I like the bottle for this one, Very Y2K, Very Barbie. It is a nice musky fruity-floral, Some light woody notes, And an undercurrent of cigarette smoke, Which may sound odd but I like that scent in perfume form. Longevity and sillage are okay, But it is the weakest performer out of all my Versace scents. For the price though, No problem. The Raspberry and cigarette thing reminds me a bit of my beloved Givenchy Hot Couture, If you like that one, You'll probably enjoy this. I think it's been discontinued, But still easy to find for now.

brandiwine1980

I am very conflicted with this one because it comes off slightly sour and bitter and I get a slight flat beer similar to some berry scents from BBW, PH, and A. Grande. I’m guessing that’s where the cheap, synthetic comments are coming from. On the other hand, this is slightly above those inexpensive, celebrity scents in that it is unique and the rose is well done, but I can see why some don’t care for this. Definitely test or find a deal on EBay or at TJ Maxx because Woman probably has a lot to do with chemistry. I mostly get the rose, raspberry and plum which give it a slight rotten fruit vibe, the musk and amber are present, but I feel more would balance it out. I won’t repurchase and may end up giving it away.

farben

Imo this is a grown woman scent, it reminds me of my primary school teacher. It has a very sweet, feminine smell and you can sometimes feel as if your body is producing this scent, rather than it being projected.
Beautiful fragrance, generic, but also nostalgic, perfect for transitional seasons.

epona1705

I saw this at my local TJ Maxx. The price was right, blind buy, surprisingly, I like it. It's soft. I pick up the rose and amber

Zahraa555

Sweet, soft and feminine. The smell of the 2000’s when my mom used to wear it. Cozy and comforting. You’ll mainly get raspberry and woods with some rose. Still modern and wearable. Timeless in my opinion if you want a fruity floral scent.
A very similar perfume to this is Miss Dior EDP (2021).

janeway

Got it as a gift (which, why are people blind buying perfumes to their relatives who they barely know?), it's so strong after that initial spray. I get migraines easily and this sure triggered a few. The rose is very soapy, old-fashioned; combined with raspberry and plum it gives off this dense, suffocating feel. I can imagine this smelling good if it was watered down a bit, but as it is.. nope, too fruity/sweet for my taste.

An Interesting Rose & Bitter Woods Scent...

My first impression of this was that it smells like a Rose-Oud scent, which would be ahead of its time for a designer scent in the year 2000, thanks to perfumer Christine Nagel. This is something I could imagine Kate Hudson wearing in Almost Famous (2000) which came out the same year. After the bottle aged, I pick up all the fruity-violet & woody-base similarities to Red Jeans Versace, but this is more rosy with a hint of oud-wood-ambroxan in the base. The woods here in the base are faintly bitter with ambroxan and trace vetiver (not listed), but Rose here is velvety, powdery, & sweet, while the raspberry-plum could be mistaken for a litchi note. This is a really nice rose scent, and distinguished itself from the plethora of rose/rose-litchi/rose-litchi-oud scents today with its bitter woods note in the base. This is a vastly underrated scent, and like the title of the film, this scent remains 'almost famous'. It's a love for me. Enjoy!

Old Elm

Immediate dislike. It's also very strong. A sour floral citrus cedar. Having trouble getting it off of my skin. Not a safe blind buy at all.

MTK82

A gift from a friend...I like Versace perfumes but was underwhelmed by this one. The notes are pretty confusing and unpleasant.

Durumi

This smells cheap and old fashioned to me.

I have some conflicting thoughts about the Versace Woman fragrance. From the cap, I really don't care for this scent. In fact, I almost got rid of it before I even wore it. The initial impression from the cap is an unpleasant sour rose, with the sourness leaning rancid rather than tart. However, when I finally tried it on my skin, I was pleasantly surprised by the opening.

The fragrance opens with a fresh spicy rose with woods lingering in the background. The fruity notes are there, but they are lighter and fresher than raspberry and plum typically are. Amber also makes an appearance in the background, acting as an anchor for the composition. It was during this initial phase that I thought this fragrance might be worth keeping.

However, my enthusiasm waned as time passed. After a few hours, the scent started to transform into that same sickly, sour scent that I didn't like from the cap. The musk and lotus combination turned unpleasant, leaning towards a sickly and sour aroma that was off-putting, especially in the sillage.

On the plus side, Versace Woman delivers when it comes to performance. It lasts a solid 8-10 hours on my skin with moderate projection for the first 4-5 hours before settling into a softer, skin-close scent.

As the name would suggest this is a very feminine fragrance. Although the rose leans fresh and pink, it is also a bit soapy. Due to this, teens and very young women may find the rose a bit dated. Versace Woman could be worn any time of year though I think it is most suited to springtime.

Unfortunately, my disappointment doesn't end with the fragrance itself. I have to admit that I hate the bottle. It looks cheap and tacky, with the cap and the neck of the bottle being particularly unattractive. The bottle itself could have been pretty with a different cap. On the bright side, the atomizer is generous and well-designed.

In the end, I've decided to rehome my small bottle of Versace Woman. While it has some redeeming qualities in the opening, the eventual drydown is a real turn-off for me. The initial promise isn't enough to make up for the sour and sickly notes that emerge over time, and the unattractive bottle design doesn't help its case.

The13thHour

Versace Woman is a fruity-floral everyday nostalgic fragrance. I love the Y2K bottle design! This brings back so many memories.

MuchoMuchoAmour

Did a blind buy, first impressions:
Very of the era it launched.
I'm getting lots of floral. It's upbeat, youthful a bit sexy. It reminds me of Fiorcucci's "Fiorcucci" perfume I wore back then, but a bit more sophisticated. I no longer have that bottle, but I'd love to compare. Going to let this bottle age a few and will update, but so far I am enjoying it on myself. Now if I can find an affordable bottle of "Blonde ..."

Sugoibee

I don't understand how people like this fragrance. One of the worst perfumes I've ever smelled cheap and irritating smell…

Lotte_Liese

This is a fruity-floral fragrance built around a predominant rose note. It's a lovely no-brainer, easy reach daily fragrance. Fresh, feminine but lacks the potency for seasons other than spring and summer.

Hashimah85

The strongest sweet powdery perfume I’ve ever had😀👍🏼the sillage so strong if it use during summer and longevity too. Better use at night and especially during cool season like fall and winter.

noahwjperry01

I may be minority .. but i am obsessed with this Versace scent LOL My fav is definitely Versense - but oh my gosh this is so floral and so pretty! I get powdery rose with a bit of juicy fruits - if I am to picture a scene to scent (which i like to do) - I picture a lady getting ready in her toilette wearing a satin white robe. This scent is day or night for me, i really like it after I freshen up !!!

kittywhiskers

Definitely get what others have described as a hairspray scent. At first I was a bit disappointed since I blind bought this and had no idea what to expect, but now it's growing on me. I wouldn't say this is necessarily a unique or earth shattering scent, but it's good for when you just want to throw something on fast and want a fresh, clean scent. The bottle and even the scent itself is soo early 2000s, so as a millennial it really speaks to me. It actually smells similar to a glitter spray I used to wear for my hip hop jazz dance shows back when I was 10. Takes me back to the days of listening to my Hilary Duff CD while I apply shitty blue eyeshadow to my face. For this reason alone it now has a special place in my heart.

peonies and musk

I’m picking up vague aquatic notes with a dose of detergent. It’s refreshing and a little too easy to wear for my tastes but beautiful nonetheless. And I’m thrilled to discover that it bears a very strong similarity to BLV ii to my nose!

NoelliaOphelia

I was gifted this perfume. I don’t mind it, but I really hate the bottle. It’s not to my taste at all. I also get more flowery than fruity, which is a shame because I prefer fruity scents. Keeping in mind this perfume is almost as old as I am, it isn’t bad, maybe a bit generic. I will be giving it another go in the spring, as I do think it’s more of a sunny, fresh smell.

Alces Alces

The bottle puts me in mind of a lotus flower bud, and there is a lot of lotus here. The lotus dominance gives Versace Woman that millennial/Y2K smell. Watery lotus freshness. Which is not a bad thing; it's clean and sheer. The raspberry gives it a stronger, more intense heart note than most of this genre. After an hour the raspberry really takes over to the point where on me it starts to smell like a packet of diet raspberry Jell-o powder. That could be the rubber band note because it also reminds me of those raspberry ketone tablets so popular about ten years ago - which smell like rubber bands. Glad I did not wear this in the early 2000's (Amarige was my favorite then). Because I did not wear this back then, I can wear it now without associated memory. The rubber band note is real BUT I like it. I like weird smells.

Woman and Yellow Diamond Intense are no longer listed on the Versace website, so I guess these are discontinued. Those are two of my favorite Versaces. I concur that there is something distinctly Italian about Versace fragrances; maybe it is because the bergamot is persistent and the sweetness is restrained.

talkaboutscents

Keyword: Sandalwood. I experienced its sillage on a friend for some days, and I can confidently say Versace Woman has an amazing sandalwood mid-drydown in the air, very similar to sillage of Crystal Noir sandalwood, which smells quite masculine. When i sprayed it on my arm it did smell like rose-y hairspray, quite millennial, a bit harsh, a bit old school, but the sandalwood can be picked up all along, if only marketing have decided to include in the announced notes. Jasmine leaf surely a cover for Hedione, and rose is most likely Citronellol x Phenylethyl Alcohol (PEA), bergamot/linalool but for me star of the show is sandalwood, like Molecule 04 in the air (Javanol) and Iso-E kind transparent woods plus musks to fill in the gaps and reduce contrasts.

VictoriaJune

Fruity floral hairspray opening which develops into a lovely musk. Lasts ages on my skin and days on clothes. Lovely everyday scent .

lady_ireth264

I had this perfume 10 years ago, but when I saw it in a discounted price at duty free, I grabbed it without hesitation.
Versace is one of my fave perfume houses.
Their olfactory palate is very authentically italian I think.
I love Crystal Noir EDT to infinity and beyond, I prefer Versace Pour Femme to Eclat d'arpege, and I love this one too.
Versace Woman is a lovely interplay of fruity floral from beginning to the middle notes.
Starts aquatic for me as somehow I smell the lotus first, and then I notice the fresh zesty bergamot with more floral notes mixed in.
And then I smell the cedar.
I agree that this stage may come off weird to some.
But the strength of the cedar will dissipate a little and you'll realise it's a wooden basket of fruity florals after all.
Not room cleaner or rubber band, but those baskets of fruits and flowers that pretty fairies will carry when they're dancing in the woods.
The musky sweet drydown is lovely too.
I think this is fresh, elegant and effortless.
Truly italian.
Sillage and longevity moderate.

karinatfragrantica

Got it as a gift but it is a big no for me. Way too outdated...really totally early 00s fruity-musky floral. It does not stand the test of time like some others of this genre, e.g. Noa.

Svartravn

Not a bad scent, I would never say it smells unpleasant, but it's not really for me. I can picture it looking (smelling) very good on a sales marketeer, or manager kind of businesswoman, but I am the contrary of this type.

lipstickzombie

I wish I can wear this. Sadly the cedar note here becomes mothballs on my skin. I had to scrub it off immediately. Everything looked good on paper but skin is the true test.

Kaoutora

Don't follow the negative reviews, I was in a perfume shop and tested most of the perfumes there, this one caught my attention, I smelt on a paper and all I could imagine was a beautiful woman in purple dress, I bought it and am wearing it now the opening is like a clean purple rain in a mauve atmosphere, the dry down is like an elegant woman wearing a black suit in an important event, very clean and smells expensive

Elisabeth M.

A typical 00's fragrance. The lotus is prominent in this one, projecting a slightly cold metallic vibe. A fruity floral, with a woody base. Generic and a bit non-descript.

Mobrien37

One of the most unwhenming fragrances I have ever smelt. I expected so much more from this. Very disappointing. Not bad by any means - just extremely generic and basic. Glad I’ve got it, will use it. But nothing to write home about.

danidgq

This perfume makes me think of rain

daphnemarie

A very soapy rose. It smells like a freshly cleaned women’s public restroom. It smells clean, but it also smells like a restroom. It’s utilitarian, it’s not sexy. I wouldn’t recommend it and I’m not a huge fan. I much prefer Red Jeans by Versace.

vanilie

some call it generic, others classic. i think this is an alright musky-soapy rose that feels comforting and does the job when you don't wanna wear something complicated. thankfully, it's on greener side so it doesn't have that old floral bar of soap sitting in some grandma's house from the 1980's vibe. it has that clean smell where you can safely wear it to the office or go to sleep. very affordable too. medium performer on my skin, on clothes lasts around a day.

master ora

A feminine Clean Rose scent, that lasts. It smells better the longer it stays on the skin.

marshmallow_chipmunks

This used to be one of my favorites but someone on here said it smelled like rubber bands and now I can't unsmell it :'(

Irinka. K

I got this for 16€ so why not? I smell all the notes listed. To me it's fresh, clean, soapy, pretty but generic. This is the kind of perfume that I'd wear when I just wanna smell nice and forget about it.

terigurl

Top 10 hands down! It's feminine, fresh, clean, sweet, floral, woody. Great for all year round, unique, long lasting, projects and will get you compliments. I've been wearing this gem for about 10 years. Such a timeless fragrance and safe for the workplace or date night.

tatVC

Its an ok winter perfume, kinda basic and a little mature smelling.

mariboo

This was a blind buy for me because I fount it at a great price at Ross. It was ok but made me feel old. I don't reccomend it for younger girls.

kiaoi

This was a blind buy, I found a 3.4 oz bottle at a good price, I checked the notes online and got it, for the sake of the early 2000s, Italian designer perfumes and a good bottle design. I must say that I didn’t like it at first but the spray nozzle surprised me, it sprays a perfect amount of perfume, perfectly sprayed in a circle shape (something I have never noticed on other perfumes, so it caught my attention). The perfume starts with a strong alcohol slap but it tones down as the scent warms up on your skin. I am sniffling it on my wrists as I write and I can definitively feel the top notes of rose and jasmine. I have been using this for three days now and I know what to expect next, the middle notes will softly change into fruity scents. After 3-4 hours I feel a sandalwood base note but I don’t see it listed here. This is a sweet but mature perfume, to me it’s not invasive, good for the office or for everyday wearing. It does well on clothing and maybe it lasts even longer there than on skin.

Fvmoustrilla

This is a very clean scent. it reminds me of baby powder or just clean laundry, its nothing special, its generic and soft but great for going to bed in my opinion. random but I also like the way it sprays .

Marie4004

Not bad, but too strong for me, it reminds me of detergent. I gave this to my mom and she likes it.

Ali Langer

A beautiful fruity and smoky rose that ultimately wasn’t for me. This pretty concoction lasts a long while on me and everything, but I just didn’t feel like myself while wearing it, and I found I was reaching for it less and less.

Ultimately, I gifted my nearly full bottle to one of my friends, and I hope she is able to give it some love! I would say it’s a safe blind buy if you enjoy fruits/smoke/rose, but try beforehand if you already have a large collection. I have over sixty fragrances (some not listed in the database) and thinking about using up an entire bottle of this when I have so many others I need to finish up still felt a tad overwhelming.

rqqq

This was my first branded perfume. I bought this during sale for probably 20 bucks when i was a student. I do not have an opinion over it. It was genetic and soft. I didn't even like as much as my shower gel.

mrichard00

I really enjoyed the opening! (Well, I enjoyed it after the burst of alcohol scent.) But after 5 minutes it smelled like a rubber band. I'm pretty sure that was the cedar note coming through. I ordered it as a blind buy for $15; I was looking for a 90s type-perfume but I don't care much for this cedar note; it overpowers the fragrance. Someone else mentioned it had a plastic-toy smell, which I can agree with. It's a hot day but I guess give it another try on a cooler day.

MiniMena

Perfect for a rainy day! As I was looking for a perfume to wear today I decided to put this one on. This is the first time it really caught my attention. It's a drizzly cloudy day...I'm binge watching a favorite TV series because I'm home from work sick. This perfume reminds me of the smell outside on my deck on a rainy day. Woodsy and fresh but with a slight feminine vibe. Enchanting and mysterious. I liked it before but now I love it! Another great Versace fragrance.

Dort0625

There are so many Versace fragrances that I LOVE that when I saw this for $19.99 CAD I thought why not, especially when I saw reviews comparing it to Gucci Envy Me, so I bought it blind and glad I did :) it’s not something I’m absolutely in love with, but I do really like it. It has a slight envy me to it, it’s one of those familiar scents like safe, good buy, fresh, girly and a blind buy worth going for. It’s got fresh aquatic to me which I find most fragrances like this do smell like that TO ME, to others-I dunno?!?!?! I’m happy with it!

D.N.P.

I bought this thinking it might change my mind about Versace frags. It was cheap and the bottle is attractive, so I got a tester bottle from fragX. I like the scent, it opens with burst of fruits and jasmine mostly, then develops into a clean soapy scent. To some extent, it reminds me of my detergent but i don't mind it because on me it smells fresh. Sadly, it doesn't last. I get about 2 to 3 hours tops on my skin with body lotion on, then it turns to skin scent that almost has zero projection power. On clothes, I noticed, it lasts only an hour or two longer than on my skin. I won't say it is a waste to purchase this, but if clean soap scent is what you are looking for, there are some better lasting scents in the market for similar if not cheaper price. The bottle design is still love for me though.

Balletflowers

So I just received my brand new tester bottle from ebay which I hate & always try to avoid buying from. I think I got a bad bottle, the scent smells like it turned & is old. I don’t smell any of the notes listed, it’s just very musky, sharp, almost soapy but not in a good way. Anyone else have this? I’ve never smelled this perfume before so I don’t know how it’s suppose to smell?

JacquelineRenee

I blind bought Versace Woman yesterday, and I must say that I am In like, but not in love with this fragrance. This isn't your average citrus, rose, sparkly type of scent. It's actually quite rich. When I say rich, I mean there are a lot of layers to it. Sort of like eating a piece of Tuxedo cake...the top layer of ganache followed by sweeter lighter layers of white chocolate that accentuate the deep ganache. There's a surprising amount of depth here. For me, I got an initial blast of rose, then the plum note became very prominent followed by a bit of the tang from the raspberry. Once it settled on my skin, I got the spiciness from the amber...very oriental. Sillage? All you need is one spray from this bottle...it definitely leaves quite a trail. I've never been one to say a fragrance is geared towards a younger or more mature person. I believe if you love the fragrance, toss your age out the window and wear it in good health. That being said, there is something about Versace Woman that screams mature elegance. It's actually kinda sexy. I might wear this for a night on the town, but it isn't something I'd wear to the office...In my opinion, it's not 'that' kind of safe office type of scent.

grapefruit352

This perfume I had in the past..I still remember its fragrance. I was a teenage girl when I have got a mini bottle of a Versace woman. It is very unique fragrance, not usual like rose-rose or citrus-citrus..It is a combo of several notes, which makes this fragrance quite complicated and not ordinary. There is also a specific spiciness in it..like in the most of Italian perfumes. Somehow by spicy notes which tickle sometimes the nose, this fragrance reminds somehow a bit "I love love" by Moschino. (fragrances are different although, but some components are similar).
Maybe I will repurchase Versace woman.. again one day...

hannahcartwright

Such a beautiful fragrance, so glad I decided to give her a try. She's a gorgeously done floral/woodsy 2000s bomb, it has such an addictive beautiful yet sexy vibe to it.

SallyGirl

Quite beautiful, actually. Blind bought this woman yesterday and am enjoying it! Lovely citrus opening with bright raspberries drowning in a lovely musky woodsy (think cedar chest) dry down. Very feminine and in my opinion sexy, with a low key sophisticated feel. This perfume is not a one of a kind scent but, it definitely has a little special something I can’t exactly put my finger on? Long lasting too boot! 8 plus hours on my skin, my husband liked it too so that’s a bonus. I’d say a solid blind buy for 19.99!!

princessbee

I love this fragrance. It's fruity, sweet and feminine without being too much. I love the raspberry and plum that I can smell in this, it's beautiful. I have had a few bottles of this throughout the years, it's a perfume that I always seem to go back to.

It lasts well on me - around 6 hours. I also think it's great value...I bought this recently for £16 for 50mls from Boots in the UK. It's also one of those perfumes that I don't smell on other people so I guess it's not really that popular. I think it's underrated though as I find it to be a gorgeous scent.

FiligreeAngel

One of my favourites!

Airy and fresh. Floral with a touch of sweetness. I think perhaps, a little underrated. Like a few Versace fragrances on the market this is easy to overlook. It is unassuming, effortless and casually chic. The raspberry note in this lends this a Red Jeans vibe. This is in no way as powdery as Red Jeans however.

Such a beautiful every day fragrance in spring/summer.

Naamiflower

I usually love Versace perfumes, so I’m not quite sure if it’s just my chemistry but this smells very mature to me. I don’t get any berry scent from this at all. It also has a very powdery finish. Now I’m not saying it’s bad at all, it’s just not for me. I use it here and there because I do like how for a little bit it smells quite citrusy!

rachellecunningham

It's the strangest thing, this perfume. Raspberry, rose and plum are all notes I absolutely adore, but this smells terrible on me (like, old drapes in a dark bedroom that hasn't been touched in 30 years terrible). So I gave my bottle to my older sister last year, and when she sprayed herself with a cloud of this stuff, my head snapped around so fast it actually hurt. It was completely, totally, astonishingly different on her. Bright, sweet, fruity, powdery and SUPER feminine. It was easily one of the prettiest perfumes I'd smelled in a long time, and I was shocked when I realized it came out of the same bottle that reeked of musty sheets when I tried it. So I guess I'll give it a like, because I capital-L Love it on her but it's just awful on me. I mean... it's been a year, and I'm still in disbelief when I think about it.

crystalplanet0013

Well, I received this as a gift from my aunt for my 24th birthday, which was two years ago. At first, I thought it was the most boring thing in the world and just stored it in my closet for a long time. But then something happened (a.k.a. something changed in me) and when I tried it out again I started perceiving it as beautifully femenine and classy, tender, semi-luxurious fragrance. However, this doesn't blow my mind and I don't think it's conceived to blow anyone's. Instead, just to embody the simplicity and at the same time, the integrity and the softness of a full, well-roundedly recognized Woman.

GinaDK

So far, it's the only rose perfume that I don't hate. It's a true nineties perfume, takes me back to my teenage years (although I've never used it before) - must be because it's so light and girly.

Nicki6089

When I got back into perfumes 3 yrs ago this was one of the first perfumes I bought and it was an instant love for me. I don't get any fruits it's mostly floral with a hint of an aquatic note it's a pretty scent that gets me compliments I even had a guy follow mw around the store telling me how good I smelled and another guy told me that I had outside smelling good, this will always be a repurchase for me

Jmalone84

Smells like powdery orange blossoms to me or some kind of citrusy laundry powder on the twat strip. Keen to purchase a small bottle to experience on my skin. Smells a little unique and I’ve overlooked and been unaware of this for years. A gem hiding in plain sight perhaps.

LMD

I have bought a lot of samples lately to combat lockdown boredom and this is one of them. On first spray I was sorely disappointed. I thought it was a floral bomb, with no fruits or individual flowers discernable. It felt a bit older woman to me (which is silly as I am in my 40s) and reminded me of how my mam's friends used to smell on their nights out or special occasions. But then the dry down came and oh my. It turned into a beautiful, soft woody dream. I couldn't stop sniffing my wrists. I have worn it a couple of times since and I have grown to really like it. I am considering getting a bottle once the sample is used up. It's very feminine and easy wearing I'm glad I gave it a chance.

asiabal

If you ask me to define this perfume, I can say that "an elite perfume which is reachable for every woman". It is very floral, feminine and soft. Although it is defined as "sweety", for me- as a sweet fragrance hater- floral notes are definitely stronger than fruity notes. So, this well-balanced perfume is also suitable for floral fans.
(PS: If you are not a +25 woman, it is better to use it just for special days/events)

Miasha

I love this fragrance since it is very feminine, soft but not too soft. This is the one I always go for when I want to be just appropriate, and not offend anybody - but still have my own personality. I have lost count, actually, of how many bottles I have used...a keeper, it seems!! 😉🙂
One thing - I was pretty sure I could feel carnations in this, and I love that, but no! - obviously not, when I read the notes here. Instead, I was very surprised to find that there is raspberry! I still don’t feel that. I sense this to be a fragrance of flowers and some light spicyness, and wood and a little musk to round it off. Not berries or fruit. Well, what do you know!
Anyway, this is a classic for me, and I love Versace!!

Science&Scents

This is great! Sweet, fresh, floral, hint of woods and a musk that lends a fair amount of sophistication. I see the woman wearing this as one who is confident in what she likes: vivacious, modern, feminine and yet tastefully modest.

I'm not sure I'm picking up raspberry but definitely plum, rose, musk and woods on the skin. However, these notes were rather difficult to discern on paper.

Longevity is decent as is projection (I agree with the voting tallies above). So happy with this one. A spring go-to scent that I foresee working well in the fall. The rose may be too heady for the summer but time will tell.

KittyDeBeauvoir

Light, sweet, romantic, sophisticated, floral musk - heavenly!

This perfume has been a part of my collection from very early days. VERY early. I'd say a good 10 years.

I've never regretted it - or got sick of it! It was never overpowering or felt underwhelming. I don't fully understand how anyone can say this is overpowering. It is so light and gently intoxicating. There's no smack in the nose / head, and it's a great office perfume.
Conversely, it's a fabulous romantic evening perfume!

Romantic, sensual, feminine, and sophisticated is how this strikes. Similar to "5th Avenue" by Elizabeth Arden in that description (not its smell, though). It's a lot less heady than "5th Avenue"...and more versatile as it can be a day or night fragrance.

It's not a typical Versace perfume. The Versace brand strikes me as one that wants to portray itself as uber-sexy, glamorous, innovative, even a little over-the-top. This is too gentle and sophisticated - but this and "Crystal Noir" (much more suited to that brand marketing) are my favourite Versace perfumes!

Looking at all the notes, it's difficult to pick out a front-runner - it's just such a well-blended composition that there is no major star. If I had to pick out the most likely notes I'd say frangipani, raspberry, and musk.

*Happy sigh*
It's such an underrated joy, yet I ADORE it.

This is beautiful and sexy but sadly it just doesn't last more than half an hour so I won't be buying it again

rihabi

A sugary fruity floral. It's nothing unique, but I am enjoying it anyway :)

I grew up in a house where all I saw on my mother's and grandmother's vanities was bottles of Christian Dior, Chanel and Rochas perfumes. No dupes or cheapies.
That's why I developed this fascination with fine fragrances and I passed it on to my children.
Versace woman is categorized as a superb perfume in my book. It's fit for a true lady. Smells divine, very longlasting and can be worn by anyone.
My 82 year old mother enjoys her bottle now as much as my daughters and I enjoyed mine before. It's literally her favorite at the moment.
Big shout out to Christine Nagel for coming up with this timeless creation.

Versace Woman is a timely fragrance I just love!! I have had like 3 or 4 bottles already and still love it so much. It is a fine, elegant and feminine fragrance, a perfectly balanced blend of musk, wood and rose, just like a warm embrace. Longevity and sillage are great. Woman is a true gem! I always get compliments when I wear it.

Diaryofsmallthings

This is truly a joy to wear! Not just for the pretty scent, but also the way it sprays from the bottle and the beautiful blossom-shaped bottle itself.

It's a sweet floral, but not too sweet. It's one I would say is immensely feminine and soft. The raspberry is very fresh smelling, as if it's been chilled then taken out and eaten straight away. Combined with a delicate rose, light woods and a very light lotus accord. I say light because for me usually lotus pulls very strongly on skin. Add in a light musk also. No note is ever too much. It's all 'just right'.

A perfectly chic spring scent. A favourite of mine and I hope it is never discontinued.

Kaejacinto

To me this has that nostalgic 90’s grown up woman vibe. I worked hard to get this perfume and I love it. I think this smells great on 35 and up women who may be confident and sexy but definitely married (wife material) - IMO. Its MUSKY, SWEET, Woody —- thats all
i can smell and the longer I wear it the better it smells.
I love it! Plus its so cheap! Pls dont ever discontinue!

LadyIva

If there exists a female fragrance that should be labelled ‘universal’, it’s Versace Woman. It has a little bit of everything: it’s rosey AND fruity AND summery AND sweet AND woody AND ambery AND syrupy AND musky... Still, since it’s a Versace, the sweet/fruity component eventually prevails. It’s like a mixture of Chanel Chance Eau Tendre, D&G Light Blue and a celebrity sugarbomb. Kinda nice. It's very cheap nowadays - I bought a 100ml bottle for € 24. I'm not sure I'll be wearing it, but I might gift it to a friend.

mevans

Slightly sweet and definitely floral but more fresh, light and citrus from the bergamot. It's also a musky, woody scent. On it's own I would call it a summer fragrance. I added a small spray of plain vanilla and that was quite nice. It warms this fragrance up and it took the vanilla to a different level, making it more complex. That combination would work nicely in the winter. I didn't have a problem with longevity as others have mentioned.

aqua76239

as soon as I smelled it, I knew it reminded me of something and then I realized what it was-Red Jeans, minus the peach note. I owned Red Jeans before and gotten compliments on it all the time. This is its more refined and sophisticated sister. It does have some of my favorite notes like jasmine and frangipani which does makes it very sweet and it has hint of rasberries. I noticed that some people describing it as burned wood type of scent and its most likely has to do with individual chemistry. I really like it and find it more interesting that lot of current releases

vanilliasky

i'm a fair skin woman and this is too sweet on my skin. but i like it. pretty and feminine. it's long lasting on my skin.

scentsational taste

This is what I remembered Romance by Raph Lauren to smell like but that is awful now very hollow and lasts 5mins. This is what that should have been a perfect elegant but casual fragrance for girls or women who are not frilly

Deepblack

I don’t know how reviewers feel this is boring or bland. For me it’s very complex and very unusual. It lasts over five hours on me. Maybe it skin chemistry....I have an oily skin. On my skin it’s clean and fresh with a slight aquatic scent! I find it difficult to detect the rose. Maybe it’s the blue cedar that feels aquatic. I have worn this in the past and recently purchased it for £16.00 in Boots. A total bargain! Whenever I wear it I feel feminine and dressed up.

AaronStar

The bottle does look like the type of rose it holds inside, not a common rose but a flower-rose species, Rosa rubiginosa, which is pinkish and looks more like a flower, I have not smelled it, but this is not your common red rose scent.

Each flower is about one inch in diameter and has a total of five petals. One unique feature of the Eglantine rose flower is that it blooms only one time each growing season, which lasts from late spring until the middle of summer. Inside of the flower the stamens are yellow in color and are very noticeable.
They have a very eye-catching bright pink color, thick petals and white centers. The flowers are small and are produced in clusters consisting of two to seven flowers on the shrub.
Despite its popularity as an ornamental plant, it is considered in many areas to be an invasive species since it easily takes over the area it is planted in and pushes back native plant species.
The Eglantine is native to many parts of Europe, western regions of Asia and some areas in northern Africa. Although it is naturally a shrub, the Eglantine rose can also be grown as a running plant. The Eglantine flower is a type of sweet briar rose that is unique since it is a wild species and not a hybrid species as most rose plants are.

So Versace woman is dominant, she takes her own space, she is popular, she is wild, sweet, is a model of beauty and is possessed of originality. She draped in delicacy and has a gold heart, she is unique.

Versace Woman fragrance notes
Frangipani, Jasmine, Eglantine, Padparadscha Lotus, Blue Cedar

The Bottle looks like the rose it features.
Sweet briar or Eglantine (Rosa rubiginosa) flower.

dglightblue

Versace woman
5 sprays chest, under top, back of neck, elbow...
Mid summer, stupidly hot and humid.

I like this immediately. It smells a little musky, little woody, hidden non rosey rose, and must be some random fruits back there hibernating.
My 5 min fancy.
Poor poor longevity, under 20 mins.

Pinyae

Someone wrote it reminds them of Versace Bright Crystal or its sister. Bright Crystals older sister was my first thought when this settled on my skin. The quite rosy older sister with some wood, maybe even smoke.
To my nose there's something "unusual" in Woman and I wasn't completely bored.
I can see why one would say there's something plastic-y but only at moments.
Actually like this quite a lot but sillage seems to suck on my skin at least. Think I'm going to dare to try it when the weather gets warm!

violetbelle

Very grown-up, slightly sweet, ultra-smokey raspberry & rose meet wood. I typically save it for cold weather when I'm craving fruit and warmth. There is something naughty about Versace Woman, a kind of "rough around the edges" sensuality in those woodsy notes that gives the impression I've just left someplace I had no business being.

justchillinxo

To me this smelled like honeysuckle and rose mixed in with something plastic and tacky. Kind of old fashioned and cheap smelling.

SweetLadyForOne

This one's a No for me dawg. Nope. I have $3 bodysprays I like better. I think it's the wood. I love some Woody scents, but this wood smells like a stack of 2x4s. Also the rose. It's a fairly sharp Rosey scent. This one really didn't work for me!

APULIAN

very femminine, very donatella versace. the rose is dominant, well balanced so it's not strong or offensive. in the back there is a fresh and sweet vibe. seductive and elegant, it's available for a cheap price. it's very underrated, i cant understand why. performance is very good, if u sniff closely it is strong but the sillage is very gorgeous and delicate yet detectable. better for 25 and up, good for any season but summer, for day and night. girls, try it if u can. consigliato a tutte le ragazze.

Soofiya

Dabbed a little from my friend's mini.it's a nice grown-up perfume but not something I'd like to have.I can get berry,plummy-rose,cedar and musk but I won't call it an overly rosey scent, not an overly fruity one either.after a while it dries down to a musky cedar with a hint of florals
Too much woody for my taste

Jorjianaaa

Got this from a family member. It's sweet and feminine --too sweet for my taste actually-- but I'm okay with that. It's also musky and Woody. What I liked about it was its longlasting longetivity.

justfloral

It's very 90-ties scent. Raspberryish rose + scent of sticky petunias' and surfinias' leaves at the end of a hot day + orange substance produced by ladybirds when catched (!)

tim.milestone

At first I wasn't a fan of this perfume. It was definitely unique but I wasn't sure this would be something I'd want to smell on a woman. After awhile the smell grew on me and I found myself craving another wiff. Beautiful fragrance.

demhayerawsah

This perfume is very Versace.
Sexy, floral and kind of smokey. It works both day and night, but my personal preference is for this to be worn during the Fall.
I found it to be very long-lasting, and increasing in depth as the day went on.
I wouldn't describe it as spectacular, but it is nice enough.

aprilpure

I'm not usually a floral kind of person but this is nice. it is a nice blend of light floral and warmth. I like that it's sweeter and softer and more feminine than my usual woodsy, fresh and citrus choices.

diamond74

Versace Woman is an elegant, feminine fragrance. On myself it's a bit powdery, rose musk and wood notes. It smells nice as a weekend at home or work scent. I will finish my bottle, but I won't repurchase. There are so many other nicer perfumes.

P.S. the bottle reminds me of a bingo dauber and it doesn't stand very well

Update: I know, I said I wouldn’t repurchase, but man I’ve been really craving this perfume lately. Guess I didn’t realize how much I like and miss Versace Woman.

apollinne

I just received this from my boyfriend 3 days ago, because he liked it very much. At first smell, I was not attracted too much, especially by the top notes, but already from the middle ones and the whole drydown, it became extremely pleasant and cosy, just like a sunny Autumn day with a hand full of warm chestnuts! After a short lookup I was astonished to see the nose behind it is Christine Nagel, which at the moment presents a great fascination for me because it seems I am extremely fond and inspired by her creations. I already tried layering this fragrance with more sharp, masculine juices and the results are quite nice. In any case, you must try it before buying, but if you like nice fruity florals, I must say this one is a winner especially because it adapts to any ocassion and environment.

emma.runyeard

I go for months without this and then I start yearning for it - it makes me feel good about life - it's perfect for this time of year x

Germanblonde

BORING! I wore it today, and had really forgotten how boring it really is. First of all, I can hardly pick up any scent after half an hour. So I need to spray the heck out of it to be able to detect anything at all, and what I catch is merely boring niceness. It is not a bad frag, don't get me wrong, it is pleasant, but that's about it: just pleasant. On the same boredom-scale like L'Air du Temps and White Shoulders. I will use it up eventually, and hope I don't accidentally repurchase down the line. There should be a "feeling indifferent" botton on this site. I mean. I don't actually dislike it, but I also don't like it. It's a "doesn't do anything for me, so I couldn't care less" frag. I have a few of them in my like category, because it's not really hate, but just meh. Well, maybe this needs to go to dislike, because I really actually do not like it. I guess, that's where I will put it now.

lirael00

Musky fruity sweetness that I adore wearing in the hot summer days. Didn't like it from the start but eventually I fell in love with this fragrance. Looking for something fresh and berry like that is not watered down? Versace Woman might be your lucky find.

biki

Update- It got on my shirt and I found out I really like it on clothes. Somehow it actually complements my fabric softener instead of clashing with it like I thought it would. On my skin, however, it will sometimes acquire an almost Treasor-like heaviness only at the start. Btw the slight sweet powderiness puts me personally in the mind of Avon Sensuelle. P.S. The drydown seems to be etherial to me. Finally I have found a fragrance that showed me what it means when people use this word.

biki

Some people say it smells like a dio and I can understand where they are coming from. To me it smells powdery and a bit like a sweet-smelling hand cream but it somehow gives the impression of elegance in the same time. Good longevity.

Roxanne25

I bought this one about two years ago totally blind, during a boring flight from Italy. When i tried it at home i realized it was a very nice addition to my collection and - by coincidence - epitome of italian chic. I like a lot the elegant vibe of Woman - nothing over the top, nothing too much, just clean, floral scent with added raspberry sweetness. May seems a bit ordinary but the truth is that Woman fits any occasion, any season, any dress code. I feel confident when i wear it, it's like an old friend i can always rely on.
Rose and jasmin - two of my most beloved flowers - in a hug. Musky base and thank God, i don't feel a lot of amber, because sometimes amber smells heavy, even dirty on my skin. Not in this one. Sheer feminity.
And it is sexy too - the way a white silk shirt is.
Seriosly underrated gem from the house of Versace.

meliecat

I had it first hand when it was out - bought it off a friend who got it as a pressie but desperately needed money - and how I loved it back then in my twenties! It`s a sweet and yet sexy perf, not any of the others I used before that point in life had this playful chutzpah before, let me not explain about Vanilla Fields and Impulse Spice..:-D
I bought it again and again since then, yet I think it is more of a `young` scent..Something that belongs to under 35 anyway, and as you develop a certain taste in perfumes over the years you just `grow out` of this one.I think the rose, fruits and citrus blends in brilliantly with my skin, but at this stage I would choose an `intense` version of it, if there was one..something more intriguing and complex. But I still like to take a secret sniff off others who wear it - for old times` sake and the memories that go with them. :-)

Siv7Stars

Pretty, soft, feminine. Not very exciting but a lovely every day fragrance. The packaging is perfect for it somehow, sweet, quite simple but reasonably sophisticated. Ageless scent, very well blended, I don't pick out individual notes and I really like that about it.
The advert with the woman practically trying to snog her own reflection is comically dire and off-putting. This charming amiable little creation didn't deserve that.

icecream_milkshake

*Second review*
I haven't used this fragrance in quite a while, so I though I would brake it out today. At first, all I get is a strong rose scent, which lasts about an hour or so. I do like the initial scent, but then it starts to smell more and more like plastic. Like some plastic toy or something. I didn't get that before, but now that I do, I do not like it very much.

I will give this to my mom, if she wants it.

savageinstrangeland

Have you ever encountered a designer whom you desperately WANTED to love their fragrances but literally EVERY one you try is a disastrous scrubber on your skin? Well, I have, and it's unfortunately Versace. This review probably isn't helpful except to say not a safe blind buy, but I'm writing anyway because I'm curious if anyone knows why this might happen? Is Versace using some ingredient in every fragrance that other designers are not?
Every Versace fragrance I've ever tried goes all alcohol & sharpness on me. Woman was unfortunately no exception. And here I am, such a relentless perfume hound, that I still have high hopes for Crystal Noir which is one I've yet to try and refuse to take off my test list despite my struggle with other Versace fragrances. lol

Woman didn't get as sharp and screechy on me as the other Versaces I've tried, but it just smelled like a linear blast of cedar shavings (like from a hamster cage) that were used to soak up spilled fruit juice and alcohol! This is obviously a personal issue/ chemistry complication. It seems by the reviews that it works great for other people. I just know I can't be the ONLY person on the planet with this chemistry so my advice is thoroughly test before buying. I've yet to come across a Versace that was a safe blind buy.

aadaa84

Striking smells like incense and incense only.
I'm orthodox and here they use incense very much in churches (especially for funerals).
I associate this perfume with church and death, it's horror.
I had to wash my wrist several times (it's very long lasting for that matter).
Strong and aggressive, you should wear it when you go to fight and break up with your boyfriend :)

rihabi

It's good, even really good for a daily use, inoffensive, delicate raspberry-musky thing. Was on my wishlist, but now that I've had a sample, I made up my mind. It's nothing special, I mean, not to die for, but pleasant definitely :)

Contessa01

This is woody floral done well, a nice blend of berry and woodsy notes. While it's not a must have I suppose for me it really has a good place in my collection for day to day events, shopping etc. I gave away my bottle and went and bought another. I think it's worth owning.

Lilii

Beautiful! I have been searching for this for sometime until I found it online. Very difficult to find in my country and I have used half of a bottle in 2 months and already got complements on it from colleagues.

I smell a combination of honey, tea and rose in this one. i do not know why I smell a strong honey note. Very subtle, feminine, soft, young and elegant. It can be worn everywhere and even if It is subtle and it is long lasting too. A unique perfume and the bottle is gorgeous. The ideal time for wearing it is spring and autumn.

This is the first floral woody musk perfume I have had and was a successful experience :)

ra7ma

Unfortunately, I did not enjoy this fragrance. I don't know which notes my body chemistry is clashing with, but it smells like cigarettes and tobacco mixed with sweet, fruity notes on me. And those are my least favorite things to smell. A blind buy, I got this from TJ Maxx, assuming I would love it because it was Versace. I might give this to a friend and see how it smells on them.

mystica

Fresh, sweet, floral, fruity, day time, feminine frag. Suitable for all seasons, ideal for spring. Longevity and sillage moderate. Non-offensive, suitable for work. Very acceptable creation overall.

slavka.filipova

I gave this to my sister in low she fell in love in it and people like it one her even ask her what she is wearing but on me is nothing special really.

7/10

Arlene-Beatrix

Very feminine, it smells like skin, but better. Plum, jasmine, raspberry, woody notes, musk, amber. Well blended, very Italian. I truly like it, but it's too warm for me.

Dazzling

This is one of the best, most beautiful compositions, yet probably the most under rated fragrance by the house of Versace. My signature scents are usually very very strong ones as my skin just drinks up everything it gets and in a bit, everything is untraceable. This however surprised me by its longevity as well as spillage. Sprayed just a tiny bit at night and sport feeling like a princess! Woke and and wow! I could still smell it! That doesn't even happen with black orchid by Tom Ford on my skin! The fragrance itself is gorgeous, I do not get any rose but it's such a gorgeous blend of vanilla, flowers and fruits that I would almost want to eat it! It's such a big winner and a total keeper that it almost puts all of other Versace fragrances to shame, in terms of composition, longevity and spillage!

cmoca

I guess it's been reformulated, because I used to love it, and it lasted even a week on clothes, but now everything about it kinda sucks, and just has that one little something to remind you (trick you) into buying something you think you know.

kiristarr

Raspberry and strong leather with a touch of incense on my skin, this is not a little girl's berry scent. I wouldn't expect Versace to do raspberry any other way.

Angel Cat

This is a GEM!!! Beautiful!!! I love Versace, every one I have is perfect, but this is my favourite now. I just LOVE the bottle and the gorgeous colours - the purples, pinks and light gold. It's a beautiful box too: it's all so elegant; the perfume and the packaging.

I find it very woody, which I love, but all the other notes are there too, just a touch of gentle sweetness, and floral, and musk - absolutely dreamy!

It lasts for ages, lovely and strong - it's so uplifting and feminine.

Thank you Versace (Donatella) for making so many delicious perfumes for me!!!

BeauteousWonder!

Gorgeous perfume! Woody floral. Versace Woman is the epitomé of a woman's perfume - totally unique and sensual. Extremely beautiful woods on me, with the gentle flowers and fruits, musk and amber oozing their delightful ways through the wood. The woods are sublime. I never know I would love a perfume with so much wood in it - but this is heavenly!

I feel like a wood nymph, in the forest, with all the fabulous smells that a beautiful forest has, in my gorgeous long flowery dress, flitting here and there through the wonderland that is nature. I feel very womanly, a true lovely woman.

The bottle is absolutely gorgeous, and so easy to use! With either hand! The design and colours of the bottle and the box - so elegant and ethereal, and yet down to earth and here. Beautiful colouring!

It last so well on me, at least 12 hours, and the sillage is a lovely arm's length, which is just right. My husband loves it too, and I get lots of compliments, when anyone is near me.

A unique masterpiece, in my opinion. GORGEOUS!!

blue angelic

What a beautiful woody/floral/fruity/green/musky/amber perfume!! I love it completely! It is mainly wood for me, and it's fantastic. I love it so much. I can't believe it's so good. It's very unique I feel, like nothing I've ever had before. The woods (I do think there must be Inoki wood in it, as the article here introducing Versace Woman states), Lebanese blue cedar and Inoki wood sounds exactly right - and also frangipani leaves (also as stated in the same article), because for me it has a VERY woody and also a green leaves smell, predominantly.

It is definitely has the right name! Woman. It is very much the true, deep, essence of a woman, to my mind. Elegant, gentle yet strong, sophisticated, feminine, fresh, a free-spirit, a pure spirit, loving - truly female. A woman who knows herself, and loves herself and life, with a pure heart.

From the very first spray, I smell beautiful, glorious, fresh, green wood, which stays forever, whilst all the other notes come and go, wafting in and out all the time. Rose, lovely wild and sweet, definitely a raspberry rose; bergamot (I love bergamot!), lotus very much throughout, and jasmine, gently touching here and there. And a lovely juicy but not too sweet plum comes along soon after, adding a full-flavoured feel to everything. About an hour or so into this wonderful experience gently comes the beautiful musk and warming amber to meld everything beautifully together, and keep it that way until the next day!! Amazing!!

The sillage is quite close to the body, but just detectable an arms-length away. And the longevity is beyond my wildest dreams!

So, for me (and I agree totally with KWGomez and oktober), Versace Woman is a GORGEOUS masterpiece of a woody floral perfume, with gentle overtones of fruit and amber/musk. And very much a woman's perfume. 100/10!

Edit: Oops! I forgot to say how much I love the bottle!! It's the absolutely beautiful expression of the perfume!! Divine!

KWGomez

Love love it! This is what a woody floral should smell like.

mamehaviolette

Today I have tried this scent , because I saw the bottle and I thought immediately that it was gorgeous, so, having forgotten to spray some of my perfume before going out (oh, how silly of me) I have decided to try it directly on my skin.

It is a very nice, femmine scent. It is very simple to wear and office safe as well. It lasts a lot, too. It is a very elegant mix of raspberry, rose and musk. I like it!

kaejuntun

I fished this out of my perfume storage area today while trying to downsize my collection. It was in my "to keep" area, so I sprayed it on my wrist to see if it should remain there. I don't know how I missed this before, but Versace Woman reminds me of a slightly more complex and grown up version of one of my favorite discontinued VS scents, Berry Kiss. They share raspberry and rose notes, so it makes sense that they would resemble one another. Since rose has really grown on me as a fragrance note I am even more drawn to Versace Woman - the rose is subdued and there's a jammy quality to it, enhanced by the raspberry. I don't get much musk, though I do get some woodsiness in the dry down. I also get maybe just a hint of plum, but not much. VW stays mainly raspberry and rose throughout which I love. It's understated enough for daily wear, but would also be sophisticated enough for dates or special events. It's not what I would consider a night fragrance, but that's fine since I have my go-to scents for nights out. It's also wearable in any season. I will definitely be keeping Woman - she may even graduate to my regular rotation.

Edit to add:
Holy lasting power batman! The last time I wore this perfume it was winter and I thought Woman lasted a decent amount of time, but nothing to write home about. Today I woke up and I could still smell Woman on my skin. 12+ hours. Huge thumbs up!

Fragrance Review For Versace Woman

Top Notes: Bergamot Rose Jasmine

Middle Notes: Raspberry Plum Cedar Wood Lotus

Base Notes Amber Musk

First of all I don't like it when they give a gender specific name to a fragrance: HOMME, HOMME NOIR, FEMME, POUR FEMME, WOMANITY, lol So the name turns me off. But I won't let trivial things get in the way of my enjoying a fragrance. Versaces I own: Versace Blonde, Versace Blue Jeans, are among my favorites. Woman is actually not a fitting name for this perfume. This does not smell of a woman, that is a mature complex woman, but a young girl ages 17 to 21. She is either ending high school and discovering perfume or has newly discovered perfume and wears fruity floral and candied floral scents, including fragrance mists. I don't know why they'd call this Woman when it wears more like GIRL, but again let's not debate any of this. It's just a perfume, right?

The raspberry jumped out at me and it reminded me of the scent coming out of girl's hairs after gym class when they would spritz some body mists on after the shower in junior high. The rose and raspberry scent smell like candy, although I would maintain that this is still a sweet floral. It's just not a green or herbal floral, more of a candy-floral. The plum note is sweet and fruity and gets bigger as the fragrance develops. The jasmine leaf is actually a soft jasmine which in turn smells more girly than womanly.

There is meant to be a wood note in this fragrance but for the life of me, I don't get any wood. Once the fruit scents of plummy juiciness and delicious raspberry candy dissipates, and the rose is also disappearing, you get a lotus which matches up with rose, and it, too, fades. The dry down is a pure amber. The amber is warm, not resinous, but warm and with the additional touch of musk, it's like a vain attempt to smell a tad more mature or womanly. Many perfumistas would tell you that musk is a mature woman scent as opposed to raspberry which is considered more youthful. In the end there is no balance or enough contrast between youth/maturity. All I get is a sweet girly girl fruity rose.

That being said I do enjoy raspberry scents from time to time. I also love my roses in perfumes no matter what form they come in: herbal green rose, tea rose, Bulgarian rose, aromatic rose, cold rose, candy rose, gourmand-rose, sugary rose. This is all about the rose. It's like a pretty raspberry in the shape of a rose. I would recommend this to any female of any age group who loves rose fragrances and raspberry. This is sweet and very summery, easy to wear and pull off, a fragrance for parties and informal get togethers. Longevity is an issue for me. It doesn't last as long as it would like it to. It would have been interesting if they had prolonged this rose's life with more woodsy notes and patchouli in addition to the amber, but no. Not bad though.

Southern Blonde

Versace Woman is a lovely fruity floral perfume. I love the design of the bottle. This has a lot of things I like about women's perfumes: rose, fruit, woods, amber. This is a really simple scent and so easy to wear. At the first spritz of Woman I smelled a sweet raspberry and plum combination. Sweet fruitiness. Flirty. Girly. But the direction it takes is a tad more mature. It becomes a floral fragrance with a very pronounced red rose scent along with some white jasmine. The woods and musk in the base give it a depth and maturity. It's elegant, it's sophisticated and took me by surprise thinking it would be too airy or too fruity. Everything is in balance. It's a well behaved perfume. It's not too in your face and doesn't come on too strong. It's not detectable to others unless they're up close. I will be wearing this to my next performance on a cruise ship. This is sexy, sweet, soft, and just right for me.

anastasiajohanssen

Woman is not your typical floral-musk. I'm not sure if it's the raspberry, but there's something about it that I'm always drawn to. Fairly unique in my opinion, and the bottle is beyond beautiful.

ChelleBelle84

If you ever smelled Daisy Eau So Fresh how it's like a day that progresses from the green smell of morning dew on the grass, then comes the sweet smell of raspberries and meadows with flowers as the sun warms the Earth, apple and plum trees in the heat of the afternoon, and closes out with wood and musk with those other scents lingering? This continues that smell into the night with the strong smell of an evening near the woods.

This is very strong and very woody on me, but some sweetness lingers from the raspberries, plums and flowers. A little goes a very long way, but as a suggestion, you could easily switch from daytime Daisy Eau So Fresh to evening Versace Woman in spring or summer and could also be a winter day substitute if Daisy Eau So Fresh is too light for you when it's cold.

SuzanneS

This is the best fragrance culmination that summed up 90s fruity frags. Plummy and woody that veers off into a different direction into floral woody musk. (not much a floral, theyre just a supporting role)

It comes close to an Oriental but doesnt quite make it because of the woods and fruits bit no spice. If you want something unique, check this one out.Nagel flashes her brilliance here. Its sexy, femimine, frag that men compliment on it. Unique for the genre and big on silage! She is WOMAN . Cousin to Feminite du Bois and Dolce Vita.

Never get this as a blind pick! There might be people who like this...but i almost hated it. It says nothing, does nothing. Why? The perfume failed to do the only thing it had to do: SMELL. It isn't there.

beedi84

I hated this perfume. I can barely tell what it smells like. It's just a mess.
It's very woody.

aspirina

It is not in the notes, but I smell vetiver in this fragrance. A bit of raspberry and plum, but to me the cedar, rose and vetiver take the spotlight very soon, and stays that way until the end. I can see a man wearing this scent, very fresh and somehow seductive unisex scent.

nvenus

There are some similarities between Woman and Yellow diamond but Woman seems to be more feminine and floral when Yellow Diamond is more fresh and citrusy.

To me, the cedar isn't appealing but I can see (scent) how it fits its concept.

I don't know what it is that makes this a typical Versace scent but I think it's the woody/cedar + bergamot combination.
... With the strong rose and the raspberry note, this perfume could be a relative/sibling to Yellow Diamond and also Eau Fraiche, because of the "common denominator": cedar and bergamot.

It's more floral than sweet. Not too intensive, you can spray it more than 1-2 times without getting, or giving someone, a headache. It's unique; I haven't smelled anything that smells 90% like this, yet - in my opinion - it isn't something that's outstanding.

To sum it up: a more feminine, floral and lightly sweet (or sweeter) version of Yellow Diamond. Not bad but not their best.

I saw VW advertised at £15.99 for 50ml, so I was interested enough to go and sample it in Boots. I had read here many different reviews, poor longevity, not the best smelling perfume etc, so I didnt hold out much hope for it, but I came away from Boots with an open mind. I really loved the top notes as soon as I sprayed it on my wrist, but I am not so silly as to judge a perfume by its top notes alone, so I didnt buy it then and there. After about an hour the middle notes came through and I still loved it, and in total this perfume lasted me a little over 7 hours in total. So the longevity was definatley better than I had hoped for, and although the fragrance didnt change an awful lot throughout its life, I really loved all stages of it. The next day I shot back to boots to buy a 50ml bottle, and I dont regret it, it really is a feminine classy smelling perfume. I think at £15.99 I may even just go an buy a back up bottle, it really is that beautiful.

Lily Smiles

This is a perfume that I really wanted to like but I think the cedar in it comes on too strong and spoils it for me. It starts a bit sharp but the powdery notes
mellow it out. It's sweet and a little bit cloying and it's a perfume that you either love it or hate it.i will continue to wear it as I have a big bottle to use up
but I do not feel the wow factor while wearing it. I will not give up because I may end up loving it. It's floral woody fruity but not sure if it all works together.

catperson

I love this perfume. It is a sillage bomb on me. Moreover, after all of the smell disappears, a jasmine smell stays on my skin until I take a bath. It also sticks on clothes for days. Since it has a powerful sillage, spraying 1-2 times is enough :)

sophie.louise

I love this perfume. It reminds me of being 14, when I was first given a bottle from my Mum. My boyfriend describes it as my "signature scent" It's very feminine but also classy.

Fragrance Lover 30

Wow! This is a super sexy raspberry-musky-powdery perfume that really is mesmerizing. The musk and gentle amber keep this one from floating into the 'fruity floral' abyss while keeping it sensual feeling. The raspberry adds levity and interest, and the combination of the short, but smartly selected note list offer a final product that is just the right amount of sweet, and a fragrance that is a treat for your senses.

Seriously gorgeous. Definitely recommend.

RedIndianGirl

This fragrance is definitely for women and not girls. I would never have worn it in my 20s-30s; it was only in my 40s that I began to appreciate the heady bouquet of jasmine and rose, with the raspberry notes designed to lighten the heaviness. It's a perfume for intrigue with your lover and anonymous hotel rooms.

sasana

On my skin this is very sweet, lots of plum, musk and amber. I hardly smell anything else than that. It's a rather heavy scent on my skin. I would only wear it in the evening or during the wintertime. I'm not sure yet if I like it or not as it is quite elegant but also stings in my nose somehow.

Briarthorn

This opens with a powdery, sweet berry accompanied by a bergamot bite that quickly fades. Under the berry there is a hint of lotus. This opening surprises me. I was expecting something much different when I looked at the bottle. The opening settles on the skin rather quickly and within fifteen minutes the opening has faded, and we are fully in the heart.

The heart is the star of this scent. There is a rich, dark wood that comes out and adds a deep mysterious element to the sweet berries. The berries are now touched by a rose and there is less powder than in the opening. The lotus isn't noticeable now. The wood here is worth noting. I think it's the main thing that makes this scent stand out. The wood is very cedar-like but it has a slightly citrusy quality to it while at the same time it's dark and even a tad broody. It balances out the bright sweetness of the rosy berries nicely

The dry down hits after about two hours. It's a soft amber touched musk. Very basic, nothing out of the box, nothing really worth noting. The scent is completely gone after about 4-5 hours.

Overall this scent is short lived, but nice to experience while it's here. The wood used in this composition is really the most interesting part of this scent, and is the one thing that saves this scent from being completely forgotten about in the halls of "eh, boring". I believe that the horrid bottle is quite deceptive and not at all a reflection of the scent inside.

Cynicalwish

Muskier than I expected just reading the notes. I think it's the combo musk plus lotus that ruins it for me, giving it a soapy, powdery vibe. It does smell soft and clean though, it would probably be very nice with the right skin chemistry.

madame.d

in-su-ppor-table, c'est probablement dû aux framboises.

The rasberry are very strong so i realy NOT like it.

cande.elias

Buy this on a trip to miami . I love everything that has to do with versace , makes me think of the 90 Some of extravagance , baroque and this last height of fashion. I 'm on my second bottle. I leave it only for special occasions, but I own a large collection always come back to this beautiful . Impressive longevity and sillage too.

steffie_s

A friend and I were testing perfumes one lunchtime and this was one I tried. I thought it was way too strong when I tried it in the store, and after several hours it didn't grow on me at all. I even tried washing it off my wrist and not a hope without paring off skin.

A couple of years later the same friend bought it for me as a gift. I didn't have the heart to tell her I don't like it and it still languishes in my bathroom vanity 4 years later. I did try it again but still don't like it. It is really sour on me and this perfume seems to sink in to every pore of my skin.

blachedalmond

I don't like roses and anything to do with them, I despise that flower and it's sickly smell. I can't stand it's oil or water, any scented form.

That said… this fragrance was a gift from my mum. Before I even tear the package off I came here to read the comments and see the notes, one can imagine how horrified I was upon seeing the rose note and and it being classified as sweet. I even thought of giving it away unharmed. Since it was a gift from my beloved mum and I couldn't overcome the curiosity I decided to give it a try anyway (of course with very low expectations)

What I got in return was an opening of slight touch of jasmines blended with a different -likable- type of a little sour and non offending roses. The sourness might be due to the bergamot in the list but my nose couldn't identify it separately. but what kept lingering on during and after the first blast was mostly the raspberry accompanied shortly after by the lotus. No terrifying sweetness to mention, though it has a certain sweet ring to it. It had a mostly musky finish. This lasts on me pretty well, but then again, I'm lucky skin-wise (I rarely have problems with longevity of fragrances). Versace Woman also has a moderate sillage which tends to extend even more if I spray it slightly on my long long hair.

I'm happy mother gifted this to me and I'm glad I gave it a chance; because I would never dare try this type of stuff ever. This was a nice experience. I've used it as one of my everyday scents during early fall and I'm eager to see how it'll be during spring.

Tine1world

This is like raspberry sorbet to me. Needs reapplying a lot. Real Times 'Wonderful Woman' EDP is a dead ringer so is Parfums Elite, 'London Queen' EDT, a cool second in the imitation stakes.

Cheers T.

Togiii

It is a nice perfume, the sweetness is a plus however a little bit too much for my taste. It reminds me of VS Very Sexy.

Doll1986

I remember buying this scent when it first came out, I love it and get compliments on it too. currently I own 3 bottles of this. always Versace

Orjen

Ugh, such a disappointment but also a lesson learned. I was in an airport shop when I bought this. I had sniffed half the shop and by the time I came across this I had most likely lost my senses because I thought the tester smelled heavenly.

Unfortunately, it is nothing to write home about. Absolutely generic, poor sillage & longevity (thank goodness!). This is the scent of an unsuccessful hooker, quite frankly.

I just don't know why big powerhouse brands keep launching boring non-descript fragrances like this. They'll only come to retail at 20 Euros a pop and eventually they get discontinued so why go to all the trouble of putting it on the market?

afy

Smells like usual deodorant. Pass

Tine1world

'Real Time' fragrances made in Grasse. 'Wonderful Woman' is a dead ringer scent wise, and most likely is the same scent indeed I dare say! of this and behaves the same way. Poof. Yes Poof. Yes. Affiliated with 'Linn Young' from the Netherlands is a good alternative for this fragrance. I have both.

Love the raspberry fizz for an hour or so and my skin it's gone in about 2 hours. I paid alot for my bottle when I purchased it . $80.00 for a 100 mill flacon which I adore in all it's purpleness and fine round feminine style. Topped with a round jewel cap resembling a queenly knob.

Disappointed with it's lack of staying power.

'Wonderful Woman' EDP 100 mill flacon was $4.50 Australian dollars that is. Is exactly the same. I have seen idiots trying to palm this fragrance off to some suckers for over $40. dollaroozies plus. If you pay more than $5 Bucks you are being ripped off.

As for Versace, the lack of staying power discourages me from any further outlay's on it's fragrances. I have 'Red Jeans'. An EDT. Love the fragrances, again loathe the fact that it's another quickly evaporative product.

'Versace Woman' reminds me of 'Tarax raspberry Lemonade'. Not today's version. The 60's version.

Cheers T.

jdawg

Not for me. Smells like an ordinary deodorant. Doesn't last long on the skin as it wears off or evaporates quickly especially during the summer, although can get away with it in the winter. Not the best out there and not a bad one. Maybe an everyday perfume.

Radchick

The opening of this one is something I find rather strange. It is a very smoky rose, as if cigarette smoke and roses are blended together. I don’t like this phase, but luckily, it changes to something much more pleasant after a few minutes. I can smell the rose clearly, and the fruity sweetness of the raspberry, a combination I really like. The middle phase lingers like this for a few hours, then it dries to a very subtle musk. I thought this would be sweeter, but it is more of a floral. I’m glad I gave this a chance to develop.

lalondem

The opening notes are pretty, but then it dries down to a generic amber/musk on my skin that just smells common and cheap to me. I barely buy perfumes that have lots of musk and amber because it's just a heavy smell I don't like. So a no for me, though I do have a 3.4 bottle that I will have to find use for. House fragrance I guess!
Very pretty bottle though!

smileysunshine

I have to exercise restraint with this one as I have been guilty of spraying it around the house. It is quite beautiful and elegant!

CPelly82

I tried this tonight and was instantly turned off by the smell. The rose top scent really packs a punch which is something I don't care for. When I got home I started smelling this sweet woody scent and fell in love with it. After waiting 30 mins for it to die down it became very pleasant and elegant. I'm going back tomorrow to buy this.

viviana.eveline

Beautiful bottle en soft fragrance .. Love it !

ScarlettX

I find this one very plain and unimpressive. Sweet, fruity, there is strong rose scent, which smells like cheap rose soap. It's very soapy. I don't like raspberry in this one, it's nauseating. This composition doesn't work for me, smells synthetic and cheap.

Sweelty

This fragrance does not remind me of Promesse. I bought it as a blind buy because i was hoping to find replacement for the discontinued Promesse which i love. This one is more on woody side for me. And actually it smells like cigarettes on my skin (though i do not smoke). Not for me:(

lirael00

This screams I'm femme fatale! It's not too sweet at all even though you can smell raspberry but it's that musky raspberry, so it's perfect. It's sexy but not overpowering which is nice and practical cause you can wear this during the day time and also on the night out. Definetly perfume made for women.

CherryKissesxxx

I managed to buy this quite cheap so was happy to buy without trying.

I didn't particularly like the top notes, but soon enough quite enjoyed the woody, yet floraly fragrance. It smells classy and different to the average perfume. Not very sweet, but quite soft and lovely.

I still could smell it on me after about 5 hours. I'm not sure if others could smell it on me though, and I'm not sure that it was ever that strong, but I'll try again and see if I get any comments the next time!

I'll use the rest of the bottle, but it's probably not going to end up being my all time favorite. Having said that, I'm wondering if I'll wear it again, tomorrow...

lisatenholt

I bought this parfume blind. At first I wasn't too impressed with this. I'm a patchouli, heavy scented girl. This is, for me, exactly the opposite, it's very light and summery, absolutely a daytime scent. Now, nearly a half year later, I quite like this. Haven't worn it often, but I probably will. It's a romantic scent, for someone who is around here mid 20's or younger. Although I like it, for me it's not a turning heads-scent.

Ksantina

It's beautiful, feminine and sexy. I wear this for special occasion.

icecream_milkshake

Usually I'm not that fond of fragances with main notes of rose, but this one is pleasant and not too overwhelming. I mostly get rose, then other floral and woody cedar notes joins in a little bit. The rose is prominent throughout. I don't get any of the fruity notes. To me, this is a true floral scent. It's a nice scent, but nothing special.

PrettyFieldsOfFlowers

I love it.Makes me smell expensive and luxurious.I think this is the kind of perfume an independent woman would wear. She's charming and alluring, but strong at the same time and does not have any intentions to seduce anyone.

kimberlylizkennedy

When I first purchased this perfume I thought it was ok, it seemed to have a dominant wood note. I put it away in my perfume ottoman. Fast forward two years later, I was wanting to change up my fragrance, and brought it out and love it. I haven't appreciated wood notes until the past few years. As I have tried more wood or oud notes, such as Creed Oud, and Montale Oud scents and learned about them, and enjoy them more, I appreciate this fragrance more. Because this is a less expensive route to experience a woody fruity musky perfume. It is a nice entrance for someone that wants to expand the teen centered youth scents, and have a more refined grown up perfume that has a bit more depth, without the greater expense of Montale perfumes.

morphoeugenia

I bought this blind in a mini a while back. At first wear, I wasn't too impressed. Gave it a couple of weeks and wore it again - fell in love. So adore the scent, I find it unique and romantic. It's one that can easily see going day to night for me as it suits my personality. I am unsure about the sillage because I work in a very small office where I am not near enough to anyone else to get their opinion. However I may try it when out with friends to test the reactions :D Even if no one else liked it I would still wear it!!!

naomi.scott

This opens horribly on me, really sharp, bitter, lemon and wood scent but it's worth it for the dry down which lasts for hours and smells like raspberry tea in the woods. A nice day fragrance but a seriously UGLY bottle!

Robih

This is one of my Spring/Summer favourites. Versace Woman is light and bubbly but not insubstantial, as the musk and amber add depth and complexity to the pretty floral top notes. There is just enough of an edge provided by bergamot and cedar to make it enchanting, unlike many simpler scents. The bottle is a reflection of the contents - pretty, feminine, a cut above the ordinary!

Eicher

Versace-Woman is a powdery, musky fragrance with a touch of rose. I believe that the plum and raspberry make it sweeter and thus, lighter.
A feminine and elegant perfume that can be wore at any age.

lunadestella

I tested this out tonight at a local TJ MAXX and the first ten minutes were delightful. Very floral and powdery ... but then it took a very unexpected turn with my chemistry and I don't know why but all I get is an overpowering, loud and aggressive sandalwood. The silage on this is like a beast. I was kind of afraid everyone could smell me as I scouted out the store, and not in a good way either ... and this was only with one spray to the wrist. I wish it had worked for me. I do believe it could be nice on the right person, just sadly not for me.

4.5/10

lyciumchld

I am so very glad I tried this instead of making a blind buy. Versace Woman does not work with my chemistry at all. The first spray is overwhelmingly awful. Just awful. I know scents develop, so I didn't give up hope and waited for the dry-down. It took quite some time, and in the meantime the scent didn't improve much. On my skin, Woman is woody and sour, very masculine. Silage is good and it appears this scent lasts for some time as well. On the up-side, it smells expensive and fresh. Sadly, it is a definite NO for me. Pass.

xabaras

I get the freshness of the rose, and some very delicate musk. And something slightly acidic which is probably due to my skin not reacting well with florals. All in all it is a pleasant fragrance, but just average to me. It's in my collection but I never feel the urge to put it on.

Mrs. Tuberose

My first review! I thought this smelled so good out of the sample bottle and all the ingredients listed seem like they would work for me but there was one note that insisted on hogging the whole stage. I thought it would mellow after a while and about an hour on it did start to mellow and I could smell some flowers and was looking forward to that note disappearing. But now 6 hours later that note is spoiling the dry down. It almost wasn't a fragrance but more like an irritant that got caught in my lungs, that one note. I wonder if it was the cedar.

I'd give it a 4 because it probably works so well on a different skin chemistry.

amandajane

Versace Woman is a truly lovely perfume. I having been looking for the perfect rose sent, and found it. I owned YSL Parisienne and loved it, but wanted perfume that could highlight the beauty of roses without the plastic synthetic. This also reminds me of Lancome Tresor Midnight Rose, without the overload of Cedar. Versace Woman is perfectly balanced and sensual, truly the best rose sent ever.

perfumequeen23

I love this perfume! I have had it 2 times already and I will be purchasing another in next couple of weeks before summer starts. Its the perfect fragrance for summer it's fresh and light and smells gorgeous!! Worth the buy and this was a blind buy when I first got it.

hannie5

I am sad that this doesn't work with my chemistry. It just smells somewhat burnt or sour. But that bottle is beautiful. Cheers to those that can wear this.

Caryn000

For me its a sensual and creamy, at first it is fruity, i can smell rasberry. In dry out its sensual and femine, very soft. I like it a lot.

40plus&fab

I purchased this years ago when it first launched. I absolutely LOVED it on the test trip and on my sister. But on me, after the lovely fruity/floral top notes gave way all I was left with is something that smelled like weeds and roots. It must be the cedar.

Same thing happens with Lolita Lempicka and the Incanto series.

rosembloom

OOhhh.. Me likes this one verrry much! The fruit are mouthwatering in the opening yet not tart since it is so well balanced. The rose is definitely queen and floats above suave waves of amber and musk, sweetened by ripe raspberry. . Freshly sweet yet very tenacious, it is one of my new loves. The drydown becomes sophisticated, less bubbly and more opulent with a hint of spices. This V. Woman will accompany me through Fall this year xxxxx

ananya20

I get some fresh raspberry sorbet initially which then becomes a very slight floral and musky.
But all the way it is very incense like. The incense get stronger with time, which I love! And the drydown (pure smoky amber incense) lasts forever! (12 hrs+)
Definitely a winter time scent and also very dressy, in my humble opinion.

ojosverdes

I purchased this perfume recently and it's a very pretty scent. I've had a few Versace scents and have not been impressed by them. This is one is different. It's not only feminine cause of the rose notes and floral notes, but it manages to be complex too without being too heavy. The rose note is prominent throughout. I love the way the rose and the amber intermingle in the drydown making it a cozy, feminine and delicate scent. If you like amber scent you should give this one a try. It's quite sexy IMO. I usually don't spray perfumes on my skin or very little and when I spray this on my clothes or hair it lingers and last quite a while. Sometimes the clothes still smells of this scent a few days later. It's modern and different that other perfumes in my collection and deserve a special place. Lately I have been gravitating towards scents that are fizzy. Scents that are complex almost champagne-like but not heavy in the traditional way. Something like the new Chloe EDP for example. This perfume could work for many occasions and times of year, quite versatile. This is definitely going to get some use this fall and winter too.

tandi

Versace woman on me is dusty and sweet but definately not fresh. It is feminine and soft but not good enough to make me fall in love

PricklyAndHot

I would describe this fragrance mostly as a combination of the watery floral lotus note, the eglantine note and the bergamot note lightness with the yummy raspberry note on the sweet amber woody base of the cedar note and the Hinoki wood note.
Not bad, but not interesting enough to be excited, imho.

Akasha66

Used to be my fav winter fragrance ..but it was years ago .,good but is rather old smell now ,maybe someday will buy again but not soon ;)

iuli4

I would give this perfume a 6.5 / 10 score. It smeels preety but nothing special . ALso the smell feels to ligh and last little.
Would recomend it for gym or for walking the dogs.

ivanda

Wonderful perfume! So ligthful blast of raspberry and plum, and a little bit of rose. I feel so good when i wear it! It is ideal perfume for night in spring! It is not heavy, not strong, but with amazing lasting power. So feminine, so simple, but so classy too. I feel much more better and confident with this perfume on me. Definately recommend!

takeasniff

I tested this today and it smelled a little like the Versace Red Jeans when first sprayed but as it settled it reminded me of FCUK for her in the silver bottle. I already have that so I didn't bother with this one because to me they are very similar in style. This is nice and fresh and not childish. If you like FCUK then you may like this.

Mooniq

On paper this scent is ok - on my skin it turns into a dark mess, I tried it several times but no - just disgusting, sad to say. When I look at the perfume-pyramid it contains every note I love, but blended in this scent its just a big no-no.

bubububzy

bland and boring!! no lasting power at all. It is ok to use it to freshen up during day time though as a body spray. Apart from that nothing special about this perfume.

Edit- I wore this today (which was a beautiful sunny day in September) and liked it a lot more. May be its powdery soft touch changed me. :) I am happy that I rediscovered the beauty of it. Recommend to wear during summer or early autumn months.

apassionforscent

I bought it mainly for the bottle, stopped using it about 1/4 way through. I conclude that "pink scents" are not for me, I simply can't find the warmth and personality in pink scents. I also dropped YSL Baby Doll soon after I bought a whole bottle of it! I can't even remember the scent of this one, though...In comparison, I'd say Baby Doll is much better since I can at least remember what it smells like.

candys

this was very fresh on me, but not deep at all. also my head hurts when im wearing this. boring!

twillocks

LOVE THIS! just received my samples and just now ordered a LARGE bottle!!!!!

Soutty123

A pleasant scent for spring and summer, especially during the day. My husband loves this one.

Hyponse

his smells in some way artificial on my skin. Sour with a woody hint. Not good on my skin.

LydiaLiu

I take Versace Woman as sister fragrance of Bright Crystal. To me, they both have a sour-sweet-fruity opening, light-watery-floral middle and a ambery-musky base.

Though not at the list, I captured a noticeable black current note, which is a bit overwhelming compared to the thin floral part. The flowers are too shy, they're buried in the fruity burst and are deprived of vigor and vitality, I really wish the lotus could live longer to give this perfume a real aquatic touch. The base is nothing interesting at all, a sheer musky texture ever left.

A perfume not that easy to let me firmly say hate, but no surprise, no amaze at the same time. Sorry, I do not consider it as an outstanding work from nose Christine Nagel.

velvet67

Hi there new member saying hello.
When I first smelt Versace Woman fragrance from the tester card in the store, I experienced the wierdest smell of my life. My comment to the sales person was "what the hec is that smell,it smells wierd- not nice at all". I Laughed and walked away.A couple of months later,my neice was wearing this allmighty georgous perfume that seemed to linger so elegantly ,softly and reminded me of a smell from a trip I had taken to Hawaii years before.I had to ask her what perfume she had on and she explained to me that it was the one and only Vesace Woman! Well I couldn't beleive it!so I went back to the store to test it on my skin. From this spray I could smell the beautiful frangipani, jasmine, berries, and cedarwood that held it all together. The more time I wore it,the deeper the scent became.I now own a 50ml bottle of this mesmerizing scent. The more I wear it the more I love it,and I would say I'm truelly addicted to it especially in the Autumn and Winter months here in Australia.I would highly recommend this perfume to any person who is looking for a perfume that has an expensive aura, lightly sprinkled with tropical flowers, sunshine ,and settles with creamy, dreamy cedarwood. This perfume dosn't irritate the nose or stomach as some individuals react sensitivly to perfumes such as my self.I have now learnt to be patient with perfume and not to judge too quickly just from one spray on a card. It's definately about skin chemistry and Versace knows all about that!

Hamano_Chiaki

At first it smells a bit sour, but then it settles down into a pleasant woodsy scent on my skin. And it's kinda long lasting too. I like it.

mjb28

A friend recommended this perfume as a feminine day wear to me. Bought this without trying (no tester that time). And I agree! This smells really good and it is deliciously sweet but not overwhelming either. Subtle and not heady. It has a unique fragrance that blends nicely especially the oak moss and berries. This is charming, elegant, playful and cozy at the sametime. It feels sexy wearing it and it last quite a long way. I'm unexpectedly impressed. I enjoy wearing this and I love looking its pink bottle embedded with stones. Very interesting. It just looks glamorous and pretty.

kdt9788

When I get just a whiff of the perfume, it smells more fruity, light and pleasant. When I smell it close to my skin, it is more floral/powdery, strong. I haven't decided how I feel about this perfume. I only just applied it, so I'll update my review after a few hours.

Tigerlillian

After the initial fleeting sharp blast, the rose really shines through. I can't distinguish bergamot as it probably got vaporized somewhere there with the intro-bomb.

Then raspberry--synthetic? Hhhmmmaybe I guess, but likeable. Sweet and friendly. Lotus and cedar are only discernable in giving this fragrance a dry clarity; a little slice of plum gives it a hint of feminine fleshiness.

The drydown is an equal balance of light wood, gentle musk and soft fruit.

Wearable and charming. However, the name Versace Woman suggests something a little more voluptuous. This fragrance, although not childish, is innocent and should have been called Versace Girl or something equally pure.
