- Now, I wear the extrait version of this bottle which slaps you around the noggin', mostly on the leather front. -

Simple but delicious.
This is my youth in a bottle. The wild, rebellious and leather wearing kind that flipst the world off and refuses to grow up in all senses.

It's deliciously sweet but not cloying, and it has the most comforting leather. I want to eat it.
I personally don't pick up on any synthetics here. Truly a winner in the cherry compartment.

Tom Ford, who?

french_cherry_pone

As much as I adore this perfume and its cherry note, the burnt rubber note is a tad too strong to me. Doesn't not make it my signature though, I adore it !

tanushiable

Nice, but extremely week. I will pass the full bottle.

Vicky90

This fragrance did not smell like I expected it would! It's got a dusty/hazy quality to it which reminds me of incense. Probably the iris and the patchouli? I like it!

Kelle23

This smells really similar to Lost Cherry. It's missing just a little bit of the depth of LC, but for the price point, I love it. This is a great summer into fall fragrance...I'll layer it with more candy sweet and syrupy scents this summer and musk/sandalwood elements this fall!

Imortelle Yo Mama

Anybody that hasn't purchased this due to lack of cherry. The extrait does indeed hold more cherry, longer. I have both the EDP and extrait, 100 ml. The extrait is more feminine friendly, it doesn't have as much of the leather punk rock vibe, but it still retains that at its core, it just has more cherry to soften the whole experience.

skellyjelly

I loved this fragrance, but the notes weren't in the order I was expecting. I got a strong blast of smoke and leather, which I loved because it was very bold and intoxicating. Then, in the middle, I smelled some patchouli, vanilla, spice, and the smallest hint of cherry in the back. The smokey, smooth spice of vanilla was an amazing combination. then I finally smelt that bueatfuil realistic tart cherry. The base of this fragrance for me was that bueatfuil smokey pepper and patchouli, with a strong supporting tart cherry in the background. loved this combination. Overall, I really liked this fragrance; it had such a unique and intoxicating smell. Overall, a 9/10 the sillage and longevity are great.

Bought a sample after I had tried Tom Ford's Cherry Smoke in a duty free shop at the airport. This one is waaay to leathery/smokey, in a bad way, and too little cherry. I threw the sample away because I can't stand this smell.

mg209

Should be a go to for masc lesbians in the fall and winter. I wear it every night I go out in the fall and my girlfriend loves it. It’s the fragrance I get the most compliments on

oddsoy

i really wish the cherry note lasted longer (lasts about 2-5 minutes on me). its sweet and syrupy, like a homemade cherry syrup. dry down is a powdery, sweet black leather that's smooth and luxurious. i wish the other notes were more prominent, like the tonka or sichuan pepper, but i mainly get cherry in the opening and leather, saffron, and violet in the drydown.
ive had the same tester for over a year and it's taken me until recently to really enjoy this scent, so if you're not enjoying this scent keep it for a while and see if you like it after leaving it for a while!

nadialucia

This is Grittis Duchessa after 40 pack-years and plastic surgery, heavy scent, sexy only for smokers, unisex

madbunny

Opens up cherry heavy but it fades away quickly. After 5-10 minutes it becomes a leather fragrance with a sweetness and slightly powdery base. Very moderate performance, would expect more for the price. Definitely unisex according to me.

mutate

First of all I absolutely love the smell of this and the extrait version. I'm completely baffled by the longevity and sillage ratings though. Both versions are extremely weak!

ilska22

i don't mean to offend anyone who loves this, but to me this smells like a smoker in a leather jacket who sprays on too much cherry perfume, thinking no one tell they are a smoker, but they still smell like a dirty ash tray. it's a pass for me

feuermaiden

Truly one of the best leather scents out there. This perfume feels very “me” - it screams worn leather jacket and rock & roll without being dirty or skanky. It’s only sweetened slightly by the cherry and not overtaken by it. Not a medicinal cherry for sure which is where a lot of cherry scents tend to go for me, but Cherry Punk changed the game! I can also smell a little of that sparkly saffron in the top. Overall a beautiful take on cherry that leaves me wanting to sniff my arm all day!

I will definitely be buying the full size when summer is over!!

EmberFloofs

I absolutely adore this perfume and I don't really think there's anything else like it out there. I'm extremely confused by all of the comparisons to Tom Ford's Lost Cherry, given that almost the only note they have in common is cherry.

To get it out of the way: I don't think I'd describe this scent as cherry-centric. As much as cherry is a key note in the structure of the fragrance, it shares the stage with a dark, photorealistic leather note. I'd describe it as a very well cared-for black leather jacket. If you've ever been in a leather shop, you'll know what I'm talking about. You can almost feel the ultra-smooth grain under your fingertips here. The leather note is contrasted by a bright, sweet cherry note which brings a burst of sweetness to the fragrance and helps soften it out. It's definitely a candied kind of cherry, think closer to maraschino cherries than a fresh cherry.

Most of the other notes aren't particularly detectable to my nose. The Sichuan peppercorn adds a gentle spiciness which helps back up the leather and add contrast to the sweet cherry while the floral notes and tonka add a little extra sweetness without making this a "floral" perfume at all.

Overall, this is an incredibly well-constructed fragrance which isn't afraid to confidently do its own thing. While I love this, I agree that it isn't really a safe blind buy. You should really get a sample to make sure you enjoy what this fragrance is doing. The performance and longevity are pretty respectable, but I wouldn't call this a "beast mode" scent by any means. I'd say you get pretty decent performance for the price you pay here and I find that the price is fair for the artistry in this. The DNA is pretty solidly unisex in my opinion, but some may find it ever so slightly feminine leaning due to the cherry note and gentle sweetness.

dmitryrey

This is so good. I love lost cherry and I have used it quite a lot but I can not justify the price of 300 euros for 50ml of a designer scent. I decided to try this one and I have to say. I love it even more. This is VERY much a cherry on me. With some leather (maybe I am not too familiar with how a leather is supposed to smell) but to me this is perfect. It is not too sweet, cherry stays there for a long time. Will definitely be buying a full bottle in the autumn/ winter season

arieschick44

Without the leather, this would have been an amazing scent. I love the cherry scent, but the leather is too strong and that's the ok rating. The leather smells kind of mediciny in my opinion. I would not invest in a full bottle of this!

rubycathryn

I'm a diehard Lost Cherry lover, but was looking for something I could use more frequently (TF is just too pricy and nighttime-leaning to justify wearing to work) and this has really fit the bill. Juicy, realistic cherry (little bit brighter than TF), with just enough smoke and leather to prevent it from leaning into candy territory. Surprisingly fresh, this goes day or night for me. Moderate, inoffensive sillage. All-seasons, not as rock and roll as other reviewers have found it - this doesn't scream 'club' or even 'punk', but it does compliment them.

kay_bye

Leather leather leather. Got a sample of this that had a lovely cherry in the bottle but turned straight to a very potent leather on my skin. And not a sweet leather - a very dark, masculine, authentic leather. It isn't unpleasant, it's a very realistic and sexy leather fragrance that I would probably find very appealing on somebody else, but for fruity fragrance lovers expecting a great cherry it will probably be disappointing. This totally filled the room for me and still lingered after scrubbing, so if you want everyone within 50 feet of you to get the overwhelming olfactory vision of a brand-new leather car seat, this is your fragrance.

Roseamonglilies

I would agree with others who say the cherry isn't very pronounced. I've heard the extrait version is much heavier on cherry, so i wanna try that next. I would say that you could wear this smell year-round if you wanted, but the temperature would affect notes differently. It's summer and warm enough to sweat, and right now I would say the smoke and leather come out more than the cherry. In the fall and winter though, I would guess that the more delicate cherry notes would show up a lot better.

I also noticed it didn't really last as long when I sprayed it on my wrists. Putting it in the inside of my elbows, however, seems to be the best place. I don't know if that's a me thing or if it's this perfume. I sprayed it maybe 3 hours ago, and it's still going strong. It sort of wraps around me, like calmly radiates. I think others would be able to smell it if they were sitting around me but not otherwise.

When I first sprayed it, I got a sharp whiff of cherry, but it's very faint on actual skin after a couple minutes. It's very leathery and smoky, and the smokey aspects are almost kind of powdery and thick. The leather blends with the cherry and makes it a little sweeter, but this is definitely something more unisex. There are the tiniest hints of some florals that mix with the smoke. I think that's why its powdery to me. There's also a peppery smell through the middle of it that allows for more masculine tones. I would definitely wear this if I went out in public for a girl's night or a date that led to something else. I think it might be too smokey for

It gives me three visuals:
A guy polishing leather dress shoes with a cherry-scented polish and a cigar hanging from his mouth.
A woman drinking a Shirley temple in a bar where people are smoking nearby
Sniffing a guy's chest through his half-unbuttoned shirt in a nightclub as we're dancing in a sweaty crowd.

perfume_lover7788

This perfume smells like an underground rave. It opens with a deep, rich burst of cherry and leather. The leather is smoky and a bit peppery, which blends nicely with the sweet burst of cherry. The opening is reminiscent of city streets on a Saturday night-- cars revving past and pretty girls in leather jackets headed out to the club. The projection in the opening is very strong and lasts around 1 - 2 hours.

The Sichuan pepper starts to dominate as the perfume begins to dry down, and a hint of sweetness starts to come through. The jasmine isn't very prevalent but the mimosa and the violet definitely is. It eventually dries down into a sweet smell with a hint of leather, that lingers for a while.

The cherry and leather is in the beginning and you'd probably prefer the extrait version if you want the cherry/leather smell to last longer. Overall, a really great perfume. It just smells hot.

Lothere55

Just received my sample in the mail, I took it straight out of the package and immediately applied. Y'all... this one is a banger. Definitely outside of my musk/amber/sandalwood/vanilla safe zone!

On first spray, you immediately get that luscious cherry; sweet but not overbearing or medicinal, and a gentle bloom of pepper and florals, before the leather grabs you by the throat. Quite thrilling! As it dries down, the cherry and leather soften and meld, blending with the tonka bean, spices, and florals as patchouli does a little dance behind a sheer curtain. A fine, aromatic smoke lays over the scene.

This is not your super-sweet, girly cherry (nor does it smell like cigarettes to me). It's sexy, unexpected and aloof. The woman who wears this rides a motorcycle and could hustle you in poker. Men fear her, women want her, babies have no opinion.

I'll be honest, this gal is pricey. But she is by far my favorite cherry when I compare to the offerings of The 7 Virtues, Kayali, and even Tom Ford. I think a full bottle could last a long time, as I don't see this as an "everyday" fragrance (far too suggestive for the office, imo, but you could get away with it in a more creative or adventurous field), and it's strong enough that you don't need to use a lot, maybe 3 sprays per application. I'll be savoring my sample and filing this saucy little number as a potential go-to "going out" fragrance.

spectrral

an incredibly leathery and smokey open with just a small hint of candied cherry if smelt up close, but a surprising amount if smelled from afar. as its sat for about half an hour, its become a sweet and very slightly spicy cherry with a bit of vanilla and leather, backed up by a chorus of florals. as its faded even further, i would say something of an hour-ish, its evolved in to a sweeter and photorealistic cherry with a very warm and comforting spice and vanilla-y leather at it's base, the florals not entirely gone but not easily detectable.

embuggle

After trying both the EDP and extrait versions, I think I prefer the extrait. The leather is much more pronounced in this than with the extrait. It's smoky, to the point of smelling a little like cigarettes in the beginning. The cherry is getting a bit overwhelmed here to my nose, but I do get more cherry in the drydown. Both versions both smell incredible, though.

sugarcaneswitch

i really wanted to love this, but i feel like it pulls to masculine on me. i'm still looking for something to layer this with but honestly i might just give it away to someone, wish i didn't buy the 100ml

stephanie1995

This was waaayyyy too leathery for me, and this leans more masculine because of it. The cherry only lasts for a few mins on the first sprays which is lovely, and I know its so hard to find a cherry that sticks. However once it settles in, that leather dominates everything. Was definitely not a safe blind buy and do NOT recommend it if you're curious about this fragrance and are unsure if leather perfumes are for you. Had to sell this one on pretty soon after receiving it sadly.

cinnabarisland

It smells like an extrait de open casket

antfarm

This is an enjoyable fragrance that smells luxe, well-executed, and familiar. I say familiar because the cherry note in this smells exactly like the wrapper on a box of Ludens cherry cough drops, or the wrapping around a box of cherry cordials. It's not sweet though. More product-esque, like cellophane+cherry flavoring. It makes me imagine shopping at the drug store and walking past the candy and medicine aisles. The leather accord in this is more rubbery with my skin chemistry. It smells like a tractor supply store, or a tire shop/car mechanic. I admire Cherry Punk because it is so well-composed that it doesn't even smell like a perfume. It smells like the aftereffects of running errands to buy cherry cough drops and getting an oil change.

sidesalad

Is cherry the scent of a men's urinal? I have no idea, but I do know that this is the best cherry scent around.

liquideggwhite

finally found my cool girl cherry fragrance. its not too sweet but you do get the cherry, but it's neutralized with the leather.

EveRose22

I'll start off by saying that yes, this does wear very similar to the Xerjoff Italica that I already own as they both have a very strong cherry scent (that's how most almond notes read for me) but where Italica is a deeper, warm, holiday sweets by a cozy fire type Cherry Punk is a brighter, sweeter, cherry limeade by the pool on a hot summer day experience for me. I would not consider this a daily wearer but on the right occasion I'm glad to have this to reach for.

noneya88

Yup it smells like cherry leather. Surprisingly light though. Not my style but I i like that it isn't too much.

-Specs-

First of all this fragrance is completely different from Tom Ford lost cherry. Now that we have that out of the way… Cherry punk is very great. Imagine a boozy cherry such as high end cocktail cherrys (not the cheap florescent red kind) and a vintage well worn leather jacket. I love it. Can be worn by a man or a woman.

myszabella

I hope they never stop making these. My signature scent. I'm a cherry notes addict, and this one is my favorite. Day or night, work or party, it follows me like my own shadow.

It's leathery, CHERRY, fresh but spicy, witty, playful. This one Gemini friend that's a bit annoying and a bit too loud, but the team is incomplete without them.

fumongous

Sampled this one and it was a disappointment for me. I smelled cherry for 3 seconds and then nothing but smoke.
Really interesting that most people think this is sweet. None of that for me. Obviously my skin chemistry refuses to bring that out!

temporalgrace

More punk than cherry. The leather outruns the cherry after the first couple of minutes. Smells like cherry lotion and cigarette smoke on a black leather jacket, in a nice kind of way. Not something I really see myself wearing, but it's fun to sniff.

toushiroumimi

Best Cherry fragrance hands down… it doesn’t smell like cough syrup 😍😍😍

digitalgirl

Was soo excited to try this but I was left disappointed. For the first few seconds the smell reminded me of maraschino cherries but then it quickly gets very leathery with a bit of sweetness. VERY strong leather scent that overpowers the cherry. Definitely more suitable for the male audience at least I couldn’t see myself wearing this as it is too masculine for me. The dry down reminds me of the typical vanilla and tonka bean combination

kitcat99

Delicious. I didn’t think I’d like cherry as I had sampled Tom Fords and it wasn’t for me. This, however, has more of a sexy and sophisticated performance. Cherry notes come off strong at first but then settles down into a nice cherry, leathery scent.

BadMongoose

Be careful, its beast mode. My nail tech said “youre wearing niche now, right?” But didnt say she likes or dislikes it. Massive projection. Boyfriend thinks its too masculine. I like the Cherry liquoer vibe, but you have to be in a daring mood to wear it, because of the leather note.

ratigail

love that with this one, what you see is exactly what you get: strong cherry and strong leather. the cherry is sweet, like artificial candy flavoring (think Cherry Coke), and the leather gives it a kind of Robitussin twang (that, for the record, I don't hate). dries down to something both heavy and sweet, spicy where it tickles your nose but floral to smooth it down. a bit too strong for everyday wear for me, but really good for a night out at a smoky bar or a concert.

Dawnya7b

I love cherries in perfume and I love leather and suede. I have many cherry fragrances and suede and leather scents too. I’ve been wanting this for forever. I even started mixing my lost cherry and ombré leather together because I wanted a cherry and leather scent.

I can barely smell the cherry in this. All I smell is screechy rugged and smoky leather. This honestly reminds me of a leather shoe, not leather jacked or purse but a big ugly black leather shoe that was on fire and the only thing around to put it out with was cherry scented water. Thank god I only bought a 10 ml- big fat no! Also this is masculine, if any man can get past the big burning lather shoe smell.

fragrantkilljoy

I finally found my new signature scent!

I've been looking for that perfect fragrance for years now... I wanted something juicy... fruity... yet dark, mysterious, leathery, incensy... almost boozy but not too much... kind of mature but still youthful, flirty but not "sleazy" (I really don't mean this in a derogatory way!). something punk, to be exact. and for some reason I actually wanted a cherry scent, although I never been a big fan of cherry flavored or scented things. one day though the thought just crossed my mind because I was fed up from every fragrance having zesty lemons or mandarins in them and I though "a cherry fragrance would be cool".

and then I spent what felt like an eternity looking for what I had dreamt up in my head... and I almost gave up. because there actually aren't many cherry fragrances to begin with and on top of that leathery and incense notes apparently aren't too popular either (at least with women's fragrances)... it also doesn't help that I really hate patchouli on my skin (turns really gross almost all of the time).

but then... I stumbled over Cherry Punk. From what I read about it it hit all the right spots... except for the patchouli in it. But the reviews mentioned basically everything I was looking for so... I looked it up in stores... but the only option was to import it because it isn't sold where I'm at... I had to blind buy it.

I tested Tom Ford's Lost Cherry first because people said it's a good dupe for Cherry Punk, except that it's missing the depth, warmth and the leather and incense notes. I kinda liked it. But it is extremely... plasticky? And gosh, so so sweet. But I figured I liked it enough to go for it and risk a blind buy.

And OMG it was the best decision ever!

Cherry Punk is SO SO GOOD! It's everything I wanted! It's cozy (but not too much), it's slightly boozy, leathery (not too much on my skin), incensy, youthful, a bit flirty, fruity, sweet (but not sickly)... It's just marvelous. Also, you can't really detect the patchouli in it, at least I can't and that says a lot because, as I said, my skin really really hates patchouli normally!

BTW: It does remind me of TF Lost Cherry a bit, but not too much - to be honest I think the only thing they really have in common is that they're both a cherry scent but that's about it. Lost Cherry is really a linear sweet cherry scent that doesn't evolve much (at least on my skin) while Cherry Punk has a lot of different layers, detectable notes and stages to it. So I honestly wouldn't even say that it was a safe blind buy - if you like Lost Cherry it surely doesn't mean you'll like Cherry Punk!

The only downside for me is that it's pretty much a skin scent after a few hours and I don't get as much wear out of it as others on here say they do - but maybe that's because it's a really cold and dry winter where I'm at. I'll see how that changes once the weather gets warmer.

Anyway, especially for the price, this is an awesome, beautiful fragrance and I think it'll be my signature for a long long time!

marietangerine

This is definitely unique. It’s a bright cherry with a touch of spiciness (like distant cigar burning) and black leather punk/biker jacket. I imagine a 30yr old groupie for Hell’s Angels 😆

Moderate projection and longevity. Best in cold weather.

eusterie

my absolute favorite cherry scent! not overly sweet and the leather just makes you feel like a bad ass. Big femme fatale vibes i love it!

dinkleheit

Upon first spray I got cherry but as it settled on my skin the leather came through. This is one of the most unique fragrances I have ever smelled. It kind of smells like a woman's leather purse with makeup inside of it. Bad bitch fragrance, for sure.

Oskispeter

Great scent. Cherry opening makes it almond smelling. The leather base makes it a unique cherry fragrance. If you like this type of scent try Sora Dora Mandorle.

The Cherry Punk lasts forever. Now Room 1015 has started to sell this in 50 ml as well.

Does not smell anything like Lost Cherry by TF that some people think it does.

Scent 9/10
Sillage 7/10
Longevity 8/10

perfumesmella6

my favourite perfume to this day! i resonate with every note in the fragrance. i love the cherry opening and how it ends on the saffron and leather. it is the perfect balance

emilia123

This scent has the fasted progression from top to base notes I've seen in a scent so far. It starts with a strong blast of syrupy cherry for about five minutes before settling into nothing more than the scent of my parents' leather couch. I really wish the cherry stuck around for longer; I'm at a point where I don't completely avoid leather, but I've realized that I need a good mix of softer and sweeter notes with it to truly appeal to me (which this scent lacks in the drydown).

UncleJoe

An act in two parts:

The spicy/cherry opening is a lot of fun, but for me it's gone in 20 minutes. What's left is a muddled and faint dry-down that smells depressingly generic. The middle is completely missing on my skin, although I had the same issue with Smoke Show, so perhaps this is simply a disagreement between Mr. Epinette and myself.
It's simply "ok" on my skin, but oh how I wish the opening could last!

kaitlinag

This starts with a very sharp and strong waxy leather scent - like you're in a southwestern furniture store that's heavily leather couch based and they just cleaned the place. Tbh even when it mellows out it still smells like that but it's a lot sweeter and warmer (still p synthetic/plasticky tho). Like a candle is being burned or they have those little fragrance oil stick things out. I wouldn't say this gives a punk feel. To meeee it's giving upper middle class Texan who lives on a ranch for the tax breaks - and bc they like horses I guess. LOL. I've been in a few country stores that smell like this as well. Anyway, it's not bad just not what I expected at all.

Teddyheath

This is Cherry + Babycat from YSL. The saffron and synthetic fabric smell is prominent here. In Babycat, the star is the vanilla mixed with suede and saffron. Cherry Punk is Cherry mixed with leather and saffron. You can smell the distinct cherry here throughout though.

As it dries down, the tonka's bitterness comes through along with some smokiness probably through the patchouli. If I didnt have Babycat, I would definitely get this one.

Vetchling

This is a hot girl scent. At first spray, I got maraschino cherries and car wax, but it mellows into a sharp cherry smoothed out by light leather, and the pepper gives it a nice edge. The cherry projects for a loooong time, while the leather stays close to the skin. Ultimately it ended up smelling a bit too generic fruity for me (fruit generally isn't my vibe), and the unrelenting sweetness made me nauseous about 6 hours in. I still liked this and think it's fun to smell, even if I won't be wearing it.

Hextane

This is almost sickeningly sweet. It definitely smells like cherry, but it’s too strong. The cherry overwhelms the perfume and you can’t detect the other notes. Maybe a very faint leather when it dries down, but that’s it.

hanginglimbs

All the people saying this smells like Lost Cherry - what is wrong with your nose?

viewDidAppear

I bought the Extrait de Parfum of this and I love it way more than the sample bottle of Eau de Parfum I had prior. It’s definitely a more masculine version of TF’s Lost Cherry.

I love it. I prefer this fragrance in colder weather, and when it’s very dry outside.

I was bombarded with the cherry notes at first and it semi-quickly dries down to the subtle cherry/smoke/leather scent that stays for ages.

Great sillage for this one too.

Project Nostalgia

Upon first spray you get an instant hit of sour cherry mixed with pepper. It dies down pretty quickly, I'd say 5 minutes later those "screechier" notes dissipate and the fragrance develops into a smooth, creamy cherry and leather-dominant scent.

To my nose, this is very similar to TF Lost Cherry. I've not owned LC so haven't done a proper comparison, but I have smelled it in stores and also on a colleague. If you want a similar effect for less £££ I think this is a great alternative.

It has great staying power, I could still smell it on clothes the day after a night out.

I imagine this will appeal to a more edgier crowd... probably late 20's to 30's. Obviously fragrance is ageless - wear what you want! But this is just how I imagine the wearer of this scent :)

Rangel7

Cherry Punk, they said. A wild mix of notes that sounded like a sweet symphony. Everyone was raving about it, so I thought, 'This is it, my cherry dream!'

[Pause for dramatic effect]

But then I sprayed it, and oh boy, it hit me like a freight train filled with disinfectant. Not just any disinfectant, mind you, but Creolin, the one they use in chicken coops and dog kennels!

I scoured my olfactory senses for a hint of cherry, but it was like searching for a needle in a haystack on the wrong farm. No cherries in sight, just an onslaught of something chemical and, dare I say, pungent, probably the leather.

It clung to my skin like a determined ex, refusing to let go. Longevity? Cherry Punk had it in spades, adding insult to injury.

So, there you have it. I gave it my best, but Cherry Punk and I, we're not gonna be besties. Not all perfumes are a hit, but hey, at least it provided some comedic relief in my fragrance journey.

Clauder13

A masculine version of Lost Cherry with a dominant leather note.

ajmmiller

I had such high hopes for this one as i'm a huge fan of cherry, but the leather note is totally sickly! I'm not usually too picky or critical with my fragrance but this smells like a car repair shop to me! The cherry is giving cherry car freshener and the leather is giving rubber.

At first spray on a test strip, I really liked this. But on my skin, I find it a bit sickening. The sweet cherry leather makes me nauseated, and I'm not one to be sickened by perfumes very often. I'll likely use the remainder of my sample as a room spray instead.

Eglegil

One of the best cherry fragrances I've ever smelled/had. It does not smell plasticky or artificial. It's ripe cherry with smooth smoke and leather company. The pepper and saffron go really well in this scent and the touch of violet makes it a very sexy, feminine dark smokey cherry fragrance.

Medium projection lasts about 6 hours on my skin. Price is also good for such kind of scent in my opinion :)

pilotdc

Hmm. I like the drydown with the sweet tonka complimenting the leather. The opening I'm kinda on the fence about. I like the cherry note, but something kinda smells like the remnants of cigarette smoke on clothing/leather. So I picture this fragrance for wearing to dive bars, biker hangouts, and underground clubs. With that association I don't see it as a frag for me. I think it will be for a niche market, which was probably the goal of it, considering the name. If you're an edgy person, def sample this for yourself.

Esna

Tom Ford Lost Cherry for a smokey Cherry coke-float in Jag type E car in formal wear and Cherry Punk for a spicy cherry lollipop, super shiny glossy leathery Cat Woman body suit that makes noise every time she moves. Both very nice, loved.

pancakecat

when i first got this perfume, the opening scent had a very strong sour medical smell to me. it has grown on me overtime, and as it dries down it has a much more appealing dark scent.

ina.rem

Cherry Punk boasts a unique piquancy, blending the sweetness of cherries with the boldness of leather. It shares the sweetness of Lost Cherry by Tom Ford but adds a mischievous twist. This fragrance pairs perfectly with a black leather jacket.

catonmars

I absolutely love this perfume; it seems like I found my signature scent for this season. I get compliments every time I wear this out. It is very crowd-pleasing.

spiderleenie

Back in the day, I owned Escada Cherries in the Air, which was a really fun and cute fragrance. To this day, I still distinctly remember how it smells. It was a very candied cherry-- almost like Twizzlers, or something.

To my nose, Cherry Punk smells exactly like Cherries in the Air ... But with leather. It's fun. It's sweet with a little edge to it. I think that this would be perfect as a nighttime/clubbing fragrance for 20-something women. As a 30-something woman, I wouldn't say that I would wear this out ... But it's fun to wear around the house or in a really casual setting.

I also think that I bought this fragrance at the right time. I think that this is a great scent for Halloween.

smile4thecamera

Cherry Punk is a fun fragrance and this is the perfect time of the year to wear it. CP opened up on me with a big blast of sweet leather, and it mostly stayed that way for hours until finally drying down to smokey sweetness. My skin amplifies leather so it was very strong on me. I wish the designer would have added more cherry and less leather, but I also couldn't quit sniffing my arm all day either. Not sure I'd buy a full bottle of this because it's typically hot where I live and this just wouldn't get worn enough, however I will enjoy my decant and look for another.

sofiasofiasofia

Smells exactly like Tom Fords Lost Cherry if it had a super strong leather note & was a bit smokier!

miarose

Oh my, I think I'm in love with this one. I'm trying a sample, and it hit me just right. I'm a huge fan of cherry scents, but of the darker variety. TF Lost Cherry is good, but I can't get over the price tag or the name (yeah, yeah, TF provocative BS). I have a number of sweeter, cherry almond scents, but the darker cherry+more has been an obsession. I have the Dossier "dupe" (love it), Cherries of the Night by Alkemia (super love), but this one is super cherry leather and smoke, but a nice light smoke that isn't overpowering. It's actually more powder than smoke, which is great for me. This one is full-bottle worthy for me, so I think I will get this soon.

Edit: Got my bottle in the mail. I splurged on it. So much better a deal for 100 mL than nearly $600. First spray was amazing, as I was able to get a proper full spray rather than the little bit from the sample. I can't stop sniffing my arm where I spritzed! I need to get a sample of the extrait to see if it's any different. At the price point, I might even get that one. I'm going to wear out my cherry scents this fall. I knew I loved cherry scents, but they were never quite like these more recent offerings.

cyclone1391

The cherry note in this is similar to TF Lost Cherry but that's where the similarity ends. This is much more masculine than TF IMO and that leather is strong. Literally like a leather jacket that got TF sprayed on it. The lack of rum and Peru balsam is also noticeable which differentiates this from TF for me as well.

Eyisa

How do we get this fragrance easily in the UK?

ms_sarah1484

After the first 30 minutes of the leather being upfront, this becomes a cherry bomb on my skin. Then the leather goes to the background and the juicy cherry comes to the forefront and stays for the life of the fragrance. This has great longevity. It’s what I wanted TF Cherry Smoking to be. I get this for less than half the price.

jmarie92

Sexy, edgy fun! This is grown up cherry done RIGHT (I’m looking at you, TF)!

It nails the cherry note without coming across juvenile or synthetic, like the lip smackers chapstick from the early 2000s. The leather and Sichuan pepper lend in giving this that edgy feel and live up to the “punk” in Cherry Punk.

What a gorgeously crafted scent this is! I definitely see myself wearing this aloooot more come the fall/winter months.

Zevota

Am I crazy, or it smells like…tar? I do feel the cherry and it’s really nice, but at least in the beginning I get this strong scent of an old wooden building with walls covered in tar.

Maya lilac

Tom Ford beware!!! Room 1015 is after your Lost Cherry. And it might be winning lots of your clients hearts with Cherry Punk. It’s a great composition, more complex and seems to be a smidge longer lasting.

First time trying this brand and I am loving it. Cherry Punk is the edgier version of TF Lost Cherry, the reviews are right!

Cherry Punk is a delicious, dark, maraschino cherry mixed with sweet, powdery mimosa, jasmine, violet and tonka beans. It’s delightful!

The leather that seems to be very prominent on lots of people is subdued on me. Which makes me very happy cause leather is not my vibe… I can’t really say that I get patchouli in here or Sichuan pepper. I like patchouli and spicy scents but for me, Cherry Punk is mostly a sweet cherry scent with floral, leathery, gourmand touches.

A great, more affordable alternative for Lost Cherry. I have a bottle of Lost Cherry and I find myself very tempted to add this to my collection.

An absolute love!!

TheDogfatherHTX

Yes it smells like Lost Cherry. But Lost Cherry with a bit of leather in it.

A safe blind buy if you like LC or cherry fragrances in general.

The opening is nearly identical to LC. Once it starts drying down you get more of the leather note, but it's still VERY cherry forward.

Sillage is enormous, my wife can smell it as soon as I walk into the room.

If you like LC, but don't want to spend the exorbitant amount to own it, go for this and you won't be disappointed.

Scent: 10/10
Longevity: 8/10
Sillage: 10/10

I've tried many of the popular cherry fragrances, and this one is by far my absolute favorite. HOWEVER, it evolved very interestingly on my skin. On my skin, it opens with a slightly medicinal cherry that quickly (about 30 seconds) faded to a genuine sweet cherry. After about 20 minutes it smelled very strongly of leather, like it overpowered every other note. Then, about 40 minutes later, the leather settled and it smelled very balanced! The cherry shines through and leather props it up nicely.

Cherry Punk is absolutely incredible after giving it an honest try. I love this and will be purchasing a full bottle as soon as I can.

P.S. this layered with Serge Lutens Fils de Joie is insanely awesome.

astrorocks

I don't think this wore on me like it was supposed to. I only got a hit of leather and cherry the first maybe 10 minutes and then it dried down to a very spicy pepper with a hint of vague, unidentifiable fruity sweetness? Weirdly sour and kind of acrid. Not too nice. Sillage was very poor, longevity was very poor...faded after maybe 2 hours (unusual on me). As with many perfumes, I really liked it straight out of the bottle, but Cherry Punk kind of lost itself on me. Most likely a skin-chemistry issue. I LOVE leather and cherry notes, but often they don't come out on my skin properly or as intended. On the other hand, my skin loves to pick up pepper and run with it so, really, I could have expected that outcome (normally, I avoid pepper notes for that reason). Bummer. It is like a 5/10, not offensive but nothing special on my skin.

smn96

for some reason smells like h&m home to me. the juicy maraschino cherry almost instantly fades into a heavy leather scent.

Basman0

I have always loved the smell of red fruits and wished they were used more especially in men's fragrances.
I was looking for something like this and feel like this really compliments my style.
This to me suits a colourful slightly edgy style.
Seeing as this is my first day wearing it, i'm not sure if i'm going to go full bottle yet but i do really like it.

As it is different especially compared to men's fragrances. And feels right center unisex to me.

Jinjindoe

It was fascinating to read other people's reviews because to me this perfume just stinks of an oil spillage. Used it twice to see if I could warm up to it, but nope. Like I smeared some oil straight from the rig. Not my thing.

Moonbby

Definitely correct in calling this a leather fragrance before a cherry fragrance. The opening to my nose has a very strong synthetic rubber smell - like a new tire - that lasts about 30 seconds and is the only thing I can smell. After about a minute the leather comes in and it straight up smells like a leather jacket or wallet. Leather is the main player for the first hour or so, it’s all I smell. Then around the hour mark the cherry starts to come forward and I do get that sweetness with the leather - and no more rubber note. This is a dynamic fragrance, that’s for sure. I can’t see myself wearing this one on its own very often. It’s unisex - more masculine for the first hour and then truly unisex onwards. I do foresee myself layering this with vanilla dominant or another sweeter cherry dominant fragrances though. My boyfriend has a Harley, so I can see myself grabbing this one for riding occasions! Overall, not a safe blind buy - definitely sample.

Marionym

Very sweet. Strong cherry and even stronger leather. Only for nights and not for everyone. It reminds me of leather jacket, dark, Smokey.

Not my cup of tea but I am sure some women can pull it off.

Eva Simone

I love reading how perfumes notes vary on different people. On me, if there is sweetness in the fragrance..that is what lingers on my skin. Not the case with Cherry Punk. The opening note for me smelled like gasoline with a hint of cherry.... I realized..it was the leather note. It was very strong..30 minutes in...the leather still very prominent and now I smell the pepper and the cherry all but faded on me. All I smell is the leather... Bad ass black leather jacket, cigarette smoke...you get the visual. I like unisex fragrances, but this one is not for me. I wished I smelled more of the cherry and saffron - even if it was half leather half cherry...I think I could make it work. . I think this would smell wonderful on a man. This just did not work for me. Luckily on only bought an 8 ml bottle. 1 hour in...very little cherry smell - on me it is basically a leather fragrance. I will give it to a guy and hope it works for him.

Sweet and Strong

Absolutely unisex. This isn't for nice girls or boys haha it's definitely a punk rock in your face cherry hint, and live wires heated up ready to rock. A "sex" scent for sure...

silvialys

Good cherry scent. Opens very fruity and fresh but after a few minutes the cherry disappear under a thick smoke which is a bit too harsh for me. I don't feel much leather but more of a smokey tobacco scent. In the dry down the juicy cherry comes up again as the smokeyness settle down but never disappears. It lasts a few hours on the skin and lots more on tissues, which also means leaving a smoked scent on clothes. The cherry is wonderful but I like less the smoke which it gives cigarette smell vibes I do not appreciate. I think that Kayali Lovefest Burning Cherry is a gentler and sweeeter version of the smoked cherry concept. In LBC the smokeyness comes more like roasted marshmallow and less as cigarette smoke. Definetely less punk though !

smellworthy

First impression is that it smells a lot like Lost Cherry, but I think I might actually like this one better. Cherry Punk is spicier but somehow smoother? And I get a lot of the leather. I can see how some folks are getting cigarette vibes from this, but I like that smoky and pepperiness that this has. It's far too hot outside for me to wear this now, but once it cools down I will be updating. So far I'm in love

ajjava

Check out ShopLavana for an EXACT dupe (I have both) of this. It's called Cherry Bomb and it costs less and performs better.

Nathymartucci

I am sampling this … so far …

It has its own identity …on my skin tho the lather is more predominant than the cherry . To be honest I can’t really smell the cherries . It doesn’t smell similar to TF /lost cherries to me .
It’s a Smokey leather scent . smells like inside a nice car with leather seats …
Even tho it’s a nice scent, it’s not my cup of tea .
Definitely to a safe blind buy .

Tasherapd

This scent is very similar to TF Lost Cherry but more smooth and toned down. I believe it’s the saffron. The leather note is blended so well. I normally can’t stand leather notes. This also pairs well with sweet scents for layering.

blackbeauty

I've been using this perfume for the past six months and it still doesn't get boring, which is unusual to me. Probably won't be using it in the summer months, but it's the perfect winter/fall smell. It's sweet, sexy and dramatic at the same time. To me it resembles someone who looks very hardcore on the outside but is a complete sweetheart on the inside. Or the other way around.

I don't really get any other notes in this except for cherry and leather. These two match VERY well - the leather note balances out the sweetness and juiciness of the cherry perfectly and makes it "drier", if that makes sense.

The first time I tried it, I actually thought it smells like cherries and tobacco. Like stewed cherries mixed with cigarette butts. And yet it works perfectly.

AdalynEverly

First Impressions (dabber):
This one to me starts off as a bright cherry just like lost cherry. However, as it settles on the skin it becomes more brighter, and juicier. Then that leather comes into play to make it deeper & it tones it down. As it dries down even more the pepper for me comes into play, and it almost smells like a cherry dipped in an ashtray. Overall vibe for me is that it’s like lost cherry, but is more dramatic & dark. I’m gonna give this a :) for now because to me. If you want to buy a lost cherry dupe that’s more affordable & sweet go for finer’ys not another cherry. Overall the same DNA as lost cherry along with the other cherry fragrance predecessors, just more of a edgy style. I’m also gonna give it a like rating because to me it’s nothing new or innovative. I’m trying to find an actual seductive foody gourmand type of perfume, but I can see this can be for others. My guy friend actually likes this one better than Mancera’s Tonka Cola, but I much prefer Tonka Cola during the first impressions. Although, I did say that this is a cherry review, and I didn’t say a cola review.

Summary:
Smells like: Lost Cherry winter edition, maybe a cherry in an ashtray a little.
Family of: Lost Cherry (+leather),
Silage: strong

Verdict:
Pass- too many dupes like lost cherry. It’s not exciting me anymore.
I’ll keep ya peeps posted

Cherry Punk takes the cake in the terms of cherry accords to me, and mind you i've smelled many of them. they're all either too sweet, synthetic, medicine-like or just... bad. but this? this is actual crack in a bottle. like i'll randomly remember how much i love it and go sniff it just once or twice throughout the day. def unisex but beware as only unapologetic women can rock this scent, and i don't say this in a pretentious way but this stuff is STRONG.

never spray more than two spritzes, or else you WILL die. funnily enough, i had ordered a sample and i hated it. to me it smelled screechy and bitter, almost like gasoline (or a lit molotov cocktail). but it grew on me so much that i bought myself a bottle and it lasts for ages too so you def get your moneys worth. it's dark, smokey, leathery, seductive, fun and incredibly loud. but who cares!

to be honest i was solely drawn to Cherry Punk cuz it being my signature scent just seemed evident. i love red, i love leather, i love cherries, and i've been obsessed with punk for years now, i HAD to have it. i also write music, so i usually wear this to the studio when i sing cuz it makes me feel like a star.

it's truly intoxicating. so if you're daring, go for it.

tldr; punk in the Nana Osaki way. i love it!

Sweet and Strong

Seeing Jerome made this, safe blind buy for me. I haven't recieved a miss yet by him! Coming soon ;) even if it's not my style (which it sounds like it is) il find someone to appreciate this.

alyssarware

This does remind me a lot of Lost Cherry but it's brighter, and I see a lot of people mention a cigarette smell but I grew up with parents who both chain smoked in the house and this does not smell like cigarettes. Cherry with a kick to it, fun and sexy

scnova

I usually don’t go for fruity perfumes unless there is citrus involved but I love this. I find the notes to be super clear cut: smoky and warm leather supporting a juicy cherry scent. The pepper keeps it from smelling overly sweet. I love patchouli more than the average person so I could have done with even more of that. Very feminine to me but the leather keeps it neutral enough that I think a lot of people would wear it. Great for a night out and pairs well with my favorite red leather jacket :-)

tmonique11

This is too dirty for me. I love the juicy cherry in here, but the leather and pepper give me ash tray. This is like smoking a cigarette then chasing it with a cherry coke and cherry hand lotion. Everyone still smells the cigarette smoke on you but you taste the cherry on your tongue. A pass for me and I really wanted to like it :(

StephDepress

Fantastic cherry/leather fragrance. Nice strong projection and longevity on my skin at least. Well named, dirty dive bar smokey leathery with a beautiful cherry note similar to the note in TF Lost Cherry, but this cherry note is where any similarities end. Apart from the leather I also get a bit of sound equipment cable rubber smells that just add to the 'punk' element. The leather is a strong leather, one of those black motorcycle affairs. This is Definitely a unisex fragrance. The 'punk' in the bottle is easily recognizable to those who have been to actual punk concerts. The bottle design and red glass is great, but I can't figure out why they didn't go with a cap styled like an amplifier volume knob. Instead they opted for something reminiscent of a budget seventies shampoo cap...
This juice is priced really nicely and definitely back-up worthy for me.
.. I'm getting hooked here, sweet bejeebus.

Miazinha

Um dupe perfeito do Tom Ford Lost Cherry mas mais carregado no couro e onde na cabeça não tem as notas de cereja que o LC tem. Um perfume super sexy e que eu adoro!

oakmossbaby

This opens very fruity, with strong maraschino cherry notes and then dries down to a smoky leathery scent pretty quickly, before finally becoming softer and letting the tonka bean note through. It's smokier, more leathery than I was expecting, but I still like it. It gives very cool girl vibes and it's a good fragrance for going out. My only critique is that it doesn't last super long. (According to my mother this smells like the cherry pipe tobacco her father used to smoke so do with that information what you will.)

frederickf_

The opening is very punk rock. I love it. It’s all smoke leather and cherry. The smoke is like the smell of stale cigarettes or cigarette buds left in an ashtray after a night of debauchery. This might not sound cool but trust me, it is lol. The smoke lasts a few minutes and is intense at first. But the way it blends with the cherry is just so good. The dry down is where it goes in a different direction, becoming a sparkling somewhat feminine leaning vanilla with more of a lost cherry vibe. Though not as elegant as Tom Ford, it’s very sexy stuff.

aes.she

I like this a lot, it is cherry and leather. "I don't like it, it smells like leather (smoke/cheap/unnatural/not like something else)...", yeah? Why the **** are you trying it? It is literally a -leather- scent. I like leather scents. I like this one and really, you know, it doesn't matter that I do because (have we forgotten?) Punk couldn't possibly care less whether you like it or not. I don't get much leather from it myself. More of a girly, Cherry Merry Muffin, sexy, playful, unselfconsciously carefree vibe with a touch of suede. It could last longer, it could have more leather, it could have more cherry, it could be...I don't care. I like it, exactly how it is, and I hope it wouldn't care if I didn't!

Isabellagd

This is one of those fragrances that definitely needs to be worn on the skin and not blind-bought.

I sampled it in Jovoy and wore through a small decant for a couple of days. It opens up with a warm spicy, sweet cherry, similar to Kayali Lovefest Burning Cherry and to some extent, Tom Ford Lost Cherry but without the booziness. It's stunning in the beginning, but those notes fade away quickly.

Half an hour later, it turns into a very strong leather-dominant fragrance on my skin and the cherry is no longer there. The leather note was very, very strong on me, slightly animalic and masculine. I don't mind some leather in fragrances but with Cherry Punk, it was too much and in the dry down it was all I could smell.

With Lost Cherry, I get the cherry note throughout the wear, 4 hours in I can still tell I'm wearing a cherry fragrance, with Cherry Punk, the cherry note disappeared very quickly and all I was left with was a strong leather note in the base.

Please test it properly before you buy. This would have been a massive blind buy fail for me if I didn't test it. I was really excited about Cherry Punk but I guess it's not for me.

agnes_holl

A well-worn leather jacket that's been marinated in a barrel of maraschino cherries, draped over the corner of a pool table in a smoky dive bar. 10/10. My favorite going-out fragrance.

TREVRmusic

It's all about the dry down on this one. Really top notch. I prefer this cherry over Lost Cherry. This has class and eloquence like a high-end bar. All I can really say. As a musician, I'm down! If Daft Punk were to be a fragrance, this is my vote!

MabelleBeauty

So yall been lying about this one cause how come this smells like a leather jacket on me? Its not good

kristiine

This is just too overhyped.
A tad of cherry and a lot of masculine, harsh, scratchy leather.
Name is appropriate for this one - it is really punk. Ripped stockings and piercings everywhere.
For a woman I do not find this sexy, for a man - yes!

whimsyandhoney

This is a cool fragrance because I usually hate obvious leather notes. In this, I can smell it very clearly but it’s a soft and doesn’t overwhelm the fragrance. It’s pretty much what you’d get if you took kayali lovefest and sprayed it on a leather jacket.

eaudeghostie

This isn't bad, and lasts exponentially longer than Lost Cherry) but I never wear it by itself. I only like it layered on top of Thin Wild Mercury's Whiskey 1969. With the boozy, spicy, sweetness of Whiskey, this really shines. The leather and cherry are soft but add a little something extra. Not that Whiskey needs anything extra, but Cherry Punk benefits from being layered with Whiskey.

spritzofglitz

To me, this is a more mediocre, cheaper smelling TF Lost Cherry. The only notes I get are the cherry and the leather, and neither are very good approximations. The cherry is one-dimensional and the leather note smells more like plastic-y faux "leather". This is basically what it would smell like if you left a cherry lozenge unwrapped in a hot car and let it melt into the seats. If you find Lost Cherry too be too sticky-sweet and boozy, you might appreciate this, but I honestly think there are better leathery dark cherry fragrances out there. I personally love Lost Cherry and was hoping this would be a nice less expensive alternative, but Cherry Punk just lacks the depth I'm looking for.

Samantha 12

This is as close as your'e going to get to a grown up cherry scent. A dark cherry opening with a warm soft leather undertone. The vanilla comes out in the dry-down as a supporting act, which keeps the leather note soft and more rounded. Sillage is decent but becomes more of a skin scent after a few hours, to me it is better on skin than on clothing. Overall a great fragrance, quite close to TF's newly released Cherry Smoke but this CP leans more to leather and CS to smoke. CP is less sweet and stays reasonably linear from opening to drydown, in a good way. TFCS is a bit sweeter with and dries down slightly more gourmand. I could wear CP all year round except maybe really hot days great fragrance, well executed by Room 1015 and need we say it .... less than half the price of TFCS.

TabledThoughts

On my skin, I get the blast of red cherry at the initial spray followed by distinctive leather from there on out.
Not a bad thing. I like the leather accord quite a bit.
That cherry note lingers sneakily in the background as a slightly sweet supporting player throughout the wear.
Well made.
Good performance.
I like the bottle.

All I get from this one on my skin are leather and cherry notes. Nothing else. The cherry here is pretty similar to the one in TF Lost Cherry, but less sweet and not boozy. I love leather and I also love cherry fragrances, hence I thought this would be a good combination and blind bought Cherry Punk. So far, I am pretty happy with this one. It’s like you stored some cherry candies in your leather handbag and forgot it there for a day or two. This is the smell you would get if you opened this bag. Beautiful!

PerfumePixie87

Sucking synthetic cherry flavoured throat lozenges while wearing a leather biker jacket. I guess the name is apt but the fragrance is not for me. Dark, heavy, slightly gothic jammy rose and leather laced with syrupy cherry. This has impressive performance and a certain person will adore this, but it is not my cup of tea. In fact I'm not sure how I feel about the note of cherry, I think it is extremely difficult to utilise in a natural way. Cherry can often smell sickly and manufactured.

Bakhoor

My notes:
Opens synthetic Cherry-Leather but quick transition within 10 minutes to Tom Ford like Lost & Leather flavors… is that faint tobacco showing up? Faint Smoke & Booze to me.
Final dry-down is the magic! Very linear from dry-down of Cherry 🍒 gourmand with Leather. I’m getting long-lasting performance at 8+hrs.
Final: Gorgeous dry-down. 9.0🔥 Unisex. I don’t think this is as challenging of a scent as some have mentioned, but test a decant! It’s worth it imho.

Rachuy

Cherry and a campfire smoke, lot’s of camp fire smoke…I understand why they pack it in as it dissipates within the hour. The dry down on this is fabulous. A deep red cherry balanced atop a soapy resinous patchouli, tonka, smokey base. It’s got a deep bank/pipe tobacco sweetness and an amazing violet sherbet jasmine combo. This perfume is exquisitely composed and balanced. The campfire is a little loud in the opening, however, it makes it complex, interesting and exciting, it’s also the dna of the fragrance. This is niche. This is an instant favourite and whole bottle worthy.

jblodge

I thought I had reviewed this a year or so ago, but can’t find my review, so I guess not. I picked this up for the first time in a while yesterday and still really enjoy this one. I love the way leather smells, but perfume leather has always been too much/too strong for me. The leather note in Cherry Pink isn’t. I love it.

I totally agree with all the reviews that say this is Lost Cherry in a leather jacket. (I haven’t smelled the new Cherry Smoke yet, so I can’t speak to any similarity there.)

I love the idea behind the name, but it smells too refined to be punk. This is less punk rocker and more Sandy in Grease when she puts on the leather jacket and swaggers through the school carnival. There is the fun edge the leather gives, but she’s still sweet!

jen.ann.5648

I LOOOOOOOVE this fragrance for the whole half minute it lasts. Then I just get leather. I really wanted those notes of cherry and pepper, I guess because I'm a chick! Ha!

Marlene12

Ombre leather and lost cherry had a baby here folks! :) LOVE

razorsinthenight

I’m very picky when it comes to cherry fragrance and I must say this one is probably my favorite. I honestly think the staying power and cherry in this is much stronger than TFLC/CS. If you truly like cherry, then you will appreciate the fact that leather doesn’t overpower the other notes in the end.

montgomery99

Candied cherries, vintage leather, birch tar (?), saffron, jasmine, and black suede are the notes that I get. The opening is the biggest blast of candy cherry ever (even more so than Lost Cherry, which I find has a more tart cherry accord). I get the leather right away, and it smells like very old, cracked, and well worn out leather. Not the "new leather gloves" accord I get from a lot of modern leather fragrances. Not necessarily better or worse, just up to personal tastes. There is a tar like quality that almost reminds me of shoe polish? Don't really get any tonka or creaminess from this composition in my tests, on my skin--perhaps certain people will find that more noticeable.

Now, in reference to Cherry Smoke, this is rougher around the edges. The leather is more raw and dirty, the cherries more candied, the saffron more prominent, and that dirty tar/polish note adding something slightly gasoline-like. Cherry Smoke is much better behaved--more like a brand new leather jacket you wore to a fancy lounge; whereas Cherry Punk is a well loved leather jacket that's been tossed in the corner of a dive bar. It truly is more "punk."

While comparable, Cherry Punk is more geared towards people who are more familiar with niche fragrances and less interested in smelling "good" and more interested in smelling "interesting," whereas Cherry Smoke is the more "mass-appealing" choice. Again, it totally comes down to specific tastes.

Got a sample and sampled it alongside BDK Rouge Smoking and TF Lost Cherry.

It’s infinitely better than LC tbh. The cherry note is very similar (and also similar to the burst of cherry at the beginning of Kayali Lovefest, though that one is much more similar to LC and more mainstream than this) to LC. But it quickly mixes with saffron which is a note I love. I got some expensive Saffron to cook with a while ago and fell for how heavenly it smelled. While this is clearly a synthetic saffron note, it’s pretty good and even better mixed with the cherry and the LEATHER

The leather here comes through after about 30 mins. I love this perfume most once the leather really shows up. It’s the Punk part of the name. Gives it an edge (though nothing super kinky or super sexy like the leather in RM 5).

This is a very well blended perfume, and I’m probably going to get a full bottle. I’m still testing the spillage and longevity.

I will say that I think this layers beautifully with Rouge Smoking. Quite different fragrances despite both being cherry, but they work well together.

AnnaMagenta

Recently, with the more perfumes, I'm trying the less I seem to tolerate some synthetically derived notes, saffron in this case (I think). At first, I tried it on my skin and it turned my stomach...into a knot. I've almost choked.

However, spraying this from afar on my clothes is the only way for me to wear it. After 30 mins the smell seems to become more ordered and less busy. It is getting soft, warm, slightly smoky, and unisex vibes. I see how it can be enjoyable for some. Even my husband liked it.

Update. I have perfumed my towels in the bathroom. It smells like suede/cherry pie. I am almost convinced that it will be smelling good in a hotter and more humid climate.

AquaBaby5

Cherry Smoke and Lost Cherry had a baby. NEED.

I always liked Lost Cherry but it was too much cherry, too gourmand. Adored the opening and mid of Cherry Smoke but the dry down wasn’t really cherry, all leathery woods. THIS, got it right.

Izzyveez

I’m eating a jar of maraschino cherries in a dive bar. Pretty straight forward, what you see is what you get. Not as complex as it could be, but I still like it. However after an hour or so she pulls an Irish goodbye, because she’s here for a good time not for a long time.

Elle Ayah

To my nose, it's gasoline-like leather from beginning to end, completely overshadowing any cherry, let alone lost cherry. Can't stand it. I've never been so glad that I sampled this. But even the $23 I spent on the 5ml decant is a gigantic waste.

karohorak

I never thought I’d say this about another perfume, but this is better than Lost Cherry. I’m a huge lover of cherry fragrances and have about all of them.

Cherry Punk smells like if you sprayed Lost Cherry on a vintage leather jacket. The leather accord is prominent for sure, which is why this perfume leans a bit masculine.

Regardless of gender though, this perfume is sexy, mysterious, rock’n’roll, and very daring. It’s not for the shy or faint-of-heart.

I cannot stop smelling my wrist and cannot wait to wear this to intimidate my enemies and intrigue my fellows. Jerome, you’ve done it again.

Jwdp

On my skin, I get a gasoline edge. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, as I find Cherry Punk very interesting! It conjures up some fantastic images, all of which feature black leather, bikes, smoke/exhaust, and the color red. Occasions to wear it will be rare for me, so my decant should last a long time.

Jboogie81

Cherry Punk is ok, I'm not impressed. It has a nice spiciness to it from the leather I'm assuming. I was hoping that it was beastmode but it's not. I get a whiff of it occasionally after 6-7 hrs from my clothing but on my skin it turns to a soft vanilla scent after 4 hours. I'm so glad that I have a travel spray size, it isn't FB worthy for me.

klm15851

On my skin, all I could smell in the opening was cigarettes; not smokiness, not a tobacco note but the strong smell of cigarette butts! Fortunately that didn't last long and the boozy cherry and leather came through. I love it.

viktorijavla

Where is the leather? Smells like cherry and burnt rubber :(
I feel like it's not for everyone. Very unsafe blind buy!

Mother Nurgle

Cherry and leather gloves. More Emily in Paris, less punk. But I like it.

So far it’s lasted 24 hours - through high fever, two naps, an application of camphor cream, and a horrid night’s sleep.

Edit: If you are new to leather this is a good place to start. Very gentle, very sensuous.

Klemens

Without comparing this to any other fragrances, it's a great cherry x leather combo scent. Pretty much the only thing I get from this fragrance. Reminds me of dried cherry snacks. I bought it cause I seriously needed a cherry scent, and the added leather is just so me. Love it. Not much to say but that's because it's a simple scent, easy to love.

Kizzyb93

I completely disagree with those who say this is a lost cherry dupe this is so much more this one is more punchy with a smooth leather that stays throughout the whole wear , this is not a playful scent at all when worn by a woman it’s a “ I’m not messing about” vibe to it , she’s abit of a bitch, she is her own boss, no one can tell her what to do
I have to say I like it but I don’t get the hype because after hearing all the YouTubers talk of this one I was expecting a little bit more

sim0nsalas

Smells like a Lost Cherry dupe I have (Parfum de Cherise by Montagne Parfums) with a faint backdrop of leather. I wish the leather, pepper, and patchouli were more prominent. If you have Lost Cherry or any of the clones/inspirations of it already, you'd be smart to pass on this one. If you can't help yourself and need to try it out, at least start by buying a decant of it from one of those monthly subscription services first.

BougieGirlShops

@maren.m review of dropping cherry liqueur onto leather pants in a dive bar is exactly the vibe I get. Deep boozy cheery and dark leather. This isn't delicate lambskin leather, this is Billy Idol's biker jacket. I like it but I don't love it. The leather is just a tad too literal for me.

MichelleAA

Similar but not a dupe for TF Lost Cherry. Cherry comes through well, smells authentic. This feels very S&M with the leather note. Sexy, naughty. I love it. Men seem to respond very positively to this smell, btw, if that's your thing, and it's definitely unisex. Lasted about 4 hours, goldilocks sillage. Worth the price.

MissKat

Its dangerous, alluring, and blatant. Not a perfume for anyone thats shy. The leather is a bit agressive in the beginning. It kind of smells like a closet full of old leather that you open for the first time in years. But it mellows out and becomes a beautiful leathery carnal cherry. I will be wearing this with winged eyeliner, messy voluminous hair, and the most intimidating heels I own.

GenXSteph

Amazing on me once I layered it over (Malin+Goetz) Rum body lotion.
Alone, Cherry Punk was good not great. I felt it needed a little more warmth. So I layered it as described and this combination suits me perfectly. I haven’t been this absolutely obsessed with a fragrance for a long time! I’m savoring my sample as I’ll never be able to afford a full bottle.

maren.m

smells like someone dumped cherry liquor on your leather pants at a dive bar. the leather is bold and well balanced with the sweetness of the cherry. starts with that leathery punch and dries down to a subtle smokey sweet. i love vaguely goth-y but more playful and less spicey/woody scents, and this is it for me. was an instant full bottle.

Hajimanoushka

Smokey burnt rubber with added sweetness. On me this is not a warm scent, unfortunately. My association is the Smokey burnt rubber of Patchouli 24 and Cuir 28 from Le Labo (different but there’s something similar that puts me off) combined with the sweetness of BDK Gris Charnel. If you like any of those, maybe this is for you. The cherry sweetness lingers for a long time, while the smokiness wears off, making it more agreeable. My top pick for sweet leather scent this season is beautiful Diptyque Eau Rihla, also with leather-saffron-pepper, but that gives totally different vibe!

darlingnadine

This smells great in the first 3 seconds then all you can smell is leather. Eventually you can still smell something creeping under that but the leather is too overwhelming. Very disappointing.

klioux

This is such a fun scent. I love that this is a very bold feminine leather fragrance, something that's been tricky to find. The leather in this is soft, warm, and steadily persists in the dry down. The cherry is definitely boozy, sloppy sweet, but darkens and rounds out. I can see how others find it a little juvenile or synthetic, but to me it's playful and raunchy with a hint of nostalgia. I wish I got a little more saffron or pepper, either would be make this full bottle worthy.

KaiKai97

Not a fan. I’m not enjoying the leather note. The cherry note doesn’t smell as refined like other cherry perfumes I have tried. Something about this smells cheap.

Lennup

If you test this one, test it on skin! On paper it only smells like a synthetic candy cherry / dr. pepper. On skin the scent goes super smoky, but then settles into a lovely soft cherry. The Tonka Bean gives it a lovely softness. There's also a boozy cherry liquor vibe to it.

Zuziafruzia

A synthetic candy cherry. Juvenile. Not unpleasant, but that’s is what my mouth to smell like when I am eating a lollipop. Not announce my presence like that.

Neckromancer

I actually find this pretty simple. I get Tom Ford Lost Cherry-style dark cherry with a strong sneaker store leather base. It. Smells. Like. Shoes.

XeniaKoneva

What a pleasant surprise. I was looking for a cherry perfume, but not as pricy like TF Lost Cherry. I had high hopes for Guerlain LRN Perfecto to be my "biker chick cherry perfume", but Cherry Punk definitely deserves this title more.
It starts with a smoky, almost creosote-like note + bitter almond, then it slowly progresses into a sour cherry liquor. The leather accord here is really prominent.
Seducing, unisex and deep.

Thatbwoy

Imagine your favourite sexy singer performing on stage in the middles of June, whipping the crowd into a frenzy and just getting crazy with it. Now imagine they step off stage and immediately step into a vat of ripe Cherries to cool off (oddly). This was the immediate impression I got when I smelt this for the first time. The leather is not a cheap leather, this is a soft black leather smell, almost like calf skin. I was worried that it was going to smell of cheap leather and sickly sweet artificial cherry - but the cherry smell is clean and fresh smelling.

Although I think its a unisex scent I think it starts off masculine then leans over to the feminine side, but this works very well on my skin so I'm going to continue wearing this.

7.3/10

SalamanderBanjo

Most other cherry frags I have tried come in hot with the cherry and then it is lost on the dry down. I was so very pleasantly surprised that Cherry Punk opens with the leather and smoke to let you know she's a bad b**** but on the dry down the warm, smokey cherry really shines. If you want to turn the cherries up to 11 I suggest layering with Alkemia - Cherries of the Night which smells like a warm, boozy cherry pie.

Vellocet

Usually I think cherry in perfumes smell way too synthetic or vague. But this along with lost cherry and lovefest is quite realistic and prominent. This one leans heavy on the cherry, but after a while it tones down a little and the saffron, violet and leather comes through. Very punk indeed!

LZed

Opening struts out as maraschino cherry in a peppery new leather jacket. The cherry and pepper are the top notes so even though they are noticeable, they fade as quickly as the Sex Pistol’s work ethic after a heroin bender. It simmers down to a faintly floral leather. Very faintly floral. A bit similar to Eau de Gaga but cherry instead of lime and no Earl Grey tea. This is more of a saffron spice fragrance than a cherry fragrance. Autumnal. Leans masculine.

VinceChi1178

This is the fragrance that goth girl in your high school would have worn. You know the one – all black outfit, moody, tended to hang by herself. But under it all she was super nice and got along with everyone. And she probably listened to Britney Spears when she was home alone.

Cherry Punk is very much what it portends to be – a cherry fragrance that’s heavily laced with leather. The cherry is very sweet. It’s also on the artificial side in a way that reminds me of Lip Smackers lip balm (instead of, say, cough syrup). The leather note also has an artificial quality that calls to mind a Wilsons Leather store (the one that goth girl from your high school bought the jacket she wore every day). Combined, you get something a bit juvenille that's playing at being dark.

This sounds like I’m not a fan, and that's not true. I quite like Cherry Punk. It just reminds me of something a teenager would wear to seem more adult. Any why not? It’s got a leather note. The word “punk” is in the name. And it smells good. But it’s also really sweet. And a bit on-the-nose.

All-in-all, Cherry Punk is an above average fragrance that's more playful than punk.

kingderella

Cherry and leather it is. It's fun, but the cherry note is rather artificial and sometimes reminds me of cough syrup, which makes it a little hard to pull this off.

I feel the character Tank Girl would wear this.

SmeagolsSister

Just as the name says: cherry & punk

This is something I'd love to wear out to rock concerts. It goes well is docs and black and I love it. The cherry smell is really good at first and then the leather smells is nice and edgy and it lingers a while. I would never wear this as a scent during the day, but it is a nice scent for being out. It also kind of reminds me of a campfire, and it smells very warm. I could see myself liking it in the winter. It's definitely a unisex scent because of the leather, and I normally go for floral fruity and gourmand scents, but I really like this. I'm also very new to this scent family though, so there's still much out there I'd need to compare it to in order to judge well.

I think this is one I'll consider getting a full bottle of for nights out, but I'm still new to this, so I'm going to wait a bit first.

perfumepuff

It's different from Lost Cherry, but still within the same genre. If you don't want to spend on LC, this one is a good alternative. A fun fragrance to wear when the mood strikes.

ally8689

It opens with a sweet cherry and after that you can’t really smell the cherry. I can say the opening smells like lost cherry and sweet but fades very quickly. The floral notes of it come out after a bit at least on my skin. There’s less cherry than I expected but I don’t hate it. The leather makes it a unisex fragrance, and usually I hate unisex fragrances but I actually like this one. It’s definitely not a mainstream scent and it is an edgier perfume, so if that’s what you’re looking for you’ll probably like this. It’s different than I expected but I still love it

MacabreLemon

The cherry scent isn't as deep as I'd like it to be. It smells like a cherry car air freshener. The leather overpowers everything else. I would prefer it if I could pick up the smoky fragrance others talk about, but all I get is leather. Overall I found it to smell cheap and juvenile. Almost like it's trying really hard to be edgy and cool. I did enjoy wearing it while doing some bicycle maintenance. The innertube and oil scents didn't clash with Cherry Punk the way they would with everything else. So if you are a bike mechanic, I highly recommend Cherry Punk.

SalivatingSoul-stice

Very decent cherry frag. This really has nothing to do with TF LC. LC is much much brighter than this; this has more of a leather ratio than cherry with minute floral nuances but cherry does do it's thing here. It does open up like a maraschino cherry. It has decent performance too!

petra_analog-fog

This opens as drunk, juicy, slightly artificial cherry with strong bitter almond. After a few moments leather takes over and it’s a old leather armchair in a cigar room, as smokiness is quite prominent on me. I love this base, it’s so sensual and sexy. I don’t care for the opening as it’s too sweet for me, but the smokey leather is out of this world.

likesleet

not what i expected at all. i thought this would be a dark, sensual leathery, smoky cherry but this smelled like a marichino cherry. super sweet artificial cherry. smelled like a cherry coke as well. i did get leather in the drydown but it was still very bright and childish.

tagide

The unmistakable, smoky notes, sitting in the back seat of a brand new car, cigarette end burning into the tanned hide seat, spilled syrup cherries permeating through the leather seams, having driven into a jasmine bush.

Cherry Punk. Room 1015

twiztidladii

This is a lovely Cherry frag. I’m glad I got to try it. To me it gives off “Romantic Goth” vibes. I would imagine Morticia Addams wearing something similar. The Cherry blends with the Leather so well. Which is great because I typically find Leather in frags to be too overpowering.

charlottehrose

Received this as part of a monthly subscription. This fragrance concept is entirely out of my green-citrus-fresh wheelhouse, so I figured it would be a decent price to pay what amounted to about $14 for a travel size spray.

The scent upon smelling the spray nozzle was lovely deep cherry, not too sweet, a very sophisticated take on cherry, with just a hint of a pleasant leather.

I sprayed one spray on my arm. Within 5 minutes the cherry faded while a fake, slightly plasticky strong "leather" with some smoke took over. It was overwhelmingly unpleasant. I am very glad I did not spend more than what I did on it.

Duskfall

The opening is delightful, but unfortunately the leather soon takes over and it's the type of leather note I don't particularly enjoy. The dreaded new carseats. Generic, synthetic, not very elegant. Somehow too modern. I wish the cherry would remain more prominent. It's a "no" from me.

Average performance.

Pvw82

I see alot of people saying this is a new car cherry smell, thats probably bc of the saffron mixing with the leather and cherry, saffron has a metallic aspect to it for freshness.

But honestly the first like 5 mins are iffy, after that it does become a beautiful syrupy cherry leather, im assuming the florals of jasmine sambac and mimosa add to that tonka sweetness. Its a wonderful fragrance, performance at this price could be better it is only moderate on me in both sillage and longevity, but that could be bc i have drier skin so ymmv.

Get a sample, after a day im sure you will appreciate it and buy a full bottle but not for me, my wife loves thhis stuff so it was for her lol.

Dingleberries

Don't understand the comparison to Tom Ford Lost cherry.....why, Because it's a cherry fragrance? to an amateur nose it might seem similar. Cherry Punk is slightly smoky and ashy and has a great deal more depth and character than lost cherry.

msamber86

It starts with cherry and leather though the leather is more overpowering for me. I agree with the people who said it was a new car leather smell. But this is only for a few minutes. Then the sweet cherry starts to bloom on top of the leather. The cherry is beautiful. It doesn’t smell synthetic. It mixes really well with the leather. I couldn’t believe how the leather brought out a dark and jammy aspect of the cherry. It’s genius. As the leather fades away the cherry becomes darker. I didn’t like the leather at first but then I started to appreciate what it brought out of the cherry.

As the leather drops the tonka comes in and it becomes a dark and sweet cherry, which I love. I get some of the florals but they are fleeting. Then I get cherry and smoke/ash which is better than it sounds.

I really appreciate that this is a cherry fragrance all the way through. Usually a cherry perfume will have cherries in the top note and then it goes away. Here you get cherry all the way through interacting with different elements that seek to enhance the cherry scent.

There are parts I love and parts I hate. I will have to give this fragrance a few more tries to figure out if I want a bottle. It certainly is interesting and I think if you like cherry scents this is worth a try.

frederickf_

Love. It’s TF lost cherry with a lot of ash, which makes it slightly more masculine imo. I was expecting it to be good but it’s better. Leaning on a signature for me.

Lilyg0

I just got a sample of this and I smelled cherry when I sprayed and then just leather and it doesn’t smell like a leather jacket to me, it smells like the inside of a new car. Very clean and plasticky leather at first. Maybe it’s the cherry with the leather I agree with the person who said new car + cherry air freshener. During the first minute of that I didn’t really like it but After a couple minutes It’s starting to smell really good

senzuri

The vibe is you're driving with a hot dude right after you banged him in a car with nice leather seats and a Coronado cherry air freshener in the back. Got this from s**ntbird and will be buying a full bottle for sure.

I've never smelled anything like this on anyone else and feels really far from "mainstream" while being extremely pleasant and sexy. Will probably become my signature scent.

Trishaaa

A sweet (but not too sweet), syrupy cherry that follows a leather note I'd describe as a little dirty, but don't think it overpowers the cherry completely because it doesn't, however it does definitely become more prominent in the dry down.

I love this actually. I 100% agree with Remmel about it being like grenadine on a leather jacket with smokiness in a biker bar. I genuinely cannot stop smelling myself after spraying it. I've heard there's a note that's like tyres which I can agree there's a little of, but it's less than I thought tbh. If you like TF Lost Cherry, this honestly isn't too far off it except for the leather and smokiness. Absolutely beautiful!

Stoned.Zombie.Cat

I got this for my fiance but it's definitely a unisex perfume. Like I feel like I could pull it off if I want to. I don't know how to describe this but I'm going with leathery with some sweet cherry and a liiiiittle bit of spice. Although leathery doesn't feel like the right word. I really love the cherry in this though. I keep grabbing it and smelling it lol. My fiance says its 'not bad' which means he likes it LOL

emmajsfia

I'm SO in love with this. It's dark and playful at the same time, not too sharp and not too mellow. It smells like drinkin cherry coke in an old leather seated car with a bouquet of flowers next to you, it's perfect i love it <3

katelloyd

Just received my full bottle of Cherry Punk in the mail after going through a sample very quickly. This fragrance is at once youthful and grown up, but not "mature". Deep, cherry drenched leather with the slightest sharpness at first spray. It dries down to a sexy, warm, enveloping scent that still feels edgy and unexpected. Cannot stop smelling my wrists when I wear this beauty. I wouldn't say it's a safe blind buy because both cherry and leather are somewhat polarizing accords, but it's really difficult to imagine anyone but the most basic of bitches outright disliking this fragrance. Unisex but definitely leans femme on me. I wouldn't mind smelling this on anyone of any gender, though. I guess I understand why a lot of reviewers say this is a cooler weather/evening fragrance, but I plan to wear it throughout the year. Absolute 10/10.

hayley__randy

I've never smelled Lost Cherry before, but heard that Cherry Punk was a dupe in a leather jacket, and I'm into it. This is, however, VERY leather forward, almost bonfire-y, so if you're not into that, this is not your jam. I personally love the leather and smoke with the cherry however; it keeps it sexy, but not too sweet. My husband never gets excited about any fragrance, and he loves this. The dry down is also lovely, creamy, cherry almond situation (not like your Jergen's cherry almond, but like warm, milky cherry almond). Room 1015 really has some great fragrances that really fit more than just a scent profile, more of a vibe, as dorky as that sounds. Their fragrances either match my mood or put me in a better one.

LolliMolly09

This is cherry all grown up.
Someone spilled their cherry liquor on your leather jacket, then you pop out for a smoke of cherry cigarillo. Deep, sexy, a little bit of incense-y vibes. Absolutely love.

LauraAD

VERY cherry opening, but after it settles down it smells like wearing an old leather jacket whilst eating cherry flavoured sweets. That's as complex as it gets on me, I don't get any of the floral or vanilla aspects. I like it, and I'll enjoy using up my 10ml travel spray, but I won't be running out for a full bottle when it's gone.

Remmel

This is what I'm looking for in a cherry perfume. Instead of fruity cough-syrup, Cherry Punk smells as if cherries had been thrown into a bonfire and melded with the smoke. Like grenadine being spilled over a black leather jacket in a smoke-filled biker bar. It isn't super wearable, but I love it. Might get a travel spray.

Unruly Julie

At first it starts out with a slightly boozy quality that reminds me of sloe Gin (which I love). Then it turns into drinking a Sloe (Comfortable?) Screw in a smoky bar with a gorgeous, dark haired dude in a black leather jacket. Too much fun!

LMBelvi

I have adored this scent from first sniff. It’s the scent that taught me life isn’t complete without a fab cherry composition in your collection. The cherries here are a little angry but the leather is fun loving and has a sense of humor. Pepper and saffron are delightful. Don’t know what the flowers bring to the party but they know better than to muck it up for the rest of the stellar fragrance notes. I will always want this one on my shelf.

Aldehyde&Seek

I'm not much of a scent sommelier. My feelings about a fragrance are pretty binary. Either I like it or I don't.

Some fragrances I love immediately like Armani Code Profumo, Viktor & Rolf Spicebomb & Boss Bottled Intense.

Others like YSL La Nuit D'Lomme (a blind buy) I had a hard time understanding but grew to love after a few wears.

Then there are ones like Dior Sauvage I still don't really like after persisting with (It was a gift). Maybe Ambroxan molecules don't fit inside my olfactory receptors.

Lastly there are niche fragrances like Hauer's L'air Du Desert Marocain that aren't like anything I've ever smelled and I see immediate positive reaction to from strangers and remind me of long forgotten memories.

After watching a review of Cherry Punk by YouTuber Ashley In Paris I decided to buy a 50ml bottle.

I liked Cherry Punk from the moment I sprayed it on with the sample bottle, until I wore it to work and could still smell it on my skin the next day. It's an easy to wear fragrance and I highly doubt you'll offend anyone no matter how heavy handed you are with it.

This may be somewhat horrifying to people with a greater nose than mine but it reminds me a lot of the original Joop! Homme. Maybe it's the combination of Patchouli, Jasmine, Tonka and Vanilla, but it's part of the reason why I like it. I instantly liked Joop! as a teen and although it gets roasted these days, and may not have aged well, it was quite unique back in 1989.

To me this is Joop! Homme all grown up. Less loud, super smooth and in no way synthetic. I'm going to enjoy rocking this over Autumn & Winter. If you live in Australia, Lore Perfumery is the place to buy it.

Adox

Ive had this for a while and have revisited it lately and am glad I did. Yes it has a huge burst of cherry in the opening but once it dries down it is a cherry leather scent. The cherry never goes away for me in the life of the scent but is perfectly balanced by the leather accord. the leather really rounds the scent profile out and both the cherry and leather are balanced perfectly.
There is an animal accord in there too but you really have to get very close to notice it at all. There also is a bit of a tobacco leaf vibe going on too even though its not a listed note.

I get great performance out of this one, both sillage and longevity are well above average for me.

You should sample this one before buying and live with it a bit before deciding on whether its for you or not.

Personally Ive gone from quite liking it to possibly loving it.

DarlingLovely

There's definitely cherry at the start, and it strikes the balance of being not too sweet and not too boozy. However, the drydown for me is pure, creamy leather. Some sweetness remains, but it's certainly more punk than cherry.

mandygrimreaper

When I first got this, I was so excited I sprayed it right after getting it in the mail. Maybe 'cause the bottle was all shaken up, all I could get was a heavy blast of smokey leather and maybe 10% cherry lurking in the background. I was super disappointed because of all the reviews raving about a juicy cherry. I tried it again the next day after letting the perfume settle and voila there it is! Such a delicious dark cherry and leather. It doesn't have the boozy qualities of Tom Ford Lost Cherry. I love both but I'd have to pick this over TFLC. The price and performance of TFLC is just ridiculous.

emmabrenneman

I love the juicy cherry opening but after 1 min it smells like you walked into an Autozone: a cherry scented lil tree air freshener + new tires. I want to like it more... I dont hate it. Its unique, kind of sweet, I think the leather may be tad too heavy for my liking. I dont get any floral notes. I think if it was cut to half the amt of leather and tobacco leaf was added it may be better... like a leather chair & cherry cigar vibe.

D0LLFACE

I’m really jealous of all of you who love this. I wanted to love it too. Cherry Punk, the name alone made me get it. The bottle=gorgeous. I can’t like it at all though. The first spray is atrocious to me. I will hold on to it and see if a season change or my own chemical change makes it better at a later date.

taryn renee

No tires for me. I get cherry juice and a dark leather. About an hour and a half in, the tonka patchouli lifts and joins the fragrance cloud. It is absolutely a familiar amber, but there is a gentle sharpness that is so lovely. I can get sweet florals on my skin, but they don't seem prominent, just background. This is a really fun fragrance. What could be more punk than cherry and leather? Well, lots of things now that I think about it. Maybe that's why this fragrance reads as more fun to me than punch you in the face anarchy.

dsty

Cherry is such a lovely perfume note when it's done right, but that must to be extraordinarily difficult, because it so seldom is. So when the hype about this one reached me I was intrigued and excited, enough to break my current "no new samples until the ones I have are reviewed" rule. And I'm glad I did, because Cherry Punk really lives up to the hype. The cherry note is wonderful, deliciously sweet in a rather artificial but well-balanced way which somehow makes it smell grown-up and elegant. And of course that's helped by the leather accord which goes so well with it. It's the kind of leather note that I personally really like, starting off rubbery and ending up soft, velvet smooth and a little smoky - the way it contrasts with the sweet cherry reminds me of Mona Di Orio's Violette Fumée, which I also love: they feel like similar (fantastic) concepts to me despite their different notes.
This is one of those rare cold weather fragrances that have it all: it's delicious, and super comfortable and easy to wear, but it also manages to be both intriguing and kind of elegant. It's also perfectly unisex. I don't get specific spices, it's so well blended, but I can believe they're there, because there are definitely layers of depth to this scent. I can imagine wearing it in all kind of situations, and I can only join the hype and put a big bottle on my wishlist - however rare that is for me, my decant is bound to run out in the not too distant future!

iszzieanna

This opens with a blast of rubber and as many have mentioned, cherry tires. After the rubber burns away, the leather note becomes soft and smokey. The cherry is very faint and stays this way on me throughout the life of the fragrance. It does become a bit more pronounced as I wear it, but I find that this scent changes in warm and cold weather. The smokey and pepper notes also become stronger. I feel like I need more time to really appreciate what I’m smelling.

Brand new Barbie doll, synthetic cherry, the inside of Bell Tire. Maybe that sounds like a diss, it’s not! It’s avant garde. Something a John Waters vixen would wear. This is a novelty fragrance, not something I would wear at all or everyday, because it’s not my vibe. I can see someone cooler than me rocking this on a night out. I like both leather and cherry notes; I wanted this to smell like Tom Ford FF & Lost Cherry had a perfume baby. (It does not.)

How I described it in the beginning is exactly how it smells to me. If cherry and leather interest you, don’t be thrown off by earthy and aromatic patchouli and warm nutty tonka, I do not detect those at all. As interesting as this fragrance is, it doesn’t have too much depth and stays true to the beginning as long as you wear it. Longevity is solid.

Minalerie

This is so sexy. Sweet cherry to pique your interest, with a leather that is smooth and not overbearing. Like a leather purse.

It’s the hottest girl you’ll ever have in your ride, wearing a mini with nothing under, drinking a Capri Sun…. And you may not be getting any because she’s that confident.

Love this so much!

Oh my god, the thrill of your first spritz of a scent you know will be (already is?) a cult classic. Purchased a batch of nice spray samples from Ministry of Scent and wow, Cherry Punk is such an icon.

I kind of speculated this was going to be derivative of Tom Ford Lost Cherry before trying it. By the drydown, I completely reversed my speculation.

I love where it starts and ends. The initial blast is a bright cherry soda (not lip gloss) note elevated by saffron and mercurial violet which is a super exciting intro, but not what I need for 8 hours. The next phase is at least 20 minutes and frankly a bit chaotic with strange cameos from notes, but over the hour you land on a punk af dry down of soft, worn leather, tobacco and the cherry leveled down to a perfectly harmonious blend. That initial cherry cola is like an effervescent adolescence that matures vividly to the 20-something punk icon this scent was created to celebrate.

If you were team cherry soda, this is probably a let down. I can relate so much to the disappointment of drydowns not living up to exhilarating initial blasts. With Cherry Punk though, it was exactly the evolution I needed (maybe as a guy fwiw) to turn this from playful/interesting to a must-have.

I was in search for a Tom Ford Lost Cherry alternative, as it lacks longevity, which is ridiculous for its price.

Cherry Punk has the very same sour sweet juicy cherry note like LC. Its has good longevity. The only thing that makes me hesitating getting a full bottle is the leather note.....It is nice, but after a while, when the cherry calms down and mixes with the leather, somehow the leather note doesn't feel round and well blended with the cherry note. Its in a way a cold and distant leather for me. For people who dont mind that leather note I can highly recommend it as the cherry note is really very lovely

Initially at first spraying this reminds me of Lost Cherry right away, but a dirtier and not as sweet cherry as LC.
At first I didn't liked it at all, almost wanted to wash it off, but once settled became much nicer and I do love the cherry in this.

This is a beautiful cherry fragrance. The cherry, saffron, violet and leather notes really make it unique and on my skin I don't get the smokiness that others talk about, it's almost as if patchouli is not there because it always destroys it for me. Unlike Lost cherry which is a gourmand cherry fragrance with almond, Cherry Punk gives me the impression of cherries drunk in liqueur and chocolate. Great work with sexy undertones and good projection at arm length for me.
