Prada Candy Florale by Prada is a Floral Fruity Gourmand fragrance for women. Prada Candy Florale was launched in 2014. The nose behind this fragrance is Daniela (Roche) Andrier. Top note is Limoncello; middle note is Peony; base notes are Honey, Caramel, Musk and Benzoin.

Prada Candy Florale is the third fragrance from the Prada Candy collection. The original Candy was launched in 2011, followed by Candy L'Eau in 2013, with Candy Florale expected on the market from April of 2014. Perfumer Daniel (Roche) Andrier created all three of them.

Prada Candy Florale is announced as an exciting floral fragrance full of life and sensuality, inspired by an imaginary flower that smells like candy or a bouquet of flowers standing on the counter of an ice cream shop in Italy. This romantic and powdery composition contains accords of limoncello sorbet the top, flower of peony in the heart and the base composed of benzoin, musk, caramel and honey.

The bottle and box are of standard signature design, this time colored in soft shades of pink and decorated with flowers motifs. Actress Léa Seydoux is the face of the campaign again. The fragrance is available as 30, 50 and 80 ml Eau de Toilette.

Smells very fresh and floral. It’s a little headache inducing if you spray too much, it’s a little reminiscent of Marc Jacobs perfumes. Lemon rind and peony dishsoap. Springtime scent. Lacks sweetness. I think this would work on a gorgeous kunty middle aged girl.

Greyscales

Honestly wasn't super big on it at first, but it's grown on me. It smells super fresh, kinda like standing between the fruit and flowers at a grocery store. It really makes me feel super confident.

LSAUG

This smells a bit plastic to me. I'm not a fan of this line. The only one I really love is Candy kiss. This is a very generic peony w/ lemon scent. It is also a bit screechy. Smells like some bad body spray you would buy in the dollar store. Laundry/dryer sheet musk dry down.

ipuks3

Sākumā citrusiņš ir ļoti atspirdzinošs. Tad nāk ziediņi un tad neuzbāzīgs saldumiņš.

waskotransportation

To me this feels like a soapy scent. It doesn't smell like Chloe but it's kind of similar. Hard to explain. It feels like a clean soapy vibe. So much better than what it's being compared to, body sprays and the like. So much better.
I think I have found a signature scent using this perfume. I combined it with Skyler boardwalk. The two of those together are so perfect. This boardwalk adds more sweetness, kind of like a candy vibe. The two of them together is what I thought Prada candy original should have smelled like.

Gauxchujang

A pleasant clean fragrance for the girly girl who doesn’t like perfume. It smells like you just have some great bath products. Doesn’t have the intensity I wish it had but I definitely see the appeal. Unfortunately, not my taste but I’ll keep it around for those days when I might not feel like wearing a “fragrance”.

SophiaViolette

Citrusy and floral opening, inoffensive, crowd-pleasing. The peony is so fresh and real!

Then, I quickly get musky notes, and a sweetness similar to marshmallow. I’ve smelled a few marshmallow perfumes, and some have this type of marshmallow smell. Although here, it can be due to the honey-caramel-musk together.

Weak longevity, at-dry down can’t smell much, similar to floral shampoo…

This is so pretty, I want to lick my hand!

gourmand_girlie

To me this smells like a jasmine-scented (I know it's not listed but it smells like it's there) hairspray, that dries down to a powdery indistinct-white-floral hairspray.

Nothing else, not very memorable, pretty synthetic. There are a lot of beautiful white-floral fragrances out there, and this wasn't one of those for me.

Jordan 99

This perfume would be my very favorite if it last longer than hour, I don’t usually have problems with longevity of fragrances on my oily skin, so this is really weak. I actually got second bottle from Ulta (first one was from Macys) because I just thought I got some bad batch at first, but again it has longevity of body mist, really sad - it smells lovely. I’m fresh floral type of gal so this scent is unique to me, if I knew notes I wouldn’t probably even try it, because I can’t stand gourmand and sugary scents, although it has caramel and limoncello notes, it still has those fresh floral vibes and OMG those peonies❤️. My husband loves it on me, this is probably only fragrance we both agree on, so next time I just try to buy this one on eBay, maybe knock off would be stronger.

Lollo

I like it. Fresh, girly, happy but with a musk base and very good lastning power on clothes.

light, clean sweetness. i smelled this blind and guessed all the notes wrong tbh. opens with a citrusy cleaner scent and stays very whitening. floral and fresh. this is sharper than candy kiss without its powder, but shares the same chemical cleanness that is a little unappealing to wear.

Lunaria820

The opening was just awful. That Limoncello was so sharp, it smelled like a chemical. Then the chemical smell gave way to the floral. (I love florals, white florals in particular, but all florals really.) I was outside in my backyard playing with my kids during the transition from top to mid, and body was warming up as well. I'm pretty new to the fragrance world so my nose isn't that well developed, but i didn't really like the middle floral note either. Maybe because i was still traumatized from the Limoncello... Then the dry down was soapy and clean, which i liked. I have Prada candy and candy night (which i haven't played with too much) and this didn't give me any Candy DNA whatsoever. I'm not keeping this, i didn't enjoy it. Buh bye

tally2ball

This is decently floral as the name implies. That being said, I am extremely picky with my floral fragrances--Most just don't do it for me, too sharp, burns my nose, or give me headaches/nausea. This is a floral I can handle though. So might be worth a try if you are not a big floral fan, but want to add some diversity to your collection.

canabena

Bought this assuming it would be sweet since its apart of the Prada Candy line I didnt realize it would be such a pungent floral scent. Its more so a mature floral scent which really isnt my kind of vibe I much prefer a sweeter youthful floral. It settles very well on the skin and after while you get the caramel notes just not for me. I wouldnt repurchase.

scentssilly

I loved the initial spray, a soft, powdery floral but upon dry down it lost any and all appeal. And most of the scent. It was gone within 30 minutes. If only it lasted; this would absolutely be a favorite of mine.

Izzyabutt

I am a Gourmand girl, and this is NOT Gourmand even though its a Prada Candy fragrance. This is a clean scent, it smells like laundry soap, just out of the shower clean. Its not offensive at all, but nothing I would wear often. I got this scent thru Scentbox and I will not be purchase a full bottle of this. This is why I like scentbox I get to try fragrances without spending a lot of money. I think this fragrance like like laundry with a hint of lemon pledge, my daughter says it smells like snuggles fabric softner. If you like clean scents this a fine scent to wear in the office.

celestial_

Not too sweet, not too floral. A lovely scent, if I could smell it for more than 15 minutes! No kidding - I think my skin eats this; I really struggle to even catch a faint whiff after it dries. This would be an amazing spring fragrance, but too expensive to have the lasting power of a body mist.

meetee

I absolutely love it! It's a burst of joy that makes me wanna cease the day! Reminds me of sunny and warm spring mornings. It's girly, flowery and elegant. A little bit synthetic but not irritating at all. Nothing like the prada candy wich I totally hate.

giri-boni

Smells like Karina haispray.

Nephalia

I got this as a gift about 4 years ago, it was a nice subtle and really floral aroma. My boyfriend liked it more than i did since i found that it barely lasted when i sprayed it on me :( maybe it was just my ph being not compatible. I sprayed it in the morning to go to college and it faded by noon. It's a very innocent fragrance indeed, to be worn on the daily. The smell is kind of like something i have smelt on my grandma or elder aunts (not bad just very subtle and powdery), it's ok just not my thing.

jurl2021

At first, it reads as powdery and floral on my skin. It lasts a long time but the scent is nauseating.

tashwakefield

Well isn't this fragrance a hot mess! I still haven't tried the original Prada Candy, but this one reminds me of the synthetic florals my Mum had in the eighties. It's a like the headache enducing jasmine 'In Love' my Mum bought from our local Pharmacy which had been on the shelf too long. I don't think she every wore it but every now and then I would go into the bathroom cabinet and give it a whiff just to see if it was worth spraying. It never seemed to me to be useable and the scent has stuck in my memory like a Pink Poochie toy I owned as a girl. I can't help but wondering what their initial concept was when Prada brought out this line. It's unimaginable!

croppedhoodie

I’m so lost on why Prada released this as a candy flanker, they smell nothing alike! This smells like a sweeter/younger & less green version of Estée Lauder pleasures. Realistic peony, soapy, feminine. Nothing to write home about, but I’ll be passing my free sample onto my mother as pleasures is her signature scent & I think she’ll enjoy this :)

Cassis-2020

Smells like face cream or nivea classic

Lavender999

I tried the roll on version and it smelt straight up like nailpolish remover. Also smells very cheap. Smells like the cheap lilly perfume you can get from Kmart for much less price. Not for me.

(Update): it smells really nice now the florals need time warming up.

andrea806

I was so excited to recieve this since I have no idea what to expect. I’ve seen this online and never really tried in person. I got it today and I’m very happy with my purchase! To some people they may not like the smell of floral, a little citrus and musk in it. Once spray, you’ll smell the strong floral (peony) and hint of citrus (limoncello) and musk, but as hours pass by, it becomes subtle and light fragrance that lingers to your nose and to anyone who smells it. The citrus lingers more throughout the time with a mix of floral. I couldn’t smell the honey or caramel to it. I love it!

cemeteryfairy

I actually had to return this, it’s definitely a scrubber for me. I don’t know if I got an old bottle or something but I sprayed this before going to the fair and I was with my friend and I kept smelling this horrendous, (god forbid I call it this) but “grandma perfume smell”. I thought maybe it was my friend but then I realized it was me. I got no lemon, no honey, just suffocating dusty dry fake flower smell. When I got home I sprayed it again when I was alone just to make sure and apparently it got on my throw pillow because when I sit on the couch I can smell this perfumes eternal stench like a week later.

bel.gravia

Smells edible.
As if you took limoncello, added a generous spoon of honey and caramel. Threw in peony essence. Done.
It is a linear sweet peony perfume. Loads and loads of honey and caramel. It is lovely and long lasting.

Prada Candy Florale holds a special place in my heart, as it was the very first perfume I had ever developed an interest for. I first encountered this fragrance when I was in Grade 11 in 2014, which was exactly the year it was launched, and was totally captivated by both the promotional video and the stunning, exquisite light pink bottle. Back then I was only a high schooler and thus couldn't afford a bottle of this, considering the absurd price point here in Thailand. Now that I'm 23, I finally got my hands on it, and boy, was I smitten! This is truly worth all those years of waiting!

Although it is supposed to be a Candy flanker, Florale, by no means, inherits the gourmand-ish DNA of the original Candy - this is peony-dominant through and through. In fact, the peony is all I can smell upon the first application and throughout the entirety of the scent, except for the dry down perhaps. It is decidedly linear, but that doesn't necessarily mean it is terrible. Prada actually did an excellent job in capturing the scent of the peony since it smells so soapy, delicate, feminine, clean, refreshing and refined, all without being screechy or detergent-like; I'd say it is more reminiscent of a luxury soap you can find in luxury malls or five-star hotels. Once the fragrance reaches the base, a hint of limoncello, musk and maybe the faintest tinge of caramel begin to emerge, lending a sweet undertone to the floral composition.

Surprisingly, this actually has a solid performance on my skin, lasting up to 10 hours with 6 atomizations and moderate projection during the first two hours, then eventually turning into a skin scent. The fragrance is perfect for spring days, any occasion and any attire, but I reckon it pairs best with a girly, pink floral dress. If you tend to gravitate towards soapy florals, especially those that contain peony, chances are you will be pleased by this beautiful yet affordable offer from Prada. The scent evokes the mental image of an attractive, graceful young lady with a lithe body and fair, flawless skin in a light pink dress and a white floral-embroidered bucket hat who is sipping lemonade in a flower shop.

That being said, I must admit that this is not super innovative, and my perception and affection for Candy Florale might be rather subjective due to the nostalgia and it being of sentimental value to me. However, in my humble opinion, this is truly the scent that successfully embodies feminity and sophistication, and I thoroughly enjoy it. And for only $60 for an 80 ml? That's too good to miss :-)

kingjoanna

smells nice and sweet. the only prada candy that doesnt give me headache.

sassa7

I love peony and somehow with the woody bitterness of the intense musk here, caramel and benzoin, it comes off almost like violet on me, like a much lighter sweeter less bitter Lolita Lempicka EDT. There is something slightly dusty and sunny to my nose due to the honey and the limoncello intensifies that and keeps the perfume dry. I love the cooling sharp sourness of the limoncello. Now the honey always gives me that dusty floral feeling like daisies under the sun with bees all over them and this stays on me for about an hour. I am not getting much caramel but it is there, subtle reminding us this is Prada Candy along with the resin sweetness of the benzoin, like the real benzoin pieces I used to touch as a kid and they looked like they have powdered sugar so I wanted to eat them.
The drydown is honey+benzoin+musk+peony and it is sunny and powdery. It is not a warm composition though, but along the lines of some violet citrusy perfumes like MJ's Daisy, but this is more interesting, less crisp, less screechy due to the benzoin and lack of grapefruit. It actually made me think of Daisy and then I looked it up and saw violet as a note in Daisy, and like I said there is something quite violety to me here. The musk is intense and I love musk it helps it stay fresh and "cold". Its musk after 3 hrs of wear is alittle pungent, so this is a perfume I can mix with sweeter body mists. Lasting power is good, not as great as Candy Kiss or Candy Gloss, but adequate.

Update: the more I wear it, I realize it is very unique and I love the honey and benzoin combination, I can really detect both. The musk must become bitter from the caramel-peony-limoncello combo I am guessing. I detect that same caramel note in the OG, even tho it's more powdery there. Unique and perfect pairing of a cold musky floral background with the sweet Prada Candy dna and a romantic sunny vibe. I prefer wearing this perfume spring and summer right before the sun goes down. Also I adore this perfume for bed time in the summer, I always have happy dreams. The traces of it when I wake up smell divine. It always makes me feel that Im laying on a sunny field full of flowers and refreshing spring air.

Frangipanilove

I am not going to mince it here. This is one of the worst perfumes ever put onto market by a big name. Not because it would smell bad per se, but because it does not smell of anything at all. It has no character, it cannot even be described as a dainty, subtle scent; its just boring and flat. Nothing smells natural here, just a concoction of weak smelling but long lasting synthetics. Like picking up a plastic flower instead of a real one - except that the plastic flower would likely have more scent. Its a hard pass. Notes: synthetic peony on a non descript musk base. Having looked at some of the other reviews here I am wondering if I got a bad bottle somehow.

ME.fragrance

I really wanted to like this perfume as the notes listed seemed to be compatible with my taste but unfortunately it is VERY peony heavy. I get the tiniest hint of limoncello and no honey or sweetness which I was expecting. Just peony and amber. It is very fresh so will keep in the car for the very hot weather in the coming spring/summer seasons

thewildrosebud

I am sad to say I really dislike this fragrance. For me, it is totally personal. This perfume smells exactly like the hair salon where my mom would go when I was a kid. I don't have bad memories of the salon, but when I smell this perfume, all I think about is shampoo, hair dye, and other hair products. The connection is so strong that I was shocked when I first sprayed my tester of this perfume - I felt like I was back in that salon. Again, it isn't a bad memory, but I don't want to smell like shampoo.

Besides my own issues with this perfume, I think the sillage and longevity are pretty good. I can definitely smell this wafting around me and it has been over 4 hours since I first sprayed. I also tried to wash it off my wrists and can still smell it. I'm worried my coworkers will notice it and find it strong!

If you're looking for a soapy, clean, floral, this would be a good scent for you. Sadly, it is 100% not for me!

lorako

This was like a margarita mix and bug repellent blend. (I had hoped for limoncello and peony with caramel as promised here.) Tried it on several different occasions just to make sure it wasn't interacting strangely with some soap or detergent I had used on my skin or clothing. What a disappointment! Must be my personal chemistry. I had such a different experience of this than most of the reviewers here.

Lucky7z

Another one I've tried to like but can't....the peony in this makes me nauseated its too overwhelming IMO

This is the only one from Prada in the Candy line up I dislike and was disappointed by. Sample this before you buy..this is a love it or hate scent.

Bkrause

This smells super similar to Calvin Kline Eternity.

jadepo21

It’s a peony bomb that disappears within minutes. Lovely for that short time, though unremarkable. There is a slightly soapy residue in the dry down, but I have to bury my nose in it for even the slightest trace. Just too fleeting and generic for my taste.

Pat_Chouli

Candy Florale is like a sparkling lemon cocktail I can't stop sipping. Once I spray this, I keep reaching for a rush of the crisp fresh scent. It smells like laying in a field of flowers, drinking lemonade, and wearing a freshly laundered white linen dress.

Thanatos2116

A girl boss scent.

It's floral and fresh, yet it'll get sweeter after a while. The bottle is super pretty and girly.

I would recommend this to girls who want to have a fresh smelling perfume with a little bit of twist.

sehrzeb

I see other reviewers have made the comparison to Lancome Miracle as well, in fact this is so much in the general vein of Lancome signatures.

My problem is though that for such a high end scent-it costs as much as a Chanel at 100 ml- it is pretty generic and unmemorable. I cannot comment on the Prada Candy line in general as this is the only one I have tested but I assume there must be something unique about at least one of the scents in the line or I am baffled by the extent of the hype.

This is not a bad scent by any means: just an unexceptional one that is replicated pretty successfully by much less exclusive labels.

I can definitely detect the lemon sorbet note at the opening but this is at first and last a very modern floral heart. Too sweet to be sophisticated.

turkishgirl

@lemonjasmine: not they did not reformulated this :) i just bought a new bottle few days ago in sephora!!
but in france i heard they will discontinu this floral flanker :(

lemonjasmine

This is an absolute fave. I think it's so easy to wear.

I don't normally like soapy scents, but this is soapy in the same way a nice shampoo is.
You know how after you've showered, if you go back into the bathroom an hour later, the scent of the shampoo still lingers? This is the same smell for me.

It smells clean, crisp, and definitely floral. The peony reigns. Gourmand notes are not perceptible to me, and this is definitely very different than the original Prada Candy.

Longevity is incredible - for me, it lasts upwards of 24hrs on the skin and 48hrs on clothing. I just hope they haven't reformulated this since I bought my bottle in 2017! If the longevity is worse when I have to rebuy, I'd be pretty disappointed. ;)

hanak20

This perfume was my first signature scent when I was in high school. At the time, it was perfect for me: young, girly, playful, sweet, clean and flirty. The downside of this fragrance is its longevity and sillage, which are very very poor. I get away with 5-8 sprays until I'm satisfied (or else it's gone in an hour). Unfortunately, it got boring and uninteresting very quickly. Now that I'm in my 20s, I wouldn't purchase it again, although I enjoyed it for a brief amount of time. Wears the best in spring.

Ana81

I don't know about this one. It's not a love, very floral and soapy and not much else. I don't hate it, but I have many more cheaper fragrances that wear so much better than this one. I bought the gift set for candy gloss, candy kiss along with a 1.7 bottle of this. The other two were on sale and a paid less on each, even though they brought more than the individual bottle of this one. Gloss, Kiss and Florale are all very different IMO. I really like Gloss, I like kiss too, though I think I already own scents similar to it. Florale, the one I paid the most for, is the one I could have totally gone without. It's not terrible but Jo Malone peony suede is 10 times better. Also I think Oscar de la Renta has several perfumes similar to this one that are way better and cheaper.

floralscents88

my very first foray into prada fragrances. what a pleasant suprise! wasn't expecting to like it as I'm not really a fan of candy sweet scents, but it was on sale and I just could not resist the bottle. it would look good amongst my collection. 1 spray on my wrist this hot summer day, there's nothing candy about it. yes there is some mild sweetness on initial spray but that soon subsides to a rather soft, light and restrained floral scent. beautiful, inoffensive and work friendly. you'll probably think i'm weird for saying this but it smells like a lotion on me, like you are surrounded by a cloud of lotiony smell. i absolutely love this soft restrained type of fragrance.

ZB

I have a rollerball in this. It's my travel/vacation perfume because you can't really go wrong with it since it's so light and fresh. Also, a small size for TSA and I don't worry about it getting lost or broken.

oceanbreeze

The first time I smelled this fragrance, I absolutely loved it. However, the second time after a while later I tried it again and it annoyed me. Therefore, it all depends on the mood and maybe the weather. The scent is floral, strong and long-lasting on clothes.

Palmer Eldritch

SLightly lemony, soapy caramel peony fragrance. It smells beautiful and perfect for summer/spring.

I don't smell the honey note, rather it's not dominant. There is this creamy background note after 15 minutes of spraying that I usually associate with honey.

Really beautifully blended fragrance, it's nothing groundbreaking but it smells like a nice summer's day without being too florale, too citrusy or too gourmand. Would be nice if it lasted a little longer!

Moreluvr

Seems like a clean linen and Peony fragrance. Long lasting and strong. Sadly none of the Limoncello, caramel or honey. Really wanted to whole show! Barely got a kiss

mlrd217

This perfume smells nice and pretty but very soft. I sprayed twice on my shirt, I have to dig on my shirt to be able to smell it, but the longevity is okay. I sniff my shirt and the scent is barely there but I keep getting a whiff of it until 8 hours later. I smell some sweet lemon with some flowers. It smells clean like a nice clean soap. It is a very safe perfume and won't offend anyone.
It's pleasant but won't be love because it's too light for me. Pretty bottle though.
Ps. Now I wear this again when the weather is warmer(70-80F), it is actually SO good! It is delicious and fresh. It's not that great when the weather is colder. In spring/summer it is amazing.

goodnightluck

My favourite and only favourite from the entire Prada perfume collection. I find it bright, fresh, and a perfect sweet/floral fragrance. I thought before trying there would be no way they could make the original Prada Candy fresh and uplifting. I hated the original and all of the ones that followed. However; when this came out I decided to give it a try in the department store.

Like any perfume, I prefer to spray it on my skin to see how it reacts with my chemistry and how it changes over time. The first blast you definitely get some lemon, and the original Prada Candy DNA. But as the notes are listed, it starts to become more floral and the peony makes its debut. Once settled the caramel, musk, and honey become one with the limoncello and peony. It's strange there's only one flower listed in the notes because to me I can smell something more, but I can't quite put my name on it. This is truly a unique perfume as it's florals with candy -- oppose to a fruity/floral. They managed to mix sweet with floral and make it smell gorgeous!

It's a beautiful fragrance from start to finish IMO. Some may say it's generic but I don't think it is at all, especially because it isn't just a watered down fruity/floral (not that there's anything wrong with those - I have plenty). I adore the bottles Prada Candy come in and I'm so happy that they came out with one I liked. The sweetness in this is very different from say a - Juicy Couture floral. To me this is more sophisticated. It is appropriate for day or night wear and is completely unoffensive. I highly recommend it. Prada did a great job on this. Consider it kind of like a grown up version of a fruity floral. But it really isn't in that category because there is no fruit in it. I do wish there was a bit more sweetness in this, though. More caramel would be nice, or vanilla, tonka, etc.

Regardless, I highly recommend, even as a blind buy. This is a wonderful release from Prada.

sanoberry

Smells exactly like it’s name.. a floral candy.
There is a sweet delightful freshness to it, i get the limoncello, peony, honey and caramel. It is lovely to spritz on after a shower on moisturised skin! I have a shower gel from Innisfree the cherry blossom one, and this smells exactly like it! Candy florale is refreshing as an expensive shower gel or soap. Just the way I like my perfumes to be.. clean, sweet, innocent, girly . This is a brilliant composition and in my humble opinion, a must have!

dglightblue

oooh i love the initial spray of this, the top notes are great.

it has a bit of leau dissey summer 2017, theres a lovely non bitter fresh daisy, or a fresh yellow and white flower feel to it.

I dont get 'lemon' per se the notes say lemoncello.
it could be peony (as ive read peony).
this isnt heavy amber or anything, this is light and well blended.
theres a lovely shampoo vibe along with fresh lightness, no green stems in this, ahh - the rounded powdery amber is still light but like a vein running though the overall scent. it almost could come off as a gentle wood with the effect it has.
the rounded cool sweetness that prada candy edp has on its peripheral is like a mist of aura running around the edges in this scent when smelled drectly on the skin.

this isnt my normal type of freshie really, ive not seen this promoted as a freshie - you know the watery or green or clean type, its got the cool roundedness that some of the other pradas have.

i will comment as to longevity later.

winter test, one spray to inner elbow

Petals_and_Perfumes

Hot summer days, just-out-of-the-shower, t-shirt and yoga pants, infused ice water while laying in cool white linens with a soft cool breeze enveloping the room. That’s the picture I get with this frag. Simple, linear, daytime, relaxing. Fresh, clean floral. Perfect for a girl’s first perfume, safe for crowds/work. Fades rather quickly. Nothing special. I do enjoy it though. Every frag doesn’t have to be a life-changing experience. Sometimes we need one we can reach for when we want to reset our minds and our olfactory functions. This one fits that niche.

rue_de_la_roux

When I saw this at Burlington Coat for $19.99 for a .85oz spray bottle I jumped on it, thinking since I love original Candy and L'eau this would be good, too. Not quite. It opens with a non-descript floral, followed by loads of lemon then hours later drying down to the Candy base of luscious caramel and benzoin. Love the base, it's just slightly different from Candy and L'eau, but I don't think I can handle waiting for it. I'll try it again in the hotter weather and see what happens. Right now it's very meh to me.

041802

This smells just like Dior Blooming Bouquet to me which I love but it doesn't last. This is a beautiful clean floral fragrance with a touch of citrus to brighten it up. So far this is one of my favorites in the Prada Candy collection.

cherrygalore

This is definitely a basic perfume. I tried the EDT on my skin, and a strong alcohol scent appeared but disappeared within a few seconds.

It's smells like a mix between sunscreen and shampoo. It's nice, fresh and soapy. But that's all it seems to be. I can't say I detect much caramel. The limoncello and peony seems to be the star of the perfume, but I find it's lacking something extra.
Simple perfumes can be nice, but this one is just too basic for my personal taste.

It's definitely a teenager-like perfume to me. Something fun and fresh but not very sophisticated.

Upon drydown it becomes more powdery, which is nice. It seems to have some more depth to it than just a floral shampoo smell like it did in the very beginning.

Overall it's still a lovely perfume but it isn't anything to truly rave about.

meg0825

Candy Florale is indeed very floral. It's an intense fresh and soapy peony with a little lemon peeking through. As it dries down, I detect some very faint caramel. I was disappointed that this flanker doesn't have the same DNA as the other Candy fragrances I have come to love. This is all floral and no candy.

lmwimsatt

I like this one simply because its the most powerful candy on my skin. The citrus smells really tend to stick to my skin, whereas the more basic ones (musky or almondy) tend to disentigrate into my skin. So the best ones for me are leau, florale, and sugar pop. They're still way too light but not as frustrating as original, kiss, and gloss.

JetsBabe

I wore this to the market, and people around me kept saying the flower aroma it contained was fantastic. I like it a lot since it's very fresh and long-lasting. Plus, it had many fans the only day I wore it!

justchillinxo

Smells like Barbie shampoo. Except slightly less good.

lnoskin

I got a sample vial of this and have had different experiences with it. The first time I tried this I really didn't like it. It just smelled like all the floral scents I didn't like (kind of like chloe). I decided to give it another chance and I really liked it. I didn't get that heavy floral scent I got the first time. I have seen review on other perfumes saying that it smelled like a baby doll head and I had no clue what that meant. When I waited for this to settle on my wrist, it smelled exactly like that! In a good way. Then about 30 mins went by and I smelled my wrist and there was almost nothing there. I definitely need to play around with this a little more because reviews have said it lasts a while for an EDT. Maybe it lasts longer on clothes.

Edit: I figured out the baby doll smell is from the limoncello

colabama

This is quite lovely and the most complimented on fragrance I have ever worn.I really don't know why,as it is a light shampoo like scent to me,but, there it is.Every where I go it's "What are you wearing? It smells so good!" I just go with the flow lol.

Christycaxxx

Gorgeous musky floral perfume. Light and citrusy that works for any occasion in the warmer months. No caramel notes noted on my skin but a little honey sweetness lifts the citrus and floral notes making it a bright scent. I prefer this over the Candy Kiss flanker as it is a little similar but I love the musky floral fragrance of Candy Florale.

violetstorm

when i ordered this scent i was a bit nervous cuz i thought it might be this sour citrus'y strong rose scent which totally doesnt sound good to me lol but i bought it anyway to check it out..............well im glad i did buy it cuz its nothing like i thought..........its smells like a soft feminine floral scent - something a young bride might wear on her wedding day on a beautiful spring day in a beautiful garden full of pastel roses :) i say pastel cuz it doesnt scream red roses or something dark - i sense soft colors with this scent :) its funny but i cant smell any caramel & on me i dont get citrus.......on me its a romantic soft floral :)

elmccullar

I’m loving this! At first, it’s a bright lemony peony, but it dries down to the most beautiful soapy floral on my skin. I’m looking at the notes on here and I’m not getting any caramel or any hint of gourmand whatsoever. It’s like a beautiful, sparkling floral shampoo and I love it!

lmwimsatt

Wear this with secret genius or any plain gourmand! The white chocolate enhances this citrus floral into a true candy florale. Better yet, layer it with the original candy

minag

I have a Prada Candy problem - I need them all! They are my Pokemon and I have to collect them :P.

I agree with the reviewers who have said that Florale doesn't quite fit into the Candy family - at first, it really does seem like they composed a sweet soapy peony perfume and decided to slap the Candy name on it to get the Candy lovers excited. In the beginning, this is truly just a simple sweet lemony peony that has not much at all to do with the Candy line. BUT, on the deepest of drydowns, I can detect some of that sweet musky benzoin Candy DNA.

Now, is this a stunner? Nope. Is it unique? Only if you don't already have one of the mountain of sweet peony scents out there (I prefer Chloe EDP for a sweet soapy peony, which actually comes out more on my skin than the rose in that particular perfume, BUT everybody here wears it, so I'm reaching for Florale more often). Is it innovative? Nope. Will it make you stand out? No.

BUT is it nice? YES! It is VERY nice; it is very pleasant; it is very inoffensive and safe. And I actually kind of love it. It makes me feel pretty and not at all self conscious in any situation - I can wear this to the office, I can wear it to the hospital, I can wear it wherever and nobody will complain. So no, it isn't loud and it doesn't project like a beast, but it does last a good while on me. Actually, this one is one of the more tenacious candies on me, being much longer lasting than my favorite Candy Gloss. I can still smell it on my skin 24 hours later and after a shower. I know that this is not the typical experience, but there you go. On the other hand, Gloss seems to sadly disappear after a few hours :(.

So all this is to say that I love Florale for what it is - a clean, pretty, safe, everyday sweet peony scent with the tiniest hint of my beloved Candy line. When I don't feel like having my focus drawn to my perfume with every move I make, when it's warm out and something heavy will drown me, when I just feel like feeling pretty, I reach for Florale. No, she's not the rainbow unicorn of the perfume world, but Florale has her place. If you're looking for something innovative and unique, turn away, but if you're looking for something basic and pretty and always appropriate, Florale might be your friend too.

Lovelymichie

This one is a Soapy Floral with a hint of sweetness once it has dried down..

Michelle12345678

Typical floral. Not related to Prada Candy at all. Department store. Clean, fresh, floral. Girly. Inoffensive. But there's nothing special or unique about it.

TrailerTrashPrincess

i've liked Candy since it came out, what, seven years ago now? and i like several of the Infusion series (especially the Iris). I adore Luna Rossa Sport. i've tried a couple of the Candy flankers in addition to this one and so far none of the flankers work for me.
this one in specific? it is nice. it is okay. it is completely forgettable and could be one of the fruity-floral scents from Victoria's Secret or any number of knockoffs available at a discount store.
i'm not knocking discount stores or even cheap perfumes, just that there are a zillion fruity-floral scents out there right now.
the worst part of this particular one is there's a gardenia-y note in there somewhere and my skin amps that like whoa, so this turns into a powerful powdery gardenia bomb on me.

Bubbly Fizz

One of my fav perfume! Love it!

charlotteding

This smells like one of the daisy flankers I can't pin point whic, it doesn't smell like original prada candy at all but it is a pretty floral

bonjer70

Men LOVE this fragrance on me. I am a ballroom dancer ... and they often tell me how wonderful I smell. It is a beautiful floral fragrance on me ... very romantic and floral in the best sense of the word. You just can't beat that when men fall in love with the way you smell.

catwoman408

A pleasant green/bamboo scent beneath heavy, sharp, dark-pink roses that smell like they're from a solid perfume. The combination is fascinating, stylish, nostalgic and slightly oppressive without being indolent. It has a retro feel to it. I can imagine Liberace wearing this while drinking tea in a French salon. For a woman, this seems like it would be lovely if worn as a very gentle skin scent, but if she sprays too much, she'll smell like Liberace.

Kimmychoo 01

This has a lancome miracle vibe - fresh , sweet , heady , powdery, fruity , floraly , definitly peony power , very very beautiful , i prefer it to prada candy , which has that Acric burned sugar note : just like pink sugar .
The only down side after about 1 hour of soft powdery wafts of goodness . Is .......
It has wafted away...... truly done a wafter runner . Gone , not even a hint of anything .
BUT , for that 1 hour - this truly is nose candy !

cedar_lea

There is something that reminds me of Poison Girl. It has a similarly blended citrus, floral and candy combination.

This does have a more pronounced peony that is a little soapy, but still has plenty of depth and body. The carmel and resin combination is a great counterpoint keeping it from being too princess-like. I'll definitely be revisiting this later.
-=-=-=-
Upon revisiting I must have applied much more. I found the first hour to be a slightly headache inducing citrus and floral bouquet that bordered on too soapy.

After about 3 hours it turned into a resin and floral mix that I kind of like. I think this is one that's probably a little better on someone else. It's OK on me but it will never be a love.

judybikmeit

Love the smell. i dont understand why this is so underrated when its beautiful. Its delicate but sophisticated at the same time. i sprayed it at the back of my hand and keep sniffing it. Was expecting to get headache like what I get with the Original Candy (i get headaches with heavy honey notes but I didnt get any with this. Anyway, after washing my hand with soap. the scent is still there.

UnOiseauRebel

Smells like a very diluted version of the spray I use to clean my bathroom; although it's clad in pink, it smells blue, like those cheap reed diffusers sold in discount shops, with names like "Sea Mist". I can barely detect it on the blotter or on the skin. Beautiful bottle though - very mod-ish.

missk

I tested the much-loved Prada Candy some years ago when it was all the rage. I did enjoy the original but found its sweetness overbearing, almost too syrupy-sweet on my skin. Fast forward almost five years and I am just getting around to testing her flankers. Prada Candy Florale was one of those fragrances you find yourself flippantly spritzing whilst browsing your local department store.

I was pleased to find that Prada Candy Florale was less sweet than its predecessor. The gooey caramel accord was significantly more tame in this flanker, with a soft focus on the blend of pink peonies and honey.

I have no doubt that Prada Candy Florale will still appeal to the younger consumers with its pretty blush-pink bottle and sugary undertones. The 'girlish-ness' has not disappeared, only been refined and softened to make this flanker more warm weather appropriate and office friendly.

I wouldn't personally purchase a bottle of Prada Candy Florale, but if I were to choose between the original and this flanker, I would be sure to pick Prada Candy Florale. Sticky caramel scents are not my thing, and the soft, musky peony accord in this fragrance is a far better representation of Prada as a brand, at least in my opinion.

Pmy

I got this as a gift. It smells clean, sweet with a hint of floral. This is a skin scent on me and smells like white florals. It is very wearable and inoffensive fragrance, can be a everyday scent for the office or school. While tjis fragrance is pretty simple, I think this would do well layered with other scents for spring.

lmwimsatt

This smell amazing layered on top of the original

malindajoquinn

This is the brightest peony fragrance. It's like covering yourself in fresh flowers. The musk in this is very light, I mostly get peony, peony and more peony. A little bit of citrus, very fresh.
I really had to be in a special mood to wear this one because it can verge on "fancy guest bathroom soap at Grandma's house", which is something I am generally not crazy about. However, when I was in the mood for it I really enjoyed it!

Lilyequis

I have a review on here for candy florale, but this is an update.

I still LOVE this fragrance and consider it such an underdog perfume which saddens me. When I first encountered this perfume I remember the SA strongly talking me out of it, talking me out of even sampling it. She went on about how bad it smelled and the only true beautiful scent is the original candy (which is a musky caramel hell on me-- I can barely tolerate it except in the dead of winter).

For that reason I shyed away from CF for a very long time. It wasn't until I was looking specifically for a peony scent that wasn't sharp-- that I stumbled again upon candy florale.

Candy florale is gorgeous. I get tons of compliments from this one. This possibly gets the most compliments out of any of my perfumes. Dh never comments on any perfume I wear ever, but without fail if I wear CF he will bury his nose into my hair from behind and tell me how clean or how good I smell. Everyone seems to be drawn to me when I wear this.

It's not just clean and white floral, although it certainly is that. This does have benzoin, musk and caramel in the base like in all the candy flankers. My skin tends to amplify sweet notes to the point of being gross so I truly appreciate the reigns on CF where my skin has enough sweetness, just enough, to cut through those florals and make them not so sharp. It also sets this apart from every other department store white floral on the market. I must admit try as I might I personally detect no honey in this.

The lemon in this is perfectly balanced. Cool, crisp and pleasant, it's a sugared lemon and not sharp or acrid. This works for me because I am generally not a citrus fan in fragrance. Admittedly if the lemon wasn't there I could probably throw all of my perfumes in the garbage (no I think I'd need lady vengance and probably miss Dior) and wear this as a true signature fragrance. But I have to be in the mood to carry the lemon with me all day long bc it does seem to wear for the duration of the fragrance.

In short-- I'm rewriting my review. As this is the underdog of the Prada candy line, Prada perfumes in general, and is one department store fragrance that just everyone really likes to turn their nose up at, I feel compelled to plea it's case. I truly wish this were renamed, and not part of the candy line. This isn't a scent for gourmand lovers, but it isn't a bland white floral neither. I honestly cannot think of a single dupe-- I think the soapy white floral accord with musk, caramel and Italian lemon ice smell work phenomenally.

Truly this is a compliment getter, and I must admit, for an edt I smell this in my hair until I wash it. This bugger sticks!

I love it. I don't do backup bottles but I am seriously considering a backup for this. I think it's the weakest link of the Prada candy flankers, and that makes me terribly sad. It's the only one I love and I do LOVE it.

Kohla1

I have smelled this on others and it's great, like lemony flowers and sugar! On me it smells like a corn nut in a basket of flowers. Not good for me!

raiza1990

Call me crazy, but i could swear there was tuberose or other white flower in this composition. It smelled like a powdery, airy white floral on me. I even thought i had smelled the Florale Kiss version, but i am sure it was this one. Nice and all, but i was expecting something more young smelling. I tested the original some years ago, and this one did not reminded me of it either.
I don't know what more to say, this perfume is good, but did not impressed me. I don't know if i can recommend it further...

lmwimsatt

Layer it on top of philosophy's fresh cream and smell the magic. The notes suddenly come to life

Soofiya

My previous review was written in late fall when I had received it for almost a week.back then it was a "meh" for me.I thought it's inoffensive and boring and if I bought a sample of it first,I'd never ordered a full bottle
I had to write a second review for it now, which is early spring.to be honest I'm very happy to have it now
In winter I couldn't detect slightest hint of caramel or other sweet notes.it was just a lemony peony-scented soap.nice but flat, too light, too simple.things are a bit different in warmer days of spring
It opens with an adorable lemony note.I'm not a citrus fan and I love it when I find a citrus scent that I like, which rarely happens
Lemon is fresh and natural here, but it's not too sour or sharp.think of a glass of an icey cool beverage,a sweet one with caramel and honey in it.now cut half a lemon and pour drops of it's juice into the potion
I can smell soft, beautiful and clean musky peony while there's scent of mentioned drink in the background.lemons adds an alluring freshness while they're rounded by a light touch of caramel, honey and benzoin so that there's nothing sharp or cold in candy florale
I still believe it's simple and inoffensive but it's so well balanced and so beautiful that it's difficult not to love it.it's not a flat scent and while being delicate,it has dimensions.there's exactly right amount of citrus to provide freshness and brightness blending with right amount of floral to provide a pretty, springy aspect and right amount of musk to provide a soft powdery clean quality and sweet notes to make it rounded and delicious. wearing it in a sunny spring day is a real pleasure.it's refreshing, sweet, soft and clean.don't let the term "candy florale" fool you.it's not candy like and it's not heavily floral.it's definitely a modern fragrance and however it's not complex as classic florals,it had depth
Prada candy florale is youthful and a lot of people see it as a girly scent, something for a blonde princess in pink dress. I agree that it's youthful and delicate and a great choice for a young lady in her late teens or early 20s,but I also believe it's exactly as good for her mother.there's nothing in it not suitable for a mature lady.she looks fragile but if you start to know her better you'd see her calmness, confidence and class
I like it alot and I will wear it alot in spring and summer.it's good for almost every occasion and most people will love it on you and comment on how lovely you smell
Neither longevity nor sillage aren't great but they're not weak either.you'd better reapply it through day but it can do the job for a couple of hours.it's noticable for people around you
,❤❤❤❤

Natalia522

I love this perfume a lot! I have never tried it until today because I assumed that the smell will be like sweet caramel candy mixed with heavy peony. This is what I expected because of the name Candy and rose bottle. How surprised I was when I smelled very fresh, clean, light floral fragrance with a drop of honey. This is very safe perfume and can work well during spring-summer days. So happy that I found it!

Gemini12

I read somewhere that Prada Candy Florale is supposed to smell like a bouquet of flowers sitting on the counter of an ice cream shop. Um, no. Maybe change that to somebody eating an ice cream cone in a florist shop and you might be closer to the reality of this perfume.

Upon first spray I get a hint of the gourmand Prada Candy mixed with bright flowers and some citrus notes. But the "Candy" note is fleeting...it's almost as if you've been given a big bouquet of flowers by somebody wearing Candy and then that person walks way. It's honestly that fleeting. After the Candy note is gone, what you're left with is a nice, but unremarkable fruity-floral.

Projection is very light as it quickly settles to a skin scent that lasts for a moderate amount of time (I can usually still smell it faintly for 6+ hours).

In my opinion it's not unique, long lasting or interesting enough to justify the price. You're paying for the Prada name and not much else. I'm glad I picked mine up for under $20.

epicurean

This flanker bears little relation to the original Candy, but there is a hint of caramel amidst the floral bouquet. It's nothing remarkable, but I like how the lemon freshens the peony (which can get a little soapy). If you're looking to buy something for a young lady who is interested in graduating from celeb to designer scents, you could do worse.

blanc.noir

I mostly smell peony with only a hint of caramel in the background. Definitely not what I was expecting, but I'm not so sure if peony would even go well with a thicker caramel as peony seems to smell clean and like a bar of floral scented soap. I love peony scents though but I'll stick to my CK Eternity Moment...

iamoir

What a pleasant surprise for Candy Prada. This is not sweet at all, like this time they sat down and said let's create something very different from Candy.
The only problem I detect is the longevity. Sillage is moderate, but on me it doesn't last more than four hours.
Other than that it's a perfumey perfume. It's soft, a little peppery, floral and yes, the musk is quite prominent. It's way too soft for my liking, but it's inoffensive, feminine and clean. Caramel is not as prominent as it should be, so some might be disappointed. This is not Candy Florale, it's just Florale.
Daytime, summer and spring. All ages appropriate.

Soofiya

This was a blindbuy for me
I had prada candy and kiss and liked both of them so I decided to collect whole candy line
If you're into light, pretty, modern floral fragrances with delicate sweetness you'd love this but if you're into heavy scents and gourmands it may dissapoint you
Prada candy floral is super gorgeous,it's so pretty that I can't say I don't like it.it's fresh, uplifting, clean, soft and girly
I can get soft peony, lemon,a sweet, rounded one and some powdery clean musk.I expected it to have some gourmand quality.I love caramel and I can't pick it up here, not even much honey and benzoin ,however I feel they're there, rounding all the edges
I think it's real beauty blooms in hot weather so I'm saving it for spring and summer but for now I see it a very nice perfume which doesn't justify it's price tag for me.longevity is moderate on my skin, about 4,5 hours and sillage is soft
❤❤❤

Papavero0

I smell lily of the valley in this. That just ruins it for me.

dorothea333

I just put some on - yeah it is still lovely, this tangy, soapy freshness.

I believe that some of the many disappointed or critical reviews partly comes from knowing and loving Prada Candy.
I have not yet smelled Candy, though I have every intention of doing so, but I think it was probably an advantage that my mini of Candy didn't survive the trip from Asia, then I had no firm expectations.

On me I don't get much powder. And though I recently fell in love with a powdery perfume (which I am still amazed by) I normally consider no powder or very little powder a good thing. I just want to say this, because it is described as powdery, but it should not scare anyone from trying it.

It could be a cousin to Fleur d'Interdit from Givenchy.

dzingunyte

Very light floral perfume. For warmer weather indeed. Now that the autumn and winter on the way,I pass this one. Pleasant, innocent scent for a ladies. But nothing too special ;)

Blossom Dreams

I have to agree with the reviewer underneath me. I sprayed this perfume on and within seconds I was like oh my god I have to have this. It is so exquisite, fresh, and pretty. Peony, lemon, and caramel ... divine. But it's gone in just over an hour. Such a shame. The bottle is just stellar. So I'm going to keep my pennies for the upcoming Bonbon Couture (not yet released in NZ).

perfumemad62

Prada Candy Florale is an absolutely beautiful perfume but it makes me sad because the lasting power & sillage are so weak!

It is a gorgeous powdery, sweet floral fragrance. Very feminine, romantic and pretty. I think of a young woman wearing a pretty white lace dress, a ribbon in her hair and a sparkle in her eye. Innocent yet you know she is hiding a darker secret.

Overall, a beautiful perfume which is sadly let down by the very poor lasting power & sillage. I am debating if I should pay such a high price for such a weak yet stunning fragrance.

chchristyen

Ever since I've got this perfume and sprayed it for the first time (four months ago), I've been trying hard to place exactly where it is that I've smelled this scent before. I finally made the association today! It smells just like Deesse's Elujida hair oil (made of baobab oil), although Elujida smells a little sweeter. Truth be told, I had felt odd every time I'd sprayed Prada Candy Florale on my arms or body, and I guess this explains why - I'm used to this scent only being in my hair after washing it... That said, I actually love the smell of Elujida oil and have been using it for 2 years now. From now on I'll probably be using this as a hair perfume. It doesn't last for a very long time and isn't particularly unique, but it does smell quite nice and polite. Before I made the connection with the hair oil, I'd thought that Florale smelled rather like a lightly scented body lotion or oil.

perrfumefreak

Florale opens with the familiar" Candy" powdery caramel sweetness, but that lovely smell is quickly replaced by bitter florals. IMO, the floral note ruins the whole composition. I think some sweeter florals would have worked better here. The floral accord that is here doesn't mix well with the Candy Sweetness. Or maybe the sweetness isn't strong enough to mix with the florals . I prefer the original Candy any day. The sillage and longevity are awful. That's a trait Florale shares with the original"Candy"....neither has good sillage or staying power which is sad because I expected more from Prada. At least a bit longer lasting given the price tag.

Ok, I gave it an hour and there is a faint underlying powdery sweet base but for the most part, I still smell the bitter flower scent.

Mysterio

I agree with the people who think it smells like some kind of bar soap I could get at the grocery store. Barely any flowers - just soapy suds on me.

VioletNoir

I have tried a lot of different perfumes over the last year and a half, so i have learned what different perfumes smell like, this perfume is an over-priced dupe for Flower Princess by Vera Wang. Fortunately i only bought a 9.99 sample of Prada Candy Floral after almost paying 80$ for it, i am very happy that i got a sample first. It smells good but not what i was expecting based on the notes and description.the description says inspired by an imaginary flower that smells like candy or a bouquet of flowers standing on the counter of an ice cream shop in Italy....you would think there would be more of the Limon-Cello Sorbet, caramel and Honey but my nose does not smell any of that...it just smells like flowers although it does smell very nice i can smell the same exact type of scent in Flower Princess which is much less expensive...you can literally buy it on Ebay for less than 25$....so save urself some money and get Flower Princess only if you are interested in saving money and don;t have an endless amount of money to spend on perfume or whatever you want....if i had a lot of money to spend on perfume i might buy it for the bottle and the fact it does smell good...but im a student on a budget.

Glamazzin869

I thought this was a floral that I could deal with but it still was too much for me. It's a pleasant sent but the longetivity is too bad to keep so I returned. If you like florals with a touch of sweet you'll probably like this. Plus the pretty bottle...

Carrieberry

Most of the negativity for this scent is related to the fact that die-hard Candy fans are disappointed in the lack of resemblance to the original candy.

The only similarity I sense is the iconic Prada benzoin note that I can subtly detect in the dry down. I do not really get any caramel.

But to be honest I don't care how much this resembles Candy or not... all I know is that I am addicted to this fragrance. The combination of peony and sweet lemon is divine. I can't stop smelling my wrist. When I wear a different perfume I really wish I was wearing Candy Florale. I am in love.

kellymi

This is a soapy scent, "limony" and floral, that kind of sticks in my throat with the first sprays.

I had to hunt for the connection to the original by huffing my wrist for five minutes -- still couldn't find it. The citrus note cancels out any caramel on my skin.

Prada Candy is delicious on me, a cozy sweetness -- Candy Florale is a powdery, flowery cloud, definitely something I wouldn't purchase.

Lissa1991

I was crazy with excitement about that limoncello note, as I like my sweet perfumes with a citrusy touch. But I do not feel much citrus and there's something quite oily about this fragrance which gives me a funny feeling in my stomach (I have troubles digesting oily food), no idea what it is though. That "oily" scent calmsdown after about 6 hours and you end up with a fresh, sweet, floral fragrance that feels nice - still need to figure out if it's nice enough for me to buy it though.

PinkRainbow

Sweet, young, and carefree scent. Powdery, with just the right touch of caramel. Perfect for a summer day at the beach or at a fairground. Love it!

Anneyding

I love this!!! At first spray it is sharp, yes. However, it develops into this beautiful scent, varm and sweet floral. I wasn't fond of the original Prada Candy, but this I love! It smells very different from the first spray till it settles. A lot like Gucci Flora, as some said before :).

May Zacharopoulou

This one is the absolute Spring-Summer baby!

I love how fresh-lemony-floral it gets when you spritz it on the skin! I can describe it as sweet - sour, feminine and vigorously energetic.

This is the fragrance i've been searching for years.. No other felt more suitable for a hot summer night or a sunny, dewy spring morning!

Its not syrupy or even sticky at all, compared to the original candy! What you ll get is pure freshness, lemon blossoms, pink peony & a liiittle bit caramely. Perfect combination for me, totally a keeper.

Fonna2

65% gourmand, 30% floral, and the other 5% is a mystery.
This may be the ONLY gourmand that I like.

I do believe any age can wear this.
And the devil is wearing Kouros, not this scent.

It's not a fruit juice scent nor a maple syrupy sweet scent, but a moist sugar....like marshmallow, soft like it, too.....and that's sweet and sticky enough for me. It's not a "warm" nor "cool" scent , but I don't believe I'd wear it in the summertime, as I think it would "melt the marshmallow" and become overbearing.

Then there's that beautiful floral that balances it.
I would like a bit of more floral, personally.
I would layer it with a half drop of Damask.

I like it.

Neckromancer

Very girly scent. It smells like a bunch of small, pink flowers. It is not a white floral in any way, and there's no greenness to it. It's pretty sweet, but not too sweet, and doesn't smell like the original Prada Candy (which I think is a bit cloying) in any way. Although it is sweet, I think it is still fresh. It has a youthful tinge to it. I can imagine a 16yr old wearing this.

Lilyequis

This smells like soap in the best possible way!

It is nothing at all like the original prada candy. I don't smell anything remotely sweet-- I don't detect caramel at all.

This is simply a white floral composition with the prada signature of benzoin and musks in the drydown.

I really do detect lemincello in the top notes-- it's a sugary lemon that weirdly does feel cold when you spray it. I imagine spraying this will feel amazing on a hot day. Then it dries down and you are left with a soapy and white floral. This is the longest lasting of all the candy flankers on my skin. Maybe white floral just meshes with my chemistry better than foody notes.

At any rate I LOVE this! Despite the confusing name this is much more for the floral lover than the gourmand type-- but this has quickly become a staple in my perfume arsenal. I just love it

marissaf

I thought it would be a sweet scent, but not at all.. sharp floral scent on me (I don't now how people can say it's a sweet scent), nice at first, but after 10 minutes, I hated it. It reminds me a lot of Gucci Flora. Glad that I only got a sample size of this.

marnie_g

Reminds me of a body splash that I had as a child where the oil would separate from the water and would require shaking before using, Jean Nate for Kids.

This has not got anything to do with the original Prada Candy. To my nose, they are not even your mothers cousins friend...
I read somewhere someone thought it smelled like those chilled flower behind the counter at the florist/flower store. I think it's a pretty suiting description. The flowers are cool and lush, pink and pretty. The limoncello doesn't really appear though I guess there is a citrusy note in the beginning. Longevity is bad, barely 2 hours on my skin.
But it sure is fresh, cute, anonymous, light and girly so if you're looking for something refreshing and office friendly without being too bland, too sweet or too citrusy, this might the flower of your choice. (i'm not impressed at all by this scent but you can believe I bought the small candy kiss edition bottle nevertheless, just because it was so damn cute)

GrandmaGaga

Love the scent, love the bottle....but on me it literally disappears in the blink of an eye...well, maybe two blinks. Why do manufacturers waste their name and a beautifully designed bottle on something that very few people would repurchase considering the fleeting longevity of this scent? If it were an inexpensive body spray that I felt free to douse myself in at relatively little cost, I'd repurchase this but it's not...I could literally go through this entire 30ml bottle in a day and enjoy every minute of it. I may just do that...like a big fireworks finale: over in such a short time but breathtaking while it lasts.

jessamesnaps

Ugh. Ugh!!! Based on the description of notes, I figured there was no way I could be led astray. Nope. Wrong. On me, this smells like my dead grandmother's drug store hairspray from the 1980's: final net. Huge mistake. How could 'peonies, caramel, musk and lemon sorbet' forge such an unholy alliance and morph into a scent so offensive?! Am looking to give away or sell to some poor, unsuspecting soul immediately.

goldie757

This fragrance smelled like a beautiful sweet white floral on the tester, sadly on my skin it smells like expensive soap.

chio17

Smells like a bar soap

HanamiTsukimi

It starts off refreshing like a cold, sweet glass of peony infused lemonade, as full of bubbly innocence as a girl at her Sweet Sixteen party in 1955. But it's over too soon. It fades to something generically pleasant before mostly disappearing altogether, and that within the first hour.

I can't see myself ever buying a bottle, but I could receive a free bottle with a shrug. This is a lighter, citrus focused take on the original Candy whereas L'Eau is, I feel, ironically more floral. I just wish the flankers had more staying power.

Wanesa

beautiful . such a charming scent. i mean its not the best in the world but its suitable for the occasions i want it for. i go to work in it, one a few dates, shopping. I don't know those notes but it really smells like a candy shop or a wine shop. a little citrus, very much rosy and pleasant. like a classy lady :)

tessture

Prada candy with magnolia added. Very lack-luster on my skin. I'm admittedly not a huge fan of white florals, and this has too much of that. When you add in the powdery tonka vanilla, it is a little too much for me. Plain Candy EdP was a better fragrance for me.

princessmorbux

A bright, fresh, pretty and youthful scent. This perfume opens with refreshing and sunny limoncello sorbet, a bit overpowering, yet still delightful. Soon it rounds out with soft and pretty floral, honey and caramel with just the right amount of musk. Perfect for Spring and Summer. It lasts pretty long on me, about 5-6 hours.

Floral Citrus

Prada Candy Florale is something you'll love if you adore peony, if you adore citrus summer perfumes, or if you're just getting into perfume and you want to smell 'nice.'

CF is pretty linear, and I totally agree with the dominant notes that you all have voted for--it opens up with a lot of lemony citrus, a big peony, and as it wears a honey note opens up, and the drydown becomes a bit musky. The citrus lasts for most of the wear, and I think the peony lasts for ALL of it. This has some projection if you apply enough sprays, and lasts up to 8 hours on my skin.

This is Prada, after all, and CF is perfectly pleasant to wear, it smells nice, and the peony is well rounded and never gets screechy or high pitched. If peony is a favorite note this is a green light. For me though this just smells like really nice shampoo, and ultimately kind of 'meh.' If I found a bottle for say $20, or if I got it as a gift, I would be happy to wear it, but it's nothing that I'm clamoring over.

Arabian Girl

All I get is a cheap white floral scent. The caramel is very faint, you really have to look for it. On my skin, even the white floral fades whithin a couple of hours and it just becomes a random soapy smell that lasts forever.
Not necessarily an unpleasant smell, just a fresh clean one that's not worth the price.

skeletonwitch

Not a fan of this one. Smells like some sort of frou-frou expensive old lady/baby powder concoction? It's a weird one for me and I won't be repurchasing once I finish my sample.

LisaLovesPerfume

Love this! Fresh, zesty and not overly sweet. It is unique. I detect a bit of floral after the drydown. Still, the zesty note remains. Just lovely.

Hilda0414

I am so glad I didn't expend major funds for this fragrance. I tried a sample and, like some, " I couldn't stop smelling my wrist", but only to see if it had emerged into something more than ordinary. Flowery, soapy, and like so many other current scents. I couldn't detect anything reminiscent of gourmand notes, but I don't profess to be the best at analysis of individual notes. A young woman may enjoy this or someone wanting just a light, clean , Spring flower fragrance. It's just like so many others that I am personally uninterested.

aura_therapy

I love Prada Candy so I thought I would try this. It is a nice, sweet, lively floral. I smell white flowers but I can't smell any lemon or caramel. I don't smell any gourmand, just floral. It is nice but as far as the fruity floral genre goes I prefer Versace Bright Crystal or Coach Poppy *Blossom*.

Asalisa

Very girly. Lily of the valley, lemon and soap. This could be something that I would choose for my daughter as a first perfume when she is sixteen.

MademoiselleMaya

It's pretty much a skin scent but I was pleasantly surprised by it. When I tested it on a blotter when it came out, I was very disappointed by its generic flowery nothingness, but in an effort to test more scents from my collection I've decited to use a sample I was given a while ago. And Prada Candy Florale was just what I needed today - a flower with a delicately gourmand edge thanks to honey and limoncello. It's cute, girly, but can be used as a mood booster even in office environment, as it has really low sillage. I can detect its gentle aura for about 6 hours though.

fragrantlove

In the bottle, it smelled fresh and pretty. On my skin, it turns into this horrible acidic peony, like an old lady's soap or something, not gourmand at all. It's definitely not for everybody. A definite "dislike" from me!

frosting712

I recently sampled this new Prada floral.

Initially, I thought it was very pretty. On me personally I didn't get very much caramel or sweet notes. It was a rather bright(likley the lemon) floral, that quickly dimmed into it's mid-notes.

The mid notes were still pleasantly floral.

A few hours later, the dry down left much to be desired. It turned to what one might describe as "old lady" or semi-fancy molded bathroom soap. The kind more for decoration than actual use. Personally, this scent isn't for me.

JaiTee

This flanker is for someone who can't decide between a gourmand or floral scent. The first half of my time wearing this, it's Prada Candy, with that low rumble of benzoin and caramel. Then, that layer fades away and it the floral base takes centre-stage. It ends as a floral perfume. Longevity was about 4-6 hours, with decent sillage because of the florals.

ptilda

Just on the "too sweet" side for me. Another Sephora sample which is how I've been "practicing" my perfume skills and developing my nose. I do like it and it's very long lasting on me when I spray after my morning shower and add one spritz to my clothes. Not a favorite.

sharyn100

Oh wow...this perfume is so delicious and fresh..smell lasts when you layer with the body lotion..I just can't stop smelling my wrist !! A really beautiful sexy fun perfume :0)

mittensablaze

I just picked up Prada Candy and had to pick this up along with it. I always ignored it because I'm not too into florals. They smell too old lady and give me a headache. But this, oh my, this. I just had to have it. It's so young and fresh for a floral. It's not overwhelming and smells so clean and refreshing while still being extremely feminine. The floral doesn't smell synthetic to me.

This is what a girl should smell like in the summer. Like a pretty girl, fresh out of the shower, eating cotton candy and sweet tarts, in a field of flowers. Now I'm not suggesting that you run out and do that. It'd probably attract a lot of ants and bees. You should just smell like you do that.

Edit: This smells amazing, but the scent is noticeable for the first hour. Then you can smell it if you put your wrist right under your nose. Then it's completely gone by the end of hour 2. Wish they made this an EDP instead of EDT.

tommy_girl

fresh floral+ lemon syrup.nice try!actually this is my favorite type of perfume.it smells young, but not teenagery.
on paper and my skin it smells totally different.while on paper it's more fresh, floral, on my skin it tends to be sweeter and deeper and unfortunately on my skin it has barely any sillage.(sigh) actually this is my problem with all candy perfumes.

sophiealbarn

the original Prada Candy is one of my all-time favorites and Prada Candy Florale smells nothing like it, to me. I also don't think it's particularly unique, nor does it have any notes that really stand out to me. BUT! I think it's terrific. It's bright and pretty and fun, and the perfect scent when you just want to smell light and nice and girly and young. It may not be a show-stopper, but it's certainly got its place and I find myself reaching for this one much more than I had expected to. This will be really perfect for Spring and Summer.

Soutty123

Hideously screechy.

cake n' cuddles

I wasn't too wild for this one. The limoncello and peony combination is harsh, chemically, shampooy on me. The caramel and benzoin sit very close to the skin in the dry down, while the limoncello floral combination shrieks in the beginning. Not at all my thing. Will be giving away the rest of the sample in a giveaway this spring.

svetlana.kogan.73

beautiful summer or spring daytime fragrance for women under 40, or those who want to feel very young and fresh for a change. I get a strong peony and limoncello opening. On the midnote, the citrus fades and you are left with peony and honey. Very sweet and girly. For the Miu Miu set.

jdawg

And yet again, a very subtle and refreshing scent from Prada. Love it. Not too offensive on the nose and not too weak for the need to spray at least 5-6 times. The attractivenes of the bottle is a plus. Suitable for women of all ages.

mitchy-fleur

First of all, I need to say that the reason I love this perfume is due to the packaging which is super adorable. I did get a paper sample from local department store before my dad bought me this and I actually like the scent. It smells like what it says, very floral and it dries down caramelly sweet. This is the kind of scent that won't offend anyone. My only problem with this perfume is the longevity. It only last for 2 hours on my skin and I have to reapply it which turn out to be a big disappointment since it cost around $100 here in Indonesia.

Pictelf

I bought this after getting a tester in a magazine a few months ago. I was just so impressed how 'nice' and fresh it smelled. It is just short of being too powdery sweet. I tend to wear it on my décolletage inside my clothes as it lasts longer and seems to keep a slightly more spicy/oriental note. I noticed it smelled peppery on my mams wrist and seems to fade quicker on mine.
The 30ml bottle I bought lasted two months, pretty much a wee squirt or two everyday :-) Thankfully my mam bought me the bigger bottle for my birthday.
When I bought the first bottle I did smell the other two on paper, Candy was way too sweet as I expected. Found it really cloying. L'eau I thought had hints of a lighter Coco which I thought might be nice. I did try L'eau on my wrist recently and it didn't work on my skin at all.
A very wearable everyday scent, not too heavy/sweet with a nice freshness but I do try to keep it down to one or two sprays.

andabri

So here's the thing, this smells weird. Synthetic sugar baby powder, floral shampoo mix that is a bit... cringe worthy. It is not pleasant. This is the fragrance when I put my nose close to wrist and sniff.

HOWEVER, the projection scent this gives off is beautiful. It's a very clean, fresh, soapy floral. Wafts a few feet around me. It's similar to that smell you give off after having a nice hot shower and using beautifully scented soaps; that fresh, clean, universally loved smell.

Never really experienced a fragrance that is so different smelled up close vs. how the projection/wafts of it in the air smell.

hissyknit

So Prada scents have not been kind to me. I end up smelling like a sixty year old lady sitting in a hot trailer during a heat wave. Honestly, it's not the perfumes but I suspect it's me which makes me wonder about I really will smell like at age 60.

But I digress. I got a sample from Sephora and spray it on right before I jumped in the shower, ready to scrub it off. In the first ten seconds, I realized I really like this. Sadly I had to jump in the shower to go to work but I sprayed it back on.

This lasted on me six hours. A deliquent 13 year male student actually complimented me on smelling good. This is HUGE because he constantly tries to come up with new insults pertaining to my romantic life.

I love this. Every time, I get ready to write a school suspension form, I smell it and smile. And not just smiling from getting rid of a rude teenager. I LOVE the scent.

chicagogirl

Smells nothing at all like the rest of the perfumes in the Prada Candy line. Prada Candy and Prada Candy L'eau are very similar in that L'eau is just a calmer, less caramel-y version of its sister. They both have that sort of sweet, lipstick wax-y but warm and pleasant scent.

This, however, is something completely different. It's very floral, not in a synthetic way though. It's a fresh, cool flowers scent - it smells as if you are literally sitting in the little floral section of the grocery store. I think it's really realistic. I detect no other notes besides the floral notes. It's not for me. But if you love the smell of florals you'll love it. If you love Prada Candy + PC L'eau and expect this to be similar to those two you will be disappointed.

Bibi13

I love this one!! Actually, I m wearing it the last 2 months and I love it for daytime!! For me, it is fresh, very clean in a good way, girly, sexy and warm and it makes me happy!!! Love the body lotion also!!

polkadot27

I smell soapy peony. Honestly I don't understand the fascination with prada scents, well other than the brand name of course. But seriously I have yet to experience one of their fragrances that I have found iconic and unique and felt blown away.

I really wanted to like this one, the bottle is so cute and beautiful. However I get a soapy synthetic Peony with somewhat metallic undertones. The caramel and Benzoin were unidentifiable to me.

Museumgal

I was surprised I liked this one considering that I'm not a fan of peony. BUt it was just a touch flowery, a little boozy, and then the dry down was sweet, warm and lovely. Not as strong as the original but still delicious, and more subtle. Lasts about 4 hours.

coco76

First and foremost this is a PEONY perfume.....in your face, screaming, peony. Now, I like Peony in a perfume....but I like it the way I like Madonna in a movie; in a supporting role, NOT as the lead. I was excited to try this one as I was hoping for something a little less intense than the original flanker. If only there was a happy medium between the two!
Benzoin is one of my favourite notes...but it doesn't exist for me in this one. Neither does the caramel, or the limoncello.
I almost bought this one blindly and I am SO VERY glad I got the sample first...I am disappointed that it does not work with my chemistry, I SO wanted it to!
Run of the mill shrieking floral on me...not sweet, no gourmand, and NOT what I was hoping for!

Jcnna

At first this smells lovely but then it change something what my granny use. Hmh. :/

zenbabylove

This is very much like a softer version of Dior Cherie, not as strong and easier to wear.

Togiii

Wearing this perfume for the second time and I don't have the same impression anymore. A note in this perfume has turned somewhat chemical, a thing I hate the most a perfumes.

JulieG123

This is a lovely scent. Fresh, floral, very pretty and delicate. For some reason I seem to be able to smell violets shortly after spraying! After 5 hours I could still smell the scent on my skin which by this time was a really clean, just showered type smell, which reminds me of something I cant quite put my finger on but could be some M&S bath/shower products I once received as a gift. Unfortunately, it seems to have little to no projection. Despite being sat directly next to my husband he couldn't smell anything even when the fragrance had only been applied shortly before. Such a shame as I really love this, but, whilst not wanting to overpower everyone, some sillage would be nice. Quite pricey for a skin scent, lovely as it is this has made my like list but is not yet on my want list.

BenBnBe

When I first smelled I say:OMG,WTF is this?Than I smelled it yesterday,and I was totally in shock,how beautiful fresh,floral,powdery,soapy sceny is this!
On me,is the peony the prominent note with a honey base and with a limoncello in the background which take a fresh feeling, and the peony on me is very soapy, powdery, just gorgeous!
The dry down is a warm floral scent, with the original candy in the background,(musky, and too much)!
For a spring is a perfect refreshing scent,with peony,honey,musk!
Nothing like ths other two,but something different,and I like it a lot!Looooove iiit,so beautiful!

WickedKitty9

Im a big fan of the Prada Candy line.. But testing this on me it smells like cheap floral and synthetic to me. I get not caramel or honey.

spicyserena

I tried this a few times and I can say I like it and will get a bottle eventually. The floral, peony, is intense upon spraying. At the same time, in the background, there is also a sweetness similar to Candy but less intense than Candy. This floral is beautiful because it is fresh and lasting and most importantly not cloying, which some florals can be such as Chanel Chance Eau Tendre (to me).

This is my favourite out of the 3 Candy. The original Candy, has lots of fans, and I find well done but has a powdery household pesticide smell (to me and on me) perhaps because of the intense sweetness and complexity. I live in the tropics so I get mainly hot and humid weather. I will wear Candy Florale to work or days when I want something light but feminine and not cloying.

jedrzejowskia

Candy? Where's the candy? Plain boring and generic floral.
Nothing new, nothing groundbreaking. Smells like fabric softener to me. Which I don't even use because they smell like cheap florals to me.

DarlingNikki

This is really trying to pull me in! I sprayed it on a tester card, sniffed and then sniffed again some minutes later. I'm leaning towards it far more than the original (too much benzoin for me), but it has a smell that is too familiar, like a million other floral/fruity slightly gourmand scents that are on the market these days. I'll probably end up with a bottle though, just so I can say I have something by Prada, LOL!

pixiewinks

testing this today... def much more floral, soapy and powdery then prada candy, which smells too strong of caramel for me.

I don't love this perfume and I wouldn't buy it but I bet the 2 layered would be amazing!
scent: 7
packaging: 8

chillalot

Very fresh and clean...soapy...smells like you just stepped out of the shower. ..but in a femine way...a lot of so called fresh scents veer towards masculine clean linen...Prada never fails me...I would wear this on a hot humid day. ..or for work

fiouu

Floral fruity gourmand? Wth this is barely floral, and not fruity. It's not good. Kind of cheap smell compared to other Prada Perfumes.

dgus82

I really like this. Prada candy and Prada Candy L eau are missing a floral element. Some may like very strong sweet syrup but not me I need some flowers. I was hoping for a mix Prada Candy with a floral twist but to my surprise not what I was expecting. But I really liked it it's good to see everyone getting out of the fruity floral craze and back to something that can be taken seriously. I still think if Prada Florale was mixes with Prada Candy original it would be perfect. But this is light and not too citrus with some sweet and warmth but I love it I'm glade to see perfume companies trying to match everyone's taste ex.. Escada Especially delicate notes, Escada Especially, and Escada Especially Elixir one for everybody.

Contessa01

This is really nice. I actually prefer this to the original prada candy which is a bit linear and sweet although still nice. This is floral and fresh and dries down to a soapy floral. I have found myself really wanting this one, I might need to get it!
Edit: Seriously could not stop thinking about this fragrance, I just love it. I fear it will be discontinued like these flankers usually are so I may buy a backup bottle. Absolutely fantastic fresh floral fragrance!

simbeast

i was really excited to try this, because you don't see limoncello in many perfumes, and i am a fan of the original candy. unfortunately, candy eau florale has nothing in common with the original.

the pink juice and the bottle are very pretty, but the stuff inside smells like bubblegum. i think it is probably a scent suitable for teens and younger people, although i don't know how they're going to afford the hefty prada price tag.

Jenny-Rebecca

Other notes I have noticed after wearing....

Soapy (after about an hour)
A hint of C Howard's Purple Violet Mints

It seems there are some other notes too that I just can't place yet...

rickyrebarco

This was almost a scrubber on my skin. It opened with such a blast of heavy florals engulfed by sweet sugar syrup, very synthetic and plasticky smelling. The lemony part of the limoncello did not really come through on my skin, just a gooey syrup smell and viscous feel. As time went by, the scent did improve quite a bit. The benzoin saved it and some vanilla. I also smell some wood notes, too. Ultimately I think someone who likes gourmands and is willing to wait an hour until the benzoin and basenotes come in might at least like this one. Young girls would probably like it from the topnotes on.

jolituks

It smells nothing like the original Prada Candy. To me, it smells like bathroom air freshener. I would never buy it.

Jenny-Rebecca

This was such a surprise as it is so much different than its predecessors.

Candy Florale is fresher, lighter, and sweet with a warm dry down from the benzoin, caramel, honey and musky notes.

I went into to my favorite perfume shop that day expecting to purchase a bright citrusy floral but there was something intriguing about this.

Sweet. Sensual. Fun. Fresh. Alluring.

Cinnanym

smells nice at first, but quickly goes away. longevity and sillage are horrendous. had high hopes for this but the original candy is MILES better.

misstierra05

This is a lovely scent on me, I tested this yesterday along with daisy dream and both are at the top of my must have list. I was unable to wear the first two but this wears lovely on me and I think it's a nice go for floral lovers like myself.

Paolina

I bought it last week for the second time: this perfume is fantastic on my skin and as I have a lot of problems by finding the right fragrance this sweet and sexy perfume is the best I found ever!

I will buy it also in winter time because is not true that it lasts just few hours, I can smell it on clothes even after the washing ...

I love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Marie76

I am embarrassed to say I love it...it's an unapologetic fruity floral, with a dry down of caramel. Projects very well indeed and doesn't remind me of candy, which I hate. The peony ( one of my pet hate smells) it's direct and unadultered, but made stronger by the sweet notes, which has the rare effect of making this note interesting, if still quite unidimensional. I never thought I'd like this but I do!

Tovah

On me it's a weak floral that doesn't have so much as a hint of the gorgeous Candy. If it was Candy with some flowers, I may not have loved it, but I would have appreciated it. Candy Florale smells like something concocted by Saveonscents for use in soaps and candles. Definitely not in the same realm as Candy,Prada Amber, and Infusion d'iris.

odisse

After reading most of your reviews, I had a clue what the scent would actually be like, and spritzing it on my wrist earlier today proved me right. This isn't really bad, but it's boring, very safe and lacks personality. And in a strange way I actually like that it is boring and blank! BUT, I do not think it is in its most suitable price range.

Actually, I have a scent that is really similar to this, it is called Panos Emporio Floral Secret and isn't as pricy as the Prada, it's not listed on the site. Floral secret is more wood though, but all in all they're quite the same. Longevity isn't that good for either of the scents but because of the fact that I'm not quite in love with either of them, I don't give it too much thought. Maybe good for layering.

jeanbean7777

Bottle.is pretty......too bad about the scent. Lol.......the.scent is a.c minus in my book. I really like the original productsfrom the line. The candy is amazing. This one is just too ordinary.

bluepistachio

This is okay, but nothing like Prada Candy. I expected it to keep the delicious scent but a touch of petals here and there. The flowers are prominent, completely different scent. It doesn't smell unique or memorable. It sure is pleasant and nice but not what I was looking for.

StellaDiverFlynn

With the juicy lemon in the opening and fresh, clean peony in the heart, Prada Candy Florale seems more like a whatever citrus floral fragrance than a flanker of Candy line. This duet of lemon and peony lasts about 4 hours, then the gourmand elements of Candy finally peep through, adding a slightly powdery sugary edge, which actually makes the concoction smell like lemon sorbet, and more interesting than the phase before. In the late drydown, I also detect a more prominent rosy nuance, which makes the whole scent smell like a demure litchi note.

The sillage of Candy Florale is very soft and the longevity around 7 hours. Although Candy Florale is not a very original composition, I find it very smooth and enjoyable throughout its development and doesn't have the annoying laundry-like base as some fragrances do. I'd recommend it as a citrus floral fragrance for warmer weather. And if you did not enjoy the original Candy or Candy L'Eau, you might still enjoy Candy Florale as they're quite different.

Perfumedsecrets

I see what they've done here. Since it has a lot of peony they toned down the original Candy notes. If they didn't it would be too heavy and cloying with a majorly sweet floral.

genny17

You could easily remove the Candy part of the name, this is totally different from the first two, and not that sweet to my nose..it is a soft pretty pink floral, very light, loongevity is poor..only lovers of soft discreet scents would like it.it is a bit like Chloe eau florale,Burberry Brit Sheer, the list is long of those soft pink scents , not unique, not great, like quickly put together almost..a bit boring I admit..

EmiliM

What's the point of a flanker it it doesn't resemble the original at all?
I love the original Candy. It's warm, cozy and very elegant in a young and nonchalant way.
This, however, is pink and sweet. That's it. It's young but not elegant at all, cheap even.

rue_de_la_roux

Tried this today. I was on a smelling spree and tested out 5 fragrances I had been waiting to get my nose into. This was the biggest disappointment of them all. BTW I am a fan of the original Candy. Florale didn't resemble the original Candy at all. All I could smell was peony and guess what? I do not like peony. It reminded me of an air freshener. No thanks.

sherapop

This Prada Candy flanker, Candy Florale, reminds me of either Ferré Rose or Ferré Rose Princess--or perhaps a cross between the two? Pink, sweet, and abstract "rose". The rose probably refers to the color, not the flower...

Here the named flower is peony, but basically this is a pink fragrance, from start to finish. No need to attach any specific floral metaphors, it seems to me... It's really a part of the tsunami of sweet pink in which department stores are currently awash.

Limoncello sorbet? Sure, why not? Or perhaps a pink sherbet would be more appropriate? (Artificial flavoring and color added.)

lirael00

I like Candy but I think I like this even more as it has more freshness to it. Shame about the longevity which could've been improved, otherwise no complaints.

Julie Billi

too synthetic to me....

Arlene-Beatrix

Absolutely ladylike fragrance! Very gentle, comforting, and little sweet - caramel is put here in moderation. The more I smell it, the more I like it!

Update: It is very nice, but also very... safe. I mean it is perfect office fragrance. Subtle femininity, I would say. However, something here is missing for me.

MeThePerson

I've already given this a positive review, but yesterday my wife put this on before going out and it smelled absolutely amazing! It caught me out as I didn't immediately recognise it and I confused it with both Lady Million and Coco Mademoiselle before my recognition kicked in!
The warmth of the summer day really kicked the sweeter notes off beyond how they normally present themselves and it genuinely makes a great SUMMER alternative to the CANDY range because of this. [Of course, it could just be that my wife is fortunate to have very good skin and most fragrances compliment her well.]

If you have already tried this and favoured the warmer richer notes of the original, I urge you to treat it more as a warmer weather experience or in a warmer environment like a club. It shines!

shamila10

i really wanted to like this cos the bottle is so cute and pretty. the day it came out i went to smell it and was hugely disappointed.i dont know what i was expecting but it is what it is. its says florale and it sure is florale. the only thing i can smell is this one note that seems very sharp on the nose amd hits the back off my throat. after a while i smelt it again and i could only smell the one same note sticking out. not much creativity went into this and i feel its something they just mixed together and threw out there.

Donaldquick123

Prada candy Florale oh my what's a strange alien like perfume but u know what I actually really really like it! I bought this from sephora online and could not wait for it to get here! The day it arrived I was so happy it has the original Prada candy box but on the outside is the little black and white flowers like those used in the advertisement. When I first sprayed the perfume my nose was greeted with a somewhat sunscreeny smell that I loved mixed with a some what light sexy and soft floral scent the lasting power on me is about 3 hours which is good considering it's a eau de toilette. All in all I actually really like this perfume! One of my favorites for summer 2014! Now for the advertisement I love the idea of the ad it very sexy retro glamour and model lea seydoux looks absolutely stunning in this ad it's very sexy and I believe it portrays the scent perfectly fun, sexy, soft, and different! 10/10

ScarlettX

I am a huge fan of the two previous Candy perfumes, so I was looking forward to try this one.
At first I must say that this perfume is not bad. It's a beautiful floral scent. I am amazed how bright and nice peony note can be. Nothing sharp or synthetic. It's the best peony I have smelled in perfumes.
But the downside is - there's not much "Candy" in it. At least not for me. It's just a nice floral scent, suitable for spring and summer.
It's also lacking that high maintenance Prada- elegance.
So, there's not much Candy, there's Peony.
I believe, it's worth a try, it's just not as amazing as the other "candies" for me.
Maybe Prada is trying to amaze people who weren't amazed by previous Candy fragrances...

I am not a fan of sweet scents, so I really did not enjoy the previous Prada Candy fragrances. Today I had a chance to test this one and... finally a Candy flanker that I like!

First of all, this has nothing to do with original Prada Candy.
Second of all, it is a regular floral fragrance.

It's quite strong, peony-floral fragrance, that smells like a bouquet of fresh flowers. I can detect the lemon and a little bit of honey. Don't really feel the caramel, though. It's not sweet, but fresh and floral.

I really enjoy this scent. It's a nice suprise for all floral lovers :)

Okay so if you think you could like Prada candy florale because you liked other Candy perfumes, change your mind ! You really have to try this first because caramel is not present, which is what we like in Candy. This perfume is a fresh floral perfume for spring and summer, rather light, longevity is average. It is nice, but nothing to do with the original edition, not gourmand.
The bottle is a really nice pink color (okay this is better than original Candy bottle) but I was deceived by this perfume, I was expecting a nice caramel/honey mixed scent.

Extremely disappointed and surprised!
Nothing like the orginal. Very weak scent like a body spray (though some last long) which is still lingering on my skin but very weak and no sillage.

The original is my preferred choice and this is much stronger than Florale!

This fragrance is pleasant enough but literally millions of other fragrances smell similar. The gourmand notes are very light indeed. Also this on the musky side. I much prefer the original.

The clue is in the title... A delicate, light, floral fragrance that, I think, stands away from the original CANDY as it is meant to. This definitely explores the softer and gentler side of PRADA's Candy girl.
The Limoncello is substantially there in the top notes alongside either the honey or the signature trio of Caramel, Benzoin and Musk cocktail of CANDY that begins to dry off after the first 40+ minutes(on MY skin, at least) and relinquishes to the delicate, feminine and slightly more powdery heart note which begins to take on an ever more organic floral tone as it develops.
As others have commented, not an aggressive projection and more of a personal space fragrance. I re-sprayed this after 3 hours as I wanted to layer the Limoncello and honey notes again over the florals, but that is a personal preference and I think my wife will prefer the dry down better than me.
Although this is a big jump away from the more aggressive gourmand(and still my favourite) that the original EDP is, PRADA are being completely honest by insisting this is an IMAGINARY flower that their CANDY girl loves.
Nice... Pretty... Fresh...
... And actually slightly sexy... In an innocently romantic, fairy tale way.
