Trussardi Eau de Parfum by Trussardi is a Floral fragrance for women. Trussardi Eau de Parfum was launched in 2021. Trussardi Eau de Parfum was created by Julie Massé and Violaine Collas. Top notes are Tomato, Neroli and Italian Mandarin; middle notes are Lavender, Jasmine and Dahlia; base notes are Suede, Violet and Patchouli.

TRUSSARDI is the new women's fragrance that has been created exclusively for us by Julie Massé and Violaine Collas, who have evoked an entirely Italian olfactory pyramid through a series of quintessential ingredients. The top notes hit us with the freshness of mandarin intermingled with the bold scent of neroli, to melt into notes of lavender, jasmine and white dahlia. The free, contemporary femininity of this new Trussardi women's scent is enhanced by the hypnotic and velvety base notes of a violet, patchouli and suede accord. The perfectly cylindrical bottle is decorated by glossy painted stripes in matte pink, black and white, with a golden metal lid, and is set to become a real piece of Italian design.

The fragrance is available as a 30ml, 60ml and 90ml Eau de Parfum.

strange peppery tomato salad

Sassafras23

When first wearing Trussardi, what’s that unusual note in the beginning? The tomato leaf! Not so much as a leaf initially, but like a whiff of tomato juice. It may not sound appealing but in fact the note successfully adds a novel edge to the fragrance, at least for me. Hail the tomato leaf! I do like the aroma of the actual tomato vine, but I find it acts as an X-factor in perfume for me. I wore again the two other perfumes I have with the note as per Fragrantica - Pop by Stella McCartney and Un jardin sur le Nil. Pop does have this distinctive tomato charm in common with Trussardi, but not Jardin. I checked Hermes’ official website for notes, and Jardin is not a tomato perfume (perhaps it was in an earlier edition). Speaking of the noses behind Trussardi, I love Blanc by Julie Massé and Pop Delights 02 by Violaine Collas. So far I’m undecided about Tuberose by Monotheme that is attributed to Collas elsewhere - primarily on account of the coconut. But Trussardi makes me want to try out other creations by these parfumers.

You know how people sometimes say this is a nice perfume but its not “my perfume”. Well, that’s how I feel about Trussardi edp. With the exception that I WANT it to be! I want to be the woman who can pull this off. Strong, serious, independent. The woman who can say “no” without getting too emotional. This is leather, powdery violet, and vanilla. Very dark and suitable mostly for fall. But at the same time somehow comforting. All of this creates a smell that I feel I have never felt on my skin. Interesting it was my boyfriend’s comment “this smells like you, like your skin.”

I bought this almost a year back, it's smells like a heavy parfume for night event.... However, after sitting for 1 year on my drawer, I try to spray it again on my wrist and suprisingly, it is not that heavy anymore... It smells powdery and musky with hint of patchouli and soft leather scents

Maybe my nose smell is different now because this is 1 of my 1st designer parfume that I bought. I was purchasing it together with Kenzo "L'absolute" and Trussardi Donna "Pink Marina".

Maybe I'll start layering it with my La Perla "Just Give Me Roses"

PS: I try layered it with Dyptique Eau Rose and I like it more better... Trussardi EDP gives more depth to the Eau Rose

Very patchouli-scentric IMHO!
It sounds both unique, both generic
I agree, beginning/middle notes are cute
Drydown is heavy and somehow masculine
On the whole it's rather a sweet patchouli-oriented scent

This is lovely.
I can detect the leather, and it gets stronger towards the base, but it is well blended.
Generic isn't quite the right adjective to describe this. It doesn't smell like a lot of other fragrances out there. It's smooth and it's classy.

A hidden Trussardi gem. The best Trussardi perfume beside discontinued Inside.
Tomato accord and white dahlia intrigued me to try this perfume.
The notes in this perfume are well blended. None of the notes stands out in particular.
What I get is the impression of a dusty pink velour garment, something plushy.
It also reminds me of pink clay, something earthy but girly at the same time.

This is a dupe (practically a clone) of LVEB INTENSE. Ι could even detect the hazelnut note right away which is the telling note on that particular LVEB flanker. Same as LVEB, this is powdery, sweet, long lasting and with great projection. I also enjoy even more its middle and particularly its base notes (as with all LVEB flankers).

I am actually surprised no one mentioned this uncanny resemblance!Anyway, great perfume for a great price! ;)

A beautiful designer offering (from someone who has slowly but surely become a niche snob). My only problem with this, much to my dismay, is that it does still smell “designer” and has a slight generic perfume-ness to it.
Either way, this is elegant, refined and pleasant. Don’t be put off by the tomato leaf, it is totally a non-event as this is a well blended perfume, it merely adds a little oomph to the top notes.
Also if you are expecting a heavy leather perfume you will be surprised at how soft and powdery this is, almost smooth and creamy. A lovely autumn fragrance suitable for daytime. And long lasting too!

EDIT - I actually love the flanker Pure Jasmine more! Quite different and a gourmand take (barely a Jasmine fragrance).

I tried it on paper a week ago. It was kind of synthetic, didn;t like it, but after some time it changed, and I love it now. I wonder how it smells on the skin.

Taurien

One of the most elegant perfumes I've tried lately. I really loved it and, if I didn't have so many perfumes, it could perfectly be my signature perfume in the fall season or cool spring days. I got to know it thanks to a 10 ml mini and, after the first use, I got the full 90 ml bottle. The 10 ml have already passed away...

At the opening the tomato and lavender notes feel just beautiful and in the drydown the patchouli-leather combo (the two most preponderant notes of the fragrance), only slightly sweet and with a touch of violet that provides a certain powderiness, are completely addictive.

It has a moderate sillage and lasts on my skin for about 7 hours. On the cool spring days that I have used it, it projects a little more. The scent that it leaves on the clothes and I detect the next day is divine.

It is a perfume that is present but subtle at the same time, it does not seem overwhelming to me but it has a lot of personality. It has conquered me. And that is something that has happened to me so far with all the Trussardi perfumes that I have used. My appreciation for the good work of this house with its perfumery line, both commercial and exclusive lines.

Such a feminine and a happy perfume, also I sense a signature alert here. And the bottle has a veery matching color to the scent. Not a super girly kind of a pink, it is just done right : powdery, pastel and a very soft shade of pink. That’s how the juice smells as well! Mamma mia 👌🏻

GUADELUPA

A wonderful fragrance by Trussardi. For me it's a suede (or leather) covered with lavender, patchouli and violet. I also can smell vanilla, though it is not listed here. But I don't find tomato or simply I don’t know how a tomato smells in perfumery. The fragrance is sweet, very light, very feminine. I imagine a suede purse or suede gloves holding a bouquet of delicate violets and lavender (well, tomatoes too). As a result, a pleasant scent of flowers - fruits - leather spreads in the air. By the way, longevity and sillage is good enough. I can smell it all day long and more on clothes.
P.S. The bottle is very unusual and very beautiful. Such a delicate pink-creamy-white colors are perfectly compatible with each other.
But do not judge the scent from the paper. I didn't smell anything from the paper. Finally, I decided to put it on my coat and wear for some time and ... wow! How beautiful it was on the clothes. I immediately bought 30 ml and enjoy its beauty!

I smelled it in a perfume shop a few weeks ago, and out of all the new offerings that they let me sniff, this one stood out the most. I found a good deal on a 30ml bottle recently, and so I ordered it. Wearing one spray of this on my wrist for an hour or so, this time I'm hugely reminded of Lush Twilight. The lavender note is prominent in both, and there's also a sort of burned-sugar note in both as well. Trussardi edp might be a tad softer so far, definitely not the sillage bomb that is Twilight (I love Twilight, it's quite heady and radiates a lot). I'm hoping for some more leather in Trussardi as it develops further, that's what I seemed to be smelling a lot of when I was testing it in the shop and that I'm somehow missing a bit now that I sprayed from my own bottle.

OMG 😭
I'm so glad I've purchased this
I was scared of that tomato 🍅 leaf note!
I was worried it would smell like a Mediterranean 🥗🤣🤣🤣
But this is so so good.
A powdery fragance, elegant, fresh and modern
This is what I thought - Gucci Guilty- would smell like, but this is so so so much better
I prefer Trussardi over its flanker - pure jasmine -

Edit:
Longevity on my skin with their lotion (3 to 4h)

Edit:
After sitting for a couple of months, the scent got incredibly stronger - 6 hours on the skin

Linett21

This one is very classic, so-called 'perfumy'. I can't detect any particular notes in it, but all in all it's very elegant. Floral-sweet-powdery. Just like an ageless italian ma'am with huge sunglasses in Milan. It's nothing groundbreaking-extreme, nor remarkable but it can be a nice, mass-appealing, safe everyday scent for women. Somehow it reminds me of my mother. She used to wear these kinds of scents... but now I can't name any of them. It's a nice one in a crowd that doesn't escels... but 'BOOOOORING' (via Villanelle)

cumulnimbus

I like this floral leather-patchouli. Well blended everyday work perfume. Correct, not too sweet, with a friendly price and quite good performance in terms of lasting power. Sillage is moderate, which I prefer. You need to like leather perfumes to go for this one. I'm really getting to love some Trussardi offerings lately.

Alina Mir

Absolutely beautiful, well balanced and unique fragrance. It’s gentle, powdery, the suede is very delicate and adds to this fragrance a niche aspect.
One of my best purchases this year! Amazing!
Perfect for fall time.

Mir5586

I just got a sample of this.
Opening was so so promising!
But not a few minutes later: heavy, masculine kinf of smell.
Cloying, too much.
I’m gonna try this again somewhere in the fall, see if I feel the same way about it.
This is super heavy, my God.

Tincel

The opening gave me high hopes, but 10 minutes in, it started smelling very cheap, quite cheaper than the 30 euro asking price, like young girls' gummies or scented crayons.

〰✴ An average chypre floral ✴〰

I tried this scent in a shop and really liked it at first, but now that I own a sample I changed my mind. I'm going to try to give both a subjective opinion and a more objective one, because even though personally this scent didn't convince me I think it might be good for other people.

As soon as I spray opening of neroli and tangerine comes out, very fresh and fruity. Then it gets sweeter and more floral, its chypre side emerges as well. I don't smell patchouli, but I do smell a little suede and violet in the base. Very classy fragrance that clearly wants to speak to an audience confident in their femininity. Sillage and longevity are pretty decent. Good perfume but quite a basic in my opinion, really nothing new. Seem very synthetic, chemical. I absolutely don't like the bottle design, not handy and with too many textures and materials. Also, the way the brand describes the fragrance did not convince me: "Daring and free, brave and fierce, feminine and magnetic”... too much going on here, for me this perfume does not reflect most of these characteristics. I believe that brave and fierce people would wear much more unique and original scents, so I felt like is nothing but marketing trying to play with emotions and identities.

In conclusion, I recommend it to people in their 20s and 30s who want to express femininity and elegance without daring too much with unconventional fragrances. If you like "Chloé" or "Ginza" by Shiseido, try Trussardi as well: they’re quite different, but I feel like the mood is similar.

Setting and feelings: You are in a very girly and cool bar with your besties. Walls and furniture are all pink, gold, white and black. You ordered a floral tea and a fruit pastry, super aesthetic and instagrammable. The atmosphere is perfect to take a lot of selfies all together.

Overall: 6/10

It smells to me mostly of licorice. It is sweet and quite strong and dense. As the scent evolves, the licorice note gets less pronounced and the scent gets more sort of vanilla sweet. Differently from other people, I do find this scent gourmand and do not find it innovative, but that is my humble opinion.

foreverine

This is a first impression review.

This perfume opens with a blast of juicy tomatoes. Fresh, green, and vegetal. I have never smelled something quite like this in the opening. The middle part for me is not groundbreaking and I almost thought that this perfume is forgettable.

Until the dry down gave me a thick suede note. That's about it.

Astara_Elaria

The modern way of Italian class. This is for a woman who knows herself, who doesn't need to pretend to be anything, to be tough or sexy or bossy...no. She is simply herself. And she knows that this is enough.

Her scent is just like that: simple and authentic. It creates a modest, friendly atmosphere. In conclusion, Trussardi wears around you as creamy and powdery cloud of some flower scented creamy lotion, the violet, patchouli and, most of all, the fine leather smell giving it an edge, which never comes off as harsh.
But as for myself, I am addicted by its first notes: on my skin it has the same glorious smelling mandarin orange as Miss Dior 2012 or Carven Absolute. And I just love it! No tomatoe on my skin, except a bit of its freshness from the green bushes, just that sunny feeling.

Good for a lot of events, office, family, church, a walk in the autumn woods with your friends, it creates a homely atmosphere.
So, it depends on what your looking for: the perfect scent to pair with your fine beige italian leather jacket? You may find it here 👍.
But if you are looking for a scent screaming "sexy bitch" and has the sillage of an exploding perfume factory- this is not 😉.

From me, thumps up 👍👍👍.

Power of Perfume

Sophisticated and strong fragrance. I'd say 8 out of 10. Like a fall/winter version of Yves Saint Laurent Libre. The bottle stands out, but I'm not sure if I like it as much as the fragrance in it.

Lilybythesea

I was actually given a sample of this edp, and I liked it quite much. I might also buy it soon. Not really my type of perfume, but that is how I discovered a new kind of scent that I could wear. What I like about it is the powdery touch and the softness of the leather in it. A perfume that I would perfectly wear in autumn and winter. On my coat it lasted many days, on my skin some hours.

Izzy78

A love at first sniff. You just cannot afford to pass such a gem in the sea of ....all the others.
It is a scent that I think will go down as iconic. Womanly, powdery, subtle, elegant. It does smell perfumey but does it very well. Smelt it and instantly felt white rich if that males sense. I am white and definitely not rich. It smells money, success, career, whatever people's backgrounds. I think the video ad is accurate, boats and Como Lake.
In a nutshell it is a dreamy viloety powdery version of Libre, very pleasant. A staple for work play, occasions, inoffensive. Beautuful, graceful. It is going to sound bad but it is also smells like lavender moth balls or infused moth products, I always enjoyed the scent, makes me feel homely and cosy in a good way. For any age, moderate sillage and longevity.

Hopefully no celebrity will use this and will stay a piece of art for feminist, and will not be ruined like Donna by being wear of all "seductive" exotic wannabe. It is a fragrance of suit specifically Trussardi, cold and elegant but still flourishing and with an almost fluffy finish. It seems to me that it is a perfume for the kind of woman who always wears only long trenchcoat of suede leather, at least that's what I see, an androgenic woman in a black suit over which comes the gray trench coat, at a crowded intersection in Europe, in front of a historic building that houses an important institution from which she has just emerged, and now is waiting for her driver to come with the black non-trendy sober car. It smells cold, but still slightly floral, so not really aggressive, and it has a bitter green patina and a leather just how I already said that smells like a new suede coat. And I don't think it's a coincidence with the perfume considering this year's Trussardi collection vibe. All in one I love it, I don't know how often I will wear it, but it will definitely stay in the collection and I will surely buy another bottle for a good friend because I'm almost sure will be a next signature for that person.

aldinatic

This is such a beautiful blend! That's the first time I can't detect particular notes, but just smell a beautiful scent :) The packaging is the best description of the perfume because it really fits what is inside :) Love it. What I will say is.. that the dominant notes are a blend of...tomato leaf(Italian inspired) sude, mandarin and dahlia . The dry down is not the best but has enough sweetness so the scent stays feminine. The initial spray in other hand has been most wonderful experience since a long time.

Nomen

It's been a while since Trussardi impressed me, My Name being the last one worthy of the famous family name. Sadly, I missed La Vie di Milano collection altogether, so I can't be judge of it and many from the line do appear promising.
I am so looking forward to trying this - hopefully it's going to be an original design. And I am already looking forward to a patchouli-free flanker :)

Forbiddenjade

Tomato with lavender and neroli... three notes that will fight with each other in my view. And I never knew dahlias were fragrant... to test, but I don't hold my breath.

bel.gravia

Oh look at that - no sweets! Brave, brave.

emilianods75

What's up with the LAVENDER note? everybody is now using it? personally I do not like it, but it seems to be THE note rigth now .

Bouquet Bleu

Tested it recently, well... "I heard this song before but don't know where". Reminds me of something very similar from early 2010s. In the opening it is a crowd pleaser but after some minutes there is too much dahlia - patchouli and it gets cloying, in a non gourmand sweetness with some barely underneath bitterness (that is how I feel dahlia, I have some growing in my window). The lavender or violet is what must be giving it a powdery touch, reminds something musky. For sweet non gourmand lovers of 20+ can pull off a day and an evening look, better cool or chilly weather, I can't imagine it in the heat.

Looks unique in comparison to what’s been recently launched. Hopefully this kind of creativity is persistent among houses in the current climate. Can’t wait to see this once it hits stores.
