Rem Eau de Parfum Reminiscence for women

As another submitter has mentioned, don't think this will be a more potent version of the original REM Edt(which doesn't last long) , unfortunately it isn't, Reminiscence couldn't help themselves and have gone down the very tired route of making this very flowery and 'womanly', I assume to appeal to the basic market who expect women's perfume to smell feminine ie. Flowers and fruity? I barely find it resembles the original especially on dry down when I just smell a granny.

This kinda smells like a dollar store I went to a bunch as a kid and I don’t know if I’m into that or not. It’s not an unpleasant scent but there’s something about I can’t place.

There is absolutely nothing about this that smells like JHAG vanilla vibes to me.

Rem edp is without a doubt a marine perfume without a trace of ambergris or salt in its composition. If you like Vanilla Vibe JHAG but you don't like how much you have to take out of your wallet for it, call Rem with confidence. If you want a Reveal that's a little sweeter and less animalistic, as I wanted by the way, Rem it is there to satisfy your desire. It also has floral undertones, discreet but noticeable, which are maintained throughout its evolution, which is a plus. It is skilfully blended , it has great performance, so I was not wrong when I bought it blind. Yepp!

Slept-in silk sheets, cold Darnley's gin, jasmine at night and the sea at dawn... This is lovely and complex in the most soft way. If this was indeed the perfume of a mermaid, it is a mermaid of the Mediterranean, she is a daughter of Poseidon; she knows what the smell of jasmine could do to the senses, he has swam through the Cleopatra beach, dived into the Cave of Nausica, can speak Greek and knows the taste of baklava.

For a few seconds it's intoxicatingly alcoholic, but it gives way to an intense combination of muted down androgynous vanilla, sea - a sea breathing rich algae - and white flowers (I mostly get jasmine and white rose prints yet the flower notes are mixed so beautifully it is hard to pluck the flower I'm smelling).

It's durable and the sea note is one of the most beautiful ones I've smelled. The naturality evokes sensuality.

I was quite disappointed with Shalimar Souffle and what I was expecting from Shalimar Souffle was this... The perfect mix of sensual Orientalism and Mediterranean leisure.

Initially I didn't like the first sprays - it just felt strange but very quickly after and especially when settling down it's so good honestly - a very pleasant surprise. Definitely a summer scent that would do well for day as nighttime events. Feels also very unisex to me.

The beginning is very strange for me, very strong. After few minutes, it begins to be softer. It smells like a mixture of Thalasso Therapy and Shalimar, really. It is a marine perfume - salty and sandy. It smells a little bit exotic, it has oriental character. I can imagine to wear it during the long summer night.

Smells like being on vacation. Best in hot, sunny weather. Like opening your beach bag when you get home: salty, sandy, watery, trace of suntan lotion but not a white floral at all. I am not a fan of aquatics normally, but THIS I love!😎

An aquatic, sweet, powdery vanilla with a hint of florals. It has this fresh, complex sweetness of honey, much more multi-layered and interesting than the perfume pyramid suggests. This is so beautifully done and entirely unique in my collection. I can't even draw parallells to the original Rem Edt (which is a lot spicier and marine) or its flankers (Escale à St Barth kind of gives me a smiliar vibe, although more aquatic and tropical). Rem EdP is timeless, ageless and works (almost) all year round, although it seems to reach its full potential in the warm rays of the spring and summer sun. To me it is happiness in a bottle. A real gem with sillage and longevity way above average. I absolutely adore this one!

Fresh and lovely scent. I do not smell the roses at all, even if I hate roses in perfumery. The vanilla is muted and tends to become watery and disappear. I also hate strong vanilla perfumes - and this is not it. It has a very authentic fresh marine air about it ( I live by the sea - I should know). Slightly bitter opening, then vanilla and then just fresh for the remainder of at least 6 hours. It stays on clothes forever but not strongly or overwhelmingly so. I find it to be a sweeter version of Blue Water Woman by Davidoff and a warmer version of Aqva Divina by Bvlgari.
I find that this scent perfectly mimics those first spring days by the sea, when the sun is warm but the wind still a little cool. The air has begun to release more scents as the icy cold winds has moved away. It is the promise of the summer still to come.

I love it! The scent of paradise. Smell very strong at first spray, and become soft and aquatic. I smelt sweet fruity, floral and vanilla. I dunno how, but it reminds me of Beyond Paradise by Estee Lauder. (Masterpiece rainforest paradise floral) But Beyond Paradise is "women". REM is more light and unisex. Still is warm, feminine expensive smell, but I got this very reasonable price at strawberryNET.com

This perfume reminds me of the little hippie-shops in Ibiza old Town, with dresses, rattan bags and bracelets. Instant love, instant summer feelings!

When I first heard of Reminiscence issuing an EDP for Rem, I was delighted, provided that I loved the EDT. It does fix the technical issues the original has: lack of long-lasting sillage and lasting power. But this comes at a cost: it's not the Rem you're used to, but nice in its own way. I do get the Rem vibe, mixed with some rosey notes. Imagine that Rem EDT is what you smell when you're on a beach, while Rem EDP is when you're swimming underwater. All in all, check it out with a fresh mind.

Truly amazing idea, and works well for men too.
The high level impression is watery / white floral.

In the start the tonka and vanilla combo is heavy, after it dries down into a slightly woody but still balsamic note

It reminds me of a PROMOD perfume that I had around 10 years ago but got discontinued

Beautiful and niche smell in my wardrobe, sea notes, vanilla and the smell of rose, something beautiful, not synthetic and smells dear, smells like a crumpled lipstick in a purse, like algae, ocean and sea, intense and very durable, this is a wonderful treasure which I discovered this hot summer 2018 all over Europe and more! Very nice bottle, many compliments, smells a few days.Total unisex, boldly can reach for gentlemen, smells like a sea paradise, expensive holidays are always with me in one small bottle, so move when I want to warm countries and rest. Recommendable ! you must have it, hunt it and buy it! gives 10/10. My only one, I will save him very much. it's hard to get it, I am waiting for the edt version. Kisses for you.

Assolutamente buonissimo! Un marino finalmente più dolce, cremoso e vanigliato. Davvero un profumo stupendo.

just tried this new EDP and I love it!! I like the EDT but this new Rem is less acquatic it's sweeter and powdery, I can't wait to try it in very hot weather.Sillage is moderate and longevity is about 4 hours on me.
