Patchouli N' Roses by Reminiscence is a Chypre Floral fragrance for women. Patchouli N' Roses was launched in 2016. The nose behind this fragrance is Fabrice Pellegrin.

Reminiscence launches Patchouli N' Roses in the summer of 2016, a new fragrance from the hippie Patchouli line.

The new Patchouli N' Roses, developed by perfumer Fabrice Pellegrin, offers the clean, spicy scent of patchouli with oriental floral Damascus rose. The patchouli is a special quality essence called "patchouli heart," which tones down dark and earthy accents and preserves patchouli's "purest facets". Simple, elegant and intense Patchouli N' Roses is conceived of Damascus rose, rose oxide, musk and white patchouli.

The fragrance is available as a 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

Very clean, sweet and classic scent. An unusual take on patchouli. Love it in the frosty winter days, I'm curious what it would be like in summer - but I believe it could work all through the year.

Damask rose!

Musk, patchouli in haze mode, rose...

I believe @fermeana wrote exactly what i felt! when i first sprayed it i got infatuated, but after around 2 hours i can't decide that i like it or not! the damask rose conquers later and the whole blend goes later similar to million common scents that you can get over the shelf! more like an extra blend if you want to purchase as it has fair price tag!

This is one of those where I am still deciding whether I like it or not. Great scent at the beginning, but after a few hours I am not sure I like it anymore. Also, not sure whether is it for summer or winter...
Hope I start liking it because it has something special.

Very pleased with this fragrance. To me it smell like (not similar, just same feeling) an old fashion, unisex rose Aventus. The rose is dark, deep and velvety one. Delicious. Long lasting, 8-10 h with a good projection. 18 Euro for a tester at discounters! It.s a real deal!

Spicy patchouli-forward musky roses with a noticeable nuttiness that lingers. Interesting and lovely, very much in the same family as Narciso Rodriguez 'For Her' offerings.
Perfect for transitioning weather, needs the right balance of heat and cool to appreciate the notes' facets.
Got around 6 hrs on my skin.

Patchouli N'Roses is my first niche fragrance. It was actually a blind buy, because I love fresh, spicy rosy smell. I can't describe how much I FELL IN LOVE! From the first sniff! SIMPLE, CLEAN, FRESH, SLIGHTLY SPICY ROSE WITH PATCHOULI ohh...what a well blended masterpiece! I will wear it daily in spring and on summer rainy days. 😍
Worth every cent for me. Elegant & romantic

A blind buy. Well I love patchouli & like rose, but I can’t get on with this one at all. It’s a sour fruity acidic rose on me..very sour. I never thought I’d say this as I don’t like very sweet perfumes, but I feel this needs something additional to sweeten it up & smooth it out. It’s linear, quite strong & aggressive on my skin. It reminds me of Agent Provocateur & Voleur de Roses - maybe that’s why I don’t like it. It smells a lot “darker” than the pretty packaging suggests. I will try again in Winter, but for now it just makes me feel miserable - & unfortunately I’m the (not so) proud owner of 100ml of the stuff..dammit! 🤨 My second (& last) Reminiscence blind buy epic fail, I don’t think this house is for me.

This fragrance is a beautiful blending of roses and patchouli. The opening is a tangy, sweet, juicy rose in the initial spray and then the rose sits back a bit and the patchouli balances and softens it out. The musk then settles in the background. It does remind me of POAL but with a bit more sweetness as POAL never sweetens even a bit on my skin. :-( It’s got the perfect amount of sweetness but never gets cloying.

I have many-many-many perfumes and it is the only one I hate. I can not stand the smell, smells like something "rotten" to me. Bliah!!

Edit: I found that is good/easy on layering with many perfumes in my collection. At least i will use it somehow and not throw it away.

~ I love " rose " in any form , and patchouli is also a note that I have a love affair with . This is a total surprise as I was looking for a different perfume outside of my comfort zone , whether she be a new brand or not was not important . In my search I found this , I love the bottle and the notes , I was excited as it has just a few and I came here , looked at reviews and decided she was a must have , since no sample is available . I paid a decent price , got the 3.4 ounce from perfume.com . I ordered on the 6th , got it today , it shipped out on the 7th . They for sure rock deliveries coming from New Jersey . I had to soak in tub and do my usual routine and spritzed this just once on wrists to test . I had the feeling I had inhaled this scentual on someone else in my daily dealings . I felt immediately she is a clean , warm , comfort scent . I got the rose & patchouli , the musk on me an afterthought , meaning I don't think anyone else could smell , regardless I can , and I love this , it is perfect in my opinion year round . Our summer weather is in the high 90's , the 100"s too . I'll have to test that theory as weather gets cooler . I'm pleased that she is fitting right in with my wardrobe , I have nothing like her , so she'll take a front row on my perfume cabinet . Thank You so much reviewers ~ She is a win ~ win ~ ///=^} ~

Gorgeous deep velvety rose. I love patchouli and rose mixed together. It's louder than I used to wear but I enjoy getting lost in this sillage!
Although I'm a man, I'd wear this. Rose on men is very charming and elegant.
I would like it to be a bit more earthy though.

it yet is longer lasting than I ever thought and often after hours I get these delicious whinelike roses. "the roses must not be too heavy": on te contrary. they can not be heady enough. this perfume has one hell of an opening with the rose-patchouli blast right in your face. and for the people who CAN smell the artificial musc it must be even fuller. I sense this perfume as a lot stronger than I did yesterday. fabulous.

I have just bought this perfume and in its opening it is beautiful and sophisticated. I am afraid it slams dead in 5 minutes /lets say until an hour. I hadn't anticipated this but I know what is the culprit. I belong to half of the populace who can not smell this musk. (the whole Narciso Rodriguez' phenomenon wafts along me despite the gorgeous flacons. often I walked through the perfumery with blotters with his 'Musc' variants to discover I smelled nothing. not immediately and also not after 10 minutes. but in itself that is also again interesting. musks are complex bc I can smell Alberto Morillas' creations for his house 'Mizensir' all and he somehow lets them drag along with totemic flowers....the much denounced Versace 'Versace Dylan Bleu pour Femme' I can wholly appreciate despite the muscs with the synthetic names, used. this perfume smells 'perfumey'. as in the 80s.) but then it is a riddle where the 2 other powerful ingredients have been going. perhaps I am amnostic for today. yet I started with Dali: 'la Belle et l'Ocelot'. and I could even discern notes without first [prying] on the notes ! but I shall never do away with this perfume. it is probably the last perfume I have ever bought bc I have now 250++ and I am pensioning in a month. most flacons are more than two third full. I can now smell a magnificent patchouli yet ! and it sits on my skin for 10 minutes. now I smell the distinctive smell of roses, which I adore. it certaily has chicness. I guess I just love perfume. they must however omit the monikers 'sport', 'fresh', 'beach', 'clear', 'clean'. they must be depicted as 'foul', oud, civet, rose, boudoiresque, whorey, heavy, heady, intoxicating, expensive, Parisian, American, (not so much the too fine perfumes of Italy [Acqua di Parma] or England [too demure]). they must be treacherous, vitriolic, Giorgio, Poison, Coco, Obsession, Oudh Infini, Montale, Knowing, J.A.R., Dusita, Vero.Profvmo (unfortunately Vero died last december), Diana Vreeland, DS & Durga, Tubereuse Criminelle, Vitriol d'Œillet, Midnight Oudh of Juliette has a Gun, the old Creeds and Guerlains (Mahora and Nahema), v.Cleef and Arpels' Gem, First, Chanel's no. 5, Cuir de Russie, Coromandel, Coco Mademoiselle Intense, Dior's original Miss Dior etc. what I smell now arethe roses drenched in wine but I have to make the pulsemovement....

Its a pretty good dupe for J Heeley Hippie Rose although this has more musk.
I'd say this powerful scent has equal amounts of patch, rose and musk. I don't get a similarity with the N Rodriguez which are very much creamy musk centered scents. No earthy patch to be sniffed.
There is a big hit of patch in this so if you don't like patch steer clear. The name says it all.
The patch doesn't really ease up much along the time line.
It's a very nice classy, modern scent that won't you smell like a 60s hippy. The patch has been tamed. Cheaper than JH HR and tbh I'm happy with this beauty. Its a casual wear scent with reasonable longevity and sillage. HR is stronger than this.

I am buying this because my two favorite frags are NR for Her EDP and Chloe Chloe EDP, with Chloe being the best thing I have ever smelled in my life! I am willing to blind buy anything that resembles Chloe.

orpailleur

The patchouli of this frag is very soft and mild, indeed, and with the musky scent the global effect is close to the tea notes of Guerlain's Exclusifs Paris-Tokyo (vintage) or the opening of Neroli Outrenoir.
Then come the roses, discrete and very fine, too, never invading or imposing themselves.
A fine & great frag, all in nuances, for educated noses ! Congratulations for this original work of feminisation of sometimes a bit to harsh scents.

Patchouli N' Roses is for me a wonderful mix of two other scents, Chloe by Chloe (EdP) and NR For Her (EdP).
I hate Chloe, I love NR For Her...as much as I love this perfume by Reminiscence...The sillage and longevity are awesome!
