Rem Escale à St. Barth by Reminiscence is a Floral Aquatic fragrance for women. Rem Escale à St. Barth was launched in 2017. The nose behind this fragrance is Mathieu Nardin. Top notes are Watery Notes, Bergamot and Mandarin Orange; middle notes are Sand, Ylang-Ylang and Orange Blossom; base notes are Salt, Vanilla, Sandalwood, Amber and Musk.

Fresh aromas of Italian bergamot, mandarin and iodione form an introduction to the heart of white flowers of ylang-ylang and orange blossom, which evoke monoi, and mineral notes that are reminiscent of hot sand. The base is warm and in contrast to the cool top notes, made of amber, musk, sandalwood, vanilla and salt. The composition is signed by perfumer Mathieu Nardin of Robertet.

It is available as a 100 ml Eau d'Ete.

One of the great "vacation only" scent I've smelled. It's not a masterpiece but all the pieces are there. Aquatic, festive, sand, orange blossom. Overall a great composition that is easy to understand. It reminds me Monoi Tiare oil mixed with masculine aquatic fragrances. If that's your thing try it. It's still relatively cheap to find online in the US.

this starts with water notes, orange blossom and citruses. it's very refreshing with a hint of saltiness. after a few minutes there are the ylang ylang and sand notes. i get more vanilla later, and i feel like the bergamot strengthens over time as well. dries down to a soft aquatic with warm nuances. i like this for summer, it's an aquatic that feels wearable to me.

An aquatic perfume unlike his "older brother". I feel very much the hot sand, the salt of the sea breeze, the brightness of the sun. How good this perfume is, it makes me dream of summer. But unfortunately it doesn't last much, as soon as I wear It, I don't feel it anymore

A salty and ambery monoï with a sweet/sour pleasant aquatic note, a bit mineral also.
Unpretentious but complex enough scent, to wear when you want to become this mermaid on the beach in summer.
It's like a short dream of holidays (longevity 2 hours max for me).
Mix of oyster juice, vanilla ice cream, and coconut & tiare oil slopped on the sand, quickly flooded by the sea...

Reminds me a bit of "Yves rocher - eau d'été Monoï " , but with a spritz of calone (aquatic effect molecule) and a pinch of salt. Citruses give the scent a balanced bitterness and avoid the excess of sweetness. I'm surprised i don't see some aromatics notes like thyme or seeweed, because i can almost feel them.

Moreover, the Rem signature is completely recognizable. A big like!

St Barth is a very beautiful addition to the Rem family. It is light, fresh and aquatic but floral and sweet at the same time. It has a warm, soft, summery feel to it with just a hint of the original Rem's spicy DNA in the background. Very pretty and well-blended fragrance that resembles Rem l'Acqua in the dry down. Longevity on skin is moderate but it lingers as a subtle skin scent all day. On fabric the staying power is really good for an EDT. All in all maybe the best of the Rem flankers so far.

Synthetic mineral notes with too strong vanilla and powdery notes. Not salty, not fresh at all. Dissapointing.

Very nice marine fragrance for a relaxing summer holiday. It is salty and watery with a pinch of flower and amber. Unpretentious but pleasant (and very cheap). 3/5

This was a blind buy after I discovered this perfume and got interested in it by its name, and read the other two reviews here. I didn't think that a perfume could smell like a beach, but this one does. It has a nice salty flowery smell that lingers. This is what I wanted and this perfume delivers it. Excellent product for this kind of money. One of the best and most distinct scents I have.

When Rem meets some white florals, this is what you get. The scent of the famous tiare-frangipani- ylang ylang cocktail evoking a tropical escape, with the famous background of the rem scent ( marine, salty, sweet). This should not be a limited edition, since it's unusual, sensual and worth having in one's collection. Don't be bothered that this is an Eau D'Ete ( lighter version of the original), it performs much better than the Rem EDT, while not being helped by the famous molecules present in La Vie Est Belle. Would be nice to have matching products- notably a shower gel/oil/cream. If Escada's summer fragrances were as sophisticated as Reminiscence's.

French perfumery never disappoints.
This is a pleasant summer scent which captures the essence of the beach. The most pronounced accords are floral and aquatic. Excellent composition, I just wish the sand note and the salt note were more present. The only negative to this perfume is the projection; I almost have to dig my nose into my wrist to get the smell. Otherwise, I'll catch a whiff of it every now and then.
Apart from poor projection, this is a true vacation scent, simply beautiful! It's the kind of scent that you'll make summer memories in. Too bad it's limited edition..
