Season 9 clip: Dean enters the Men of Letters bunker, Kevin is there and fires a crossbow at him. Kevin hasn't slept or eaten for days, and is oversharing about his bowel movements. Dean tells Kevin that the angels fell and that the next time the world's ending, he should grab a gun. Sam comes in, seems healthy enough, has Crowley with a bag over his head and his ears covered. They take the bag off his head and punch him.
"You're giving us the name of every demon on earth and who they're possessing," Sam insists. Crowley says he's not giving them anything -- they've got no leverage. Sam says they're just going to leave him alone until he gives them what they want -- being stuck in solitary with no one to talk to must be his own personal hell. Seems correct -- Crowley looks concerned, then bored. We fade to black.

Carver: We're going to learn pretty quickly that a world full of fallen angels is pretty much a free-for-all -- Mark Sheppard knocked his nametag off so gets up to get it. Jensen tells Misha to knock it over again. As soon as Mark sits, Misha does.

Mark retaliates by knocking off Misha's.
"This is a day on set," Jared says.

Jeremy continues: With angels on earth, it's not one unified body, we've got lots of angels out there with lots of agendas, many are feeling lost and scared and vengeful, it's lending itself to some very exciting and wonderful character moments for all of our characters to be dealing with. A world of fallen angels is a dirty, bloody, scary and in some ways very human world, and we're really really excited to explore that.

How is Sam and Dean's relationship in S9
Jeremy: One of the interesting things about the end of last season, the brothers chose each other and their love for each other over the season-long quest. That's left them stronger than ever but has also created a tremendous amount of fall out. All the normal constructs of heaven and hell aren't the same anymore. The King of Hell isn't in residence and heaven isn't running how its usually ran.

Jared: Thankfully we have fans who want us to keep fighting the fight. We'll keep fighting the fight together, and with angels on earth and the king of hell in our dungeon, we're really going to need each other more than ever.

How has Castiel changed?
Misha: It's a remarkable shift for Castiel, because prior to this season he's been equipped with all sorts of powers and capacities that made him a useful tool for the brothers ... now he can pop in and basically fold laundry, so there's a shift in the dynamic there in terms of how he can be utilized at the outset of the season. For Castiel's arc as a character, it's going to be an immensely rich terrain to explore, his becoming human. We've tested those waters a bit ... now he's really down in the dirt and the filth of being a human and getting to experience what it's like to eat and then what happens to the food after you eat it.
Jared: There's a great bathroom scene.
Jeremy: It's a three episode arc.
Misha: You're an adult and you're flushing a toilet for the first time, it's an epiphany. So lots of bathroom related stuff for Cas.

How sincere was Crowley's breakdown?
Mark: [The spell] has had a profound effect on him whether he likes it or not. Hopefully we'll go on a little journey to find out what kind of effect it has one him.

Men of Letters in Season 9
Bob: It's the first actual permanent set we've had. It's also a treasure trove of information, there's rooms in the MoL we haven't explored yet. The MoL for Dean, is a home ... it's as close to home as we're going to get. For Sam it's a workplace and he doesn't think of it as home, but he's comfortable in the academic pursuits one can explore in the MoL, so that's something we'll see this season.

Bobby's return
Jeremy: Jim also tweeted that he was coming back in a way you wouldn't guess and wouldn't expect, so that's how I'm going to leave it, because I'm evil.

Felicia Day coming back?
Bob pretends to insult Felicia and she comes out on stage to confront him, Jared and Misha have to separate them. Felicia: I heard you, Bob, and I flew over here. (She joins the panel officially). I might have a cosplay Deadpool take you out in the bathroom later. BoB: Obviously Felicia will be back, we love her, we have big plans for her this year, and she knows we love her. Felicia: I'm thrilled to be back -- and this is the first time I've been in Hall H. It's always amazing when you have a gift of a character that you want to play all the time. I'm very blessed to be working with these amazing men and their perfect hair... I feel this show needs a teflon vagina ... Charlie is a woman who happens to be a geek but that's not who she is, she's not defined by being a geek, she's a person ... Charlie is a real person who happens to love the things she loves. It's hard to create a character like that.
Jeremy gives a shout-out to the writing staff who are in attendance.

What keeps Dean going, how does he stay so strong and stand by his brother?
Misha: Yeah, his brother's pretty lame.
Jensen: Dean has been through quite a lot over the past 17...3, 5, 23 episodes. 173, Over the course of many hours of television ... What keeps him motivated is his sense of duty to fight the good fight, it's his duty to his brother, his family, it's what he signed on to do. Sometimes he doesn't want to do it but he does it anyway because that's what he does and what he was put on the earth to do... I think when Dean got back from Purgatory, there was a real sense of clarity in that mission, to be alongside his brother and driving that beast of a machine and rocking out to some true rock and roll. And pie.

What keeps Sam going?
Jared: Sam tries to fight the good fight and do what he thinks is right. We play with this "road to hell is paved with good intentions" quote. Sometimes he errs, but that's the beauty of it ... These guys aren't defined by their interests, they're just trying to live ... Sam's just trying to do what he thinks is right, I think he's accepted that his life's not going to be normal, finally, so he's trying to make the world a better place.

Will we find out where angels or demons go when they die?
Misha: They go to Comic-Con.
Bob: That's a very good question. My wife who's a writer on the show asked me that question the other day.
Jeremy: It's something we could answer -- a place that's ripe for storytelling, so yes, hopefully.

Anyone aside from Jensen thought about directing?
Jensen: I'll just shut up. Jared: I've thought about it, I don't think it's right for me to do currently. Maybe in a couple of seasons... Our breaks always seem so short that I really try to make the most of every second I have with my family. Between visiting family, now we've got a little kiddo, inevitably, I fly back to Vancouver at the last minute -- I'm not yet willing to give up the extra two weeks. Misha: I also have two small children who keep me up at night ... I'm looking forward to spending some time away from them directing and getting some sleep. I'd like to thank Jeremy and Bob for the opportunity and apologize in advance for the product.
Felicia: I thought you were going to ask what Jensen smells like ... coriander and leather.

Where did Jared pull Sam's angst from in the season finale?
Jared: It really took over me for some reason. Jensen was like "Chill out." All of the angst came from having to be on set with Sheppard ... No, he did an amazing job ... To have the material, and then another actor who was doing an amazing fricking job. I don't know where it came from, but I think the material brings it out. Jensen and I have worked together like that for years.

How they feel about playing different versions of the characters
Jensen: Dean tends to stay Dean no matter where he is or what situation he's in, he's just angry. Back in "The French Mistake," the one and only time we've been brought into a conceptualized meeting, they wanted to know how we felt about using ourselves. I said "as long as Dean never deviates from Dean, you can put us anywhere you want." Jared deals with that with Sam a lot more, the altering of the character, he does a really good job of it. I'm kind of fortunate that I stay the course. Jared: It's really difficult, but it's really fun. My favorite was from "French Mistake" where it was Jared and Jensen playing Sam and Dean playing Jared and Jensen playing Sam and Dean. Who gets to do that? But as far as soulless Sam and Lucifer Sam, they're all great ... that's awesome, otherwise it would be the same thing over and over.
Misha: I think that's why we're up here nine seasons later ... you guys as writers are constantly taking risks and changing things up and that's an amazing achievement ... It's what keeps it interesting to watch and to be on. It makes it fun to come to work.

No plans to bring the Antichrist character, Jesse, back any time soon, but Jeremy says fun/interesting characters never stay gone forever

Why is Crowley the only demon who can teleport
Bob: He's the king. We gave Crowley that particular skill because he'd worked his way so far up the demon ladder, that's one of the perks you get when you're the boss.
Jared: It's like when Voldemort learned to fly!
Jensen: Really?

10:07: Starting off with a highlight reel and a sneak peek at the new season! The new sneak peek shows the brothers giving Crowley a taste of his own personal Hell. (Hopefully WB will release it shortly.)

10:14: Panel introductions are starting right now!

10:16: What’s a world like with fallen angels everywhere? Jeremy says “One of the things that’s going to be really exciting this season is we’re going to learn that a world with fallen angels is pretty much a free-for-all…” Mark gets up to interrupt things because his ID fell off the table, and then when he retrieved it, Jensen encouraged Misha to knock it over again…and Misha did. Poor Mark.

10:18: Jeremy finishes his answer about the fallout from the finale: “It’s not one unified body. 10:25: And what about Crowley? “Whatever happened to Crowley at the end of season 8 has had a profound effect on him whether he likes it or not,” Mark says. “Hopefully we’ll go on a little journey to find out what kind of effect it has on him.”

10:27: As for the Men of Letters status in season 9, Bob notes it’s a home for Dean, but for Sam, it’s a workplace.

10:28: What can they say about Jim Beaver’s return? Basically nothing.

10:29: The gang starts bad-mouthing Felicia Day, and then…surprise, she’s here! “Obviously Felicia will be back,” Bob says.

“I’m thrilled to be back,” Felicia adds.

10:31: Felicia applauds them creating a “geek” character who is more than a cliche. She loves that Charlie is as strong as she is, and thinks the show needs a character with a Teflon vagina.

10:33: What keeps Dean going? “It’s his duty to his brother, his family..he knows that’s why he was put on the earth. I think when he got back from Purgatory last season — I really liked that storyline, I was sad to see Purgatory go — but he had a real sense of his mission.”

10:36: What keeps Sam going? “He tries to fight the good fight; he tries to do what’s right. We always play with the road to Hell is paved with good intentions…they’re trying to do the right thing. Sam’s trying to do what he thinks is right. I think he’s accepted his life is not going to be normal, finally, but he’s trying to make the world a better place.”

10:37: Now that Castiel is human, will he learn to drive the Impala? “No,” Jensen says. Bob points out that as protective as Dean is about the car, Jensen is equally protective. “I don’t like when the teamsters drive it to set!” Jensen says.

10:38: Fan questions! Will we find out what happens to angels and demons when they are destroyed? It’s something they’ve discussed showing.

10:40: Do the other actors think about directing? Jared says “maybe in a few years.” Misha reveals he will be directing this upcoming season: “I think I’m planning to direct an episode: episode 17.” Mark says, “They don’t let me do anything.”

10:43: “The path of the fallen angels intersects with the Winchesters in a major way this season…I think you’re going to see angels and demons up the wazoo this year,” Jeremy says. The boys will be “knee-deep in angel problems.”

10:45: Are we going to see Jesse again? Jeremy says there are no immediate plans, but they’re always looking to bringing back past characters that pop.

10:48: Jared says he’s not normally a method actor, but for filming the final church scenes, he got in a special zone and “it kind of took over…I think all of the angst came from having to be with Sheppard.”

“To have the material and to have another actor that is doing an amazing freaking job, I think the material brings it out,” Jared says. “It felt really good.”

10:49: Is it hard for them the change their personalities when their characters evolve over the year? “Dean tends to stay Dean whatever situation he’s in,” Jensen says. “He’s generally angry.” He notes the one time he was brought in was for “The French Mistake” when they wanted to make sure they were okay with them using aspects of their real personalities.

Jared notes that filming “The French Mistake” was a bit trippy, but he loves the opportunities he gets on this show.

10:53: Favorite gun they’ve used? Jared says he wants to use the grenade gun they have in the car that they’ve yet to us. Jensen says his 1911 is his favorite, noting he can take it apart, clean it, etc.

10:55: Why is Crowley the only one who can teleport? “He’s the King…it’s good to be the King,” Bob says. He cites it as “one of the perks you get as the boss.”

Накратко: Боби ще се върне, по някакъв начин. Чарли също (самата Фелиша се счита за благословена да работи с тези невероятни мъже с идеални коси/прически ). Падналите ангели: ще имат различни реакции и цели, много ще се чувстват изгубени, изплашени и търсещи отмъщение - очакват ни интересни сцени/моменти. Сезонът ще се върти основно около ангелите, ще се развие и линията с Книжовниците. Ще има промяна в отношенията между братята и Кас, който няма вече предишните си сили и не могат да използват (за помощ) както досега. Линията Кас като човек дава богата палитра от възможности; обещават ни страхотна сцена в баня . Връзката между Сам и Дийн е по-силна от всякога след решението им да останат заедно, но може да има отдръпване от този избор особено в началото на сезона. Краули: случилото се в края на миналия сезон му е оказало голямо влияние, независимо дали му харесва или не. Ще видим по-нататък какъв точно ефект.
