No, this isn't the one for me. It had so many great reviews here I had to try it. Just from the notes it has some of my favorites Iris, Peony, Rose, Musk, Peach, most fragrances with these notes smells great on me and really vibe with my body chemistry. But sadly this didn't smell great on me. It smells old fashioned on my skin, matronly if that makes sense. I don't like to say that it smells like old people because that seems disrespectful and I want to become a matronly woman who would like to smell like what I choose to smell like. But it kind of smells dated and old fashioned. But like I said it's probably my body chemistry. I was really hopeful about this one because I really love iris and peony on me. But oh well maybe next time, I might give this one another try during a different season. Maybe that was the problem. To be continued...

Emozione is my scent of the day today and I love it! The House of Ferragamo never, ever dissapoints! This was one of my first blind buys ever. Before the pandemic, I did not believe in blind-buying fragrances, now I do it for sport! Emozione is a fragrance that I purchased right at the beginning of the pandemic. I have worn it several times, and actually need to replace it with a new bottle. In my opinion, this fragrance is an easy grab. It is perfect for the office, brunch with the girls, date night, and all in-between. It is super feminine, fruity, sexy, and sensual. The peach and the bergamot provide a fruity, clean spritz-- at first--but Emozione quickly becomes sexy and sensual, as the white musk and suede notes come barreling through. Emozione is earthy and ambery, just an all-around great fragrance for the secure, confident woman.
Longevity and sillage on this are great. Emozione becomes animalic and subtley bold, as it dries down. Great fragrance for all seasons and any time of day. This fragrances does not smell like something everyone else is wearing nowadays. It smells authentic and luxurious. I would not deem this as a safe blind buy, but it sure ought to be!

Emozione is more floral; Love, Anne is fruitier, and Body is in-between and with a bitterish edge. The nude, blush colours of their presentation convey well their essence. They give off a broadly similar vibe - warm, soft, plushy. They are like siblings or cousins - distinctive in their own right but also sharing genetic commonalities of being musky, woody, and powdery. I love this extended family of peachy delights.

This is a lusciously sensual perfume by Salvatore Ferragamo. I love it. Applied a few sprays mid-morning this morning. Still luxuriating in the magnificent dry-down at 11pm. Bravo!👏

This was a blind buy for me and I really wanted to love this, based on the notes but it’s just too bitter for my taste. Tried it a couple of times now and I end up scrubbing it off, because it’s just too sour with my skin chemistry. I don’t get any of that soft powdery vibe at all. It’s very loud but not in a good way for me, unfortunately.

ntabassum92

Emozione is a pretty peachy iris perfume, most beautiful in the top notes. Fruity peachy with a bitter floral edge, I really smell the heliotrope in this one. The opening is not unique to this perfume, but it is a good one. The drydown becomes a bit less interesting, however - it softens too much to where everything just blurs into a warm light peach scent, and loses its character.

cookygirl

I really wanted to love this fragrance but, after giving this a few wears, it seems that unfortunately I just don't really care for the actual scent.
It is the type of fragrance that I often gravitate to: understated, cool and not too loud.
Like others have said this is a very classy, and incredibly smooth and well blended fragrance. Very grown up and sophisticated.
What I found most remarkable about it is the longevity and projection. This scent just radiates off your skin for hours. However, it is never loud. It just creates a gentle but softly noticeable aura around you.
As to the scent itself - I like the powdery aspect but my problem is with the peach and with the patchouli, both iffy notes for me. They're both too prominent here and ultimately I just don't really enjoy the scent because of them.
Someone mentioned an affinity to Tresor and Coco Mademoiselle and others have referenced Burberry Body. I don't care for any of those, so the fact that I couldn't make this scent work for me really shouldn't surprise me. If you do like any of those however you should definitely try Emozione. It's a hidden gem.

If you miss the original formulation of Bvlgari Pour Femme (discontinued, it’s a crying shame!) - this is the closest thing I’ve encountered to it. It has that powdery quality and sensual nature that Pour Femme has - mixed with that juicy quality of the peach and fruits that Pour Femme also has! But here - instead of Violets, it’s iris and heliotrope. Because of this combination - it also shares slight similarities with Love Chloe! This is a mix of Bvlgari Pour Femme and Love Chloe, two of my MOST favourite scents and I am thrilled to have discovered this!

I usually almost never gravitate towards Salvatore Ferragamo fragrances and even their designer products… I don’t know why! But, this one sure changed my opinion of the fragrances!

It’s powdery, silky, perfect for a fall morning as you commute to work. Perfect to pair with a beautiful white silk shirt and beige slacks with your best nude heels! You’ll feel elegant, classy and a little bit like a Park Avenue princess! It doesn’t scream like the new rich kids do.. it smells of old money. Understated, but sooooo elegant.

OTA Mom

I usually avoid iris scents, but this has just the right accents of fruit and sweet heliotope to make it an enjoyable wear, without being too powdery.

Sparkleball22

Powder-puff, creamy, peachy, slightly soapy, drop dead beauty here.
Ok. I’ve come to realize that this is a scent I always want around because though I don’t wear it daily, when I need it nothing else will do. I first smelled this on a beautiful person at a wedding and up to that point, had never even thought of trying a powdery perfume! But it was so captivating.
There’s a lot to love about Emozione because it is a gentle cuddly peachy powdery thing that clings but it can pull off cool, powdered and not sweaty. One of my most comfortable perfumes. It smells like chilled peaches in vanilla yogurt that turns into powder. It’s soft and inviting in a smooth beigey way. Refined and a bit silky.
I suspect some folks are anosmic to certain elements of this perfume and am confused by reviews saying it’s boring. I was mesmerized when I first sniffed this. I guess it was made for my nose!
This is also one of my favorite bedtime fragrances but I think it could go anywhere! The sprayer and bottle are as lovely as the juice.

CurlGurl

The heliotrope gives this a vintage vibe, but overall it's beautiful and soft. Definitely a mature woman fragrance. The initial spray is Heavenly. The peach is sweet and I feel the rose and patchouli are the dominant notes in the dry down. Very elegant, clean, and inoffensive. Smells expensive and luxurious.

kkaattjjeess

This to me smells like you're wearing the original blue Nivea cream/lotion and some powdery floral perfume on top of it.
Inoffensive and pleasant.

Bought mine ages ago and it went straight to my swap/sell pile, but I am now reconsidering it and giving it another chance. There is something about it that is very slightly reminiscent of Love, Chloe, but definitely not worth buying this just based on that, as it's very faint of a resemblance.

Edit: Every time I test this, I like it a bit more than I did before.

Edit2: The sprayer of this is definitely top3 from my collection.

KateWest

I would love this perfume if it wasn't for the terrible pain I experience as a result of wearing this. There's a peppery note I can't tolerate and after an hour or so of wearing this, my nose begins to ache like I've been punched and I develop the worst headache! I'm not usually sensitive to headaches from fragrances and of the nearly 100 I own, this is the only perfume that has this sort of effect on me. I would LOVE to know what the ingredient is that I'm reacting to. Does anyone else have trouble with that overbearing peppery note?

blondemelancholic

Really like this perfume. A nice, comforting scent, inoffensive, albeit one without a strong personality. It's powdery, but I get more of a mother's milk scent from this, just something to wrap yourself up in with a happy sigh. I don't have many scenarios where I'd wear this out to impress, but I enjoy wearing it around the house or after a shower just to feel comforted and happy. (:

annasarahr121

Pretty, powdery, slightly musky light floral. At first impression, Emozione is definitely very pleasant but not particularly distinctive. It has very gentle sillage so it's good for when you want a quiet, non-projecting scent. But as I wear it, it's definitely growing on me: something about the cool iris, clean musk, and lightly sweet heliotrope -- with a little cold peach thrown in there -- is very nice. It is kind of like the super-low key sister of the much louder Burberry Body, a personal love of mine, but both project a feeling of being cool, classy, and put-together. Not sure yet about longevity, but I'm really liking it! I may need to get a full bottle of this one.
Update: Got a full bottle. I totally LOVE this scent! <3

Petrichor31

The beautiful powdery dry down in this makes it ideal for use as a lingerie & bath robe fragrance. I often can't stand suede or leather notes but it is done right in this perfume. It is a soft supporting base note and adds elegance to the dry down.

nurkhairn

The peach is pretty bitter in this. Sophisticated and inoffensive.

adice

I got a purse spray of this to try since so many votes said it smells like flower of Immortality (really love that one) but it doesn't. They both have a peach note it's not even a similar type of peach note. I've worn through several purse sprays of the by kilian and I'm not sure that it is worth the money but I much prefer it over Emoizone. Emoizone smells fine but wasn't what I hoped for.

If anyone is here, like me, looking for something similar to Flower of Immortality by Kilian, I'd personally suggest you get a sample of #594 by Eden Perfumes UK.

AisLilly

Pleasant powdery, creamy floral with decent longevity and moderate sillage - I agree with others that the dry down is predominantly white musk and heliotrope. Very pretty even if nothing exceptionally unique.

clairesque

Starts off as a powdery, cold violet. Very cosmetic smell. The dry down is much nicer, it's still powdery but there's a warmth and sweetness to it. I see why it's often described as a "motherly" scent, it's feminine and elegant while also being comforting. I'm surprised not to see vanilla in the notes, I suppose it could be the heliotrope giving Emozione its sweet, creamy heart. Like some I find it similar to Burberry Body but more "cold", more elegant and mature. This fragrance isn't groundbreaking or stunning, it's lacking a certain it-factor but is easy to wear for all occasions IF you enjoy powdery fragrances.

Siv7Stars

I drenched myself in this today then basically forgot about it, it was that underwhelming. I vaguely recall it's a creamy soapy floral. Not a great first impression.

Ameliadrevein

I wrote a review not long ago and expressed disappointment cuz it’s not kind of powder that I expected to be.
today I just realise I got the wrong version it’s EDT version dolce fiore.so I bought the original EDP version and omg the EDP version is what I imagine smell should be by the notes listed.
glad I found out eventually that I got the wrong version.I love the EDP much more cuz I can smell more powdery from opening to drydown.EDT version is only powdery the first few minutes then become really musk and citrusy on the drydown and I can’t stand it as way to musky for my liking.
The EDP version is definitely powdery but not a powder bomb or make up kind of powder it’s more fresh clean powdery type of scent .it’s suitable for any ages and great for summer spring weather

latafan

On first spritz this starts out extremely sharp and soapy-powdery. Like when you open a large box full of fresh floral bar soaps and make the mistake to breath in too deeply, before the first cloud emanating from the box could dissipate a bit. But that's just the first few seconds. After that first blast I also get the slightest hint of a peach note and a mix of clean florals. It's a lot more pleasing at that point, but still smells a lot like an expensive bar of floral soap. Clean and a little conservative feminine.

Where it's really at for me with this fragrance is the dry down, when the fragrances finally loses its soapiness and becomes a rather simple and straight forward mix of white musk and ever so softly sweet almost almond like Heliotrope. I love this dry down to bits! It's clean, very understated, but ultra feminine.Sillage is rather intimate on me, longevity is quite nice. That musk sticks to my skin for a day easy. I see this fitting for day or night and into any season except maybe the height of summer.

The kind of girl/woman I associate with this is someone whose hair is never frizzy, who always wears clean socks and has an unassuming but immaculate french manicure, someone who loves to wear cream colored clothes, especially her favorite mohair sweater. A little basic? Sure. But also very charming to be around all the same. And while I never was and never will be that kind of woman, I love to wear Emozione and revel in that vibe once in a while. Strong like from me.

girlieeusername

my first powdery perfume, took a few times for me to like it. it smells like a bar of soap, or pond's facial cream. so like a skincare/soap/laundry detergent scent. also a bit musky/fuzzy on the drydown. honestly i only smell the iris, musk and suede the most, not much of the peach to make it a bit fresher or modern. elegant, clean, suited for more mature ages though. i can't help but associate powdery smells w/ vintage, or old smell.

yesterday_borscht

I gave two tries to this perfume and I'm still very uncertain about it. To me, it's a dupe of Burberry's Body. the difference is that Body is woodier, sharper, and louder. in Emozione I get more powder and iris sadness. It's creamy and can be very cozy to ones who adore creams and powders. It's not loud, I'd say on me it dries down into a complete skin scent. it also has this 00's perfumes vibe in terms of sweetness. To me linear and boring, as well as round and comforting. Needless to say, it lasts on cloth and smells way more interesting than on the skin If I don't have Body I'd probably leave it in my collection. but since I have Body and love it a lot I don't need that humble twin.
Sorry, dear, I already have someone.

How such a lovely (airy, silky, feminine) beginning can turn into such a flat and synthetic wood…? I can’t call this suede. In french we say : « rater sa sortie » meaning : stumble when leaving the stage.

Edit : I didn’t sell it and kept trying regularly : how could such an agressive wood be qualified of motherly ? What was I missing ? Where was the key?
I had the answer with the Burberry Body comparison. Body taught me that less is more. If I overspray I kill the scent. I also discovered the note that I don’t like here: cedar.

Muhala

I really like this scent, just as much as I thought I would (I held high hopes for it based on reviews and on the description). It is a lovely perfume -- elegant, soft, not overpowering, but distinct and notable. I only wish it had a tad more depth for projection, but I found it long-lasting in spite of this (I applied it before church and still smelled it at day's end, though I was generous in the application). I really like that it's a woman's scent and not a girl's scent. What it lacks in playfulness it makes up for in character. Smells like you've earned a solid paycheck in your day, recognize your own dignity and worth and sidestep those who seek to compromise them. It's elegant more than sophisticated; understated more than boastful; sensual more than provocative. I really enjoyed how I smelled the rose slightly at day's end -- and I don't like rose to be overdone. All the notes were blended so well, and seemed to combine into a luscious and sensual powderiness (my husband really enjoyed). Honestly, I would purchase a full bottle, so much did I enjoy this scent and so well did it match my scent profile. Interestingly, I tend to prefer more clean/fresh/green/white floral scents, but in an intriguing way, this scent accessed another facet of my personality and essence and I appreciate that. I'm a complicated woman and this scent seemed to understand that and offered another window into the various components that make up my whole. I think it would make a great signature scent, if you are so inclined, and it's a wonderful everyday scent too, suitable for date night and the office in large part because of its subtlety and softness.

I hesitated on blind-buying Emozione due to mixed reviews and went for a sample instead. This fragrance is beautiful. It opens up citrusy and starts to dry down to a sheer watery peach, then violet. Then it starts to become slightly perfumey (not in a bad way) as it looses its initial sheerness and becomes heavier. This all happens rather quickly from the initial spray after which it becomes a creamy concoction of powdery florals, rose being one I can easily detect. It's quite modern and its powdery accord translates more to a fresh soapiness so I imagine some folks who normally dislike powdery textures may in fact appreciate this. It's a fresh clean scent with a sensual element and smells elegant altogether. Suitable for daytime wear but also strong enough for evenings out. Overall a pretty, creamy soapy iris with other floral touches.

cremaymiel

Oh myyyy. This is my first impression for this perfume, which I blind bought based off the notes. I wasn't sure what to expect because it has many notes I adore but the reviews are mixed.

This is GORGEOUS. This is so ME. Sorry for the caps but my goodness I want to bathe in this. I've never reacted to a perfume this way before. This is love at first sniff, can't stop sniffing my elbow crook. I'm definitely getting the peach and iris so far, and that amazing suede. It's like sticking my nose into a well-loved leather handbag filled with my classic beauty products. The packaging is perfect. This is utterly feminine and I'm delighted by it. After about 15 minutes the peach is becoming rounder and fleshy and musk is starting to come out. It's a very fuzzy, powdery musk and yes, I get heavy body cream vibes. I start to get the rose wayyy further into the dry down. There's something that reminds me of powdered candy coating, like the kind on mini Easter eggs or Smarties. I could see this as an everyday reach for a clean, put-together, quietly confident woman who is not too serious. She values life's simple pleasures and a dose of elegance.

Emozione may be signature scent worthy and I find myself wondering why I didn't get a larger bottle + a couple back ups.

Update: Compliments galore, definitely getting back ups ASAP!!

Update: Layering with Narciso for Her is really beautiful, I get a lot more of the rose.

Jaxie23

Blind Buy that I wish I didn't. It's way too powdery floral on me. Not soft at all. It's very, VERY strong. Too strong for me. I have a brand new 3.1 willing to trade.

StinkyTinky

How have I never heard of this before blind buying?!! I definitely see a resemblance to Love Chloe, but this is less sour, and sweeter. It’s also softer, but still has some staying power. This can be applied all over sleeves, hair, skin, and would never be too much.
Right on with the nivea body butter comparison. Of course this is more expensive smelling to me, but does have that I’m not wearing fragrance I just smell divine like luxury bath products all the time, smell.
Update: wore this yesterday and while the scent bubble is no more than an arms length, this stayed with me all day. I rarely wear perfumes back to back but I feel like I NEED this experience again..

Lee SteL

This fragrance is definitely for those who either enjoys powdery fragrances or open to it although there are still different types of “powdery” fragrances, this one comes more modern, sophisticated and wearable even if someone is normally put off by “powdery” notes. I’m actually one usually don’t like powdery scents as a guy, it reminds me of classic women’s facial powder (compact) like my mother or even my grandmother used to flip-flap on their faces. Maybe that was a talk? And usually powdery fragrances remind me of original “Oscar de la Renta” or “L’air du temps” by Nina Ricci and other classic fragrances from those eras that are still worn by basically seniors....(no offence!)
But this one, thanks to Alberto Morilla, he twisted & turned the powdery fragrance around with his magic hands, mixed with some delicious notes of peach & bergamot and also with some suede feel to give you some luxurious feel to it. This is maybe not for a young ladies in their 20’s but a bit more mature person who knows simple but good quality things. And this came to my surprise, after a little bit of apprehension to wear this on me, thinking it might be too feminine, it turned out to be very good luxurious, definitely soft elegant scent for semi formal or maybe peaceful quiet leisure time.
So if there are any guys reading this, you could also try this and it could be another hidden gem for you. I still warn you though, it is still definitely towards soft and feminine side but that is maybe because we are programmed to identify “floral” scent is for women. But after you pass that, it’s another fragrance world you can start exploring like I do! This is a gorgeous unique & pure luxury.

Green.colver

Smells like Nivea cream. But l like it. Soft and sweet. Calming...

Liene

I don't get any citrus and woodiness or dirtiness to call this chypre, as Emozione is a pure florally powder scent.
Emozione is dominated by clean musk and iris flower, also it has a good dose of peach and heliotrope and some peony grounded on the smoothest and softest suede. Other notes featured barely appear.
This perfume gives compact powder impressions - texture wise the ones finely milled but rather creamy and covering. However, refined, elegant and well blended. The peach is more like peach-fuzz, fruit itself - not the juice; flowers do not get bitter or dewy and fresh. Everything here serves to underline clean and soft, powdery musk and iris.

When applied in reasonable amounts, it's clean, comforting, non-intrusive, but present, feminine, well balanced between airy and dense. It is slightly sensual (as any perfume can be), but also slightly romantic and soft. I'd prefer it in the daytime in transitional seasons, more in warmer and milder days, but it's pretty much all occasions appropriate, and could work in some nighttime settings, as well.
Sillage has moderate strength and soft character. Staying power up to six hours, close to the skin some four more.
If I would have up to five perfumes, I would like to have Emozione as an easy reach for everyday wear, keeping it classy and elegant (however, knowing I like powdery scents).

Kittycat

Hello dears ! I'm well on my way, so here's a comment on one of my favourite fragrances: Emozione ("Emotion") by Salvatore Ferragamo, who was originally an Italian shoe designer but released his first fragrance in 1960. Meanwhile, there are, about 90 fragrances, for him and her.
I must say that I like Emozione by far the best of all the fragrances I know of from this brand. Through an exchange I got this - a stroke of luck and bull's eye.
Yes, scents arouse emotions. They can stir up, aphrodise, but also calm and soothe, lift the spirits and evoke memories The fragrance "Emozione" is, briefly described, (Nivea) cream with peach on white musk, so above all fruity and creamy with powdery sweetness (just right for me). A similarity with the vintage Trésor from Lancome is not to be denied in my opinion. I can also sniff out a slight fine leather note. As simple as all this sounds, the perfume appears noble, multi-layered and delicate, as I wouldn't have expected it. I feel very balanced and at peace with myself. It simply suits me !
Thanks to its noble appearance, "Emozione" is suitable for everyday use as well as for going out.
I have to praise the sprayer of the bottle very much, a fine spray mist comes out, which is distributed evenly and not drop by drop. The shelf life and the silage are above average.
This fragrance is also available online at sensationally low prices.
My recommendation for women who are looking for something special, but do not want to spend a hundred Dollar on it.

blue_sand

Nice and warm perfume, although this smells cool on me. Smooth flowery and musky to me. Something about this perfume reminds me of my childhood. The smell from morning schooldays. I cant figure it out but maybe its the smell of perfumed talc someone wore it in 90s.
I have a small bottle of this perfume. I don't wear it daily because it is not my kind of scent. But I will sure keep it to remind me of the good old days!

Acqua_Gio

I don't plan on getting this perfume, based on what "echurch1979" wrote.

But, I do want to compliment her on the brilliant description of what happened when she sprayed the perfume, and especially her use of alliteration! Well done.

echurch1979

Let me briefly discuss why this perfume doesn't work.
Upon first spray, I am smacked in the face with a powder bomb: Violent violet and mangy musk open this aggressively "feminine" experience. And if that was all, that would be plenty, but there is a strange sharpness, I can only attribute to bergamot and heliotrope, given the list of ingredients. Both of which utterly annihilate poor little peach and prim peony. After an extensive dry down, and all of the sour notes have dissipated, the resulting scent is far more pleasant. But who should have to wait that long for any reasonable olfactory development. Salvatore throws every powdery soft scent at the wearer, until all sense of composition is lost. Such a disappointment, and lesson to all that dabble in this magic - sometimes less is more, and sometimes cheap prices indicate unpopular results.

Gicha

My mistake was to buy this scent after reading several reviews. I was looking for something feminine, smooth, mild floral and a bit powdery but on my skin it smells mild for myself but my husband told me that I smell very heavy, unpleasant and seems that it's because of patchouli. I do not feel like it's my scent as well because it seems outdated a little, very serious so to say. My children told me that on opening I smell like over saturated soup. I'll be using this scent when I'm alone at home so nobody winces :)

SeauxGood

Classy and timeless, without being stuffy and matronly. I turned 40 this year, so I’ve been looking for scents that don’t make me smell like my mother, but also won’t lean toward my teenaged daughters. This fragrance does exactly that. You can smell the peach, but it’s not “fruity.” The florals blend well together, with a soft musky dry-down. I was skeptical about what exactly “suede” notes are supposed to mean, but now that I’m wearing it, I get it. The elegance and sophistication of this would be great for date night. I definitely am glad to add this to my collection.

Ameliadrevein

Not successful blind buy this time. It’s winter here in Australia not sure it will change the scent in summer season.all I can smell is musk and citrus remind me of oscar de la renta live in love .there a bit powdery in the opening and its become citrus and musky in 10 minutes all the way to dry down zero powder very disappointed 😔 citrus used to be my favourite notes now I just can’t stand too much citrus perfume no more

Wilka

I'm not writing about notes but about emotions. I boight this perfume some time ago because of its name and because of Ferragamo brand. Italians are said to be perfectionists at what they fo and frsgrances are not the exception. The first time I wore this one, it reminded me of my mother, my early childhood, my home and its warmth... You know what I mean. I can't tell the reason for this, as my .other didn't ever wore a fragrance: we couldn't affird it. Thus,I wonder if maternal milk has such a flavour or smells like this... Sandal is said to smell very much like maternal milk. Sorry if I'm rude but this is the reaso n why,in my view, the name of this fragrance is so accurate...

justfloral

Rose (with raspberry undertones) + peach + effervescent powdery note (iris, heliotrope and suede) + traces of washing powder (musk) and patchouli. Floral, powdery (not sour), sparkling, clean. Pleasant, comfortable like wearing your favorite soft cotton sweater on sunday. I get Coco Mademoiselle and Tresor vibes, it is also similar to L'Elue Remy Latour. More quiet than Coco Mademoiselle, more powdery and less fruity than Tresor (I'm not a fan of "plumy" rose in Tresor).

Supersmelle

The Short: I love this fragrance.

The Long: This is a clean powdery floral. I can really smell iris and rose. Complex with leathery cashmere softness. There is no candy sugar in this one but, it does give off a little sweetness. Maybe it is from the floral notes.

The scent is full bodied. Projection is about 1 ft and has a surprisingly long stay on the skin 6+hrs. I get whiffs of it throughout the day. Generally, don't need to touch up because it sticks on clothes. This is a pearl of a fragrance. Love it.

It must just be me , my chemistry . There are certain scentuals that just smell like " stink " those notes combined usually smell of alcohol , dirt , sour , and a smell I just can't put a name too . It was that way with this , until more than 4 hours later ~ I got a peachy , powdery , musky scent with a touch of violet thrown in . It's performance was similar to all of his line on me ~ I have several , and from first spritz I want to get it off my skin . I resist the urge because I know the payoff will come and " stun me " as to how I can go from one perceived aroma to one that I have not encountered before . This was a delight , and I could smell it for about an hour after waking up . I'll just have to make a plan when wearing to place on clothes , wrists , several hours before leaving , my scent tester { my kitty } will smell my right wrist a lot when she likes , since she is almost always in my lap when I'm on computer . She has grabbed at wrist or nuzzles me , she has even rubbed herself on my clothes when taking off . I will end by saying this is not a love , but she is far beyond infatuation yet not too close to obsession ~ ///=^} ~

Emozione is elegant, soft, feminine. Like a silk scarf. It smells clean, powdery, rosy with a touch of suede (like in new Chloe Nomade). It is also in the same vein as Chanel L eau 5. Stays close to the skin, but quite long. Sillage is soft. Overall very classy and compliment getter.

kayleenanncooke

I put this on before bed and I wake up and it is still there. Great strength and it layers beautifully with Nivea cream. They smell so similar.

Luckyrose

HI BEAUTIFUL FRIENDS. CAN SOMEONE KINDLY SUGGEST A DUPE FOR THIS DISCONTINUED FRAGRANCE? THE CLOSEST I CAN FIND IS CHLOE LOVE WHICH IS ALSO DISCONTINUED 😭 Thank you ladies

kayleenanncooke

Wow this is really impressive. So creamy like lotion but in the best way. It is the perfect "MOM" smell. Like a young mom in her 20's. I got it for a good deal at Marshall's with a lotion. I think this perfume is perfect for rainy days.

Omg goodness it so good whaaaaaat. Its one of those things that is like a childhood scent memory. Smells like Nivea

joliecat

This is a truly feminine leather fragrance. On my skin, the leathery suede note smells very strong, realistic and velvety, exactly like expensive gloves. The suede note lasts with intensive strength, never fading away. White musk appears as a delicate chic thin powdery veil that wraps around, softens and enhances all the beautiful sweet flowers. I don't notice any peach after the initial spray, and the patchouli is barely there.

Emozione lasts easily 16 hours on my skin with consistently strong projection. It's a high quality , modern, silky smooth, ultra feminine, classy perfume.

nugenmak000

I thought I would like this because of the notes, I assumed it would be soft, however the first spray makes it unbearable. It is pungent and punchy alcohol fruit smell. I don't hate it once it dries down, but the beginning almost sends me into an asthma attack.

ILikeToSmellNice

I'm loving this perfume so much! It's ultra feminine, sour & sweet floral with an abstract hint of powder. Pure class. I don't agree with the old lady reference unfortunately as I can't actually pinpoint what perfume age this resembles. It smells neither young nor old to me. In fact it's very abstract and I'd say it's a contemporary classic. Elegant and classy are two words that come to mind when I smell this. Love. I'm so glad I own this as it's starting to get harder to find!

ivadim

Nikkafragrance

Today I got my 50 ml bottle of Emozione and I am really happy it's still around. So I spritzed 5 generous sprays and now I am in heaven. A very feminine perfume, a real powdery masterpiece. It's slightly softer than I expected, I mean I tested it a year ago and it smelled sharper to my nose, maybe because it was in the winter. Upon the first 10 mins I smelled very prominent iris and heliotrope. Now it's been half an hour since I am wearing it and I detect a lovely peach note, while the musk is still subtle. Somehow I don't get the suede note, I guess I have to give it some more time. What I love most about Emozione is than it's a super versatile fragrance, you can wear it in the office, on a romantic date and it's almost sure you'll be complimented. I just don't get all those mature women references, sorry, but it's a modern, gentle fragrance, not a heavy aldehydic bomb. The whole perception that a young, girly perfume should be consisted of pure sugar, IMO is ridiculous. On a different note the pendant is pretty, as well the whole packaging. I hope I can purchase a back up bottle until this vanish into the universe of great discontinued fragrances forever.
EDIT: It's been five hours since I am wearing it and the drydown is pure Nivea cream on my skin. I am in love!

sitingqueen

As soon as I saw this was discontinued, I went on a hunt for a full bottle, and was successful. I had a mini which I was very pleased with. This is a very feminine ladylike scent. Think old money, monochrome/pastel clothing and pearls. The white musk gives this some staying power and the heliotrope and Iris provide some “class”. The powder is very subdued, a satin pillow upon which the florals gently float upward.
I rarely wax poetic in my reviews but this one is very dreamy for me. Moderate longevity and soft sillage. A very safe blind buy.

sibaraa

A timeless classic. The peachy opening is outstanding!!! The iris and heliotrope show up after the first 5 minutes, making it slightly powdery and the peach remains the king of this perfume. This is extremely gorgeous!

liverpudlian78

I was going to risk blind buying this perfume as it is still available on the Notino website, but I'm glad I didn't. For some reason, I didn't get powder so much as quite sharp floral which is somewhat rounded off, or, as another reviewer put it, seems to have had a veil thrown over it. It is still just predominantly white flowers to my nose, and I don't like them in this concentration.

If you like powder, I'd test this first and see what you get from it, especially if you're not a fan of white florals.
Don't get me wrong, it's a nicely blended scent, just not my style at all.

Astara_Elaria

Sorry @gourmandlover for my late answer, I saw your question just now. I believe that it's really discontinued, although I got my backup bottle in an online shop myself - and there it is still available. But it already vanished from the official website of Salvatore Ferragamo.
Excuses for my bad grammar, english is not my native language.

Gourmandlover

It´s nice, it´s lovely, I like it. An elegant floral and powdery scent. A few years ago I would have thought of it as too 'mature', too boring. Now I can appreciate it for what it is. I think it's clean smelling too. Sillage is moderate and longevity on clothes is over 24 hours. I don't know how it behaves on skin, because I only sprayed it on my clothes yet. But it's definitely not too soft in my opinion.

Update: a week later and it still gives off the scent from my jacket to my clothes and I sprayed just once! I'm starting to like it more and more. I'm really glad I have a bottle of it. Is it true that it has been discontinued according to the reviewers who mentioned it? Because I can still see it available in a lot of online shops. I really hope it's not true because it would be a shame.

Astara_Elaria

I'm sorry to say, but I'm afraid this elegant and distinctive fragrance will be discontinued. For my part, I'll keep a backup bottle, as a reminder of a good time in my life, happy spring time with my kids and good mood at my job. This powdery and grown up fragrance really lifted me up, as I have always been a lover of rose and iris and heliotrope fragrances. Goodbye, beautiful.

iankatzer

This is such a lovely perfume. Very chic and modern. Heliotrope in combination with iris are pleasant combination. It creates nice soft powdery cloud around you I don't consider out-dated or retro. Not sweet at all. It lasts for hours on my skin and on clothes for days and days. But the most amazing part of this pefume is the sprayer - so gentle mist, that most even more fancy perfumes miss. Great for any occasion or season. I don't smell it often on other people, such a rare sent to came across, which makes it more exquisite to me. Love, love, love!

bronni666

blind bought this one today and my first thought was powdery, hint of peach. quite nice. then i forgot about it and couldnt detect it on me after 1 hour. so i sprayed again and seriously, i still cant smell it. not sure if its disappearing after 5 mins or if my nose just cant pick it up. either way, it is a waste to me cos i love being able to smell my perfume or there is no point.

Gwenhwyfar

Powdery - is a new concept for me as a lover of gourmand, fresh or fruity fragrances mostly, but I see myself loving it in the long run. It has a comforting, stabilizing, mature quality to it. Maybe it reminds me of other powdery floral perfumes my mother used to wear when I was a child. But Emozione doesn't feel old-fashioned in the least, it's a modern take on matronly fragrances of yesteryear. And I mean "matronly" in an affectionate, not condescending way. Now it's almost winter time where I live, so a little bit of medicinal bitterness of iris comes through in the drydown. I don't think cold weather does justice to floral scents. Spring and summer seems to be more appropriate season to fully enjoy this fragrance.
The bottle is very chic, heavy and expensive-looking.
Definitely recommend to gourmand and fruitchouli fans who want to learn to appreciate powdery elegant lady-like perfumes. The hint of sweetness due to peach and rose notes helps in this process.

raiza1990

Very pleasant perfume. Sweet, fruity, creamy. The only thing that i don't like is the powder, but i can live with it.
It reminded me of Fan di Fendi extreme in the drydown, but this one is not so citrusy, it is more fruity and not so floral like FDF Extreme.
Projection is great in the first hour and longevity is 3 hours and counting.
I will give it a 7/10

Manya3

This perfume has everything I liked about other powdery florals I used to love but have gotten over with: the powdery sweetness of Annick Goutal's 'Charlotte' drydown - even though the notes are different, the feeling I get is similar. And its clean dressed up part reminds me of D&G Sicily, only less in-your-face opinionated, more introverted.
Headnotes are a bit peppery, but then it's all powdery and soft, comfy and warm ; very feminine, very agreeable. It stays quite close to the skin but then lasts for the entire day (and longer on clothes). It is a deceptively simple fragrance that has become my go-to on a daily basis and I just hope they keep making it forever because I don't even want to imagine to be without it <3

Seducianne

Morillas did a great job on this one. There's just enough of everything, I can smell the powdery flowers, the rose and the citrus very clearly. Very versatile, I would say it is best worn in spring, but it could play nicely also in moderate wintertime and also chillier summer days. Good for daytime and evening and also special occasions and I can also picture it as a good signature scent, since it's soft enough not to bother, but also special enough for one to wish to smell like this. Well done Ferragamo!

GodleWska

I absolutely do not like sweet smells, but this one is very delicate and ideally suited for the autumn-winter period. In the summer he will be a little bit. It keeps well, even on the second day the pillow smells and it's after the shower.

Single rose in the forest

I am not a fan of Ferragamo but I have to say this is great. So sexy and carefree...but classy also. There is a dirty vibe that captivated me from the first sniff. I would swear there is some salt in there but there isn't.Mostly spring -summer perfume but I wear it all year round. Very nice little sweet and powdery but not boring at all.

perfumeglam87

This is beautiful & elegant. Fancy dress and heels is the best way to describe it. I would only wear this out with friends or a nice date. Its a soft powdery floral. Very tolerable. 25 and older Reminds me of lancome tresor Xo

edit: also similar to emporio armani lei

I have a lot of time for Salvatore Ferragamo fragrances, although admittedly I don't love every single one they've released. Emozione is one of the more recent releases from their line, and I find it rather impressive.

Emozione is almost like a cross between Chanel's Coco Mademoiselle and Stella McCartney's Stella. It has the crisp, clean floral chypre aroma found in the Chanel, and a crisp rose-peony blend which draws some comparisons to Stella. Together these two distinctive aromas work surprisingly well.

The most dominant notes to my nose include peony, peach, bergamot, violet, suede and patchouli. I would describe it as smelling both clean and elegant.

This fragrance is an easy crowd-pleaser and is extremely wearable. I am not surprised by the vast outpouring of love for this fragrance on the forums. I'm amazed, however, that Emozione isn't more popular in the stores. You would think the combination of an attractive, classy bottle with a long-lasting, feminine scent would be enough. In so saying, Emozione has been on the market for well over three years, so perhaps it's one of the underdogs in the current perfume industry.

I would highly recommend this fragrance to those that love Chanel fragrances and also those with an appreciation for floral scents.

alexisx

In the cold May rain I wear Emozione with a soft and dusty iris blanket, the soft fullness of a velvety peach consoles me, the heart wanders among the sweet and feminine peony flowers combined with Bulgarian rose and heliotrope, which recline on the patchouli, on the suede and on the white musk, the bright bergamot shakes me.
Moderate sillage and high persistence.

evatgirl73.1

Just got a rollerball of this, figured for $6 I couldn’t really pass it up..!
It IS a very pretty fragrance. Is it me though..? No, not really. It is a totally safe scent, something I would wear to appear conservative, demure and elegant (all things I am not). Brunch with your daughters boyfriends parents? This is your perfume. Me, I will wear Signorina Misteriosa, lol! I’m sure I will find times where this is a great choice but I am not sure I will ever LONG to wear this and be as excited about it as I am about some of my other fragrances.
Update: well, I’ll be a monkeys uncle.... I am finding myself strangely drawn to this. There is some sophisticated note in it that has me reaching for it more and more. Looking to get a FB now, and just blind bought the Dolce Fiore flanker because I found it at a great price..! I always look for reviews and notes and there are some Ferragamo fragrances I know I won’t waste my time on, but the ones I have (4 so far) have worked really well on my skin.

Astara_Elaria

Love? I had a love and hate relationship with Emozione when it came out.
When I sampled the fragance I got mild peach and sweet rose, but when I bought a big bottle, two things happened: All I got was a kind of "body lotion scent", I thought it had no sillage and longevity at all (boy, was I wrong - my co-workers know...).
Sometimes I could smell it - and got Iris, Iris, Iris...like a medicinical powder for harmed skin. That one my mother used when I was a child. Down to the deepest shelf it went...
One year later, I tried to use up the bottle. It was a warm day in May. I sprayed it and my seven year old boy child exclaimed with deep love in his voice: Mum, that's just the best "mommy" scent you own.
Well - I nearly melted. Suddenly I could smell it myself: Rose, Peony and musk with a powdery peach. At cold days I still get the pronounced Iris Note. But now I can also smell the wonderful almondy heliotrope. And I just love that. Sprayed only spairly, the Iris can dominate. Sprayed generously, the sweetness of the peach wins. Strike!
Though the fruity elements this is not a fruity or girly scent. It's elegant, as it was mentioned before, and also a true kind of a "Mum's scent.". Lovely.
Love? Yes - a true love. Not an affair. We've grown together with time.
Recommended for lovers of "Love, Chloe" and "Narciso Poudre".

Erinbath22

Emozione reminds me of some kind of peachy or apricot powder with the scent of tangy yogurt served with it. Not ice cream- that would be too sweet. There is something a little sweet/fluffy versus slightly sour or tangy going on here that is really pleasant and keeps this from being boring or too sweet. I wanted to keep sniffing it.

I'd say it's one to try if you like powders or soft musks, and you also need to like peach/apricot. I think it combines those starchy, vanillary, powdery type of florals and musk-buffed fruits into a really polished, beautiful scent. It is long-lasting on me.

GrandmaGaga

This reminds me quite a bit of Chloe Love...even down to the little gold chain on the bottle! EDIT Wow, I have really grown to love this elegant scent...much more so than Chloe, Love. It is understated, lightly powdery, very feminine.

Linda JK

I've just now received Emozione and couldn't wait to wear it. This was a blind-buy but I was confident I would like it based on the description of the notes and specific YouTube reviews.

I was stoked to learn that Alberto Morillas is the nose behind this scent. I own several perfumes that he's done, so I'm not surprised that I love this one too. There's something gorgeous, charming, and elegant about this fragrance.

It's clean, warm, fresh, powdery, and appropriate for any occasion, especially the office. The notes that stand out the most to me are the iris, rose, heliotrope, and peach.

Several people have indicated that this perfume works better for more mature women, but those in their 20s can pull it off as well.

The notes are very well blended, producing something creamy and clean. This one will definitely garner many compliments given its softness and wearability.

There's something so endearing about Emozione that I keep sniffing my wrist and also re-applied it before the day was done because the longevity was not what I expected it to be for an EDP. I think this would not be the case if I'd bought it from an actual department store, as opposed to an online perfume outlet, where fragrances *may* be watered down.

This fragrance works very well with my body chemistry hence my confidence in re-applying it, which I wouldn't do with several other fragrances.

I can already tell that I'll have an "in-between" relationship with this fragrance where I like it, but don't particularly love it enough to reach for it every day.

Good or bad, there are certain fragrances that are unforgettable. Some fragrances screech and cause migraines, nausea, or heartburn, so you never, ever forget them.

Others are not even high end but are so endearing, that you reach for them every day for weeks before you consider switching to something else.

Emozione is not one of the latter. There is nothing unique about it. While the scent is beautiful, it's very familiar-- like other fragrances in my arsenal/something I've used in the past.

I used it today, but I'll switch to something else for the rest of this week(end), and come back to it again the week after.

Still, I sprayed it on a piece of paper that I keep on my desk, so every so often, I catch a whiff of this beautiful, soft, creamy, clean scent that sits longer on the paper than it does on my skin or top.

Bottom line: this is a safe blind-buy. And while it's not a love, I can see myself repurchasing it just because it is perfect for office/every day wear.

Edemay

Starts with a powdery blast while also reminding me of the smell of dolls.
I start smelling hints of peach which blend nicely.
But then theres a kind of fizzy citrus that comes into play.
Overall it smells powdery and soft but there is a little balmy sweet depth to it.
Its quite unique and a love or hate.
I think it also smalls calm and classy but also very comforting, like something I could see on a mother.
Also this lasts forever on the skin, even after a shower a caught a warm sweet smell coming from my wrist and it was this.

Annabear

Gorgeous, just gorgeous! This is the fragrance that gets the most compliments from other women. It's not the sexy lady killer vamp fragrance, it's one that your female friends and co-workers will admire and comment on and ask what you're wearing. Soft, pretty, flowery and feminine.

Rising_Phoenix

I got this as a mini tester sprayer with an order of another perfume. I already had Signorina Misteriosa and knew Salvatore Ferragamo has quality stuff. I sprayed it on myself and was a bit overwhelmed by the harsh alcohol smell and was prepared to be disappointed. A short time later I started craving peach cobbler a la mode. I was like...why am I daydreaming of dessert right now? I sniffed my arm and was blown away by the powdery vanilla peach scent that was coming off it. I was in love. I had not really known about this perfume before since it's listed as a powdery-floral. I am very much ANTI floral perfumes cuz they're just not me. I don't like smelling like I was stumbling around in a flower field somewhere. I wore this around my male friend and he couldn't stop talking about how great it smelled to him.
I judge how much I like a perfume by how often I have to return to it on my own skin for a 'sniff fix', LOL. This one had me going back quite often. I immediately put it on the list for my following batch of perfume orders.
The bottle is very simple but nice. The little charm hanging off it reminds me of handcuffs, though! Haha! It's alright. This is one perfume I wouldn't mind being cuffed to. :D

Ravensaw

This is my go to for a powdery fix. It's dusty and soft. I would love to see EMOZIONE FLORALE included in the database

nitschevo

Gorgeous fragrance and a great fit for the brand, I think. My best friend has this and on her it is a powdery, warm but also fresh scent. Fresh in a way that the new Balmain Ivory also smells fresh to me. A tad soapy cleanliness and also similar to Prada Infusion d'Iris. They're not alike, mind you, but they belong to the same family of polished, womanly elegance. Iris and musk are very noticeable, the heliotrope adds a tad of sweetness, I believe. On her patch and the rest of the notes are rather in the backseat. Fabulous, elegant bottle - ladies, this is a winner.

kati77

Powdery, feminine scent. A little cashmere in the impression of the recipient, I would not say its chypre. At first light sweet rose, then disappears and iris with peach and musk dominates. The durability of good 6 hours, then it sings subtly. It has something elegant though it has no proverbial claw, it is sensual slightly sexy.

Mirella86

I only have a sample of this fragrance and I kinda like it, but it turns very sour on my skin after half an hour. Too bad, the opening is really a beautiful elegant floral and it's also very long lasting.

alexisdavid1892

I love this! It smells expensive (and it should be, because it's expensive here in our place)! Very sophisticated floral-powdery smell that can transition from office to date night. I'm in love. Last for more than 6 hours on me. Sillage is moderate for the first 4 hours and becomes a skin - scent until I take a bath.

genny17

This is the second time I have Emozione in my collection, I swapped it the first time, and I am still on the fence with it...I like the notes, but on me I don't quite enjoy the overall undertone...it is classy, old fashioned, and I don't quite like wearing it...it has the Morillas touch, classy, easy to wear, but maybe a tad simplistic,,I agree with the former reviewer that it has a soapy vibe too,I réalise it isn't for me, I love Iris, but it doesn't waow me in that perfume..it is quite powdery too, makes me think of love by Chloe in a way...I guess the second try confirms that this isn't my cup of tea.l.

Wathgwen

I had such high hopes for this one- iris, suede, bergamot, rose? Sounded like a different take on Kelly Caleche, which I love.

However, though the first blast is great, it immediately settles into a sickly sweet peach-peony, like brandless liquid soap in a cheap hotel. No suede, no rose, no iris past the first few seconds. Big disappointment on me, and leather notes usually really get a boost on my skin.

hails_blogger

This perfume is so pretty. I decided I had to have a bottle. Its sillage is pretty amazing considering it is a soft floral fragrance.
On initial spray I have found it doesnt do much for me but after an hour or two the fragrance changes. The white musk and floral notes begin to push through to the intial iris. This is when the fragrance smells amazing!

Ann92

Had a bad experience with peach before but then, I decide to give it a try. Blind bought it and I was amazed how fresh and powdery it is. I admit it suits elder women but the opening scent is so good. To me, it suits for use of nights out. Not a good idea if you're gonna go outdoors and get sweaty cause the peach powdery smell will get nasty.

gabri

I recommend the velvety body cream.Makes the skin soooooooooooo silky...

sretana

At first sniff, it's a sweet fruity frangrance, a lot of peach. But at least on me, it dries down into pure baby powder.

Vegas Pauli

Starts off very fresh and fruity. I was thinking like juicy watermelon, but looking at the notes its probably the peach and bergamot combo. Once that settles its all peony, rose with a hefty big dose of iris. The iris makes this slightly powdery and plasticy and might be headache inducing for some. Overall I'd desribe this as light and fresh and a good choice for summertime. To me the suede and patchouli is non-existent. For being a fresh fruity scent, I give it kudos for not being overly sweet but I'll take a few points off for lacking any originality. Thumbs maybe sideways on this one.

katja blue

The most beautiful, sophisticated fragrance for women Salvatore Ferragamo has ever created. I'm very impressed. I think it's the least linear perfume I have ever tried and loved. Emozione is elegant and long lasting. On my skin it's barely fruity, and slightly sweet. The dry down is very powdery. I also tested Emozione Dolce Fiore but didn't care for it.

bjer-don

Wow. Love it! I have to be careful with peach notes. Peaches in a scent usually end up smelling like a rotting fruit bowl on my skin (think Burberry Woman, BLECH!) With Emozione, the peach is fresher, I guess due to the addition of musk.

This scent is everything I wanted Love Chloe to be. Love Chloe turned into a heavy powder on my skin and rendered me breathless, but not in a good way. With Emozione, I get a powdery scent, but with the slight juiciness of the peach and a creaminess from the heliotrope.

Silage is noticeable and longevity is very good. If you are looking for a more refined yet still youthful scent, this would be it.

Fiury22

Is just heavenly, so nice and classy... sexy, love it... get compliments all the time.

honeybaby

The first few times I tried this it smelled like spit. Like when you were a kid and you licked your hand and smelled it. (You know what I'm saying?) I tried it at least three times from samples and I smelled spit each time. But tonight - for some reason I tried it again and I had a whole other experience. I love it. There's something in it that reminds me of Love in White by Creed - a perfume I tried to love - but I didn't - except for the milky ricey aspects. (And almond?) Anyway, I am amazed by how the spit smell is not there anymore.

2 years later... I've purchased two bottles now!

deakrek

I can totally see this one becoming the new "La vie est belle" or "Elie Saab EDP" because it's available everywhere in Germany and the whole Europe right now for an affordable price. Wear this one now y'all before everyone else does the same :)

Very safe, very likeable scent with a huge sillage.

Afer trying it on for a whole day: very artificial smelling, only for HUGE flowery fans. Very "mature" scent.

dyaver

Powdery floral fragrance - feminine, classy and elegant. In the dry down it actually reminds me of Burberry My Burberry - probably because of the notes of rose, patchouli, musk and leather, however Emozione is softer than My Burberry. One cannot dislike it. Perfect for office wear, as a blind buy, and as a gift.

Jmalone84

Slightly baby powderish opening which I wasn't sure about. The heart reminded me of a cute little fragrance I bought for a friend- Private Klub by Karl Lagerfeld (tacky I know, but surprisingly good). That is, that I thought I smelled almond blossom. This is very soft, vulnerable and feminine, with a cleanness to it that is quitw lovely. Not sure it's my style but wouldn't say no to a bottle. Fresh, musky, powdery feminine sums this one up. Not unlike burberry body actually.

Kai'elle

Gorgeous Suede Musk with a hint of Heliotrope. Absolutely beautiful...but disappointingly Light and weak. After as little a 5 minutes it becomes a skin scent that can only be smelled by stuffing your nose into the crook of your arm. Such a shame :(

The scent itself reminds me a little of Kenzo Jeu D'Amour, especially during mid and dry down.

Emozione is a safe, feminine fragrance. Very refined, classy and quite charming. Slightly powdery and full of grace. For those that love a scent that essentially becomes part of your skin - this could be your next love :)

ptilda

This is a gorgeous fragrance. I am of course partial to many scents with leather our suede in them, and this is no exception. It's not quite a love, because it hovers on the edge of delicate. But somehow I could see myself wearing this quite a lot if I had a full bottle. It's simply lovely and easy. It won't smell too... Anything. It's just feminine, sophisticated, and refined.

A touch of powder, a touch a suede, and a touch of fresh flowers. Just like the stylish woman who wears it.

LadyIva

This is an extremely generic floral chypre for women who like to play it safe. It is pleasant enough, but there's nothing interesting or original about it.

pink_pepper

Such a beautiful scent. I tested this in a cosmetic store and I fell in love. Emozione is an elegant, feminine and romantic perfume. It is innocent, powdery but also sexy. This is such a safe scent that you can use it anywhere Moreover, Longevity is perfect. However, in my country it is so expensive.

HillTop

Strange, all I can smell on my skin is a green green apple. Not sweet and not powdery either. This smell reminds me on still water with taste of green apples and it doesn't change after hours. Patchouli and roses are not detectable at all. It's light and fresh so it's supposed to be the bergamot and a touch of musk. Must be my chemistry that it doesn't work so better do not blind buy.

margarita.angelova

This is one of the most generic scents out there.

MademoiselleMaya

It's a rather soapy floral, delicate, clean and formal but nicely balanced. Not my style, I prefer my scents to have more personality, but elegant, gentle and of decent quality.
Worn in a cold November weather it deepens and has very good presence. Looks like one of the good structured scents that change with the weather :)

NYCgirl

Fabulous! Sophisticated, wearable, sweet, and formal. Ideal for a night out at the theater or a rather formal restaurant. I like the spice! This scent reminds me of Ferragamo shoes: dressy, stylish, and not showy.

Elegance and style in a bottle! And the bottle... a beauty also. I find Emozione the best in what Si, Dahlia Noir edp and La vie est belle wanted to be and didn't make it for me. One was too fruity or too powdery or too sweet. It has something in common with Coco Noir too which I love.
This one is perfect! No wonder: Alberto Morillas is behind many good fragrances.
Sillage is enough to be noticed, longevity is yet to be evaluated, but who cares, you can spray it again and again (by the way the spraying system is so fine). So far so good. Yes: peach, rose, citrus, woods, patchouli and musk in the best combination...
I guess this one can be worn any time of the day or night and any season.
Since I discovered Poison I wasn't so in love with a scent.
I am thrilled and happy!

Longevity is already over 3 hours and I get these marvelous wafts as I walk and turn...

senalica

A very beautiful aroma, it has hints of sweet fruit, nicely combined with floral notes and musk. Very light, delicate and lovely when I test it on a paper strip, but on my skin the light sweet notes get heavier, the powdery note comes out and takes over. Too bad it is not very long lasting, but it is beautiful. And also - the bottle is very classy.

Talicalicia

Emozione is a soft powdery scent. Not your grandmas talc or baby powder bit something soft and indefinable. Floral but not cloying and very smooth and silky at the application where most other perfumes you sort of wince back from and wait for the first blast to pass before you decide. Very elegant and ultra safe for the office without being too drab and boring like a lot of other office safe scents can become when EVERYONE wears the same sort of bland accords for fear of offending anyone. This one is just sheer understated class.

Purply_hazy

Probably one of the best I have on my collection. Perfect for office wear. Scent speaks of class and elegance. It makes me feel like a lady boss! :)

Lilithorvat

A nice, billowy scent, but as below said, it's another "pretty" fragrance in a sea of pretty fragrances. The bottle is pretty too with the charming little chain. I was surprised to like it since I despise iris, however in this its blended well enough for me to tolerate.

Another crowd pleaser, it's nice, but nothing to write home about. It is well blended, soft silage, longevity moderate. Great for a romantic setting, would be lovely as a date/Valentine gift. It does change a bit as it dries, each note making an appearance over time, these reviews are pretty accurate.

HeidiLynn

This is a lovely soft floral; I really didn't get a lot of powder, despite the iris and heliotrope; not the way I usually smell powder from these notes, anyway. Instead, it was like a sharp white floral....with a veil cast over it, softening the edges, giving it a pastel sense. I give credit to the iris and heliotrope for that effect, which is pleaant and somewhat unique. I think some of that powdery smoothness could come from the peach, which is almost a throwback to a Grosjman style peach (Tresor-like, but not nearly so heady nor so golden).

There is still a bit of "edge" to it, almost peppery and almost citrus but not strongly either. It is not a fierce white floral, so this might appeal to those (like me) who find florals too sharp or abrasive. It is quite feminine but not fruity or too light or silly (not girly, if you will).

Sillage is good, and longevity as yet undetermined.

I love LOVE LOVE this scent. It is very special, utterly enchanting, clean cashmere suede, sexy evolving and mine.

magda14012

It is a fullbodied scent, beautiful peony and roses plus woody base. Definetely, the best that ever tested out of Ferragamo perfumes. However at some point it becomes a bit to sweet for my likening. Very elegant and classy overall.

ellina1984

Powdery, but also creamy at times, with prominent heliotrope. It gets sweeter as it progresses, and I could have sworn there's vanilla in there, not very nicely done, either. Nothing special.

Perfume2009

Smells really good! I was surprised by how nice Emozione smelled. I was also surprised by how different it smells from other new releases. It's a fruity-floral opening joined by musk and drying down to a makeupy, lotionyscent. It's an inoffensive scent that goes through enough changes to keep things interesting. I'd like a bottle.

Alberto Morillas REALLY loves women !

luna morena

I became a proud owner of this beauty, it's extremely beautiful!

I love this perfume. Powdery, nostalgic, and very feminine. Transports you back to a time of elegant women at their boudoir delicately patting on powder and carefully applying their rouge. I find this to be a rather unusual modern release, it's definitely unique amongst the newer perfumes being churned out. I classify this in the same category of powdery, lipstick-accord perfumes such as Bvlgari Pour Femme, Balenciaga Paris, FM Lipstick Rose, and Chanel Misia. However it doesn't have that candied violet scent like the others, instead it relies on iris, heliotrope, rose, and suede to give it that velvety, beautiful touch. Alberto Morillas creates some very beautiful fragrances that capture the essence of femininity.

Antares811

Powdery floral, delicate, feminine and extremely elegant.
Gorgeous.

The key word for this could be "the elegance", starting with the scent and ending with the bottle. Something perfect without being over the top, expensive in a reserved, polite, accessible way. I associate this with something white and pure, but still rather mature and serious ( in a good, attracting way). There's something from the modern Chanel there, a touch, a vibe, a nuance. The opening is a light, juicy, sweet fruit mixture, then I find a big, rare, white flower bouquet (the rose and the peony are well balanced by the citrus note which is still present, but not overpowering) tied with a white, shimmering satin ribbon. And then I see a pair of light, soft, white leather gloves just next to me. The leather note is very well incorporated here, it makes the perfume "deeper" and makes it last (just like our emotions). The dry down on me becomes slightly powdery, smells like high quality cosmetics.
A drop of sophistication. An emotional journey back to myself. A sunny smile on a rainy day. The timeless elegance.

Lynee'99

I have found most Ferragamo fragrances either too sweet and cloying or too spicy. They got this one just right in my opinion. I am not as nuanced as some of the other reviewers who can identify each note in a fragrance, but Emozione is very soft and classy. I do smell the peach on application but quickly the soft floral comes in. The staying power on me is long lasting but in a very understated manner. By far what is most spectacular about the item is the spray! I could never count how many perfumes I have purchased in my lifetime but I have never experienced such a delivery method as this. The spray is a short burst that is so soft and misty. It is truly extraordinary. I am so used to "wonky" sprays that seem to miss their mark and that includes many very high end perfumes. Ferragamo got this so right!

Tried Emozione today. I do generally like Salvatore Ferragamo perfumes so expected to like this one too. On first spray I could tell it was a Salvatore Ferragamo creation and thought I'd enjoy wearing this one. However... a little while later I went shopping, forgetting that I'd sprayed Emozione on my neck and kept getting whiffs of what I thought was somebody's else's perfume, as it was so not 'me'. I realized of course that it was me, but really disliked this perfume. I think it must be the Iris note which just stuck with me and is the most prominent note on my skin. I just wanted to wash it off! This is very powdery and musky and has a very old-fashioned vibe (I don't like to describe anything as 'old lady', but you get the idea). Anyhow, I can still smell it over four hours after spraying, so I guess it's quite long-lasting, which might be great for some people, but not for me in this case. Sadly I couldn't detect any of the peach or rose notes. It just seems very unoriginal and I'm so disappointed. I will just have to stick with my beautiful Signorina Eleganza.

UPDATE: I can still smell this the next morning. Very long-lasting!

Nikkafragrance

It's very powdery - a nice combination for the iris and heliotrope fans. Personally, I find it slightly too overpowering for my taste. The sillage and longevity are nice. It's a mature scent compared to all perfumes from the Incanto line. I expected this to be softer, but iris can be a tricky note. However, this is another sucsessful fragrance by Ferragamo.

rufflesbows

I had the pleasure of trying this at Nordstrom today. It was love at first sniff for me!

Words to describe this are soft, round, elegant, lightly powdery, elegant (again), long lasting, quality. This reminds me of Chanel Allure, but not nearly as sweet. It is definitely the same quality of top designer fragrances. All the notes are very well blended that nothing pops at me. I can feel the peach the most in the top. The iris and rose shows up soon after, but doesn't scream iris like Prada Infusion. The patchouli is barely detectable.

This has gone to the very top of my want list!! Love it!

Emozione is an elegant & delicate, velvety soft & smooth composition with a nice lingering scent aura.
It's not overpowering, yet it's got a strong presence.
Rose & heliotrope seem to dominate this composition on my skin. Heliotrope makes the rose creamy soft.
Iris & musk create a soft powdery veil, while peach & bergamot add a little fruity fresh touch to the blend.
Longevity is very good, sillage moderate.
Emozione reminds me a little of Collistar Benessere dei Sensi which also has dominant notes of rose and heliotrope, here accompanied by a fruity twist of red berries, litchi & bergamot.

simbeast

emozione is a soft, work-safe scent that is aimed at an older crowd compared to ferragamo's previous outing, signorina. it's soft and elegant-smelling, like a really expensive lotion. it kind of reminds me of a more sophisticated version of giulietta by tocca. it's nice, but i think i'll stick with my signorina.

Arlene-Beatrix

Strange scent, it changes every half an hour. Hard to describe. I can smell mostly peach and musk which is a kind of weird composition. At first it was like a very intense flowers' bouquet, then it has started to be more fruity with suede and musk notes.
I like it but I doubt if I could wear it.

so_fia

Its a wonderful perfume. It reminds me a little of valentino absolu which was unfortunately discontinued. Alberto Morillas creates the most femine and elegant perfumes.

ScarlettX

When I sensed really nice powdery iris note in the opening, I was sure, this was going to be great.
Unfortunately, it turned very musky after some time. It almost smells "dark" and kind of dirty.
I also sense rose and other floral notes. That's nice. And it's still is nicely powdery.
There's just some dark undertone, that isn't quite right to my nose.

originaldeftom

Another new scent for 2015 already (as tested today in a famous London department store).

Really nice modern chypre with a strong focus on versatility and wearability. It is the perfume equivalent of a beige silk dress or a beige suede jacket, depending on a formal or smart casual occasion.

I think this is Ferragamo's answer to the very popular ARMANI "Si" that might have been a tat too fruity, too wet and too sour for some (while I love it). This here is more powdery, pasty, somewhat denser and creamier. There is also some reminiscence of Cacharel's "Anais, Anais".

Very pleasant opening with Bergamot, Peach (very abstract and non-fruity) and Iris, to be taken over by a stronger Peony, Heliotrope and a lovely luscious rose.

I expect this to sell bucket-loads for mother's day, Easter, and spring/ summer weddings for it is destined for these very occasions.

I picture a brunette, sun-kissed skin, 40 something, in an ivory/ cream/ peach silk chiffon wedding dress with a gleaming smile. The opening track of the wedding party is MARIAH's "Emotions".

Great new release for a brand that usually has more covetable shoes than fragrances (just not so keen on that musky ending though which cheapens it a bit for me).

Good solid work. 7.5/10

k.dehaas

I think I will like it, it has bergamot, rose and a woody base and its like a warmn with a little bit freshness not to strong scent, based on notes and image.
Sounds like a me scent. Hope to test it when it comes out!

genny17

Emozione is a classy scent, very feminine, refined, it could be compared to a Chanel or a Van Cleef, in its chypre vibe, it isn't heady per se, but lingers nicely, Eau Premiere by Chanel comes to mind, I detect the Iris, the Rose , it is a smooth floral. Not sweet, but soo wearable, and pretty, more depth than the other Ferragamo creations...more mature , but not oldish..really a charming scent, I truly like it!!! In the base I smell whiffs of powdery Violet , very discreet...lovely! So nicely put together!!

PAMELAIASTRUBNI

i dont get how pepole vote love on a perfume that isn't out yet..
