If anybody from booking.com reads this…

If anybody from booking.com reads this then please when you charge a customer on their credit card, put some ref or name of the hotel the payment being charged is actually for. Or even the date of the stay, just something to give me a clue to something I have booked months in advance for.

Very bad customer satisfaction and customer experience

Very bad customer satisfaction and customer expirience. First time in my life after booking car rent in this site rent company not accepted my driver licence and make rate ip for 300€ per it and booking. Com is cant make deal for solution it. Just cant make and not help with with problem. I need pay twice with another company and booking for car rental

They're becoming more deceitful every…

They're becoming more deceitful every day. They advertise certain discounts, which appear to be the cheapest option compared to the hotel's own website. However, when you try to book these supposedly discounted rooms as per their advertisement, you can't. Suddenly, you notice the prices go up even more than on the hotel's website. I'm done with Booking.com. Every hotel has its own website for booking, and it's cheaper than Booking.com.

This company is out to get your money

This company is out to get your money, we tried to book a room on our trip and the website gave options to see more rooms,then when we booked a different hotel we found out that the dates were changed,we got to the hotel and they informed us the booking was for the following week and there were no rooms available.. big problem was you can't cancel a booking so we lost our money.warning use another app or go to hotel in person!

Useless.com

Hotel cancelled our reservation at the last minute. Very poor availability for anything equivalent and despite booking.com being responsible for sorting out a solution (as per their terms and agreement with the hotel) they have been useless offering us up to a maximum of 25 euros towards the difference between the hotel we eventually find. Have spent too much time running around trying to find something suitable to no avail. Incredibly hard to speak to anyone at booking and get a meaningful response. Have used booking for a number of years but after this will not use them again. They’re great at taking your money, terrible at helping you when something goes awry.

Absolute Fraudulent Company !

Absolute Fraudulent Company !
Made a booking which didnt go through but they still deducted £442 from my account which has now been taken . Cannot contact anyone by phone as have no confirmation or Pin -- Every email they send is copy and paste
Please do not use this company as i now have to wait a week to disput the payment and log a refund request

Bad for guests, Horrible for hosts

Bad for hosts, bad for guests.... how can it get worse.

Really is the worst platform for hosts, consistently allowing bad guests to get away with anything and everything and when they leave a bad review....Booking: "it makes the property look more legitimate"...

A guest with over 5 stays all reviewed 1* out of 10 - how can you allow this person to book or even leave reviews?

feel free to check-out 5 hours later, can't charge you a fee

Genuinely deserves 0*, every interaction with booking is worse and worse. Go book on airbnb, it's cheaper and much better user experience and a support team thats not great but miles ahead of this clown of a company.

Taxi rescheduling fee

I have been a booking.com user for many years purchasing around $20,000 of services through them. I am currently in Barcelona and prescheduled a taxi service a couple of days ahead of time to get me back to the airport. It was scheduled for 4:00 am. As it turned out my flight was postponed 7 hours. I called 19 hours prior to my scheduled pickup time to reschedule. They said they could not reschedule without charging me again ($41.00) because it was their 24 hour policy.
They could schedule to pick me up in as little as 15 minutes as a new appointment but could not reschedule in less than 24 hours without the fee.
I will not use this app again for any services because of this 24 hour policy.

I booked a 3 night break in Ambleside…

I booked a 3 night break in Ambleside at the Fisherbeck hotel 11th to 14th June.
My reservation was suddenly cancelled without consultation and without me knowing the reason why. We were disappointed as we were looking forward to the break.
However I believe that this company has ceased trading due to financial difficulties.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service.
Our accommodation was cancelled by the hotel close to the date, and booking.com advised if we find an alternative, they will issue a refund of €25 . This hasn't happened and the proof of payment I provide (which clearly shows the accomodation and amount paid) "can't be accepted".
Same template response every time.

The site is good until something goes wrong, and this is the 2nd time something has happened and the 2nd time CS has failed to handle it.

Best to use the site as a search engine and book with hotels direct.

Absolutely atrocious service

Absolutely atrocious service. Was advised less than 24 hrs before check in thet our room was double booked and we had no where to stay. Booking.com were absolutely useless didn’t help at all, cut us off when asked to speak to a manager twice. Sent out a check in notification after the booking had been cancelled as of we were still booked in. I am still waiting for money back which apparently takes between 6-12 days!! Just the most uncaring appalling service I have ever had

As a host my advice is don't use BDC

As a host, I find booking.com extremely frustrating. Unlike airBnB, BDC support contact details are difficult to find, you can't raise a query without a reservation number so if it is a pre-booking problem you can't answer any questions. You can't contact you guests until they have booked, this makes answering questions IMPOSSIBLE.



It took me over two hours of being passed from one dpt to another, eventualy their support could not hear me, apparently, so they hung up. They didnt call back.

If you dont need to use Booking.com steer well clear as you will be pulling your hair out with frustration.

USE airBnB instead is my advice!

Never got an invoice

In December I booked a hotel in Amsterdam and asked for the invoice right away, following their instructions. Five months laters, after several calls and emails, they still haven't be able to send me an invoice, stating that I have to wait and that all they can do it to urge on the matter "some other office or the intermediary". A shame.

This is a total waste of company !!

This is a total waste of company !!! After spending hours trying to get in touch & bring cut off and passed pillar to post …. My refund has still not been sorted . Customer service is meant to be the key in everything we do now … I think someone at the top needs to sort this absolute farce in your customer service department . Extremely unhappy . Will not be using this company again !
No managers want to speak to you … what kind of set up is this .

Your customer support is atrocious

Your customer support is atrocious. I shouldn't expect to have to call and speak to such rude staff. I wont be booking again. There are other platforms.

Worst company to deal with,there…

Worst company to deal with,there website make chengs on the booking search with our you knowing.
I book to fly back to Toronto YYZ from Vancouver.
The confirmation came as Toronto YKF which is waterloo.
When I called to correct they asked for $271.00 per person when I could re-purchase my self for $123.00.
They have no customers service and not reliable.
Do not use this company.

Have tried multiple times through the…

Have tried multiple times through the app, email and phone to discuss an issue with customer services. It’s clear that they don’t read and probably using a bot to respond. As soon as there is an issue it seems to make it impossible to speak to someone to resolve. Worst customer service ever experienced.

Absolutely avoid. Refusing to refund when I've done nothing wrong, so am escalating the case to court.

Just go to Kayak, Airbnb etc

Left us stranded abroad

Booked flights through booking.com. Return flight got cancelled 6 months ago but they didn't inform us and customer services insisted it was still there. Can't get through to complaints as it's staffed by AI

I initially bought a round trip under the same reservation number, for a total of €891. The airline changed both flights and the return ticket did not suit my schedule. Booking and Gotogate offered an alternative for both flights (same airline) I accepted them and HERE BOOKING MADE THE MISTAKE OF SPLITTING THOSE OPTIONS UNDER DIFFERENT CONFIRMATION NUMBERS. Nevertheless, after 4 months of waiting the return flight was never confirmed. After dozens of emails and calls they offered a full refund and I accepted. They now will only refund me for one leg claiming that I have 2 reservation numbers, WHEN THIS WAS THEIR MISTAKE! In my view, this is stealing.
