CHILDHOOD! It smells like childhood summer afternoons- siestas, in the 35C weather. Ahhh reminds me of my sister and me <3 Isn't that amazing- like a pure joy of not being aware of transience of life.
Just pure presence.
It is also very thick, so it can perform in cold weather too- to boost you during the grayness of winter.

eromenos

I get the juicy fruit comparisons but I’m surprised nobody mentioned jagerbomb like the cocktail. Spicy boozyness from the jager and the citrus fizzyness from redbull. This is a jagerbomb in perfume form.

autumnblue914

Joy in a bottle. Very juicy and happy fragrance, while still remaining complex in its structure.

Mighty lion

When I was a youngster I loved the taste and smell of Juicy fruit chewing gum..I wondered back then what if they made a fragrance that would smell like this?? Mission accomplished!! This is it & what I imagined, Juicy fruit chewing gum in a bottle with subtle spicy nuances to add some depth..Looking forward to the warmer weather to give this lovely scent a nostalgic spin!!

babyjill

This smells like Juicy Fruit gum in a catholic church.

Mr fragance27

Love at first sniff 🔥🔥 smell phenomenal very well blended I don't get any association with bubble gum nor Wrigley nor hubba bubba, this is balsamic and sweet, kinda leaning gourmand if u ask me, totally unisex, anyone can rock this, I am glad I pull the trigger on this one and blind bought it, it's a love for me.

MrBolton

Before I bought this one a few years ago, I was delighted about the reviews. Got a sample and loved it too. It wasn’t until I bought a 1 oz bottle that I realized this one I just liked in theory and in very small doses.
It honestly smells like a candle. I didn’t make that connection until I wore it work one day and had someone make the comment how the office smelled like a candle, and I just knew it was me.
My wife thinks it smells like a baked good… or a baked good type of candle. So, dually confirmed.
That’s all well and good if it wasn’t so cloying. And its performance is “beast mode” both in longevity projection on me, so it’s very overwhelming and nearly nauseating.
I like wearing it for about ten minutes, and then it’s just too much. At least Xerjoff’s bottles are beautiful.
If I had to trim some fat off my collection, this would be one of the first to go in the purge sadly.

Orz

Bitter Sweet jucy bubblegum just like the Quince fruit.

Spicy yet fresh, a bit boozy but fruity ABSOLUTELY A LOVE FOR ME. The best Quince fragrance ever. Quince it’s such a bing thing in eastern Europe where I am from so it’s in my DNA to LOVE THIS AND I DO SO MUCH😍
Definitely can see that the perfumer is Bulgarian.

Lasts 12 hours on me with GREAT projection and amazing skin scent after the 6hour mark.

One of the best Xerjoff fragrances by far.

I blind bought this over the Moschino Toy 2 Bubble Gum. No regrets, I friggin love this scent. It's like the most expensive Juicy Fruit gum. The initial scent is a softly spiced, fresh, fruity citrus scent. The drydown is delicious candied Quince & vanilla. The scent in the air is amazing. The first time I wore it, I went to the store and heard a family behind me talking about "someone smells soo good, what is that?" Definitely a keeper.
If you're worried about too much musk or cedar, don't be. I don't really like musks and sharp notes, but this is so smooth, you can hardly tell they're there. In fact, even the spices are tame. It's more sweet, amber-y, and fruity than anything.

feuermaiden

This is straight up just Hubba Bubba Bubble Tape. Like spot on exactly. Maybe throw a piece of Juicy Fruit in there.

I do think it’s lovely but smelling like a hunk of bubble gum just makes me feel like Patrick on the bus stop bench.

But if you want like, actual fragrance speak, it’s warm and spicy up close and the clove and cardamom give it a fuzzy, cozy feel. Farther away, its aura is fruity and sweet and fluffy. The combination of fruity/fluffy and warm/spicy makes this a fragrance I think could be great for any season.

Dolce Amalfi is my favourite fall fragrance to wear from my Xerjoff collection. It’s such an addictive, beautiful amber, resinous, warm spicy, fruity perfume having as star notes cloves and quince.

This and Pas ce Soir have opened my eyes to how beautiful this underrated fruit can make a fragrance smell. It’s the top tier fruit in my eyes!

Anyway, back to Dolce Amalfi. This is completely unique to anything else I have ever tried. To me smells like sweet, candied orange/apple/quince dessert with cloves and cardamom. The cloves here are unmistakable. It has a wonderful, fragrant almost pear like opening that stays out for the whole life of the fragrance and then it gets blended into vanilla, ambery notes, a bit of musk and cedar wood. The incense is used here mostly to add warmth to the blend, I don’t detect it specifically as a standalone note. But it’s masterfully blended with the base notes: vanilla, tonka beans, myrrh, cloves and tolu balsam.

It has a strong, warm, cozy feel to it, this could be an ideal candidate for holidays or winter festivities as well. I associate Dolce Amalfi mostly with fall because of the colour of the bottle, that warm, orange-brown shade makes me instantly think of the yellow leaves falling off the trees.

The only downside of Dolce Amalfi is the moderate longevity and projection. It lasts for 5-6 hours on me and projects for about an hour and a half.

Beautiful fragrance, deliciously complex, with heavy gourmands facets. Unique and fun in the same time. If you’re into quince, this one is a must have!

elleayjay

Don’t love it, Don’t hate it. Just doesn’t captivate me.

Twilly_2018

This is such a unique scent. A spicy bubblegum with citruses and tobacco in the opening! A very niche bubblegum gourmand, not childish at all. The scent changes a lot though based on skin chemistry, make sure you test it on yourself first. I am very happy they offer a 30ml option. I never use up the full size bottles.

limar

Smells like ice cream form balkans called “snjeguljica” beast this is my favourite fragrance on women i would like just to own it so i can smell it when ever i want is soo real and rich in layers soo complex and dry down is soo clean you can just feel the notes

11/10 for overall smell

ina.rem

I wanted to love this fragrance, gave it a fair shot in different weather, but it just wasn't meant to be. Instead of getting those nice, sweet scents, all I got was a strong whiff of something like a calendula balm – medicinal, herbal vibes. Some folks might catch the quince and sweet notes, but for me, it's a no-go. Time to wave goodbye to this bottle. It's the one in my collection that got the greatest amount of 'anti-compliments'.

dj71

I like this a lot. But, to me this smells similar to Pannetone by Milano Fragranze. Not exactly the same, but definitely similar to my nose. I enjoy both of them a lot. This one is a bit spicier than Pannetone.

aspirina

Imagine you boil lemon juice with some water, sugar, vanilla, cardamom, saffron. You take some beautiful lemons and boil them in this syrup, for a couple of hours. There is a cone of incense being burned in the house. When the lemons have been caramelized, you mix the syrup and the fruit with a big bowl of a dense high quality vanilla icecream.
If I could put that whole experience in a bottle of perfume I would be able to recreate Dolce Amalfi! love this scent big time. I need a big bottle.

Uglylucy7

Sprayed on either side of my clavicle while wearing a loose turtleneck sweater. I was at a niche perfumery testing five other frags. This one stood out. I’ve been collecting for a few years and I’m stuck in a narrow spot of finding something that’s different from what I already have. This one did. It has to complete against almost 50+ niche fragrances. My husband rarely mentions I smell good since I’m always wearing something. Coming home with this on he commented how good it was even though he was in the middle of something. Sold. Only wish it had the staying power of my other Xerjoffs. But it’s still pretty powerful.

Alex68

It's stunning, it's definitely different, i was still smelling it on me next day. It just gets better and better as the hours pass by. Instantly bought a full bottle after sampling.

Jennamarie81

I love this SO much!! There is NOTHING else out there like this. Super unique and addictive.

WeedyChick

It soooooooo good

justjas

I get the juicy fruit reference others have spoken about (in the background of the fragrance), however with a big dose of cardamom and clove/spices, which was very punchy on initial spray, however lessens in intensity in the dry down. In my opinion, it’s blended really nicely, it’s kind of fresh and spicy/warm at the same time. I could see myself wearing this at any time of the day… except maybe if it’s really hot (which it does get in Australia 😂)
I’ll keep testing my sample to see if it’s FB worthy for me.

Rjhuggi

I bought this in a .25 oz travel spray two months ago and turned around and bought the 100 ml. bottle ($130.00 right now on ediscountperfumes.com). I haven't stopped wearing it. It's so beautiful! Feminine leaning but I can easily see a man wearing this. It's a complete knockout! To me it's totally a winter fragrance.

MuchachaJ

As someone grown up in USSR it was hard for me at the beginning to abstract from the fact that combination of quince with cloves creates a note, identical to propolis based medicine I had to take as a kid.
But note of quince is so beautiful here, apple, spices and vanilla create together such an unusual juicy combo with the twist.
Cannot imagine it on a man, or I don’t know men whose personality it could match.
Perfect for nearly any occasion, outfit or time of the year, I am addicted.

Kendralenses

Such a fun and interesting fragrance. Absolutely unique in my large collection. A juicy fruity, yet spicy and powdery concoction! I can see this being worn during all seasons and having the different aspects of the scent come forward/ shift with the weather. I find this very feminine, but I suppose a man could also wear it. I am not getting a lot of the woody notes so far- just sprayed 10 minutes ago so this is very much a first impression. So happy I blind bought this after diligently researching it. Another masterpiece by Xerjoff!
Hours later and it definitely reminds me of Chopard Casmir in the dry down. The opening is quite unique tho with the quince note coming through strong. The opening is Definitely not the same as Casmir, but the dry down they become very similar. I adore Casmir so this isn’t a problem.

dzingunyte

Woody, spicy, cinnamony cardamony scent.
I enjoy it. Typical Xerjoff style perfume. Totally unisex in my opinion. Better suitable for colder months.

~newgirlsmell~

this sorta gives me city pop?

spending a summer afternoon in a convenience store just to bask in the AC... seeking respite through a pepsi and a stick of juicy fruit

I wore this while rollerblading around in a Miku cosplay and that felt fitting

ChrisGranville

It smells like Aperol :). I like this scent, brings summer vibes of drinking Aperol spritz in the sun.

simian

Juicy Fruit gum it is! Brings back waves of childhood nostalgia. Like most Xerjoffs, projection and longevity are quite strong. The clove and incense can be overwhelming so you may not want to spray on your chest or neck but rather your forearms wrists. It may be a bit unbalanced with the spices when smelt closely but it is pure pleasure in the air.

ScentedPlaza

Warm and inviting, it keeps you in a balsamic spice bubble! It's spicy!!! Bubble gum + refreshing quince / cydonia + cinnamon, nutmeg + a touch of balsamic & resinous tolu balsam. Works well all year round.. sun rays in a bottle.. Brings back memories of the magnificent Amalfi Coast!

Napoleon hard candy. Exactly that. Second and third impression.

- Upon first sniff my mouth watered, this is so so so familiar. There is something everyone has smelled that is identical to this scent, I just can't rememebr exactly what. I 100% smell coca cola haribo gummy and those chupachups apple lollipops, depending which one you're thinking about while smelling it this is what this smells like. It's such a delight, it is not what I was expecting, but it's such a bright, sweet, happy scent, like you're 6 and you just got given a bag of apple chupachups/coca cola gummies - definitely a gourmand, just a different kind. To me this dries down to a chocolate fresh, juicy almost sour apple scent, like the opening is muted down and a sweet cacao creeps up

In the past recent months I notice extreme heat waves that hit almost everywhere and the temperature is at all time high here in my country. Although we can't fix the weather instantly at least we can find a relieving medium that will keep us stay optimistic. One of the main reason I always wear perfume is for it's ability to 'manipulate' our brain in positive ways with smells.

Dolce Amalfi from Xerjoff is one magical fragrance executed extremely well to gives the wearer a sensation of having a delightful refreshing dessert. Imagine sipping a scoop of bubblegum flavored ice cream in the middle of hot summer day. Somehow it tricks my brain as if the heat temperature instantly melt away.

It gives the feeling of refreshed, happy, fun and cheerful state of mind.

Once again I learn not to always read the notes composition of a perfume but it's best to experience one. If we take a look, 99% of the notes listed here are warming aromas that supposedly more suited for winters.

I find this fragrance suited for all ages from children to adults because of the universal nature it provides (who doesn't love ice cream, right? 😋). So I really hope Everyone can also enjoy this family friendly scent too in hot days.

Thank you for all the continuous support and wishing Everyone a fun-tastic weekend 🌈

On my skin Dolce Amalfi smells like chinotto, an Italian carbonated drink. It surprises me that Citrus myrtifolia or myrtle-leaved orange isn't listed in the notes. I think if you've never smelled chinotto, you can compare it to Dr. Pepper or cola with bubblegum, but with a luxurious twist. It a sticky sweet herbal scent.

Longevity 8+ hours on skin and 48+ hours on clothes. It's a bit loud, but if you aren't shy, go for it, because it smells lovely. It's a very happy scent.

Definitely.Zella

Such a lovely, distinctive perfume! It's hard for me to put my finger on any one particular note; to my nose, it's a beautiful blend of smooth/sweet/spiciness that lingers for hours. I don't really get the "spicy bubblegum" scent that others have mentioned, but I guess that's one of the reasons perfume is so fun - the experience is different for everyone.
Update: I got a second sample of this and now I just get Dr. Pepper. IDK what happened.

Kjkoni

Love at first sniff! Put simply, I agree with previous reviews that describe it as a spicy bubblegum scent - doesn’t necessarily sound like something that I would immediately love as a perfume, but it is so fun and bright, perfect for anytime of the year, in which I would like to be wrapped in this light hearted fragrance.

Littlebeans3

Agree with the juicy fruit bubblegum scent comparisons, although Less sugared and more nuanced. While I really find this scent unique and fun and I like it a lot I can’t say I would want to smell like this. I like the scent but wouldn’t want to wear it on me just like I love the smell of an apple pie but wouldn’t want to smell like that. If u are a gourmand lover u may like this

Rose perfume Lover

It’s true! It smells like Juicy Fruit. It’s spicy in a good way! Nice! Now I finally know what it smells like.

Diegoluzzi25

Smells identical to RedBull or Monster energy drink. I love that tradicional energy drink smell.

Bordo

So unique and delicious. To me it is rich resinous and fruity scent. Reminds of natural beeswax and I love it. It is warm, a bit spicy. Despite being not a freshie, it wears great in warm weather too. Truly unique, immersice fragrance fit for many occasions. I would have liked the bubblegum, but for me this does smell like it, although I can get where this comparison is coming from. I mostly get tolu balsam and quince, also vanilla. But overall it is a great and complex blend with good performance.

Tembacat

The quince is such a unique note, I have not smelled a perfume like this. Spicy and fruity. Something about it smells nostalgic but I'm not sure what it is. Looking through other reviews I see several mentioning juicy fruit gum and I think that's exactly what it is, a scent from my childhood. The incense makes it smell more grown up and not sickly sweet despite the prominent fruits. I don't think I would wear this with any kind of regularity but it is a very interesting scent, worth trying.

florytail

this is the first perfume I really enjoy. I love it, it reminds me of that one special propolis smell from my childhood. I was wondering if there is such smell somewhere and luckily, finally I found it (accidentally). I wish it stayed longer, for example like xerjoff erba pura which has extremely strong smell and stays in your hair and clothes for days or even more

SPECIALBLEND83

I really like it. I get peppery sweet eggnog. Good longevity, subtle projection. Uplifting and warm. 8.8/10.

Clairexoxo

There’s two key parts to this fragrance. One is the fruity dimension and the other is the spicy one. This combination alone makes Dolce Amalfi fairly unique.

The fruits, especially the Quince, are gorgeous! They are inviting without being sticky sweet or juvenile. One of the most pleasant fruity accord I have smelled in a fragrance. It’s not realistic fresh fruits but more warm gum fruitiness. Very likable.

On the other hand, the spices especially the cloves, are front and center too. They are very prominent and fragrant. That’s the part that I believe will turn some people off. I like the fragrance, but I wished the spices were greatly dialed down.

My brother smelled it and said “it smells like something fruity. It’s cool.” But then his nostrils got hit with the spices and he took a few steps back and called it “an attack” haha.

I get average performance (6 hours of longevity on my skin).

Fenissa

Brings me all the way back to Juicy Fruit chewing gum in the 80s/90s. If you know, you know!
Makes me smile every time I smell it. It's a happy and carefree fragrance.
It's not something I'd wear to go out but it is something I love to wear for fun.
Harks back to a time before I had kids and a mortgage. Zero responsibilities. Work 9-5 on weekdays and go out dancing at the weekends. Good times encapsulated in a very pretty bottle.
Longevity and silage are both strong. More of a casual daytime fragrance suitable for any season.
Unisex, leaning more feminine.

jojococo777

Very very spicy in the opening you can't even smell any of the other notes, then the quince shows up and it becomes sweet. Like juicy fruit gum. Unique and interesting but would never spend money on this.

flem

Sweet, sharp cedar/woody spicy, and incense is what I pick up in the opening. Dark and warm. Ambery and musky. A little bit too peppery and dry for my tastes.

MissJetsetter

Based on the name alone I had to have it, I was sadly disappointed. After spraying myself down with my decant of it I came to regret not trying it out on my wrist first. The initial scent of cloves ruined it for me and I felt like scrubbing it off, but didn’t have time. For over an hour I was repulsed by the overwhelming clove scent. By hour two it was gone and the fragrance became this juicy summery scent. I absolutely love the scent after the cloves dies down. If it weren’t for the heaviness of the cloves I’d run to purchase a full bottle.

JenJardin6

I lovingly refer to this one as spicy Juicy Fruit because that’s really what it is. It’s kind of nostalgic for me because I loved juicy fruit gum as a kid.

This is a gourmand through and through, but really a fruity powerhouse. It is strong, cloying, and fun. It’s not something think I would normally go for, but I initially got it as a sample of the whole Casamorati line, and liked it so much I bought a bottle of it.

It’s definitely not something that everyone will like, but if you like juicy fruit gum, sweet fruit bites with a bit of spice, give this a try.

theperfumequeentiktok

Am I the only one that gets straight up bubble gum at first BUT in the best possible way. Not what I expected whatsoever & I'm really not mad at it. I am absolutely in love with it. It also has great longevity so I’m balls deep in for this one. Severely underrated IMO 🩷

dhcoalition

Cloves ruin it for me but I don't really care for cloves either. As others have said this is like juicy fruit gum. A fresh stick and that initial burst of flavors that hit your palate before dying second later. Except here that ride lasts for hours.

jbsherry

I fell in love with this after a sample and quickly ordered a FB.

This is practically everything I love in a fragrance; it’s juicy and citrus forward while having a vanillic/incense base. Interestingly, the incense doesn’t pull smokey in Dolce Amalfi, but it serves to ground the fragrance and give it weight and complexity. To me, it truly smells like a luxurious perfumed interpretation of juicy fruit gum. This is a fragrance that is indulgent, yet as another reviewer stated, doesn’t take itself too seriously. It lasts quite a long time and silage is rather moderate. I haven’t stopped wearing it since I bought it, an absolute love for me. Feels more suited to warmer weather, but is still appropriate for year round wear imo.

Edit:
I feel this is more of a spring/summer scent, it evokes sunshine and warmth to me.

Osarolen

Having just written a review for a beautiful Lancome flanker, it's time to get serious with a love of mine, Dolce Amalfi.

I received a full bottle for my birthday, and this is heaven. This perfume is high quality, it morphs with my skin and one spray lasts till the next day. Usually when you wear a perfume, you leave a trail of the perfume you put on. This one is different, it's an aura you have around you, it almost seems it's an aura that emanates from you.

I was told once that when you discover niche, nothing is the same anymore. Well.... I still love and will wear many well known fragrances and I'm not a snob in matters of perfume. I tested some niche houses that are nothing special, but Xerjoff/Casamorati are really worth it.

cats_eye

Love it! It's totally unique. Nothing else smells like this. I'd class it an amber/oriental with fruit, incense and spice notes. A sunlit amber. Even though it's not listed I smell herbs and banana. Sounds weird but it works and keeps this from getting too sweet. It does have a Juicy Fruit smell, definitely. I can't deny that. It's more than that though. I love the woods and incense in the drydown. Not many people have mentioned the frankincense note, but it's here in all its glory. - incense - woods - vanilla. Dolce Amalfi is very versatile. You can wear it any season, any time of day. It's pretty potent and lasts longer than you'll be able to smell it on yourself.

deenzo

I tried it at the store with 4 sprays yesterday and felt OK with it. I thought it was a very candy-like scent, had trouble smelling anything else than the warm spicyness actually. Felt the smokyness. Felt it was a combination of light and deep, a bit hard to explain it. Not really sure if I like it enough to get a full bottle tbh.

The quality however is superb. Smell was there even after showering. Agree on it having quite low project. As said from @sniffathon down below, I enjoyed wearing this pretty much as it's a quality scent. However for me, it's not full bottle worthy unfortunately.

Sniffathon

Wow it really is like juicy fruit! From first spray it captures you with the delicious bubblegum scent which I didn’t actually think I’d like. From the get go this is quite a low projecting scent, and I sprayed it about 10 times. About an hour later I began to get wafts of smokey incense, realising it was coming from me. This scent had transformed into a complex smelling heart but still with hints of the tutti fruity opening. I was actually surprised a little by the development, thinking it will stay pretty linear.

So far, from the Casamorati range, I have tried Dama Bianca, Gran Ballo, Lira and Dolce Amalfi. GB and Lira were disappointingly juvenile, Dama Bianca full bottle worthy, and DA enjoyable.
Enjoyed wearing this and is a strong like, but not enough to be full bottle worthy.

Shadeau

It's definitely a grower! I've never smelled anything like it, it's really unique to me. When I first sprayed it, it reminded me a tiny bit of a subdued version of Friar's Balsam but as it warmed and deepened, it seemed creamy and gently spiced. Hard to pick up the top notes individually as Xerjoff's fragrances are seamlessly blended but the cloves, cardamom and base notes are detectable. A few hours in, it's really enjoyable.
Would I be crazy to think it would layer with Ylang in Gold or even Sunshine Woman? Suggestions for layering?

passthemustard

Juicy fruit if it was reimagined as a luxury treat for grown ups. This is so lovely on both me and my husband. It is a light hearted scent and fun but not frivolous. Perfect if you want to smell amazing but don’t take yourself too seriously.

Osarolen

This is Love.
I received some Xerjoff's samples and I'm quietly discovering them. Even if I'm not loving all of them, the quality is undeniable. Top quality.
I sampled Lira first, absolutely fantastic, but for me it lacks that something special, the je ne sais quoi that makes you fall in love.
Then I tried Dolce Amalfi. The first time there were cloves. Cloves. Cloves. It was all I could smell. Too much.
I gave it another try a couple of days later, and it was love. Cloves, yes, and then spices, quince, incense, vanilla.... all mixed perfectly, a perfume with that wow factor I was looking for. Something special.
This is definitely fbw for me. Unfortunately pricey, but you need just two sprays and it will last all day, so a 100 ml bottle will last forever. Birthday is coming.... :))

Raul Claudiu

Never have I smelled something so medicinal.. it smells exactly like a syrup I was taking when I was a kid, dont remember if it was an antibiotic or just a cough syrup but it s almost identical it s crazy. I tested it in a store so it s not a counterfeit.

MannyOyson

[MAY 2023] This is more than just the first impression of juicy fruit bubblegum, it has a lemony-bite of tart green apple and the sweetness of its juice heated into a billowing rare non-smoky incense ala Shoyeido's Karin-Togetsu sticks and a smooooth juicy peru balsam. Mixed with Nishane's Afrika Olifant at first spritz inside collar then two spritz of Dolce Amalfi at the right and left side of my neck had a few people today stop and turn their heads at where the scent was coming from. Genuinely intoxicating tart-sweet balsamic incense which could also recall the smell of the insides of an apple crumble, or golden caramellised apple but if such treats were turned into temple incense or Asian medicinal balms. I recommend guys to try Dolce Amalfi should Lira come off as too "bright"/"sharp" and vanilla-candy to their noses and if you found, like me, Xerjoff Naxos too medicinal and strong. Dolce Amalfi is a very well blended, natural smelling thing and is worth the $149AUD for a 30ml. My new signature scent. Love.

Christer0619

I love This one, when ppl say it smells like juicy fruit it does and I have to talk a bit about the longevity. The first time I sprayed this was to try on in a store, the woman helping me only sorayed one time on my wrist and I’m not joking when I tell u I could smell this on my arm for 3 days!! And the best thing was it could probably last longer but I showered. The projection the first day was also crazy, idk if the one I tried was in steroids but I hope my bottle is the same

Commonscents99

Absolutely beautiful and complex scent! It smells like spicy fruit gum. It is a juicy fruity scent but also warm/spicy from the cardamom and sweet from the amber/vanilla. It smells like summer but not in an on the nose sunscreen smell but like when your skin gets a sweet peppery musk from laying out. I’ve never vacationed on the coast of Italy but imagine this is what it would smell like.

honeymoons

Peppery, cardamom, dries into something a little sweeter. Sort of sticky and dry at the same time, a little boozy. I get that bubblegum in the beginning but then it becomes something different entirely. It's interesting, almost herby to me, very spiced, edible but not like a pastry. I don't think I'd wear it again.

mirisfrik

This is smell of rum-punch drink. Nothing more, nothing less. Pretty longlasting, but who would like to smell like alcohol cocktail for days?

PerfumeForLainy

Lots of lovely ingredients in the pyramid, yet my brain has combined them all into one! And that is all I can smell here now: Delightfully juicy sea buchthorn berries. If you have ever smelled them, you would recognize that particular, slightly tart, a bit oily and spicy, sweet smell. The taste is mostly sour, oily and astringent, but the aroma is phenomenal. Ripe berries are bright ochre yellow and seem to be glowing from within in the sun, just like the bottle of Dolce Amalfi.

Good longevity, linear sillage on cold skin, cold weather. All of the Casamorati line that I have is linear on me and smells like the bottle sprayer does.
Can not wait to try it in summer!

MisterGuy

Got my sample. Was not sure if I could use or not (thought it would be too feminine) so I let my mom use it. At first she didn't seem very impressed. Around 10 minutes after the initial spray, she called me and told me that it was amazing. She said that she could smell every individual ingredient and that she loved it. She did however not like how heavy it was in the clove department and told me it would be better on me (male.)
I ended up using it and it was awesome. I had 3 sprays of it on my skin. Then wore a shirt over that and then my jacket. Now the shirt, my jacked and another shirt I wore the next day under the jacket all have the smell on them. And that was 3 days ago.

Imo, this is a very delicious scent that would get you compliments (got me some). However, the sillage could maybe be improved. I was torn on the clove, but I think it's better this way.

Overall, it's an 8/10 for me.

As for when to wear it. I think it's great to wear in milder summer days and spring. It's also a great date scent if you are going for something fun. Just not for a dinner night out. For that, I would go for something a bit less sweet.

As soon as I get some money, I'm gonna but myself a full bottle of this stuff.

Mayela#1

This is not by any means the most celebrated Xerjoff perfume. It gets "lost" between conversations mostly spinning around Erba Pura and Lira. I did not think much about it when I ordered the sample. O.M.G. This is the kind of perfume that leaves you speechless and numb for a few seconds. It practically came alive in front of me. The genius outside of the vial. To me this is a masterpiece. Unique, potent, incredibly mesmerizing. It's not a "young" perfume; this is meant to be worn by sophisticated grown ups, who wear cashmere sweaters and pearl studs to stay home during cold seasons. Lira is his/her 10 years old little sister, dressed in a yellow dress and almost invisible under her oversized bow. I don't smell any fresh fruit accord. This is spices and Arabic fruits, maybe a drop of honey somewhere, but not much. However, although these notes have been used hasta la náusea, Xerjoff managed to turn Dolce Amalfi into a very alluring and uncommon perfume. To me is not very gourmand in the sense of baked pastries. This is more the smell of spices before they go through the heat; pungent, real and "alive". Totally unisex, in my humble. Easily 8 hours on my skin; much longer on clothes.

L8eenL8

It's the quince compote with cloves that my dad used to make each autumn! I am in love with it, even after so many months of side-eyeing Xerjoff fragrances because of their kitschy bottles. Amazing.

suzanne_ronald

LUMINOUS FRUITY NOUGAT flavoured with cardamom!. Complex and multi-layered, this beauty has an opening burst of pillowy marshmallow nougat with fruity and aquatic touches transitions to a sweet tolu balsam heart that deepens onto an amazing woody cinnamon/spicy base that just keeps going and going. Has a Juicy Fruit/Big Red gum note as it's drying down. Although it's not listed, the final drydown notes altogether evoke the smell of an abstract creamy sandalwood to my nose. Love at first scent, the beauty has been a top ten favourite for me since I first smelt it, and if I had a signature scent, this would be it!

Contrast to Spice & Black Vanilla Cremo:
These are very different, and the opening of S&BVC smells more similar to Spicebomb V&R, but the longer these dry down, the more similar they smell.

Contrast to Suki Essence Weil:
Very different scents but the drydowns are similar. SEW has a more vanillic opening than marshmallow nougat, and a pleasant oud-wood note.

Contrast to Organza Indecence Givenchy:
These are very different, especially the openings where DA is more cardamom forward, however the final drydown on the skin an hour or two in, it does smell like Organza Indecence with a sweet woody cinnamon vibe

Contrast to Dior Addict:
Again very different scents, but the final drydown in DA is reminiscent of Dior Addict 2014 drydown. Dior Addict 2014 has a fresh greenness in the opening and I don't detect any marshmallow.

Contrast to To Be Goodvibes Police:
These are very different, however, there are similarities with marshmallow opening and a woody cinnamon/spicy base. Dolce Amalfi has the characteristic Juicy Fruit note in the opening which I don't smell in TBG.

Overall: Unisex and well above average performance (does benefit from dark storage after first sprays) with a softer scent profile, and while similar to many of my favourites, this beauty is different enough to be FB worthy. It's a love for me. Enjoy!

justsomeguy

Love the fragrance but it fades quickly and completely dies on my skin within three hours. Very disappointed. October 2021 batch.

K_Jordynn

My favorite frag! Smells just like spiced juicy fruit gum. Get compliments EVERY TIME I wear it. Can be worn year round but I mainly pull for it in warm weather. If I believed in Signature fragrances, this would be mine.

skoenig4

This is such a unique and delicious fragrance. I get the same spiced Juicy Fruit gum / fruit punch vibe as everyone else, and for me it just works sooo well. This is probably my favorite fragrance in my collection at this point. Here are some of the comments I received while wearing this:

"Someone is chewing the most delicious bubble gum" - my friend, while we ate lunch
"It smells soooo good in here!" - my girlfriend upon walking into the room after I sprayed it
"Dude, Sam, you smell so f*****g good" - another friend while eating dinner (as I walked away I heard him mention "pheromones" to someone else at the table)
...and many more that don't come to mind

suffice it to say, this fragrance has done wonders for me in the few months I've had a bottle. Definitely recommend checking it out in sample form first.

lmnsvgz

Despite looking like a summer scent, I find this an all-year roung scent. It has a juicy opening, but a very spicy yet powdery drydown. It is sweet but well-balanced. If you enjoy quince and cloves, this is the scent for you. Lovely!

Kizzyb93

This is one that I’ve never really been able to make my mind up with, when I first got it, I was absolutely amazed with the smell kind of remind me of McDonald’s apple pies minus the grease however, as I started to use it a little more, it’s sort of reminded me of a home, fragrance, spray /candle. I don’t find it lost too long on my skin either.
This is one I have to purely be in the mood for.
I love the fragrance, but I don’t like it at the same time.
I know this sounds like I’m contradicting everything that I say, but I truly am on the fence

80sbbygrl

This does smell like juicy fruit bubble gum and I love it 😻

Aroverie

Wow. Hyper-realistic juicy fruit with a dose of warm spices. Well blended, no screechy notes here. Nice scent memory and points for creativity, it’s definitely unique. But I absolutely don’t want to smell like gum the whole day, especially since the longevity is decent. Definitely worth sampling though.

dilfluver777

oh wow this is extremely good.. fragrances with a top note of apple usually all have the same sort of synthetic feel to them, but this is extremely sexy and different. the quince and apple get engulfed in this saffrony floral blanket. the clove and incense sort of work quietly in the background to add depth. the cedar is quite present in this scent to my nose, but it’s not overpowering, it’s more like you can sniff it out if your really looking for it. the scent as a whole has this sort of musky dry spicy sweetness that isn’t gourmand or sugary or overbearing, but just enough to give it an extremely sexy quality. it smells very expensive and well made. definitely blind buy worthy imo, this will absolutely get you many compliments

update: i bought a full size bottle hehe, probably my favorite scent from xerjoff

Spicy89

This to me is reminiscent of a warm spicy applepie, lovely!

prettytrouble

I WISH I got the Juicy Fruit scent that alot of people are saying but all I smell is straight up cloves & incense 🤮 it's waaaaay too strong & mature for my liking 👎🏽

Lukasssss

I get a buttery sweet cinnamon bubble gum up close, while the scent trail smells a lot like a chai latte. Very pleasant.
It is not too heavy nor too light and can probably be worn year round.
Not really something I want to smell like as a man (leans feminine), but I appreciate it regardless. It smells intriguing. 6,5/10.

ashlynbmello

I really wanted to like this. I was hoping for a sweet perfume with a spicy edge. I felt like the bubble gum scent and cloves were competing instead of complementing each other. This perfume had great longevity and projection. Because of the cloves, this scent leaned more masculine. This is definitely a winter scent. I think this would be wildly inappropriate to wear during warmer weather.

marietangerine

This is an interesting oriental gourmand for sure. I wasn’t a big gum kid, but I definitely get the vibe. It’s like cinnamon tutti frutti gum. Strong cloves and quince at the top, about 10min in you get the green apple and cardamom. Lots of yummy incense and tolu balsam. A touch of vanilla and a twist of airy saffron and voilá. Great for fall and winter during the day. Unisex.

Longevity 8/10 (7-12hrs)
Projection 7/10 (3-5ft)
Scent 7/10

havenocreativity1289@&

Well since i've never written a fragrance review or any sort of review to be specific im a little lost on how to begin this. But i have one thing extremely clear before my eyes. The moment i smelled this perfume.... i was in love with it. Super sweet, most would consider it leaning on the feminine side of unisex perfumes or even outright a female perfume but i couldn't resist it. The feeling i got from it was fantastic just if i was walking trough an old italian city in the summer near the sea. Spicy and fruity and very unique i belive. To this day i still love it. Longevity is good on me i can go on 8-10h with 3 sprays without reapplying it and the projection is above average. In my country Winter is not harsh, sometimes it's resembling a colder spring so I can wear it comfortably 4 seasons during the daytime mostly but i think it can work in the nighttime too, eventough there are better options instead of it. In extreme heat or in really dark harsh winter days I dont feel like wearing it. If you're a male thinking about buying this as you're first or only perfume i wouldn't really reccomend it since it has it limitations and you need some confidence to pull this of but if you already have a few perfumes and dont feel bad for paying it's price, then go for it.

In short:
Longevity: 8/10
Projection: 7.5/10 above average
Versatility: 7.3/10 okay-above average (mostly daytime and good weather)
Price: 6/10 (It ain't cheap but it doesn't smelll like it either)
Scent: 9.5/10 (I love sweet fragrances)
Overall for me: 8.2/10

momsmells89

It’s juicy fruit gum + cloves to my nose. No thanks. 🥴

Bondno9girl

I smell spicy cloves, cinnamon, red hots candy? Apple and more spices. Wow this turned my stomach so bad it made me physically feel ill. No fragrance has ever done that to me and I can usually find the good in a perfume even if its not for me but this? THIS IS DISGUSTING! Stayed on my skin overnight and smelled like spices in the morning. I couldn't get it off. Be ready to commit whether you like this scent or not. I have never voted eternal on longevity but for me this was... BOMBASTIC SPICES ON MY SKIN!! 🤢🤢🤢🤮 NO NO NOOOOOO!!! Do not blind buy for the love of God.

rorokoko

This smells like tutti frutti flavor to my American nose. Can't possibly enjoy it :/

Biziqt

I love this scent ! However - its too “young and playful” for me. It really smells exactly like juicy fruit bubble gum on me - it's just too young of a scent for this old lady lol. I blind bought the 3.4 bottle.

Update: just tried again and I take it back - its grown on me - a great daytime scent for me. I could also see this being a great “sexy time” scent - its sweet juicy and enjoyable. Not offensive at all. Plus I dont have anything else like it in my collection. Ill be keeping and using it for sure.

violetruby

I can't get over the Juicy Fruit Gum reference, it is spot on!! But it is quite a lovely delicate apple/citrus and mildly spicy scent. The dry down is 100% apple pie to my nose

gradylives

No seriously: this really does smell like high quality, Juicy Fruit gum.
Really amazing & funny in a good way.

For those not familiar with the smell: it's a sweet, lightly citric smell (no real acidic/sharp bite), mixed with cloves.
Think a mild fruit punch with cloves in it. Like everything else in the Casamorati line, the ingredients feel ramped up and a bit more coarsely put together, in a good way. it definitely is reminiscent of the late 19th century
It's definitely a good fragrance, great for warmer weather...but I couldn't see myself paying retail for a full bottle. You can get a 30 ml on discount sites for well under $100 USD, and that feels fair.

Leolia

If you love the smell of walking into a tea shop you will probably like this scent.
Also smells alot like a chai latte.
It's cozy and perfect for Christmas.

Cherry Bloom

Funny what mixed emotions and perceptions the same perfume brings in people's brains and hearts. And it's normal thing, otherwise all these thousands of perfumes had no meaning. But from all these thousands existing and hundreads of testing this one is still 10/10 for me.

I would have always imagined a flowery or gourmand would steal my heart. Nope. An extra spicy quince did - who the heck would have thought. There is no other like it for me. I've always liked blonde guys. Always dark haired guys got my heart, in reality. You fall in love with what you expect less. Quince was never among my expected favourite note. Looks like it is. Best of the best. My respect and my heart for this beauty. Current favourite for more than an year!

SailorV

If you're looking for a performance beast, this is it. I like sweet, warm and strong fragrances, for example I often prefer Intense flankers of designer perfumes over the original versions, but Dolce Amalfi feels like too much of everything to me. It's not unpleasant, but so dense, heavy and "opaque" that I don't want to smell it all the time.
I hoped for something a little more fine-tuned, like Dama Bianca or Lira.

The scent itself is very sweet and reminds me of bubble gum. I think it's the pink Wrigley's For Kids gum, not Juicy Fruits. Or maybe a mix of both. Even though this has a noticeable apple note and a bubblegum vibe, it luckily doesn't smell like my nemesis, the dreaded green apple bubblegum flavor.
There are also heaps of spices in this. Clove stands out the most, but saffron is quite pronounced, too. The base is creamy and balsamic with a lot of vanilla, very warming, with the fruity notes of the opening still sticking to it.
This is a happy, uplifting scent and not similar to any other perfume I know. If you can handle it, it could be an olfactory light on cold and dark days. But I honestly can't. I don't want to smell like super intense bubblegum and cloves for 24 hours. I wouldn't mind smelling it in passing though.
Despite all the sweetness I find this perfectly unisex/gender neutral.

JamesGamez

In the opening it smells like spicy juicy fruit, mixed with oriental holiday candles/air fresheners type of scent. But once it starts to settle you’re left with the juicy fruit smell with light incense.
It’s sweet but not overbearing.
This is a very unique, and interesting fragrance. i don’t recommend blind buying this.
9.5/10

aspirina

Spicy bubble gum, like red cinnamon kind...with a big dose of tolu balsam, amber and cedar. And ambroxan.
Very nice but not my type of scent. I feel it leans more masculine than feminine and it is too overpriced.
A sample is enough for me.

Gail14

This is straight up Juicy Fruit gum on my skin with a touch of spice! I love this!!! Puts me in a great mood!! :))

mangooo

This smells like walking into Michael's (the craft store). If you've never been to a Michael's just think seasonal winter holiday candle with cloves. Also similar to the candy hot tamales(?) It's very well done though, well blended and smooth. Unfortunately it's more like something I would use as an air freshener for the winter holidays

Divinespirit

It's one very bright, sunny, fruity scent. When I sprayed it on my hand I felt mixed quince, apple, vanila, sunny, summer, bright vibe. It's maybe more towards femine side but it's very interesting scent. If you want "apple profile" scent it a great one.Performance is good with big projection at begining.

FragLoverMNE

Sweet and fresh at the same time. Original, didnt smell anything similar to this fragrance. Smells different, depending of cold or warm weather. Sometimes reminds me of Christmass or winter holidays and sometimes reminds me of a bubble gum. Sexy and unique. Try before buy.

Christinageor10

Oh the rapture! This is absolutely gorgeous and intoxicating. It brings me so much joy immediately and hits the spot when I'm craving something sweet, spicy and addictive.
I'll admit the first time I sprayed it, I was taken aback and needed a minute to process what I was smelling. The cloves gives this a beautiful spiciness and the quince provides a unique fruity opening. I totally agree with another review saying "crunchy" yellow fruit. It adds fresh sweetness and makes my mouth water.
I love wearing this day or night when I'm feeling sassy and cozy (most nights). I regret not getting the largest bottle possible. Absolutely full bottle worthy. 9/10 😍❤️

Kai_11

Apple strudel was my first thought… prior to reading reviews about bubblegum… the balsam in the dry down is gorgeous

thatsoutherngalval

Smells like red hots and juicy fruit...so gross and overpowering. I can't get past the opening. I usually love the Xerjoff DNA, but I just can't.

Osmologist

Love this juice. Good for all year round wear. Contrary to others who say this is too strong I think the formulation of this is just right. Bright, juicy with a nice touch from the tolu balsam. If you are a fan of Acqua Di Parma Madorlo Di Sicilia, then I think you'll love this as it has that same vibe and shares some similarities (apart from the tolu balsam), like its slightly fruitier sister. A 30ml bottle will not last long!

cherubi rubi

I found this to be a spiced fruit punch in the best way possible. Fruit compote too, which smells good to me. It has a nice tropical apple fruit smell(best way I can describe it). Sure, it could also be that old fashioned bubble gum smell (tutti-frutti, the mixed colors round ones in plastic long pack). The notes are well balanced so it’s not too much of anything.

I love it, but again wished it had better projection. I got maybe an hour and sprayed generously over everything. I’ll try it in warm weather again.

8/10-nostalgic, wish it projected longer. Would not repurchase.

specialfairygirl

I am very disappointed with Dolce Amalfi. For me the name is misleading. After the rave reviews, it just smells exactly like the apple compote I make sometimes. Cloves, apples, sugar, water (I put cinnamon too). It is nice for a food but not for a perfume. Cloves predominate and its just not a nice concoction. Don't blind buy it, definitely try before you buy.

richechka

Hello, good mood 👋🏻

This is a beautiful girl walking in coast and chewing spicy bubblegum 👩
So sweet, a bit sour, very spicy and very tasty fragrance.

In the opening fase it increases your energy to the moon and back , in dry down it calms you down… and here’s the magic starts 🪄 🎩
This masterpiece smells like vanilla, cream brûlée ice cream 🍨 🍦- so yummy and smooth!

I bet you will be eaten 😉😎

Good luck and be inspired 💋

Etizaz

Overpowerd by cloves -which is not a favorite note of mine-. But boooy I love it. It was a bit risky blind-buying it given the fact that I'm extremely picky when it comes to fruity fragrances. This one is rather artsy gourmand than simple fruity.
First time I sprayed it on my skin it immediately reminded me of Dior's masterpiece "Vanilla Diorama" if you like that one you probably gonna like Dolce Amalfi. They are not exactly identical but they share the same vibe. Spicy delishhh gourmand.
I would prefer to wear it more in the fall. Its fruitiness is a tad light for the winter & the cloves dominance wouldn't suit the summer heat.

notnati

My mom makes quince vodka from fresh fruits every fall so I'm very familiar with how quince smells; it's the best smelling fruit in the world if you ask me. I was so convinced I was going to love this one but I have mixed feelings about it. I think the fragrance is a little overpowered by the cloves. Too fruity for colder weather, too dense for warmer weather. I'm not bothered by how it smells specifically, I actually like it but I don't see myself wearing it. Rather unique though so I'll give it that!

Olfaddict

starts off spicy fruity gourmand, but not citrusy or red fruity, it is rather yellow crunchy fruit, quince is not necessairly sweet to my tongue which is why i find this fragrance unique in it’s category, dose not project or last for more than two hours on my skin, linear and monotone, i imagine the pefect scenario to wear this one is when you meet an old friend and you have changed a lot since you last met him, you look, feel and talk different, and you smell like you lived a fulfilling life full of adventure and constant change.

Cherry Bloom

I wear this today and i was wondering why the heck i m smelling like Dama Bianca then I remembered a comment down below stating that drydown is the same for both. OMG, it really is. Practicly identical. They start so differently but end up smelling the same. Gorgeous both but heck i own 2 ultra expensive perfumes that smell almost the same.

I just wished so much it was stronger and had better projection. For the price it should have been. But it's a quality perfume, expensive smelling and absolutely beautiful. So happy i have a 100 ml bottle 🥰

Nounou9

A very unique fragrance, i have never smelled something similar. It starts off fruity/spicy fortunately the clove is not overpowering, then cardamom blooms along with the incense hand in hand coated with a bubblegum note which make this perfume playful & still young spirited but not girly. The dry dowm is more mature with the cedar & vanilla... this is a must try perfume & not a safe blind buy... i really love it

amaonsbru

I can imagine that you'll love this if you really like the smell of cloves. Not a bad scent, but really just not for me.

motoconcho

Have a bottle and for me it’s pretty lackluster. if anyone is interested i have it up for trade rn.

Vesperexa

This is the third Xerjoff scent I've smelled, the others were Lira and Dama Bianca. I find these three very similar, at least in the dry down which is a really pleasant amber vanilla. I really like all three but I think it's redundant to own them all. I would say Dolce Amalfi is my favorite of the three because it's the most unisex and has a spicy quality I like.

ILikePeeps

Very nice stuff, a nice kind of dry sweet clove scent. Can remind you of Wrigley's Juicy Fruit gum!
Also may be quite stronger than expected. I did ~1 (ONE!) spray yesterday and kept noticing it, and gf commented on it - she was noticing it as well. Careful with olfactory fatigue with this one.

sunshine0101

Tangy clove. Like someone has served me a sugary refreshing cocktail (orange or yellow colour) with a dash of clove oil. Definitely a summer scent, what I mean by that is something that reminds me of summer. Although because of spices I think it can be worn in all weathers. I can see this will be a very people pleasing scent, can’t see if offending anyone unless someone hates Cloves. This is my second Xerjoff. Didn’t have the best experience with La Tosca. I am glad this turned out great. Love it. I think this will be saved for a very special event.

Cazza759

Overpowering and heinous. Made my nose miserable.

amg7613

This perfume is a good example of why you need to sample a perfume on your skin! On paper, yuck! It smelled like Jäegermeister and I was not interested. Yet, like an old flame I never quite get over, I kept coming back and sprayed on my skin. It’s a beautiful, complex apple spiced brandy with a hint of bubblegum. It doesn’t sound like it works, but TRUST me, it does! It is money. It’s a scent for anyone.

smokeorfire

I hate clove so I had my reservations with this one. Fortunately the clove is restrained and I get mostly cardamom. People liken it to juicy fruit gum and as such it does evoke that imagery. It is refreshingly fruit with some powdery sweetness. 1 maybe 2 sprays and you can wear this in the summer without it being cloying.

Likening this to gum is quite appropriate as it does become a bit bland after a while. I get juicy fruit gum for 4 hours and then it starts becoming just stale gum. Powdery, sweet, slight traces of fruit and spice. But mind you, this is only with 2 sprays. If I bury my nose to my skin I can pick up some faint incense and woods.

I think this will work well in cooler temps when I can use 4 or more sprays. I think it will have more heft and have a luxurious quality about it. But even in the summer with only 1-2 sprays this is still quite good.

cherubi rubi

261
I agree that it has that old fashioned round bubblegum aroma or juicy fruit, sure. There’s also a red fruit punch aroma about it. It’s a very enjoyable and fragrant gourmand that radiates gently.

8/10-unique, wish it was stronger. Would not repurchase.

Shawn330

Beautiful fruity gourmand smells identical to juicy fruit gum in the opening I can drowned myself in this beautiful creation the dry down is even more intoxicating with the incense and resins and classic musky woody xerjoff dry down

Aveline

I've been wanting to sample this forever and finally got a hold of some. This is one of those rare occasions where it actually does smell how I anticipated. Spicy/fruity/sweet...yes. And it does smell like gum. It's yummy. It doesn't seem particularly luxurious, no, but it doesn't smell cheap and I can tell that high quality ingredients were used. Though I will say it is more atmospheric than I expected, compared to just foody. It sort of feels like you are outside a candy store in a lobby of a high end hotel. I find it very clean and finished compared to a lot of other fragrances in this vein. The opening makes me want a small bottle now, but after maybe two hours it turns straight to a generic-ly good, just slightly smoky vanilla. Comparable to Pacifica Island Vanilla. I'll try it again in cooler weather to see if that makes it perform better on my skin.

Cherry Bloom

I have this habit of smelling my fragrances every evening, like a ritual. It's summer and this one on a summer evening is heaven. Beats heaven, i might say. Also in autumn it's gorgeous. I smell my beautiful sweet, gourmands, strong, flowery, sugary, fruity, vanilic perfumes and i'm in extasy. But this one..this one imposes itself. It's a very serious fragrance, mature in the most elegant and beautiful way. Not for girls who want to go out clubbing or picking up guys. No no..this is for a lady who achieved everything she wants in life, with a valuable, put up together man besides her on a fancy night out. It's not seductive because she doesnt want to seduce. She is admired from afar because not anyone can approach her even if she's by herself. I just dont have enough words to describe how precious and gorgeous this fragrance still is to me almost 1 year after 1st trying it. So unique and spicy and incency and sooo classy

Casamorati

Is there any other perfume whose longevity beats this one?

MarlenaStell

I really love this one because it's unique! Starts off fruity and spicy- the Quince and Cloves hit the air first then the cardamom starts pulling through as it dries down. The amber and vanilla add some creaminess while the incense and cedar ground it. It's a very complex fragrance so maybe that's why it's polarizing? It's not for everyone but if you love warm spicy scents, this is gorgeous. It is definitely a Fall and Winter fragrance- it will be overpowering for the hotter months and you'll hate it. Try it when you're snuggling up by the fire in the fall or going out for drinks. It does have the fruit so maybe some people pick that up as the tropical, but it only lasts for 10 minutes or so. The dry down is very warm, spicy amber.

Such a unique and beautifully crafted fragrance. Love this one!

dalomkid

It opens up really spicy, I get the juicy fruit but it doesn’t last for long. It’s heavy on the clove and in the background slightly bubblegum/fruity but the clove is just too prominent off-putting for me. Not a safe blind buy.

Gabri031982

I bet Guaiac Wood is a strong player here , it’s kinda weird not to mention it

Nikkicousinp

An exquisite fruity gourmand!

stephan

My nose or the sample is broken.
This fragrance is great, but my nose thinks it is Wonderwood.

1Khalesi4

This is not a summer fragrance! Very spicy, heavy and oud-ish. Hard pass!

jassca99

It’s really easy to summarize this fragrance as juicy fruit gum with a little spice sprinkled over it. And it is just that, but at the same time, you can pick up the individual notes that combine to strangely create “that”. The green apple and quince sweetened by vanilla and blended well with ample bitter cloves. Cardamom playing it’s small spicy role and amber grounding the fragrance so it can still smell like a fragrance? Maybe these are the secret ingredients of the gum after all. Anyways, I can’t really pin point where I would be able wear this

virgo16

Oh, I love this. I got a small sample and once I put it in I could not stop smelling my wrist. This is warm, sweet, spicy, and comforting. After the second day of wearing the sample, I bought a full bottle.

Daniela_Beatriz

@cfman you are not alone - I do get a little banana, maybe because of the “bubblegummy” quality? Also very unique to me, and I have had a loooong walk in the fragrance world. Don’t be fooled by those people who compare it to Demeter’s Bubblegum (are you crazy, folks?) or Lolita L… also nothing even remotely similar to Meharees. This one is a unique gem.

cfman

Warm & Spicy......yes
Tonka...................yes
Vanilla..................yes
Incense................yes
Juicy Fruit Gum...yes
Clove...................yes
and the note I haven't seen anyone mention....BANANA!

I get banana and I love it! Even though some may think it's "girly"...I have purchased a full bottle. I am comfortable with my masculinity...

I will admit this is not a signature scent or something that you would wear all the time. You need to choose the right time to wear this and for me it will be casual daytime outings in the spring, fall and mild summer days.

I have about 200 fragrances and nothing in my collection smells like Dolce Amalfi.

Arber Cami

I'm sort of confused with this one. It opens up really spicy, dries down to a mild spicy, heavy on the clove and in the background bubblegum/sweet . Its really unique but the clove is off-putting for me. Sample before buying. Longevity could be improved also.

fredrik80

Im mixed on this - i love the drydown when the spices calm down and it goes vanilla juicyfruit. It lasta forever aswell. However it is very very clove-heavy for a few hours and i have a problem with cloves.
It reminds me of Tobacco Vanille somehow, that clove overdose

christinky

I thought there was no way this was for me because of all the "bubble gum" and "Juicy Fruit" comments and some people describing it as "girly" or "young." Just goes to show you have to try things for yourself. I am not a lover of overly-fruity perfumes, I am in no way "girly" and I am not young, and I certainly would never chew gum in public. I am, truthfully, usually percieved as a rather formidable. Yet, I love this perfume. So, yes, these reviews are not to be trusted. I agree that the opening is like the Juicy Fruit I recall from childhood, but it's that and more. If Juicy Fruit and Bubble Tape is all you can come up with, honey, you need to expand your palate and expand your horizons. This is not a simple perfume, and it is not one that you would expect to smell in Sephora. It is unsual. I especially love the clove note. Like many Xerjoffs, the drydown is so delicious, and the drydown reminds me a tiny bit of Dama Bianca. I think this is a perfume for all seasons and all times. I don't need to say more, because you just need to try it for yourself if you are a fan of Xerjoff or like unique perfumes.

erika.isme.98

This smells just like apple cider to me! I like it! It starts out very sweet spice Hallmark store and morphs into something much more delectable. Like a buttery spiced apple cider with faint bubblegum in the background.

Rconectn

I did not like this at all. As everyone before me has mentioned it has that "Hubba Bubba Bubble Tape" gum smell; that smell is what dominates the life of the fragrance, it never leaves. It leans feminine in my opinion because of that Bubble Tape gum smell. It really is a little nausea inducing if you put your nose to where you applied it. Not blind buy worthy, get a sample before you commit to buying a bottle. This perfume can work in all seasons.

Joani_Cheddar

When I put this on - I immediately feel the need to sing the jingle "the taste is going to move you". This is Juicy Fruit gum in a bottle. The exact smell. EXACT. So if you like that scent this fragrance is definitely for you. It's okay, I personally would choose Maison Margiela Mutiny of a similar type vibe. I think this would be a safe blind buy for most. Cute, fun, grown-n-girly fragrance.

Bergamet

At this point the only question worth asking is: 30mL or 100mL?
Ordinarily if I like a fragrance I would tear through my sample in a heartbeat. This one, however, I have savoured for months. Quince is the most interesting note here and despite being listed as a top note it sticks around for a long while. Juicy fruit associations are justified (there are plenty of ways to create a bubble-gum accord) but it doesn't smell cheap like that. It does, however, smell young and mega fun, and could easily become the perfect night-clubbing fragrance in a tasteful young persons collection. It leans feminine but as a gourmand lover I couldn't care less, who wouldn't want to own a fragrance that smells like bourgeoise bubble gum?

10/10 from one of the best houses in the game. Get yourself a sample, do it!

xx5ko

Used a bottle (among 50+ bottles of the other parfumes I own), bought a second, will buy third and so on...
Adore its uniqueness!
Oh yes... I forgot.
Wearing it in the summer, only, daytime, and all those hot days during the spring. Travelling all around with it. Hot days in Barcelona, Madrid, Andalusia, Lisbon, Bulgarian seaside, Tel Aviv, Larnaca, Amman... Walking around the streets looking for sightseeings, listening to music and frequently taking it out from my backpack for another spray. Always makes me out of space and lift me up.
Together with Memo's Tiger nest are my signiture ones.

I wish I had back all the money I’ve spent looking for a beautiful pink bubblegum fragrance that wasn’t cheap, powdery or rose-scented. I would buy ten bottles of this and overspray at every opportunity.

handkmommy

My husband told me it smells like the clove bubble gum. I always ask his opinions because I probably already have another fragrance on when testing out something and that affects what I’m smelling. So, I usually ask, other people to help describe stuff. I definitely get a little incense, but everything really blends into a clove bubblegum vibe. Kinda how Tobacco Vanille does, but not so loud.

You know that pink powdery roll bubblegum? The one in the pink cicular case ,?
Remember the smell of opening that pink case and the candy powdery scent coming out I would always smell first the whole piece of gum just appreciating that sweet smell .

Im so glad dolce amalfi exists . It’s actually something I’ve always wanted 🤣 a perfume with a real gourmand bubblegum scent. Not the fake synthetic gum , this is the real one .
I will always repurchase this 💎 gem . Please don’t discontinue 😩💗

iszzieanna

Opens super juicy with the quince and apple. That slowly starts to fade and the balsams, resins, cloves and vanilla-incense starts to heat up. This is by far the strangest combination of notes I’ve ever tried and absolutely loved. The depth of the clove, along with the vanilla getting stronger…stunning. Super unexpected love

Nancy_dawn

It smells like warm apple pie and I'm in love with it.

loselefantes

Imo there is nothing, absolutely nothing gourmand about this fragrance. It smells like a warm pine tree in winter decorated with oranges. I do like this fragrance, however it leans a bit too masculine on me and smells exactly like Boss Bottled, which is way cheaper... A good winter fragrance with an expensive price tag, I won't be using it. I love the drydown tho.

Dlhoney

So this is pleasant enough but it gives me car wash vibes. You know that pink foamy soap they use at the car wash that it what it smells like to me. May work better on others but not FB worthy.

Cherry Bloom

This is one of the most original smells I've experienced. Quince, saffron, cloves...who would have imagined i might like a perfume with these notes. And I definitely smell each of them. Extremely spicy. I ve put my hands on a 5 ml decant, sniff sniff it.. yeap, i'll get my own bottle of this one. Too original and quite versatile. I want it in my life

Update: I got my own bottle and it is, currently, myy favourite fragrance. The most unique smell i've tried so far

Marcela P

This is the holidays in a bottle. It smells like a stovetop Christmas potpourri made with citrus, apples, and warm spices.

Sheckie9

As some stated before, this smells like luxury bubblegum. A spicy, incense juicy fruit gum. This is lovely, and I look forward to wearing it in spring and summer. Lasts very well.

This is a first impression as I just got my hands on a sample:

Sweet, cozy, and fresh. I absolutely get the "luxury bubblegum" comments. My husband independently also identified the bubblegum smell. He smells like someone chewing gum immediately after sex.
Not sure it rises to full-bottle status, but few do. I'd say this is a pretty safe blind-buy--hard for me to imagine anyone not liking this. It's got something for everyone--it's a little bit gourmand, but could still appeal to non-gourmand lovers. It's a little bit fresh, but not particularly aquatic or soap-like, it's a little bit fruity but not in a literal way at all. It could be worn any time of day or year. Unisex but leans a little feminine.

RawSmells

Wow! This one threw me! I didnt not expect this, I was expecting a freshie akin to Mefisto, but no, not at all, I’ve only just taken a spritz off it, and it’s gorgeous, but I seem to feel it has DNA from another Xerjoff frag, I can’t pinpoint it yet, but this is definitely not a freshie. As someone else said, it starts freshle, only for a few moments, but you can feel the darker notes already hiding, then it just grows from there. I con’t comment very much, as only had it on for about 15 minutes, but I regret getting a 30mil, should have been a 100mil, definitely a love at first “snif”……….so far anyway :)

Update: ok I only used one spritz on my hand, then went out, but didn’t spritz it on, I put a few squirts of Xerjoff Mefisto, on the rest of me and all I could smell was the single spritz of this, I couldn’t smell Mefisto at all. This is gorgeous, probably in the top 3 Xerjoff for me (this is my tenth Xerjoff). This is an ever so slightly woody frag with loads of spices that blend magnifecanltly with the slightly citrus opening, but it’s spices for me, and lovely gorgeous spices, I think this is definitely a winner :)

NOSEYBODY

I agree with Luxury Bubblegum. If someone were to say a Luxury Vanilla Apple & Citrus Fruit Swirl Ice Cream I’d agree with that too.

The Quince, Apple, Tonka, Cedar, & Vanilla are the star players. Nothing about this fragrance smells warm & spicy. 12 hours in & not once did I pick up on even a remote hint of Saffron, Cardamom or Clove.

Tolu Balsam, Musk, Incense? Forget about it.

As it dries I do pick up on a subtle hint of Amber. But it’s so subtle that it’s not worth mentioning.

This is such a novelty bubblegum fragrance that i can’t think of a scenario in which I will be able to wear it in.

However, I do think that people who love Nishane’s ANI will no doubt enjoy this offering.

As fo me, it’s a no.

kneedeep

Was kind of shocked with how long this lasted on my clothes. The unique fruit choice really lasts through the drydown as well, as this is extremely linear/stable. Projection was also surprisingly good. It's definitely like a luxury Juicy Fruit gum with the addition of cloves, cardamom, and vanilla as the biggest notes. The incense is not big (if you're sensitive to it like I am) and just adds body. Thankfully, I don't notice any saffron since a lot of these notes are well blended and don't stick out. Very high quality and refined smelling, even though it's so fruity- which is exactly why I like it. I struggle finding fragrances to wear in the summer since I do not like the typical freshie/citrus genre at all. I try to save my bottle for the hotter months since I don't have many other options, but honestly it's nice in the colder weather too. I really like the refined/classy and unique style of this house. This is impressively well done.

Sweetasgodiva

I can not do a review because I just ordered a haul of five. This should be the first to arrive! I can not denigrate the reviews here because you good folks led me to two of my two favorite gourmands, Love & Crime Ex Idolo and the Gate Paris Inside Out. In each of these reviews, I was able to comfortably blind buy. Inside out was a gift from my son and came all the way from Italy. A beautiful wardrobe box. I noticed that the primary reaction was a juicy fruit gum or bubblegum and incenses .
I did not read one review where people did not make it to the point of some of the more descriptive bad reviews, i.e. old socks in catburine...lol Love the fragrance community as a whole they are warm and generous people, and quite the poets and comics

Smells like spicy incense and juicyfruit bubblegum! Immediately out of the tester and fresh on my skin it reminded me a bit of Lira. It is a pleasant fragrance but simply not for me and too similar to Lira when first sprayed (I already own and enjoy Lira). Drydown is straight Juicyfruit. Decent longevity and not a challenging fragrance.

Nataliemarie

I've already reviewed this Gem & it could EASILY be in my top 10 for life. I also just got Fragrenza's dupe, it's not on Fragrantica, so I wanted to post this info for anyone curious. Fragrenzas is no where near as good as this. There's a ton of Balsam, in theirs, so you will smell like a Christmas tree. Just beware & buy this. I couldn't write this review on Fragrenzas website either....hmmmmmm. IF you do already have this clone it does help to spray from a distance & lightly, but it doesn't last long.

Leif

Two ideas combined: warm spice, and pink bubblegum.

My nose first picked up on the spices, especially cardamom and cloves in the opening. Immediately thereafter, I got apple and pear. This is a super sweet and juicy fragrance. On my skin, the spices become subdued within 3-4 hours, but the bubblegum sweetness keeps on going for 12+ hours. I also got a boozy vibe, sort of like whiskey.

I sprayed this 6 times from a 2 ml sample. The first two sprayes were only partial, so I gave it a few additional pumps for good measure. 4 times on my neck, and 2 times on my right forearm. That was way too much! This stuff is super potent, with a powerful projection and sillage. When my wife came home after work (~6 hours after I sprayed it on), she immediately commented that I reeked. She hates this smell. I enjoyed it, but it became nauseating after a while.

It surprises me to see that many people call this a warm-weather fragrance. To me, this would be a cold-weather fragrance, due to the particular spices and candy sweetness. This would also be a great night-time/clubbing fragrance, when you want to garner attention.

FirstSense

I had a full week to test a 2 ml decant of Xerjoff's Casamorati Dolce Amalfi. And what a week it was, olfactory wise. I couldn't get the fruity bubblegummy vanilla and warm spicy scent with a hint of incense out of my head.

The quince pear fruit was a smell I never tried properly. I know the fruit but I could never imagine that such a fresh fruity lemony note could be extracted from this sweet sour pear. It smells very natural but I can imagine that Xerjoff's chemists and perfumer made an artificial note because this fragrance reminds me absolutely of Wrigley's Juicy Fruit bubblegum. Are we getting fooled here? Did I pay this large amount of money for a synthetic Juicy Fruit bubblegum perfume? I don't think so. To me Dolce Amalfi is a masterpiece and is very unique in the offer of hundreds of citrus fruit fragrances. The enchanting fresh fruity start lasts at least an hour. And then slowly the top notes are transposed to the cloves, saffron, tolu balsam and incense, the heart of the fragrance. These notes stay there a long time fighting for attention. The fruity apple and quince keeps on popping up to the surface. Slowly the base is reached after more than three hours. The final dry down is a lovely mixture of vanilla, tonka bean, amber, and white musk. There is a very light woody ceder note that combines wonderfully with the remains of the quince and incense. The cloves keep on projecting in a very light manner. Cloves are very strong and smell very particular so the blend and composition are excellent because the cloves never annoy me. The projection and sillage are sweet and inviting. Housemates keep on telling me I smell delicious.

The next day I still could smell the quince, musk and vanilla on my skin. So the performance is very good. Dolce Amalfi is a very versatile fragrance for spring, summer, fall and winter. For a refreshing effect, you don't have to spray a lot of the juice, but for a heavy projection you can easy spray generously, the frag never gets sticky or heavy. The presentation is incredibly stylish and flawless, like all Xerjoff's . It's gonna be my very special fragrance and I really have to restrain myself not to spray everything in a few months.

clo2005

opening: blast of quince, citrusy fruity a bit sour in that citrusy way, i get the bubble gum everyone is talking about. about half an hour in the cloves and cardamom is starting to come out but it is not super spicy id say it is still citrusy and bubblegum with j a tinsy hit of bitter cardamom and spicy clove

Dry down: Scent stayed quite linear, never got notes of apple, amber, cedar or vanilla and tonka bean. Got a slight muskiness to it now but mainly it is just a slightly powdered down version of the opening i described. It sits very close to the skin and longevity probably isnt great but ill check in on that throughout the day.

9 hours later: it is basically gone now but i am only j now getting a whiff of vanilla. nothing else j vanilla on my skin but it is such a skin scent that i think it might be my nose deceiving me but otherwise the fragrance is gone now

Overall, not impressed, this is my first time properly trying out a Xerjoff fragrance which I've been told is a house with good projection, sillage and longevity and the fragrance itself is also mediocre and not my favourite but if you want to smell like citrussy bubblegum, give it a go

UnearthlyApothecary

Instantly reminds me of Lush Tank Battle which is one of my favorite perfumes of all time but this one is soooo weak, like a watered down version. I can barely smell it on myself after generously spraying. I have to really whiff to catch it. I finally get a faint bit of fruity spicy/clovey bubblegum incense, I can’t believe how similar it is to Lush Tank Battle but kinda like how Tank Battle smells on my skin AFTER a shower. I can imagine how disappointed I would be if I blind bought a FB and spent that much on it. if I had never smelled Tank Battle prior to smelling Dolce Amalfi I probably would have been mad for it but the performance is just so bleh

valelita

To me the smells like a muted version of Lira. It is a nice, sweet but not too sweet, musky scent. It sits way too close to the skin though. You would definitely have to overspray. This fragrance does not blow me away. It reminds me of a stronger version of Amber Musk by Aerin. To me this is not full bottle worthy but I am glad I got to sample it. I prefer Lira, has more character

Sugarpoiso

So I bought this after watching Simple Chic Life/Ilythia review this on her channel and brought up people on here saying it smells like Juicy Fruit. It doesn't at all to me which would be a disappointment if this wasn't so lovely. To my nose it smells like Panettone (more the dried fruits in the bread) and a pinch of spicy incense like you'd smell in a Catholic Church. The clove stands out. It's warm, not overly sweet, slightly gourmand and hits a part of my brain that makes it feel nostalgic.

Mizi

It is a beautiful scent! On my skin it opens with a lot of vanilla and musk. After a while I can smell apple and quince, bit of amber...I'm not a 'nose' so you'll have to excuse my simple language. I can also smell warmed toffee...Started using Dolce when it got cold in autumn and can't stop applying it daily. It makes me feel happy, cosy, warm and calm. It's not too sweet imo because if it was it would make me nauseous for sure, I'm like that with fragrance. I get when people refer to juicy fruit in their description but its like a 'natural' JF gum, or special edition wrapped in gold leaf ;)

ScentFan2021

Straight-up bubble gum.

Kaylovely

Sexiest juicy fruit to date! eternal on skin yet to test on clothing.

Anitanita.

Okay maybe it smells like fruity bubble gum but expensive one ! I just Love it , it is so fruity and flirty I can't get enough of it.

Natashaps01

Smells like Big Red chewing gum on me. Nice but not wow considering the price. I’ll try it in the summer and maybe I will like it more.

dezie_pinx

Smells like bubblegum and smoke, wouldn’t expect this to be so expensive but I do really like it , kind of smells cheap in a sexy way . Strange enough

momoelena

Well, my 4 year old son likes it! I will agree, it smells entirely of bubble gum. With a slight musk dry down.

Mocca91

This is so awful. Makes me sick. Have tried several times, I just can not stand it. Worst XJ Casamorati I have tried so far.

Bardopia

This reminds me of hubba bubba chewing gum. It transported me right back to little league in the 80’s. It’s a unique scent, not fbw for me, but I will take whiffs of my decant when I want to feel nostalgic.

ladyjb

Smells like Christmas pudding and juicy fruit chewing gum! Like a sweeter and less musky Musc Ravageur. Definitely unique, it’s actually quite lovely.

RayCashhhh

I wanted to like this, but it smells like the bubblegum that comes in the yellow and blue wrapper. You know, the cheap kind you can get for 25 cent? That's what this smells like, along with a touch incense. It's not terrible, and maybe it's just how it blends with my skin, but I'm not feeling it.

twoski

Being the fumbly idiot i am, i managed to accidentally dump a sampler down my forearm by accident. Great, i thought to myself, now i'll reek all day and it'll be overbearing.

Surprisingly this was not the case. The sillage is probably arm's length at its peak. The lifespan of this fragrance is pretty solid, i applied it at 5pm and woke up the next day and still had a nice skin scent. Respectable performance, for the most part, but the sillage could be better considering the price of this fragrance.

The initial scent is something like a tangy, spicy juicy fruit, which will dry down to just a simple juicy fruit.

For me it's just slightly too cloying, it's hard to actually take this perfume seriously. "Dolce Amalfi" really made me think they'd try to come up with something sophisticated that captures the feeling of driving down the amalfi coast and stopping to sip on some limoncello in the sun next to the cliffs overlooking the ocean or something. Instead it just seems like liquid essence of juicy fruit mixed with some tangy fruit juice and spices. If you're into that, then you'll love this fragrance.

Nataliemarie

This is a very gentle beauty. I agree with what most are saying, it's just a whisper & for the price?? I won't buy again. Slightly spicey Juicy fruit, but I have to pressssss my nose to my wrist to smell 3 sprays. I guarantee you no one else could smell it. It's def a good "bubblegum" scent tho, that Toy 2 Bubblegum is a trainwreck. Cedary Rose gum. That's just nasty. i think this 1 oz bottle should cost no more than $35. Just b/c t's not strong & it's just barely there for a few minutes. I have mannnyyy bodysprays that cost less than $10 that outlast & outproject this by a mile. I can't justify it.

PJordan

This is an initial thought ~ I purchased this because I consider myself a fruity gourmand lover and the ratings were so high…4.21 to be exact. I love Lira and Italica and I like Naxos, but my goodness… what do we have here?
I get over ripened fruits. The Quince note is there, but to my nose this smells like an over ripened orange or almost rancid taste, certainly not suitable to eat. Fermented fruit! This stage lasted over 30 mins on my skin. Then it settles and is kinda pleasant, kind of not so pleasant. Seriously… I’m trying to train my nose to adhere and appreciate non vanilla, chocolate, almond, sweet and fruity smells so I gave this a try. I’ll give it another spin but for now… for now I think my skin says no.

hadassa

It could have been gorgeous! Fruity bubblegum and spices, musk, tropical and/or Mediterranean vibes. Great longevity. It's also unique, there is nothing that smells similar. However... I just cannot get past the rotten fruits undertone I feel in it. It is nauseating. I sprayed this one on a paper strip, my husband was in the same room and not even that close to me, and said - "what is THIS strange, unpleasant smell??", - and I totally get it. Probably just for some noses, but underneath the juicy fruitiness and cloves there is a stank I personally cannot stomach.

maddy.cucu

Upon initial spray I was so pleasantly surprised at how much I loved it! I got that juicy fruity and tart quince and apple with a blast of cloves. Super fresh and spicy. Settles down to powdery and soft woody spicy clove that has a touch of sweetness.

And then I read the reviews. Spicey Wrigleys bubblegum. Ugh yes that’s accurate. I hate to say that because I usually hate bubblegum scents as they remind me of just artificial plasticy sweet fakeness, but I really am enjoying this one.
It’s a lot more sophisticated than that IMO.

I tested this on a hot summer NYC evening and I find longevity mediocre. Projection went to a skin scent pretty quickly but could be the humidity and I have dry skin.

Otherwise, lovely and unique!

Review: Xerjoff Casamorati - Dolce Amalfi 🍨 🍋

Yes, I totally got the fruity juicy vibe out of this. First spray freaked me out a bit as I can smell straight up Langsat or Longkong which is the fruits that grow in Southeast Asia. 🌺

“The taste of langsat is tender, perfectly balanced, sweet with a pinch of sour. The flesh is soft and juicy. Flavour & flesh remind of medium-sweet white grapes and ripe grapefruit.” 💚💛 And that’s to me, how the Dolce Almalfi smell like. I love this fruit and I grew up eating them a lot (when I was a kid, I would rather eat fruits than have rice 😜). However, upon the first sniff, I questioned myself, do I want to walk around smelling like Langsat? Hmmm 🤔

Later, I gave it more time and let it sunk on me for couple days, teaching my nose to pick up more notes out of it rather than just stuck with this overwhelming langsat vibe that I initially got. And it grew on me. This is practically fruity dessert in a bottle. 🍮

When the sharp sourness and green notes settled down, saffron/ cardamom came out and later, led to this beautiful base with sweetness from vanilla, tonga bean and amber, it became captivating. 🤩 I wish it has more vanilla here to soften it up a little bit more though (I know I’m a vanilla addict). But all in all, this is a great unisex, spring/ summer delicious tropical scent and I will definitely take it to the beach next time I’m on vacation. Or just layering it with another vanilla perfume like I did this morning to just bring me the summer holiday vibe which I kinda need now. 🌴⛱🌊

At first spray it smells like fireball whisky and those red hot spicy jaw breaker candy things but really quickly settles into a spicy bubble gum scent in less then 5 minutes. It’s really pleasant and it’s a unisex fragrance for sure. I love it but I just can’t bring myself to spend that much money only to smell like spicy bubble gum. This is a winner only because I’ve NEVER came across a fragrance that actually smells like REAL bubble gum until now.

from a sample....almost counter-intuitive...very quickly rings the changes, spritzy, fruity opening, rich, almost creamy lemon-dessert mid, and a great deal of amber dry-down...fall and winter, could be a yummy bed-time fragrance...

Wrigleys - Juicy Fruit.
Excellent smell. Worth adding to collection if you are into different bubblegum smells.

First blast of cold sweet undefinable fruit followed by saffron. Other than the saffron, it's so difficult to break this one into down individual notes. Overall, it's sweet and gourmand, still strangely cold, beautiful, intriguing, smooth. People who smell you will want to lean in more, trying to understand what exactly they're smelling. I'll wait a bit to see if the darker notes start to show themselves. Projection is alright, about arms' length. Unisex but leans feminine and I think this one would suit cool weather.

After an hour, a spicy clove starts to dominate the other notes, turning this into a cozy almost woody scent. Reading other reviews and I think "spiced bubblegum" is the perfect description.

6+ hours later: The scent intensified on the spicy part of the bubblegum a bit but stayed sweet. It's still faintly there.

I met this perfume when I bought a sweater and the girl who sold me spritzed a little bit on it. I was obsessed! Asked her what was it and immediately looked for it - I need to get to know that perfume more deeply! Yeah, I have to agree with the others that say “spiced bubblegum”, as I get 100% this. At first spritz is very prominent the bubblegum and cloves, after it starts to drydown it is still the same, just a little subdued. To me this one is very unisex. A huge like!

Update: okay, so when push came to shove, the like became a love. I have ordered a 10ml decant, then when it was running low I got the hairmist (same smell, obviously less staying power) and now I splurged… got a 100ml bottle. And honestly, I believe I would repurchase it when I am done with it!

Kinda scent of a prostitute... I mean it.
Extremely extremely feminine!!!

Projection 10/8

Do not blind buy.

It’s pretty, but not a favorite. It smells like a very sweet apple strudel with a caramel drizzle at first. A light incense smokiness around middle, not dark or heavy though. Dry down, almost skin scent is my favorite as it’s no longer so sweet; cedar pops and incense is warmer and caramelized.

Spiced bubblegum is right. I mostly smell cloves and cardamom with a bit of fruit (I’m guessing the quince). Definitely leans masculine. This is a unique and well blended fragrance but not for me.

On the opening of Dolce Amalfi, I get IMMEDIATE BUBBLE TAPE SMELL ON THE OPENING. It's wild how a combination of scents can lead to such nostalgia!

It settles down into a more wearable citrus, but with that bubblegum DNA sticking around to keep things playful and interesting. Out of the Xerjoffs I picked up in this most recent decant haul, this is the most wearable and pleasant to me, but I sold off the decant, as the scent didn't really change much on me over the 30 minutes I kept it on my arm.

I'm personally not really looking to smell like Bubble Tape, but I hope the Dolce Amalfi decant works out for the new owner!

Love at first sniff! Opens with bright, juicy quince /apple. Yes, I definitely get bubblegum notes, Juicy Fruit bubblegum and light cloves. Then incense, resins, tolu balsam start to kick in, and it's my favorite part. Very wearable sweet incense, labdanum kind. Gorgeous fruity bubblegum amber fragrance. Light spicy vanilla in the deep drydown (I get something like sweet, candied corn puffs, strange, I know). For a Xerjoff perfume it is rather soft and light. Moderate sillage and longevity (6 hrs +). A Xerjoff for spring, fall and summer evenings. Unique and well done.
10 / 10
Ladies beware, it might lean a tad bit masculine.
My SO didn't like it (when incense and amber were prominent). He said, "It's too strong and overwhelming. Please don't wear it again. Don't you have something fruity and sweet??" LOL, yeah right... If I have to choose... I will choose my Dolce Amalfi over him to be honest 😂😂😂

To me this smells like a spicy pink bubble tape bubble gum. People tell me I smell like cookies. Long lasting with moderate sillage.

This is one of my favorite creamy gourmands, probably THE favorite. It opens ever so slightly boozy, with sweet apple and quince liqueur vibes, sweetened with the most delicious vanilla and tonka beans. Cardamom and saffron add a wonderful dimension that feels thick and luxurious and enveloping but on me these notes are supporting notes and never take over the composition. There are also delicately woven hints of incense throughout the composition that give it this amazing smoky vibe - just a touch, and just enough depth to prevent it from ever becoming too sweet or too thick. I think that DA is the epitome of a unisex scent but if pushed to decide I'd say feminine leaning.

Blended to perfection!! For me 10/10

-Opens with a super sweet, cotton candy scent.
-This is one loud, in-your-face gourmand.
-Not fbw. (-)

Spice and creamy citrus-gourmand . This smells exactly like a lemony dessert, without the sharp zest, added with creamy vanilla vibes. At least the name is clear, Dolce = gourmand and Amalfi is an italian town close to Naples famous for lemons.
My husband loved it, I secretly wanted for myself. How is that possible that lemon is not on the notes list? difficult to find and tag price was monstrous.
Now that the bottle is finished I missed a lot. For a lighter version check Vanille Insensee atelier Cologne

Renae Ta

A unisex - more masculine fragrance with the freshness of fruit that is grounded by the light spice of cardamom, vanilla, musk and cloves. Will be giving to my partner to enjoy it on him!
