Will always back the host!

Accommodation was terrible; property managers offered to refund the cleaning fee or refund our money and find something else three days into a nine day holiday. Resort was packed and no alternative accommodation available. Beds horrendous; apartment dirty and dated. Booking.com took six weeks to supposedly to contact the host and came back with the response - no compensation!due. Didn’t want the videos and WhatsApp messages. Will never use again!

Dubious

booking.com must not be on price comparison site, they are total waste of time I have seen prices on sky scanner after painstakingly filling out passenger informations for 4 passengers, booking.com increases price but when I come back to sky scanner and carry out an other search I am seeing same lower prices. I have done this at least 5 times and its not sky scanner its booking.com dirty tactic to trap customers

Deceptive and misleading customer service

Booked a room for 1 night in Sheffield,UK at OYO Flagship hotel in February 2024 for me and my family. Upon arrival at the hotel we found out that our room was cancelled a few days before our arrival and we had no accommodation for that night. Neither the hotel nor booking.com cared to inform us that we no longer have accommodation. When confronted the reception staff we were told we will get a refund, never received up to date. Will pass the issue to the Financial Ombudsman

SHAME SHAME SHAME

Unfortunately zero stars is not possible but here, up to now, 5 stars would be less.
I book a property in Sharm el Sheik in March 2024 for January 2025 with direct payment to the same which is requested and requested even after making the bank transfer.
The reservation could be canceled up to 48 hours before arrival with a 100% refund.
I canceled on April 4th and after that I entered into a hellish round of phone calls and emails with Booking.
The last deadline for refunds, according to Booking, was today, but nothing was credited.
I sent a formal notice with a copy to my lawyer.
Let's see what happens and I'll change the review if necessary

I will never again book through…

I will never again book through booking.com again.
I had a really bad experience booking one hotel, I write the review and they rejected it after a explain all what happen during my stay.

So this just shows me that they decide what I can and cannot see in the review of his hotels.

Never again I’ll trust their reviewed hotels and never booking anymore once that they don’t help with the customer issues.

That site is full of scammers

That site is full of scammers, and they cover them up. I recently rented a flat near the beach and I was partially scammed. So I gave them my review, a couple of days latter they sent me an email saying that they where removing it because it went against the privacy of the crook that rented me the flat. No wonder why that person had a perfect score, they remove all the bad reviews

Booking.Com double booked my place and…

Booking.Com double booked my place and left me high and dry. I challenge anyone to find contact information for them. Instead you can only talk to the property owner who has no control over how the booking goes. Costed me hundreds of dollars to find another stay. Don't use them. I'm deleting the app as soon as my trips over

Do NOT book flexible airplane tickets…

Do NOT book flexible airplane tickets on booking.com. When you want to change your flight they ask you to contact booking.com and not the airline company
Nobody pick up the phone. Nobody answer you emails. It is unbelievable, how much they don t care.
So basically you would buy a flexible ticket which is in fact not flexible
Expedia seems a better alternative
I am done with booking. too many problems

Avoid booking.com they advertised a…

Avoid booking.com they advertised a hotel in Phuket as 24h reception, so I booked and payed for 2 nights but when I turned up at the arranged time they would not let me beyond security. They said reception was closed, I am a female, 19yr old solo traveler that was left on the side of the road at 11pm with no where to stay. Luckily I managed to find and pay for another hotel. I have contacted booking.com customer service that night and again the following day asking for my money back and I have herd nothing from them. Appalling customer service!

No Refund

No Refund

I booked a hotel for my stay in Dubai, but upon discovering that it was not as described, I canceled my reservation and reached out to both the hotel support and Booking.com. Despite calling Booking.com's call center, where they assured me they would resolve my issue, I have been ignored.

By the way, I'm a Genius level 2, and it's ironic how Booking.com is still ignoring me!

Big fat “Negative” star

Rather give a Big fat “Negative” star. Beware! Booked a trip from Europe to Boston for the Boston Marathon, arranged payment, for 10 day stay in Dorchester, 1 day before the booking was cancelled by owner. Called Booking, get a sorry I understand bullsh*t story. Booking trying help us find something but double the price! Thanks for nothing! 4 different employees later who don’t understand their processing, finally 1 person who does. I am deleting my account and know 3 others who have had similar experiences and learning more why have had these problems. Headaches from this experience. Google and YouTube Booking and learn from others

Accomodation scammed us and booking.com did nothing to help us

If I could give zero star I would. We have booked an accomodation through booking.com and upon arriving to the said building, we try calling the person that is in charge of the accomodation multiple times but to no avail. We almost ended up in the street. We have informed booking.com about the situation and they said they cannot do anything. How are you going to protect your guest with this kind of situation? Obviously they did not understand the gravity of it and did nothing. We got scammed.

I booked Workforce Lodge for 6-10 April

I booked Workforce Lodge, San Antonio, for 6-10 April. Despite booking.com sending an email saying the hotel was expecting me, it was closing for refurbishment.
Booking.com asked me to review the hotel after I had told them it was closed! No apologies. Luckily I hadn't paid but the replacement hotel cost me more than double.

I booked an apartment which had broken…

I booked an apartment which had broken headboard, blind, and radiator. There was only 1 food bowl & 2 plates for a property that was to accommodate up to 4 people. After complaining we were moved to another property (at our own expense) which had a leaking water outlet in the bathroom. a gas hob that did not work so we could not cook & a fridge that smelt so bad we could not use. All that booking.com were offering as compensation was a miserly 10% refund.

Do not trust Booking.com reviews.
We wonder if they are fakes.
We stayed in Singapore at Singapore Merchant Clark Quay hotel, which was rated 4.5-5 star at Booking.com with heaps of flashy reviews.
In the reality it is a 3 star old hotel which we made a review about. But we cannot find our review anywhere at Booking.com! They hide our review away from public, cheating!
Will never use this dishonest website anymore.

DO NOT EVER USE THIS SITE!

If you could only leave a negative rating this will be it. Paid for a flight to Manila with Cebu Pacific. They never sent the confirmation flight to your email even though you asked for it so many times. Got my confirmed flight by going through my history in Google. Also paid for extra 20 kgs to and from but never registered. Had to pay extra for luggages again when checking in. Can’t even get any help through website, email or phone calls.Gave me a bogus ref number and pin number. Never worked! Scammers at its best!

Cancelled booking without explanation.

As part of a family holiday in Europe we booked an overnight stay in Parris on our outward journey and another overnight on our return journey. With only a few weeks to our holiday, Booking.com have sent us an email cancelling both of our overnights with no explanation and stating that they cannot accommodate another booking. Won't be using them again.

USE BOOKING.COM AS A BROWSER AND BOOK DIRECTLY ON HOTEL'S WEBSITE

Worst customer service experience I ever had: I have found booking.com good, until the day I had an issue with a double booking (due to an error on their website) and I never got any money back. After have explained my situation several times, the customer service simply ghosted me. I would advise you all to check hotels on booking.com website and then book directly through the official website of the hotel. You'll have much more chance to get any issue resolved!

Scammers

It’s horrible and the worst I have see. In my life I booked a room when I’m there no answer I’m still outside I called booking customer service after a few calls they sort it with a refund but still waisted my time and two hours to get there
