Dragée by Reminiscence is a Floral Fruity Gourmand fragrance for women. Dragée was launched in 2012. Top notes are Mandarin Orange, Cardamom and Petitgrain; middle notes are Almond Blossom, Orange Blossom and Plum; base notes are Vanila, Musk and Cedar.

During 2012 Reminiscence presented another fragrance joining the gourmand collection Les Notes Gourmandes. The fragrance is inspired by almond candies with sugar coating. This delicate composition accentuates floral essences surrounded with gourmand notes.

Top notes of Dragéee incorporate essences of Italian mandarin, Tunisian petitgrain and Guatemala cardamom. Floral notes of the heart highlight romantic and cheerful character. A blend of almond blossom and Egyptian orange blossom create a sweet and seductive floral heart surrounded with gourmand and dark notes of plum. The base encompasses musk, vanilla and cedar.

The fragrance is available in a characteristic and very romantic flacon, just like other editions of the Gourmandes collection. White color and gold details were selected for flacon of the new Dragéee. It is available as 100ml eau de parfum

Very plasticky and synthetic. There is something cosy in it but that plasticky note is not nice. I almost blind bought it, thanks god my friend has it and gave me few ml to test. No thank u

Blizzie99

Smells like candied almonds covered in orange powder. It smells really girly and light. A gourmand that’s perfect for spring and summer. I love it!

Bordo

Very nice, vanillic scent. Reminds me of Van Exstazy by Lorenzo Pazzaglia and Accident A La Vanille by Jousset (these two are different compared to each over, by Dragee has relation to both), however the two are far superior to Dragged - it is lacking in performance department.

Clws

Like all Reminiscence EdT's, it needs time to sit after you've sprayed. All perfumes do, I feel like this is one reason we have so many releases these days, no one today knows to let perfumes get air and mature. Is it all TikTok has made it out to be? Lol, no, but these edt's weren't meant to be anything other than a pleasant scent experience. They're sold much less expensively in Europe and unfortunately get way too hyped in the US. This one is a soft, powdery vanillin, with very light orange blossom, easy wear. It's not trying to be anything except pleasant, it won't replace a $200 fragrance and you have to like this type of scent.

NatGab

The opening is loud and a bit harsh, like it's "perfume-y". In 10-15 minutes, it settles down into a sweet combination of vanilla, almond blossom, and orange blossom and becomes a bit soapy and more powdery. This powder reminds me of the sensation of Turkish delight powdered candies.

The fragrance is obviously from the "Killian Love" group, reminding me of a combination of Guimauve de Nöel (which has more orange blossom) and Valentina Poudre (which has more vanilla).

The base here is not great, it sticks to the back of the throat and reminds me of the existence of Dragee for quite some time. The good thing is, not for too long, as the performance here is lacking on the skin. It definitely stays longer on clothes, but I lost it completely after 4 hours.

I mean, the bottle is cute, the idea was also cute. However, the fulfillment leaves much to be desired. It is a pity, it could be great.

AMARA21

SOFT, sweet marshmallow, slightly soapy scent. Love the scent but performance is bad. If only it lasted even up to 3 hours but the initial spray is the best you get out of it. It gets faint with time and it is already a skin scent so how soft can it get. That really sucks but good scent

V3ronica

I have this one and it smells powdery sweet, like white crystal sugar, but...but also smells like Barbies hair or Nenuco baby girls' hair, new plastic dolls. The image I got from this smell is a old plastic doll with a dress of tulle, also I feel this has too much sweetened orange blossom that causes me nausea because it is not a gourmand way, it's like I have the real flavor of putting the flower of orange blossom in my mouth, smells sweet but tastes bitter. I give it 3/10.

Zethre

Such a pretty white glass bottle!
This is a gourmand, sweet vanilla, the almonds are more sugared almonds than almond essence, so don't expect a tonne of marzipan type smell, this isn't that, it's more delicate. The orange flower is orange flower water like you get in desserts, soft and natural, not hit you in the face artificial orangey flowers.

cheleine

The comment below says it all. 100% agree.
I bought into the hype too. Guys yes it’s nice but nothing special. Can’t really describe what I’m smelling either. Just an abstract sweet & powdery almond that’s unfortunately quite faint. I layered this with Narciso Poudree for the effect I was going for and it improved a lot. Still not fully satisfied. For me it’s a scent that can’t stand alone. Trained noses, will probably find the other two in the line to be more interesting. Still not really my taste & unfortunately I find them to get ruined by some weird top/middle notes (mint, patchouli, rosemary etc) that either are not as well blended or they don’t really match the composition. Dragee is definitely the easiest, out of the three to like but I still think it’s only good as a layering scent. It can’t really stand alone, it doesn’t have that much to say to me.

Edit: I start to enjoy it more but only layered with Narciso Poudree. It’s a match made in heaven. The vibes slighly change though. The end result smells something like almondy macaroons and marshmallows dipped in powdered sugar. And the whole thing smells like what the colour “baby pink” would smell like. I feel like this combo would be how the skin of Sofia Coppola’s Marie Antoinette would smell like after one of her crazy parties with all that powder, the pastries, the sweets and champagne. It’s a vibe 🍬 🥂 ✨

shoujomarina

was REALLY excited for this and it disappointed me to say the least. I feel like TikTok reviewers just say anything at this point to gain followers. its like powdery, almond for a few seconds but I can't even really describe what im smelling. I was hoping for something like Kilian Princess but more almond-like. this isn't special, it's super faint and powdery, not sugary to me. gives grandma vibes tbh and thats not what I wanted...I can see Love dont be shy comparisons but I don't think this one compares. its ok but I shouldn't have blind bought. update: throwing it out ;(

AbbyLaRue

Gross, burnt smelling medicinal spice. Something about the medicinal note reminds me of NyQuil. This is unisex imo and nowhere near being gourmand.

Candylover666

This is such a soft and gentle fragrance.
It smells like candied almonds, vanilla and orange blossom.
I LOVE layering Dragée with Delina by PDM and it smells so lovely, soft and angelic.
The sillage is very low key, sits close to the skin but I think this is a perfect fragrance for layering and mixing with others.
It’s also a very unique scent, not something you’d smell anywhere really except maybe in almond body lotions.

gourmandgirly3

delicious fluffly sugared almonds, slightly floral but not overpowering. it reminded me of a type of candy we give out at weddings and then i realized this is exactly what it's based on! such a beautiful fragrance I'm on my 3rd bottle lol

AlaskanAngel

Dude! WHY does EVERYONE keep saying this smells "just like almond candies" a.k.a. Jordan Almonds?!?! Is it just because that's what the marketing says?!? Ugh. I'm so annoyed.

This is FRUITY, musky, powdery, woody, with some sweet almond accord. It DOES NOT smell like Jordan Almonds! It's fine, it's nice, but it's not as advertised! Jordan Almonds contain NO fruit, or musk, or powder, or wood! In fact, this has so much musk/powder/wood, it dosen't even smell gourmand on me.

Review of foolish full bottle blind-buy. DECLUTTERED.

kashmirattar

I’m surprised that it was Guimauve, not Dragée, that became a tiktok sensation. Both are beautiful, but Guimauve has that controversial anise note, while Dragée is a less challenging but equally complex juice. Dragée has that same aromatic, harmonious powdery sweet DNA, but the top note reminds me of the addictive matte sugar shells of Cadbury Easter eggs or Jordan Almonds. Brittle, sweet, barely containing a tease of the coveted treat within.

I love Dragée. It is an addictive, uncomplicated grab. Gourmand without being sticky sweet. Complex without controversy. She’s the popular girl who achieved her social status by kind and thoughtful behavior.

Sleepy_Panda

it’s delicious, delicate and airy. I keep the bottle next to my bed and like to wear it for comfort. It’s so cosy and so delicious, like some delicate creamy dessert with almond flakes. Unfortunately the longevity is not great, otherwise I would wear it all day everyday. But just a sniff or a spritz make me feel happy and relaxed. I love to catch whiffs of it on me, just wish it lasted longer.

Revontuli

I came to leave a review, but the projection is so weak, I can't really tell what I'm smelling right now.

The opening is bitter almond, the dry-down is very candy-like. I think the name is very well-fitting. However, not sure if this is the kind of sweetness I enjoy. Stays too linear.

I don't see a resemblance to LDBS, either. LDBS is much deeper, powdered sugar with floral undernotes.

I was really looking forward to a beautiful almond scent, but this one doesn't fulfil my dreams.

Nepturniqa

This is an odd fragrance, at least for me. Reminiscence's Dragée is the chalk-white fondant layer on a wedding cake without the cake. It's the hard sugar-coated shell of candied nuts without the nuts. It's more icing than frosting, more cotton wool than cotton candy, more air than fluff.

It opens with a lovely zesty freshness that hastily gives place to the soft floral notes of a shy and lightly candied orange blossom and something my olfactory bulb still hasn't identified. I can't detect any hints of creaminess or vanilla in the mix. The anonymous almond candy who joins in the dry-down comes unroasted and covered with a thick, non-descriptive and almost odorless sugar paste.

The sweetness is more like an ultra-fine layer of powdered sugar than the rich, syrupy aroma of caramelised crystal sugar. I don't find the scent particularly sweet or blatantly gourmand, maybe due to its gentle, reserved presence on my skin. I usually overspray to make it "louder" and more noticeable to others, but even then it doesn't seem to bother sensitive noses.

Dragée is a quiet, semi-translucent ghost girl in a paper-white cutwork lace dress who sits under a small tangerine tree... far away.

jbsherry

This is almond/marshmallow/orange blossom heaven. If you’re a fan of these accords, this is a no brainer.

Soft, pillowy, and delectable fragrance. I have not tried the candies that are the inspiration for this scent, but it reminds me strongly of marzipan. Cozy and comforting. The bottle is very fitting of the juice.

MatchaCat

Candied creamy almonds and dusty marshmallows. There is a musty undertone to this that kind of smells a bit masculine and is off-putting, but it's not that strong and may not bother some people. That undertone smells similar to amaretto, and now that I think about it, this perfume actually reminds me of Asturi Italian Amaretti Cookies. It smells just like that.

This is in the same family as Kilian's Love Don't Be Shy. Though not as marshmallowy and good as that one.

Comparing to the pink Gimauve bottle, this one is almost the same except for the creamy almond note and musty smell. Gimauve smells more like pink valentine heart candies. I have yet to try the green Heliotrope bottle.

Feminine.

Smell: 6 out of 10
Longevity: 7 out of 10

For reference, I'm female.

Vanian

I liked it almost immediately, at first I thought of cotton candy smell, on a second thought though, I realised that everything about this scent is hidden in its name 'dragée' which means a bite-sized form of confectionery with a hard outer shell. Yes, that's it Confetto in Italian, smal sweets, or somewhere while searching in Google, I read, it translate as love sweets. Beautiful, it is a bit on the sweeter side for my taste, but I definitely want it in my collection.

Kumquanista

Also with this one I miss a kind of ingredient or whatever that makes a perfume a perfume. And Guimauve is performing a bit better in that aspect. Although this is floral and sweet (which is not my favorite type of mix) this one is too watery and dusty musky to me. Do like the bottle though!

angelicalisseth

honestly just smells like baby powder and old almonds. so disappointed because i was so excited to try this.

Kitty9

Absolutely stunning presentation First smell of light orange blossoms Plus a lightly sweet and sour From oranges. This smells is Daughter of love don't be shy The smell is very similar, but it's slightly different.
I love this scent This smell suits women and men absolutely love it

Fleurie20

Almond candy. It's alright. Stays so close to my skin I forgot I'd sprayed it all over my body just 30 mins prior.

Lyonside

Based on my absolute love for Lira, I think I found the winning formula for my skin: citrus + something sweet to balance it. All the blind buys I made recently were based on this concept and they all were a win. Dragee is a lovely fragrance, simple, smooth, and delicate. The shades of orange (mandarin orange, petitgrain and orange blossom) are the dominant part but they remain soft and well-blended. I get the almond but I don’t get the cardamom much, maybe because of the good blend. I just wish the longevity and projection were stronger.

tessture

Bugspray petitgrain, yellow pollen floral, vaguely almond at the back. Not good on me. Nothing as advertised. Sample this thing before buying, even at these prices. It's not worth the effort to unload this if it doesn't work for you either.

Skinscents4Fusspots

I thought that this would be my favourite from the Les Notes Gourmandes collection and on first spray it was! But it started to dry down and the cedar got super strong on my skin and on the card. Mixed with the soapy florals, this doesn't smell like candied almonds to me. It smells like flowers and wood with a powdery sweetness on top. There's something about the wood in this that just leans soooo masculine to me.

FYI I suspect that I am super sensitive to certain synthetic woods, so that might be why I'm getting an overpowering cedar scent while others get almond!

Aromantra

The first 10 minutes are a bit weird and unpleasant. I think someone said it smells like "whiteboard markers" and I completely agree. There is a strange synthetic astringent note that I can't quite place - smells like plum medicinal wiper fluid :/

About 20-30 minutes after spraying you get a softer marshmallow-y tender powdery dollhead scent which is enjoyable and saves it from the awful opening. I can see the comparisons to Kilian's LDBS, but honestly this is a much lower quality fragrance. Definitely test before buying.

Tooturntt

I blind bought this scent & am so happy. It's very affordable for being a niche brand. It does in fact smell like candy coated almonds you would receive at a wedding. I find It sits close to the skin after 3-4 hrs but it's such a beautiful fragrance I don't mind.

juliausa

This is my favorite from the Les Notes Gourmandes Line .
So very smooth, warm, comforting and simply gorgeous.

Absolute LOVE.
*** If you want to add more almond scent to the mix, layer Dragée with Hypnotic Poison. I adore this combination, and wear it often.

clairesque

Dragee opens as a candied almond scent, but dries down to a very subtle, almost soapy almond. There is something distinctly maternal about it; it makes me think of a mother holding her baby after bath time.

irlfireprincess

This is gorgeous. There is something about it that reminds me of anise or licorice, maybe the plum? I wish I could smell the almond blossom more but that lightly spiced plum + anise is the main thing I get from this fragrance. It’s not a juicy plum but like a dried plum maybe? It’s a darker, sexier gourmand that would be great for a fall date night. It just does not last! I got maybe 2-3 hours on my skin. And it smelled linear to me during that time period.

Edit: I may have been wrong about the longevity of this one. As I was lying in bed watching TV I kept smelling a sugary-sweet vanilla and thought I must have gotten some Delizia di Marshmallow on my sheets from when I wore it to bed yesterday, but when I got up to get something, I still smelled it, and figured it must be the drydown of this fragrance!

Bibi16

It’s nice but dissipates within 5min !! No matter how many sprays I put on.

Vellocet

This is a gorgeous gourmand that isn’t cloying. The name is on point because they really do smell like those soft shelled candied eggs from my childhood. Delicious! It sits close to the skin and I have to reapply often though.. but very well worth the price!

annn1

All three Les Notes Gourmandes are wonderfully warm, sweet and cozy. All are more or less almond based but they are still uniquely different. I started with Heliotrope, then added Dragee and soon realized that I had to complete the trio with Guimauve, although the minty note in Guimauve made me hesitate for a while. So here is a short comparison of the Notes Gourmandes:

Heliotrope - has the strongest almond base with the intensity of bitter almond and vanilla extract used for baking or in marzipan. The green color of the bottle perfectly references swedish princess cake. Heliotrope really is like princess cake in a bottle but with a fresher, greener twist. The fig and the green notes are subtle and very well-blended but take this Note Gourmande out of the warm, sweet, cozy kitchen and into the fresh green smell of a winter garden on a cool autumn/winter day. Definitely a cold weather scent for me.

Dragee - probably my favorite, although the least gourmand of the three. Here almonds are replaced by almond blossoms, combined with orange blossoms, petigrain and cardamon for a slightly spicy, citrussy freshness. There is a vanilla base that gives it that gourmand quality, but it is the 'spicy florals' that set Dragee apart from the other two in the series. Dragee is the lightest, subtlest and least 'offensive' of the Notes Gourmandes and is a scent that works all year round.

Guimauve - fluffy, sugary, pink vanilla marshmallow, but not the cheap supermarked type. More the exclusive ones you buy in tiny, expensive bags in an artisan shop in Provence where the lovely scent of lavender, rosemary and other herbs in the store infused into the little guimauves (marshmallows). It is a very girly/feminine fragrance but in a grown-up, sophisticated way - if that makes sense. It is just a lovely lovely take on the sugary gourmand scent that hugs you with its warm cozy sweetness but keeps it interesting with the herbs, petigrain and pepper in the background. I was worried about the mint being too dominant (not a favorite of mine), but it very quickly blends nicely into the background and does not bother me at all. I'm not getting an awful lot of almond, by the way, and don't understand why 'marshmallow' is not among the notes of the fragrance pyramid, like it was for Mi Fa in Reminiscence's original Notes Gourmandes series, that Guimauve is heavily based on.

All three are very interesting, very well-blended gourmands, each one with its own herbal, spicy, fruity, citrussy twist that takes it from pure gourmand to another level ("french niche gourmand"). Sillage is moderate on all of them. When it comes to longevity, Guimauve and Dragee last a good 5 hours on me, while Heliotrope lasts all day. I really love them all and find it difficult to rank them. If you can't decide which to buy and have the resources to get all of them, go for it.

perfumologist83

a tremendous whiff with crisp and green embarkation, guided by striking floral and bright mid notes smell so uncommon here, the esoteric woodsy and ambery accords are used in a very authentic and relieving tone through the eye of that whirlpool of marvelous accords, it melts so attentively with creamy and musky in the marrow compounds that I cannot help dreaming of myself being served in a luxurious Parisian boutique, that you need to book an appointment upfront to visit, where the door is held by a concierge with a black satin fancy hat and buttoned white gloves to you, in which all you have to do, is to sit on an antique long chair upholstered with thick and smooth velvet cushions right in the middle of the showroom and that you are getting used to spoil yourself with the dresses shown by three different women to you, which you refuse to try on coquettishly by a renouncing wave of your (also gloved) hand , or by frowning your eyebrow (without any need to pronounce a single syllable) while sipping on your margarita, that the shop owner had prepared for you beforehand as a courtesy as you were welcome in.

VANILLA CLOUDS 77

All the reviews are raving about almonds, marzipan powder but, Where is the almond?
Where is the marzipan?
Where is the Dragée in this?
Not even a trace of almond…
To me I only get marshmallowy neroli, cottony vibe vanilla musk all the way to drydown.
Not what I expected, Guimauve the pink one has more almonds and therefore should have been named Dragée instead of this one. And Dragée, this one should have been named Guimauve. Because Dagée is all about neroli and marshmallow, whereas, Guimauve is all about almond, neroli and marshmallow combo.
This one is pure petit grain neroli, marshmallow heaven and cotton musk.
Prada Candy Kiss is almost identical to Dragée. Which I also have, if you have Prada Kiss you don’t need this.
Dragée is a delicate feminine delicious neroli vanilla musk perfume. Niche quality perfume though, excellent performance as is with all the Les Notes Gourmandes Line. But no way
sugared almond detected nor anything almond about it. If you really want almond go for Montale Sweet Oriental Dream, Dior Hypnotic Poison EDT.

Sheylor.Oliver

Despite the notes, this isn’t super floral on my skin. It’s more of a powdery almond candy. Super delicate and delicious.

x.rina.x

Oh, i really like it! This is my second fav pure & cozy "go to bed" scent after Zara-fields of night fall ( which is a dupe for Z&V zhis is her, but slightly more pure and a bit less sweet.) The scent is not really, but vibe is similar for me. This is cloud like, light, comforting & delicate, sweetish but pure scent. Fresh but ephemeral citrusy opening followed by powdery ( bit harsh at the beginning but it gets smoother in a while) sweet almond, with light fragile feminin floral nuances, on a beautiful silky- musky cloud and very light pure woody base. <3

Cmlake89

This perfume is comforting but that is as far as I'll go to calling it sweet. To me, this smells powdery and floral. Imagine this as the classic "skin-so-soft" by AVON with a single drop of orange oil and a single drop of vanilla. I have a bag of jordan almonds in the pantry for comparison. The softness of this fragrance does not parallel with the gentle candy and almond aroma from opening a bag of jordan almonds. This perfume is soft like a hug from grandma on a hot July in Alabama (cause if you know the south, you know Grandma believed skin-so-soft repelled mosquitos).

AkaNeri

Beautiful fragrance. On me it smells like if you mix sugar powder with almond powder, place them in a refrigerator overnight. In the morning you can smell the mix - it has some coldness to it, some airiness + sweet powdery mix. Magical fragrance.
It reminds me a little bit of Bois Dore by Van Cleef and Arpels, but that one is deeper and smokier, but that cold sweet almond I'm getting there as well. They are not dupes by any means - the color of the bottle for each one is spot on - Dragee is light, airy and fluffy, Bois Dore - is a night version + smokiness.
8.5/10

annasarahr121

Of the three perfumes in Les Notes Gourmandes collection, Dragee is definitely my favorite. I love its burst of sweet, juicy plum and even the "medicinal" cough syrup twist that some people describe. My problem is it dries down and fades away far too fast, to nothingness, within 2 hours. Also, when testing it this morning, it hit me that it's not too far off from Guerlain La Petite Robe Noire Black Perfecto (and Florale), with its cherry/almond cough syrup note instead of plum/almond cough syrup -- plus, LPRN BP has an additional earthy leather note, and rose, as well, that I love. An added bonus is LPRN BP lasts much longer on me -- 6 or 7 hours -- so I'll just stick with La Petite Robe Noire Black Perfecto instead.

ilgattopardo

Truly delightful fragrance if you happen to like almond scents, a light and airy gourmand. After opening of marzipan it settles to realistic almond dragees. Soft, fluffy, delicately powdery and sweet but not cloying.
Reminds me very much of Mandorlo di Sicilia Acqua di Parma that I adore.
Not strong in terms of projection, becomes a skin scent quite quickly.

Cocobello

If you've ever colored your hair with Artic Fox then you know what this smells like.
Pleasant, but nothing special. It's a skip for me.

Agnes81

This is the most beautiful soft, fluffy, powdery almond and orange blossom scent. It is sweet in an airy way – nothing syrupy or heavy. I think it can be worn year-round for any occasion. It has decent sillage and longevity – especially for the kind of soft, airy scent it is.
I agree with the review below that compares this to Prada Candy Kiss. They aren't dupes but they are in the same family. Candy Kiss is more sweet, powdery musk - without the marzipan/almond note. It also shares similarities with Acqua di Parma Mandorlo di Sicilia. But Mandorlo is less sweet and more unisex.

jeannebelmondo

Medicinal and licorice-like candied almond shell with a menthol-y feel and a creamy white musk. Sweet and refreshing but also somewhat reminiscent of cough medicine.

As it dries down it becomes more of a creamy orange blossom baby powder and dry powdered sugar. I like it and it would make for a lovely fall scent, it's a more interpretive take on Jordan almonds but I do enjoy this rather herbal and medicinal sweet take on them. It's as if they added a little tart and extra punch of flavor to the outer shell while leaving the almond inside to be soft and dry and creamy.

A nice gentle gourmand for those who don't want very high projection or cloying amounts of saccharine syrupy notes.

KowltheOwl

I blind bought all three in the Gourmandes collection and am including thoughts on all in case it helps anyone.

Dragée - plum, almond and flowers in a sweet, powdery musk base. Most floral of the three.
Guimauve - almond and orange blossom in a sweet, marshmallow base. Most gourmand.
Heliotrope - greenish fig, almond and almond in an almond base. ;) Most almond and least sweet.

I paid around $45 USD for each and think they are all well done and great for the price. I've enjoyed Dragée and Guimauve the most so far.

Wanted to note that these are all almond-centric w/ Heliotrope being a true almond overdose. These do not remind me of Guimauve de Nöel or LDBS either due to the almond. Certainly they are all sweet w/ some overlapping notes but almond is present in all 3 which puts a different spin on these for me.

Nicyoung

This is awful... BAD. The first spray is ok even pretty but after 5 mins you get a chemical medicinal weird thing that reminds me of being in an uncomfortable office .. actually triggering.. its not a Dr. office.. something else.. creepy.. a combo of an old grandmas house like mothballs with something medicinal. Disgusting. I have never liked a perfume less. MOTHBALLS

sistermoon

Dragée by Reminiscence has a perfect balance of citrussy tartness and powdery sweetness. And in its heart blooms the most beautiful orange blossom. I definitely smell almonds in this fragrance, and not simply almond blossom. More specifically a sweet, dusty, powdery marzipan accord. Dragée is like a slice of marzipan coated in orange blossom petals and served with orange slices. This could be a spring/summer fragrance for gourmand lovers. But you'll have to like orange blossom.

Dragée reminds me of Candy Kiss by Prada which is also heavy on orange blossom with sweet and tart notes. I own both because I can't decide which I prefer. If anything, Dragée has better staying power.

Controlledbyscent31

I blind bought this based off Milla's review below.
I agree this does indeed smell like a rolling in love + Love dont be shy mix from kilian.
Unfortunatley it is just a bit weak, I would like it to be stronger personally, daytime appropriate spring & summer gourmand only, it just not heavy nor projecting enough for autumn or winter for me personally.
I love the bottle too, looks amazing on my dresser!
Still a welcome addition to my collection and a blind buy success!
The fluffy almond note is too die for !

TatianaChoco

Soft cloud of marzipan dragee scent 🤍 fine for spring or autumn rainy weather 🌧️ Not so floral, it is more almond or vanilla powderly/creamy scent with the sweetness indeed. I love that sour sweet almond vibe at the beginning.

Le chat noir

She is the shy sister of Mukhallat and GON Lovely. Makes spring and summer days even more enjoyable.

ScentBliss555

This bottle blooms in warm weather. Wonderful symphony of notes in soft concentration.
Almond is the dominant note but the supporting citrus notes give this otherwise warm and romantic scent an unmistakable cheerful facet. It is somehow very evocative of warmed baked goods with a side of orange blossom jam. This is a delicate gourmand creation.

Chellywellie

Gorgeous! On me, this is freshly juiced oranges with sugared almonds. The orange fades reasonably quickly which is a shame, but I can’t be mad about it.
I went right off thick almond scents recently, but this is just the right amount for me. It’s icing sugar dusted almonds, or an almond sponge - not extremely sweet caramelised almonds.
Projection and longevity could be better, but somehow it suits it. I feel if they amped up any part of it then it wouldn’t work quite as well.
Recommended by a Fragrantican - thank you!

Millapetrovich

This is just perfect!
I think I’d consider this one a mix of LDBS and Rolling in love. I don’t see why it’s being compared just with LDBS.

The mix of orange blossom and almond blossom is just perfection! If you like creamy-almond fragrances, this is perfect for you.
The longevity is also great, I can get up to 7 hours.
Overall: 8/10

this was a beautiful mistake as i thought i was ordering something else.
It now stands as one of my favorites.
The dark plum and vanilla w all the other notes are perfection in a bottle
I even ordered a second bottle so i’ll feel more secure if it gets hard to find.
That’s how much I love this beauty

Mona Lygre

Oh my gosh and Holy smoke, this perfume is just so wonderful!

I bought a sample a year ago, and stored it away because it triggers my cross-allergies, and my astma, but, I'm testing it again tonight, with some bubbles in my glass and lots of strongmint chewinggum, lucky all of you who can wear this beauty :))

mapache

Dragee....smells nice. But like a watered down Acqua di Parma Mandorlio di Sicicila and/or Killian's Love Don't Be Shy..?
Goes on almost as a skin scent...sadly. Sillage/performance is ....LOW.
I LOVE their Heliotrope...and am curious about Guimauve now.

Sanrio

Dragee is another word for confetto or jordan almonds. This does not smell like jordan almonds.

It is not almondy at all. If you've ever used almond extract, eaten marzipan or jordan almonds etc etc, you know exactly how the "almond" note is supposed to work in a gourmand... This simply doesn't have it.

Imo:

Opens with a soft backdrop of sour cherry and a "simple syrup" type of sweetness. There is a gentle blossom type floral nuance as well. Soon comes something quite acidic, sour and candylike. It reminds me of the "fruit snack" packets kids got in their school lunches.

I don't like it at all but I could see how a lot of people would. Whenever I smell it I envision a young Russian girl- perhaps this reminds me of the Russian cranberry candies.

mashlyn

This is a nice perfume on it’s own, and with my particular skin chemistry the almond and vanilla notes are most prominent. It reminds me of a bakery, but not in a sickly sweet way. It’s not overly strong, and it lasts moderately well. Where it really shines is when layering.

melusina1982

Almondy perfection. Smells great and lasts a long time. It gives you a sense of happy nostalgia.

TrissMerigold

Dragee smells like almond meringues, sweet almond milk and almond butter on a warm, sugary bun. It is very sweet & cosy. Like sitting in a bed, eating sweets and being wrapped in white flannel sheets... I adore it, one of my favourite fragrances of all times.

SailorV

Out of all fragrances I have tried that draw inspiration from dragées/confetto/jordan almonds, this is the most fitting one. Even though it doesn't smell exactly like them at all stages, it has the right vibe.

Dragée starts out sweet and citric with notes of mandarin, petitgrain and orange blossom. I also get an unlisted phantom lemon. The almond and vanilla notes arrive almost at the same time and then it's really very close to the candy coated almonds you get on weddings, but infused with delicate orange blossom water. It also somehow reminds me of Easter time with the pastel decorations and candies. I don't get any plum. Suspringly this doesn't turn more gourmand as it dries down, but rather a little floral and powdery. I find the opening more enticing and beautiful, but the base is still nice. Dragée is a soft and airy perfume, so when the first blast has cooled off it's relatively close to the skin anyways. I find it much lighter than its pink sister scent Guimauve.

This gourmand isn't as warm and heavy as many others, so it can easily be worn in any season, especially in spring. Dragée would be nice for a casual workday, a cute daytime date or even a kids birthday party - it would even be fine to share with a kid, as it's so simple, inoffensive and won't overwhelm despite the sweetness. Not a mindblowing creation, but very pretty.

dsty

For me, Dragée was a bit of a disappointment, but that’s probably because I had the wrong expectations. The name suggests something explicitly gourmand, and I’ve read a review somewhere that describes it as cosy as a warm cup of almond milk before bed, which cemented the expectation created by the name in my mind - I’ve wanted to get my hands on a sample of this for ages. In the colder seasons, I love true gourmands, at home especially.

But that’s not what Dragée is, and I would have known that had I bothered to look more closely at the list of notes: it has a few gourmand leanings, but it’s the floral notes that take center stage, and the musk also goes a long way to make it smell less edible. It’s soft and powdery and it does smell like almonds, but quite subtly so, and I also get a lot of orange blossom and a rather dominant, pleasantly synthetic musk. Nice, but very far from the delicious but wearable marzipan scent I was hoping for! I have a big decant though, so I’ll have ample occasion to get over it and see if I find much occasion to wear it on its own terms.

And actually it’s fitting: those dragée candies always end up disappointing me as well!

perfume_angel

This is a creamy almond marzipan scent. Very soft and powdery too. Such a lovely fragrance, but you have to love almonds in order to like this scent.

Asyah15

It’s a settle sweet but doesn’t last very long , it reminds me of a perfum but I can’t figure out which one I’ll keep it because it was cheap tho it’s an ok scent I like the pink bottle better

Lucyana

I have blind bought this based on the reviews, but all I got is neroli... I was hopping for sugared almonds but I don't pick it up. I will sell it.

almondluver1

This is such a pretty feminine scent. It’s soooooo sweet 😍🥰💕!!! It smells like really sweet powdered candied almonds + orange blossom to me. I absolutely love this! It doesn’t project at all (probably only you can smell it) but it lasts decently and I just adore this scent 🥰

candyfragrancelover

Absolute tresure. Out of the three this smells most unique. Heliotrope smells like almond cake and Guimauve is pretty typical Marshmellow. I found Guimauve to be almost identical to D&G The One. So far i never smelled something like dragee. Dragee gives very wealthy person vibes.

mirrorghost

i get a lot of plum, orange blossom, vanilla and almond blossom-it's sweet and sugary. something in this is not sitting right with me, i think it's the plum maybe? it's just too sweet and a bit off somehow. also, this is bringing back some sort of scent memory that i can't place from childhood. yeah, i think if the plum were absent i might like this better (?) personally.

kay the perfume addict

Anyone who lives in Canada, preferably around Montreal, can send me a pm! I bought this perfume and it wasn't what I expected it to be. I barely sprayed maybe less than 10 sprays. I have the 100 ml.

Tropicat28

I blind bought this. I sprayed it, let it set in and it gave me a scent memory. It smells like a shop called East Coast Psychedelics that was in my hometown on Long Island. I’m pretty sure it was the smell of their large selection of Auric Blends incense. I mostly get Almond, Vanilla, Orange Blossom and Plum.

salthewitch

My second Reminiscence review; I was tentatively optimistic about Dragee. Initial spray that made my husband wince when he caught it. The Cardamom and Petitgrain give it a sharp, sour greenish opening and dry down hasn't improved it greatly. I think it is a strong but not yet ripe plum. In all, too much sour and bitter on me, with a sweet note desperately trying, and failing, to make it through the others. May work differently with other chemistry, or maybe you like that kind of perfume, but it's a no from this Guimauve lover. EDIT: It's dying embers revealed the vanilla, but it was too little too late, unfortunately.

ingeneuxo

-Dragee was a letdown.
-Opens smelling like Mentos candy (the mixed flavor ones)
-But that sweetness disappears very quickly, evolving into a generic clean, white musk that stays linear. (-)

LaLaPop75

This is my third favorite in the collection. I would say most simple of them all. You get a mandarin, petitgrain, almond blossom. Very beautiful, very simple. As with the others, sprays potent, dried down to skin scent. I would say this one is the most refreshing of them all. Plum is noticable at first, then fades.

MaxieF

You get the almond and the orange, like a few almonds and a slice of an orange at the bottle of a bowl that's filled with white sugar. It's pleasant. It's not as strong as the pink one. Sugar water scent. I'd say this one is a safe blind by if you like very simple almond scents. My boyfriend says it smells like vanilla. I don't get marshmallows but I do get a fluffy candy scent. There's absolutely nothing bitter or green. It's just sweet and soft.

ingeneuxo

-Dragee isnt just sweet LIKE candy.
-It literally is candy.
-It smells a tad juvenile for my liking.
-(I prefer Cloud by Ariana for intensely sweet scents)

katheryne_art

I liked this at first, but the more I try it the more I start to dislike it. It's still a beautiful scent, but there is just a little bit too much of bitter almond and very green notes. I like that it's also very sweet, but those green notes are just not my vibe...Even though I like green notes in some other perfumes.

Birdie

This is....nice, I like it but I don't love it - not yet at least. I like me some gourmand but there is something in this that is a little off, not sure what it is (the plum maybe?) but it isnt enough to put me off thats for sure.
Almond frags are a true love, not just almonds but pistachio too and with that in mind I enjoy overdosing on that nuttiness by layering this with Girl of Now. Yep, I'm blasting out the sweet, marzipan yumminess. The layering seems to cancel out that oddness in Dragee and make it last longer too.
Not sure if I would buy Dragee again, though that may change. But its cute and a steal at the price

yiola.al

This is my first "gourmand" scent as I am not really into sweet perfumes type of girl.It was a nice surprise though, very spring like sweet.Starts a bit flowery and 2 mins later the (bitter) almond note hits hard but only for 10 mins.Then it turns sweet like icing sugar and vanilla. It lasts a good 5-6 hrs on me and I am the queen of "nothing lasts" . I also got compliments from men which is a win-win. It smells very very similar to Pascal Morabito Parisian Dream that my daughter wears without the bitter almond and at a fraction of the price.

Cosmina07

Marzipan at its best with some soury sweet green notes, gourmand and beautiful, it is my favourite from Les Gourmandes collection

clemmy

Lovely scent and lovely bottle. Classy and refined gourmand with almond, petit grain, neroli and vanilla. I cannot detect the plume note. Sillage and persistence are limited, so it is delicate and perfect for lovers of gentle fragrances and sweet sleep spray among the bedsheets. The only problem I have with this fragrance is that if you are collector, you don't need both Dragee and Guimauve because they are more that sisters, it is literally difficult to discriminate between the two of them sprayed on different wrists. Guimave is a bit more powerful and long lasting, therefore my preference is for that, but having both of them doesn't make any sense, unless, probably, I am anosmic on some notes of these formulations. Let me know if someone feels like that or if it is just me!!!
Safe office scent, safe blind buy if you love gourmand and almond. 3.5/5

Margarita Birda

Almondy green mature skin scent. It is nutty, green, soapy and powdery sweet at the same time. Unfortunately it gives off a granny vibe after 5 minutes. Skin scent with no sillage. I love the bottle and all in all I like the perfume but I expected almond - vanilla which this is not.

fighter

I ADORE this!

Smells like sugared almonds, wedding sweets, baby shower treats. Just Lovely.
It reminds me the joy of being a kid during a warm Easter day.

Can't wait to try all the others from this gourmand collection.

maddy.cucu

Slightly sweet vanilla almondly orange blossom powder.
Reminds me of Love by Kilian but a much less sweet and less cloying version.
More almondy than Love too.

Love it! Easy to wear gourmound. I have a full bottle!

Have not tested protection or longevity yet.

Hepzibah Pollock

It’s a big disappointment. I only smell flowers and cardamom on me, not the sweet almond I was looking for.

giakerr

A well done almond- orange blossom that I actually like! Just the right amount of sugar that makes both notes harmonious. Conafetto has similar notes, but ends up smelling like black licorice to me, which I do not like. This, however, is very beautiful. It is very syrupy sweet in the opening and sugary orange blossom dominates. It’s just on the edge of being cloying, but doesn’t quite go there. The sweetness mellows a bit as the candied almond note becomes more prominent- sweet, crunchy with just a *hint* of cardamom for some warmth. It reminds me of Mandorlo di Sicilia Acqua di Parma without so much going on- a toned down, much more wearable version in my opinion. And the bottle is as pretty as the scent! They both make me think of pearls, lace, and a flouncy ruffled skirt.

zind

Dragee has the best opening of any scent I've ever tried. Totally subjective of course, but I love the burst of orange and flower notes with the almond. Perfection!

Almond and marzipan are my favorite scents, but in perfume it can get sickening and cloying IMO. Not with Dragee, it's such a soft and feminine scent that is easy to wear. And it is utterly beautiful!

It does indeed bring some association to my 80's childhood, slightly reminescent of my beloved scented eraser collection, but it developes into a more grown up and less sweet scent with time. Dragee is not sugary sweet and less gourmand than I expected (more flowers and bitternes from the almond than I thought). Perfect for any age and any setting.

Only downside is projection and longevity, which is quite poor.

Babesabe1

The initial spray I get sweet fresh almonds (not roasted or toasted). After that about 5 mins later I can smell sweet whole orange blossom flowers and marshmallow pillows. The scent is soft, romantic, and pretty. I get unexpected wafts 8+ hours. The dry down is powdered sugar leftover from the marshmallows and a few orange blossom petals remain on a white cottony pillow in a dim-lit room. I think this is a great fragrance to sleep in.

A nighttime ritual where a beautiful elegant woman pins up her hair slips into an ivory floor-length silk nightgown with lace trimming, and delicately sprays the back of her neck with Dragee. Her husband smiles and waits for her to join him under a cream-colored cottony down comforter.

jule9

Yum... this fragrance smells like an almond macaroon with bitter orange jelly filling... I never understood how fragrance can be fluffy, as reviewers wrote, but this one is! It is sweet, it is cool and different and inviting. It's not serious at all. This perfume will be sure to improve your mood and anyone's who hugs you.

One downside is the sillage and longevity, although it holds better on clothes.

EDIT: I'm selling this, the bottle about 75% full. PM if you're interested

Annabear

Milky almond floral syrup on vanilla ice cream. Quite delicious in a subtle, sensual way. Lasts reasonably well at around 4 hours with average projection. Suitable for most occasions and does not have that screechy sugary note. The sweetness is ethereal and seems to come from the vanilla, almond and mock orange blossom.

ViouAmara

Second review. I changed my mind, it’s very wearable in sunny springtime too! I guess it emphasizes its (slightly) fresh opening. It’s still an almond sweetie, a gourmand bonbon totally comforting and regressive, but it has an unexpected versatile effect.

LeesaLalure

Just received in the mail today. Wow. What an absolutely beautiful sweet gem this is. Couldnt be happier, I'd say my best blind buy so far. Sweet but not sickly sweet.

Celia31

Ce parfum est pour moi un parfum de conte de fée...
Doux addictif et très original.
C'est vraiment un parfum cocon.
Les agrumes rendent l'amande légère et suppriment son coté lourd.
Superbe.

ViouAmara

If you like so smell like roasted almond in sweet candy, this is for you.
Unwearable in hot summer, but funny and gourmand for Christmas or very cold weather.

bibidee

This is sweet almond candy heaven! Reminiscence picked the perfect name for this scent ~ it truly does smell like the confection it's named after. It has the creaminess of almond (like almond milk, maybe with a slight hint of extract, but not marzipan) enveloped by the sweet freshness of the candy shell. Longevity is slightly deceiving because just when I think it's completely faded away, I get treated to a whiff of this yummy smell. Sllage is moderate; a bit less than arm's length. I'm crushing on this one pretty heavily right now...I wish I could just bathe in this deliciousness all day...yum!

almondbreakfast

If this was available in your grocery store, this must be the best almond milk in town.

It contains the freshest flower extracts, grown organically. Fragrant, delicious and healthy.

I could drink this every morning for breakfast.

~~~ Oh, almond milk... gulp, gulp, gulp...
-AlmondBreakfast-
missrukia
It smells like oriental cakes, probably thanks to orange blosson and almond. Thee bottle makes me feel like I'm using a cold bottle of almond milk : it's white and fresh. It lasts all day long and at the end of the day the vanilla is predominant. It reminds me of my grandma... she would have loved this perfume !
Marissaluvsscents
I really love this but can't shake the memory of an ex that it brings up- he wore Gaultier male and Dolce & Gabbana (original) , and smoked blunts of the grape and strawberry cigarillos... smells like all of this combined. In the best way, if it weren't for the memory!
Anastasia Ag
Had never heard of this brand when I recently saw it in store. Sprayed it on me out of curiosity and half an hour later couldn't take my nose off my wrist! Sweet, delicious, very almondy and I can also detect the citrus. It reminds me of a summer version of my all time favourite hypnotic poison by Dior. However, It lasts longer on the clothes than on the skin, which is not a problem for me. I just found my scent for summer 2017!
Cherry_Darling
Good description below that this is a fluffy almond meringe. A very fun fragrance. Sweet but not overwhelming, reminds you of a really light almondy jammy dessert.
starvega
As a lover of all things almond this should be absolutely perfect for me, but unfortunately my skin just eats it up and leaves a synthetic medicinal smell behind.
Madrona
I have never seen such a small dislike bar on Fragrantica before. This is the fluffiest, most lovely almond meringue you can imagine. It is irresistible. It reminds me of the marshmallow note of Just Cavalli Gold without the hazelnut. I LOVE this stuff.
Diola
Amore a
prima annusata! Lo amo questo profumo, e il mio preferito in assoluto, l unico problema è che non persiste giusto un'ora e basta. Non è possibile. Cmq come profumazione secondo me è meravigliosa.
aistionnelle
If you like sweets, it`s a dream which came true!
Apparently not a childish dream, no pictures of a little princess or a young hero layered in their faces and bodies with chocolate:)
Not at all: it`s more serious with Dragee.A bit sophisticated sweetness. Almonds mixed with vanilla and a hint of musk are delicious, playful, almost inviting to taste them.Crunchy,fresh almonds like a candy or cake powdered with sugar.
Dragee is a bit foggy, dense and immediately after application envelopes you in a pleasant, sweet and seductive cloud.I find opening a bit milky in a good way.White flowers and fruits appear in the heart.First ones are about some elegance-the concept is similar like in Cornubia where vanilla and almonds are replaced with heliotrope.Fruits bring some freshness.Mandarin is a bit obvious but a plum is smooth, ripe,sweet,juicy,violet and yellow inside (I`m probably an incurable plum lover-all my favourite perfumes contain it;).Mixing plum with vanilla is an idea similar to Venezia by LB.A hint of spices and woodsy notes in the base prevent Dragee from cloying effect.
What seems most important the ingredients are natural, no impression of overpowering or anything synthetic.
So ...Delicious,powdery,intriguing, calming and lifting up scent.I can imagine it in a chilly midwinter morning.Or evening. It`s smart and not childish.Living proof that a good gourmand without chocolate/cacao/praline might be created.
StopHammertime
Smells like synthetic marshmallows on me! Not what I was expecting at all, but very nice!
EDIT: This is actually what I thought Mi Fa would smell like. Suprise suprise!
ChesterVa
I have a sample of this, purchased because I like gourmand fragrances and powdery perfumes, but while I did get compliments on it from others, I could not tolerate it. I have no idea why but to my nose there is something Ben-Gay medicinal about it. Like a too strong minty powder. This is powerful in an obnoxious way and even with the compliments I received I could never wear this.
angyangy
when i spray it on my skin was like going in a garden full of orange and almond trees….very gourmand i can detect very strongly almond and orange and it seems to my like an enchanting dance between two lover because the two notes are perfectly balanced together and do not dominate one on the other.i think is the best of reminiscence notes gourmand and it lasts on my skin after the shower, so it has got a strong lasting power.
i do not like so much sweet perfumes but this combination could be worn more easily.
Juma
Very beautiful, trully gourmand to me.
I love creamy, velvety fragrances and this is not a such one.
It's like baking almond/ vanilla cakes in bathroom full of musky/ oranges steam :)
Thanks for trying it, dear F. member, it's really good smelling experience.
sere
I ve waited so long to smell this in Italy, it was unfoundable!!! And now I am ready to say just a thing about it: it smells exactly the same, and I mean THE SAME!! of Acqua di Parma Mandorlo di Sicilia...Ok, it' s beautiful for the gourmand lovers like me, sweet in the sweetest way, a beautiful foggy almond like the one in Hypnotic Poison, surrounded by petitgrain, but the truth is that it s nothing more than a copy.......Acqua di Parma has alwais left on my skin a strange oily film, so, I prefer this, even if whith such a name I was expecting for something completely new and never smelled before..Reminiscence, try it again!!!
LaPetite
Dragées are one of my favorite treats , so i was expecting much from this perfume, but unfortunately I really don't get any almond note at all !
For me it's just a disapointing white floral ...
I'll give it another chance however .
5354alice
I just tried this in a store, and I have to say I don't lile it very much...I was expecting to feel much vanilla in it, but I can feel only a lot of almond.
genny17
This smells very very nice, I detect right away the almonds, they pretty much dominate the scent, it goes then to a sweet to die for base, a mix of plum, a hint of florals , my issue is that it isn't developing much, but it smells very pretty, it isn't an outstanding scent, I feel it is a bit expensive for what it is, but if I find a bottle at a good price, will definitely buy it, it smells so delicious, so much like the french dragées we used to get at certain celebrations, like weddings, baptism, communions!! Lovely! Creative idea!!
