Really good copy of Pure Havane! In the air you just can’t tell the difference. The bottle and the packaging are so much more superior to PH! Beautiful presentation. Absolute banger.

Samurai23

Smells like Naxos. Too much honey, just like Naxos. Not bad, but I don't like honey.

hamzahaidar

it is similar to Herod Parfums de Marly

w0rker

The scent is not that strong and prominent, it is rather soft but I find the projection and longevity great which interestingly was not the case form the get go. It needed some sprays to get there. The fragrance is not overly sweet and as I mentioned it is soft but also natural smelling. Very spicy. I consider this fragrance woody but that's due to the tobacco note which can in some cases invoke a woody note. Overal a very pleasant alternative to naxos and pure havane. I can compare this to naxos and the scent is much more masculine, missing that prominent creamy cinnamon take. In this regard what you miss here in comparison to the naxos is the deepness and strength. But longevity is great though.

I have 3 back up bottles purchased around 2 years a go. After opening one and applying a few sprays I was hit by this medicinal stinkiness, not the smell I I am used to: honey, cherry tobacco scent. The stink is so bad I that I will have to throw them out. The bottles were still in their box and sealed, stored in a cabinet where all my other fragrances are stored. Has anyone experienced the same with Wild Insurrection ? The 3 bottles have the same batch code: SHK13302
If you look at the back of the box it has a shelf life after opening of 36 months ( 36 M with an open lid). Those bottles were purchased in April 2022. If anyone has had the same experience or any feedback will be most welcomed.

kizaki_dwiky

If you wanna try tbc scent but not that strong and prominent, try this one out. The light tbc blended with sweet scent but not overly sweet. I can't explain more just try it by yourself. Good longevity and projection. One of my favorite night/cold weather fragrance. Rate? Easily 10/10 ✨

bmikolaj

Probably the best sweet tobacco fragrance in its price range. Unfortunately, I find it boring. If you are on a budget this will be perfect, other than that wouldn’t recommend it. There are much better complex sweet tobacco scents.

RonîM.Efrîn

Unexpectedly, this shit is a banger.

I bought it a while ago and absolutely HATED it, I thought I wasted money. I got mad because I thought that it sucked so much.

So I sprayed out some to fill it with air, for faster maceration, and let it sit for a LONG while. Coming back to it, I'm surprised at how good this is. A sweet scent that is manly, sweet tobacco, honey, and vanilla. I think it should be much better in the air, its sillage. It's a cold and rainy day, so it's perfect time to wear it. Doesn't smell as synthetic as I thought it would, not at all to an unused nose.

Maybe not a 10/10, but It's damn good for the price. I compared this to my Le Male Elixir and I would say that I prefer Insurrectionist II over it - Le Male is too sweet and too "childish" in a way, this one is way more mature. The quality between the two are similar.

scentallday

I've tried it and compared this against Pure Havane and Naxos. Unexpectedly, I develop a love for this.

It starts with a hint of sweet and bitter cocoa and honeyed tobacco. I started to smell spiced tobacco a few minutes later, along with smoke and dust. What a wonderful smell! I adore this a lot.

arrigo.fragrance

this currently is my biggest success when it comes to macerating a fragrance. Pretty disappointed with what i got when i first got it considering the reviews but give it 3-4 months and wow it really has come into its own and for the price you really can’t go wrong!

Shalva

Addictive sweet cherry mixed with tobacco, divine in cold weather, has to be smelt in the air otherwise it overloads your nose and becomes something else (not that it stops me from bathing in it), fills up the room in 2 sprays, lasts for who knows how long, projects for about a few hours, needs to macerate for like 4-5 of months. Very different from everything else out there. This is quite an enjoyable, high quality fragrance everyone will love, spray it under your clothes preferably though, an unbelievable bargain. Easily an 8/10 overall.

Weird thing happened after many months of it sitting with air in the bottle, it now reminds me of lost cherry but in a less lipsticky way, very beautiful

SirSmellsGood

Beautiful box and bottle.
Quality is way above price point.
Very nice honey tobacco scent.

It's a nice cheap alternative to Naxos. (In the honey tobacco sense, not saying this is a clone of naxos)

If you like sweet scents you might not like this because it is quite sweet.

keanantibudan

my brother said it smelt like fall but my parents disapproved of it; I find it very synthetic and cheap-smelling. not blind buy safe

Ointmeal

I too had a positive experience with macerating this (this post is only about this).

When I first got this it smelled synthetic, harsh, and a mess. I couldn't understand the hype.

Months later this is smoother, rounder, richer... better! The blend has settled and the profile has become recognizable.

Same way we have no-brainer freshies, to me this is the equivalent of a cooler/cold weather no-brainer tobacco scent :) I go nose blind to it tho, so I've to spread usage.

I had a guy who didn't speak the local language send his sister to ask me to write down the name of it so he could buy it, lol.

AromaticAdventurer

surprisingly my most complimented fragrance!

blind bought this after seeing the hype going around it and, being a sweet/gourmand fragrance fanatic, thought i'd give it a go. i've never had a tobacco fragrance before this one fyi so i thought this will be a great introduction to them.

and oh boy was i right!

this is, in short, a sweet, honey-ed tobacco with vanilla and cacao lingering with that tobacco scent. gourmand, sweet and smoky is the best way to describe it. very appealing, addictive, and beautiful, right from the first sniff - in short, i fell in love with it.

and apparently others did too. i received an unreal amount of compliments from this, more than any fragrance ive worn. people liked it and wanted to know what it is. it's that good.

longevity is unreal from this perfume as a skin scent. projects fairly nicely, not too loud, but leaves a very nice scent trail behind. very good performance for an edt to the point where it beats some of my edps.

the bottle imo is also very nice and unique without being tacky and the presentation was really nice too. atomizer is okay, wide spread but not a lot of juice, but what's there to complain about given the price of this thing? got it for 100 aed exactly, or the equivalent of 27 usd, and for the price, the quality is amazing, and to me, it is blind-buy worthy.

as an introduction to tobacco scents, this was a great one - so great that it made me addicted to this type of fragrances and sought to delve deeper into them. tobacco and sweetness seem to go very well, and reyane tradition proved that to me, to which im very grateful.

Neptune10598

Amazing sweet tobacco scent!
Very pleasant and easy to wear.

- Initial purchase review
Two words: Masculine & Affordable. Truly I love the box incomes in, if all my colognes came in a book casing, it’ll make organizing them easier. Decent tones, last most of the day, best after drys down, a bit synthetic and over all ok. Can I find better cologne, yes, but for 5x the cost. For the price this is a safe buy, safe wear and the girlfriend approves.

- Updated Review
It aged well (Macerating). It does not have the pulling appeal tones of a lux brand, but for the price it’s well worth it. Especially if you are trying or looking for new tones.

- Longevity Skin: 8hrs
- Longevity Fabrics: 1 Day
- Projection: 2 ft
- Projection Dry down: up to 1 ft
- Smell: Sweet Tobacco
- Girlfriend Approved: Yes
- Get compliments: Yes
- Maceration: Yes, 2-3 Months
- Maceration Changes: Noticeable positive. Less synthetic, calmer & sweeter. More chocolate on the dry down now.
- Sensitive: No noticeable changes with soaps or body wash.
- Bottle & atomizer: Nice and simple.
- Would I buy again: Yes.

Note:
Maceration process is more noticeable on cheaper brands vs quality brands. Many fragrances are already macerated in the factory and you will not notice much change the first few months after first use. This can vary on batches as well.
But remember all frags will still macerate with age, some are noticeable and some you can’t. This is inevitable. It’s like wine, it will keep aging until it’s gone.

ecade

for under $30 its a really great deal. My only gripe with this fragrance is that yeah it sorta smells like carmex. Most people i sprayed it by liked it, but one person said it reminded them of carpet in a really old house but not in a necessarily bad way. all in all its good but that carmex smell is sorta hard to get past

anapista

Please dismiss the review from cynogriffin below. It is just his personal preference review, from someone who just received the fragrance, therefore no time to macerate or really appreciate it. I own this fragrance since a year ago and I can tell you that it is a gem, extremely similar to Pure Havane by Tierry Mugler. The combination of tobacco and honey embraced by vanille and chocolate is astonishing. The scent last and last a long time on skin and even longer on clothes. It is a comforting and warm scent that people appreciate. I can see that some people get really picky, probably because this perfume is pretty cheap and therefore they do not think it should be good, fact is that it is cheap and good at the same time, whether they like it or not. 100 % blind buy if you appreciate perfumes for what they are and not for which expensive fragrance they are similar to.

cynogriffin

Really wanted to like this one, as I needed a good warm, sweet fragrance and generally love tobacco frags. Blind bought due to the price and outstanding reviews, but was shocked when I opened and smelled it (really nice packaging though and came with a fantastic sample for Tobacco & Cognac EDP, which is way more expensive, but shows what they can actually do with a good tobacco smell). Unfortunately I fall into the camp that gets the Carmex chapstick and/or cherry cough drops scent, and I just can't seem to get past it, so I might get some hate on this one as people seem to really love this stuff. SUPER harsh, big opening spice notes followed by an obviously fake honey sweetness that just kind of gives me a sickly feeling. The tobacco is there, but it isn't a smooth, warm, round tobacco; rather it is harsh, dry, and having to compete with the other in-your-face notes. Instead of a hug, it gives you a scratch across the face. Once the alcohol wears off, I can dig deep and get the vanilla and chocolate notes, but they just can't balance the others enough for me. The sillage and performance is actually pretty good, but that's not really a good thing when all I can smell is the vaporous Carmex (strong camphor smell) the whole time. I've worn it a couple times, hoping that the dry down would settle in and level the notes out, but it didn't. I have never had the opportunity to smell Pure Havane, but if it is as similar to this as people are saying, I can kind of see why it was discontinued...

As the weather is getting warmer now anyways, I'll put this on on the back burner for now and see if it macerates a bit and improves by the fall/winter, as I can see how this has the potential to be a great winter fragrance if it'll settle down a bit. If it doesn't, it may get purged from the collection unfortunately. If I wanted to smell like Vick's vapor rub, I can just go get a jar of that and save some room on my shelf for a better bottle. Definitely not blind buy worthy.

Tahsinss

Man, this fragrance surprised me a LOT. I bought it for 20 euros and honestly it smells exactly like pure havane. Exceptional tobacco fragrance. The tobacco dances with the sweet vanilla and tonka bean. The floral notes and cacao notes balance the tobacco out in such a great way. This is a must have if you’re into tobacco fragrances. The price to quality ratio is literally through the roof. Amazing amazing amazing!

ahmadkhaliile

This is pure havane.

My path to Insurrection II Wild (I2W) is an odd one - first I fell in love with Pure Havanne since I started my journey not too many years ago, and was devastated to learn it was discontinued. Had been eyeing Insurrection II Wild ever since, but it was surprisingly difficult to find, and I could get Naxos only in small decants.

Finally I got lucky and received I2W, as well as still have my decant of Naxos. Pure Havanne is long gone, but my fond memories of it, as well as Naxos in my hand, should be enough to compare.

Bottom line It's a really good fragrance, quite close in vibe with Naxos/PH, but in the Tobacco/Honey scale leans 60% former, and the Honey note is missing a crucially important quality to it.

I2W is completely missing the bright top of Naxos (Lemon/Bergamot/Lavender) and the subtle White Floral touch. It opens immediately with Tobacco, Leather, and a Sweet mix of Vanilla and Honey, with former being a bit more prominent in comparison to Honey-forward Naxos.

In contrast Naxos' sweet Honey is moist, soaky, and dripping - absolutely intoxicating, similarly to how I remember Pure Havanne. Reyanne's offering is more dry with Leather, and has a Warm Spicy feel to it. It's still Sweet but not wet-sweet, more of a dry-sweet take. After a bit of time Honey note catches up with Vanilla, but both are still overshadowed by the prominent Leater-Tobacco accords. Looking more into it, the Sweet accord in I2W somewhat resembles Cherry or Cacao and not Honey, possibly due to added Spices.

Generally the feel and vibe of I2W is similar to both Naxos and Pure Havanne, main difference being both Naxos and Pure Havanne have a strong accent on the lively juicy Honey note which I absolutely adore, and I2W unfortunately does not. Insurrection II Wild leans more towards Leather and Tobacco, leaving less space to Sweet notes and having more of a dry feel to it. As a whole package, the accords mix is a but of a linear blur.

Projection is moderate to gentle, close to Naxos - very safe and perhaps even suitable for warm weather. PH was a beast in comparison.

Very good fragrance overall, and thankfully doesn't have any of unwarranted notes you have to settle for (like some clones do), but not an exact replacement unfortunately due to missing that Soaking Honey bit. I still like it enough on its own, and for the money I think it's a warranted buy, but not a 100% replacement for Naxos or Pure Havanne.

bdgarver

This is a very good scent for a cheap fragrance but it’s just not versatile or suitable for almost anytime I would wear fragrance. Smells like a saddle shop with a touch of honey and tobacco. Pretty realistic leather scent but has a sour note like anise that projects too much and becomes cloying and annoying to wear. I do like to use this as air freshener in my man cave but can’t see an occasion I would want to smell like this. I have never been a big leather scent lover so I probably should have stayed away but reviews pulled me in and it was dirt cheap. Not for me but I respect it enough for a 7/10

Adeptus

Not very sweet or vanilla at all. Much like the review below me (TwoWheelAUS), I found this very spice and tobacco forward. Smells like photorealistic pipe tobacco or cigar. Not gourmand. Only sweet in the sense that actual tobacco has that slight medicinal sweet hint.

Gave it to a degen friend who thinks smelling like a swisher for the memes is hilarious and he couldnt be happier.

TwoWheelAUS

Not sure that the notes are right here, to my nose this is more light spiced medicinal tobacco, some florals/herbs and hint of sweetness. Based on the notes I thought it would be more gourmand like Dior Tobacolour or PDM Herod but doesn't smell like that.

It's masculine for sure. Longevity is good, lingers on skin for 5+ hours. I can't figure out when to wear this as it's not the typical tobacco/tonka/vanilla, there's a freshness to this which makes it more all weather appropriate.

Not a young guys scent, would suit someone 30+. Price is great.

MisterVillanueva

IMO smells almost identical to Pure Havanne. Not much else to say that if you’re a fan of PH BUY this now.

Thiago Mendes

This perfume reminds me a little of Mugler Pure Malt that I had and reminds me a lot of Animale Animale. An absolutely non-cloying sweet that makes me want to eat it. Gorgeous.

Baron VHH

Not a safe blind buy. I’ve never smelled Pure Havane. This is so synthetic and cloying I don’t think I can give this a second wear. Smells like a cheap mall gift shop. Also terrible longevity. Under two hours. That’s the only plus. Good example of YouTube hyping.

rolls.oud&cigar

Warning ⚠️ for people who want to test this never test it on a strip or paper, this is a skin test fragrance.

I have never smelled the Thierry mueglar so that out of the way, i noticed 2 things from this fragrance, the tobacco note is very close to the tobacco note on Tom Ford Tobacco vanille, keep in mind the TV tobacco note version is better quality but this is close, i don't know if i get cacao or honey, but i sure do get syrup scent that reminds me of the syrup scent from YSL M7 not the OG the one that came after the Oud Absolute
Keep in mind this is a single note fragrance so it might smell good to someone you know but might smell either not good or better than the other person so it's a hit or miss, one of the reasons you only test this on skin and not on strip or shirt (and for the love of God do what you want but fragrances are meant for the skin)

To me personally this is a mixture between TMTV and YSL M7 the the new version, so if you like those two for the price this is good

I got this because A*men is one of my all time favorite and wild 2 didn't satisfy me as a flanker if i knew how it would smell to A*men i wouldn't have bought it, But it doesn't mean i regret this blind buy specially for the price, probably it needs maturing or it will grow on me

indakay

Smoothest vanilla honey fragrance (I like it way better than my JPG Le Male Elixer). The opening is a bit harsh as most fragrances are, but the dry down is absolutely amazing. Smooth vanilla and honey with some dry cocoa powerder and small amount of florals in the background, I dont notice any tobbacco on skin but I havent smelled it in depth on clothes yet. Sillage and Projection is average and so is longevity. For the price this amazing. 9/10 easy.

oculism

The Tobacco note isn't really all that noticeable, nevertheless it's a decent fragrance and i'd recommend it just based on the price alone. it starts out a bit harsh but over time becomes really nice and sweet.

Bregondo

A masculine fragrance. Dry tobacco and smooth vanilla with some dry cacao powder. I was expecting this to be more gourmand and edible but no, this is more of a tobacco fragrance. Imagine you have a small cup of vanilla flavored ice cream with tiny chocolate Hershey's kisses as toppings and there's a really fat cuban cigar larger than your ice cream dipped in it — this is what I picture when I smell this perfume in the air. Good performance, projects for 1-2 hours, 4-5 feet radius. Easily lasts 8+ hours on me. Great for date nights, casual wearing, cozy weather and cuddle time. Strictly worn during nighttime only, and when it's cold. Reminds me of another cheapie called Loyal Agar by Luxodor.

jim.2

This was a great blind buy. As soon as I put it on it immediately reminded me of Burberry London (which I reach for a lot every December). I did a little test with Insurrection II Wild on one arm and London on the other. There's more of a difference than I anticipated. This stuff is quite a bit darker than London. Something in London gives it a little bit brightness ...perhaps the cinnamon. I don't think of London as a bright frag but compared to this, it's brighter. Insurrection II Wild is also a tad sweeter. Anyway, all that said, this is a really pleasant frag for a very low price. For $20, just grab it.

acc503

Super awesome blind buy given as a gift, never tried naxos or pure havane but i thought this might be similar to jpg elixir due to the notes but it’s not. this is much lighter and smells very elegant, good for everyday use in the office maybe on an intimate date. chocolaty honey vanilla with some florals in the background decent performance so super good but if u can pick it up. also if you go light on the sprays you can definitely pull this off during the spring.

A 10/10 MASTERPIECE🔥
Due to my eternal love to Pure Havane, and because of its discontinuation - (thank God i still have a full bottle 🙌🏻) - i had to had this juice!
And YES!!
This baby came to stay for life in my collection!
A beautiful mix between PH & Xerjoff Naxos!
What more i can say about this stuff that hasn't been said...
Believe me, everytime i wear this, i get compliments N O N S T O P!!🤯
This dna is unique, is alluring, is seductive, this is everything that I want from a fragrance especially these days that the most people out there wears only sweet, juvenile fragrances & that Creed Aventus dna or similar style.. 🤮
If u want to smell diferent, just get it..
I can't speak highly enough for this baby & that kind of dna.. I'm in love!!

Siprian85

Very pleasant fragrances Is similar to Pure Havane, but not really a clone. It's a bit more masculine with a stronger tobacco note and a fainter vanilla & cherry
Excellent performance and price.
Overall rating: 9/10

Phlip903

I've never smelled Pure Havane, but this juice here is outstanding! The opening is pretty sharp with cinnamon and what smells like bergamot. The warm spices start to take over soon after the initial spray. The tobacco isn't photo-realistic. This is more of a pipe tobacco with a side of honey. Very Christmas-y, so in season currently. In the drydown, the pipe tobacco stays through the life of the scent. The vanilla and tonka beans with that pipe tobacco is one hell of a trio. This is a very sweet fragrance, at least to my nose.

This strikes me as a tobacco fragrance for the younger audience due to it's sweetness. However, I'm in my mid 30s and enjoy this juice just fine. I stick to wearing this in the fall, winter, and early spring. Not sure how this will do dressed up, but business casual to casual is fair game.

Now, this fragrance is fairly strong off my skin. The projection is crazy for the first 2 to 2.5 hours. Silage is a good arms length or a bit further. Longevity is great. Still very present after a 9 hour work day. This was 5 sprays (back and front of neck, chest, and both arms). This bottle was purchased about a year and a half ago.

Projection: 10 out of 10
Silage: 8 out of 10
Longevity: 10 out of 10
Scent: 9 out of 10
Price: 10 out of 10
Overall: 9.5 out of 10

SamiMugler

When I first sprayed it, I remembered star men nebula.. same structure. Booziness 🍺
Vanilla and cacao are detectable

nic.lo

overall liking the fragrance. Sharp opening with even a hint of freshness, honey seems synthetic to me in the opening. Dry down is very likeable and not overly sweet. Sillage and longevity are more than satisfying.
For its price definitely worth a try.

dopasmell

Do enjoy this scent a lot, but the cocoa smell is a bit strong for me personally. Not sure why people think it's close to naxos, I'd say it's like 60% similar. Naxos has a lot more citrus, clean freshness (lavender + lemon), and a much smoother airy scent. Insurrection probably shares like 75% in the notes department but that last 25% changes it a lot, and the implementation of those notes are quite different IMO.

ski.mask

Bought a decant of Naxos and for a second, I thought they scammed me and sent me wild 2.

People are saying that this, havane (haven't tried), and naxos are all 3 similar but distinctly different fragrances and I would agree to that for the most part, but wild 2 is extremely close to the naxos opening and not too far off of the dry down. It's not marketed as a clone but does a good job.

It lasts fairly long, above average for sure, and has moderate projection. It's not as much of a beast as other fragrances but performs very well, which is something I look for in colognes. No problems here. I really like the scent; it's christmas-y and good for winter, day or night but maybe lean towards night.

OwlFactory

I have never smelled Pure Havane, but I do own Xerjoff Naxos.... and what I can tell you about Insurrection Wild is that after about 3-4 minutes, it does smell 85-90% like Naxos. After 15+ minutes, you really do get a Naxos vibe. There is a noticeable cherry essence within the first 1-5 seconds of spraying it that's nothing like Naxos, but it quickly settles in on the skin and morphs into a more recognizable Naxos very quickly. That cherry note disappears immediately.

I'd like to add there's a tiny "bite" to it that's reminiscent of TF's Tobacco Vanille.

I bought this as a blind buy and thought "I doubt this actually smells like Naxos" but that is all I can think about while I'm wearing it... so for the price, it's satisfactorily impressive. Would definitely buy again.

The funny thing is, I met up with a buddy about 30 minutes after I bought this bottle and applied a spritz to the back of my hand. He is not a fragrance person, and NEVER gives compliments (not even when I've worn actual Naxos around him). And yet, within 3 minutes of greeting him, he told me I smelled good. For me, that was a level of validation that I didn't expect to get from this bottle...

Blind buy rating: 10/10
Overall rating: 8.7/10

richmilton

I wont post a thesis. I'll just say it's a cherry tobacco sweet on par with Pure Havane without the crazy price. Get it. Thank me letter.

With love,
Richard.

AllThatJaZZ

Tobaccos being my favourite Insurrection II Wild was an easy blind buy, this perfume has a lot of good things going for it. The smell… for a tobacco its decent, good tobacco opening and doesn’t change much in the dry down. Affordable price and great looking bottle design. Its has similarities to Pure Havane especially that opening top note but Insurrection II Wild is no Pure Havane. Pure Havane is extremely rich, thick, punchy has way more oomph and lasts ages whereas this one feels light… actually a little too light. While testing this one I did 6 sprays of Insurrection II Wild on my arms and 1 spray of Vintage Thierry Mugler Pure Havane and within 5 minutes I could barely detect Insurrection II WIld. I do like the perfume and it does a decent job of giving that Pure Havane feel and if you’re on the lookout for an affordable tobacco based frag Insurrection II Wild will do nicely. On skin it projects really well with that similar Pure Havane feel for about 3 hours then it becomes a skin scent for another 2 hours.

I’ve had Pure Havane ever since the launch, and have definitely stocked up to make sure I never run out of Pure Havane, I haven’t tried the Mugler Version and still on the lookout for one. Recently got Paris Corner Voux Elegante and this one is ok-ish, got me a bottle of Naxos too. They’re all different from each other and great in their own way, and if you like frags that are heavy on the tobacco Insurrection II Wild will be a great addition to the collection.

Vlad Gorneanu

Nothing to add more than what was already said. Smells like Pure Havane and like Naxos and so on. I think it's closest to Voux Elegante but just a little more spicy while Voux Elegante has a little more clear honey and lavender. It's totally worth the (around) $30 asking price. I'll it maturate and develop see where the scent ends.

JC347

One of my favorite frags in my collection. I have a bottle at home and work. Price, presentation, performance make for a no brainer. Safe blind buy for most

Deekerr16

Hated this when I first got my nose on it - it just smelled of synthetic sunscreen. Shelved it for months, and it slowly got tolerable. Still not sure if I love it, but it has fallen into that Mugler DNA range. But longest maceration period I've ever had for a scent that's just alright - not for typical tobacco lovers, the honey is dominant and synthetic.

Mezbah Sohan

Perfect for winter and night. Good projection and longevity...

#309 in my "Tour de Fragrance"

My first Reyane Tradition Scent was Insurrection, which I still use and love, a very vanilla-forward scent that punches above its price, though I wish they lose the cheap plastic, IQ test, really awkward to use bottle, and put it in a smartly designed bottle like the one they use for Insurrection II scents. This Wild scent also punches above its price. It's a nice fragrance and a nice value.

The opening is very tobacco smoky. Ignore it. It doesn't last. 20 minutes later it's a chocolatey version of original Insurrection. For me it's a keeper when for me very few EDTs are. It's carpool, elevator and office safe. Haven't tried it out on a date yet, so we'll see. But vanilla and chocolate should be a hit with the women I know.

SimplDude

This would be my second review after I revisited my bottle because colder season is up and about… it’s just so good but affordable 🥰

Well, If you like the niche fragrances that this one tries to emulate and is being compared to (Pure Havane, Naxos, etc.) I would say you got a solid decent alternative. For the price, you can’t go wrong with this humble juice with its scent profile, quality and performance. Luxury need not be expensive because at the end of the day, it’s how you carry yourself. Regardless if it’s cheap or expensive, fragrance is just an enhancer and a really good one if you pick the right scent profile that matches your personality.

9/10 for this wonderful juice 👏 but always try before you buy 😉

Peace out ✌️

This isn't good for the price, it's just good. Honey, Vanilla, Tobacco and a bit of spice create a wonderful scent, with great performance to match. The bottle looks great on the shelf, and the whole package just screams quality. You wouldn't know it is cheap unless someone told you. A pretty solid blind buy IMO.

Sardelokoutis

Incredibly sexy, great price point and good performance. Incredibly close to mugler pure Havane and there's practically no downsides to someone who likes this type of scent. Great packaging and presentation too, better than some niche houses even(looking at you montale)

SympathyForTheDevil

For the price this is rock solid. Performance freaks have nothing to worry about. This stuff radiated off of me for like 6h. Gf could smell it 2 meters from me in 6th hour. Overall if u like sweet tobacco scents with good versatility this is insane value for your precious €€€

Chosen2123

This stuff is incredible! It is a mix of Mugler Pure Havane and Xerjoff Naxos. I have both. I was shocked by the quality at $29. Honey, Tobacco, Cacao, and Vanilla with a bit of freshness as well. Pure Havane is discontinued and this is a proper replacement. I also have Emir Voux Elegante and that honey note is more of a beeswax note. Get Insurrection II instead. Trust me. Higher quality.

Liamlovesfregrence74

at first, this was really weird, I couldn't pin a note and it just smells syrupy and sweet, after use I can definitely see why it's so well-rated. great performance and longevity, I get tobacco and honey with a weird fruit note, I can see this developing into my winter rotation after I get used to this. 8/10

edit: it's coming together. The more I wear it the more I like it, will soon sample Naxos to see the comparison. 8.5/10

after Naxos edit: wow this is close, obviously, Naxos smells richer, dressed up, and expensive but this does a pretty good job at getting that honey sweetness, not bad at all, and will hold out on that 8 to 8.5/10 as the scent does have a slight medicinal scent to it sometimes but for the price, it is a nice sweet honey tobacco scent.

Purpose

As I’ve never smelled Pure Havane before, I really can’t compare the two, however, this is what I always imagined PH to smell like. The comparison I CAN make is with L’homme Ideal EDT.

I2W has a similar vibe to Ideal but it goes into a more chocolatey direction. In the opening what I get is strong Honey & Tobacco. A few minutes later they both take a step back & allow the cacao to take center stage with the honey accompanying it. The tobacco is still present but remains behind the curtains giving a sort of darkness to the composition. The honey adds a sort of “sparkly” nuance to the cacao & balances out the darkness of the tobacco. As it dries down it reminds me of YSL Opium, but more wearable.

It’s what I would call a “Sexy Chocolate”.

It pretty much stays this way for the duration of the scent until the woods come in at the end to close out the show.

Performance wise, I can see this lasting all day. A few sprays is all you need. It gets a bit powdery during the dry down similar to the way DHI does but without the lipsticky vibe.

You better dress this one up for a date night or special occasion!

The ideal seasons to wear this one are Fall & Winter.

Go and get you a bottle before they discontinue this one as well. I got mine for $29. A great value for this level of quality. 👍

Trueblood84

This is a great clone of Mugler pure Havane. It smells good like cherry tobacco glazed with honey. It lasts all day, and it projects acceptably. If you're looking for a way to get pure havane cheap this is the answer.

@Louie Skougaard You got a bad batch, bro. Let it sit for a month and hope it's better. I have hundreds of fragrances and this one is among the top 10% in performance among them.

People are mentioning Burberry London a lot in the reviews below. Insurrection 2 Wild is very different from that. With London you get a note of pine (Although it's not listed in the notes). Mixed with the cinnamon and incense, that's what reminds people of Christmas in a bottle. With Insurrection 2 Wild, you get more of a rich tobacco complimented by honey, vanilla and cacao. In my mind, the two give off very different vibes. It's like the difference between TF Tobacco Vanille and Bvlgari Man in Black. One or two different notes could make similar fragrances seem miles apart.

Year two review: This has now become sublime, a cherry vanilla pipe tobacco, with great longevity. Put on five sprays at 6:30am, was getting regular wafts on the drive home 11 hours later. Used 1/8th bottle last winter, then it sat for 6mo. Compared to the first year, where the opening was very strong medicinal cherry note and there was no longevity, the cherry is now tamed, pleasant, and less pominent, the vanillla has increased, and cacao note has revealed itself. I don't get any noticeable spice or smoke. Presentation is novel, bottle and cap are great but the box is too tight for the drawer. Great value, and I just bought a backup, because this is so good once it's aged-in.

George Aziz

As a tobacco fragrances lover, I bought this one as an alternative to the discontinued and really hard to find pure havane and yes I can get the cherry tobacco with a hint of cocoa.

I wished the performance to be better, and to project louder, but to be honest I can't complain due to the huge price difference.

At least it is better than Zara's tobacco collection in terms of quality.

Louie Skougaard

I just got my bottle after blind buying, I like the scent, but the performance is so bad. I get 1 hour of projection, and then it is a skin scent, and a very weak skin scent in fact. Do I have to let it macerate, or do I just have a bad batch?

suzanne_ronald

Sweet HONEY, TOBACCO & TONKA Scent...

This is a dupe of A*Men Pure Havane Mugler with good approximation and excellent performance. In the first couple of minutes I get sweet tobacco and spicy notes. The spicy notes are kind of a blur but sometimes I pick out anise, pink-pepper & ginger-spice. As the sillage opens up I start to get the dried fruit facets of tobacco and the tonka, and you will catch glimpses of other honey, tobacco & tonka scents. This one keeps the fruity aspects of tobacco & tonka in something near a candied ginger territory, although you do get some near-cherry tones from the tonka. An hour or two into the drydown I get the Angel Mugler & A*Men Mugler DNA. Gingerbread isn't listed here but I actually find it easier to imagine gingerbread here than in other honey-tobacco-tonka scents that list gingerbread. This has excellent performance for year-round wear, but the sweet tobacco profile makes it most appropriate for fall & winter or chilly nights. It's a love for me. 10/10. Enjoy!

xaki

Havent smelled Pure Havane yet however just got a decant of Naxos and these two are like 90% close. only difference is the addition of a clean lavender in naxos.

Akel

There are some fragrances that you can't go wrong with them. Insurrection II Wild is one of them. Excellent presentation, fantastic scent, projection and longevity and a low price. In my opinion you don't have to pay a lot of money when there are hidden gems like this on the market. For less than a 30€ you buy a fantastic fragrance similar or even better than PH.

elight_l

While sharing a similar base note as Xerjoff Naxos, the cardamom note means it is very similar to Amouage Boundless for a bargain price.

vespucchi

For people who own Burberry London.

I blind bought Burberry London and absolutely hated it, there's something about it that I don't like. When I ordered this fragrance I saw only few reviews mention London and I was praying for it to be nothing like that. When I got the fragrance first thing I did was smell the cap and instantly regretted the purchase cause it smelled so similar but then I sprayed it on my arm and let it sit there for 10 minutes. I can say that I was very relieved because it's a very different scent, sure I can pick up London a bit but it's not overpowering. In contrast, it's sweeter due to cherry and honey and definitely a bit more feminine. In general if you prefer sweeter fragrances, this is for you. I can't comment on PH since I've never owned it but for the price of 25€ you get nice presentation (box and bottle) and a very pleasant scent which lasts and performs. Imo you can't go wrong with this one.

SpendThrift74

I got a sample of this hoping to find something like a Burberry London replacement that lasts longer and is a bit less expensive.

Is it in the same category as London? Yes.
Does it seem stronger than London in terms of projection and longevity? Yes.
Is it a replacement for London? Not to me.

I do not have a skilled "nose," so I cannot pick out a lot of notes with any accuracy, but for those who are wondering how this compares to London, I'd put it this way:

London has a kind of freshness... I2W has a kind of soapiness.
London has a sweetness akin to a mulled wine... I2W has a sweetness akin to honey.
London has a bit of a pipe tobacco smell... I2W comes off as more powdery to me than tobacco-like.

Here are the "scenes" I think the two fragrances evoke:

London is sitting at the holiday table. There is spiced wine in your hand. Grandfather is across the room, smoking sweet tobacco by a window opened to snow-frosted pines. The fresh breeze from the window brings all these aromas to you.

IW2 is laying in bed as your wife approaches dressed in classy pajamas-- having bathed in expensive honeyed soap and generously applied her favorite scented powder.

Both are VERY pleasant fragrances, I just find IW2 quite feminine to my nose. Your mileage may vary.

My first review on this site ever, look its that simple if you are a guy between the age of 1-100 GET THIS ONE!! thats it, thanks

FlirtBoy

I don´t get much similarity to Pure Havane tbh. I expected this to be sweeter in a honeyed-tobacco way of PH but I get almost none of that. Instead it is sweet almost in a perfumey/feminine way with some mild spicy + tobacco notes lingering around. There is a moment in the drydown when it really resembles PH for an hour or so but if I hadn´t seen the votes I would never guess there is more than very slight similarity. After all it is quite good scent itself but definitely not a clone/substitute for PH.

P. S. but to stay objective I´ll need to test it several times on different weather conditions.

Edit: ok after second wearing on a rather warm day I get whiffs of PH during the midnotes and drydown and the "feminine" vibe is gone. It seems to work much better on hot days on my skin. (Apart from similarity to PH it is still a good fragrance itself). More testing on the way. Maybe some maceration will also help.

Edit 2: I´ve realized that there are moments when I2W reminds me of PH mixed with another recent buy - Lattafa Khaltat al Arabiya Royal Blend. Both longevity and projection are very good.

Glennard

Love this one, but there's no denying that it doesn't have a lot going on in terms of notes at the forefront. It's mostly a sweet tobacco fragrance, and that's totally fine. It works wonderfully for layering or on its own. The bottle shape is kinda whack. It reminds me of Nautica Blue. I've found that holding the side of the fat part of the bottle in my palm and lining the atomizer up with the thin edge on the bottle works best. But even explaining that felt like running a marathon. All in all, I still recommend this fragrance to guys. Just be patient figuring out what spray position works best for you, and try to stick to using it in colder weather

Kiragure

This is Pure Havane in another bottle.
I got Pure Havane three years ago and I used to use it as my daily scent for a couple of months.
With the prices going up on Pure Havane and it being discontinued I would suggest people to buy this and save your money since the prices on Pure Havane is ranging from 2000- 3000 swedish kroner ( Around 200-300 US dollars).

This is definetly blindbuy worthy, do not hesitate to pull the trigger on this one :)

Sunnn

A good fragrance that comes really cheap. Sweet honey tobacco vanilla with some spicy notes. For the price this is nearly a must have!

But...some people see this one as an alternative to Naxos by Xerjoff. Uhm...No. Really, this is not a cheap substitute of Naxos. They both gravitate into the same territory but Naxos is pretty different. More refined, more elegant, more complex, more powerful. If you really love Naxos you can't buy this one instead of it. Don't know if it is close to Pure Havana as I don't have it but , as I said, this is not like Naxos and I don't understand how so many people keep saying that they are both pretty much the same thing. Maybe they just tested Naxos one time? Don't know.

Anyway this is a very good fragrance, longevity is good but it is not loud, it became a skin scent pretty quickly and sillage is moderate.

A TOBACCO-SWEET PREMIUM OUTSIDER

Many people have asked themselves the inevitable question of whether or not to buy a clone. Sometimes it's a good choice, with price and availability being the top two reasons.
Is it justified? Well, in my opinion, it is always justifiable if the inspiring fragrance is discontinued.
Wild Insurrection II is a dupe for "A*Men Pure Havane" by Thierry Mugler. Reyanne Tradition did well with this inspired fragrance and I bought it after reading so much praise about it. I have tried to overcome Mugler EdT's low availability for a period of time. I currently have two bottles of Pure Havane, but it is almost impossible to get it anywhere since three years ago.
I admit I didn't expect to be so pleased with this perfume. Due to my so good opinion when buying "Insurrection II Wild", I also decide to buy the Dark and Pure editions out of sheer curiosity.
YZY - owners of the Reyane Tradition brand - is a disoriented group. They haven't decided yet whether to make niche perfumes or cheap clone designs. With the Insurrection II series and some niche-quality fragrances like "Acqua di Parisis", they have grown an above-average number of designer clones. I think their customers are confused too. I consider all three Insurrection II offerings for men to be above-average designer perfumes. Some other good YZY fragrances fell by the wayside.

I find this scent to be very linear, a bit spicy, and less sweet than expected. It's definitely a masculine fragrance. It presents some sweetness with honey and vanilla, some balsamic chords with styrax and labdanum, and some earthy notes with patchouli and seductive moist tobacco. I am only suggesting the notes taken by my nose.
This perfume is pleasantly comfortable and calls for a good cognac after a lively dinner with close friends. It creates a cosy atmosphere and attracts the attention of both sexes. It has an excellent price/performance ratio. I will try to explain why with my ratings:

My math for "Insurrection II Wild | Reyane Tradition":
___ ___ ___ ___ ___ ___
Opening: 8.5 (moist aromatic tobacco, sweetened with honey and vanilla)
Drying: 8.0 (shades of earthy patchouli and amber)
Longevity: 7.5 (Up to 7~8 hours with 3 sprays)
Silage: 7.5 (top silage with 5 to 6 feet radius and projects for 2 hours)
Portability 8.5 (avoid hot days; very good for almost any other type of weather, either day or night)
Versatility: 8.5 (Some people claim that Insurrection II Wild is sexy as hell. I disagree with its sexiness features for some noses. To me, the sweet and strong smell of tobacco suggests a noisy encounter with friends. Without a doubt, this is a versatile fragrance.)
Praise: 9.0 (very serious praise from both sexes; it really gets everyone's attention)
Exclusivity: 7.5 (not 10 as it is a dupe Pure Havane, although a very good one as it performs better and costs several times less)
Quality: 8.0 (doesn't smell cheap; the compliments and comments I've received must mean something)
Presentation: 7.5 (Ok bottle (almost nice), but unattractive box)
Price: 9.5 (€ 20.00 per 90 ml + shipping)
___ ___ ___ ___ ___ ___
Average: 8.22 / 10.00

Comment on "Insurrection II" by Reyane Tradition:
I usually don't like praising clones. This perfume is supposed to clone "A*Men Pure Havane by Thierry Mugler. However, it's less sweet and more powerful. It also resembles XJ 1861 Naxos by XerJoff". In short, it is a cheap, pleasant, and manly smell of moist tobacco. I only recommend it based on that.

stephen.redeker

This is a sweet, honeyed tobacco that out-performs everything else it smells like...and for a fraction of the cost of the popular fragrances it's inspired by. I've had several coworkers compliment me on this one; some telling me they smell coffee. Usually fragrances underperform on my skin, but not this one: This lasts over 12 hours on me...a few sprays in the morning and it's still there at night (so far only Lagerfeld Classic can match that for a tobacco fragrance). Keep in mind the other Insurrection offerings don't come close in regards to performance; this one stands alone.

Of course this doesn't have the depth and nuances of a niche fragrance. I don't have Naxos, but I do have Emir Voux Elegante, and I'd take Insurrection 2 Wild if I had to keep only one. It's ahead of its time, being a cheapie staple for several years (way before this new wave of impressive clones flooded our community). This is a great example of a fragrance that combines cheap components to create a product that feels like high quality (which should be the goal of these dupes). For around $30, hard to beat this one in scent quality, performance, and simply getting the job done. Look at the rating above (it's almost the same as Pure Havanne). Well deserved. The best overall for this fragrance house. Review by Bronstet below is spot on.

megabeast

Blind bought, big mistake, opening smells like cough syrup then dry down smells just like an old library. Sort of like the pages of a very old book. An older fragrance would probably go well with a tweed suit but otherwise not great

xaki

Never smelled Pure Havane so this is my review off first day of use:

The opening is very sweet. Syrupy sweet. All I get from it is cherry, and a Medicinal one at that. It literally smells like the cherry in cough syrup. Once the scent starts to dry down the cherry eases up and I smell more tobacco, vanilla, and cacao and some spiciness. I get no honey, at least to my nose the sweetness all comes from the syrupy medicinal cherry, which I feel like really ruins the scent because the other notes in it smell really pleasant. If you're not a fan of cherry do not buy, as it is very prominent throughout the whole lifetime of the scent. Hopefully after letting it macerate a bit things will change.

Mixxitdj

After finding out that PH was discontinued, I came here looking for similar notes from another cologne. BAM everyone says wild was the answer. So bought it and it does not disappoint. It does smell like Joop but the soft powdery tobacco goes into vanilla creaminess softness. It's been a few hours and it's still going strong. I only sprayed twice. Next time I will do 3 or 4.
Excellent choice for 30 $.

mrperq

Holy moly this smells good. I never had the chance to smell Havane, but if it smells anything close to this, damn it wasn't a smart move of Mugler to discontinue it.

Powdery honey with a cherry note. Especially the honey is quite delicious. Verry sweet, but not heavy. There's quite a few other notes in the background, but they all have more supportive roles. Verry different from most other tabacco scents I have. (And I have quite a few.) This might become one of my favorites.

Also usually not something I usually care for in the cheap section, but this presentation is actually pretty good, maybe one of the best ones I have so far. Even included a sample of another one of their fragrances.

I can stronly recommend this. This is awesome.

Tre de Fill

I like! I don't know what Pure Havana smells like, but it doesn't smell like Naxos. Otherwise, a great fragrance with good performance. Beautiful packaging and bottle. Overall rating 8/10

millerje86

First off, I own Pure Havana and Naxos.
This is similar, very similar. Dollar for dollar you could even say it’s the “same”.
Does it have the same smoothness and development that the aforementioned do? No, it doesn’t. But does it cost around $200/bottle, again, no it doesn’t.

The fact that people don’t think there will be some sort of trade off when you pay a fraction of the price is so weird to me.

/\/\/\/\/\

I adore Pure Havane and this stuff is almost identical, I’m so glad I found a few bottles at a great price because I’ll be wearing the shit out of this magnificent fragrance. It’s so hard to believe a fragrance can smell so good, last so long and project so well and be this inexpensive. Bravo to the perfumers responsible for this liquid gold!

OH MY GOD
10/10
Edit:
That was my initial reaction to the dry down of this spectacular fragrance
It's gourmand and expensive smelling
The opening isn't really even annoying like some say
It just smells AMAZING
I was gassing it up like it was the most revolutionary thing ever made a little too much before so

Smells like Pure Havane.
Pure Havane = 10/10
Insurrection II Wild Reyane Tradition = 10/10

Bronstet

* Superb sweet tobacco forward fragrance that adds soft powder notes on the drydown
* Incredible strength and performance
* Very smooth and masculine cologne
* Great for men in their 30's and above
* Tremendous value and quality for the price

* Essentially a one note fragrance (but what an incredible note it is)
* Underrated and under appreciated
* Not unisex
* Not good for hot weather
* Not good for younger users

Reyane Insurrection Wild II is a heady and powerful sweet tobacco forward cologne with a punchy opening that has slight touches of vanilla and honey, but come on, sweet tobacco is the star of the show here. Soft baby powder notes do also come to the forefront as it dries down. Just incredibly smooth overall. This is an incredibly strong performer with excellent projection, longevity and sillage. So much so that a salesman holding a store door open for me noticed it and complimented me as I was exiting and already out the door and on the sidewalk. This is a heady, fragrant and very masculine cologne. Highly recommended on its beautiful aroma and incredible performance alone. It is said to be a clone of Mugler's A*Men Pure Havane but I have no frame of reference to it as I have never used that cologne. Judging it solely on its own merits, IMHO this is a superb tobacco cologne and an amazing value at its price given its very high quality.

This is very tobacco forward and little else other than the soft powder so you know what you're in for here. It's not good for women, younger users, or hot weather. It's great for men in their 30's and above for pretty much all occasions. Manufacturer Reyane is a French maker that seems to specialize in affordable clones, a market area that is usually occupied by Middle Eastern fragrance producers and they are pretty much unknown. I only found out about them via YouTube and based on the quality of this cologne, I'd be very happy to use their other products.

KnightsD

A bit synthetic, but after a wearing I got used to it and it smells great. Definitely a tobacco fragrance, has a pipe tobacco feel, but smells wonderful and cozy. Not much projection but it stays on clothes for a day, so there is some strength to it I suppose.

Tonifigz15

I've never smelled pure havane or naxos but I find this fragrance absolutely gorgeous in cold weather despite such a low price. It performs great lasting me around 8 hours and a couple of hours projection even though it's just An EDT. Overall I'm pretty happy purchasing this fragrance and will keep using it as one of my cold weather scents.

Duci0167

After first spray I knew this one have to macerate. Now after almost 3 months all I can say is this cheapie is awesome. Strong honey tobacco smell. Performance are very nice to. Initially it's very very close to Havane. Drydown goes more to Naxos dna. I was sceptic so tried it hand vs hand. Difference I got is that Naxis have that luxury smell like it should and that's the only thing Insurrection Wild is missing while being just little sweeter than Naxos.
This comment is based on full Insurrection II Wild wearing not just one spray than run to Fragrantica to be smart. Awesome fragrance after all! This one is in the category "If it was in famous brand bottle it would cost at least 2X."

TheLotusEffect

Cheapie but smells cheap, uninteresting straightforward sweetness and meh performance. Not a good replacement for Naxos or Pure Havane.

On spray smells extremely synthetic and strongly of perfumer’s alcohol. Afterwards settles into a linear sweet scent - tobacco, tonka, honey, vanilla and cacao but feels cloying and synthetic. Relatively weak performance for this type of frag as well.

natebomb

I really wanted to love this since I love the original A* Men, and I never got to smell pure havane. I bought this and it smells like headache inducing, synthetic, powdery old man. Performance seems to be stellar on fabric especially... not exactly something I see as a positive since I don't like the scent.

churp_27

Signature scent worthy even though the price is cheap.

erarmas

In my particular opinion…this is “SIMILAR” to Pure Havane…no that closed to Naxos. I have both. But it could just be me. For the price is a very good fragrance.

Jeaq

Bit strong on the spray, but the drydown warm cacao vanilla tobacco is insanely good and lasts for at least 7-12 hours depending on how it's applied. 6-9 sprays is nice but strooong at the start, so you should maybe avoid people for a minute after applying.

Anyone saying this scent is overrated or weak, needs to get their head checked... A 3oz bottle is ~$25 and it punches waaay above its weight.

Naxos nerds should pursue a proper clone house rather than comparing a bargain-bin cheapie to a niche designer fragrance that is 12x the cost, as if that's a good argument for why Insurrection II is bad. Cry some more.

ixo

I had one bottle of this and the smell wasn't as good and the performance was bad. I got a 2nd bottle and the performance was much improved and i feel smelled better.

It really does smell delicious and a bit like naxos. (ive never smelled havane).
Overall for the price paid I think this is an amazing frag you should check out if these type of notes appeal to you.

Berto_P85

Literally smelling this side by side with Naxos and it is CLOSE. Sure Naxos is richer, denser, and less synthetic but for the price I cant justify buying Naxos while this gets you 90% close for 1/10 the price.

Chaselark

This is my first Reyane fragrance, blind buy driven by years of hype of this bottle. I definitely can see those describing this as medicinal in the opening, but that's kind of commonplace at this price those aiming at these accords. I'm not one to get distracted by openings, which are brief and limited, gotta allow for the dry down, which is the whole show for me. My very first thought was: I get it, I see what's trying to be achieved here - but it's so so lesser in vibrance and richness than Franck Olivier fragrances that categorically fall into the same bucket. I'm talking about Oud Touch, Black Touch, & Oud Vanille - they're all basically in the same bucket as Insurrection 2 - but so much more rich and vibrant, in a word, quality in a cheapie. Those Franck Olivier fragrances punch 3x, 4x above their price point....and this Insurrection 2 strikes with me as a $20-$25 fragrance. Another decent cheapie in this same bucket, Cremo Spice & Black Vanilla and I would place this Insurrection 2 as 1 rung up the ladder better in quality than that Cremo S&BV Sure, it's nice for what it is, dry down is very smooth, I'm glad I bought it...but I just don't think it's close in quality or "wow" factor as a similarly priced Franck Olivier fragrance in the same bucket.

SAMPSODX

OMG I love this magic! It’s a sweet, spicy, tobacco fragrance. I know honey is listed but I get like a cherry note.

Anyway, what ever it is it works and I think it’s amazing.

Behindthefog

Yuck! Smells like chloraseptic cough/throat spray. So medicinal. One of a few fragrances I had to wash off from getting ill. If this smells just like pure havana,I'm shocked that that had such rave reviews. To each their own,I guess. Not my cup of tea, unfortunately

cal_geiger

Beast mode cheapie! Great for wardrobe/bed spritz here and there cause it lasts forever on fabrics. Love smelling this stuff after it’s sit on my hoodies and jackets.

Also lasts super long on my skin, but it’s too cloying and heavy on the synthetic sweetness for me to reach for during colder months over others in my collection. Still not a bad choice for someone else, just do like 1-2 sprays and your scent trail will be plenty loud enough.

3/5 for me,
Cheers!

Naixsu

My most complimented
Can smell like a cough syrup if you smell it close
but in the air its nice

elight_l

It smells like salty liquorice at first, then I thought about cumin seeds. After sniffed through my spice rack I am settled on fennel seeds. One thing for sure, it does NOT smell like Herod or CK One Shock. It does have a hint of Naxos in its base note, not much tho. Love the packaging.

lerina_adorno

Honey is very prominent on me with some spices. Best worn in colder temperatures as it can be quite cloying otherwise. No performance issues here. A little goes a long way. The bottle is a little awkward for me to hold. It’s definitely not one I will repurchase as it’s much more masculine leaning and the honey note is far too strong for my liking.

Calberts

The worst cologne I have ever bought. Very strong and long lasting scent of cherry chapstick. My gf did not like it either.

AstralMatrix

I2W used to smell like Pure Havane. USED to. Do not waste your money on Reyane Tradition fragrances.

Their dupes were great in the mid-2010s for just a couple years,. They then became diluted, bad copies of the good dupes they were.

Not hating. Just telling you the truth so you save your money. The price to performance ratio made the Insurrection II fragrances incredible years ago.

They hype was real. Not anymore. It's over. Now they are further away from what they used to be compared to how far they were from the fragrances they were interpreting.

Let that sink in. 😔

Old_SnakeTwitch

I must be sensitive to tonka bean / coumarin because it completely overpowered the rest. I sold my bottle fast. At least it was cheap.
Update: I'd maybe recommend Alhambra's Tobacco Touch over this unless you really want that honey note

oldlifter

I really enjoy this. I would describe it as a smooth, sweet, cherry tobacco scent. I don't pick up on the honey that others mention, but I do feel like there's a hint of licorice in the background which is very nice. This can be worn anytime in cooler weather. It ticks all the boxes for me- smells great, versatile, long-lasting, somewhat unique, & inexpensive to boot! My son wishes it wasn't so linear, but I like the opening so I have no complaints in that regard. I was skeptical given the price, but am glad I gave it a shot.

I was able to pick this up for < $20. At that price, I consider this a screaming must-buy. I have seen prices for this begin to hit $30 & at that price, it is still worth owning, but I wouldn't be as excited.

Joben91

I got this as a blind buy because I was on a search for a decent smokey and sweet scent and have heard some good things about it. I was really disappointed by the hype.

The opening is such a raw and heavy tobacco scent clashing with sweet scents. The tobacco scent smells more like a cigarette rather than a cigar to me. Rather than the smokiness complementing the sweetness or vice versa it feels like the two scents are in an all out battle for attention and its overwhelming to me. The dry down gets better, but only at the very end when the base notes are all that is left. I actually reached for it a second time because I wanted that dried down scent, but I forgot how strong that opener is.

Ironically, this performs well for its price point. Its long lasting and has good performance, if I liked the smell it would have a been a positive.

Its a good value, but unfortunately this scent isn't for me.

Arber Cami

I bought it because of the comparison to Pure Havane & Naxos, I wish I loved this scent but it is quite disappointed to say the least.
People who say this is an exact (or very decent/close) clone of ''Pure Havane'' or Xerjoff Naxos should reconsider their sense of smell.
The opening is alcohol-y and heavy synthetic tobacco. Dry down is still heavy tobacco (something like Aramis Tobacco) with some spices and some woodsy notes floating in the air.
Quite linear from opening to dry down and doesn't smell natural at all.

omida

Just bought this as a way to fill the Pure Havane-shaped hole in my heart. And while it does smell great, it doesn't smell identical to Pure Havane.

The A Men patchouli note is missing which can be seen as a good or bad thing depending on your taste. But the honey and tobacco in the drydown isn't quite as rich as PH's to my (amateur) nose.

I'm also going to leave it to try mature/macerate the fragrance as the projection is weaker than PH's too.

All in all, not quite as good as PH but it smells good so a great purchase for the price.

Update: the projection has improved after spraying and leaving to sit for a while. The scent is still not as deep but longevity is awesome

Man, this is a hard one for me. A few years back, I smelled Pure Havane at a Dillards and was immediately intrigued and loved it. Was my first introduction to a realistic tobacco fragrance. I immediately smelled the cherry with a realistic pipe tobacco as very distinct notes. When i started getting more obsessed with fragrances several months ago, that was the first one I looked into. Unfortunately discontinued, I kept hearing about this one. Almost everyone loves this as a clone of Pure Havane. When I got it in and sprayed it, it just wasn't what I remembered from Pure Havane. I asked my wife what this smelled like to her and she said that Black original chapstick from when we were kids. As it started to dry down it smelled a bit like cherry carmex. Very camphoric to my nose. As it dries down more I do get a bit more of the cherry amidst the camphor and what i would call some earthiness, but still not a distinct realistic pipe tobacco that I can smell. I really wanted to LOVE this. I'm still on the hunt for my perfect realistic cherry pipe tobacco scent! Preferably with very little if no vanilla.

sniffer 65

Haven't tried Pure Havane (and from the other reviews, I guess I don't have to), but I was intrigued by the comparisons to Bogart Pour Homme. I didn't see this initially, as this opens as a cherry vanilla pipe tobacco with cotton candy scent. But as this dries down, the sweetness backs off a bit to reveal what I perceive as lavender and rugged florals, which somewhat resemble the fougere elements of BPH. No one will ever confuse these two scents, but I think they could actually work well together in layers - BPH to provide structure, masculinity, a bit of green bitterness and long-lasting performance; the I2W providing a casual, sweeter, rounder counterpoint.

Edit: In the dry down, this also shares some the best elements of Lapidus Pour Homme while eliminating the challenging animalic aspects. Nice.

In short, this is love at first smell - sweet, non-linear, appealing, and interesting.

As a former pipe smoker, however, I do have to nitpick a bit. The "tobacco" in here, which is the same "tobacco" used by Tom Ford and Mugler, is what you would smell if you put your nose in a jar of Lane 1Q aka Captain Black Teal package, which is the most popular pipe tobacco in the world. This is a cavendish burley (a slightly nutty but inexpensive tobacco used because it absorbs flavors well and lacks distinctive flavors of its own) topped with loads of propylene glycol infused with artificial vanilla, cacao, caramel and fruit flavors. The toppings smell wonderful, both in raw form and when smoked, but there is very little actual tobacco smell in either form. Serious pipe smokers (the equivalent of niche and upper-level designer fragheads in the pipe world) sneer at these "drugstore" blends like niche guys sneer at Aspen or Stetson, preferring rich, unflavored zesty bright Virginias, smoky Latakias or piquant Periques. Funny how one hobby's upper echelon is another hobby's bargain basement!

KateWest

This might sound weird but this smells almost like a fougere to my nose. Imagine mixing a sweet green fougere with a woody, tonka, tobacco fragrance. That's the interpretation of what it smells like to me. I really love this fragrance and find it totally unisex. Besides my Cartier La Panthere, this is my most reached for "before bed" fragrance. It's super comforting and I love smelling wafts of this as I fall asleep. Probably because it gives the illusion I'm falling asleep next to someone. 😭

AbeStreet

This is my first impression, I'll update my review should subsequent wearing's change my impression. First, I like the presentation. The boxing was very attractive and probably the best I've encountered in this price range. The bottle comes placed in a drawer that pulls out from the main box. An attractive box as well. The bottle perfectly matches the fragrance profile and is a handsome addition to the collection.

Second, the fragrance is just as described and is sweet and warm in its profile. However, it does smell cheap! The opening is the worst for me. Try as I might the cheap way the fragrance comes across distracts from the attractive notes that make it up. The dry down is better for me and I receive moderate performance. Not a beast fragrance but several good hours of projection.

Lastly, the presentation and price make this a safe purchase. While I find the cheap smell distracting it is not offensive and I intend to wear it a few more times to see if I might not adjust my impression.

Joey3105

It's a thumbs up from me. I do get a slight whiff of liquorice on the initial spray but quickly settles into beautiful gourmand scent. Tobacco, vanilla, honey and warm spices. Not overly sweet at all which was a pleasant surprise.

RSA_Mla

Started wearing Insurrection II Wild Reyane Tradition again, what do I get, tobacco, sweet, honey, vanilla, woodsy? Wow, beast mode attack. Just 3 sprays or less, 8 to 9 hrs smells a very luxurious gourmand scent. Be prepared for third-party reactions.

Jared

Been wearing it for a week and is addictive, but couldn't put my finger on it until now. To me it's a very safe soapy fragrance. Like a warm spicey shower gel. The Tobacco reminds me of Versace Dreamer, but with warm spices accords and the cherry sweetness is not overpowering but done right. I believe it can be worn any season and appropriate for most situations, other than special occasions or a first date. Comes across as a dumb reach and playful. Nothing sophisticated about it.

PLK

Very similar to pure havane, longer lasting but slightly cheaper smelling. It doesn't have the cherry note that's in pure havane, which makes it a little darker and masculine, but it is still very similar.

Kainoa08!

Just got this one and … wow ! First off , side by side almost identical to pure havanne . I was also very impressed by the presentation.. not that that’s all that important , but for the price you can’t beat this . Not office friendly but not as decisive as red tabacco. This is the type of fragrance that I will put on after a shower before bed .. just love how it smells . The honey really comes through with the sweet pipe tabacco . Nowhere near as refined as Tabacco Vanille but few fragrances are . Drop the $20-30 bucks and you won’t be disappointed!

rory1

If anyone was considering getting Bogart Pour Homme, get this instead. To me they smell pretty similar but this is way sweeter and more refined, more wearable. Bogart Pour Homme to me isn't wearable unless you're 50+

Jim75

I like this a lot. I picked it up as it was suggested as an alternative to Pure Havane. To be totally honest in my opinion this performed better. I had two bottles of the Mugler Pure Havane and sold them. This to me smelled better, stronger, and it lasts all day long. I work outside and I could smell it. I could even smell it the next day when I threw my clothes in the wash. Give it a try.

Update I was able to finally track down an early batch of Pure Havane and this Insurrection is no comparison. Still a good cheap fragrance.

egghead1280

This is probably the best value buy in my collection at $19. The cherry tobacco note is persistent and you will smell it from start to finish. The honey, vanilla, and cacao notes all come to play too and are easily recognizable. But in my experience they all serve to flank the ever-present cherry tobacco note, and the balance/mixing is really pleasant. Not to mention this will easily last you the entire day. The only mild complaint I have is that is can sometimes hit a little too sweet and sugary, but that's really not that surprising given the notes. Now that the weather has cooled down, this has become my go-to for office settings because it lasts forever but doesn't drown the room and is typically not overly polarizing. Maybe not the one to take to the bars at 1 am but definitely the one to take to an after-work gathering or lounge. Highly recommend.

RobertJames

If you like Xerjoff Naxos and don’t want to pay $300, try this. Or if you are hunting for Pure Havane but can’t find it anywhere, buy this. Is it as good as either? No, not quite, but for $25 you will get very close to both, and the only person that will be able to tell the difference is you. This is truly one of the best fragrance clones you can buy on the market today.

Naxos 9.5/10
Pure Havane 9/10
Insurrection 8/10

CreepyKid

This is an absolutely delicious fragrance. You can actually pick out the individual notes even though it's a budget offering which is incredible. The blending on this one truly is top tier and makes for a comforting olfactory experience. The deep tobacco note mixes with dark chocolate, spices, oranges, and creamy woods to create a beautiful incense like vibe. The vanilla and honey add warmth and sweetness while maintaining a delightfully different masculine scent. I'd venture to guess there's a touch of florals in here too, maybe a candied rose note. I came across this on here while looking for fragrances similar to London and Shock, which Insurrection II Wild surely is close to both, and I'm glad I did. I purchased a bottle right away because it was available for such a good price and it's definitely worth it. Projection is fine radiating within a personal space, longevity is nice as well giving close to all day wear. Curious to see what other offerings this house has.

JonMaddgician

Have I smelt Pure Havane? No.
Is this a good fragrance? Yes.
Is it comparable to Naxos? No.
Does the price compare with Naxos? Also no.

Upon reviewing my current collection, I've come to realise that I must be a fan of tobacco fragrances. Does this smell like tobacco leaves? No. But that's not what tobacco fragrances are really about to me, but more so how the heavy, sour, pungent smell of tobacco is balanced by other accords to make it pleasant and seductive, and Insurrection II Wild does a great job of it. The opening is musky sweet like liquid caramel and vanilla honey, and in the dry down you get more of that fresh rolling tobacco coming through as a skin scent with less projection. It's more like Burberry London for Men but less sharp, softer, sweeter, cosier, to me it comes across more refined, smoother, gentler. Lasts quite well all day, but it's certainly not as punchy as Red Tobacco or Carlisle. Blind buy worthy if you like sweet spicy gourmands, but not if you prefer freshies.

Tman98

Honey tobacco. Strong but cosy. Good value for money, highly recommend.

seldomseen

Insurrection II Wild, is a solid budget clone of Pure Havane. The most significant difference in terms of smell is that Insurrection II Wild is a bit thinner and/or less dense than Pure Havane. Whereas, Pure Havane smells richer, denser and higher quality than Insurrection II Wild. Performance for Insurrection II Wild is also a bit mediocre. Not sure how the older batches performed. 🤔 I suspect most people will yield about 4 hours of relatively lackluster performance with the current batch of Insurrection II Wild. The current batch is actually more suited to spring and summer wearing's due to how light and thin the fragrance wears.

I don't recommend paying more than $30.00 for Insurrection II Wild. If you can buy this fragrance for under $30.00 it'll definitely be worth its short comings.

Overall: 8/10

Rob321x

Don’t have the money to pay the outrageous prices for pure havane? This is the best and closest you will find for dirt cheap! Or you could even be like me and bought this as a back up to pure havane. This is a great dupe! Smelling good on a budget fragrance right here!

Sidney09

Has a slight Red Tobacco opening, then settles more sweet.

Spencergaryhansen

I don’t like when people describe scents as sexy. They do it way too often. But I have to say, this one does smell sexy to me. A sharp honey burst off the skin that pulls you in. It’s aggressive in a sophisticated way. Blind buy worthy.

Worth way more than I paid for it. Value for the money.

Normskis

I was looking for a tobacco frag. I have OG Spicebomb which has clear and lasting cigar/pipe tobacco notes which are dominant.

I watched YT vids recommending this as a top tobacco frag. I am hugely disappointed. It smells like cherry throat lozenges. There is no tobacco note at all. It is one dimensional.

The search continues.

I can only assume the YT reviewers are paid shills.

istrate_jhony

I find the dry down even better than Pure Havane, very beautiful scent, sweet and sexy but masculine same time, the price is spot on 30£/90ml perfect. Is one to one with Pure Havane so if you cannot find PH buy this one and you won't regret it.

Timyoungn304

What else can be said about it that hasn’t already? This stuff just hits right for that fall weather we’re getting now. At less than $25 (in most places) you won’t find higher quality I don’t think.

Aus11n

Picked it up for 23$ and I don’t know how they did it but they made a 95% close Naxos interpretation and it performs! Bottle is hefty and high quality. Very impressive. Nice warm Honey and Lavender. Tobacco is reserved but present.

ampiko

A decent tobacco scent. Can compete with the Niche producers at a fraction of the cost.

Danny-D13

I sprayed 1 spray of this when I first got home and opened it the day it got delivered. My wife walked downstairs about 10 minutes later and could smell it half-way up the stairs, and across the room. This stuff PROJECTS. It opens up kind of a dusty, smoky, woody, tobacco, and over the next half hour, the vanilla starts to peak through. Thanks to this, it sweetens up nicely, but stays nicely masculine because the tobacco doesn't fade. I'm wearing it for the first time today to work, so I'll try to remember to update this review later once I get a full day's wear out of it, so I know what the full performance is like.

Tacosalad

So here I am again buying fragrance due to reviews and not my needs. I absolutely think this is a banger for the money and smells phenomenal after the black licorice like opening drys. It’s similar to Pure Havane but it’s more effervescent and less sticky IMO. Smells better with your nose right in it, slightly cloying from far away. It has a note that’s alittle sour like anise that projects alittle to hard for me. The big issue is I don’t have any place to wear this and much like all these type scents with heavy leather and tobacco they are not versatile and I always leave them on shelf when picking my fragrance for the day. I know there are exceptions but I don’t get many positive comments wearing it either. Actually a couple not so positive. I wish it was more like PH and stay alittle thicker on skin. The notes that project don’t smell right unless you smell the sweetness of the honey on the skin at same time. I think this would be a sexy cologne for a confident lady to dab behind her ears. No hate I just can’t see wearing unless I’m in a cowboy outfit of some sort. I may try to layer with spicebomb and see where that goes as well. If you like these notes it’s a 9/10 quality fragrance. I’m just not the right guy to pull it off because of its aggressive nature. Will go on shelf with CK Shock , Club Black and SF Uomo Signature to be used sparingly. Wife gives it a 4/10 😕

edneyheleneusa

OH man its soooooooooo good!

Refined, smells very luxury !!!

Last's for long long time! Monster projection too..i cant stop smelling it, it's so intoxicating and addictive! 10/10

Detman101

My bottle must have gone bad. All i smell now is cherries. 😕

ALakota

If anyone is bummed about Pure Havane being discontinued, you can stop now. Any differences between I2W and pure havane are undetectable to the casual nose. This is one of my favorite smells of all time, and easily the single best value in the history of perfumery. This is not hyperbole whatsoever. Just buy the stuff for the measly 25 dollars to see what I'm talking about. To me this is a more pleasant smell than both Naxos and 1981x. Pure Havane is still my favorite, but if I was challenged to tell them apart I would almost certainly be completely guessing. Stop reading this and go buy it. God bless Reyane Tradition for producing such an EXQUISITE product for mere pennies compared to its absurdly expensive competition. I have never seen such a contrast of value exist in a market of any kind in my whole life. Get it.

mwillis2217

Excellent for the price but it is not Naxos. There are some similarities sure and it’s an excellent scent but it’s not even in the same galaxy as Naxos.

NorthernCaveMan

Am I the only one who thinks it bears more than a striking resemblance to Joop Homme?

scentforaman

For the price, this is a banger. Also, it’s sticks around for a long while considering the price and it’s an EDT. No brainer if you like tobacco as the dominant note. It’s similar to pure havane but there are differences. No a perfect clone but it’s really nice for the price!

TjSmellsGood

I got this because I have the original Insurrection. The original insurrection is a bit sweeter, more powdery, fresher, and brighter. This is like the older brother to that scent. It's much more spicy than powdery, still sweet but not as sweet. I would say the vanilla shines through a bit more than the original insurrection, possibly because of the synergy with the other notes. It's got some chocolate in there, but it's kind of mixed in with the spiciness so I wouldn't call this a particularly chocolatey scent by any means. Tobacco is in there but similarly plays along with the spiciness and chocolate. Still, the vanilla is dominant. The sweetness comes from a richer honey note rather than a sugary or candy like source. Definitely an inoffensive scent, great for pretty much any time or weather other than scorching heat. Not an explosively loud scent nor one that lasts forever. Very reasonably priced and a great every day scent if you want something sweeter and spicier, but don't want the intimate and bold nature of scents with a boozier note (looking at you, Wanted by Night)

I saw a number of favorable reviews for Insurrection II Wild and decided to do a blind buy. Amazing scent, especially for the price point. This is a rich, sweet, tobacco fragrance that is a perfect part of a cool/cold weather rotation. I may even get a back-up bottle just in case.

Ughazanfar17

A very nice perfume , specially for winters . Please avoid wearing it in summers. Can be too overbearing in summers.

AdamC937

Insurrection II - Wild
If you were walking through the woods and came across a tobacco plant with a beehive above dripping honey down on it....boom you have Insurrection II Wild. This is an excellent sweet tobacco scent, that will have people wanting to know more. A pretty versatile fragrance for me. I would say it's ideal is cool fall weather, I have worn in the spring through the winter. If you have or had Havane, this is a wonderful alternative now. I would score 78/100. Longevity is impressive 7+ hours. Projection is also impressive definitely more than arm's length. Price : excellent value, pick it up when you find it.

Stephen N

I don't get much out of this fragrance beyond tobacco and spice notes, and I'm not much of a fan of the spice notes, but the tobacco in this... oh my word, it brought back memories.

My late grandfather was a member of the Lost Generation, born in the early 20th century. He was a farmer, and he loved to chew tobacco. But he didn't use commercially available chewing tobaccos like Skoal or Redman, he would go to a local co-op every year during the harvest season, and buy a box of freshly cured dark-fired tobacco leaves. He would then take these leaves and hang them up in his tool shed where they would age for a few years. Once they were aged to his liking, he'd take them down, twist them, and he'd have small pieces he'd keep on himself for his chew. I have no idea where he learned to do this, or HOW he figured this out. Your guess is as good as mine.

The tobacco note in this fragrance is what I remember from his tool shed; smoke-cured aged tobacco, and I love that about this fragrance. I wish the perfumer who made this a long, happy, and healthy life for creating this fragrance. ( ^◡^)っ ♡

WilliamTheLion

Yeah... it's delicious. Without question, the best blind buy I've ever made.

It's Sweet Pipe Tobacco (cherry), Honey, Vanilla and Spice - including its amazing, slightly "oudy" Honey note (probably helped by the Cacao) that elevates it into a living, breathing, sensuous Man-Frag! This stuff is outstanding imo - and most especially for the Price. Like... how about US$20 from your favorite discounter? Unbelievable! It easily performs in a weight class of $100.

And the ladies Love it!

When first sprayed on skin, I thought: "What?? Is there oud in this stuff?" There's a surprising stanky-ness to the honey - while the whole sensation explodes like a sweet tobacco-vanilla cherry-bomb on the back of your fist. Silage and projection are outstanding.

Now... I've also been sampling Naxos. Okay. This is the direction Wild is moving in. (I've never sampled Pure Havane.) LATER EDIT: Okay... it's far more a dupe of HEROD than Naxos, now that I've sampled Herod.

There's no question that Naxos is far richer (with better longevity), fortified with a big palette of Lavender, Jasmine, herbals and spice to support the main players, Tobacco and Honey. But at a fraction of the Naxos price, Wild does a great job of getting you into the cheap seats of this lovely tobacco, vanilla and honey-themed ballpark.

I'll even go this far: I actually PREFER Wild's cherry tobacco to the mild Naxos tobacco leaf - and Wild's slightly stinky honey accord is a sensuous, organic pleasure to enjoy, punching way beyond its measly price point.

Obviously, gorgeous Naxos competes in a league far beyond Wild - but the impressive little Wild still penetrates this niche from an unbeatable $20 perspective. THE BEST "Value for money" Men's frag on the market today (according to my bottle) - though it lacks some in longevity.

I’ve been trying it for two weeks, below the average i was expecting better scent and performance very week on my skin so I immediately go back to my naxos bottle

lullemans72

I find reviewers like blvckwater.co here below really uninformative. No mention of his batch code, no mention of HOW he actually measured longevity (did he ask others to smell him? Etc). Just reformulation claims without a shred of anecdotal evidence. Take his review with a grain of salt please. Or better yet, just dismiss it entirely.

blvckwater.co

*REFORMULATED*

Blind bought it cause I love tobacco fragrances and this one kept popping up in every video. Heard it had beastly performance but it doesn't seem to be the case anymore. Gorgeous smell, love it. But damn it's literally a skin scent after merely ONE hour.

Dean ja

I have 2 bottles from 2015 and the performance is beastly. 24 hours+, Smelled so much like PH that I sold my last PH bottle for more than what it cost since it is now discontinued. Buy this!

Smell Ya Later

This replaces Nautica Voyage in my collection as the best quality for the price. Highly recommend for anyone interested in a tobacco fragrance.

magnus.1

"Insurrection II Wild" is for us who loved Thierry Muglers "Pure Havane", now that it is discontinued.
This is almost identical to Pure Havane. Longivety and Sillage is also similar. Not great, but not to bad either.
There is one thing that differs between between them. Insurrection II Wild has a little less Honey, and is therefore a little less sweet. This gives room for a Cedar like note, that in comparison makes this one a little more pungent, and gives it a little more of a "classic masculine aftershave" vibe to it.
With that said, it is still an excellent substitute for Pure Havane.

Samuel Rousseau

There is something grandpa-ish in pure havane (not in a good way) that you won't find in insurrection II wild... To me insurrection is absolutely amazing, I love it.

For reference, polo green is grandpa-ish, but it's very good.

Máximo777

I own Insurrection II and Naxos. I'm impressed by insurrection II quality. While many times low price comes at a huge quality cost this is not the case here. Smooth base and high quality. Honey note in Naxos is another level but I would definitely say that this Insurrection II surprised me in the best possible way.

samuelpeterson

VALUE
For everyone for whom xerjoff naxos is over budget.

Splashyminion

This juice is just unbelievable. Not only does it capture the cheery tobacco vibe of Pure Havanne but because of tobacco and vanilla in the dry down, it's like TF Tobacco Vanille and spice bomb too. I also get a faint cherry smell too. Dry down also reminds me of Pure Malt too. Very linear and round. But incredibly comforting and smooth.

Not a performance beast as the community claim it to be but not a slouch either

levileviivelivel

I don’t know if I got a bad bottle or something, but this is no good. The opening smells like anise seed and I’m not a big fan of that black liquorice smell, and the dry down just smells like a cheap spicebomb clone. The performance and spillage are also terrible but again, maybe I got a bad bottle.

flekter

The price of this definitely does not reflect the quality of the juice. A very rich fragrance that is almost a carbon copy of Pure Havane. I love tobacco scents and this one does it wonderfully, not sure how Reyane Tradition managed to get such a good blend at this price point but it is pure sweet, woody and cozy tobacco. Love the notes of chocolate and cherry in the drydown. Let it sit on your skin for a while and it develops to a cozy, seductive skin scent. Perfect for winter nights when it feels like a scarf wrapping you and keeping you warm.

This would be the scent to wear in a speakeasy bar on a winter night. Charm in a bottle. Solid 9/10 for me.

SimplDude

If you like Mugler Pure Havane, you might want to check this one out. With a reasonable price point, you cant go wrong with this one in terms of quality, performance and projection. The affordability of this gem is the big bonus.

Ill give a 9/10 for this humble but wonderful frag ;)

Timo.D

This is really good stuff great quality especially considering the price this one goes for. Really good alternative to pure havane.

JupiterMoon

Sweet woody tobacco. Best in its drydown, where it gets stronger and has good longevity as a skin scent, giving a warm tobacco/chocolate/cherry/woods vibe. Best in winter. Can feel slightly synthetic (for the price) but great value for money. Comes in a great box. Has been compared to Naxos Xerjoff, but this is more masculine and heavy, while Naxos is lighter with citrus (and niche quality.) Good stuff.

entryfragger

Just Buy This.. Honey+Cherry+Tobacco . This smell reminds me of the cherry syrup which we use in india to prepare a drink in summer Time. Very Sweet, Pleasant, Addictive, Inviting, Seductive.. When i sniffed this at First Time , automatically smile came in my face, I was smiling continuously for 5 mins. That much i love this one!!! Just Get it before it gets out of stock or reformulated.

Gorilla

If you are interested in a tobacco, vanilla, honey scent with a dash of cherry...this is blind buy worthy. For gods sake, I got it for $20. Definitely will wear, just won't sit on shelf. And I'll pass on buying another Pure Havane, which is going for $200 on eBay. Just ridiculous, especially when you can buy this.

Trevore913

The value on this is crazy. Definitely smells like it costs more than $30. 9.5/10!

shula myth

I had to sit on this one for a few day before I determined how I feel about it... I used to smoke pipe tobacco fairly often, either out of a pipe or rolling my own cigarettes. Although I no longer consider myself a smoker, I absolutely love tobacco scents. I've been on the hunt for the perfect tobacco scent, and unfortunately have yet to find what I am looking for. I was interested in the listed notes of Pure Havane, and I heard this was a pretty good substitute. Ultimately I wish the cherry was a tad bit less front and center, and the vanilla came forward more. But I think that is just personal preference. The scent is very good and I find myself sniffing the points of spray throughout the day. The opening is very synthetic, so I definitely recommend giving it about ten minutes before subjecting others to it. The duration and quality is fantastic for the price. I will definitely be reaching for my bottle regularly in the near future, but will probably layer with another light vanilla fragrance to really round it out to my liking.

Although I haven't yet found the perfect tobacco scent, I will gladly add this in my rotation.

anthonycball

A warm, addictive, sweet, honeyed cherry that almost has a slight menthol feel to it. I have no idea what cherry pipe tobacco smells like, but if it smells anything like this then it must be amazing too?!?

Insurrection II Wild is the type of scent that makes you feel foolish for spending $100-$200 on other fragrances when there are $20 options like this out there that smell absolutely amazing! So good! What a find!

Really like this. For me, it evokes comforting, familiar memories.
Smoked a pipe for years and one of my favourite tobaccos was a Cherry Cavendish.

Wild smells very similar. The aroma immediately conjures associations of relaxation, reflection and contemplation. The tobacco note is rich, warm, and realistic - and allows me to revisit positive memories without the detrimental consequences of combustion and inhalation of actual tobacco.

The thing about smoking a pipe is that it always tastes better at the start, because tar accumulates on the unsmoked tobacco as you smoke and ruins the flavour towards the end, which is why I always preferred to smoke an antique opium pipe with a tiny bowl. At least Wild enables me to savour the memory of a Cherry Cavendish tobacco without the unpleasantness of cleaning a tar-encrusted pipe.

Overall, Wild reminds me of a specialty tobacconist or the intoxicating aroma of a freshly opened tin or pouch of a really nice tobacco.

This was a blind buy inspired by reviews on this page. One thing I love about Fragrantica is that after a while there are frequent flyers whose opinions I have come to trust - usually because they articulate something that resonates with me or corresponds to my own experience - and this leads me to value their judgement.

Wild seems to have above average longevity - not stellar but okay - and is versatile enough for any occasion, formal or informal, work or play, day or night. If you like tobacco fragrances it would be a very safe blind buy.

Thankfully I2 Wild is not overly sweet - it’s like a custom blend rather than a Swisher’s Sweets - the sweetness accentuates the richness of the tobacco note in much the same way as the saffron in the original Versace Man (not the Eau Fraiche, which is a totally different fragrance) accentuates the tobacco note in that.

The sadly discontinued Versace Man is probably my favourite tobacco fragrance (and which I prefer to Pure Havane) and Wild reminds me of it in the best way possible.

boreganic

I’ve only worn this about two times so far and I must say that it must be a scent you get used to with time. The first time I wore it I got nothing but a cough syrupy cherry, with the second time finally a bit of that tobacco coming through. I’m gonna be patient because I think that if it keeps trending in this direction I’m gonna love it but for now, it has my interest. I still keep smelling myself every 5 minutes out of curiosity and I do like it but it’s sweetness is consuming a bit of the tobacco feel. I’ve never smelled PH or Naxos unfortunately but I do love patchouli so it sucks to see this missing it. I can confirm it does last a good amount of time on skin and that it is still worth the money even if I am being quite observant on it instead of instantly in love. If you haven’t owned a tobacco fragrance I’d recommend you join the rest of us and start off with this one

liat

This is pure fun. Never sampled Pure Havane nor Naxos nor Shock, so for me it stands beautifully on its own feet. Some gentle tobacco and a little tingly spiciness is all I get. It's very long lasting and as time goes by the spices become more noticeable and the tobacco turns transparent. I do like it a lot.

Although described as sweet, Wild is not feminine nor is it purely masculine. Just a solid, friendly, inexpensive, warm, uplifting unisex frag.

Brother Wolf

MAY I HAVE YOUR ATTENTION, PLEASE. Most of us have been taught over the years that “Haste Makes Waste” and to “Be Patient.” Fortunately, the former is absolutely true and the latter will leave you pleasantly surprised when experiencing this fragrance. Do yourself a favor by not rushing to judgment during the initial phases of Insurrection II Wild. Treat it like a bottle of fine wine and allow it to breathe and settle. It will become a very interesting, inviting and quite pleasing aroma of black cherries, vanilla and a hint of tobacco. You have my word.

BEWARE: You will NEVER experience the true colors of this fragrance if you aren’t willing to wait for it. It’s EXTREMELY POWERFUL (especially on clothing) when first sprayed and can be off-putting if applied too heavily or in hot weather. So, be a smooth operator and spray it on (responsibly) during a cool winter or fall evening and just chill for a little while. It will soon arrive. When it does, it will not disappoint you…or the beautiful lady sitting across the table.

stjimmyjos

Perfect clone on Pure Havane. I like it more than PH, because it miss patchouli note and that A* DNA which it may turn some of you off. Long lasting cherry tobbaco note at opening with sweet honey and vanilla notes

RoBoT

The first thing I got from it, immediately after spraying it on the back of my hand, vasoline. Smells exactly like petroleum jelly. After about half of an hour it smells slightly better. I do pick up tobacco, but to compare it to Pure Havane or Naxos is just absurd. It smells like a $10 fragrance that I paid $25 for 🤷♂️

Bloomistry

I’m going to go against the consensus on this fragrance. Right now Reyane Tradition II Wild is rated at 4.49, which would put it in the upper echelons, alongside sone of the all-time greats. But it’s not great. Opens with harsh medicinal cough drops, and a decent tobacco note peaks out briefly, but within an hour it smells like the far dry-down of a million perfumes. Just a cheap powdery base note smell that is less offensive than it is boring. I ordered Insurrection II Dark by accident, and that one is just bad. So regrettably I have two of these Reyane fragrances. The label running along the side of the bottle was half peeled off when it arrived, which I only mention because people rave about the presentation as well, wrongly in my opinion. This is something Calvin Klein would make as a CK One Shock flanker, only CK One Shock is better (both quickly arrive at the same generic dry down smell though). I give this 3.78 and advise you to put your money elsewhere.

RedMint

Absolute banger for the price. A 4-star fragrance but for me the price kicks it up to 5-star. I recently received 10 samples of $150, $200, $300 + niche fragrances, and this little cheapie in the mail, and of all the fragrances I sampled, this one stood supreme over all but a couple of the lux samples. Seriously.

I can't compare this to any other scents (i.e. Pure Havane, Radical Brown, etc.) because I haven't tried those. Insurrection Wild is a pleasantly sweet cherry/honey top that dries down into a light, warm vanillic tobacco. It's got some staying power and a nice sillage. I'm especially a fan of the later stages of the drydown. That's where the tobacco really comes through, wrapped in that warm, light honey/vanilla/cherry. So I think it would work well as a date fragrance or a 'going out at night' fragrance, because it's expressive and pronounced early on, sweet and attention-grabbing, but later for bedtime, it's a sensual, masculine skin scent with a hint of sweetness. Very sexy.

For the price, it's a no-brainer.

If I want to oomph it up with some extra spices and richness, I go on top of it with Cremo's Spice and Black Vanilla. Wild is wonderful alone, I was just messing around and experimenting, but the combo of these two absurdly inexpensive frags combine to make something I could absolutely see myself paying $100+ for.

This is just sooo good in every way. The packaging and fragrance could be sold for so much more. This is a steal.

drifterix

Was a cheap buy to compare to other tobacco scents I have. It starts out quite synthetic at first but then quickly moves past that to a cherry pipe tobacco scent. And that's basically it for me. Although cherry is not listed in the notes, it has to be in there!

For me this comes across as leaning more towards unisex than just specifically a men's fragrance. Offered to a lady friend who gladly accepted, said she liked it and would wear it.

TexiCaliSlim

Y'all stop calling me TexiCaliSlim, with this newfound scent of the Gods of Fall & Winter weather I hereby anoint & appoint myself:
JohnnySwaggerDick King of the cheapies.
Buy it NOW this smells like Indiana Jones when he fills his off time being a professor in his tweed suit. Everyone before me accurately described how it smelled, thats what made me buy it. My job is to tell you how you'll feel.
You'll feel like you lied your way into a job interview you're horribly unqualified for but got the job & it holds so much prestige nobody has the balls to question you. Enjoy your new salary and benefits champ!

soderqp

Nice one, like walking into a cafe in Paris. Sweet tobacco, honey and vanilla.Longevity is pretty darn good,it lasts for 6+ hours on my skin. IMO this is very versatile and can be used for any occasion ,just one less spray if you use it in office. As a club fragrance it may not be the best as it doesnt have that super sharp/sexy chatacter. Still very happy with this blindbuy , for 25 usd its a steal.

Radical brown vs insurrection 2 wild

Price: I2w is a bit more expensive (+33%) here than Rb

Atomizer:
Normal for rb. I2w sprays bigger volume

Top notes/initial (00:00)
Very similar
Rb is more powdery and more subtle.
I2w is stronger and has more punch (i think it is the honey)

(00:15)
Still quite similar.
Rd's notes is more blended together but has less projection. You can smell the sweet tobacco. I think the powdery smell is sweeter than  i2w.
I2w is stronger. The tobacco is more pronounce and the honey has high presence.

(01:00)
Projection has reduced for both. They seem similar in scent and projection at this point.
Rb still smells a bit more linear (notes blend together) but has rougher edges.
I2w has softer edges.

(02:00)
Same as 01:00

(03:00)
I2w's projection is almost skin scent. Rb has better projection at this point

After this point, i had to take a quick shower. After which i can't really make out the i2w skin scent. Rb can still be detected by sniffing on the wrist closely

Summary:
I2w has stronger projection for the first 2 hours, has more depth (you can detect the different notes more, specially the tobacco and honey). Rb scents are more subtle, more powdery and more linear (? Notes blend together) but have sharper edges than i2w, a little sweeter, and have better longevity.

I like both scents but i wish they have better longevity and base note projection. I just bought my bottles so maybe they will improve in a month.

Extremely nice winter fragrance. Long lasting slightly sweet and masculine. Dont wear it in warm weather or people around you can get a headache.

Great value for money , blind buy worthy.

Hey- you are considering this one right? Reading reviews, you keep hearing about it, you're still not sure though...

Buy it, now. Don't read any more reviews, do not hesitate. Your money will not be wasted. If you even remotely like these notes, then you will love this fragrance.

Stop doing research. It's $25 and smells like $100. The smell is beautiful and high quality.

JUST BUY IT !!!!

codykyle68w

If you can't find Mugler Pure Havane, and can't afford Xerjoff Naxos, then this is the next best thing. A sweet honey-tobacco scent.

Ughazanfar17

Extremely nice , decent performing sweet fragrance quite masculine. Smells like a niche fragrance. Too cheap for the performance that it shows .

Scotty123

This is easily one of the best tobacco fragrances I’ve had the pleasure of owning. Warm spicy, cherry pipe tobacco. A gentleman’s fragrance no doubt. I get excellent performance with it as well. If you’re in the market for a beautifully crafted tobacco scent then you don’t have to look no further than this for real.

Detman101

No way, Are the notes on here correct?
I get nothing but "Cherry Tobacco" pipe tobacco from my bottle of this.
Reminds me of my dad's pipe tobacco from my childhood...

ameda

Can anyone find documentation from Reyane that Insurrection II Wild was ever meant to be a creation inspired by Mugler Pure Havane? On first sniff, it reminded me much more of Pure Tonka, which is perhaps less well known. That would explain the recessive tobacco note that some have complained about, as well as the dominating tonka. Side by side, the Mugler Tonka is stronger and the A*Men DNA more prominent, but on the whole remarkably like I2W. I'm not ready to pull the trigger on a $250 bottle of Pure Tonka from a questionable reseller, but I'm more than pleased to pick up two bottles of this very similar scent for less than $40. And yes, Mugler Pure line (and some Xerjoff) fragrances do give a faintly mentholated vanilla experience reminiscent of Carmex.

NoDakBiZon

Does anyone else think this smells like Carmex LipBalm??

EMSFraghead

As a fan of a nice pipe tobacco note I find this one stellar! If you've never smelled fresh grinded cherry pipe tobacco you may not get the smell at first. It isn't a super cigarette or cigar like tobacco like you may find in other fragrances. It's of a sweeter variety, and with the honey and cocoa backing I pick up it all blends amazingly together! It smells similar to pipe tobacco without leaning too far into the dirty side as to where it smells like you've been lighting up, but more so that you want to enjoy the scent. I really don't care what anyone says about this one, I love it so much and I will recommend it to anyone who thinks sweet tobacco is wonderful. It smells very close to pure havanne too!

raj.kanaj

I think the reviewer below pretty much nailed it, it’s almost sickly sweet. Cherry vanilla. Hardly any tobacco.
Save your money for something better blended like the original spice bomb (or Burberry London - which is really nice but no performance.)

Hlynsky

All I get is a headache of intoxicating vanilla. I was extreamly disappointed that my nose doesn’t like this at all. Not saying it’s bad. Just not for me.

HallOfFamer1st

A truely hidden gem, i have to say . In the Opening we have Cherry and spicy notes feeling a liitle bit chemistry here. But after 5-10 minutes, it fade away then the combo Tobacco + Vani + Honey appear. Damn good blend. But it's not a beast mode fragrance. It's just a elegant, gourmand, sweet, smooth and sexy perfume. Longevity is very good, i have 8h+ in my clothes, projection 2 to 2.5h. Presentation is amazing, nice bottle, great value. What are you waiting for??

Ethan_Hawley

Tobacco note is pretty much non existent. Opening is very much a medicinal cherry smell and the dry down is just a less off putting version of the opening. It’s a $20 fragrance that smells like a $10 fragrance. I don’t get the hype at all on this one. I can’t envision a time/place where I actually choose this over anything else in my collection, this was a blind buy for me so I accept the consequences.

Chasen71

Very basic/smooth tobacco scent that has potential, an immediate dark spicey accord in the opening with honey hidden inside. Dries down nicely to a vanilla wood and the tonka bean supports some sweetness that is wordly familiar. Great for beginners or guys who don't want to spend alot, worth every penny for $25! Great for cold weather months very cozy and warm.

8/10 -- overall just because it's good but not great, has nice projection but bad longevity, round but still cheap and synthetic. If you like this though, you can step into a world of niche spicey tobacco frangrances without any hesitation.

DLF

I blind bought this because of all the great reviews. I was looking for a more coffee based cologne. This smells good, but not what I was expecting. This reminds me of the original Joop, but not as strong.

eau de cocoa butter

I bought Pure Havane (PH) as a gift and that failed unfortunately. I was dumbfounded because the scent was one of the most gorgeous tobacco scents I'd ever smelled (and probably one of the first). Granted, both of us were used to fresh male scents and Pure Havane was anything but. I was so drawn in by the uniqueness of Pure Havane that I kept it for myself. :-) This has paid off, people love to smell it on me! Imagine!

Recently, I noticed my bottle getting low and was looking to buy a backup bottle. Lo and behold, PH has been discontinued but then I heard about Insurrection II Wild. I was scared it would be a vague interpretation of my beloved but no! I was instantly transported right back to the heat of the Caribbean and the sticky sweet tobacco reigned King of my nose. I sprayed PH and Insurrection side-by-side and could not tell the difference. I will say Insurrection is slightly softer but it still smells amazing.

Ladies, if you haven't tried this what are you waiting for? It's a compliment magnet!!

CoachSutton

Great cherry tobacco scent! Strong performance. Very nice dry down. Great value as well. Only negative thing I can say is that the opening has a bit of a cherry cough medicine vibe going on, but that dissolves after a couple of minutes. Overall great buy!
