Fresh, clean, soapy, floral

Smack bang unisex for me, some whiffs smell slightly more feminine, you go back to check and smells slightly more masculine.

Very nice fragrance - slight urine smell that you sometimes get with flowers which is what I think I get here, not unpleasant though.

Unique and interesting fragrance....It is fresh, smokey and sweet....You must try a sample first.....This fragrance is not for everyone....Beast mode.....12+ hours longevity and strong sillage....

Lejhand

Okay, so a friend of mine gifted Rasasi Shuhrah to me recently. For context, I'm a big fan of sweeter fragrances, but I also enjoy fresh and floral fragrances too and let me tell you, this one IS NOT IT for me.

This is a very polarizing leather, oud scent that has a very prominent tomato leaf note that smells bitter on my skin. At the dry down the tomato leaf's bitterness slowly disappears but because of shuhrah's fantastic performance, that more pleasant dry down doesn't happen until HOURS later.

Im 21 so I don't think I'm of the age that can rock this fragrance. I envision a successful man in his 40s rocking this fragrance.

Pros- Fantastic longevity and sillage, smells a lot more expensive than it's price
Cons- Not mass-pleasing at all, Only suitable for those who are into dark, intense, woody scents

Overall- 5/10 for me

Just wish the tomato leaf note wasn't as bitter or instead it had a more prominent floral/fruity accord

officezero

I got this from so many reviews on fragrantica and would not recommend to blind buy this one.
It's strong. Way too strong like the attars of Arabia. It has this typical cheesy fragrance that screams this is for 45-50 year olds. Definitely not for office goers in their 30s.
It is strong and will stay on your skin.
I am gonna put this off for a month and see if it settles down a bit.
It has so many notes but the typical smell is so overpowering.

Moosyjay

I can't believe nobody has said this is just like Creed Himalaya. In the drydown it's nearly identical.

Nubee

For those who says this thing is unique, My brother in frags Every middle eastern fresh fragrance has the same shitty Smell. average 5$ perfume smell the same, no hate to the house, theyre fantastic but this one is not unique. maybe "Fresh"

iniodar

Definitely sample first. I thought I hated it, but I find myself going back to this fragrance. Two sprays are enough to go nuclear, a sheer big bang for your bucks (if that's what you're after).

I'm not sure how to describe this fragrance, not exactly a soapy freshie, not sweet, also not quiet arabian vibe. Sometimes I hate it, but I find myself coming back sniffing it. Such a confusing fragrance, and if you're in for an unhealthy relationship with a fragrance where you don't know where you stand, this one is for you. I'm still undecided whether I hate/love it.

Beast mode .. 😁 Not for newbie

The smell is okay... but not as strong as many described in the comments below!

MrMrBrian

So many fragrances bought I don’t remember now the details on how I was shown mine is a vintage bottle of this & if there is truly even a difference..But I decided to wear it today and it’s definitely a powerhouse! Someone on here said it well, Said it smelled like someone took a shower with Rose soap & got out & smoked a ciggerette. This bottle is an older bottle But never really wore it till today & I never realized how sweet & fresh this was, “But” or “ “Except” The smoke here is excactly that of Amouage Myths Man.. I don’t know which one has more! But the Smoky ash does remind me of that same cigarette ash. But I’m a non smoker & like it! I wore this to work today & know everyone around me smelled it & recieved no complements & almost sure I never will. But I purchased it because I like it and “again” Hunted down a vintage bottle because I knew long ago when I bought a decant, It was during the era of the older formulation according to really old reviews on here, May not even be a difference in what’s out there now. But definitely an acquired taste.

Miracle.Fragrance

THE UNNOTICED SMOKY FRESHIE

I like smoky fragrances. Shuhrah has a strange strong smoky accord. It's not dark. It does not remember violet, leather, orris, ash, tar or tarmac. It is a fresh sweet smoky accord that dominates the quite linear scent that emanates from my skin. The scent is very appealing and it does not seem to change all through its longevity.
It's also a very versatile scent as it gives you woody, sweet, smoky, fresh and floral vibes allowing you to use this fragrance in many occasions and opportunities. It is subtle enough without being discrete. It has a big projection and sillage but ensures it with a light presence lingering in the air.
There is another feature worthy to be mentioned. There is neither musk nor patchouli in this fragrance. The note combination is an odd one as it seems not to exist in any other perfume. I only found a similar note combination in a couple of Roja fragrances that do add a myriad of other notes to the actual notes of Shuhrah.
The oud note is present but it's a very peaceful, well-behaved oud.
This fragrance is both strange and alluring. It may become addictive if you fancy its uniqueness, although that is not my case. One thing I can assure you: It's a different and unique fragrance, at least for me.
Let's see my math for Shuhrah:
________________
- Scent Opening: 6.5 (strange but somewhat pleasant opening)
- Scent Dry Down: 7.5 (my judgement)
- Longevity: 9.0 (10 hours+ with two sprays)
- Sillage: 8.5 (more than 8~10 feet at its peak with 2 sprays)
- Uniqueness: 10.0 (strange and unique to me)
- Compliments: 7.5 (not a serious compliment grabber; I wonder why?)
- Wearability: 8.5 (It's not a winter scent even if the notes used make you think about that possibility. But use it day or night in the other seasons)
- Versatility: 9.0 (You may use it in almost any situation, although some perfumes are more adequate for clubbing and formal events. I consider it to be unisex)
- Quality: 8.0 (my judgement)
- Presentation: 7.0 (effective but to simple. It does not stand out and the flask seems to share the design of a common drugstore perfume)
- Price: 8.5 (100 ml non-tester for 26 Euros + shipping)
________________
Overall rating: 8.0610.00
- between 7 and 8 =above average;
- between 8 and 9 = recommended;
- bigger than 9 = don't miss it;

My opinion: I recommend this unique and almost fresh fragrance only if you like to experiment with unusual fragrances. Otherwise do try it first. It is a love/hate fragrance and you may not love it at all...

Guys, this does not smell like cigarettes, ash, drunk guy or whatever some people talk about. Maybe the 2020 incident broke many people's olfactory senses.
This smells sweet, vegetal, floral, fresh, leathery, has a great projection and lasts long. Great quality for great price. Safe blind buy imo, and could easily be a signature scent.
Perfumes like this one makes me less mad on this perverse industry. Good job, Rasasi. Thank you.

Potricio

@NightHawk1616 I can only agree with you, to me smells like a drunkard smoking a cigarette. What an irony, fragrances like this one always have beastly performance.

NightHawk1616

This is the most polarising fragrance I have come across my entire life. Smells like fresh cheap leather with ashtray and cigarette smoke. Starts off as soapy and not in a good way, the dries down to leather, smoke and ash. Definitely headache inducing and annoying in an office. This was the best performing fragrance I have owned. Projected for more 5-6 hours, lasted more than 24 hours on my hand. Even after multiple washing and rough scrubbing this fragrance was not going anywhere. I put some fresh clothes with the shirt I put this frag on, now my entire wardrobe smells like this 🤦♂️ I sold it off for a loss.
This is not for everyone, PLEASE DON’T BLIND BUY THIS ONE!

tpsvk7

Some have said this is a love or hate. It's a big love for me. The notes were intriguing but not what I typically gravitate towards. Nevertheless, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to grab this for AUD $35 ( US $23) and I'm so glad I did. There are light florals and some greenness intertwined in the base of ashy tobacco and as weird as it sounds, it just works.

With its combination of greens/florals, tobacco and leather accords, fans of 80's powerhouses such as the ones shamus1 below mentioned would appreciate this one.

kizaki_dwiky

I'm kinda hate this fragrances in the first try, but time by time slowly, i kinda smell this perfume is also has sweet scent, i don't know what this sweet came from, maybe sandalwood? 🤔 The performance are totally beast no need to explain and don't overspray it. Ima thinking to take full bottle, this is also safe is not that stingy, but still suitable for religious event, yeah it's like a sacred scent. Good for religious occasion 8/10 ✨

shamus1

Remember back in the 80s when they made fragrances that were heavy and strong enough to cut through clouds of cigarette smoke in a nightclub? That's what this is. If you like 80s power scents, but think they've been watered down in reformulation, this is for you. This is STRONG. Very complex, I swear I can smell all of the notes listed, with oakmoss, tomatoe leaf and leather most prominent. It smells like soap blended with moss and smoke. I definitely get the ashtray vibe from this. This is a thick, heavy scent.

If you're into macho stuff like Sung Homme and Quorum, you will love this. One spray of this superpowerful juice will unleash clouds of sillage all day, and then some. Brutal.

RadiantR

I've not smelt anything else like this juice. It smells like the morning after a night out in Las Vegas spent a smoke filled bar with a cheap woman of the night. I love it, and suprisingly, my partner does too. Go easy with the trigger. I've got a spare bottle for when it's eventually discontinued.

a.elmahdy

This one is very unique, the best soapy fragrance I have ever smelled so far. It smells like a man who took a shower with a rose scented bar of soap in the woods, then smoked a cigarette afterwards. It constantly changes until it settles. It has a sweet rose soapy mid, with a touch of green notes in the opening and a smokey spicy woods in the dry down. The smoky note is sweet mossy with ashtray touch, so not as sharp as a real cigarette smoke. I don't really get leather in the dry down, but instead I get the standard spicy mossy oud that is very familiar in middle eastern fragrances.
As everybody highlighted, this fragrance is very very strong. It has 90% alcohol by volume, so it seems they really had to add a lot of alcohol to tone it down. It can be a bit abrasive for some noses, and will definitely dominate any other fragrance in a crowd. It stays a whole day on the skin and for at least 3-4 days on clothes. If you sprayed Shuhra on clothes and stack them on top of each other, or sprayed it on layered clothes, it will even penetrate and migrate to other layers to reach your skin. It is a masculine scent, and could be worn all year round, although it shines most during winter and cold weather.

If you are adventurous enough and you like twisted unique/bold scents, give it a blind buy try. It is so cheap yet with niche quality. I think this will be in my collection until Rasasi stops producing it.

Backtable

This stuff is, "Hang...fire!" and when it impacts down-range, you'll whiff it from 8 klicks away. It's. That. Strong. Must be the rose and tomato leaf that mix to produce an instant ashen aroma, a somewhat burnt, metallic effect at the outset that I find difficult to sit through? The far dry-down has a lingering and strong soapy effect I don't care for, either. I like Middle Eastern scents, and Rasasi has some good ones, but this one simply doesn't work for me. It may for you and with a 4+ rating it obviously does for others, but I would try before buying. It's strong.

josiahmchristian

I blind bought this because it sounded so intriguing. When spayed in the air this smells so unique and inviting in a good way! I want that fresh air spray again and again. Unfortunately, it smells different on skin & clothes and I don’t like it. I wore it twice, super powerful, almost old auntie/feminine vibe. I still spray it in the air occasionally for that first impression but otherwise it doesn’t get used.

Phlip903

This is a first impressions for now. I'll return once I've had the chance to wear this for an entire day, especially since it will take that long for this to drydown.

I just received this juice yesterday and it's a May 2023 batch. So, no maceration has occurred yet. Be careful when spraying this because the sprayer is pretty good and puts a lot of juice on each spray. I just sprayed one of my wrists yesterday and immediately knew this strength is as advertised. I was prepared for that. But what I wasn't so sure about was how it would develop off my skin. The only thing consistent with the reviews for this one is that it's split 50/50 if the wearer will enjoy this. Put me in the category that loves this! Yes, it's soapy and typically, I hate soapy scents...I find them boring. This one hits differently. We all know what the notes are, but I think it's more helpful to describe what I smelled. So, on the first spray, I got fresh spicy and clean...but strong. I don't have experience smelling tomato leaves, but I believed that note had a significant influence on the opening. Next, this soapy quality is a bit rosy and leathery and for me this keeps this soapy nature from being boring like the typical blue soapy scents. It's like this soapy nature is sitting on woods (cedar, sandalwood, oud). This is a very pleasant part of the scent for me. It will stay like this for awhile. My last experience with this in my first impression was what people are probably calling the ashy tray vibe. That might be the oakmoss and amber starting to come through, but me to it didn't smell like an ashtray, but like a dirty woods. That dirty woods just supported the journey verses leading it.

I can't really rate it until I give it a full wear, but I'm very pleased with this purchase. It will get some reps this winter for sure. Full review coming once I get a full day with it.

UPDATE 12/18:
Ok, so this bottle is in a dark place macerating currently. I gave this a full wearing this weekend and I'm very pleased with this juice. The part I was most worried about, especially looking at the comments, was the smell. I was very happy with how this smelled. Like a soapy rose and leather scent. It feels like it should be Bond 007's fragrance as he holds the stem of a rose with his teeth as he leans up against a luxurious car with the top down lol. This fragrance does turn a bit green, but it adds character and depth to my nose. The longevity wasn't as nuclear as everyone else has said, but I believe a two to four week timeout should improve that. The longevity wasn't bad however, as I got a very solid 8 hours out of it. The silage and projection are already very strong. Definitely a room-filler. This is one where the dosage matters. Outside = 4 - 5 sprays should do well. Inside = 2 sprays (one on chest and the other on the back of the neck). The crowd that would like this would be the mature noses. 30-35 and up. This scent is VERY unique. Compliments may vary, so this needs to be something YOU like, verses wearing for compliments. I don't think this is signature scent kinda stuff, but wear what the hell you like. I'll reserve this formal events, outdoor shindigs, or something were you just want to smell different and be assured others around will know you're there.

This is without maceration:
Projection: 10 out of 10
Silage: 10 out of 10
Longevity: 8 out of 10
Scent: 9.5 out of 10
Price: 15 out of 10
Overall: 10 out of 10

SirComScion33

Smells like dove soap off the rip, then it’s gets like a weird spicy-green funk. Slightly powdery, I don’t get rose at all. Weird fragrance, definitely don’t blind buy like I did.

Fr4gr4nt1cA

Can be nauseating and headache giving if sprayed too much, 2 sprays are enough.

Yadnahe

Very strong fragrance smells good but very nuclearly strong 💪
don't over spray
Getting headache 🤕
Good projection 😉
Don't blind buy

ibonia

Ok, so bummed about the soapy opening. I thought I would get a fresh leaf smell (like an actual tomato leaf) and some leathery warmth on impact, maybe a little indoles. No, this is soap. Awaiting further developments.

EDIT: Two minutes in, okay, the leather is coming. Smells like a ton of soap, and a normal amount of leather.

EDIT: Ok, then it goes to leather. Then just dries to a powdery musk. Not a LICK of tomato leaf! That is soap, baby! That is concentrated industrial-use soap from a barrel! Bummer.

Spoonofslurry

I was hoping for a nice balance between the florals and leather/ woods (and tobacco?) But my bottle is just full on in your face soapy florals. Nuclear soap!

I still pull it out and try again every so often hoping I'll finally "get it" but I don't think there's much hope for me with this one.

Edit: How is Tobacco Blaze the most "smells like" ?! I saw someone say there must be two versions of this stuff in the same bottle and I have to agree. Unless your Tobacco Blaze smells like Grandma's purse, which is a whole other problem.

ariemay

I tried the decant of it and I love the flavour. Masculine rose and seductive. My daughter love it scent and it still strong in my neck after 3-4 hours activity in outdoor. Longevity is awesome so do to sillage. It match to someone above 30 years old and can be wear anytime. I will buy the product in payday

JusttheFactsMan

#387 in my "Tour de Fragrance"

Not "Pour" any "Homme" I know. Well I do know one who wears lipstick and earrings who'd definitely wear this, and even they might not appreciate the heavy rose note, but I'll make the offer. This by many measures is a great scent, but way too floral for me, and I am someone who can do a lot of floral. Projects like a 120mm mortar. So go very, very easy with this. It would be slightly right of unisex but for the strong rose note which makes it come off "grandma", so I just can't and it's a shame. If they replaced the rose with iris I'd probably be up for this. But as is, I would hesitate to wear this at all, not to the office, certainly not in a carpool, elevator, close spaces. It is too much. I didn't spray much of it and now my entire house smells of it.

garantis28

January 2023 batch - absolutely NUCLEAR. Not sure where the “reformulation” rumors started but if Shuhrah was reformulated, it did not lose its potency.

I’ve had a 2021 batch before and the 2023 seems slightly different. I get less of the ashy tobacco, and more floral soapiness. That’s the first 45 minutes. Give it some time to dry a little, and what emerges is the leather, white musk, and creamy sandalwood and the gorgeous deep, dark rose.

Make no mistake about it - Rasasi has created an incredibly unique, niche quality fragrance for $30 US. This stuff is fantastic. It’s a very addictive scent that pulls you in. You’ll just want to keep smelling it over and over again. It’s just so damn good.

The problem with Shuhrah is that it’s not a “dumb reach” or easy to wear. You better be ready to be noticed because, one spray on the chest, and everyone within 10 feet of you is gonna smell it. It’s a unique and not necessarily mass appealing scent. This is definitely a challenging scent to wear because it will be polarizing to those around you. Some will love it, and some will hate it. As is life, I suppose.

It is strongly suggested that you test this on your skin to make sure it works. This is a fragrance that changes a lot from the paper strip to the skin.

Shuhrah is like a wild horse. IF you can catch it, IF you can break it in, and IF you can ride it to its potential, then it might just be a horse that wins you a triple crown. However, if you let this horse ride you, then it might just be a total disaster. Grab the reins, hold on tight, because Shuhrah is one hell of a ride.

syedsiddiq

To me this smells like Dark Fragrance and its like a Bad Naughty Boy in a Good Way.

Though its Dark and Little Smoky Scent but all notes are mixed well (Fruity, Leathery, Woody, Musky, Ambery & Tabacco) and good winter scent for Strong Character and Personality.

Vipu patel

it's like Aghori monk like scent by Rasasi but risky to wear.
Difficult to describe. It is ashy tobacco or leather with heavy dose of animalic florals. Long lasting.
Personally I don't like
So I gifted someone

This is the weirdest smelling fragrance in my collection. It has a smell that I can’t relate to whatsoever. It gets cloyingly sweet after a few hours. I’m going to let it sit for a month and come back to it. Mabey it needs to macerate for a bit. I’m not giving up on it.

j4yt33

After the slightly weird, rose-soap opening it smells dean-on like Amouage Myths Man to me. It has the same ashy-loud floral vibe. If you've missed out on Myths Man or if you're sad it has been discontinued, maybe give Shuhrah a go

rolcsi0904

Just used few sprays and hugged my mother , someone else after that started smelling it on my mother few hours later. Really strong projection, longevity is like 8+hours.Opening is hars for some people, but after few hours it's really pleasant in my opinion. Brought it to school, and my classmates said it's really bad smelling, so it's a 50/50.Could also be used to make your house smell good, you just need few sprays...

RonVel4304

Niche quality for $20 (Jan. 2023 batch). Heavy on leather, rose, and oud while also sweet. Lasts about 8 hours and projects like a monster on my skin. Absolutely love it!

DDtheperfumer

Being a user of Rasasi shuhrah, I think the websites and some youtubers mislead the customers of such an amazing profile. It's an unique perfume blended with rose🌹, tomato 🍅 leaves and smoky ashy scents. It's kind of a journey with full of mistery. The dry down is just amazing, it's like Aghori monk like scent. I think I will use this perfume as a signature smell due to it's uniqueness. The longevity on the skin is 10-12 hours, which is enough. My batch is latest 2022 manufactured. I'm honestly happy with the product.

Ofaruk

Ultra strong middle eastern Paco Rabanne Pour Homme with added “shay oud” dna in the background. You can find similar offerings from many other brands such as Swiss Arabian Jannat al Firdaus, Oud Maknoon, SHL Soleil de Jeddah, Rasasi Tobacco Blaze, Surrati Shay Cambodi and a dozen of others. A minor difference in Shuhrah is the presence of oakmoss, which adds a touch of 70s generic masculine vibe to it. It feels unnatural and potent in a strange way. However, I think that it is still a solid offering when you consider the low price tag. If you haven’t experienced the aforementioned perfumes and tolerate the “old school” vibe, Shuhrah is probably your gem.

Leeemaccc

Got mine from Notino and I’m not sure if it’s just my batch, but this is quite feminine. However I found that if you layer it with a more masculine scent it can smell really nicely. I’ve experimented with a few combos, and I found that this with Gucci guilty edt will make you smell like a player - only in summer however. Performance is average on skin, and great on clothes. 6/10.

One of the weirdest perfumes i ever smelt. Starts off soapy and floral and ends with a sweat like smell (i think its coming from the oud) and woods. A bit similar to nudiflorum by nasomatto in the drydown

Yes, it's a keeper!
I like the smell of tomato leaves, which it's a sharp smell, but not as astringent as the smell of the citruses, case in point, the controversial tomato leaf is NOT the prominent scent in the opening. It's more like a supporting actor on the second half of this "movie".
The opening of Shuhrah is OLD SCHOOL, mimicking the 1970's men's fragrances.
Shuhrah has a noticiable floral prominence, which reminded me of a weird vintage release of Paco Rabanne Pour Homme (amber bottle), which was not as the "honcho" powerhouse, that traditional juice in the green bottle, with the metallic PR on front.

Shuhrah turns FAST into a strong scent of SOAP BAR, the fancy kind, the artisan ones - those wrapped individually in silk paper, showing again another reference of the 70's.
Moving forward the fluid rosy soap bar scent transforms itself into a BEAUTIFUL powdery scent,
(it doesn't have the mastery of Prada though), but it has a SOLID powdery vibe. It's not de "old lady powdery", neither the "baby powdery" - instead, it's the masculine "barbershop powdery". It's feels like as a quasi-fougère to my nose.

In this upcoming fase, the tomato leaf says hi always in a secure distance.
The last fase is intriguing...
I don't get ANY smokiness, although someone passing by (on an arm's length distance) asked if someone smoking cigarettes had left the area. (?).

I got a subtle hint of sugar and the mildest sniff of agarwoud. I couldn't ever say that Shuhrah has a woody drydown.

The scent dies slowly, less sweet and less powdery, in very quiet motion.
I get 4-6 hours of solid performance spraying once both pulses only, the projection seems to be good but not as invasive or obnoxious like Sauvage.

Don't be afraid to try it, Shuhrah can perform beast mode if you heavy-hand it. If you are experienced and cautious the beast won't bite you.

It has supreme qualities of an eventful 1970's revival.
I get references of the classic men's perfumery, like the classic fougères, barbershop powder, artisan soap bars.
Shuhrah reminds me of a sort of potpourri of classic references like Chanel pour Monsieur, hints of eau sauvage, the weird ambery-version of Paco Rabanne por homme and even a subtle & distant taking on the traditional "Old Spice".

Shuhrah takes on an exit off of the perfumery highway, and runs side-by-side on its own lane. The fragrance is unfamiliar to the newer generations noses, but it is not as daring, or controversial as some reviewers are implying.
You may, or may not get a compliment, but you will feel good about yourself.

As the Greek philosopher Anaxogore, once said:
“Nothing is born or perishes, but already existing things combine and then separate again” (on newer versions of the same principle).

Whateverwhocares

Smells a little bit like pine sol mixed with grass and an array of flowers. Would make decent soap. I’d pick a similar DNA Tommy Bahama option over this. Doesn’t compare to Hawas.

Chanel de Lanvin

I wore it just yesterday, but I don't smell like tomato chips at all, to tell the truth I even wonder what it would smell like, certainly not a perfume.
Shuhrah is pleasant to wear in the spring, a beautiful floral aromatic.
I do not allow myself to be influenced by the description presented of the perfumes, this may lead to errors of perception

TYSONTORNADO

Shuhrah is the middle eastern version of PDM Kalan I would say. Not scent profile wise but the character itself. Bold, manly, dirty yet appealing. Super projecting. Longevity is decent. Will perform well in winter night outs.

Cigarettes, sheesha and leather jacket.

Performance is great 2-3 hr good projection...then..it comes little closer to skin but easily noticeable, Longetivity on skin easily 7-8 hrs...on clothes = DAYS !!! The dry down is WONDERFUL !!! Better to wear in cooler days compared to Summers exceeding 35° ...
If you are having this in your collection..no matter how much fragrances you own, your subconscious mind will automatically pick this one !! whether it be date, professional meeting, clubbing.
Longetivity mostly depends on your skin type.. for me it works.. !!! Most of the other beast mode perfumes don't performs that much on ky skin ... If you are not getting good longetivity..then spray some 10-20 sprays...Let the bottle sit for 6-8 weeks ,.. the fragrance will change a little bit... and then you are ready to rock ... And KEEP THIS SECRET !!!!

oud over in wonderland

It is 0% or 100% , love it or hate it, fortunately I love it! Very exotic and unique, I feel tomato leaf scent clearly(many people can't)
Longevity: very good
Sillage: very good
Bottle: good

verner

Tomato leaf and flower bomb. Not getting any leather out of this.
Reminds me of that that smell when you are in a zoo and walk into that building full of exotic animals. They have brought all these green plants and flowers to make their animals feel better.
My girlfriend says that it smells like a cleaning product...as you can see the opinions on Shuhrah can be very different but in my opinion most of them are negative 'cause everyone is used to those crowd pleasing scents which are actually great compared to some too unique fragrances which offers only that "eww what is that smell" kind of reaction.

Not my cup of tea, sold it immediately, might focus on those Sauvage type of freshies in the future....

robertandsheilaburke

Oh, my. SOOO UNIQUE. Beautiful fragrance throughout. Checks all the marks. Wonderful! If you want something different, this is your buy. Inexpensive, so if you don't like it, give it to someone. Take a chance on this one if you want something different.

Nadambriss

I haven’t smell anything like that , maybe it’s the tomato leafs that gives this feelings ..
Simply a great unique smell .

BDDII

You know that feeling when you smell a new fragrance and think "Huh, haven't I smelled something like this before?". No, no you haven't. This is so unique and truly a brilliant fragrance. Very similar to La Yuqawam Tobacco Blaze (same house) but in my opinion this is more interesting, more complex, and performs much better. This fragrance somehow manages to be clean, floral, green, soapy, dirty, fresh, sweet, smoky, aromatic, and almost medicinal/astringent at the same time, all while being very pleasant to boot. Let me dispel some thoughts: it does have a smoky tobacco feel but it does not smell like an ashtray or cigarette smoke, it's very well blended. Not animalic in the slightest. It's sweet, but not too sweet, honestly it's extremely pleasing and I don't even think this is a particularly daring or polarizing fragrance. I don't know about reformulations, but this fragrance performs great, very nice projection with a beautiful sillage (quite lovely in the air), and great longevity. Respectfully, anyone complaining about performance just needs to have realistic expectations for a $30 fragrance. I could go on about which notes stand out and try to describe how it smells but honestly, this is just so different, it's a moot point. Just try it, it's worth the money, and if you don't like it many others do, so just sell it online and you'll get most of your money back. For me, it's a 10/10.

JSP1984

What a brilliant fragrance. In the opening there are some flowery notes with a note of soap lather and ashtray tobacco .As the scent goes into the next phase , the soap and the flowers become less prominent, the tobacco and smoke become the main players . The dry down is more and more of tobacco and that too wet dirty type like if one would put some sprite in a ash tray full of cigarettes. There is also a hint of incense smoke in there .

I have a December 2021 batch and yes it's ultra potent .
Longevity of 10 plus hours on skin and good projection for atleast 6 hours .
Good to wear in cold weather or any time when you feel like it
A very unique fragrance but must try before you buy .
Not blind buy worthy .

weazal

Opens with intoxicating rose that’s the most masculine floral I’ve experienced. Soft leather, mild sandalwood, and loud oud keeps it from being too sweet. Aquatic soapiness builds. Bold and strongly projects formality.

People say cigarette smoke, but any tobacco is more pungently sweet, not dirty. It does have the vibe of a classy historic room where people used to smoke.

Dry down is warm, fruity incense with earthy moss. At the very end, sweetness brings out kettle corn. Unique and curious enough to keep trying, but not a must-own for me.

turnerscott

Smells like a stripclub at 2am. Amazing

Ironlion01

This reminds me of Lacoste 1984. It’s an aromatic scent with a clean note. Not something I would wear everyday.

Tazahr

Unique creation by Rasasi but risky to wear.

Difficult to describe. It is fresh ashy tobacco or leather with heavy dose of animalic florals. Long lasting.

Love it or hate it.

Mina Abdo

Shuhrah is a solid release from the house. It is a strong spicy green leather with very good performance and projection.
It does not smell cheap at all, especially with price tag of under 20$ at retail.

Regular_dude

Sorry for wasting space ! Haven't tried it, but I can see I have to. Funny, back in the day perfumes were loud to cut through the cigarette smoke. Apparently today they're loud just smelling like the cigarette smoke. I vote for indoor smoking again.

inFidel

I don't get this one... I get a very strong soap (no shower gel, no shaving foam, just SOAP BAR) smell with some florals in the background which take over after few minutes and the soap bar moves into the background. That's it.

It might be classy for some, especially those who like floral forward scents but definitely not for me.

I'll be selling my bottle right away.

EvangLiber

Gotta Edit this Review today April 25 from 2024. I decided to wear this for the Job and from the moment I arrived EVERYBODY kept asking about the perfume I was wearing and How it lefts a long scent trail that filled the whole space (Is a very BIG Opened office cubicles space). Everybody loved it males and females. I don't know if having it for a year already macerated it or something , I dont know but im surely impressed about today's reaction since I considered this as I've wrote before a "Night time player".
--------------------------------------------

I bought this very very cheap... like $30 or something around that. I like it... It's a "night-time" player all year around. I wouldn't wear this during daytime, unless is like a formal occassion.

In my nose this opens very very floral .... The Rose is very powerful. Honestly ive never smelled a tomato flower ever but I dont perceive an "unfamiliar" scent here. After like 20 to 30 minutes it starts to smell "woo-oudy" and with strong whiffs of fine leather like the ones on a handmade jeans belt or leather messenger bag. Is a sweet leathery finish with the Rose turned down a lil' almost unnoticeable.

I was a LONG LONG TIME struggling with my memory searching in it the perfume that I had LONG TIME AGO that it reminds me of. It was 2004 .... I was halfway College and someone gave me as a gift a perfume from L'Ebel. It was called D'ORSAY. That perfume used to smell JUST LIKE This one's drydown!! As you may know ÉSIKA is a branch from L'Ebel cosmetics too and when I looked for D'Orsay here in fragrantica it shows one but from ÉSIKA. I haven't tried that one and it says it was launched in 2009 (while the one im refering to OBVIOUSLY was launched earlier) and the bottle and cap is THE SAME.... I dont know if it still smells the same.

In conclusion.... is a good perfume. Is unique.... but is really mature too. I dont see a younger guy wearing it. Im not saying 35+ isnt a young age... is just that at this range one should kinda be settled or almost settling. The perfum is very serious and bold. Is NOT playful at all. At the end of the day .... one wears whatever the hell one wants.

khizarmughal123

Smells Mild Oud. Eternally long lasting. Rasasi Has never Disappointed me once.

Duci0167

@felindean_b Let it MACERATE! At least for a month (I know it's boring but rotate older ones) and you'll see what people are telling and what you are searching for. I say this as frequently as I can. It helps me a lot. Last was Bentley Intense. Ripped the box, spray it,damn it's pure booze, not long lasting. Now after a month I get all the notes and performances are awesome. Like totally new fragrance.

freeshead

Seriously I don't understand the notes here. But one thing i can assure you that it is loud. You like it if all other don't like it. Or may be All others like it and you don't like it. It is long lasting. Maximum 3 sprays. One on your back of the neck for sure to not get choked.

I am from India and i get rich Pan shop fragrance in this. I still dont know if i like this fragrance or not.

felindean_b

Unfortunately my bottle only smells like soap, sometimes giving off hints of rose and some cedar, but very rarely. I hoped to get the smokey leathery notes everybody was talking about.
Also, I sprayed it on my hand for testing (2 sprays) and after 3 days (not kidding), I can still feel it on my hand. In this time period I had 4 showers and also because of my job I have to wash my hands approximately 20-30 times in 12 hours, so eternal is not even close to describe the longevity of this cologne.
Also wouldn't recommend it as a blind buy, but for the price you can't really go wrong with it.

Ben-G79

Put 3 Rose Turkish Delights, some blue mouthwash and 3 Benson & Hedges cigarettes into your mouth, chew for a few seconds then spit this into someone's face! 'Shuhrah' on a budget!

Its sweet, smoky and strong, my partner says it smells like cigarette smoke at first then it's beautiful after a few hours. After a few hours it reminds me of Lynx/Axe Alaska on steroids mixed with Rose, tobacco, woods and leather but its fresh aswell! Very unique and hard to describe, I guess you either like it or not.

This juice lasts a good 10/12hrs on my skin and a few days on clothing. I bought it due to my love of powerhouse fragrances and its up their with the legends, this could be a Ted Lapidus Pour Arabia going on the strength of the stuff.

I think it's worth getting for its uniqueness, scent and power, it's totally different and in a good way. I keep coming back to this scent and enjoying it more and more. Will deffo buy again.

Aleccsei

I blind-bought 'Shuhrah' based on the many rave reviews here. Everybody was intruguided about the Tomato-leaf and what an interesting impact is has on the leather.

Unfortunately I don't get any of that. All I get is a very strong oud fragrance with a lot of amber and a hint of leather... but maybe it's just me.

fana01

Shuhrah is loud...but happy. Flowers, fruits, leather, smoky tobacco. Very interesting composition. I don't find the tomato or tomato leaf that others have noticed. The only fragrance of which Shuhrah reminds me is Richard James Seville Row which has a rich tuberose and leather accord. The loud floral and fruity notes makes Shuhrah feel feminine to me. You need to be a confident (and happy) man to wear Shuhrah.

Atremashhad

soap

GreatGreyOwl

It's almost impossible to describe this smell. It is so weird. Maybe soap + the most artificial fruit smell there is.

Scent of gentleman

Tomato? I have never imagined before that tomato can inspire a fragrance. Anyhow, it works really well in Rasasi Shuhrah Pour Homme.

I get the sourness of tomato fruit (not tomato leaf) in the opening, but, it is a really good smelling tomato I have ever smelled. A solid and unique fragrance, not generic at all.

Sample it before you commit to a full bottle. I did blind buy based on youtube reviews, but, fortunately, I like it. Performance is quite good, too. 8/10 overall score.

prince64

Shuhrah is a Muslim name of Urdu origin with multiple meanings, including fame and reputation. Anyone who doesn’t know me yet cannot know that I’m Italian, Lombard. In my dialect, the adjective “sciur” for men and “sciura” for women, which is pronounced in the same way as Shuhrah, means a wealthy person, rich, well-off, with a title of respect such as the boss or employer. Absurd. In some ways, the two adjectives have almost the same meaning in the two languages.
That said, while its pyramid and olfactory accords contain notes I recognise, its blue colour confuses me and deceives me into thinking it is just another fresh and aquatic blue. But no. Shuhrah is full of unexpected subtleties, among which a soapy floral stands out alongside leathery, smoky, musky and creamy smears. A perfume that I could describe as skanky, both rude and kind if there is such an oxymoron.

What does Shuhrah pour Homme smell like? An unexpected pristine soapiness. My long-held desire finally came true. A distinctive Arabic with soapy rose, smooth suede, and tamed oud. And smoke, a lot of smoke, like a cloud of smoke rising from a bonfire. The first thing that comes to my nose is the rose, a verdant one with sweet and leafy nuances. The rose is soapy and slightly metallic, with a veil of fruity apricot and dewy freesia surrounding it, and the whole sits on a bed made of tomato leaves. It is a creepy opening, something not familiar or present in Occidental design fragrances. And the rose, which is generous here, does not have a feminine slant or any powderiness. Instead, it is like smelling a bunch of dried roses left for many hours in an old lounge where smoking is allowed inside. The smell of roses, ashes, and wet butts is the outcome—a clean, light opening ready to burst.

The fragrance twists the heart and shows a smoky facet like an ashtray full of butts. Not present in the pyramid, I catch an overdose of smokiness from frankincense or olibanum. Not the fat and waxy church resins, but something like the smoke from a meditative burning cone. Of the two kinds of wood, dry cedar is the one I feel most, whereas the creaminess of the sandal is imperceptible on my skin but exudes from the sprayer. If I put my nose close to the wrist, I catch a pinch of creaminess. However, the omnipresent rose, which is now drier like dehydrated roses, is not alone, and a floral inflexion of white jasmine oozes from this Arabic creation.

The dry-down is where Shuhrah shines. In addition to the notes listed, I catch a precise nuance of tobacco and rose in the background. Imagine a potpourri of rose petals and tobacco leaves. Both musk and oakmoss are muted on my skin. Instead, the hints of suede and smoky oud stand out. The leather is neither raw nor black but a smooth suede. The oud is not rude, animalistic or obnoxious but supports the base notes with a veil of smokiness.

Shuhrah is not versatile; a bit too complex and cumbersome. The smokiness is prominent, however, more on the fumy incense and not like Arabi Cana ’s cigarette smoke. It lends itself well to evening and nighttime events, not safe for everyday use because of its attitude. I would avoid wearing it to work, as it is too intoxicating and might annoy other colleagues. The good news is that I get a wondrous scent. The bad news is that I don’t get such a monstrous sillage, and I’m not exaggerating. I sprayed twice on my neck, the back of my head, and twice on my wrists. And then I got outside for some commitments. Well, no one stopped me or told me how good my scent was. Perhaps, my batch has been reformulated. Never mind, I don’t find it sweet at all, i.e., it has a bit of floral sweetness but is not overwhelming.

I base my opinion and review on a bottle I have owned since November 2022 (Sep 2022 batch).

BonClay

This Is good if it's from a distance like 20 meters upclose it's weird

badnosebadtaste

I am writing a quick review to warn you all not to buy this blindly as this is definitely not for everyone. When I first smelled this it reminded me of visiting an old lady who lived in a badly aerated apartment and would chain smoke all day. That unique mix of tobacco and flowers painted this vivid image in my head. Another reviewer's mate thought it smelled of stale smoke and I agree with that reviewer's mate. This is definitely not for everyone. That being said, other reviewers love the smell and I acknowledge that.

Ironically, this smell lasted forever on me like 10 hours+. If you like this smell then I can vouch for the quality of the perfume.

In the end, my insight is limited because taste is subjective but know that this is definitely not a mass appeal smell, I personally detest it and you should be wary of blind buying this one.

Ben88

First impressions I think it’s nice but polarizing, it smells like sweet floral candy floss and cigarette smoke with a weird floor cleaner smell that only really is detectable at the beginning. It’s not a floor cleaner smell because it’s badly composed, it smells high quality, I don’t know where I get that comparison from. But a mate of mine just thought I smelt of stale smoke.
V nice bottle, Undecided about the smell but it’s nice right now as I’m smelling it

farrukh.fida

I just blindly bought this fragrance from a store and i just unbox and sprayed twice (1. On right side of my neck and then 2. Back of my neck) and drive to home. And literally i had headache as this fragrance is bomb. But i started enjoying its smoky and leathery smell at dry down.
2nd time i wore it for my office and sprayed once on my shirt before 30 min. And then i enjoyed more 2nd and 3rd phase or notes are amazing this fragrance is like an addiction the more you use the more you loved it

Stanloo78

Mine arrived some hours ago, I sprayed and got a conpliment from someone that came into the room .

My bottle is a 2021 August batch. It's a pity it last about 7hours on my skin but on my clothes over 24hours.
I think this is one of those fragrance that shouldn't be applied alone, layer it with other sweet and soft fragrance and you will get it's best.

The sillage is great
The scent is unique as many have said here but can be offensive if you put your nose too close, let air always pass btw the scent and your nose.

Mystères du Château de Dé

Shuhrah does the same work that Abercrombie & Fitch Fierce was beloved for doing. For 1/4 the price, natch. Abstract kitchen sink bombastic blend that can still seduce. Histrionic and invasive. Resistance is futile. Worship the beast.

radi85

It's a 10/10 great fragrance, amazing smell, great performance. Very unique uplifting smell-tomato mixed with sweet soap. Great projection, longevity is like Kouros. Very strong scent good for winter, but you can wear it also in summer because of the fresh tomato smell. Also great price, this will beat all your "niche" fragrances.

Sheikh Irfan

This is a very complex fragrance to explain but I’ll try my best.
Shuhrah smells flowery sweet yet skanky and smoky at the same time.
The florals give it sweetness, leather gives it the skank and oud is responsible for the smoky incense feel.
The overall combination gives it monstrous performance and it’s my first choice during the winter season.
This is either a love or hate fragrance, you will not think that “it’s just ok” and thus is not blind buy safe.
My bottle is three years old and I’ve noticed that it’s become sweeter due to the maceration.
I absolutely love Shuhrah and will be getting a backup bottle soon.

Darkstar _ Destroyer

This was a surprise to me and I love it. I was so happy with Hawas that I wanted to try more from the house. So I ended up with Shuhrah, and I'm super glad I did. Blind buy that worked out.

I had some reservations because some described it as too floral for them to wear. I like florals that are tastefully done and this meets that criteria for me. The florals mixed with the soft amber, creamy sandalwood and understated leather really comes across nicely!

Performance is outstanding on skin and damn near eternal on clothing. I may have stumbled onto it by accident, but I'll reorder it on purpose! Price versus Value is a winner. Shuhrah is solid.

This is clearly not for me. I don't find the smell terrible, but I can't pull this one off. The rose and some smoky scents is good but it stuck in my nose for so long. It is kinda versatile and performs really good. I love a great projection and a long lasting frag. This is definitely one of it but I still don't like the harsh opening. Not a blind buy worth imho.

arissvs

Pffff.....the juice is f**king awsome! I do not find it really sweet, yes it has some sweetness but not overwhelming, but the combination between rose/flowers and leather, makes it so goooood....something like a smokey rose! Such a great scent, like the luxury from Dubai...my only problem is that it doesn't perfome so much, very strong in the 1st hour, and then it becomes a skin scent, and it stays there for 8h, but the things change when you spray it on clothes, over 24h and the smell it's still there (batch march 2022)! If you are familiar with oriental scents, please try this, also worth a blind buy, just like i did and never regret it....definetly will become my signature in winter! A solid 10/10...it was love at first spray!

vbs221

This is obviously complex enough that people have a hard time describing it. But thinking about it, one strong note here is leather, and actually, the leather smells a lot like the one in Tuscan Leather.

Imagine Tuscan Leather's leather, but with a very unripe, green, yet sweet and pungent, honeydew melon. That's the closest fruit I can link it to.

This pungent sweet honeydew is accompanied by a tiny bit of rose and oud. But mostly, it's sitting on top of a lot of leather, and it's a strong black leather.

UPDATE: way way too obnoxiously loud and headache inducing. No way I can pull this off. It’s so bad I can’t even give it to someone else, because I don’t want them to annoy any other people. I will legit throw it away (luckily it’s only $17 here). The scent profile is interesting, but this fragrance/the execution isn’t. Shaghaf is definitely more wearable. But do yourself (and everyone around you) a favor and don’t buy this.

turnerscott

such an amazing unique fragrance. love it.like dusty rasberry...slightly remiescent of 1 mmillion cologne

Napasonoma

If you ever wondered what beast mode is, this is it. The bottle is awesome, heavy glass and a nice atomizer. But you need to love flowery mens cologne. For me this really doesn’t fit my style. It is good for what was trying to be accomplishes Rose/Oud but this one will go for sale for me. Warning: do not blind buy unless you are familiar with the notes breakdown and love Rose/Oud.

milesthorten

Holy Hell. I recieved the pack of shuhrah, dareej, and hawas from amazon prime. Tried this one on. 3 sprays. 2 on the chest... one on the wrist. MY GOD this is strong and loud. it smells like a medley of flowers mixed with incense (think incense from indian temple). I didn't care for it for the first 30 minutes. After a bit of time idk if i became noseblind but it seemed to settle in. THIS IS A STRONG UNIQUE SCENT. DO NOT BLIND BUY IF YOU CAN'T PULL IT OFF

gandrasta

It's like we are talking two different shuhrah here: smokey cigar and flower bomb. As of mine, batch May 2022, is the later. It opens with heavy aldehyde (tomato leaves?) just like Kouros; floral with bunch of powdery effect. Fresh, bright and clean. Slowly getting slightly woody and leathery way at the background, but the powdery floral stays quiet dominant. Drydown which is achieved 9 hrs later, is sweet musk with earthy tone from moss. I honestly can't find any oud, cigar, let alone smoke. It is definitely not dark fragrance. Shuhrah is a masterpiece. Fresh and long lasting. Filling the whole room. Something different from the trend that you can't easily forget.

redsilver

Batch Production date March 22. Made in UAE

It starts strong with some tomato leaf and freesa and some nice wet cigar very in your face. After 15minutes it settles down the tomato leaf and the smoke are very balanced. It is a polarizing perfume, IMO a masterpiece very well rounded, but strong and in your face. I can see this a mixture of Xeryus Rouge Givenchy and the talc drydown of YSL M7 in the start of the drydown. After that more cigar smoky sweet. Not a blind buy. Performance monstrous, people says this was refomulated and it was water down, I never smelt the supposed first formula, but if it was stronger than the one I have, it will be insane and unweareable. I left to work at 6h30am , 2 sprays one in the neck one in the shirt, I arrived at 7pm home and my wife at least 5 meters from me said I was smelling very good. One thing that I am very serious about my collection it is the performance.
So no performance issues at all.

Scent: 8.5 of 10
Uniqueness: 9 of 10 test before buy
Versatibility: 7 of 10 great to wear when going at night to dinner or to a bar drinking a good wine
Age: 25+
Performance:10 of 10
Compliments: 7 of 10 who loves it, loves it who hates will hate... it is a bit polarizing... for me that it is great I like bold, big perfumes, I wear for myself so it is fine what if the others like or dislike.
Value: 10 of 10 got it for arround 30usd sometimes it is found even cheaper

Overall: 8.9 of 10 Great Rasasi Shuhrah

venom876

Let me start to tell you what I get. So it stated that tomato leaves in this I get none, just to get that out the way. No it opens harsh and for the first 10 minutes its strong. I get the rose, sandalwood and another woody note which might be the cedar. Now when it settles, it is rose, a whole lot of oud, leather and amber. Just putting this out there, I never liked this fragrance at first sniff, I had to wear it a couple times before I got use to this. So I don't think it is a safe blind buy but it is cheap so you are safe. Now, longevity and projection this is way to insane for a cheap fragrance. It projects for a very long time, I mean a good 4+ hours and it stays on for 12+ hours on your skin and a week for your clothes. You smell this in the clothes basket when it is time for laundry on the weekend.
I end by telling you I wear this and received compliments, a close friend/coworker of mine said "this smells rich like the middle eastern rich prince who also is smoking cigar and it isn't a cheap cigar either". I went to a store to collect a package one evening after work. Note, I would usually apply my fragrance about 7-7:30 in the mornings. Now, at the store it is 5 pm and upon walking in the lady said and I quote "Sir you smell really good, you are always smelling good when you come here" how coworker said "yes I smell him the other day he came it" (Club de Nuit Intense Man...edt).
The lady then said "no you smell way too good, I need to know what it is you are wearing"
That is Rasasi Shrurah Pour Homme to a female nose off my skin. Go get it!

KoceFF

I have this and grow my own tomatoes. I don't smell tomato leaf in this at all.

Jerre

To me its more of an Afnan Incense than anything else in the "reminds me of" section. Its not as potent and blasting as some say here either. Its the perfect amount of projection. The smokiness is a very incense type and not a tobacco/cigarette smoke. I can see the relation to La Yuqawam but its definately its own thing. I don't pick up any rose and its definately not floral. Its a good middle east gentlemen's scent. If you like ME scents then its a good buy.

Jacomo-Sample

I highly recommend sampling before purchasing.Overpowering even for me, Mr. 10 sprays.

kunal vatyani

I bought one and because I had daarej and la yuqawam and I absolutely love them. This was too much! Too loud, too strong, too much into your nose. Plus - I was always told that why do I smell like a cigarette smoke whenever I wore this.

So I stopped using this one because personally too, I didn’t like how it smelled.

That is when my younger brother picks this one up and he finished the damn bottle! The whole of it within a year. He said that he found this perfume to be really interesting and the fact that people say that it smelt like a cigarette smoke didn’t bother him at all. To each their own!

Try it before you buy it - it’s not mass appealing and crowd pleaser and really different.

ThatMakesScents

UPDATE:

Shurah, La Yukawom Homme, Tobacco Blaze are all related....

Shurah - The fruit and tobacco but no leather
La Yuk - Fruit , tobacco , leather
Tobacco Blaze - Leather and Tobacco no fruit.

They all have very good performance.

These should be flankers !

AMajeedQT

Screeching! But it has its market.

Harsh leather with sharp green tomato leaf and slight floral sweetness. Loud, stingy, screeching. Smells like cigarettes but in a bad way. The comparisons to ashtrays are appropriate. This is like the smell of cigarette-smelling hotel rooms concentrated a 100 time!

A messy mix of notes. This is not for me at all. I think heavy smokers, of all people, would like this. While leather and tobacco are among my favorite notes, and I love smoky fragrances, Shuhrah PH is a big "no" for me. I mean, I burn incense, oud, and Omani frankincense twice a week to scent my apartment and I still can not tolerate Shuhra.

Masculine, for >50 years of age and cold weather.

"Dislike"

Chanel de Lanvin

I smell citrus, probably tomato leaf with jasmine, the rose is succinct, but all well orchestrated with oak moss and cedar.
A very pleasant perfume to wear, which has a good hold and is bold enough to recommend the purchase.
You have to make your own experience and no one has the privilege of recommending against a perfume because you don't like it.

The Jefe

Shuhrah smells phenomenal; mildly sweet, smoky and leathery without becoming cloying or heavy. Some ratings would lead you to think that this is an exclusively cold weather scent, but having worn it in high heat for the past few days I have been pleasantly surprised at how well it performs in summer. Honestly, as strange as it may sound, this reminds me of a more niche and grownup take on Eros (not that it smells like Eros at all). The leather is there right off the bat, but underscored by a slightly sweet and fruity mysterious accord. I can only imagine that this is the tomato leaf-freesia duo. The dry down is much dustier, with a slightly sour oud making itself known, along with the persistent leather note with a bit of the sweetness of the opening. No rose detected coming off my skin, however, I do detect a phantom incense note. I have a bottle from the 2021 batch, and it most definitely isn’t beast mode in sillage the way that some report. Over 12 hours of longevity, definitely beast mode in that department. All in all, this is a phenomenal fragrance; unique, modern, long lasting and affordable. Back up bottle worthy, an instant favourite.

Kingb413

Beast mode projection but very smoky/ incense vibe one of my favorites some hate it but many love it . You will hear people's opinion on this sometimes it's great sometimes people don't get the vibe but women like it more than men in my opinion when they smell it on you.

Netopalis

An earthy rose is what best comes to mind with this fragrance its very linear. The opening is more earthy and dry down leaning more rose.

Scent 6.5
Performance 8
Not blind buy safe.
Would not buy again.

hclivess

Flower bomb? Mine smells like oud mixed with tobacco. Extremely hard to wear, most people will hate it. It is strongly animalistic.

Reviews state this is a beast in power and projection; my batch isn't that strong. I put on 7 sprays and drove over an hr with my family in our car and my wife couldn't easily smell my fragrance?
I love the smell but it sits close to my body, even when sprayed on my cloths.
I will have to try other Rasasi fragrances in the future.

Blizznakov

The strongest flower bomb. The freesia is dominating. Soo powerful that it destroys every nose in 5 meters radius. Definitely unisex. It's a good scent but special in a way that you can't wear it everywhere because of how strong it is. If you wear this in a car trip or anywhere in hot enclosed space, then you are an absolute mad man.
The bottle is nice with blue juice inside.

Absolutely beast in projection, longevity and huge compliment getter. My favorite one always. But don't over spray it.. love it.. one of the fantastic perfume from the house of rasasi..

This is the beast and nuclear perfume in fresh scents.
It has soapy smell for me not the general soaps .it smell like niche soaps. soppy vibe like cosco , and also vibe like shaving cream...thrn bubble gum or like center fruit watermelon 🍉 vibe ...

Purchased from Jomashop. A OK in delivery.

WOW. This one is unique. I have owned Al Wisam Day before also by Rasasi so this sort of takes me into that realm. What I mean is it has an aquatic vibe to it but not in the Western sense. The best way to describe this is picture The Hermes "Jardin" line but use Middle Eastern spices and vegetal notes that you have never come across before. It smells very unique . Perhaps this is what men wear in the hot weather while dressed in white caftans sipping an ice cold drink. Although it is potent enough to wear during cooler months just the same.

I have never smelled any of these notes before so it would be silly to try and discern them for you.

The fragrance has a slight soapy aspect to it but for the most part it is extremely vegetal grassy in an earthy sense ....but aquatic in the Middle Eastern sense just the same.

So in conclusion ...a vegetal earthy herbaceous Middle Eastern Aquatic type vibe with soapy nuances. Fresh but heavy at the same time.

Performance seems like a winner to me....right out of the box no maceration or nose disease medicine needed to smell this one.

I paid $25 for it. Can't go wrong.

I am happy to say THANKS FRAGRANTICA ! Now give me back my balloons that you jacked from me :)

A few days later :

YES SIR I am really digging this. It has a fresh vibe but at the same time there is a heavy smokiness to it which adds a brick of masculinity to this already hairy fragrance...I REALLY DIG THIS JUICE.

cm66

I think Joy Amin said it best on his YouTube review,...This is the signature scent of Satan!

brandonR

One full spray, and that’s it. Anymore and you’ll embarrass yourself. And this is coming from a guy who’s skin eats fragrance right up. Shit lasts all day. Out of all my bottles, this is my best performer. I’d say even better than my vintage bottle of YSL Kouros…I don’t know, it’s pretty damn close. It just doesn’t go away.

Sort of reminds me of a darker, more floral version of BDC with a faint, ghost dark chocolate note. I like it a great deal. More so than I used to.

Chaisattaba

This is night party perfume. It s so strong both longevity and sillage. It s so fabulous and amazing when mix with tobacco scent from cigarettes. Not suitable for every day or office using.

pokemon.1809

I am sorry but i will be honest , smell earthy and too cheap .
Its stay all the time .

• It will be very unique/Never smelled/OMG to them who never tried/smelled/noticed Arabian oud and floral based perfumes.
• It will be just waste of time for them who gets annoyed/headache with attar/Arabian themed perfume oils. Just ignore the unique tomato leaf, Never smelt type of reviews.

---------------------------------------------------Blind buying this, will be the most Risk job, you ever going to do this year

Redzzzz

Not bad but i really think it's hard to wear....

coolio17

Very similar DNA to Rasasi Shaghaf, very synthetic/chemical smelling with many notes being difficult to detect.

Shuhrah opens up sweet and smoky and turns into a floral and rosy, musky fragrance. The opening is certainly a masculine smell, but the drydown much less so.

The longevity is very good, but overall the fragrance smells very cheap, synthetic, cloying and perhaps sickening to those who stray away from sweet fragrances and also does not smell young or modern.

PhonePotato

The opening is really nice but it quickly transforms into a primarily dry clean leather with green accents. Not bad but also not very interesting. If you’re looking for an clean office safe leather fragrance then I think this would be a great choice. Not a safe blind buy, test it, but it is only $40 online so not a big deal.

It goes on deceptively light but after a half hour it gets loud and cloying, so go easy with the sprays until you know it’s power. 4sprays gave me a headache.
Not really a compliment getter and best for older men.

btd069

Starts out with very green to me in the opening, then the florals and slight earthiness start to kick in and the green smells slowly fade into the background but are still noticeable. To my nose, I get a vetiver-like smell in the mid but not overwhelming. (could be from the oakmoss) There is a a slightly smoky/leathery vibe, but not as overwhelming to me as some others have stated.

The initial smell is VERY strong, but it starts to settle down fairly quickly. I don't really get any animalistic oud from this or really oud at all until the far dry down so that's a nod to the good blending. Woods are subtle. There is a muted fruity accord to my nose in the background. Would have liked to have the green notes stick around a little longer.

I've seen this for as cheap as sub $30 rarely but usually in that $30-45 range. I paid $40 and and happy with the scent. Doesn't really smell like anything else in my collection. If mass appealing blue fragrances are your thing or are a beginner, this may not be for you. If you are a guy who is afraid of florals, this may not be for you.
Projection and longevity are very good so far in this newer batch i have.

stilllearning

the scent profile of this perfume is really popular. rose-floral-oud but not dark. it is more bright and airy. everytime in the mall or in a park or in a restaurant, the scent is just very common here in middle east. and everytime I get a wafts of the scent of it, it quickly reminds me of shurah or tobacco blaze by rasasi, or oud maknoon by swiss arabian. there is no way in hell that this one smells like 1 million lucky, sauvage or br540.
This is the "sauvage" of middle eastern men because the scent is so damn popular.

TobaccoSense

.ROSE and FLORAL HEAVY. The rose is dusty (ashy) and potpourri like. There is a sharp accord in here (coumin?) that together with the other notes creates a unrelenting floral, synthetic mess. This scent for me is a definite pass. This scent is for those that love rose....if that's not you, try a decant before buying a bottle and please DONT BLIND BUY THIS

WasifZahed

This is basically a nuclear bomb on your perfume shelf.....Super longevity, bomb projection..... very smokey.....i think this is not blind buy worthy.... first try some sample, decant or sniff from f&f....just 1 or maximum 2 spray you are good to go....more than enough for your entire day

This is a wonderful fragrance that is slightly sweet, fruity with a leather/Oud touch as well yet still remains light and fresh. Lasts all day too.

Dr Harder

Friend of mine blind bought it yesterday and today gave it to me for free. He hated it so much that he couldnt wait to get rid of it. So I sprayed it today without reading anything online about this fragrance. I have never had anything remotely strong as this beast, 10 hours later and its still projecting, I didnt even know that fragrance can last this long. And by the way, scent itself is amazing, some strange but lovely combination of soapy, herbal, floral, oudy and ashy notes. There is also some plum or grape like smell in initial phase of the fragrance, but the drydown itself is world apart from anything curently popular on the market. You really need to try it in order to fully understand and apreciate it. Simply amazing

Umairaman

Starts off as leafy floral tobacco combo that will punch you in the face before u realise u have gone one spray too far.

Settles into a oudy ashy tobacco scent that will keep u hooked .

Drydown arrives the next day which will give off a slight leathery vibe with some smoke.

This is straight up Niche juice.

I label this one a soapy gourmand, it smells similar to how Indian seed candy taste.

I smell rich soap, cinnamon, cloves, ginger, nutmeg, honey, anise, fennel seeds, brown sugar, tobacco, citrus, smoke and leather.

I think this is a bad boy smell, it is mysterious, rich, sweet, dark, and indulgent, clean and dirty at the same time, it kind of tells 1/2 of the story but leaves you guessing what exactly that person has been up to.

I imagine an artisan person working in their brick cottage making soap, scooping honey with chunks of the comb into jars and lining them up on the mantle, drying cinnamon, nutmeg and herbs, there is a warm fireplace, they are cutting strips of leather making belts and hanging them over a hook on the wall, and there is a pile of tobacco on the table they are using to rolling cigars.

Erik Žák

This one is so unique! Reminds me sweet incense with rose touch. Great for colder days. Longevity is more than 15 hours. If you spray your clothes, it can´t dissapear as easy as you think. Sillage is awesome and for the price is super.

joeyrh9

This is a very floral scent. I am usually not keen on floral but this is a good cologne. Its floral but somehow Rasasi managed to make it very manly. The dry down is woody and even musky. I am also smelling subtle hints of tobacco. The performance on this fragrance is very good. It is long lasting 6 plus hours and has good sillage for about 3 plus hours. Certainly a keeper.

Jamir Valor

Recently bought but the performance is below par as compared to the reviews I read watched. But the juice was top-notch something unisex. I'm just disappointed with the performance 😬🤔

jsweet

I blind bought this, as one does with most Rasasis, and I am completely blown away. Pungent fruity florals settle into a surprisingly light, green, slightly ashy tobacco.

Some have commented that the presentation and juice color don't fit the fragrance. This is not correct in my opinion. This is not a dark fragrance to my nose. The light blue juice reflects the overall brightness and airiness that lifts up the heavy leather/tobacco. But this isn't the dry cleaned linens tobacco of The Dreamer by Versace that lacks texture. This is an ashy, earthy, leathery tobacco note that is significantly brightened by sweet candy florals to warrant the clear bottle and light juice.

The florals in the top notes give the fragrance a lot more sweetness that may appear from close-range arm-sniffing, which quickly smells dark and ashy as you go anosmic to the florals. Those around you will still smell the florals first, before the ashy, vegetal tobacco. The trail actually leads with sweetness. For this reason, this is a fresh but refined fragrance, although avant-garde. I will say that I have yet to test it in the heat, but I'm thinking that it won't work on most peoples' skin in high temperatures.

juristhegreat

This one is like no other. Floral but tart and vegetal. Like a fresh cut leaf in the morning.
So unique, so different, and the best thing it's affordable with super quality performance.

Sammy@au

Shuhra.
Strong, tart, sweet, musky, floral, smokey.
There's a lot happening, there's even tomatoe leaf.
It's big, bold, unique, brash, a little chaotic.
That's not a bad thing here, this one is for the night night life, bars, clubs, strippers, tequila.
Sometimes you need those nights.

blackknightdl

This is a beast and is interesting, very very long lasting

S M Mehedi Hassan

Scent is little different but likable. More suitable for middle aged men.

primus pilus

Super! An all around fragrance. Opens lightly floral (freesia). Then settles to an aromatic, slightly woody mix with rose in there. 10 hours later, close to the skin a floral warmth can still be picked up. Not a screaming beast on my skin, unlike some people, but great anytime, any season, anywhere. Love it. Man or woman, this is really nice.

Wacaz

To my nose, it is rich, luxurious tobacco while tobacco is not listed here. Being a non smoker i really loved it at first sniff. It is bossy, it is rich and it is bold. With all those traits still it has some mass appeal. Sweatness is in a great balance with smoky tobaccoish aroma.
Just 2 sprays in summers, 4 in winters and you are good to go.
Very versatile, i can wear it in all weathers less high heat days.
Great projection and longevity.
Solid deal at this price.

Napasonoma

When I first spayed this it coated the inside of my nose and I smelled it for quite awhile. This is a great scent very unique and the floral is done in a manly way, but a women could pull this off too. My wife said this is one of her favorite scents on me. The Oud is pleasant and not animalic. I’ve had some Oud that to me can be off putting. This is a moderate beast, so easy on the trigger, 4 sprays to start max left-right on lower neck and inside each elbow. It tends to be on the sweeter side but not over done. As it settles, the base is very soft leather, Oud and amber, the oakmoss tempers it down some. When you wear this you will get noticed, so be careful when picking the occasion you are wearing this, because this has a large scent bubble.

MrMarkuson

This perfume is at least 90% of Soleil de Jeddah by Stéphane Humbert Lucas 777, pretty unique scent, definitely a clean leathery/floral fragrance, I wear it in every seasons but I have a preference for spring days due to the floral note, performance are really huge for this type of scent.

Worth the buy for the unikless scent and performance (Thank you Stéphane Humbert Lucas)

My rate: 7/10 I find this fragrance pretty linear and very sticky some time you think it's not here but man it's just like super glue, some days I just think to myself why, just why I put this fragrance on me, I only use this fragrance outside.

Freq_Fragrance

This fragrance is an absolute BEAST! I don't get why people are having performance issues. But to those that are, i promise you're just going anosmic to it. I have a 2020 bottle, and it goes energizer bunny status. It goes and goes and goes! I got over 12 hours out of it, and I have a feeling that it would've kept going if I didn't shower. The sillage is astounding! It leaves a trail like nobody's business, and when you leave the room and come back, you'll still smell it strongly. I also have a very sensitive nose, so I can pick up smells that most people don't smell (it's weird) some people don't, so they may not experience this. But, if you're in the market for something with completely and utterly beast mode performance, this is a good fragrance to get your hand and nose on. Roughly $40 for a 90ml bottle is a steal for this in my humble opinion. This fragrance could easily sell for 5× more, but I am thankful to attain this fragrance for such a great deal. It almost feels unfair! If you like semi fruity, floral, smoky and overtly masculine fragrances, PICK THIS UP!! You won't regret it✌🏼

NykTri

I got my bottle of shuhrah few days back along with lattafa oud wood.
This is fantastic and every frag lover should atleast try it if not buy it. To me its sweet ripe pineapple with burnt smoky cigarette. Sounds a weird combo but its so bold, rich and bossy fragrance.
Longevity and sillage is no way closer to what people are describing but its decent. I have a 2020 batch bottle.
Love it, a must have for cooler weather.

Madyana

My experience with men’s fragrances is very limited, but my interest in them has grown as my shelf for women’s fragrances has filled, so why not?
For the first think of this fragrance, I was completely surprised by the lack of heavy cedar, so my perception of the masculine scent turned right away more to femine on my mind. Mayby unisex, but with a big, big dose of leather.
I find that leather very "Cabochard or ashtray" kind on my nose , but still very pleasing way. Apparently thanks to nice freesia, the scent stay clean and not so stale and I really like it. My daughter, who smokes, smells this scent only soapy, not leathery or ash at all. I can't find that soap here, but I think that is freesia what she find soapy and clean.
I so wish I could find that tomato note clearer, tomato is the note I’ve been looking for since they burial Les Belles De Ricci and I really miss that note in perfymes. Here I can’t find so tomato , maybe a little green hue, but though my nose is not so schooled and usually I use very sweet scent too...
All in all, I think this is a very pleasant scent for men, but I could imagine this to leather fragrance for a woman too. So why not?

rickyfeller

Just got my bottle today and 1 spray fill the whole apartment and I sprayed in the bathroom, This cologne is BEAST do not over spray it 2 spray should be more than enough

freqish

Mar 2021 batch.
This is very unique fragrance and i defiantly do not recommend blind buying it. It is strong and will defiantly be off putting for some people. Defiantly not a mass appealing fragrance.
For some reason it reminds me of the smell of the inside of my brother in laws Audi A5 which has been very heavily smoked in and has an air freshener.

Darius HIldenbrandt

Fresh sharp strong unisex perfume - with a strange combination of oud, roses, jasmin and freesia, where sweet freesia is very bright and oud, leather notes are strong too. Big projection and super longevity

taimoorirfan

This is a earthy scent with solid projection 6 hrs and still rocking, a good solid option and very good value for money, sweet, musky & oudh, this is a solid keeper

Mailo

Nuclear sillage and projection. December 2020 batch. If this a watered down version, I cannot even imagine the original one.

One spray and the whole room smells and stays like that for 24 hours at least. Very in your face. Beautiful dry down.

vigilantexx

March 2021 batch. Old vs new batch- no doubt it has been watered down. The positive aspect it is nowadays a toned down and versatile fragance that you can use at the office or in summer

Chrononomicon

The "Blue Beast" of freshies.

Smells neither like new Prada leather nor the Devil that wears it, but it is daring in a tempered way. This is the scent a neo-noir Mafioso would wear with measured charm: enter Henry Hill from Martin Scorsese's "Goodfellas (1990)".

Just like it's darker blue beast cousin, it's a composition of juxtapositions:

Herbal pungency of tomato leaf balanced by the aquatic freshness of freesia.
Rose and indolic Jasmine intermingle in the mid.
The smell of tart fruit, leather, oud, and musk form a sour ashtray accord.
It's synthetic, you hate it, you love it, it lasts for days!

Shuhrah is bad decisions with suave people - a night of decadence that refuses to end.

Shuhrah is not devilish, it's you when the hotel bartender saunters over to give you your tab with her number on it:

No reservations and ready for anything.

I just hate it. Sweet, sticky and full of chemical. Give me headache.

Kuldeep S

Very good fragrance. Sweet , fresh , pleasant . Slight resemblance to Mecca root shaving cream by body shop and opening of la nuit de l'homme . Worth buy.

Rehan@346

Very masculine leathery, smoky, ashy not for everyone it's smell like a tangy fruit with tobacco and leather at first sniff..i would recommend it for night and winter as it is bit warm and smoky..

alfrued

When you have 100’s of multi hundred dollars’ niche / limited perfumes.
And you don’t get any compliments until you wear “shuhrah” and you receive massive compliments everywhere even from “Karens”
It is insane...

Udit.l

I blind bought the fragrance and absolutely hated it. To my nose, it was cloyingly sweet and the cigarette-like tobacco note was nauseating. Honestly, I couldn't bear it, it gave me a headache. I regretted my purchase and pushed it to the back of the perfume cabinet
A few months later, I decided to give it a try. And I absolutely love the fragrance. It smells great to me now and the drydown is simply amazing. Maybe the Perfume has aged a bit or my nose has adapted, but I understand the thought behind the floral-tobbaco quality of the scent.
It is a perfect boys night out scent (can be a girl's night out scent too, if one can pull it off) and smells like a bar at 3am.
Definitely not for everyone and not for regular use

jehanzaib.kiani

Shuhrah is a musculine dark leathery kind of scent. I love its unique mysterious vibes.

jazzclrnt

Kind of like a western cologne vibe but with some unique over-the-top variations. The opening on me is melons, maybe freesia, tomato leaf, and a cigarette smoke vibe. Specifically cigarette smoke too. It has an interesting vibe in it that reminds me of when I’ve sniffed Interlude...like a deep fried sweet something (maybe like donuts, churros, or even like the breading on corndogs) plus that cigarette smoke. It has that generic cologne vibe also, of cedar and leather(?). I’ve yet to notice oakmoss or oud haha. It dries down to an almost sweet ambery vibe.

tanjim_khan

Quite strong and woody in the opening subdues to give a spicy undertone! Lasts really long (12h+) and has good projection. 1 to 2 sprays are enough and anything beyond that could be headache-inducing!

valyrianAF

smells like clinic plus shampoo. bought it for my boyfriend. I hate it. But he kind of likes it. this perfume makes me nauseous

brandonR

Underwhelmed to say the least. I was promised the stars, but instead all I got was a crowd pleasing, main line scent that is far and away from anything remotely close to being challenging or off the beaten path.

"Dark", "mysterious", "evil"....give me a break. Salvador Dali PH much?? Apparently a lot of you guys haven't even left your front yard on your fragrance journey.

I know I'm coming off brash because smell is obviously subjective, but c'mon guys, SPH is 100% a nice guy scent. Besides being strong as hell, nobody is going to be offended with this one. Anything else said otherwise is pretty much bullshit to me. Nice, yes. Heavy, yes...absolutely. An olfactory religious experience of edgy? Not hardly.

A safe blind buy

vaib_fraglover

Really don't get the hype around shuhrah. It's not nuclear in performance, atleast on me. Not a fan of tomato leaf note either. It's an average scent imo, I prefer daarej over shuhrah any day. I got it 1.5 year back so have tested in all weather conditions and given it enough time as well. Surely the first and last bottle for me.

Sunnn

Love it!
Mysterious, smoky, spicy and long lasting. Definitely different from other scents. A little bit risky if you want to blind buy it cause it's strong and really difficult to describe. to me this is an amazing scent. !

sidm

1-2 sprays is more than enough. I dont think I am able to finish my bottle in this life time.It will go to grave along with me :).

AmbuEnak

shuhrah is a great perfume
very masculine
so smooky and classy
longevity is moderate to long-lasting
i wore this for summer and is perfect for my country

schmooschmoo

I agree that this wouldn't be a good blind buy for most men. However, I tend to view frags differently than most. Passionate negative reviews for me only serve to pique my interest that much more. IOW, the more offensive, scary, and powerful, the better. Don't get me wrong. I'm otherwise a very tame guy. However, my "wild side" comes out in my taste in frags. I love this one so much, I would have to rank it in my fave top 2 or 3. I hate to put it this way, but there's a certain compelling evilness about it. Think of burning incense, potpourri, exotic woods and spices, and cigs....lots o' cigs. Very strong and long lasting. The rose in this, though not overwhelming, sweetens it and makes it that much creepier!! (BWAH HA HA!!) I agree you have to have the right attitude and style to pull this off. No baseball cap with tee and shorts. And it's better worn in fall and winter. Although if you wanted to be really unconventional, you could wear it on a summer evening.

stilllearning

1 or 2 spray is enough for you to get notice with this perfume. because this fragrance is so potent , i ended up giving it to my nephew. don't get me wrong. i love the scent because its so unique. its just the floral "freesia and tomato leaf" notes are too dominant to my nose. this one fits to a guy who always smoke and get drunk in the bar every f'ing night.

Kevinpar

I purchased this fragrance out of curiousity to see what the hype about this fragrance is all about. I do not regret it nor very happy about it. Maybe it will grow on me in time but initially it smells sweet, fruity, soapy fresh, musky like a bit of everything in one bottle. Mostly i get fresh out of laundry type of fresh smell with a touch of smoke in a good way. I do not get leather or tomato like some people do. In the heart i get medicinal minty vibe but not syntetic, almost natural.

This fragrance has a vibe of two niche fragrances which i own one and used the other. They are Kemi Aqua Regia and Soleil the jeddah by Stephane Humbert. Do not get the wrong idea. This is not a clone or 80-90 percent similar type of fragrance but when you spray it on skin, you get a similar vibe in the air and feel like this is aomehow a flanker of one those fragrances.

This is not a playful, joyful, flirty, one million type of crowd pleaser designer type fragrance. You put this fragrance on you mean business. People know even little about fragrances will get a whiff of it and they will definitely ask what it is, it is unique And smells good in the air in the right environment. You put this on and go to the beach people will think you put on a 2 dollars gas station air cleaner spray on. You put this on and go to open air night out event and have suit on etc they will think you have some niche fragrance on and they will compliment and ask you what it is, so it is all about how you carry the fragrance. This is strictly for men, not unisex. I cannot even imagine women wearing this unless professional bodybuilder or something. Even though it has flower notes, there is nothing feminen about it.

My bottle is april 2018 batch and the performance is just great. People around you will get strong whiffs of it every two minutes or so for like 3-4 hours. This thing projects like heartbeat. You do not smell anything one minute and get it the next for seconds and it goes on and on.

I recommend getting decant or try it somehow before purchasing it. At the same time, It is cheap so it won’t break the bank.

Lucky Malone

If you ever wake up in the morning and say "I quite fancy smelling like the inside of a tart's handbag today" then this could be just the very fragrance for you!
The trouble with "cheaper" fragrances is the fact there is very little chance of securing a decant to try before you buy. I blind bought this on the strength that the other two Rasasi fragrances I own are excellent....La Yaquwam is just so good, and Fattan is a perfect clone of Terre D'Hermes.
I was warned on the you tube reviews, one spritz of this beast is sufficient....well, at least they got THAT right!
'Way too flowery for me, a sweet cloying synthetic bouquet hits you in the face. I sprayed my arm two hours ago and I am waiting patiently for the woody, spicy and leather accords to come through. They are detectable but only close up, nose to skin distance. I've been sniffing every two or three minutes waiting for it to change, and I am feeling slightly nauseous. Probably one for the winter, sprayed on the chest. Under a vest. And a shirt. And a jumper. And a jacket.

Gabi Timis

It's interesting how an "influencer" can change things...
For me personally, it's hard to belive all the things i've read on those reviews. I blind-bought this fragrance, because i was curious, about all the things people said about it.
Well.. A fragrance for mens not boys etc, etc..
Let's be honest, what real mean wants to smell like piss, because that's how my nose gets the oud + leather vibe. This is just a bold fragrance. I would never sugest this "unique fragrance" as a blind buy.
Some guys says that they wear fragrance from themselves. Well, when i tried it for the first time, i didn't like it, AT ALL. If you try this, real men fragrance in public, people around you might just vanish, because it doesn't smell pleasant at all or wearable. That's my opinion. If anyone wants to smell like some floral piss with some sweetness underneath, be my guest. (at least is has good performance, but in this case i don't know if is good)

sea2sky

Not for everyone. There is some spice note that turns me off. I have a brand new full bottle, used one spray literally. If anybody in US/Canada interested - please, message me.

eric.cius

Okay wow. It's been awhile since I've fallen in love with a fragrance like this. At first I thought it was okay, then I was like I can't live without it.
It's one of those fragrances that reminds you of so many others, all coming at different wafts, at different times of is maturation on my skin yet I can't for the life of me pin down what fragrances it smells like. I think incense by Givenchy, but it's been so long. The rose, a note I usually detest, yet here so lovable.
I also see this as a year round fragrance, I mean not in 100 degree weather but I'm wearing it in late spring and it smells amazing, not cloying at all. I get about 12 hours of longevity and probably a good 6 hours of decent projection. Maybe I have the watered down version, maybe that's why I don't find it hard to wear in warm weather.
This is fragrance for men not boys, it will be appreciated by women not girls.
It's just so different without being weird and unwearable.
9/10 from me.

Update:
So I got my nose on what everyone is calling the beast version and I have to say that the "weaker" version is not necessarily a watering down but to me seems like a tweak to make it more versatile. Not enough of a difference to be a flanker. Just my guess.

Prash47

This perfume does last a long time however it's not for everyone. Musky tobacco smelling scent not suitable for hot summer days. Negative compliments garnered hence I wear it when I'm working out alone

shaedz

I got a June 2019 batch, no beast mode or longevity described here.

6859ben

I've just got this couple months ago and let me tell you it must of been reformulated because I'm not getting this 15 hour longevity and filling the room. I've got the 2019 bottle and it lasts about 8 hours projects for couple hour arms length then sits close to the skin for the rest. Shame they water them down. Apart from that though its a lovely scent.

stilllearning

I am using 2020 batch and the longevity and sillage are beast. 1 spray on my wrist and even if I am using my mask, I can still smell the scent of this perfume.

I guess this is a one beautiful beastly garden of hell scent.

EDIT: Today. May 12, 2020 I sprayed 3 times on my back of my neck just to make it a scent trail and when I arrived here in the office, my boss that just passed by in my area came back and asked me if I took a shower this morning. and I said "yes of course everyday" and I asked him back why did he asked that kind of question., and he told me that I smell like I just came from a bar with hangover and a scent of cigarette. and In ny mind...Bruh WTF!

PaulGaltier79

This is smoked PassionFruit and flowers, there are no "ash" that everyone talks, all this with a leather base. No oud. Smells like expensive perfume, Longevity 7-8 hs, good performance !!

mapache

I received Shuhrah Homme and Shuhrah Femme together in the mail today.
I sprayed each one on the top of each of my hands.

Let me tell you...they are for sure "brother and sister" scents. To my nose it became hard to tell them apart after they were on my skin for like 20 minutes.
Then I noticed the Femme version is more floral...but not by much !! These are for sure love or hate type scents. I will also say they are very "different" than anything in my large collection.
I am still "experimenting" with both of these...and still confused..lol...love? like? dislike? hate?
I find I am leaning towards the Femme version more.
Yes...it is true.....go-easy-on-the-spraying with both of these !!!! I can see both of these as cloying to a certain point.....so your "mood" my affect this.(?) (!)
BTW...both are sweet...but NOT in the "usual" sweet way...the blends are somewhat chaotic....and all over the place. They both last all day too...IMO.
Dazed and confused...but at the same time....I am happy I have them....(???!!!).

OMG !!! THIS IS SOOOOO GOOOOD !! NEVER SMELLED SOMETHING LIKE THAT BEFORE !!! ABSOLUTE DEVIL IN A BOTTLE !! IT'S SO GREAT AND UNIQUE I CAN'T DESCRIBE IT ! ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC AND ORIGINAL ! Let's get serious now:

Shuhrah is a very original and sophisticated scent. It smells very unique and it projects and lasts forever. This fragrance should be rated M for mature and sold only if you're 18+. It lasts ALL day on my DRY skin...1 spray is really all You need. NEVER go more than 2 sprays !!! You may really injure someone and i'm not kidding. It is ideal for cold days and I wonder how they wear this in the middle east since it comes from the UAE...they must be extremely tough. In terms of quality this one is absolutely an 10 out of 10, i can even say that it smells NICHE. Really, trust me brother, You never sniffed something like that, trust me. It's not a SAFE BLIND BUY ! I blind bought it by curiosity and I actually really like the complexity of this fragrance. The bottle is heavy and You immediately feel top quality when You hold it.
Chapeau bas Rasasi, chapeau bas...

Save your anger for the real culprit, it's the IFRA banning ingredients left and right. In 2019 they heavily restricted two of the most adored molecules in perfumery, Damascone (rose ketones) and Lyral, not to mention oakmoss and countless other naturals this past decade. These frag houses are not doing this intentionally, c'mon, they are being stripped of their palette, why on Earth would they do this for any reason? Quality always trumps anything else, especially in perfumery. Blame the IFRA!

Monster, Vampire, Trex, Predator, Thanos are some names that stuck my mind when I first applied this perfume. I guess that should give you a fair idea. You can also check my youtjbe channel : FRAGRANCEJAM for more details on this.

I love the smell and I use this in many of my formal attendances.
The performance is top notch and the projection is enormous. It starts with the sweet smoky rose and followed by tobacco smell (and I'm surprised that this fragrance isn't using tobacco as it's material), ended with oud and leather.
There are always some girls who asked me if I'm just smoked whenever I use this fragrance.

I love the smell but it absolutely not for everyone.
You can get the reflection of mature businessman with a badboy/rebel background (with maybe a nice beard and exclusive suit). Use it when it's night/winter.
It's sexy and mysterious.

9/10 for me

Persieprince

I have mixing feeling with this fragrance it is a great quality scent to be honest artistic and definitely not for everyone ,I smell a beautiful rose the whole life of the fragrance and it's has a tobacco ashy feel to it no doubt nothing fresh about this scent start woodsy then the rose come up I don't like the opening not pleasing to me at least, but the drydown is great and smooth greatly done ,the performance is top notch
It's for the the people who are sick of word mass appealing

kins666

This has a sweet strong opening. Projection is high. I got 2 comments on first day wearing. "Have you smoked just now?" In the air smells like cigarette. Not tobacco, but as if you have been smoking for a while. It is very smoky. I won`t say it`s bad.. It`s a good performer. As always, try before you buy.

thefatbaby614

I can only state, with all of the eloquence that I can muster, it shines in the dry down. And projection/longevity are both great. 7 hours in right now and I am getting constant, beautiful wafts up from my collar. If you need a description of the scent, read the other reviews. I’m too lazy.

sergiuniculescu

You can't find something better for this money! Only 20 USD and you have the longevity and sillage of a 200 USD niche fragrance! Love it!

cazacu.serjio

Joy Armin got me to blind buy this since many fragrances don't really last on me and man it took me by surprise. On me it is a blend of tomato leaf, rose and subtle oud. It is a smell that just grows on you the more you wear it, the performance being on par with the reviews (12+ hrs/about 4 of one arm's length projection). Wearing it outside at about -5 degrees C, it never fails to push through the cold. The presentation is flawless and of a rarely seen luxury for this pricepoint (about 29 $). I can safely say it is one of my best blind buys.

Forever Neil

This is a weird one to describe. This fragrance has a dominant tomato leaf note to it. I own Claiborne Sport, and liked something about the note of tomato leaf, but Claiborne Sport is super synthetic. This is smooth, and not synthetic. You won't go gaga over the smell, and your nose will quickly adjust to it. When I first smelled it, the word herbal came to mind, and I'm sticking with it. It's weird because the bottle and juice are so pretty that I just spray it on myself for no reason at all. I'm glad I own it, and will never trade it because it was given to me by a special friend. It's very herbal. It's never cloying, and just something to spray on, just because.

On a cold day (13 degrees under freezing) I wore Shuhrah for the second time. It's been incense and apricot for the last 3 hours and I can feel metallic rose starting to creep in.

This was very different than the first time I wore it. The first time was a very fresh rose that settled into a very green and fresh rose + my wife's Body Shop Satsuma. It lasted 12 hours and projected well (I wouldn't call it crazier than something like CDNMI but on par for sure). It ended with incense and wood and that was my favourite part (and also reminded me exactly of tag-him by armaf which people generally don't like but I love!). Anyways I felt good about my blindbuy but not to the extent that some youtubers do.

This second time, in temperatures 13 degrees under freezing with light snow outside, I don't get any "smoke" vibe as such, and so much less rose than last time. The rose has blended with the apricot and tomato leaf and 4 hours in it's really nice and unique. It's green, floral and woody. Mind you, I'm wearing a thick wool sweater in a heated office so it's been muted a bit. Projection is still decent and I have a small bubble around me. I can't pick the basenotes out (leather and amber) but the overall blend is very boss-like (not the brand). That's the vibe this gives off: Professional, macho and a bit standoffish. I don't get any warm notes so much and the tomato leaf feels more metallic then smoky/ashy on my skin. This would not be a fragrance for the club so much as for a party where people already know you.

Very interesting scent.

shahtsuki

very very sweet with dark rose and tobacco for me. even im not smoker, people will look at me as a smoker if i put this perfume on. this perfumes is not for everyone guys.

@ richmilton
Agreed 100%. What a beautiful depiction you drew. Love it!!!

My first impression... WTF this smells like the smoke room of a casino sitting on a leather chair being bombarded by cigarette smoke and people wearing way too much perfume. The waitress enters, she's a little sweaty from working all day, she has cigarette smoke in her hair and clothes, and is trying to mask it with a pleasant perfume that is being overwhelmed by the stale smoke and musky casino carpets and leather chairs with perhaps some spilled cocktails. Yep, that's my first impression.

An hour later... this is really weird, why am I start to enjoy it. I wish I only did 1 spray though instead of 3 because it's slamming my nose with constant fumes of my Vegas trips (long story).

2-3 hours in... Ok, this projection won't calm down? When will the base notes or dry down arrive. It still smells like I just sprayed it a few hours ago.

4-5 Hours later... finally it settled down, still kinda weird though. But what's even more weird that I like it for some odd reason. Not because it smells so classy, but because it's so fricken different. Gotta love its uniqueness.

In summary, this fragrance is not what I usually wear. I prefer gentlemen, masculine, office type scents. This is anything but that. Shuhrah Pour Homme is for those party nights and nothing else. After a bad week at work and you say f*uck it tonight I'm going out to have some fun and let loose like never before. Tonight I'm going to experience life in a new way and I don't give a sh*t what anybody thinks... tonight is my time.

Yep, that's when you wear Shuhrah. And believe me, everytime you smell this juice you'll be catapulted back to those nights everyone needs to have at times. I think we all need at least one of these fragrances in our rotation. Even if it's wore just once a year. This is the juice on those crazy nights you just want to be different in a crazy way.

Lastly, love it or hate it nobody can deny this is some high quality powerful juice. If you want to project like a beast of burden running wild at a crazy party, then you found your scent. It's a perfect scent for Vegas. YOU WILL GET NOTICED!

Might blind buy this based on Su872’s review alone! Thanks for I needed that laugh!

Su8072

If you want to smell like you killed a stripper thats past her prime and then smoked a pack of 20 cigarettes then this is for you!

This is the most offensive thing i have ever smelt and I'm on the fence if i like it or not, like i think i dont but then I pick up the decant bottle and smell it again from time to time.

It definetely isnt for me but there is something a bit likeable in a way about it.

A bit like sticking your tongue on a 9 volt battery. You know better but you do it anyway

Update:

I'm no longer on the fence this stuff takes a little time to get to understand, its amazing. So if you will excuse me im just going to spearmint rhino with a pack of malboro red and some bin bags.....

betterdiedthanwithoutnose

A warning pictogram shoud be printed in the box of this fragrance and it should bring inside the box a user's manual of how do not to kill ALL the olfactory receptors of your nose....and from any other living being with olfactory system in the same building (regardless the size of the building). Sounds exagerated, but for me its close to the reality and I explain why:

1: MONSTRUOUS, EXPLOSIVE, NUCLEAR, DEVASTATING PROJECTION...this is the BEST quality of this fragrance along with the uniqueness of the scent...but it can have awful results if this juice is used in a wrong way beccause....

2: There is ANY round edge here, from start to end (if you can wait until the end without washing it out from your skin) all is harshness, roughness and sharpness...no subtility here. But I agree that this have not to be bad, just is not for everyone, dont expect fresh tobacco leaves here...I agree with the previous reviews that this is a big fully ashtray....where for some reason someone dropped inside a full bottle of air freshener...but aggain...this is not necessarily bad...just not for everyone.

3: SYNTHETIC AS HELL...for me this is personally the whorst problem...I have read in some coments about "soapiness" in this fragrance...but dont expect a sexy showergel, fabric softener or luxurious soap bar here...at least in my nose, it comes to me a full deep sniff of cheap air freshener that is PAINFUL in the nose, not pleasant, dont makes me want to sniff it aggain and aggain...but one more time, its just my opinion...

I am actually confused with this one as I saw some very well renowned reviewers (who I admire and follow) that have very good opinions about this scent...this confirms me that...all here is subjective and...with this perfume you CAN'T do whatever you want. I am not going to abandone it, but maybe if used in wide opened spaces (in cold weather, of course), the results can be much much better. From now I allways have had very good results with blindbuys, even I aquired blindly several fragrances from a wide price range that were a MUST TRY BEFORE YOU BUY in all the reviews I saw and for me until now I had not had ANY bad experience which I regret...until now...for 1st time I needed to try to wash out this synthetic juice from my skin with soap and warm watter...and as I read before...yes, this juice seems to stick in your skin FOR DAYS, as I was not able at all to wash it out.

Despite of my bad 1st impression, I will not abandone it and give it more tries until I can have a more solid opinion about this juice.
