangery clementine. The nectarine and the blackcurrant linger but leave some room for the heavy synthetic musk and amber. The floral notes are non-existent on me. It lasts around 3-4 hours on my skin and lingers after that time as a very very soft musky skin scent. That's not my type of perfume at all but I will keep it for the sake of sensations it manages to provide me ! A real treasure of mine in some sense. :)

Colour: FLUFFY SHINY DEEP NEON RED

lmwimsatt

why does this smell like Dr pepper?

verity3

This scent reminds me strongly of baby powder, but fresher. (Do I detect the faintest hint of Demeter Fresh Hay?) Like Dazzle, only with different fruits. In fact, it seems very much that different ingredients were used to arrive at the same space Dazzle occupies: powdery floral-fruity, though Can Can is less intense (a good thing, to me). Unfortunately, I don't think I need both in my collection, and I enjoy Dazzle's cherry-soda vibe a bit more.

ninastarsong

Paris Hilton Bravo! I bought this on a whim and it is a yummy, flirty, candy sweet and sassy scent! It's not sweet like pink sugar, a bit more Sophisticated and floral ...maybe the white wine notes....lots of layers, colorful...with depth which makes it really sexy. My man loves this scent. Perfect for a date night! Reminds me of VSecret scents.

blanc.noir

I know this isn't exactly a sophisticated fragrance, or the most mature for that matter, but I love it. It smells like sweet delicious candy but there's something about it that entices me. I have other celebrity perfumes that smell like candy aswell, but I don't enjoy them nearly as much as I do this. To me this kind of smells like syrupy, sugary sweet raspberries (I'm guessing it's the nectarine/black currant combo?) and dries down with that and a slight mix of vanilla and powder. It's sooo good, and price wise it's pretty cheap.

peace_flower

This is so sweet is makes me want to pass out, like being hit on the head with pure, cloying, miserably synthetic sweet tarts or sour punch straws. This smells how I would expect Paris to smell - synthetic feminity and bizarre infantilization.

Contessa01

I love this! It is just pure fun and a great and legitimately good vanilla fragrance that doesn't cost you a fortune but doesn't smell cheap. Seriously highly considered favorite alongside my Hanae Moroi Butterfly. It smells like a party, like, dancing, like music, and having a good time.

drugstore classics

CanCan is an example of why I feel compelled to test everything scented in sight!

Why?

Because you just never know....

Usually I find celebrity scents to be too fruity/floral/tropical/juicy/bland. Just so average they might as well be shampoo.

CanCan SHOULD have fit into that category of mine -

but didn't after all!

Despite all the fruit listed, I only smell fruit at the beginning. After the vague fruitiness wears down I'm left with plastic dolly skin. You know, the expensive smell of a cabbage patch doll or similar plastic wonder? This is creamy-powdery goodness that I find strangely appealing and totally addictive on a cold winter's day.

So... sniff on. You never know what treasures your nose will uncover in unexpected guise!

92amamar

I don't like this one. It's all up on your nose and makes it hard to breath thru the thick sweet overwhelming scent (not nice). Would say it fits best for a 14-16 year old.

tyekristopher

whenever I smell can can it makes me just want to dance! I love the whole theme behind it, the ad is so fun! It's super sweet, its very warm and yummy. I used to wear fantasy but It would give me really bad headaches everytime I wore it. My ex got headaches from fantasy too, so he ended up getting me this at the hospital he worked at because back then when I was a britney fan so he thought I would like can can, I wore paris hilton before and that was her first one which I LOVE, so I did love can can, it will always have a special place in my heart. I do wear this often and it wears very well in the fall it's my go to aside from fancy by jessica simpson and sarah jessica parker fragrances, I do honestly think paris hilton and jessica simpson have the best scents and that makes sense since parlux is the same company behind their lines.

shauna.parra

I wanted this to smell sexier, sluttier, like a perfume to wear while stripping at a strip club for no reason other than to smell like I'm a stripper. But no such luck.

Can Can also doesn't smell like I would imagine a French can can dancer at the Moulin Rouge would smell. This is a pretty ordinary fruity floral fragrance. The fruitiness comes in the form of sweet apricot nectar, a little peach, and citrus. Smells a bit like fruit shampoo. Not bad though. Then there's an orchid. I swear orchid must be Paris Hilton's favorite flower. The orchid is nice but only adds to the sweetness. The dry down is a light wood.

It's cheap and ordinary doesn't make a statement, easy to wear to any place you can name even where you work. I don't like the look of the bottle although I like the advertisements and the Can Can dress. It still doesn't match up with a can can dress though. It's a cute sweet girly fruity perfume. Innocent even.

I wish Paris Hilton would do her homework and actually learn how to make her own perfumes. She models and dresses for the fragrance ads and that's about it. But o well.

Mimosatique

Another scent purchased at deeply discounted rate ($9), and another celeb scent that i ventured into...

It's a very warm /sultry cotton spun sugar with soft musk. I can't distinguish apart the notes here, didnt get black currant, most the times black currants ares soapy-musk-clean with my chemistry as I'm glad Can Can did not take a turn this way. Dry down is a soft musk with itsy bitsy sprinkled sugar-powder vibe. Wood notes never make an appearance.

A good, fun, flirtatious scent.
Projection: mid range
Longevity: 2 hours

Hopiesmom

Just about made me ill, it is so sickeningly sweet. That was the top of my gourmand threshold. So I know I just need to stay lower than that with such like La Vie Est Belle, Juicy Couture Gold, etc. I found it to be the same sickening sweetness as Jessica Simpson Fancy. Although I must add, I gave it to my 12 year old daughter and she likes it.

Floral Bitch

Looks like Fantasy & LVEB made a baby!
he scent is to die for, but the sillage and longetivy aren't as good. seriously, a big lost to sweet fragrances lovers.

Bella1

My Indian dermatologist complimented me on
This fragrance, said it's reminiscent of the Indian oils
He recalls from his country.
Also received many compliments on this young,
Flirty, fun, yummy long lasting goodie.

remmz

REALLY WANNA TRY THIS

Lucky7z

This kinda reminds me of Britney Spears Fantasy with a twist. Staying power on me is really good too! I get lots of compliments when I wear this.

Fruity candy with hints of musk!!! The light musk, nectarine and black currant notes stand out the most on me!!

I have this both in the perfume and body mist and for both the longevity is long lasting and sillage is moderate then softens up. This one is always a repeat purchase for me.

dglightblue

Sweet, candy, light, warm, acceptable one dimensional scent, probably reasonably priced where everyone is compared to the high end brands.
Sort of like the pink round bottle that Britney Spears does.

Tiflangela

Smells very sweet like cotton candy at first. The drydown brought out a salty amber smell on me, which smelled like warm sand at the beach. Not unpleasant but not what I expected. This seems like a fragrance that would be better for a teen or early 20's young woman.

phoebe25

I like this scent very much. It is fresh, and very light.
I do know rasberry isn´t one of the notes, but to me, it smells of of it. It makes me think of summer, and Im gonna buy it again. This time in a 100 ml bottle.

relativelystoic

Crazy, but this reminded me of BBW's Forever Sunshine.

tea-with-rissa

This was my first real perfume as a child, and I am still in love with it today. It is very strong, so use sparingly! It is fun and flirty and perfect for a warm summer day.

candieslove

I like it a sweet scent its really a nice scent also the bottle is pretty simple which i really like about the bottle. And the box is also pretty simple.

THIS IS A REALLY A NICE SWEET SCENT!

like whoa yeah

This was my first ever perfume ..my sister had a little tester bottle and i keept trying to steal it lol.but i got it and as my perfume addiction went on i still found a special time for can can.i love can can mostly on cold dreary winter and fall days. Its just the season when this fragrance has done the most for me...now this Can Can Burlesque business yes i own one but to me its just a realy poorly mad can can ...so im not about it like i am the original. So my advice qould be to stick with this lovley original...

Moonlightbae

Honestly, At first I thought this was going to be a huge let down since I owned "Can-Can BURLESQUE" earlier but I was wrong this was a better scent tha the burlesque version. I loved the simpler design of this and this perfume was easier to bring to school since there are no other Designs or ornaments on the bottle. The scent is very cozy and I really feel sleepy when I wear this to school which is a bad idea cos I end up being sent to detention I love this for sleepy nights or slumber parties. I love the candy sweetness of this but for a day perfume i suggest the burlesque version since it is a Darker or more lively version of this over all I loved this perfume!!

Box - 7/10 (Its just Paris in some flamenco or cancan dress which is a let down)
Bottle - 10/10 (Simplicity is beauty and this bottle is very Durable it fits in the bag easily and people wont be attracted by the bottle)
Scent 10/10 (Lala love this scent since forever

EllenD1991

Used to wear this in college because a friend had it and it smelt amazing on her. Bought it, and it was way too sweet on me unfortunately; don't get me wrong I did wear it but I ended up giving the rest to one of my other friends towards the end! One thing I will say is that the sillage and longevity is very impressive for a cheaper scent. Bottle is pretty aswell. Wouldn't buy again though :(

Seemi

I bought can can unsniffed, it came across very candy sweet and decadent. I didn't use my bottle so I gave it away to a better home someone who would appreciate and use it. The price was very cheap it's a great choice for a teen or young adult. For a cheap celebrity fragrance the lasting power was great. I highly recommend if you like sweet fragrances.

SoheePark

I couldn't help but notice the design. Outspoken by Fergie, anyone??

Suzybee

Yes, Can Can do!! I bought the fragrance mist on a whim today and I gotta say, it's a lovely sweet gourmand, way better than Pink Sugar which has an undesirable burnt sugar note my nose is averse to.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Paris Hilton knows perfumes.

mermaidmin

I have a 0.5 oz bottle of this one! It's very sweet fruity candy scent. I love sweet scents but only when I'm at home! I don't want to smell like candy at work. Moreover this one is dark yet comforting, helps me to fall alseep or calm down. So, I use this usually followed by a shower,I read some books/magazine, listen to some music, dab PH Can Can/Hugo Deep Red/Hypnotic Poison depending on my mood onto skin and fall asleep.
So, this a every night scent to me not everyday! This smells a lot like Britney Spears Fantasy.

As I have very dry skin no perfume stays not more than 3 hours. So does this one. On my clothes it stays upto 2 days. And the dry down is very comforting almost makes me dizzy. Sillage is moderate though!

My tiny bottle is almost finish, thinking to get a full one.

ladyinpink

I love it. I am gonna get the eau de perfume soon.
I tried the body spray and omg it smells like thirry mugler alien edt on me!!
So when i rund out of alien, no problem o found something as good and smells very similar to it on my skin. In love <3

theangryraisins

This was one of my first perfumes. I asked for it as a gift one Christmas because I read in Seventeen magazine that a male celebrity whose name I can't even remember said this was his favorite perfume on a girl. Shallow reason to purchase, or in my case ask, for a perfume, but I was all of 14 when this happened so bear with me. It's gone off as I've had it for 8 years but I still keep it in my possession for nostalgic purposes. Besides, even though to my nose it's clearly gone off, it still doesn't smell that awful.

hithorys

Pack your bags, because this will transport your mind to summer. Fresh clothes on a line, a warm breeze, sunny sky, new flowers in bloom, and, did I mention you're walking through a grapefruit orchard?

THAT is the essence of Can Can.

-I also review perfumes safe for migraine sufferers and this one has neither caused one nor aggravated one.

Neckromancer

Burnt sugar:( Something bitter. I am not happy with it. When I smell it, I think of the color brown. It's not burnt in the way that Pink Sugar is. Pink sugar is "burnt" because of the licorice, and it has a dry sort of smell. This one is juicy, and I smell burnt sugar and no peaches.

Edit: It smells like corn syrup. Maybe molasses? Just thick and sugary. So overwhelmingly sweet! Not a scent I'd wear everyday.
If you're thinking of getting a cotton candy perfume, don't buy this. Do not blind buy this perfume. On my skin it smells like this brown liquid medication I once had. I think this is the worst scent I've ever smelled, and I'm sad to say this.

Cocotea

I tested this at the drug store this morning with the intention to buy (Who can resist a $10 perfume? Not me that's for sure!). Anyway I think this smells like syrup looks coming out of a bottle. Thick and sweet and cloying and heavy. I love sweet scents but this one is just too much. And I do not find it smells like Sensual Amber from BBW. I own that one and spray myself liberally without choking to death. I used one spritz of Can Can and one spritz is enough. I will give it that, it's long lasting and silage is excellent. I'm disappointed that I can't get it because I think the bottle is cute.

abbyofthevalley

I have not been fond of any Paris Hilton fragrances that I've tried until this one. Even having said that, this one took a second chance for me to come to appreciate it. It's not cheap and generic smelling compared to the others. This one has a gentle dry down that is simple, sweet, and fruity. None of the notes jump out to me, they just blend well into each other. It is not synthetic or sharp smelling in any way. It's just nice, feminine, with decent longevity that's safe and wearable for anytime.

projectalice345

My friend in LA can wear this so well. It smells totally different on her, I bought it thinking it would act the same on my body but it doesn't do the same thing. Body chemistry is so different for everyone is amazing.

Jojopie

This smells juicy, sweet, tart, and spicy all in one fragrance. First thing I smell reminds me of a watermelon jolly rancher, then there's something of a dark vanilla cotton candy smell and finally a drydown of vanilla powder at the end. In theory this shouldn't work, but it's like a whimiscal orchestra on my skin.

VioletNoir

Can can smells very feminine and flirty. I can almost imagine a stripper or escort wearing something like this, definitely, not that this is something to be proud of lol! but i really do love the way it smells. i love perfume that smells feminine yet clean and this does smell that way. You sort of have to spray ALOT on to be able to smell it but thats ok. I really really like this, its sweet ...almost like your in a sweet, soft bubble ....very soft and girly.

Alovethatwasmorethanlove

I never really was a huge fan of Paris therefore I never really thought to give her perfumes a view, but my cousin and best friend are fans of Paris and both favor Can Can and I have kind of always thought it to be pleasant.

Its very sweet, cotton candy is the closest thing i can think of to describe it as.Since i liked Can Can my friend suggested i try a few others, and i've come to find i like just about all of her perfumes.

Her fragrances tend to be cheap but they don't smell it. they smell expensive and classy so no one ever has to know that you did not sell your soul for the perfume.

bluehydrangea

I was first attracted to Paris Hilton's fragrance line by her incredibly reasonable prices. Her perfumes don't smell cheap, and you aren't paying an arm and a leg.. ever. There is no losing in that situation, is there?

What can I say.. Can Can is beautiful. It is sweet and cotton candy-esque.. safe to wear anytime/anywhere. It makes me happy... it's upbeat and is definitely a go to scent for me.

Also, if you find that you enjoy this fragrance, I would highly recommend checking out Can Can's sister scent.. called Can Can Burlesque.

purpleribbons

I love how this smells like sugar and cotton candy when there's no notes suggesting that haha. Recently blind bought this and so glad I did, this is quickly becoming my signature scent. It starts off super sweet, but dries down to a nice powdery amber scent that stays close to the skin. Lasting power sucks, but I find that if I spray it on my clothes it lasts a lot longer. I love pairing this with my Bath and Body Works Cashmere Glow lotion, the combination those two make smells amazing. This is a pretty good all year round scent, the amber makes it suitable for wear in the colder months, but it's not so strong that it becomes cloying in warmer weather.

nitschevo

Totally agree with the reviewer below me. I received a sample of this and just dabbed a tiny tiny bit on the back of my hand and boy is this intense. At the beginning it smells like the raspberry Maoam candy if anyone is familiar with those. But that quickly fades and I have to agree that this is not a standard sugary sweet scent. It has development and depth and while I still get that sweet and juicy vibe I also detect a musky and ambery side which intensifies during the dry down. I give it credit but it's not my style.

Edit: The dry down reminds me of Flowerbomb EDP without the patchouli. If that makes sense.

PinkMelon

Can Can is nectar heavy. It's incredibly sweet, but with a powdery finish.

Might be too heavy if you don't like powdery gourmands. I like this fragrance however. It's flirty & playful. Definitely don't want to over spray it either. That black currant is definitely sugary. I love the nectarine. I like this for fall. Summer can make the sweetness a little too sticky. Cooler weather really brings out that warm amber nicely. As far as this being a young scent...it starts out that way. The dry down however is not so young. It can be quite sensual depending how you wear it.

Profumella

Smells like blackcurrant and I don't like it it's too sweet maybe made for teenagers. If you like those most sweet Victoria's secret fruit fragrances you may like this also

carla.valencia

Considered making this my signature scent at some point but after trying more sweet perfumes I'm not sure anymore. This special perfume, in my opinion, is really good maybe the best of Paris (I've smelled all of her perfumes minus with love, heiress and St. Moritz) not too sweet to the point of being sickening like Britney Fantasy which is the only perfume I can't stand and well made, really sweet but with a touch of fruits that makes for a well rounded gourmand scent. The first minutes is a little fresh but still sweet in a delicious way then it turns into what I consider the almost awesome part that smells like a sweet beverage but in a delicious not sickening way and last the drydown that is not that special but still good ol' vanilla with nice amber and wood that is also well made. Recommended for anyone 19-100.

hailes_xx

This is a bubbly, talkative, sweet perfume. It took me a long time to get used to it, and even longer to enjoy it.

If this perfume were a friend, she would be your annoyingly happy friend. The one where when you're stressed, need to focus, or have something serious to attend to, you shouldn't go near.

However, for a fun day, being social, hanging out with friends, or trying to impress a few boys, she gives you the extra pep you need to feel confident. I like wearing this perfume for sort of boring, non stress days--because this perfume makes those days a bit more fun!

However, if you need to do some serious thinking, or have serious work to do, don't invite her along!

ChloeBaldino

This is a super fruity and yummy perfume. On me it smells like pink lemonade with a hint of cotton candy/marshmallow. Love at first spray. It's like juicy peach-blackberry bubblegum. Sweet and soft, a tiny bit tart if you're looking for the sour note. Unfortunately this perfume dries down super fast and super soft, so silage and longevity are a huge disappointment. While the dry down is very pretty and almost powdery, like a colored marshmallow smell, it is too weak. My assistant commented on me smelling nice, but I was literally right next to her, maybe an inch away. I can't smell it on myself after about 20 minutes which really sucks. I also have the Can Can body spray which I use with the perfume and it doesn't seem to enhance the strength of the fragrance too much. Also, I will warn you that this does have that artificial candy smell in the dry down. It reminds me of the smell of a lollipop and makes the perfume seem just a tiny bit spicy/musky? It's a tad synthetic but I don't think it ruins the fragrance or anything. It's a shame that this scent doesn't last on me because I really like it. I don't think I would buy again because I really don't like having to reapply every 2 hours :/ This actually makes me feel like it was almost a waste of my money, and I spent less than $30 on a 3.4 oz bottle and 8 oz bottle of the body mist. Because of the softness and lack of longevity, I would say this is a good perfume for younger girls, maybe in high school because it is sweet and subtle, and I don't think anyone who isn't a perfumaniac would be upset that the scent isn't strong and doesn't last. Could also just be my skin chemistry though! This is the kind of fragrance I would wear for a night in with my boyfriend, maybe watching movies. Probably a good perfume for a girl's day out at the river or something because it's kind of fluffy, sweet, inoffensive, and something somebody would need to be close to me in order to smell. Not a show stopper but not a bad addition to your fragrance collection :)

Addict2Perfume

Can Can by Paris Hilton turned out to be nothing like what I was expecting after reading the reviews. To me the opening was similar to Flowerbomb. The amber is so sweet smelling that it smells more like caramel than amber in my opinion. The nectarine note appears to be smothered by the black current and in the dry down all I get is a semi-musky clementine with a slight woodsy note, but the over sugared amber note remains. I was expecting something more fruity teeny bopper –ish, but this turned out to be more of a semi-spicy faux gourmand. The bottle is fun and for the price I certainly got what I was expecting, but I guarantee Parisian Can Can dancers smell nothing like this…just Paris Hilton.

vattenmelon

oh my god, SO sweet! and young...marsmallows cotton candy and black currant...its way too sweet for my taste but if you like sweet scents you would like to eat, this is for you!

Contessa01

Sugary syrupy sweetness. I could see a dancer doing the can can in this! If you like Britney Spears fantasy and pink sugar you'll like this one.
