Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki talk 'Supernatural': Will Sam's trials test his relationship with Dean?

For several seasons, "Supernatural" boys Sam and Dean Winchester have had a troubled relationship. At one point, they seemed destined to go down fighting on opposite sides of the war between Heaven and Hell, but after countless fights and deep betrayals, they've emerged once again as brothers with a common goal. In last week's episode, "Trial and Error," they seemed closer than ever as Dean confessed that he dreams of a happy future for Sam and Sam swore that he believed in Dean's ability to live through their latest battle.

It was quite touching, really. But can they continue to see eye-to-eye as Sam faces the trials from God in his attempt to close the gates of hell for good?

Jared Padalecki tells us that there's a potential for the trials to cause a little bit of trouble between them, because once again, Sam and Dean aren't being entirely honest with each other. (It's the Winchester way!)

"I do feel like the trials are going to take a toll on their relationship because ... it's something that Dean really wanted to do," Padalecki says. "That's not necessarily the way it worked out, so I think Dean doesn't resent Sam, but Dean resents that he wasn't able to do it." When God tests a man's strength of character, he doesn't go easy on him. Sam is going to have a really rough go of it, and he's going to do his best to hide his struggles from Dean.

"Dean and Sam have always been like, 'Just be honest with me! Tell me what's going on.' But obviously the trials are taking this toll on Sam, but he doesn't want to go to his brother and say, 'Listen, buddy, I'm scared. It's hurting, and I'm coughing up blood.' He's like 'No, I'm good, I'm good, I'm good,'" he explains.

Naturally, Dean begins to question Sam's fortitude. "Sam's lying to Dean, and Dean's lying to Sam, because Sam's like, 'You don't believe in me!' and Dean's like 'Of course I believe in you,' but Dean is having his doubts."

Jensen Ackles tells us that despite honest moments like we saw in last week's episode, the conflict between the brothers is still palpable. "I don't know whether the brothers will ever fix things. The strains are less, there's an unbreakable bond as we've seen," he says. "Try as they might, they are bound by blood, and that will always be there. The straining relationship, and the bickering, and the not understanding what each other is going through, the trying to battle all those things -- that's always going to be there."

Speaking of strains on the Winchesters' relationship... while we're hearing that Sam's love interest Amelia is out of the picture for good, rumor has it that we haven't seen the last of Dean's Purgatory pal Benny. Though some fans may worry about Benny's impact on Sam and Dean's bond, Ackles is all for seeing him return to the show, and not only because he loves working with Ty Olsson.

"The character itself I think was really cool, because Dean's never really had a relationship anywhere close to that. His relationship with his brother is what it is, and everybody knows about that, then there's the relationship with Cas, which was strained and tattered and torn, and there was a whole bunch of stuff there," says Ackles. "But to have somebody who was a war hero with you, to have a brother-in-arms kind of thing, was something that hadn't really been explored, so I really liked that connection that Dean had ... kudos to [Jeremy] Carver for going with that storyline. I thought it was awesome, the whole Purgatory thing. Selfishly, I hope that Benny comes back."

За финал на филма - и аз много се съмнявам, че ще могат да имат нормален живот. Те са преживяли толкова ужаси, толкова свръхестествени неща, че е два ли ще съумеят да се държат нормално.  По-вероятно ми се струва единият да умре. Предполагам, че това естествено ще бъде Дийн. Сам , за разлика от него е много по- склонен към нормален живот. Вече няма нищо да го спира да се събере и да си зажее с Амелия щастливо. Точно както заряза брат си в началото на осми сезон, живеейки си щастливо с Амелия. А какво е станало с Дийн ? Кой го интересува. Думи нямам.

If Sam and Dean are successful in their quest to close the gates of Hell, it could greatly change the dynamic of the show. So why do this story? And why do it now?
Glass: We’re going to write ourselves out of a job if we do this! [Laughs] We’ve got to change some stuff!
[The others laugh.]
Loflin: What it came down to was last season was the Leviathans, and we had a lot of fun telling that story. Then we knew at the end of the season Sam and Dean were going to be apart and we had to find something to bring them back together. Then we thought demons from Episode 1 and angels from Season 4 have been kind of the fire under this show. They’re what keeps this show, mythologically speaking, at a boil, so to get back into that felt really right.
And you’re right, it speaks to the core of the show. As things move forward I think it will change the way the show looks and feels probably in some pretty drastic ways. That’s a good thing, though. I think a show in its eighth season and moving forward needs to change things up. You try to play to your strengths and avoid your weaknesses, and I think demons, Crowley and Hell have always been a big strength for us. So we’re leaning back into it

Supernatural recently got renewed for a ninth season. How does it feel to know you’re coming back for another season? And have you already begun thinking about plans for season nine?
Thompson: I’m thrilled. To season infinity and beyond!
Klein: I’m pumped for exploring the new storylines of Season 9 and feel immensely grateful to the fans for supporting the show they way they do. It’s incredible and there wouldn’t be a Season 9 without them!
Glass: First off, we’re so lucky to have Jared and Jensen as our leads. Those two take our scripts to a whole other level week in and week out. Secondly, we have the best fans in the world; they seriously keep this show going strong and we can’t thank them enough. Finally, there are still so many stories to tell, and we look forward to writing all of them and exploring these two brothers and their adventures for some time to come.
Loflin: I doubt any of us are less than psyched to have the opportunity to play in this world for another year, so yeah, more Supernatural is always going to be a good thing. And building on what I said earlier about how I never thought we’d be able to come up with enough ideas to fill out Season 4? I’ve already got a number of potential standalones in the chamber for Season 9. New points of view for monsters just keep coming, so at this point it’s really about figuring out what Jeremy and Bob are going to respond to, and then assigning them a story that best suits the message. It’s funny, I was joking around with Jared a few weeks ago, talking about how to end the series. We kicked around a few ideas, but the one that made the most sense was “Why end it at all?” Let’s Gunsmoke [препратката е към стар сериал от 20 сезона ] this beast! Keep it going through Season 20 if we can! We had a good laugh, thinking about an ossified Sam and Dean kicking monster ass with walkers and canes. But who knows, maybe it’ll happen?
Dabb: I think we’re all incredibly excited … but honestly, I probably won’t start thinking about Season 9 until we’re done with Season 8. Still, I think we have a lot of really good stuff to work with going forward, with Sam being turned into a girl, and Dean … crap … I’ve said too much.

Teзи дни преговарям филми с Вин Дизел, което не е толкова важно, де, обаче в един от тях видях Тай Олсън . Ролята му се състоеше в това да седи върху героя на Вин, който с рязко повдигане на ханша го размаза на една от лампите в тунела. Забележително .


 
Ама като Бениии !

Според мен и Дийн е склонен към нормален живот, защото в човешката природа е заложено да търси другар в живота. Още от края на времето на ловците-събирачи човечеството живее уседнало. Просто Дийн сам на себе си не позволява да живее така, а не защото има непокорна и търсеща душа на авантюрист. Според мен той се страхува да не загуби един такъв начин на живот и затова и не се опитва да го създаде. Когато нямаш нещо, няма и как да го загубиш. Така мисля.



За да стане това, не трябва да е останал кьорав ангел в Рая и злото да върлува безконтролно.  
От друга страна, в този сериал никой не е завинаги мъртъв  

Колкото и да си напъвам аспиринчето, не мога да измисля читав край на сериала.  Дупе да им е яко на сценаристите, много е трудно  Но даже да има незадоволителен край, цялостното усещане от сериала ще е водещото. (смотания финал на д-р Хаус не ме разочарова, само констатирах, че е такъв) Само да не умират!
