Am I going completely insane or does the opening totally smell like bread??? Maybe it's the ginger note that smells funny to me. After dry down though, the ginger actually rounds off the fruity notes quite nicely; as if the fruits have been warmed by the afternoon sun. It's realistically fruity, but it doesn't have that innate sourish freshness that a lot of fruity fragrances have.

It's pleasant, just not what I was looking for. I was hoping this would be a crisp, mouthwatering rhubarb scent to replace my beloved discontinued Rose de Shiraz... Alas, the search will have to continue.

Fresh, tart and juicy perfectly sums this up! If you have a fruity perfume that is too sweet for you (particularly a berry perfume), this would be an excellent choice to layer with it. It’s a “love” from me!

Light and youthful. Mostly rhubarb and cassis with some citrus and inappropriately named, as it's better for summer than spring. Leans feminine.

The biggest mistake you can make with this fragrance is to expect it to be something it is not. This one is a happy, tart, mouthwatering rhubarb and citrus cologne, unpretentious to be sprayed mercilessly and it lifts your mood up instantly. I love it! But do not pay more than 15 euros for it ;)
And dear YR, please bring back the old bottles, these are so ugly...

I FINALLY got the 3.4oz EDT of this scent during YR's big online clearance sale this month--( I tried to order this about 6 months ago by phone and was told it was ABSOLUTELY sold out and unavailable. I find their call center people to be a flaky and evasive crew--neither truthful or reliable! That never used to be true---may be a pandemic problem!) I had gotten the light travel size body spray and loved it--but wanted more staying power. I just LOVE GREEN FRAGRANCES!!! I wanted to try a green rhubarb scent but Hermes was way too pricey and so was Sisley! This has OK longevity and silage on me-- not the best but acceptable. It's fresh--clean--uplifting and mood elevating. It will be seasonal--spring and summer---but I love the way I feel when I wear it--it takes me back to the Vent Vert and Aliage days of college in the 1970's--and boy---could I ever use a shot of THAT nostalgia after slogging through 2020!!

Awesome, fresh, uplifting vegetal scent. Has a little bit of blackcurrant top note but the vegetal rhubarb is the one note that I smell the most. Green in a fresh way. Not citrusy. Longevity is abysmal, however. This won't even be strong enough to cover a mosquito's fart. Seriously though, a typical men's aftershave probably lasts longer than this.

I'm using it as after-shower scent these days, knowing that about a quarter to an hour later, I'll have to use something else that is longer-lasting.

Better than this year's My Kiwi Kiss though.

Don't pay more than £15 for this. It's a nice-to-have scent, but you're not missing out a whole lot not having this one.

This is definitely a summer edt, very refreshing, tart and I can actually smell the rhubarb, which is not a scent easily captured. I got it on sale, dirt cheap, so I can practically shower with it, and with the temperature soaring I really will :P
Predominantly I smell the cassis leaves and rhubarb on this, a very nice change from all the too common citrusy / fruity /floral /woodsy / amberish perfumes out there. It is very weak, have to reapply every hour to enjoy it. But at sale price of 5Euro a pop, that's easily done.

I first got the shower gel from the series “hello printemps”, smells really refreshing.

This EDT is not far, although I smell more citrus - lemon and rhubarb - actually reminds me of 4711 EDC.

It’s nice, not much power here. I guess it’s more of a “feel good” edt, because it invigorates you.

This fragrance took time for me to enjoy. First it seemed ridiculously light. It is, but fresh and lovely. Natural and fresh. Definitely not sweet. I like it!

The most naturalistic rhubarb ever! If you have ever smelled the raw rhubarb stilks being peeled, this is it, mouthwatering and slightly tart.

I love that initial refreshing juicy blast so much, that I help myself to it several times a day, knowing full well that if sprayed right after shower, it lasts a decent amount of time, 6-7 hours with silage. Since I want a more prominent silage and absolutely adore the smell, I overspray shamelessly. It has been so good in spring and now in summer, I wonder what autumn and winter will bring.

For the PM Delina lovers that do not want to splurge yet, this is a light version of it for the tiny fraction of the price. I have already received a backup bottle.

Cute bottle, plastic spray pump, and a very tart blast of rhubarb. I'm used to Hermes Eau D'Ecarlate rhubarb, which is much sweeter. This smells like fresh broken stalks of sour rhubarb mixed with a 1960s plastic toy sharp smell. Like a plastic doll right out of the box, with all the chemical smell attached. In one hour, it is a skin scent. I don't know if I will use this much, other than to keep it in the fridge and spray my self silly in hot weather. Might be good for young people in their tweens and above, who like to go nuts spraying away. Bring back the Essences line, like Vanille Noire and Rose Oud and Accord Chic. Those were awesome. Still, I'm a collector at heart and this will go beside My Green Summer and Collection d'Ete.

Rhubarb is a definite no for me. Still I was hoping when I tested this edt. Well, no. Unfortunately the appetizing packaging hold a scent that is not pleasant to my nose. I will stick to the previous limited edition from 2019, My Green Summer.

'Hello Printemps' opens with a deliciously tart, green - and surprisingly enough - dusty combination of rhubarb and black currant leaf (not cat pissy at all, by the way - so, no fear!).

It's a fresh, and very spring like scent - and the dustiness softens the tartness beautifully, and gives the fragrance a cozy and soft feel. It also gives the composition a hazy expression, like we're noticing the scent through a veil. The opening feels like a distant, lovely scent memory - something from our childhood maybe? It's both sweet and melancholic at the same time.

The tartness lingers while the fragrance blooms into its blushing palmarosa heart. Palmarosa is a type of straw or grass that has a lovely green rosy aroma. Here it mixes with cedar and becomes a super soft, creamy, rosy and woody smell, that I associate with rosewood. So beautiful, and again kind of melancholic. It has a vintage romance kind of vibe. It feels like smelling a sweet and comforting memory of love.

The fragrance lands in this woody, rosy place, and it doesn't develop much from there. It just gets weaker on the skin, until it totally disappears.

Longevity is not the best, I get about 3-4 hours out of it, but it's pretty prominent while it lasts.
