Encouraged by positive reviews here and on youtube I tested it on my skin for a whole day. Sadly I'm dissapointed and frankly don't understand what the fuss is about. It smells sweet and pleasant, but the leather is somewhat synthetic. It straightforward smells like a cheapie it is. For the price I would recommend it for a youngster starting his journey in fragrances, but I prefer designers with a tad bit higher quality and complexity. Not bad, not good either

Piggy41510

Yes this fragrance is not bad at all. Opens up a aromatic, citric, mild leather. Then it dries down to a soft coffee, vanalic cinnamon vibe to my nose. I would say that the projection is decent and the longevity is well above average and if you decide to spray your clothing it's a solid 8+ hours for sure. I believe Mr Alberto Morillas is a great perfumer in the world of perfumery and he did a good job with this fragrance. Season I would wear this fragrance would be, winter ❄️ early spring 🌱, and the fall 🍂 or cool summer evening. My rating for this gem is a solid 9.0 out of 10 because I really love the scent and if your on a budget like me? Well this is a no brainer for 36.00 on Amazon, God bless and enjoy.

Senzadite

This DOES NOT have the tiramisu note , is the EDT that does.

HugoPL

Impresionante fragancia. Gran precio, botella preciosa, buen atomizador. Masculino, cautivador, dura mucho. Super acierto. 10/10 para mí.

pvura

Deep, dark tiramisu scent with cinnamon. Lasts long and is enjoyable. Limited to cold weather and outdoor use though because it is very heavy and rich. Can give people headaches if too much is worn. A good pickup for the price, however.

testrluv

Sweet, sticky coffee. Some may love it, unfortunately I do not. Synthetic, chocolate-y, too sweet for me.

3 out of 10 for me.

DomiScarface

When I first sprayed this on my hand to test it, I’ve smell something familiar. I’m thinking and thinking and keep smelling until I go to see the list of what it reminds ppl of and BOOM! I see Layton on the list. I have Al Haramain Detour Noir and they say it smells like PDM Layton. UOMO Signature smells similar to Detour Noir but sweeter and without the “Vaporub” smell that ppl say Layton and Detour Noir have.

Smells really really good. This is a compliment getter the first hour I put it on. I might end up getting the OG UOMO as a back up even though it might smell different than this one.

sholas1023

Picked this up yesterday. initial spray is very strong. it is another gourmand perfume nothing unique here. the only advantage is that is sticks to the skin for a long time. it doesn't go off the skin easily even after a shower.
I will give another update soon after testing it very well. this is just my first impression

Mr. Blinx

This is gourmand, very potent on first spray, although fades off to mentioned tiramisu which is not a bad thing, considering sillage and longevity it's both heavy, why someone got this off their skin too early? Go for this one in winter, you wont be dissapointed

Kuquii1974

Smells like tiramisu and is gone in about 4 hours.
Meh.

OneBillion

Blind bought this, and I was surprisingly disappointed. On a mission to find the perfect, not overly sweet coffee gourmand fragrance, I picked this up. Note breakdown and reviews seemed to indicate this was the fragrance for me. However, months after buying it, I find myself trying it over and over just to come to the conclusion that the cologne is painfully average. My bottle smells like a cheap leathery-barbershop fragrance, with no coffee or gourmand notes. Honestly, my biggest blind buying flop yet. I do not see why this is held in such high regard, and am selling my bottle.

Von_Diesel

First time i wore this to work i got three female coworkes compliment my fragrance One even ordered a bottle for he bf.
A really well ballanced macsuline fragrance. Projects really good as well.
It also reminds me of a cheapie, Bugatti Black, so if you want a similar perfume check it out.
All in all a great blind buy, i love it.

Bigmike650

Lovely cool weather fragrance👌🏽 Ferragamo is such an underrated house 💯

LeoIsCologneki

This smells like straight axe body spray

I genuinely thought I got a knock off at first but no, this is genuinely what it smells like, its just genuinely awful and I have no idea why anyone would wear this

My sister whos in 6th grade smelled this on me and said “i think I’ve smelled that before” because she has, it smells like a middle school boys locker filled with old spice

Mr. Cellophane

This is an addictive scent. Very dark and sweet with a bit of twang at the top, with good performance. Reminds me of Michael Malul Westloop a bit. Easily blind buy safe.

genec123

Smells pretty good, has terrible performance. You'll need to reapply this. I'd say 8 sprays at first, 8 sprays later. It's pretty weak, I'm not noseblind.

eko.mtfkr

Leather & tonka are the main players, while coffee somehow creates a sort of balance.

It's pretty safe, you won't offend with this one. I like it, but I don't find myself spraying it as much I though I would.

Doesn't smell like the original Uomo, that one's more gourmand - actually smelling like tiramisu.

614Fragrances

Currently my favorite fragrance to wear given the colder weather! In my opinion this is a 10/10 given the price. I also love how it smells after it cools down in 2-3 hrs. Give it a try if you haven’t already, the perfect fall and winter fragrance!

SwampSaddle

I expected the opening of this fragrance to be a lot more citrusy. Sadly it's not - it's sharper than what I'd like and synthetic-smelling. The dry-down features cardamom and reminds me of LNDL. But the dominant notes here are the leather and tonka bean. The coffee note is there as well, but takes a backseat in my opinion. The base is VERY sweet - maybe too much so - but in return the longevity is beastly. I'd rate this fragrance higher if the sweetness was toned down just a bit.

Piggy41510

Very nice inexpensive fragrance, great longevity and sillage and for me I really dig the bottle design. I purchased my bottle from Amazon for 50.00 and I'm not disappointed at all because uomo signature is still being sold at the Nordstrom in my area for 102.00 retail. This fragrance is sweet with a hint of leather and coffee ☕ which smells pretty good. For me it's a love and I give this a 10/10 rating it's a pretty good scent and very affordable.

hrhalexandru6

So elegant, so refined. Winter and/or early spring fragrance, impossible to wear during warm days unless it's at night, very late, when it's cool and breezy... so to say. Very peppery, spicy, a bit leathery in the dry-down, but it's barely noticeable... I've been wearing this for months on end and I barely figured "oh okay there's a little leather undertone there"... As another reviewer pointed out, it's rich and deep - it screams elegance with a side of "I'm better than you". 10/10 for this gem.

Carlos Danger

The overly synthetic sweetness mostly turns me off from what is otherwise a very good scent.

skyon33

For me it smells like roadkill.
Like a dead coyote on the side of the road.
It got slightly better after a few hours, but I won't ever use it or buy it again.
Longevity is really good though. Lasts many hours and even survived a shower.

ScentNSent

This fragrance is the perfect winter scent. Fell in love with this as soon as I smelled it. I’m not a huge fan of super sweet stuff during the winter, and this hits the spot in terms of being a bit dark but really rich and deep. If you’re looking for a fragrance for winter I definitely suggest giving this a try, performance is no joke too, this stuff lasts 10ish hours in my skin and won’t annoy anyone as long as you’re not putting 10 sprays on you.

Perfect for dates, or just going out an amazing signature scent on you for the colder seasons. My only gripe is the verrrrrrry slight undertone of leather in it that’s barely noticeable, but that’s me being picky and if you don’t like leather you will barely if at all notice it 9.999999/10

Ray M

I just purchased this at a rack store today. I preface by saying this is on my skin. My thoughts:

Opening: smells like a bandage
Mid: spices with a bit of leather
Dry down: smooth leather and almost powdery chocolate. Reminds me a bit of Bentley for men Absolute.

Longevity and projection: moderate for a good two hours then slowly fades closer to the skin. Still smelling it on my skin after 7 hours.

Jimmboop

Took me a while to warm up to this but following a few wears a few weeks apart and I have definitely come round to this one. The dry down is excellent.

ManicMonkey84

Bought a sample after hearing good reviews. I like it enough, but it's ultimately a bit too cloying for my personal liking. More spice and less sweetness would've made this a solid go-to for colder weather. I don't really pick up on much cardamom, pink pepper, or patchouli.

Martxin

I think this is THE BEST flanker of all, even better than the original.
I´m IN LOVE with this one.
The sillage is really strong and it is also so longlasting.
I really recommend it!!!!

Manuel85

Blind buy. Much sweeter than I initially anticipated. Very good fragrance, though. Quite dense and lasts a long time on me

Alex771

Great fragrance from morillas. Very mysterious and masculine. after 4-5 hours becomes tonka sweet but not sweet like other sweet fragrances. Very sexy. Its definitely synthetic but i dont have a problem with that. You cant really smell a leather here but the coffee and the tonka together are nice and masculine. Performance is great around 8 hours

ColoradoCouloir

Almost done with 50ml and I'll probably replace it. Winter performance is decent, profile is friendly and approachable with a chocolaty coffee, mild leather and soft spices. It has some sweetness and a faint hint of freshness, all of which eventually dissolves into a familiar warm tonka base. And based on it's price at discounters it's a decent value.
Maybe a touch synthetic and feels fairly youthful though so it's not for everyone. I would've loved this in my 20s.

There are nicer coffee fragrances available but for the price at discounters Uomo Signature is hard to beat.

razorsedge

Accords are on point - Ferragamo Uomo Signature is a clear cut Warm Spicy scent, perfect for Winter.

Top notes are barely there for me - the scent immediately goes into a mix of middle and base notes, which is a concoction I can only describe no better than the accord - Warm Spicy. I don't quite get the Coffee note in a sense of drink, but more of a freshly grinded beans in the metal manual grinder feel if that makes sense.

The Tonka-Leather base provides the typical "warm winter fragrance" feel, except Uomo Signature has no sweetness like many of them do - instead it's very Dusty-Spicy and slightly Earthy take, while still retaining Warmth.
I was struggling to remember what the Dustyness reminded me of until it struck me - Gentleman Eau de Toilette Intense! The Cardamom and Cypress mix give the Dusty Spicy feel, except Gentleman leans green/fresh instead of warm.

It's masculine, warm, rugged, and slightly sophisticated even. If you want a warm fragrance that doesn't lean too sweet/feminine, but want a more masculine take - Ferragamo Uomo Signature is a perfect match.

Performance is okay - projects strongly for a few hours, then sits close to skin for the remainder of the day.

Very good.

HERO2004

if you're buying it for the coffee note, then you're going to get disappointed.

this fragrance is one that i fell in love with the more i used it. Smells like apples in the opening and dries down into a beautiful spicy leather with a hint vanilla in the background.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!

And women will DEFENITELY treat you differently if your wearing it. ( in a good way )

I don't think its a fragrance that get you compliments, it more soo that it commands respect lmao.
it just has that mysteries vibe to it.

i'd say its blind buy worthy, but some people would probably dislike the leather note.

( it could become my signature in the future :3 )

Gary.D

I've a bottle from 2019 that's nearly at an end with about 10ml left, was in house of Fraser and smelled a tester that has a different atomiser and can confirm there's a definite difference in scent and strength leading me to think it's been reformulated so much so i couldn't smell it after an hour or so.... so for that reason i wouldn't repurchase it again

SrVergaz

I bought recently an August 2023 batch. Like many others I was expecting a potent and durable fragrance. I was greatly dissapointed. This has probably been reformulated and the new performance is terrible, last 2 hours tops and it's only a skin scent. It does smell nice and manly but with this performance it's not worth wearing it. Spend your money on middle eastern clones and stay away from this.

SmellGoodLiveGood

sheesh, dunno why there’s reviews saying this is not a good projecting perfume. just bought a 30ml bottle a couple weeks ago and i find this stuff LASTSSS. At least 4/5 hours of good projection then settles down to more of a skin scent. the scent itself is good, but i wouldn’t say great or masterpiece worthy. very aromatic and leathery for sure but i’m getting zero coffee note or citrus. but for the price of this thing you really can’t go wrong. i give it a solid 7.5/10

AmirAA

The fragrance carries the scent of sweaty Italian leather, and that's about it. I couldn't detect other notes, such as coffee, as mentioned. Unfortunately, it lacks longevity, lasting no more than an hour with minimal projection. This was a blind buy for me, but I must say I'm not satisfied. It fails to deliver a unique or memorable experience.

Did it smell Coffee? NO
Did it long last? NO, just 1 hour.
Is it a special perfume? NO, normal.
Can it attract others? NO
Should I buy it? NO

Overall 5/10.

adamp1

Got a bottle from notino uk a month ago, smells great but lasts 30 minutes on me and then theres no smell left.

Christian77

I’ve worn this in the winter since its release. A beautiful, masculine gourmand, that never really ventures into that cloying, vanilla saccharine territory in the drydown.

Cozzy

This is a must have for any men out there.
It has an amazing note and the price is not disappointing at all.
It lasts through out the whole day and persists a lot
Smells very masculine and you will be getting lots of compliments for sure.

Dannatello

On first approach this smells like Paco Rabanne - One Million but with an added undertone of rubber glove / medical office. I will spend more time with it and report back.

BootneyLee

For what I payed for this, it's probably the best financial decision I've ever made. Absolutely blows away much more expensive bottles I own. I also have the original Uomo, which is much sweeter, but this one dials the scent in perfectly. Not too sweet and the leather and coffee are beautiful here. This stuff is addictive, especially after it dries. Performance is very decent as well. Absolutely blind buy safe. If you don't like this, your nose is broken.

Leppinen

I've recently bought two fragrances from Notino. This one and Khamrah. Both are weak as hell. Basically no longevity or sillage. There's definitely something shady going on with Notino.

genec123

So delicious, in the dry down especially. I don't believe it projects that strongly, for me it's average. I'd say go 6 sprays but during winter I'll be going with 8-10. It sits more close to the skin. Gave it 5/5 still. Would have given it 5/5 even if it costs more like the current designer fragrances. It's so unique and special for such an inexpensive price

colognefreak

After owning this one for almost two years now, I haven’t changed my mind on my initial review.
I give it ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️’s
This frag is a very nice winter-wear gourmand-ish compliment getter. It’s easy to wear and as long as you are reasonable with the sprays, you won’t offend, four is plenty.
The opening is orangey/citrus and yes, if you stick your nose in it, it’s a bit synthetic, but in the air it’s quite good. My wife likes the opening.
Carolina Herrera “Bad Boy” has that same effect, but she likes the opening on that one too. Whenever I wear it “Signature”, upon first blush, my wife says, “umm that smells nice!”.

Some people have said they aren’t getting coffee in the dry down. Ok, I guess we will agree to disagree.
It has the sweetness that Polo Red Intense doesn’t and I own that one so I can attest.
Buy a smaller bottle if you’re on the fence and see how it goes. It’s just a nice addition to a collection and a great wear every once in a while in colder weather.
Warning: Not recommended for males under 25, unless you are more mature or want to be.

Emedeus

I was initially looking for a coffee fragrance when i stumbled upon Uomo Signature, and the notes looked like it’s a fragrance i would enjoy. Fast forward a few days later, i blind bought it.

At first, i was a bit taken aback by the slightly animalic leather note after the initial citrusy opening. As it dries down, the warmness of cardamom and sweetness of tonka beans reveal themselves in a beautiful symphony, enveloping the smooth leather in its embrace. I could only detect a slight coffee note, but I’m not complaining! What a brilliant blend of warmth and spiciness, with just the right tinge of sweetness as the cherry on top.

Longevity on my skin is about 8-9 hours but projection is moderate. Strong for the first hour or two, then sits closer to the skin. I am in love with Uomo Signature, definitely one of the favourites from my collection!

Trendkill97

Warm tobacco with some tonka and coffee. The pink pepper and citrus add that nice freshness to complement the dominating warmth of the scent, cardamom, cinnamon, patchouli really accentuate the dense sweet base of this fragrance very well. Not overly sweet, strong, nice cozy winter scent with a little bit of mature character to it.

spasianspasov

This is hidden gem.
Pure masterpiece.
What an amazing scent!
First 10-20 seconds after the spray you get that combo pink pepper+mandarin+grapefruit which goes away very quick. After this the cinnamon comes up first, few moments later comes the cypress hand in hand with the cardamom and the sweet tonka is starting to rise until the end of the scent.
After the mids are set (around 10-15 minutes) the tonka becomes the most prominent (until the end of the scent), the leather is very, VERY sweet (it's not a raw black leather) the cinnamon, cypress and cardamom are supporting with sweet, spicy, powdery, slightly green notes not only the edges but also are crossing through the center of the tonka and the leather.
Coffee starts in the early drydown. Imagine that you just roasted expensive coffee beans. The smell is so mild and aromatic. The patchoulli are supporting the coffee's edges and makes it slightly green in the depth.
It's delicious sweet (not overly sweet-just the right amount of sweetness), warm and very aromatic, slightly powdery and slightly cypress-green, coffee-woody.
It's very masculine, sweet, dark, alluring, intoxicating and very COZY.
I was very happy when I finally found out that this is the smell I was looking for long time.

IMPORTANT: The atomizer sometimes sprays more, sometimes less. It's not precised amount.

Projection: Very strong for around 2 hours and moderate for another 2. In total: 9 sprays (3 behind each ear and 3 on the back of the neck) after these 4 hours it starts slowly by the time to reduce the projection until it goes totally skin scent.
Longevity: Around 10 hours.

A HAPPY SCENT NOT FOR A BITTER MAN

Well, maybe not any "uomo" (man), but for a particular kind of man. In Italian, the word "uomo" solely employed, stands for a virile man, "un vero maschio alle spalle larghe e gambe muscolose". And the signature of a "uomo" must not leave any doubts about the man's character as a true son of Adam and a true ladies' favourite by nature. In summary, a devoted lover, smelling like dark woods, rough seas, and all that can recall courage and passion.
This aromatic all-black Ferragamo Uomo Signature brings us warm spices, leather, coffee, fresh citrus and a balsamic aura that adds a sense of knowledge of life and experience to the previously characterized wearer of this perfume.
With such a simple but powerful name, an elegant black bottle and a scent that justifies all that could be assumed by its presentation, Ferragamo Uomo Signature imposes itself as a "must-have" for men and a magnet to attract women's attention.
In the opening, we experience an uplifting floral citrus with honeyed mandarin and rosy pink pepper. It's a smooth sweet entrance that readily accommodates the masculine cedar the dominant sensuous cinnamon bitter sweetness and the sweet and resinous cardamom. This masculine but sweet, exciting but smooth hors d'oeuvres setting opens wide the doors for the tonka bean's heavy bittersweetness, very well blended with dark roasted coffee, lightly smoked hide and earthy patchouli.
It's a more interesting and less sweet fragrance than the original Uomo, and I don't know which perfume is really flanking the other. There is a slight resemblance with another Uomo, the Valentino Intense version, but just if you manage to forget the absent powderiness of a lipstick iris.I also got a vibe of Layton, probably due to the mandarine note, the overall sweetness and the green cardamom note.
The fragrance is halfway from a true pyramid development and a linear global scent. It's easy to distinguish the opening notes from the bottom notes, but the heart notes seem to be blended with all the other notes. The drydown is pleasant with a sweet pace ensured by cinnamon and tonka as well as the seductive leather and to a lesser degree, the roasted coffee.
The performance is interesting but not overwhelming.
Main characteristic? It's a women's head-turner!

Opinion about Uomo Signature:
Very well balanced between spiciness and sweetness. It's a natural compliment-getter, easily satisfying even very demanding wearers. If you like a very good hot spicy sweet fragrance with very interesting coffee and leather facets, you may have found one of the best. If you loved the previous Ferragamo Uomo, you may love this one even more.
Recommended? Yes.
Blind buy worthy? No! Try it first.

The opening of this is the scent of beautifully fragrant high end italian leather. If you wanna know the difference in the leather of an expensive italian shoe and your run of the mill leather boot, compare this to Lalique's Encre Noir.

Unfortunately that gorgeous doesn't seem to last long and as the frag dries down the patchouli and cypress take over. Sillage is decent. I haven't tested longevity yet but I think this just about makes it into must-have male frag masterpiece territory.

ElNino-7-

Another Morillas fragrance on my love list! Got a sample the other day. First test, I didn't really notice anything special. Second and now third test - amazing. Fresh but dark, beautiful scent. I'm keeping a small collection and wanted two fragrances dedicated purely to night time winter. After testing many many options, I now have a partner to rotate with Givenchy Gentleman Boisee. 9/10 from me.

TheDogfatherHTX

One of the most hyped Salvatore Ferragamo fragrances I've come across on my fragrance journey. Decided to purchase it and put it to the test to see if it's worth the hype.

Scent:
Opening is a sweet and spicy gourmand. You get just a touch of brightness from the citrus in the top notes, but the base notes are the stars of the show even from the beginning. You'll get the warm spiciness from the cinnamon and cardamom, a prominent coffee note, and a BIG dose of sweetness from the tonka and chocolatey vibe from the patchouli. In this opening, I'm instantly reminded of Halloween Man X, Hugo Boss The Scent Private Accord, Carolina Herrera Bad Boy EDT, and a little bit of Armani Code Absolu. In the dry down the brightness from the top notes is gone, and you're left with sweet spiciness from the base and mid notes. However, I don't pick up any leather, or if it's there it's masked by the other notes. To me it smells like D&G The One EDP but sweeter and with chocolate/coffee notes.

Performance:
Initial projection is beast mode, my wife was able to smell this on me before I even walked in the room. Sillage is enormous with a long and very noticeable scent trail. A few hours later, the projection was still strong at about 6 feet with a lengthy scent trail. Altogether, this scent lasted on my skin well over 12 hours, making it certified eternal.

When to wear:
This is 100% a fall/winter night time scent and definitely too heavy for the office.

Blind buy:
This is a safe blind buy if you like sweet gourmand fragrances, or like any of the other fragrances I mentioned above.

Final verdict:
It absolutely lives up to the hype. As of writing this review, you can find this fragrance at online discounters under $50, which is a GREAT value. Pick this one up for your winter fragrance rotation, you won't regret it.

Kelz23

Nah this is fire. I wasn’t feeling it when I first got it a year or so ago. I just sprayed it on my wrist today and man this is really good. Sweet spices and just a hint of coffee in the background. Almost has a fresh nature too, not citrusy but like aromatic. This is going to hit in the cooler weather. Glad I didn’t give it away

richmilton

Not sure why this gets hate. I smell fresh cigar tobacco although it's not listed in the notes. Not smoke tobacco, rather the scent of a humidor full of hand rolled cigars. The leather and cinnamon flavored coffee is also prominent making it a real bad ass of a scent due to the fresh cigar tobacco vibe and leather. Imagine a mid-autumn evening at dusk, clear crisp night sitting on your back cedar deck facing the woods, wearing your leather jacket, coffee in one hand, and a fresh, perfectly aged, hand rolled stogie about to be lit. Yep, that's this fragrance.

kakasuke

This really is a wholesome fragrance. The opening just smells delicious, almost like a cuddle in your nose.

It's warm, sweet and bold. It has a spice and darkness to it in the dry down and you are left smelling it hours aftering applying. A really good fragrance for the colder months.

frankcoelho

This is monstrous! A best performer for the colder weather.
Now, with the colder months approaching, surely going to be in my rotation more frequently. It is quite hard to pull it off even during spring since it's so powerful, sweet, and actually mouth watering delicious.
Careful with the sprays.
Love the scent profile, and really the coffee here is amazing.

monsieur.moustache

Nice cool weather, gourmandish fragrance.

Tre de Fill

I like! To me, the fragrance is relatively universal. It's for winter and autumn, but I can "see" it being worn in the spring as well. Only during the hot weather in the summer season I think it is quite heavy and inappropriate, but in a cool evening it is also fine. Otherwise a nice sweet scent. Overall rating 8/10

Calentano32

Signature fall and winter fragrance for sure

Trueblood84

If you own the original uomo this is pretty much redundant. The only difference I can tell is better performance and a slightly richer scent. I get no leather at all. The coffee is blended so well with the tiramisu accord it isn't easily recognized either. Overall id give this a 9 with the original being an 8.

konitz

If I was given a task to associate pink plastic umrella for kids with a scent, I would pair it with Signature.
First minutes on blotters in the perrfumery were very promising so I then ordered a sample and applied. Was good for 15 minutes or so before the synthetic sweetness started to dominate. Oh boy, I was taken on an unpleasant ride. Huge projection for three hours but the scent itself was unbearable for me.

TerreD'Profumo

Please be aware that the last dry down of this flanker is extremely sweet.

The opening is well blended, a Morillas perfection that appear as well in ADG Profumo and Bvlgari MIB Essence. It starts with spicy leather and slight scent of coffee beans. About 45 mins in cold temperature, it blasts a lovely mix of tonka and coffee. It’s not the kind of scent that “pouring” a coffee beans straight into noses but more like the one that will make people think that you are a coffee addict. After 3 hours, it turns into generic drugstore sweet cologne with extreme projection. I can’t smell any notes other than sweet syrup that’s everlasting for more than 8 hours.

Really love the opening and mid notes, quite disappointed by the dry down. Considering its price, I still think this is worth to buy and wear only during low temperature in indoor spot.

AnosmiaAnosognosia

This, to me, is like Mercedes Benz Club Extreme, but better. Dark, warm, spicy, sweetness with some nice complexity. Happy blind buy for me.

A-Staubs05

I blind bought this for an amazing price of $45 online. Although I think it's a little synthetic it smells great, very masculine, and an amazing performer. Definitely for a slightly older crowd but I still really like it and it's an amazing night time/ winter and fall scent. I don't think it's really sweet at all, very leathery and spicy with a little sweet coffee and tonka note. Very good compliment puller and again for the price it's really solid. Not a fan of the bottle though because of the atomizer but itself it looks cool.

Booskey

Very beautiful scent, the opening is filled with brightness from the pink peppers and the fresh citrus. It starts to die down and has that sweeter smell and the spice nuance some would expect. After about 10 minutes or so it dries down to this super sweet and rich smell from the Tonka Beans and Roasted coffee, along with the leather which makes it smell more strong and masculine. 9/10 for scent.
The projection is a little short of arms length for about 3-4 hours and stays very light after that. 7/10 for projection.
I sprayed it about 6 and a half hours ago and I still smell it. 9/10 for Longevity.
Very good fragrance for me all around, also very worth the price, got it for $38. Would recommend.

Radias

Absolutely gorgeous, well blended Italian scent! Wish it lasted more than 4-5 hours. If this lasted for 8+ hours it would be one of my every day scents. Gorgeous but unfortunately, weak. Shame.

Arber Cami

I love this kind of DNA.
Opening is quite fresh : mandarin & grapefruit but dries down to a gorgeous : (not cloyingly) sweet, leather and coffee fragrance with a hint earthiness/powderyness in the back. Nice fragrance for the colder months, longevity (6-8h) and projection is good.
In the same ballpark as ''Halloween Man X'' which is also really nice.

blood_and_wine

An interesting, unique and well-rounded dark scent. I like this combo, it's not too loud. Very masculine and suitable for the colder months. I mean it's Morillas, what do you expect?
Performance is great as well.

My problem is not with the scent itself, but the bottle. The printing on the front looks cheap, the "U" from UOMO is blurry around the bottom of the letter on my bottle. The bottle itself is huge for 100ml and the atomizer, while it sprays just fine, is awful. You leave a wet spot everytime you use it which can't be covered since there's no cap and will be very visible because it's matt black. When you press on one side of the atomizer the whole assembly tilts quite heavily. It's awkward to turn to lock it, it feels like I'm gonna break it. Oh and when you unlock it, you spray a tiny bit in the process which leaves more pee stains on the atomizer ;)

One more thing, I noticed it left a more "oily" spot testing it on my hand vs literally anything else. My hand is way shinier with Uomo Signature than any other fragrance, not sure what that is. Do with that what you will.

For 52 euros (100ml) it's not exactly a "cheapie" but still worth the money if you can look past the god-awful bottle.

8.4/10 Great scent, horrible bottle+atomizer.

Cholera

Chocolatey mandarin, powdery tonka bean with a hint of leather and coffee. Warm, comforting and sexy fragrance. The opening is a little fresh which I am not a big fan of, but the dry down is so good, I love it. Amazing scent for cold weather and it is way better than the original uomo.

OBrien1510

Not quite what I was expecting. Bling bought this one because after seeing it hyped up so much and found it for a decent price online. Most mentions of it brought up the coffee note in particular but I don't feel like I get much coffee at all. Instead I do get a very strong slightly synthetic leather note with some sweet stuff on top. Not sure if there's any batch variations with this one because others seem to mention a very bright citrusy opening which I just didn't get at all. Sort of reminds me of the petrol note in fahrenheit a little bit if that's your thing. Dry down seems a little more palatable than opening but I find that opening to be very grating personally

Liffy19

I love this, very very good strong smell, the missus loves it as well..it's very much like Armani Code Absolu.. Fantastic..

aneudi1994

Nobody mentions this but this is like a Herod clone. When I smelled Herod I knew it reminded me of something. It took a whole day to realize it was almost similar to this one.

turnerscott

really nice. similar coffeee note to halloween X but the quality of the fragrance is way more refined and way less screechy. both have a citrus beginning but here its maybe similar to a subdued rochas homme. someone mentioned similarities to armani code absolut. defintly coming out of opening into mid theres some similarity. absolut is more gourmand generally and sweeter and is a parfum concentration so hangs around longer. uomo has that slight citrus vibe whereas absolut gets mildy chocolatey and non citrus. absolut for dates, uomo for daytime

Domthebomb

Smells very similar to tiramisu, exactly how I imagined it would smell. Very sexy, good longevity and projection. I don’t have any problems with this frag and I think it is the best in my collection.

10/10 fragrance

FirstSense

So sad about that much too strong pepper, ambroxan note. If that was toned down this could have been a Morillas tiramisu masterpiece. The gourmand aspect reminds me a bit of Tom Ford Noir Extreme. Somehow I always want to wear this when I go to an Italian restaurant. I appreciate my small 30 ml bottle nevertheless.

caffeinatedpony

Really good, however there is a very subtle nuttiness that im not the biggest fan of, however it is objectively great.

SebLQ

Great scent - lightly sweet and powdery tonka, hypnotizing cardomon and faint leather adds to the mystique of this fragrance. The downside is the longevity, 2 hours with medium projection then another hour of near projection before it becomes a skin scent. Ironically, the scent also lacks "signature" uniqueness.

jlog23

This is like a less refined and more youthful version of code absolu. They aren’t exactly alike; uomo smells a bit more citric and spicy whereas absolu has a slight rum accord. Uomo is a tad more synthetic to my nose but still a solid option, especially since code absolu is getting harder and harder to find. Overall a good fragrance for the price.

lerkudzz

Easy to wear.

Steve907

Oh man, am I glad I tried this. Wow this is incredible. It burst open with super fresh beautiful citrus. Stays for a couple minutes and then starts a metamorphosis into a beautiful masculine scent, warm and spicy almost less leather and more suede, but that cinnamon is there before getting even darker and richer with the coffee and the leather develops more. Finally the tonka bean and cardamom start to smooth out that dark richness like cream in coffee. It's delicious! I prefer spraying it under my shirt and letting it project from there. Smelling it over my shirt, it's rich and incredibly smooth. Under my shirt it's a little sharp, can almost get a sense of where people are getting the rubber note from, but for me it was such an amazing journey. Definitely one of the most dynamic and beautifully masculine fragrances I've ever tried.

Tried in higher temps and I probably won't wear this during the summer. I'll probably get a bottle for the fall though.

garantis28

Alberto Morillas with another banger. The guy doesn’t miss. Almost like a chocolate covered orange in the opening, which moves quickly to cinnamon and pepper. It dries down to a slight tonka note with strong smooth coffee and a hint of leather. Sillage is moderate on my skin with about 2 hours of projection. Longevity is good - stays on my skin for 8 hours easily. You can find this stuff for under $40 which is an absolute steal.

heraklaitos

I got it for a tester. Nice fresh opening with grapefruit, mandarin, pink pepper. Projection is a little underwhelming; I reapplied two sprays one hour after an initial 4 sprays because I couldn’t smell much anymore. A little later the base of tonka bean comes to the fore. The dry down is more woodsy, I don’t get much Cypress or coffee.

Sweetboy05

I really love this. It's sweet coffee with a leather undertone. Yes!

Andrew.R

Too much. Scrubbed it off and gave it away.

Rattlehed

I went into expecting it to be a gourmand and way too sweet. That's what everyone's been saying at least. Off my skin this is actually very light, but still works in winter. Not much sweetness for me, and more leather which I actually LOVE. Lasts 6 to 8 hours and is a bit rough around the edges in a leathery good way, and high quality to my nose. The coffee lingers in the background and is absolutely amazing.

SmellyDoc

Great late winter fragrance. Strong but not over powering. Pretty sure it is projecting more than I realize. Got complemented on wearing it today (6 feet away after 4 hours). I should wear this more.

Atomizer is a little lack-luster but gets the job done.

WhiteJr81

Really nice. Sweet, rich, a tad spicy. Tonka bean comes through a fair bit. Can't wait to smell it after its settled a bit. Got it for a song at the local discounters. Can't go wrong for an EDP.

Rip & Run

This is another excellent fragrance creation by Alberto Morillas. I thoroughly enjoy the combination of the leather, sweet spices, and roasted coffee very very much. Exceptional performance each and every time I wear it. Very strong projection for the first 4hrs before it starts to slowly come closer to the skin. I easily get wafts of this fragrance beyond the 8hr mark. The further in the dry down it gets, I notice that the patchouli and tonka bean began to compliment the coffee bean more and more. Great designer scent that punches much further than its' price point. It also doesn't wear as heavy as note breakdown suggests, which increases its' versatility. Because I enjoy coffee, this scent is truly a guilty pleasure!

Dumbplings

Pepper, leather & vanilla...with some cardamom bitterness and bite...sweet & spicy that's what this is

iLikeExpensiveSmellyWater

Strong coffee and especially leather. Made me realize I'm not that into leather scents lol. It's an absolute beast though.

GingyFragrance

This will always be a staple in my collection. This fragrance got me in the fragrance game. 10/10

Spadz97

A beautiful sweet, gourmand scent. For me it has a similarity to 1 million which is a fragrance that I love that's slightly outdated today. Could be used as a unisex fragrance but for me leans more into the masculine side. This fragrance is a sweet and spicy blend which is perfect for the cool weather and is a fantastic date night fragrance. The performance on this is amazing as lasts up to 10hrs+ on my skin and projects nicely aswell. Very warm, sweet and spicy I absolutely love it but if you like sweet fragrances this may not be for you. However if you like fragrances like 1 million you will love this. My wife absolutely loves this aswell so I have no doubts that this will crush it with the women aswell if you are after compliments.

ZoobzFrags

It's not bad if you can get it for a low price. It smells a bit like cough syrup and has a very subtle coconut after smell that lingers on which I am not a big fan of. It doesn't perfom that well on me. But maybe I need to give it more time and I will appreciate it more. It's a nice dumb reach fragrance.

Dafffid

Tried this the day out came out - loved it, better than the original. Tried again in Italy yesterday- totally different scent, not nearly as rich. (And tried the original too, directly compared to an atomiser I had on me of an early batch, also much altered, although not as dramatically).

ScentChimp

This scent did absolutely nothing for me. I’m glad I got a sample before I opened the unexpected 100 ml gift my wife gave me. It’s definitely going back. What a disappointment. It didn’t even come close to the hype for me. I find it nauseating, at best.

keiii

Great scent. I don't smell the leather here that much maybe a little ,the coffee here smells good and its amazing!
My girlfriend said that she could smell it on me for like 7+ hours so longevity is good, projection is good and strong so be careful with how much you spray.
Overall a great winter/fall fragrance.

CoachSutton

Just kind of a meh for me. Super sweet. Heavy on tonka bean like others have said. Does not last very long on my skin either. No coffee, not beast mode; not very much like what was advertised. Does not smell bad, but is just kinda boring.

PFfrangrance

Blind bought this one. Its very tonka heavy on my skin. Sweet, with creamy coffee on the dry down. I don’t personally get much leather, but I may be used to the dryer leather fragrances. Overall it’s pleasant, with mass appeal. Will definitely be able to wear this one to the office with no issues. I’ll also add that this could easily be worn by women without anyone batting an eye.

Youngkilla3000

It doesn't smell like I was expecting, I don't get too much coffee smells at all, I can smell some but definitely not as prominent as something like Halloween man X. It still a strong, loud, sweet fragrance, dominant on the cinnamon and leather. If u want a straight up sweet coffee smells, get Halloween man x. With that being said, this is not bad at all.

ebanh

Great scent with an amazing dry down. Lasted over 10 hours on my skin with strong projection (a few feet). Very strong leather scent. Would be careful with how much you spray.

chuckthecheapieguy

I hate that my first post here on Fragrantica is going to be a negative one. Having said that, this fragrance just doesn't jive with my nose AT ALL! I bought it based on all the hype and have been entirely let down. When I smell this fragrance, I get sweet, burnt rubber and some coffee! I don't know if it's my skin, or my nose, but Ferragamo Uomo signature ain't for me! Call me crazy, but I would MUCH rather wear my Halloween Man X over this one ANY day. And what REALLY sucks is that I love Ferragamo as a house! I own Acqua Essenziale Blu and F Black and enjoy those quite a bit, but this one is a BIG TIME no go for me! I have a full 3.4 oz bottle that's only been sprayed a few times. $35, you cover the shipping and it's yours. Email me at [email protected] if you're interested.

I smell g00d

Good, warm scent. Smell is not too special but it’s good. Gets a lot of compliments. Easily lasts through an 8 hour work/ school day and projects a few feet the whole time. Even better is the price value. A good one.

robertandsheilaburke

if you are wanting to choose between this one and the EDT, get this one. Its much better, stronger, and lasts longer.

Cyondian

This is a good sweet scent and I agree with what most people have said. The one major downfall is that the it opens with an extreme alcohol hit and when the fragrance fades you can pick it right back up. Through the majority of the dry down cycle it is good... but I can definitely pick up that alcohol even after I wash the clothing it gets on (I only use 2 to 3 sprays, nothing crazy).

Wax

This is a nice scent but it comes across with a strong lipstick aroma. To me this is more of a "dark & feminine" fragrance overall. I get mysterious woman vibes from it through and through. It's nice but not for me.

robertandsheilaburke

cinnamon/coffee bomb. very nice

Kupcake84

Probably my favorite designer leather. This is a jewel of a fragrance and could easily end up in the Fragrance Hall of Fame if one existed. So pleasing and intriguing. Easily Ferragamo's best.

Crazderek

How the heck is this compared to man x? Where man x is cheap smelling and like something is burning with coffee brewing at the same time, this one really gives me a nice tonka and leather base with an ever so slight coffee touch. I normally don’t even pick up on the coffee without trying to find it but one day while wearing this I caught a whiff and got the amazing roasted coffee blended in with the rest of the base and it was *chef kiss*

KerriZ

I absolutely refuse to accept the fact that this is a for men only fragrance. I love it. I adore it. I AM WEARING IT! Tonka and coffee forever. Buying a FB and not sharing it with my man. --- who is not a fan of fragrance but loved this on me. Wait till I tell him it's for men. haha!

salsero58

This one is strong and could be even be offensive with more than two Sprays. I do get the coffee and cinnamon, but not much of the the leather notes. It gives an elegant, masculine vibe. If you are familiar with the Halloween Shot and X scent profiles, you will recognize this one as a more refined version of those.

PLK

I get a fruitiness, not what I expected. Personally I don't like my winter fragrances to be fruity, which is what somewhat put me off in the azzaro wanted line.
But if you feel the fruit / coffee / leather combination would work for you then go for it.
For me, it's a 7.5/10 as it is very well blended, but leather and fruity notes are not my thing.

p3ta1z

This remind me of Wanted by Night by Azzuro kinda fruity and sweet very simple yet elegant smooth and bold for a cheaper price. I spray this on before I went to bed and when woke up just to smell that leather and the roasted coffee.

Now I if I have to pick an leather scent I would go for Copper Black by Kenneth Cole which is a more boozy smoky leather scent toward the mid but the dry down is a smooth woody vanilla. Copper Black's leather is more prominent in the mid section and yet it's boozy and smoky at the same time. It's more masculine than Uomo Signature.

Not a fan of any fragments that are EDP or Parfum because they smell either to powdery or like bubblegum like. Since this is a EDP I might as well collect it since this is my first EDP fragment on my collection so might as well get an straight up Parfum next which I'm thinking about getting The Most Wanted Parfum.

So straight to the scent it's smell very fruity with a nice touch of the spicy foral pepper as you smell the mist. Then when it settle on your skin it's smell almost like bubblegum yet a little bit of the cinnamon and cardamon with that cypress thats make it woody and as for the down dry it's change into a mild lite leather roasted coffee.

To me the cinnamon and cardamon and the leather seem to be more prominent than the roasted coffee and it's more in the background so you'll have to really dig in just to smell it toward the dry down. It's just blend in so smoothly and nice. Not what I would called Sweet but just right as for the spicy it's there but blend in nice and smooth

Nice scent for the more mature goodie boy or man. Could be worn at anytime.

HXCNikka

I really like this frag. I purchased the 30ml version and instantly regret not picking up the full size. If they have a 200ml size I will be purchasing with my next paycheck. I only sprayed it 3 times and that seems to be plenty. I can't say too much on longevity yet since I've only had it on for around 4 hours, but it is still going strong and I would not be surprised if I get 4 to 5 more hours out of it. Projection on my skin is on the strong side. This frag will definitely get you noticed.

*UPDATE* 12/8/22
This is a really good frag. I get 8 hours easily with 4 sprays. The projection is very good at around 2 hours of strong push. I could not find this in a 200ml size but I did order the 100ml already. If I had to find a con with this, it would have to be the opening. It is my least favorite part I guess, the heart and dry down are the best!

ReminiScent

I really enjoy this and I think I’ll be wearing it quite a bit. I understand the comparisons to Man X but I have to disagree because I find that to be toxic waste(in all seriousness one of my most hated fragrances of all time). If they didn’t share the note of coffee in writing on this forum I think more people would say this smells closer to Man Shot than Man X. This is much smoother to me and of a much higher quality than the Halloween fragrances. On the open I get massive amounts of cardamom that settle into sweet leather territory. I don’t get a lot of coffee but I do believe it’s noticeable. I still think Polo Red Extreme is the best coffee fragrance from a designer I’ve ever smelled and I kick myself regularly for not buying it before it was discontinued. None of these fragrances I’ve mentioned in this review are worth paying anything over $60 for though in my opinion. Be weary of the forum hive mind to some degree. For this fragrance though all in all it’s good and has redeemed this DNA for me.

Stoic

This is a unique gourmet type leather-coffee-tonka scent, perhaps not for everyone but for me it is awesome.

Strong, bold, masculine but with elegant facets as well, leather jacket rather than a suit for a symbolic image. I appreciate it most by not sniffing it closely but letting the sillage-bubble do its job moving to a deeply dark and satisfying finish. Opens a bit sweet but at its core it is a thoroughly seductive masculine fragrance.

While I do not wear it outdoors (live in tropical country) but year-round in climate controlled environments. Signature is a great leather fragrance with its own personality, a classic espresso rather than a milk-coffee, with a fantastic price-value.

jvrlbrtr

this is - I would say - exactly like the original one...such a fantastic gourmand fragrance
love love love - and good value

Oli G

This is in the heavily saturated sweet, gourmand, tonka bean genre of fragrances. Comparing this to something like Bad Boy edt by Carolina Herrera, another fragrance in this genre which shares common themes, Uomo Signature is considerably more mature, creamy and reserved. Bad Boy is more youthful, gym-bag, lockeroom, and slightly bubblegummy- which smells great by the way, but it does smell slightly more generic and youthful. Uomo Signature doesn't blow my mind, but I can appreciate it's a very solid, mature take of a fragrance in this genre.

Damascius

Mom loves it.
Me? Don't think I like Gourmand.

nexufrag

I find this fragrance leather dominated and therefore I find it sharp, aggressive... even offensive. Not good. I realize it's a little bit of a hype beast on youtube but try before you buy.

Saahir D

A masterfully crafted fragrance.
Warm tonka, smooth coffee, deep but not overbearing leather.
The blend is truly superbly done, it comes off as a very high-quality scent.

My only gripe is the initial spray smells fairly alcoholic, rather, as if it had nitrogen as the primary note.

However this quickly matured into a wonderful scent, the fusion of coffee and leather creates a mature fragrance that is lightened up with a vanilla cushioning.

Can be used as a work fragrance, formal events, and even date nights or nights out. I find it quite gourmand, the sort that would be perfect for going out for dessert or a nice coffee, which makes sense due to the coffee note. Definitely not a clubbing or gym fragrance.

Longevity is about 7-8 hours, projection is good for the first 4 hours where it radiates to arms length, after that it becomes a skin scent with a slight amount of projection, at least.

If you like coffee, leather, vanilla, and being sexy in general I’d say it is a safe blind buy, especially because of the very reasonable price.

jokcoy

Spicy, sweet, and coffee scents. Gourmand frag that a bit versatile although it's more on synthetic smelling. It's good for colder weather. A long lasting fragrance with a good projection and leave behind a nice sillage. I like this one, but I don't think it a blind buy safe. Some people can't stand synthetic smell especially on gourmand type fragrance. I haven't smelled the OG yet.

FragStar

Opens with a spicy leather accord, with a boozy feel coming from the cinnamon and mossy cypress. The mandarin is never prominent and the fragrance has a definite rum characteristic. The Uomo coffee note comes forward in the dry down and the fragrance shows its familiar DNA, but never loses the boozy feel. The similarity to Layton is evident and undeniable throughout the longevity of the wear. I would recommend for the cooler months and Signature is perfect for wearing in the evenings. A very good addition to the Uomo line, well worth purchasing if you like the original.

SEA Fragrance

Armani Code Absolu with a prominent leather note in the background.

I really enjoy Armani Code absolu, but not a fan of leather notes in general. So I'm having a hard time enjoying this one.
The opening is fantastic, but from the mid to the end it becomes too rough for me.
Maybe in the extreme cold winter it will do. We'll see.
No denying that for the price, still it's a good value for money....if you like all the notes. Excellent quality

If thick synthetic chemical messes are your jam, then look no further! I wanted...really wanted....to like this. I LOVE coffee scents and the notes looked great. I, like many others I'm sure, fell for the false descriptions from YouTube reviewers who used wonderful adjectives when describing the fragrance. I actually purchased this twice with a year or so in between, thinking (hoping) that I had just missed something. Nope. The same sharp, heavy, chemical crud that I tried the previous year. If you want "coffee", do yourself a favor and try something like Akro Awake. Expensive, yes, but Holy Shit....now THAT'S coffee!! The most hyper-realistic coffee I've smelled outside of a coffee house.

darabmir

I smell mostly coffee and leather. It’s a good scent, quite thick, sweet but mature. It is synthetic smelling, especially in the opening which almost turned me off this. But later on in the day, it is gorgeous. A perfect daily wear, especially for colder days.

The performance is extremely good too. I easily get about 10 hours out of this with just a couple sprays. And projection is good too. Can’t wait to wear this some more in the winter.

I do suggest trying before buying, but I see this being a scent most people would enjoy.

gxbjw

A fantastic cardamom bomb for mature men.

Uomo Signature is a sweet and creamy fragrance, but more spicy than it is vanillic, making it suitable for guys over 30 who would like something sweeter than usual. The most prominent notes are cardamom, cinnamon, and coffee. I honestly barely detect any leather here.

I wouldn’t second guess to wear Uomo Signature on a dressier occasion, but it would do a decent job on a casual outfits as well.

The performance is strong — 8+ hours and 4ft projection.

Buy if you want a sophisticated spicy, cardamom-based fragrance.

Tacosalad

This is a very manly man scent with a harsh citrus pepper cedar rubber tire opening. I thought it was terrible for a few minutes. BUT it dried quickly to a tonka roasted coffee smooth scent. I think the rubber I smell is the leather but it’s funky till it dries. Takes a few minutes to get its balance for sure! Stays for about a half hour then sits on skin as a mix of cardamom Tonka, pink pepper and coffee. Leather and patchouli lose steam and citrus goes away completely. The sweetness is not near as strong as the the original. I find signature to be a better all around. Don’t expect all coffee, it’s more pepper tonka and cardamom and hints of roast and leather. I would say it’s a over 30 scent for men that don’t want to smell like a mainstream playboy rather a gentleman and a scholar would wear this. It’s going to replace my detour noir with this. I find Detour way too cloying and overpowering. If you like the notes listed it’s a safe blind buy especially the tonka, and pepper notes. The dry down is a masterpiece and sits close to skin. I think the reviews that speak of sweetness are actually reviews for the original oumo which was thick. I find the only sweetness to be in the tonka maybe a touch of cinnamon in the pepper note. But Yea it’s good maybe great! 7.5/10 A mans man scent

Eibextario

Thick coffee-tonka bomb. Like sweet coffee showergel in the drydown, although the showergel accord isn't that strong. Insane performance for the price (bought it for 44€/100mL). I would call this a gourmandish-blue type of fragrance, or actually more blueish-gourmand. Works all-season - who hates coffee and showergel in the summer? Strong projection and almost crack cocaine for women, based on personal experience. Can't put this on in the morning when I hit the gym in the evening or I will nuke the gym with the smell. Eternal on clothes.
I originally sampled the regular Uomo, was put off by the gummybear opening, but liked the drydown, which was just a little too sweet. When I heard that there's a less sweet version of it (and without the gummybear opening), I blind-bought when a good deal came up and didn't regret it. Exactly how I wanted it to be.

Maxnyb

Great fragrance for the price range and for people who don’t want to spend that much. This is very masculine and mature. Dark and mysterious type of fragrance.
I pick up a lot of tonka bean, cinnamon and leather.
The tonka bean makes this quite sweet, maybe too sweet for some people so try before you buy.
My batch code: 10J90AR1 (September 2018)

Greenape06

Opening is foul to me- it’s wickedly sweet where it makes me sick. I thought it would progress to the dry down as more sophisticated, but it still smelled a little cheap to me. This might be the sweetest cologne I’ve tried- but other people get more leathery out of it. I simply do not. Can’t say I like this scent at all. However, this is nuclear stuff- it’s been 24 hours after 2 showers and I still can smell it, and I received a compliment that I smell like Nordstroms with nothing else on- so I guess that’s a good thing. Definitely sample it before buying.

Tyriel

Opening is lovely. But after 15 minutes I can only smell a big synthetic mess. It must be a note that my nose processes differently. Too bad. I have this problem with quite some fragrances, including D&G K EdP, D&G Light Blue Intense, Gisada Ambassador Men and Hugo Boss: Boss Bottle EdP.

Update: After checking them all out, I see they share one note: Cardamom. They must be using a synthetic cardamom note. As they all smell like a chemical mess to me.

scented_thoughts

Disclosure: Tried this in-store tester bottle, on 2 separate occasions, since I was looking for a coffee fragrance with a reasonable price range.

Sadly, for me, I do not pick out as much Coffee as I was looking for.

Main Accords from Top to Heart to Base: leather, musky, sweet, aromatic, spicy warm.

It's a thicker, heavier scent which can be a bit stuffy.

Pros: definitely projects, strong sillage and strong longevity.

**Can anyone recommend a fragrance with a strong coffee note/coffee is the main accord?
I'm looking for a fragrance that smells like a coffee shop, good projection and longevity.
Male/female doesn't matter. Priced under $100?
I've heard Polo Red Extreme, or Mugler A*Men Pure Coffee...opinions? Any other options? Thanks!~

Marcus925

It would be much better if it wasn't so sweet.

This fragrance had a lot of promise and potential, but to me the overdose of ambroxan just dominates and overpowers everything else, eventually cheapening the experience. I does get compliments and I wanted to like it, but the strong ambroxan note made me feel like I was smelling a Black Russian with mostly vodka and a dash of budget coffee liqueur.
After a few wears I gave my bottle away.

omega_garlic

I initially enjoyed this, but I rarely reach for it now and the last time I did, I washed it off.

It's a nice smell, but very very synthetic and smells cheap, especially if you compare it to other gourmands in this price range.

I paid €45 for a 50ml, but imo this smells more like a €15-20 fragrance.

I have yet to try the og EDT, but if you're considering getting this because you want a gourmandy scent and you don't have one in your collection, spend your money elsewhere imo - pay a little more for Azzaro The Most Wanted Parfum or a little less for Afnan 9PM. Or a lot more and get TF Noir Extreme, which to me is a 10/10 gourmand and I haven't smelled anything better in this style of fragrance.

Sample Uomo Signature first.

FirstSense

This gourmand fragrance created by Alberto Morillas is a charming tiramisu style masculine parfum. It's a lower budget one and that is noticeable. The opening is a very fruity sweet citrus and chocolate smell. Where it goes a bit wrong is that throughout the duration of the fragrance I experience an unpleasant pepper smell. If that was tuned down to a minimum than this could be a very good one. The original is to flat for me but also not bad. The black bottle looks great and the performance is above average. I like to use this when I go to an Italian restaurant/ pizzeria. But if I really want to treat myself with a sexy gourmand I grab my Tom Ford Noire Extreme. There is a slight similarity but that one is far more superior than this Ferregamo. But for a much higher price.

rafaelpdelima

Above average warm spice scent (specially for the price at discounters).

It has a rich invigorating opening and a spicy peppery sweet dry down with really good longevity and projection. It is one of the best performing fragrances in my collection (50+ fragrances). It lasts forever on my skin!

Unfortunately it is not very smooth/natural smelling, specially the middle of it, from 30 min until it becomes a skin scent (around 5-8 hours) - it is somehow harsh on my nose if you smell up close (maybe the pink pepper note?)... but it is good enough to get some wear during the colder months.

It is a decent pick if you want a cozy spicy scent at a good price (at discounters).
7.5/10 for the opening
6/10 for the middle / dry down (that is kind of harsh)
8/10 when it becomes a skin scent

Other fragrances I would wear in similar occasions (and are better smelling in my opinion):
- Valentino - Uomo
- V&R - Spice Bomb (original or extreme)
- Bvlgary - Man in Black
- Parfums de Marly - Herod or Layton
- Bentley for man (Original, Intense or Absolute)
- Pasha de Cartier parfum
- Dior - Fahrenheit parfum

Mjchaelj

Woah this is so nice. I’ve never smelled the original but this is really nice. Coffee, slightly spicy. It’s sort of like a mix between Armani Code Absolu and La Nuit De L’Homme. To me it’s a delicious gourmand. Yum. I will be reaching for this a lot.

8.5/10

Rob321x

Amazing. I like this more than the original uomo. If you are a coffee lover in frags than this fragrance is for you!

andrewpc84

Warm and spicy cinnamon scent, which is perfect for the fall and winter season.

It has a sweet tonka bean dry down and reminds you of a warm coffee shop. While it's not a leather scent, it's still a safe blind buy and is similar to Armani Code Absolu Giorgio Armani.

Perfect for those who love fall/winter spicy fragrances and it makes a great gift. It's not offensive, so feel free to overspray.

vrapjr123

Very reminiscent to the original. If you own the original, don’t get this. Very redundant.

torturedsoulboy

Not unlike it was the case with the original, I'm shocked at how subtly bad this is. Quite synthetic and the notes are off. Don't get me wrong this is probably a 6.5-7/10 scent but it could have easily been a 9/10 scent but it failed. I find that it smells cheap and instead of coffee I smell metallic sharpness. That being said, many people would be perfectly happy with this, especially the younger crowd, but that doesn't change the fact that it's suboptimal. I own the Coffee Break REPLICA by Maison Margiela and while it's not the same scent, it is in the same vein as this one and it is not only AMAZING but also VASTLY SUPERIOR. Try Coffee Break. You can also try CH Privé by Carolina Herrera which is discontinued but available and amazing IMO.

Purpose

Dark & dirty leather/coffee with vanilla/chocolate thing going on in the background.

Opens up with a strong leather/dark coffee accompanied by citrus. The citrus quickly dissipates and the tonka bean/cardamom join the party giving an almost vanillin/chocolate vibe. It’s not a dessert chocolate though, more like a slightly burnt chocolate smell.

I wouldn’t quite label this a gourmand like the original (which is sweeter & more fruity & playful). This one is a more serious, manly, dark roast coffee . Definitely for a 30+ man that knows what he wants & means business but can still pull off being sexy/attractive.

Signature reminds me of L’homme Ideal edt but with a stronger leather note & coffee instead of almond. Less sweet also.

Projection: Arms length
Performance: TBA (haven’t worn it yet or had it long enough)

These are my initial thoughts after spraying it 30 minutes ago. Will update on performance at a later date.

So far I love it! Exactly what I was looking for!

Akos89

The performance is quit praiseworthy on this one.
It's not a bad scent, just simply not my thing, too gourmandish sweet for me.
I don't get any specific note, maybe the tonka bean... maybe dark chocolate with a little orange?

Mklazer20

Had this for about a month wore multiple times and have to say I’m very happy with this purchase. Now as far as a coffee fragrance I can’t really pick-out the coffee. But it gives off a syrupy cappuccino feel with a vinyl/leather feel. Kind of sweet, warm, semi-coffee/caramel with a hint of powder on the dry down. I have been told that it smells great and projects well. But i can’t really smell it after about 10 mins, i guess you can become anosmic to it which at first caused me to apply a little to heavy but hey thats cool cause it smells so good. Overall i love this thing and I believe very few people would dislike it. Very smooth and a great blind buy if you are looking for a extra cool weather/ extra date night type fragrance, but i will be wearing this this summer also.

adhityapratistha

today i buy this uomo signature, for me this parfume scent so good but , it cant be same for other people,my opinion
this is night parfume and date , you go with black shirt black jeans black shoes and black parfume bottle , man in black boys

parfume scent : 9.0
longevity ; 8.0

try this the price good and the smell is beast ( if you like the notes)

my problem for this uomo just in the caps spray press , i like the usual one, this one spray pressbuild stuck with the bottle parfume , and feel like cheap plastic , this is just my opinion, if you see my review buy this for the scent, this one is my best top 10

rowan.walters

First time I smelled this on someone else I was certain I could detect the coffee note although in hindsight it might've been the power of suggestion because I've worn this four days in a row and on my skin there is precisely zero noticeable coffee and instead this becomes a linear, somewhat syrupy caramel custard.

Can't detect any leather either but "leather" is a bit of a mystery accord.
Not a polite, inoffensive fragrance for shy, retiring wallflowers - this is the fragrance equivalent of wearing a disco ball.
Smells good on other people though.

Thoroughly modern. This would probably appeal to someone who likes Eros, Invictus, 1Million and would perform well on a big night out.
Not quite as sweet as its tiramisu antecedent and a bit too sweet for my taste but as a fifty-something I am almost certainly not in the target demographic.

This is for young dudes - not old fogeys like me - and makes me feel like Grandpa Simpson:
"I used to be 'with it' but then they changed what 'it' was.
Now what I'm with isn't 'it' and what’s 'it' seems weird and scary to me.
IT'LL HAPPEN TO YOU!
"

Dumbplings

This is just Carolina Herrera CH Men Prive but with some coffee in it and I love both fragrances...I don't really smell any coffee in this though which is a shame because I love coffee. I love this scent but would love it more if you could smell the coffee and if it didn't have the overpowering leather spicy dry down which trust me it gets very leathery in the dry down which almost ruins the fragrance!

Zizi518

UOMO Signature is a warm spicy, sweet, and loud night time scent. The most prominent notes to me are cardamom, leather, tonka bean and coffee. The opening is strong, very synthetic and spicy. I started picking up cardamom, pepper and cinnamon right away, but not a whole lot of citrus. The sharp spicy notes sit on top of a sweet, smooth tonka bean base. Slightly powdery and dark vibes. As it dries down a little, the leather and coffee notes start to project more. Overall fairly linear. It reminds me of PDM Layton a bit but not quite as smooth, balanced and natural.

This is a good night time scent for the colder weather, and is pretty unique warm spicy take. It feels fun, outgoing, casual with some sensual quality.

I sampled this side by side with halloween man X and I have to say that this one have just slight similarity with it. Leather are more prominent than coffee and the smell is more pleasant than HMX. I would rather say it as poor man's AC Absolu with orange rather than chocolate feeling in AC Absolu.

georgios.doukas

My new bestie! Just naught it and I absolutely love it. Great juice, smells amazing 🤩

StacyJames

Great cold weather fragrance. This and Spicebomb Extreme are my go to from November to March. Initial spray is Spicy Orange. As it dries you get a sweetness. Wife loves this!!! The Sprayer could be better but the Juice inside is amazing!

FruityFragranceGuy

Just bought this new and the current batches I believe are from 2018 like my one. This sort of reminds me of CK One Shock and 24 Gold. I will test this out and see how it performs and leave another review soon.

GetGUD

I've been wanting this for a while now & finally did.
I'm sure my new to fragrances nose will get blasted for this comparison, but... this feels like a much more mature/gentlemanly version of the original Mugler's A*Men (the one before the reformulation). Uomo Signature is obviously nowhere near as sweet as the OG A*Men, but that's what I meant when I said a more mature version, or take, on that classic.

The leather, in my eyes, it's what gives it that more refined/mature feel. This isn't anywhere near as sweet/gourmand as A*Men, though Uomo Signature does have it's sweet aspects. But while A*Men felt more playful/youthful with the chocolate, coffee & vanilla notes, this has more of a 30+ feel to me.

And as nice as this is pre-dry down, when it's in that dry down, that's when I love it the most. Very much an easy signature scent for those who subscribe to that. Perfect for the cooler/colder months, beautiful in day time or night, and most situations that aren't super formal.

* As an addendum: My only true issue with this product... is the atomizer/cap. It's very flimsy & feels like a bad rendition of a Bvlgari Man type, which I don't like those as is, but at least they're sturdy. Other than that & MAYBE a bit more longevity, I've got nothing but love for this product*

markromeo5

I thought id like it more tbh, its just okay,
All i get is Coffee, leather and some citrus.
Thats it i don't get any Cardamom or Cinnamon or even Tonka! Which i was really interested in.
It smells good but cheap and very generic, its a pass for me.

Adugar220409

amazing. very well blended. changes every time you smell it. almost gourmand. very sweet. leather is there but it is overpowered by sweetness. if they would tone down the sweetness, show the leather a little more love and let the coffee float in the background with spices like cardamom and vanilla and cinnamon it would be amazing. but definitley too sweet for me

Elite Gentleman

Good, strong, accessible coffee, vanilla, and leather scent.

The cap is a complete mess and easy to break. Besides that, the price-value proposition is great. Recommended as an easy-going winter scent.

Hamzah_Dabool

An amazing price/value ratio Proving that higher cost doesnot mean better in the fragrance game.
My second most loved winter fragrance after spice bomb extreme , its spicy sweet warm and bubblegumy to my nose , the longevity is very good with a moderate silliage which is better for this kind of scent IMO.

The initial spray opens with a blast of orange, in the middle the orange toned down and mixed well with sweet tonka bean added with leather and cardamom, it's so captivating and creamy reminds me of Code Absolu, not exactly the same, although I'm fan of absolu but now i adore Uomo Signature bcz it's more balance than Absolu, in the dry down the coffee is play in the background makes it even better and warmer, it's a great scent for date night or just relaxing at home plus the pricepoint is very good.
Not project too heavily but people can still notice it, it's smell so good in the air, the longevity on skin can push 8+ hours, in clothes it will last days. This is so grown on me I'll give it
9/10

SAMPSODX

This is a beautiful scent, but cold weather only. It’s heavy.

I get stinks Bean, Cardomom, Leather and Coffee. Opens with a strong chemical smell, but beautiful on dry down.

3 sprays and my Mrs could taste it as I walked past her. So 3 sprays is probably over spraying. In the cold, it hits beautifully.

I will say that the atomiser is absolutely rubbish. It dribbles more than it sprays. That’s my only complaint.

Given the price, it’s a masterpiece. Overall 9/10.

Phalpin

I wasn’t crazy about this one when I first smelled it, but after my first day wearing it I am impressed. I received two compliments. The first was from a guy saying i smelled really good and asking what I was wearing. The second was from a girl saying I smelled “like a clean man.” The scent stayed on me for 10 hours and the compliments came 4-5 hours into it.

Jesus is real

Warm and almost gourmand. 👍🏻

buggaluggachug

i just got a sample from scentbox.. this smells like milk that has been sitting around for a while and started to curdle. disgusting, i am so confused. i thought for sure i would have loved it.

Mina Abdo

It's all about coffee, leather and spicy cardamom. Very sexy and addictive.

Trab

Is it a good fragrance, price/quality ratio is very good but I hoped for something even more special than it is and when I opened the bottle I broke the atomizer - I bought as well Halloween X for my stepson with Christmas and they are similar not identical and think Halloween X is even better value for money

DodgersLH714

I love Halloween Man X, and this scent definitely has the same vibes, but it is NOT redundant to have both. Beautiful quality scents coffee, leather, tonka etc, you know the drill. Get it before its completely gone!

jarno1208

Strong like, almost love. Very well blended. It is not as sweet as the original. There is not so clear notes that take the center stage. I was surprised by the freshness of the opening. Most likely a compliment getter. Evening and colder weather.

Migalex

This smells to me very much like the original 1 million, less spicy and citric, less sharp, overall sweeter and less complex.

Guccipordior

This stuff is so, so, so good. I am sure you have heard about it plenty if you are reading this review, so here is another one confirming that this is, indeed, the shit. This smells so fucking good. At first, the citrus at the top might confuse you. It confused me. It was sweet and slightly spicy, kinda reminded me of the opening of CH Bad Boy... I was wondering where the coffee was. The opening is very nice and bright, unexpected for a coffee fragrance. But once it dries down and the coffee starts wafting, its truly an amazing scent. One of my favorite sweet scents. Not super sweet, but very gourmand in the drydown with the tonka. I don't get a lot of leather, just sweet roasted coffee. It has a bit of a bitterness to the coffee that keeps it from going too gourmand. The "roasted" part I think sets it apart. This is some good shit fellas, ladies will eat you up

colognefreak

This is a stand out fragrance for those cool and cold evenings.
The opening is absolutely delicious and bright. It seems that there is something in the top notes they aren’t telling us about that really shines. Perhaps the pepper, but it seems like something else is in there, I swear it’s apple.
For those who say it smells synthetic, I say so what…it smells good.
In fact, it’s one of the better openings I have smelled and it lasts for a good bit.
As it passes through the middle notes, I’m really getting the cinnamon and the cypress “bite”…very spicey.
The final dry down hits the soft leathery zone with just a hint of coffee, a cinnamony carry over and a noticeable patchouli.
As it fades, and in the end, it goes warm soft leather and sweet Tonka …lots of it.
I can also smell the coffee note prominently, especially on my clothes.
It’s not quite a beast, but it’s close and four sprays will do.
Excellent! Rates right up there with the best of the designers.
One word of caution: It’s not an intimate fragrance, that is, it’s pretty potent until after about an hour in.
It’s best enjoyed by passers by until it settles…then it’s a warm, nuzzler.
Another similar option is A*Men Pure Malt. The dry downs are both spicy and masculine.

Jerre

This is a rock star of a scent. A coffee note that is delicious and long lasting. There is a bit of saltiness that you often get from oud fragrances and in this case sans oud, it follows the leather. Cardamom and tonka rich makes this a durable and endearing fragrance. Versatile and absolutely signature worthy.

yakzone

3 days I spray it 4 times, and wow....This juice is a 'signature' .. at least 3 women sequantely (not all at once) enter my room office today and they pefer to stay longer by asking unnecessarily things, how silly isn't, just sniff sniff. Habitly, I don't use any room fragrances at my office room, and i just realize that they look like pronouncly smell my SFU 'signature'. Bravo Mr. Morillas, you are the Master!!!

chankonabe

Compared to the original Uomo this one is smoother, more refined and the leather note is more prominent. The original more closely resembles tiramisu with more coffee, tobacco, and spicier overall. Performance is much better on this one. I'd pick this any day over the original. I think it's a good blind buy for cold weather or date night. 9/10

Fragaddict123

Ever since I tried the original uomo I couldn’t forget the feeling of smelling tiramisu from a fragrance bottle
And this one made it a little better
I liked it a lot
tweaks aren’t very prominent
Which keeps the original dna intact
Very good longevity and moderate projection

siddmoh

This is a great fragrance. I applied only 5 sprays, two on either side of neck, one at the back, two on wrists, and it smells delicious. It projects like a beast, 4.5 hours on my skin. I applied this fragrance on a fall morning at 8 am and everyone around me could smell it until 12:30. The drydown is smooth and smells more like a mix of coffee, leather and lipstick.

BrewCityScent

What are these folks smelling lol? It's literally the same as Prada L'Homme/Valentino Uomo, just amped up up sweetness. Smell good but I'm confused as to how one can find this similar to the orgininal Uomo and Layton lol

The Nose that Knows

Absolutely beautiful fragrance perfect for the fall and early spring. Safe for blind buy. You won't be disappointed probably the best of the line.

shravanbendapudi

If this fragrance was a band, it would be the Foo Fighters - accessible, mainstream, loved by many but has their own voice and an edge too! Love it for cooler evenings and just left of centre enough to be interesting and surprising that this is as affordable as it is and as well composed as it is. The coffee, cinnamon and leather mix together really well to form one harmonious scent. Awesomeness...

dlopeztt

This is a sweet, sexy coffee dessert.

Guinea54

This is a deeper slightly darker and less high pitched sweetness than the original. That being said I feel like this one smells more common. It reminds me of other fragrances but can't think of which. I get the leather right away and I can pick that note up pretty clearly. The coffee not so much, it isn't a super strong coffee scent at all. The coffee is more like the sweet tiramisu type of coffee but it isn't front and center- it's more in the background compared to the original but it's there. Def can pick up the tonka pretty strong. It has a little bit of a lavender feel going on as well. I would summarize it as sweet, leather, tonka with a touch of some kind of subtle lavender smoothness. I can't say which one I like better out of the two. I like both and would enjoy wearing either. I'd say the original is more unique though and maybe could stand out a bit more.

smokeorfire

Sorry, drydown isn't that similar to Layton. Sure you can confuse vanilla and menthol with tonka and cypress but then Eau Des Baux is closer in drydown. This is like Halloween Man X but smells more well rounded and of better ingredients. The pink pepper and grapferuit make the opening harsh and synthetic smelling. As is dries down the coffee and leather come to life albeit it subtly and mend nicely with the sweetness.

Chase86

This fragrance is essentially Parfums De Marly Layton for 1/4th or less of the price. The grapefruit in the opening is the most synthetic part but eventually dies down and smooths out with everything else. Besides the grapefruit, this beats Layton in every way for me. This also lasts over a day on clothes and lasts 12+ on skin. It's stronger than Layton for me and more interesting. I wore a whole bottle of Layton too and have 2 more backup bottles. However, I don't see the point of owning Signature and Layton both when Signature is clearly better in essentially every way.

This is insane too because Morillas made this where he's been known as a freshie king. This really shows his talent and how great he is at blending. This fragrance starts out with grapefruit loads of spices and tonka bean in the background. Eventually, the grapefruit will die down but it takes about 2 hours for that to completely happen. Interesting that people say Layton is a signature scent that you can wear mostly all year but this one is rated not somehow. I say this because Signature is even more versatile and deserves spring wear at the very least too. It has more freshness with the cypress. It's a truly beautiful composition and I started out with a 1 oz bottle. I've been wearing it and I do clearly think it beats Layton, even in longevity, so I'm glad I found a replacement. Anyway, yes, this starts out with grapefruit, cypress, and tons of spice. As some time passes, it is mostly a vanilla-like tonka bean with spices and a wonderful freshness to it. Good stuff and for the price it's wonderful quality on par with niche fragrances. I don't get lots of coffee bean or leather. I mostly get the spices and tonka bean. Either way, it's the best winter fragrance for the money that I've ever bought.

sunnydndutches17

its alright, the opening is so synthetic and sweet though, the drydown is better but i think there are def better fragrances for winter fall than this one. I dont really smell coffee its just sweet. like you are walking into a macys imo. not really my thing

Seby127

I got a compliment from a lady friend of mine that’s not a compliment giver and she wanted to know what it was. She had that puzzled face like she felt sorry she asked when I told her the full name though (not really, just trying to be funny here).

So it just goes to show how much of a master Alberto Morillas is at his craft. Yes he misses sometimes but when he hits, he hits big time (like Gio Profumo).

I thought SFU was okay but love SFUS. I ain’t ever running out of this stuff, forget it.

armando2021

I sampled this at Nordstrom. When I walked out I met up with my wife and within a few seconds she mention, what is that smell,, wow. Someone smells good. When she figured out it was me, she asked me what I was wearing? This cologne is a banger. I tried Halloween Man X, polo intense, and this one surpassed them in performance and quality. It smells like rich subtle coffee with leather.

Connors

A very nice spicy Sweet fragrance with a prominent leather note added into the mix. Bought this on the premise of it being a coffee based fragrance but my amateur nose doesn't detect it. But Top draw performance, last a full day or night out with a good scent trail.

SimplDude

Wow! one of my best blind buys. This is one of those scent profiles that I'm hunting for, sort 'a, kind 'a playing hide and seek between generic and exclusive, which makes it unique to my nose. I didn't know that this one smells this good. You can't expect an all niche quality from it but you can rely on it. Definitely a cold weather and an evening encounter fragrance, I like this one better than the original. Can be worn casual, smart casual, or even formal but I must say a good club fragrance too. I agree with some fellow reviewers here, the dry down seem to have that PDM Layton vibe. Of course, some folks may not like this fragrance but for those who seem interested, sample first.

So far, decent in all departments. I already ordered a new bottle for keeps. I will give this wonderful gem a 10/10

“Let us spread the scents of peace and kindness. The two most beautiful fragrance in the world that will cost you nothing and will get you a totally different kind of compliments” 🙏

bebson1712

Very spicy opening, reminds me of Armani Stronger with You Intensely, but more subtle and wearable to me.
The predominant notes on my skin after the opening are definitely tonka, cinnamon, cardamom and some herbs.

You can't go wrong with this, especially when you consider the price tag.

I would say this is a fusion of "Invictus Victory", "Stronger With You Intensely" and "Pure XS".

Overall, this is a nice warm, spicy gourmand for the colder days.

Blind buy worthy.

Diluthiorrus

7/10 (my overall score: 6.5/10)

Scent = 2/3
Performance = 3/3
Wearability = 2/3
Value = 0/1 (there was a time it would get a point for value, but it gets more expensive as it gets harder to find)

Opening really hits with that mandarin peel-like scent which is too feminine (in a Chanel-like female fragrance type of smell) which is not particularly the scent I'm looking for (on me). There is no coffee in the opening at all. As it dries down, it gets more into Tiramisu-like scent territory and from this point I'm starting to like it a bit more. Performance is great on this one which is really great. Not my style of a fragrance, I must say.
In short, it is like Versace Eros sweetness without peppermint brightness and added Tiramisu.
It is possible, it will smell much better in colder months. As for now, I like it, but I don't love it enough, nor I think I wanna wear something similar to this.

cris1011

Smells really good, tried both this and the original, the latter has that sweet tiramisu smell where this one is more intense and less sweet. Performance is stellar, 1 spray on the back of the hand and I could still get some hints of it after 24 h and 2 showers. Would recommend to wear during the colder days, but one can pull it off on a not so hot summer night.

Mr.dondunna7

I had the original Uomo so I was hesitant in getting this one because I loved the original Uomo and the sweet Tiramisu note did it for me, plus I put it off for so long, but I decided to get a bottle and see what the hype was really about. When I first sprayed this I instantly smelled the Italian Mandarin, Cinnamon, Cofffee beans and the Leather. To me the coffee and Leather notes makes this fragrance shine. It gives off this nice smooth edge to it, meanwhile giving that warm, sweet, sexy and sensual vibe. This is definitely suited for the Fall and Winter, especially the Winter. This has great projection and performance. People will smell you and the sillage that you leave behind will get them to wonder what fragrance you are wearing. One of my best smelling fragrances in my collection.

Russruss

Absolutely love this one. I own both the original Uomo and signature and I feel that this flanker is definitely superior. It opens very similarly to the original, very sweet and spicy but it later dries down to a very beautiful coffee and leather combo. To my nose, it smells quite different to the original in the dry down, so I don't think it is redundant to own both.

I don't know why there's a lack of mention of this smelling 90% like Layton in the dry down.

One of my best blind buy, easy 10/10.

MilesJamaica

Clean sweet leather. Its not dark and heavy. Its like beings in the back of a S class on a cool night.

Sorry I had to come back, its the 5th of June and I can give a better comment than my first impression. The bottle I have is beast mode.....10 hrs strong. The cap is weird so one day I sprayed one off by accident and the entire room lit up. The smell is amazing OMG. I will have this for life the value for is insane. 9/10 Just do it sweet clean leather.

FragranceFit

One of my most complimented fragrances. I get compliments from both men and women. Similar to Oumo but darker in a good way and less tiaramisu. Great for special occasions or if you are just wanting compliments.

Adog22

Very good. Soft sweet spicy gourmandesqe. Gets more sweet and gourmand as it wears. Coffee vanilla and I get slight lavender. A bit of chocolate in dry down. Causes SERIOUS nose blindness. I thought it never lasted I couldn’t smell it after a few minutes so I would drench my self. Didn’t realise until I was meeting a friend and they said they could smell me coming before I entered the room lol

Unmodernize

Ordered after almost only stellar reviews online. Reviewers refer to this as "spicy" leather type deal. While it's good, I think it's way sweeter than anything else, making it quite feminine. I have a very sensitive nose to sweetness in male fragrances. The bars of sweet, cinnamon and vanilla should be the dominant ones. Also get this distinct red cherry vibe. Well put together but not for me because of the candy sweet profile.
